[ANDY’S APPLE FARM DOODLES - EXORCISED REBOOT AU]

Introducing Team Fruity ft. The Sweet Apple who just wants one good day, the Posh Clock who secretly cares about the apple, and the laidback pumpkin who has one brain-cell and eldritch powers.

So I got sucked up into the AAF fandom due to some emotional issues with college and it’s helping a bit after looking into the fanarts and ideas.

This AU is basically a mix of my own ideas and @sir-subpar where once Thomas’ family and the entity leave the game and the characters are somewhat back to their normal selves, and Peter has nothing to do but just exist.

Points in this AU: 

- No one forgot about what had happened. But Andy was the tormentee of it all. So, he began to distance himself from his friends, working more in his farm and communicate little.

- Margaret, Felix, and Melody were aware that Andy’s not around much, but it was Claus who noticed Andy avoiding everything and had regrets about his previous actions. 

- Andy found Peter relaxing under a tree and at first was scared of him, only to let him live and work with him as he had no place to go to.

- Peter gets along with Andy’s friends like a laidback uncle figure who gives either good advice or the chaotic options. He also has the entity’s powers but it’s only when necessary or to freak people out.

- Peter and Andy do get along as they help each other around the farm, Peter does the heavy work and lets Andy do the rest.

- Claus gets a bit jealous of Peter because he was Andy’s best friend first and he wants him back.

There is more to this AU’s story but that is all I could share for now due to college...

I finally finished this lineup for Andy's Apple Farm! From the left to the right, we have: Andy, Felix, Melody, Margret, Claus, Peter, Parole [OC], Baylee, and Isabella! Yeah I wrote their names down for me sake lol

Below the cut is a shorter lineup to showcase the 10 different designs/redesigns I made over 3 days and other funny wips since they can all look a bit crowded on one drawing,,, in a separate post I may include transparent versions of each individual design because I drew each one separate of one another so I might as well show them each in their complete details :)

Chapter 1 - (Re)Union

Part I

"Andy?"

Andy spun when he heard that as he went past the forest trees. They were tall and bare, their leaves completely gone. There was snow resting on the tall branches that threatened to fall from the slightest shake.

He stood still, listening carefully.

"Andy!"

He turned and followed the sound, made sure to walk on the path as well. When he heard the call once again, his walking turned into running.

And he finally found him at the edge of a small cliff, far enough to cause serious damage.

His back was facing him as he yelled his name out once again, then let out a puff of impatience and turned around, only to jump when noticing Andy.

"Andy? Andy, jeez, you gave me a start." He took deep breaths and straightened up.

"Well, it's a good think we found each other, and- what? What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost."

Andy's eyes were on his companion's feet, which were dangerously at the edge. And right when Andy opened his mouth to reply, he slipped.

Andy immediately ran to catch him. But it was too late.

Distressed shouting, snapping branches, and a fatal fall to the ground. Stunned, Andy stood, then simply sunk onto his knees, tears threatening to spill from his eyes.

"…Sammy?"

Andy's House, Apple Acres

RING RING

Andy immediately snapped back to reality when his cell phone rung, realizing that he was half asleep when he'd intended to close his eyes just for a moment on his bed. Sitting up and rubbing his tired eyes, he grabbed the phone and accepted the call without any interest of conversing with anyone.

"…Hello?" He said in the most tired voice he's ever heard.

"Hi, Andy, it's me, Margaret! Sorry for calling you on an unknown number, my phone isn't working well these days."

"Yeah, sure, okay. What is it?"

"There's something I want to ask- well, two things. First off, how are you?"

"…I'm… fine. Yeah, I'm fine."

"You're a terrible liar, Andy. You know you can talk to me and Felix, right?"

"Yeah, I know that."

There was a slight pause, only to be broken by Margaret.

"Nevermind that, I was also wondering if you would like to join us at the Fun Faire. Felix figured that it would give you a boost."

"Uh, I don't know-"

"I'll pay for your ticket."

"Oh, cheers."

Laughter rang out for a brief moment. "I'm assuming that's not the reason why you hesitated, huh?"

"No, of course not."

"Well, I'll see you there at four?"

"Yeah, sure. Of course."

"Great! B-"

But Andy hung up before she could even finish.

Fun Faire, Apple Acres

Margaret stood quiet for a moment, then let out a sigh.

"Bye, Andy."

More random questions (I’m so sorry 😭) So I guess Leo and Mikey were really young, especially since Mikey doesn’t remember his family, but how young were they? How the heck did they survive so young?? Do they lean into their turtle traits a bit more? Probably a silly question but- how do they speak English? (Based off of your initial pic you posted, they’re talking to Splinter.) Did they go to the surface and pick up the language? Before that, did they talk to each other in their own made-up language? I guess it depends on my previous question- how young they were when they were abandoned. Since if Mikey was (theoretically) too young to speak, but Leo could speak a bit, I figure that Leo would lose the language. Without your answer, I’m picturing Leo trying to retain his English language skills by talking to Mikey or himself but just…losing it, over time, since Mikey doesn’t talk back/responds better to turtle noises.

as for how old they were when they were abandoned, before answering I'd like to state that there is a bit more of an age gap between the 4, at the time of the abandonment Raph was 13 (he has terrible memory), Donnie was 12 (good memory), Leo was 8 and Mikey was 4. At the time Leo and Mikey didnt have that good of a vocabulary, Leo could put some small sentences and Mikey could say small words like "like, smell, hungry" ext. just enough to say his needs, they were abandoned on the surface because Splinter feared that Baron would find them and raise them against him, before Leo picked up on language via hearing and taught Mikey, they kind of had a secret language- they'd chirp and squeak and make sounds when they didnt know the words. Also they did find the "underworld" before their brothers (s1 e1) and perhaps. someone special

Angst Vent Idea: I’m after you, Andy’s Apple Farm Fandom.

So... This week didn’t start great and I am still upset about it. I just came across this fandom scrolling [don’t worry, I know about Andy’s Apple Farm, not a full fan tho.] and saw a lot of angst potential...

I WANT IN.

Here’s the idea:

Andy just...giving up. Like, after everything in the game happened because of what he [Thomas] did, he gave up.

The other characters were at first not bothered by this, even Peter the Pumpkin wasn't fazed, but it got on everyone's nerves as Andy was just emotionless and they got angry...but then concerned.

Besides Peter, who knew that Andy is "ripe for the picking"

Oh no. He won’t just KILL Andy/Thomas, that’s TOO Merciful.

Peter has already tortured him enough, he just got a puppet to play with for eternity who'd be so emotionlessly playing the part that it's not even an act that could convince the other characters. 

They'll KNOW that he's not okay...despite his wide smile.

Would be amusing to see the gameplay show the characters reacting to Andy’s head being a png image of a real apple.

But I am also a sucker for happy endings to comfort all this, inspired by a fic I’ve read from @sir-subpar, I liked the idea that all the characters and the spirits possessing them are different entities and had a programed life before the Eastwood Incident, and once the souls are free, they’ll try to go back to what things were.

I’ve seen the ships, I like Andy x Claus and Andy x Peter (fairly questionable, I know). 

I can see Peter the Pumpkin being an entirely new character who was made by the demon and when the demon is gone, Peter doesn’t know what’s next for him but would work with Andy and help others with a smile.

And yes, I like to ship Claus x Andy x Peter

Fun fact(s) about the SM! AU:

All the members of Peter's gang are based on different forms of the entity, albeit somewhat loosely.

- Peter is, well, Peter.

- Colin is based on the eyes from the barn minigame, y'know, because green eyes and completely invisible in the dark, like a black cat,,

- Scarlett is based on. Whatever the fuck this this is.

Too many eyes. Probably long spindly limbs if the visuals were more detailed. Creepy af.

As the game progresses, I'm probably gonna add more entity-based characters into the AU! Most likely not in Peter's gang tho, bc I'm already happy with how they've turned out.
