[ANDY’S APPLE FARM DOODLES - EXORCISED REBOOT AU]

Introducing Team Fruity ft. The Sweet Apple who just wants one good day, the Posh Clock who secretly cares about the apple, and the laidback pumpkin who has one brain-cell and eldritch powers.

So I got sucked up into the AAF fandom due to some emotional issues with college and it’s helping a bit after looking into the fanarts and ideas.

This AU is basically a mix of my own ideas and @sir-subpar where once Thomas’ family and the entity leave the game and the characters are somewhat back to their normal selves, and Peter has nothing to do but just exist.

Points in this AU: 

- No one forgot about what had happened. But Andy was the tormentee of it all. So, he began to distance himself from his friends, working more in his farm and communicate little.

- Margaret, Felix, and Melody were aware that Andy’s not around much, but it was Claus who noticed Andy avoiding everything and had regrets about his previous actions. 

- Andy found Peter relaxing under a tree and at first was scared of him, only to let him live and work with him as he had no place to go to.

- Peter gets along with Andy’s friends like a laidback uncle figure who gives either good advice or the chaotic options. He also has the entity’s powers but it’s only when necessary or to freak people out.

- Peter and Andy do get along as they help each other around the farm, Peter does the heavy work and lets Andy do the rest.

- Claus gets a bit jealous of Peter because he was Andy’s best friend first and he wants him back.

There is more to this AU’s story but that is all I could share for now due to college...

They would sit under a tree, on a warm autumn afternoon

Peter would lay on his back, his hands behind his head, just having his eyes closed and enjoying the outside

Andy would sit next to him, babbling on and on about random topics, while Peter listens with one ear

Andy mostly would ramble about his work on the farm, what he got done that day and what he plans to do next

but he'd also share stories about Thomas; like when Andy tried a new recipe, and how it turned into a disaster bc a certain someone Wouldn't Stop Bugging Him

Peter would stay quiet for the most part, just enjoying his voice, but occasionally he'd chime in to trash talk Thomas

periodically, Andy would grab a snack (like a chocolate bar) to share with Peter, while also making sure they're both drinking enough

it'd be a chilled back and relaxing time, just enjoying the sun, the light breeze, and the company of the other

Got some peeps telling me to continue the comic and telling me to give Andy raspberries so here you go lmao. Also here's some headcanons since I've been having brainrot of these two suckers since I finished that comic

Andy:

Andy is extremely ticklish within the game and reacts quite ridiculously to certain touches

He is often the target in tickle fights, which typically has him dog piled on top of and wrecked till he can't breath

His main ler is typically Felix; he's a cheeky, slippery fish, able to move quickly and catch him off guard fast enough to jump on him

Andy is a giant ball of nerves, able to giggle up a storm no matter where you touch (Felix loves to take advantage of that fact)

Andy refuses to speak of the time Felix got him while they were fishing on a boat and fell off, having to take a walk of shame back the far, soaked, meanwhile his fish friend teases him. Every time it's mentioned, he will walk out of the room without a word

This doesn't mean he isn't able to hold up his own in a tickle fight (if he's lucky)

He will absolutely conspire against his friends and get them to help him with the ambush; they will typically help but will sometimes turn the tables on him (aka Peter)

Andy is strangely heavy so uses that to his advantage pinning others down, having no qualms with teasing and even baby talking, but will respect their boundaries and stop when asked

Will blow a raspberry occasionally but they're so soft it can only his lee giggle like crazy 🥺

Peter:

A MONSTER

No questions asked

You'd be lucky to even touch the guy, he'll move so fast behind you, you won't notice until you blink

He's an unpredictable guy, no emotion or intent behind those lime green eyes of his, but once someone's been targeted, you can run and hide but he'll catch you eventually

He's a fan of playing a game of tickle tag within the maze of the barn, it will be very terrifying to you but to him, very amusing :)

Once he catches you, he'll praise you for your attempt and effort, but will quickly turn sinister and start teasing you

Now it isn't in your typical "coochie coochie coo" fashion but it's pretty clear he's mocking you for you goofy reaction

"Now now, why are you so nervous? Settle down, take a breath and don't panic. I'm not gonna hurt you."

Peter can read people like books, so will know just exactly where to attack, even at the smallest reaction

He graces his finger on your hip and you twitch? About a millisecond later he's drilling his finger into the bone but you can't buck him off since he's straddling you

oh well guess you'll just have to take it and hope for the best 🤷‍♀️

Primary victim is hard to determine as he rarely tickles someone

But when he does, it's usually Andy and BOY does he love tormenting the apple

He will inflict the worst methods on his ass and will not stop until he's satisfied, but this goes to everyone, so regardless of victim, they're gonna get got

Not ticklish. Don't try it trust me buddy it will quite literally save your life

Bro will turn around at a menacingly slow pace and by the time he's staring into your soul, it's game over

- usually regresses down to 1

-very stubborn amd bratty when regressed

-has digestives issues so can only apple sauce or anything like that

-andy is her caretaker and vice versa

-throw fits when she doesn't get what she wants, so andy kind of spoils her to make her not throw tantrums

-hates loud noises, so she usually wears noise canceling headphones when their is any loud noises present

-likes any kind of physical affection, includes hugging, cuddling, head patting, pets, and ect

-switches between being verbal and non-verbal depending on her emotions

-usually it takes a little while for sapphire to tell other people about her regression even if she doesn't/does know the person very well

-whenever something scares sapphire (say a thunderstorm) she'll usually hide somewhere till the noise is gone and nothing can convince her to come out

andy the apple

-regresses to 1-2 (but not common to regressed to older then 1 and 2)

-opposite of sapphire, is he very sweet and kind when he regresses

-very well behaved (probably due to him being a people pleaser and never saying no to people)

-since he is trans, he usually nervous about getting his diaper change, so he usually distracted by a toy or anything like that

-sleeps with a nightlight since he is scared of the dark due to peter

-sapphire is his caretaker but if his "friend's" were not bad people it would probably be claus or margret (melody in third place because i would probably trust her more then felix since she is more responsible)

-usually very verbal but sometimes goes semi non-verbal if he gets scared

-hasn't told his "friend's" about his or sapphire's regression because he is scared that they will shun and stop being friends with them

-andy forces himself to stopping regressing to make food for himself because he doesn't really care about what he eats when regressed

-very tired because he overworks himself and burns himself out (such a cute eepy baby)

-sometimes age dreams due to being so tired

-got bipolar disorder from her mother so had very extreme mood swings so she can be either very bratty or very sweet (sorry if i got it wrong i searched this up on my computer and i'm writing this on my phone)

-craves a lot of attention from people because she was neglected as a child and gets very angry from not getting attention

-regresses to a toddler because she had to take care of herself when she was a toddler and she refuses to regress younger then a toddler

-very clingy due to neglect and being ignored when she was younger, this is the reason why she tried to murder sapphire in a car because sharlot gave sapphire more attention then her

-hates being babied or being taken care of because she never had anyone to depend on

-tried a lot of the baby stuff her mother got for sapphire since sapphire was babied until she turned 13 and sapphire was forced to act like an adult

-very nervous talking about her regression to anybody since she could never tell people things when she was younger

Hi! I'm a big fan of your work. I have a question about your theory on Peter being possessed by the entity...Well, it's mostly going to be questions and points I noticed in the theory

First off, since we don't know if the Entity and Peter are one in the same, Peter being possessed might not be confirmed until later, though I'll say this now: I love your theory and I do support it. Now for the other stuff

Question set 1: If Peter is conscious in his own body, and we see him shape-shifting into that one eyed pumpkin thing both in the Christmas DLC and the Valentines animation, do you think the entity is forcing Peter's body to change? Does it hurt when he transforms?

Question set 2: If Peter and the Entity are separate beings, how do you think Peter met the thing? How did it get inside him? Is it stuck there permanently?

Question set 3: If Peter is actually separated from the entity, do you think it could've shared its mind with him or something? Like, do you think Peter knows about the Eastwoods (and both Arthur and Sam) being trapped in the game? Do you think he could tell Andy what's happening, or ask the player to free the spirits or destroy the monster in his body? Is Peter self-aware?

Question set 4: Unrelated to the Peter thing, why do you think Andy is able to remember what Thomas Eastwood did? Why does the Entity say 'It's all your fault' in the Valentines day special? Are the spirits possessing everyone? Is that why Andy's friends kinda force him into the barn where something dangerous is? Like, did the spirits possess everyone that day thinking Andy WAS Thomas and they wanted revenge or something?

I apologize if this is long, but I really like talking about this idea/theory/headcacnon of mine. (If future updates to the game end up disproving me, which is likely to happen, I'll just call it an AU and go ham on the concept for fun )

Thanks for the lovely in-depth ask! I don't get to theorize with people a lot, which is a shame cuz I love doing it.

Here we go! Below the cut, so that it's not too long for people who aren't interested in this and want to scroll past it

1. I headcanon that Peter's body contorting does in fact hurt, especially that weird neck twist/snap in some of those pictures.

And I can't imagine growing extra appendages or elongating previous existing ones is really comfortable (decided to make this kind of funny/angsty doodle)

2. I don't really know how exactly Peter would meet The Entity. I kind of assumed that the entity just... moved in, after Thomas & Co latched onto the other characters. Like: "Oh all the others characters are being used, what's left for me?" And then it just saw Peter and went "That works"

Or: My other idea, since pumpkins are commonly associated with things like Halloween & things that are scary, maybe the Entity looked at it from a thematic standpoint and thought Peter just worked best. The Entity is a demon(?) and Peter's a pumpkin, and maybe it just kind of fit a little too well. (Also it's unclear if the entity shapeshifted Peter to be taller or if he actually is by default 6'8, but it's something I just wanted to mention)

3. I think Peter and the entity can communicate in his mind. Kind of in that classic venom/demonic possession-type telepathy way. I headcanon that Peter is conscious most, if not all the time, but he doesn't have a lot of control over what happens.

I feel like the entity wouldn't let him help the others because this is meant to be Thomas's punishment, and it uses Peter to communicate. So I feel that Peter knows at least a bit of what's really going on, but is overall powerless to stop it. I think that even if the entity didn't fully explain to Peter what was happening, he could figure it out to some extent through context clues. (Especially since it's talking to Thomas using him, just as Thomas is using Andy to talk to The Entity)

4. I'm not entirely sure if Andy "remembers" the things Thomas does, but if he did/does, I think Thomas and Co. Can to some extent share their memories with Andy and co.

Either that, or Andy doesn't really remember what Thomas did, and "Andy's" Recollections of what happened are actually just Thomas communicating through him (like Andy saying "No, that was you!" Might actually be Thomas using Andy's body/voice.

Which to me would explain why some of the characters seem to react to all the creepy glitches

Note: Claus's nervous tone/stutter after the cutscene where Thomas kills Aurthur. It seemed really strange to me that Claus is one of the only characters who outright reacts to what happened. Like, I'm sure Andy can see it because he mentions it in the specials and what not. But I do find it interesting that Claus is one of the only other characters who seems genuinely afraid of what's happening.

I can't be the only one who heard the hesitation in his voice, right? Like, the stutter? "Here is your.. b-bonus sticker." Is kinda how it sounded to me.

Leading me to believe that certain Andy's Apple Farm characters are more affected by (and aware of) the spirits possessing/controlling/manipulating them.

I think the spirits are using Andy's friends to get to Thomas, and Thomas is using Andy as some sort of Shield.

Anyone else find it strange that Thomas just happens to be the one who possesses the protagonist of the game he made? Almost like a protagonist can't be easily removed from the game, and has some sort of plot armor keeping him there?

Now, there is a chance that the entity forced Thomas and Andy to share Andy's body, using the fact that players restart from checkpoints when they fail as a way to put Thomas into an endless loop of torment and repetition. I just want to make note of these things I noticed

I'm admittedly a little late to the party (as it exists online instead of just on my TV, that is), but I don't know of CSI having any holidays? If it (or, specifically, the Sara Sidle and Gil Grissom-worshipping segment of the fandom) did, though, surely today would have to be one.

Today is the 25th anniversary of the first day of the 50th annual AAFS conference, the real-life conference that is the presumed basis for the forensic academy conference at which our two lovers met. (In my headcanon, they met the first day of the conference.) So that's going to be the theme of my Tumblr day. (In real life I am celebrating a belated Christmas, but that's a whole different story.)

If you're looking to celebrate (my made-up holiday...) by reading a little fic, @clintbeifong has an excellent wip on ao3 that takes our two science nerds through the four days of the conference and beyond: "An Evolving Theory of GSR." She does a really great job of setting up the details of the conference, so I highly recommend it.

I also have a story (complete) / series (wip) that goes through the four days of the conference and beyond: "Survivors in the Night: AAFS Conference to Las Vegas: A How They Met Story" (part 1 of Survivors in the Night: A Las Vegas Love Story). It's available on both ao3 and FFN, so pick your poison. I delve a lot less deeply into the details of the conference itself (read: not at all), but I definitely had some fun expanding on the characters' backstories. (I won't give you any more details on the differences lest I spoil aspects of someone else's story.)

I know there are lots of other conference / seminar-based "how they met" stories out there, but these are the two I know off the top of my head that specifically adopt the dates and specific setting of the real-life AAFS conference.

pool party hcs? (for aaf))

My first headcanon request! Here we go!

-They all somehow got a pool so yeah.

Felix, being a fish, is obviously a great swimmer (plus he can breath underwater)

He likes to play pranks in the pool obviously. They’re usually minor things like spitting water in peoples faces or grabbing their ankles underwater.

Melody usually brings a bunch of pool floaties. She likes to jump on them along with Felix.

Speaking of jumping, Melody and Felix usually have jumping contests. They usually splash people to the point it starts to get annoying. Usually Margaret jumps in as well, and her splashes are big. This has gotten to the point where they stop when she says she’s going to jump.

Claus usually doesn’t get in the pool, no matter how much convincing. Felix usually then grabs his ankles and drags him in. He screams every time.

Andy and Margaret like to just talk and hang out in the pool, however, if Felix or Melody have an activity they want to do, they’ll join.

One time a very… strange incident happened.

Once they were about done swimming, Felix was still in the pool so everyone else was talking when suddenly, Felix darted out of the pool screaming.

When asked what was wrong, he said he saw a mysterious black thing in the pool.

Of course, They sent Andy to investigate. After a bit of swimming underwater, he was about to come out and say that Felix probably just saw some kind of algae, when something grabbed his ankle.

He turned and saw sometime if black foggy thing. He swore he saw eyes in there. Thankfully he escaped before he ran out of air.

After coming out, he said that they needed to leave NOW. They didn’t use the pool for months after that.

They use it now, but they still talk about that day.

claus’ clock actually works, time just freezes where they are because bideo game. if they went to the real world his eyebrows would be all over the place, but for now it is eternally 10:15

peter (not the entity) is actually really nice

melody and felix are afraid of ghosts (ironically) adding to this, peter is afraid of bright lights and andy is afraid of the dark

andy doesn’t like chopping down dead trees or using the axe at all and will ask someone else to do it for him

andy can play chess but knows he’ll lose in less than a minute especially to claus

melody can’t swim and felix can (exceptionally well actually) but he doesn’t like to

margaret cooks!! she only uses family recipes and grows all her ingredients. andy has planted a few non-apple trees just for her to cook with

andy goes out with a random friend to sell his apples at the market across the street from the park.
