I think he probably has a preference for women but definitely finds men attractive too.

He didn’t realise until he was a little older but he struggled to find a good time to come out when he was more comfortable.

The first person he came out to was Maddie because she raised him and was always the person he trusts most in the world. Maddie was incredibly supportive of him and always tries to look out for him.

The first person he told in the 118 was Bobby because he sees him as a dad and feels safe around him. Bobby was really supportive of him and doesn’t allow for any discrimination against Buck or the others. If someone is homophobic/biphobic towards Buck, Eddie, Chimey and Hen he’s ready to protect. (I see Chim as bi too)

He confided in Hen about being Queer because he knew that she’d understand more than anyone. She was really supportive and becomes even more protective of him after she finds out.

The main canon relationships that really meant something to him were Abby and Taylor. Even after everything he’ll always have a soft spot for Abby and I think that eventually the two would be able to meet up and be friends. I like to imagine an AU where Abby comes back with her fiancée and she and Buck become really good friends but it would also be funny if Abby and Eddie get along really well and Buck’s like “wait what” when they tease him.

His relationship with Taylor was a little awkward and they definitely weren’t right for each other at that point. If they’d both being in different places they might’ve worked. They both still care for each other but don’t work out.

He definitely had a crush on Eddie and felt extremely connected to him after he got over his jealousy when they first met. Both him and Eddie are bisexual and would be able to support one another and really understand each other even if they had different experiences.

When Chris found out he drew him a pride picture because he knows about his dad being Queer so he wanted to make something for Buck too.

I think that Buck and Eddie would definitely love each other a lot but both wouldn’t say anything because they don’t want to risk their friendship because that’s important to them too. I think eventually they’d realise that they love each other too much and their friendship wouldn’t change they’d just be going into a different kind of relationship.

At first his parents didn’t really understand but I like to think that after everything was said and the secrets were discussed they’d get to a point where they’d learn. Philip and Margaret learn to understand him and both Buck and Maddie would get to a point where they could heal and form better relationships with their parents.

He goes all out for pride once he’s out fully and sometimes decorates a part of his apartment with pride flags.

a/n: guys!!! i love this i can’t wait for a new buck in s7 :)) anyway, 1989 TV SO SOON GUYS WTF, it feels like yesterday was red tv 😧

the lightning had taken care of the other fires in buck. he was different, and he couldn’t tell if he hated it or loved it at first.

the man he was was reckless and like a shiny new toy for someone to play with. he allowed people to string him along and pull at his arms until he did what they wanted. it almost felt like his purpose, to be a prop for everyone else.

he thought y/n would leave him soon after the strike. everyone else liked to do the same thing. his parents giving up on him after his youthful mistakes, abby fleeing because he wasn’t enough for her, aly fearing her future with him. he thought y/n would crack under the pressure of almost losing someone like buck, now he hates himself for second guessing her.

he started to appreciate the smallest things in his girlfriend. the softness of her words, the light reflection of sun in her eyes, the cotton-like skin on her hands as they grazed over it. he almost didn’t want to face her after the accident, but she was clutching onto his hand when he woke up. and, there hasn’t been a day where she hasn’t reminded him that she’s going nowhere.

she knew bucks scars as she watched them all get handed to him. she knew how silently fragile he was. he could see it clearly in her as well, noticing each fear of hers and the love she’s pushed away. it was foreign to both of them, the tenderness of each other.

it’s been years since they began dating, and somehow every day is brand new with them. y/n doesn’t ever believe that buck has something to make up. but, he thinks so. he’s been spending years begging for love, and now he has it. now, he wants to show the world what he has after it tried to strip him of everything.

it doesn’t matter how long a shift was, when buck was back to work, every free moment was spent on her heels. he used to go through work, only looking around to see who maybe looked at him. now, he looks forward to see his girl waiting for him wherever he may be.

today was no different, y/n was stocking the engine full of brand new supplies from the new shipment. the trucks glazed red popped out from her perfect polishing on the sides.

“this truck looks almost as good as you,” buck whispers, placing his hand on the side of her waist, making her jump in place.

“and what are you supposed to be doing right now?” she teases back.

“taking it easy, like you and bobby told me!”

“so you come and flirt with your already girlfriend? professional hours baby, remember?”

“those are boring, though. i just want to take you home and never leave.” he sighs, placing his chin on her head.

“just a few more hours, i believe in you!” she encourages, making him smirk and land his lips on her cheek, running away like a little kid.

y/n stood with buck at the island of the kitchen, smelling over bobby’s new dishes that he had prepared for the team. he made several things for a feast amongst everyone, getting a well deserved break.

she could practically feel buck breathing on her neck as he peered over her shoulder. normally, someone doing that would be insufferable, but buck makes it seem normal. it makes her smile, knowing how close he always wishes to be.

“if i didn’t know any better i’d think you were conjoined twins.” chimney takes a turn at his own joke, trying not to laugh at himself. he gets a smile from y/n, but the fakest look you ever did see from buck.

“i’m gonna slap you and i hope it shocks you.” buck snaps back, half joking but also half annoyed as well. chimney takes his plate and scurries away.

buck makes two plates as y/n grabs them drinks from the fridge, moving over to place it in the seat next to her. before she can even think about sitting, buck slightly runs into her with his hip. he places the plates down perfectly on the mats before pulling her chair out. she gazes at him, noticing the cheesy grin on his lips. the team stops to notice his abruptness on pulling out her chair, and kissing her head as she sits.

as the dinner closes, and the sun dips lower, the calls come in slower. luckily, the shift is just ending, so it’s just buck and y/n left in the kitchen as she scrubs away at a bowl. he sneaks up behind her, grabbing a dish to dry from her.

“hi, honey,” he says, looking down at her.

“hi, buck,” she smiles back, noticing the excitement on his face just getting to be near her. “do you wanna talk?”

“about what?”

“i just want to make sure you’re okay, baby,” her kindness and concern comes through her angelic voice, buck almost getting distracted by the sound of her.

“i’m fine!” he replies. “just been thinkin’”

“we can talk about it if you’d like.”

“maybe later, i just can’t wait for us to go home together.” he dries the plate as y/n scoops them all up, buck wrapping his arms around her waist and tucking his face into her neck. he locks his fingers together and rests them on her belly. she just giggles, waddling over to the cabinet where she slides the dishes in. it would’ve been easier if she wasn’t like a tree to a sloth, but easier isn’t always for the best.

the car ride home in his truck was nothing less than romantic. his hand was rested on her thighs the whole time if it wasn’t on the gear shift or the wheel. she practically had to keep touching him somehow to make him keep his eyes on the road.

when the duo finally arrived at home, she looked over at buck and could tell how sleepy he was. his eyes told her everything, and she can read him like a book now that she’s admired him for so long. “hey, go shower and come back down here.”

buck agrees, taking a quick shower and changing into some more comfortable clothes. when he walks back down the stairs, he can smell the sweetener of his favorite tea wafting through the living room, as y/n sits down in her soft sweater and places the mugs on the couch. they’re matching LAFD mugs that y/n’s parents bought for them. she turned on reruns of new girl as she moved to grab a blanket from the basket, leaning against the arm of the couch.

“come on,” she sweetly curls his lips up at him, signaling for him to come lay with her. he happily obliges, going to sit between her legs on his side, the side of his face buried into y/n’s warm chest.

the tightness of her arms wrapped around him eases any weight of the day or stress on his body. he lets himself relax in her hold, knowing she’ll keep him safe from whatever might come his way next.

one of her arms is rubbing his back as the other cups his face as he appears to be intently watching the show, but he’s not.

he thinks of small y/n and buck mixes running around a small house in los angeles, the sun shining through the curtains early in the morning. he thinks of the smell of ice cream and the reflection of the moon on the windows as they get ready for bed. he thinks of a warm vacation with a shining rock on her ring finger.

“i can’t wait to see you in a big, white dress,” he mumbles into her shirt, smiling just at the thought of seeing her on a carpet, walking down an isle to greet him.

“what is going on in that mind of yours?” she teases, brushing her fingers through his hair.

“i just- i don’t want anyone else but you,” he begins. “you could’ve ran. you could’ve left me in the dark, but you didn’t. you’re the only person who hasn’t done that to me. i trust you, and i know you won’t. it’s my turn to show you that i’m here to stay, and that we’re forever.”

“listen,” she starts next, the clear adoration in her eyes. “i would lay on this couch, all day, every day, if it meant you’d come back to me. id do anything, and literally anything, to spend the rest of my life with you. im sorry for every other woman who can’t be with a man like you.”

he doesn’t know how to compete with sentences like that. it feels brand new, even though she tells him all the time. it feels different after the lightning strike. someone above tried so hard to ruin the best things he had going on, but he pulled through. he wants to think he’s strong on his own, but buck knows he wouldn’t be here if y/n wasn’t next to him. if she hasn’t picked up the pieces that everyone left behind, if she hadn’t taken the time to put him back together.

now, buck barely thinks of all the shit that’s happened to him. how could he, when the future is definite right in front of him? he used to just assume his life would be the same forever, but y/n’s flashlight guided him out of the cave he was in. he sleeps in her arms without a fear that she’ll disappear from him, and without a fear that things are out for him.

The darkness enveloped the four of you as you crept towards the main building, where the director's office was. Abby, taking the lead, signaled for the rest of you to follow. 

"Hurry your ass over here," Dina whispered harshly as she motioned for Ellie to pick up the pace.

Ellie, walking slower than the rest due to the pain in her ass, gritted her teeth in frustration. "I'm fucking trying!" she snapped back at Dina in a hushed tone. 

The four of you reached the window of the director's office. The dim moonlight illuminated the glass pane, casting shadows across the room. Abby motioned for everyone to crouch down, keeping out of sight. The building was eerily quiet, with only the faint sound of crickets chirping in the distance.

"Alright," she whispered, "We need to be quick and quiet. Once we're inside, find our stuff and…maybee grab anything else that looks fun."

Dina nodded eagerly, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "I’ve been eyeing this statue the director has.." she whispered back, her heart pumping with thrill. 

Ellie's brows furrowed in concern. "We can't just steal," she protested, "If we get caught, we'll be in even bigger-."

Dina let out an exaggerated groan, rolling her eyes. "Booo!" she exclaimed, throwing her thumbs down in disappointment.

Abby joined in, nudging Ellie gently. "Come on, El's," she urged. "One little souvenir won't hurt."

"Exactly," you chimed in, "If you’re going to risk it all to get those damn finger condoms, you might as well make it worth a while."

Ellie sighed, feeling outnumbered, “I hate it here.” 

Abby turned back to the window, her fingers reaching out to test the latch. With a silent click, the window slid open. She gestured for everyone to follow her lead as she slipped inside, her movements swift.

One by one, you each climbed through the window, careful not to make a sound. 

With a grunt, Ellie retrieved her lighter, flicking it on to provide more light. The warm glow spread across the room. 

As the light revealed the drawer, you all realized that it was now  locked. 

"Aw, shit," Ellie grumbled, scratching her head.

Dina crouched down to get a closer look, examining the lock. "Fuck, she must have put this on after she caught us," she muttered, her brows furrowed.

"It's a big-ass lock too," Abby remarked, tapping the metal with her knuckles.

"I think I can lockpick it," Dina said, her eyes lighting up.

You quickly rummaged through your hair and pulled out a bobby pin. "Here," you say, handing it to Dina.

"Ellie, give me more light," Dina instructed,  yanking Ellie's arm.

Ellie adjusted her position to shine the light more directly on the drawer. The beam of light flickered across the metal surface. With more light, Dina carefully inserted the bobby pin into the lock.

As Dina focused on unlocking the drawer, Abby's curiosity led her to explore the office. Her eyes landing on a nude statue nestled in the corner.

Abby's face lit up with excitement as she approached it. It was crafted from smooth, white marble, capturing feminine beauty in detail. The woman depicted had graceful curves, her pose seductive.

"Oh, fuck yeah," Abby murmured as she reached out to touch the cool surface of the statue. With a grunt, she lifted it from its place and carried it over to where the rest of you were gathered.

Ellie's eyebrows shot up in surprise as she watched Abby's. "What the fuck are you doing?" she questioned.

Abby set the statue down in front of the group with a grin. "Woaahh, No." Dina exclaimed, "I already called dibs on it.”

"But I found it, soo it's mine," Abby argued, crossing her arms.

Dina's eyes narrowed,. "But I fucking called dibs first! That means it's mine."

Ellie groaned. "Can we get our shit back first-” 

"El’s, you have no pussy to run to," Dina snapped, “Your finger bullshit can wait!”

Click-clack click-clack.

The sudden click of heels echoed, sending a jolt of panic through the four of you. Abby scrambled to pick up the statue, her hands trembling slightly as she tried to place it back in its original spot. Meanwhile, Dina, Ellie, and you hurriedly ducked behind the desk, your heartbeats pounding in your ears.

"Hurry up, Abs!" You whispered urgently, your eyes darting nervously towards the approaching sound of footsteps.

With a fumbling motion, Abby attempted to set the statue down quietly, but her nerves got the best of her, and it slipped from her grasp, crashing onto the floor with a loud thud. The noise echoed in the silent room, causing all four of you to freeze in fear.

"Ohhh fuckk…" Abby groaned under her breath, her eyes widening. 

The sound of approaching footsteps quickened, the clicking of heels grew louder and more urgent. 

Abby's heart raced as she frantically tried to pick up the fallen statue, her hands trembling with nervousness. But her efforts were interrupted by the sudden appearance of the nurse standing at the doorway, her expression a mix of surprise and confusion.

"Anderson?" the nurse asked, her eyebrows furrowing. 

Abby's mind raced, "Oh, uh, hey," she stammered, attempting to act nonchalant but failing miserably.

The nurse's gaze shifted from Abby to the statue on the floor, her confusion deepening. "What're you doing?" she questioned, stepping closer to get a better look.

Abby's heart pounded in her chest as she desperately tried to think of a convincing response. "Um, I-I was just looking...for..uh.." she trailed off.

The nurse made a move to enter the room, but Abby quickly stepped in her way, blocking her path. "Um, you! Yeah, I-I was looking for.. uh you," she blurted out, her words coming out in a rushed and jumbled mess.

The nurse raised an eyebrow at Abby's explanation. "You were looking for me... in the director's office?" Her tone suspicious. 

Abby felt a bead of sweat form on her brow as she realized the nurse wasn't buying her story. "Fuck um..." she muttered under her breath.

The nurse attempted to step past Abby once more, but Abby instinctively moved to block her again. "What is going on with you?"

Abby's mind raced as she struggled to come up with a response. "Nothing, it's nothing," she insisted, her voice tinged with nervousness. "Just... Can you go?"

The nurse's patience was thin, "What the fuck are you hiding?!" she demanded. 

A sudden sneeze echoed through the room, the nurse's suspicion escalated to a new level. Her eyes narrowed with accusation. "Are you screwing someone!?" she snapped, her voice sharp with disbelief.

Abby's heart raced but before she could respond, the nurse pushed past her, flicking on the light switch. "No, no, no!" Abby protested, reaching out in an attempt to stop her.

But it was too late. The nurse stood at the desk, her eyes widening in shock as she took in the sight of the three of you hidden behind it.

Dina's nervous wave only seemed to intensify the nurse's shock. She took a step back, her eyes wide with disbelief. "You were screwing THREE OF THEM!?!" she exclaimed.

The three of you scrambled to your feet, "I would fucking never.”  Ellie snapped , rubbing her sore ass from sitting on the floor for so long. 

Abby attempted to grab the nurse's hand,. "It's not what you think-"

But the nurse shook off Abby's grasp. She quickly made her way to the doorway, trying to exit the room, but Abby cut her off, still trying to reason with her. "Please, just let me explain-"

"I'm reporting all of you!" the nurse declared firmly.

"Fuck, you can't-" Abby began, but her words were cut off by a sudden thud. The nurse's grip on the doorframe loosened, and she collapsed to the floor, unconscious. 

"Oh my fucking god!" Ellie jolted, her eyes wide with alarm.

You swung a heavy book at the nurse, hitting her in the head. The three girls turned to look at you, their expressions shocked.

"What?!" you exclaimed defensively. "She was going to snitch!"

"Shit!" Abby cursed, dropping to her knees beside the unconscious nurse.

"We have to hide her!" Dina urged, scanning the room for a suitable hiding spot.

Ellie glanced at the clock, her heart racing with anxiety. "Guys, we need to fucking hurry! The director will do her checkup rounds soon!"

"Fuck!" Abby grumbled, frustration in her tone. "Okay, change of plans.” 

The three of you turned to look at Abby, "Me and Dina will hide the nurse and get our belongings," she instructed. She then turned to Ellie and you. “You two will have to start the fire."

"You're seriously pairing me up with sore booty?!" you groaned.

(I think my The Lion Guard fan that is also a HopKick shipper, know the reference lol)

Both are competitive and had a friendly-rivaly with each-other but from the inside it looks like they are in love with each other but they are TOO flustered to confess their feelings on each-other

Kickin always have a dream that Hoppy said that he is the best and he confess that she is the best, and when he wake up he sees that his mom and dad or the boys looking at him, and he gives they a good morning (i think y'all know the reference, specially my other friend that is also a HopKick fan lol)

when Hoppy said to a friend that her favorite season is autumn, Kickin listed and walks up blushing and said that is also his favorite season, and Hoppy was suprised... Hm...

Hoppy have Arachibutyrophobia (fear of peanut butter), so in a day when Picky or her dad asks her if she wants any food with peanut butter, Kickin says that she doesn't like any food with peanut butter

Hoppy secretly admires when Kickin is surfing, and Kickin always admires when Hoppy is skating

they both always tries to help each other, and also Kickin always tries to help Hoppy to go in the Moon

Kickin's Mom gives a gift for Kickin that is a sketchbook that he keeps under his mattress, that is just COVERED in doodles of Hoppy with tiny pink and red hearts all over the pages

in Valentine's Day, Kickin was going to ask to Hoppy want to be his gf, but he was too nervous to ask her, so DogDay, CatNap and Bubba helped Kickin on this and they turned his WingMen, Bubba teaches Kickin how to flirt and DogDay & CatNap got some gifts for he gives to Hoppy, so after he going to ask her with courage, and he did it!

During molting season Kickin gets insecure about his looks and thinks he looks ugly due to his lack of feathers and thinks that Hoppy won't like him anymore because he's "less attractive" but then Hoppy comforts him and promises him that she still loves him no matter what he looks like while cuddling him and getting soft kisses all over his face while reassures him, that she thinks that he still looks cute to her

they both are good on babysitting, when Picky and her parents are out she requests they to babysitter her youngest brother, JuniPiggy, when heis sleeping, they play some games, watch a movie or any series/TV shows and/or also sleeps. This is same thing with Bobby and her youngest sister

when they had any nightmares, they always comfort each-other, and ofc Bobby found it cute

Darkness/Kano: A legendary sorcerer from the dark side of the moon who can turn people into his own shadow slaves and has been after Shlorpians for a long time. He was return to life as Kano, a mysterious fire bending vigilante until he was finally killed off for reals thanks to Cheery’s other half and late love interest, Naomi. He even manipulated Qourra into turning against her fellow people as an exchange for revenge for her mother.

Lá Smaragdus: A jewel-themed super villainess who was once a Latino tv star, until her salary was cut and she was fired from her show. Her powers are turning people into diamond statues and making minions out of rare gems.

Screech: A muscular super villain with the power of brutal strength that can tear apart objects and innocent people.

Platinum Belt: A manipulating spiritual cyborg controlling a superhero named Blue Belt, and is known to manipulate innocent bystanders by taunting them over their issues and fears and their flaws.

Temptra: A robot disguised as a gorgeous platinum southern-accent woman created by Platinum Belt to tempt people into their own temptations, which ended up failing badly when she suffers the wraith of Qausarblast.

Sun-Yi: An evil young ninja after an ancient artifact known as the Blue Heroin and is revealed to be Blue Belt’s rival.

Piedro Blobsmith: An obese mafia boss in charge of a dangerous alien slime food company that causes aliens, including Shlorpians to become morbidly obese and the size of blimps. His main victims are Korvo and Terry aka Qausarblast and Mighton.

El Minotaur: An evil warlord and nemesis to the Resistance who is after Earth-4 by building for fortress for when he kidnaps innocent bystanders so he can brainwash them into his soldiers.

Mindreader: A villain that tortures people through their minds and send them on weird bizarre trip in the Forbidden Zone.

Simon/Tarantula Boy: A super villain teenager with the powers of a tarantula that can turn into mindless zombie army.

Zahmara Python: A famous well-known evil bounty hunter alien woman who hunts down and kills innocent aliens.

Morlak: An evil sorceress who believes in the power of darkness and sees love and family as nothing. Her powers is to make people give into their own fears and turn them into monsters.

Spirala: A teenage villainess with the power to turn teenage girls into Lust-themed zombies and also turns teenage boys into her own love-blinded slaves.

Zeus: A crook that wants to drain people’s energy for his own powered machine that can make the world entirely dark.

Candy Bitch: A cute but evil and bratty super villain based on candy sweets that has candy-themed powers, including shooting Starburst Fruit Candy slime from her hands.

Rock Fraud: A former rockstar who lost their career after it was revealed that they were lip singing this whole time. They now have the power to steal people’s voices, so they can use it for evil purposes.

Moral Blade: An evil shadow woman with the power of turning people into their worst dark selves and turning them rebellious.

Dreamweaver: A robot that turns people away from real life and put them into their own fantasy worlds from their own dreams, or worse… nightmares!

Merissa: A rogue witch who wants revenge on the human witches of Earth-4 for kicking her out because of her jealousy over newcomers and for turning her son against her.

GeenaDavisTron 4000: A robot built to help struggling students as school, but then rebels and malfunctions into a war machine after labeling humans and the Solar Opposites imperfect beings.

Empress Ophelia Darkstar: An evil empress from the planet Emeralddon that hunts down aliens for their own life sources for her corrupted planet.

Impulse: A super villain with a huge amount of blood pressure that causes her to attack citizens with passive-aggressive behavior and is very dangerous to be around with when it comes to very strong emotions.

La River Bestia: The swamp monster of Earth-4’s Swamp Forest who is revealed to be a young deranged scientist turn into a monster by his own troubles.

Magnesium: A villain who turns out to be a former head of the Bowenian Church that is revealed to be Sister Sisto’s apprentice and is after Pezlie.

Macromanser: Once a famous wrestler woman named Alya Sparks, she is a now a monstrous strong woman bent on crushing people with her own savage strength.

Pinball Brat: A teenage super villain based on a pinball machine that traps people in her house size pinball machine and makes them play the game.

Madame Luna: A witch villainess that was a former meteorologist that has powers based on the moon.

The Rose Triplets: Madame Luna’s manipulative minions who are colored in different shades of rose and are good acrobats.

Qourra- A former water bender who goes rogue and tries to blood bend people for revenge on the death of her mother. Only for her to caused an Unwitting Instigator of Doom which led to the arrival of the Silver Spades.

The Silver Spades- A villainous team of dangerous silver-shaded multi-colored villains that blew up Earth and are actually apprentices and allies of the Silver Cops that are after the Solar Opposites once they heard about their arrival on Earth and later Earth-4. The members are Maverick, the silver-green leader who is determined to take down the Mighty Solars, Loo-Loo, the silver-yellow member with the power of dangerous lightning, Bullet, the silver-purple member with strength powers that rivals Mighton’s, Zelda, the silver-red member with the power of lava and Aqua, the silver-blue member with the powers of controlling water.

Carl Rockwell: A dangerous most wanted criminal that is going after the Mighty Solars’ allies.

Dr. Van Gurbin: A scientist that tested on steroids but was kicked out of his college for testing it on innocent people. Now he is gonna use Mighton’s strength for revenge.

Sister Sisto/Black Mirror: A returned foe from the Wall, who has been revived as a super villain of dark magic and mind control.

RUTH: An evil AI assistant who is red and AISHA’s evil counterpart created by Sister Sisto. *Her voice actor is also Eden Espinosa*

Anthony/Sand Beast: A rogue Wallian who develops the power of sand and moon sand, and has the ability to turn into a monster.

Lava Master: He was originally a teenage boy who is Mark’s former crush has gone rogue and became a villain that turns into a lava monster.

The Nega-Alexes: The Solars’ snobby neighbors from “The Educational Sprinkler Device” who became super villains after forming an alliance with the Silver Cops.

The Thunder Silvers: Lonesun, Glorgax, Ventrez and Pobo, who are now super villains after being exposed for framing Glenn by Quasarblast, Silver Knight and Lightning Wing.

Stephen/Beast Man: A rogue Wallian who now has the power to command dangerous carnivorous humanoid beast minions that were once humans.

Four Years Later... 

The playoffs this year have been exhausting. Frank was used to it but now, he had one more reason to be home.  The world series would start next week for the Dodgers.  It was their second bid in four years and Frank felt like this was their time.  Johnny was pitching better than ever and the team that Dave and Todd had put together was golden.   

As he drove home in his beloved Camero, he thought back on how he ended up here.  

The trial for Mike Weiss was long and exhaustive. Mike faught to the bitter end, continuing to claim that he only kidnapped Mary to speak to her, get to know her, since Frank and Abby had forbade him from coming close to his family.  The law was on their side, as Diane provided testimoney of Mike’s obsession in destroying the Adlers from way back to when Frank and Abby first started their relationship.  It had been a 20 year obsession that had catipulted him delusions.  

Unfortunately, Mike never saw a day of his sentence.  Frank was disappointed in how Mike ended up taking his own life from an accidental overdose after finding out the guilty verdict. They had given him one week to set up his affairs. Frank didn’t want the man to die but Mike couldn’t live with the idea of going in sober and clean.  The “friend” that found him said he wanted one more party before he went inside.  Was it accidental?  No one will ever really know beside the man who had been Frank’s best friend for 15 years.  

Diane was a better story.  After staying for for treatment for a year, Diane was sober and in her right mind.  She had visited with Frank and Mary once, before moving to Maine with her boyfriend.  She told Frank that she would never contest custody and hoped to maintain an “auntie” sort of relationship with Mary.  Abby couldn’t bring herself to face her again.  She had gotten her answers and forgave her former friend.  But she set down the law: her future children would not have a relationship with their aunt. Frank respected her decision. 

Bobby Fuller was banned by the league after their investigation into him found his drug use and his collaboration in helping Mike.  At the insistence of Frank, the district attorney did not press charges against him. Frank decided losing his passion, his career was punishment enough.  they never spoke again.  

A year after the loss of the world Series, Johnny decided to propose to Katie, at Christmas, on Dodger Field.  Frank had been right that he would propose, all be it, a year later than he thought.  But Katie had a surprise for him after she said yes.  She was pregnant, with twins.  Sam and David Storm joined the family at the beginning of June the following year.  

Susie had made an honest man out of Marco in the summer after the first world series.  They bought a house in the same neighborhood as Frank and Abby.  Susie was honored after her discovery of a new star in the sky.  Marco still worked as security for the Adlers, especially after Abby decided to resign as medical director for the Dodgers.  She went to take over as  Chief of Staff at USC.  The hours changed so security for the children had to be updated as well.  

Scott and Steve married after dating for three years.  Frank stood as his best man and signed their marriage certificate.  Luckily, the Adler property had a small house in the back that Scott turned into a home for them.  Scott stayed on as the nanny, not wanting to separate from his godchildren.  Steve was so understanding and was happy to be honored as the kid’s second godfather.  

Frank smiled as he drove down the familiar street.  The leaves were starting to turn and the air in California finally started to have a chill in the mornings.  He was looking forward to an early morning coffee with his Cricket on the balcony before the kids woke up.  Mary was still working on her science project, a fully functioning telescope from scratch.  The now 14-year-old was in college level science, a brain box just like her mothers.  Susie loved having a prodigy to work with.  She still went to a normal school but twice a week, Susie would take her to her college classes as her guardian and professor.  

Turning into the driveway, Frank groaned at the toys all over the yard. “Dammit Mary,” he muttered.  She had just a few responsibilities at the house, and one was to make sure all of the toys were put away for the night.  He looked at his watch.  It was just past eight.  He grabbed his bag and headed into the house.  

“Hello, hello!” He called out.  

“Daddy!!” 

A streak of dark curls rushed at him.  He crouched down and caught three-year-old Lorelei in his arms.  

“Hi princess,”he said as he hugged and kissed his daughter.  

“Daddy, you were ever and ever,” she pouted.  

“I know princess, but I’ll be home for a few days.  Uncle Johnny and Auntie Katie are coming over tomorrow.”  

“Yay!!!” She hung on to his neck as he stood up to see his Mary walking over. “Hey Nugget.”  

“Hey dad!” Mary hugged him hard. “That was an awesome play yesterday.”  

“Thanks.  But you’re in trouble.” Mary looked at him confused. “The toys?”  

“Oh, cr-,” she stopped, “crazy,” she said, looking at her sister. “I’ll take care of it right now.”  She darted out the door, Dodger on her heels after getting a pat from Frank.  

“Hey Frankie.”  

Frank turned to see his girl, his Cricket walking over to him, holding their eight-week-old son, Anthony, in her arms.  “Hi Cricket.”  He put Rory down and took his son in his arms. “Hey little man.” He kissed his forehead and was rewarded with a sleepy yawn and a blink of his ocean blues.  “He’s bigger.”  

“Went for his checkup yesterday,” Abby said. “He’s at 12 pounds now, growing like a weed.”  

Anthony had been born four weeks early and was just under six pounds when he was born, but healthy.  He had an appetite like his dad, which Abby complained about at the 3 AM feedings.  

“I’ve missed you guys.” Frank pulled Abby close and kissed her softly.  

“We missed you.”  Abby took his hand and guided him to the counter. “I thought you would be earlier, and I made dinner.”  

“Sorry baby, the flight got delayed on the tarmac and I had no signal.” Frank sighed.  “Whatcha make?” 

“Lasagna.” Frank groaned as Abby's lasagna was second to none. Abby smiled. “I’ll cut you a piece.”  

“You’re the best Cricket.  I should marry you.”  

“Already did Frankie. Best decision ever.”  

“Without a doubt.” 

Later that night, as the house settled for the night, Abby laid Tony in his bassinet. She smoothed his blanket before kissing him goodnight.  Frank leaned over and kissed him as well.  “Sweet dreams, pal. Love you son.”  

Abby could never get over how sweet it was to watch Frank with all his kids. He helped with Mary’s homework, read stories to Rory and cuddled with Tony when Abby wanted to take a shower.  This man, this man that she met 20 years ago, was everything she ever dreamed of.  As they climbed into bed, Abby lay on Frank’s chest.  “You’re thinking really loud, Cricket.  What’s on your mind?” 

Abby chewed her lip for a moment before asking, “Are you happy Frankie?” 

“The happiest I’ve ever been.  Why do you ask?” 

“I dunno.  Lots of changes.” 

Frank sat up and pulled his wife onto his lap.  “Cricket, winning you back, having our family, it's like beating the throw and sliding into home.  It’s a high that I am so happy I get to live with you.”  

Abby melted at his sweet words. “I love you so much Frankie.”  

“And I love you, Cricket forever and ever.” He kissed her softly.  “Need some help getting to sleep?” He smirked.  

“Always.” Abby giggled as Frank flipped her onto her back, pulled the blanket over them and they sighed.

Abby sucks in a deep breath, feeling her lungs expand in her chest, and blows the air back out through her nose.

She’s dreaded this moment since she left his penthouse on Friday night–satisfied but terrified that she’d let herself go so far with him. 

She’d wanted to, though. She had begged him not to stop, and he hadn’t. 

She takes the last few steps down the corridor and pushes the door to her office open. The door to his office is open and as she passes on the way to her desk, he lifts his hand in greeting.

Abby’s phone almost slips from her hand when she stops in front of her desk.

On it, where her keyboard usually sits, is a big white box with a black ribbon double wrapped around it. Her brows draw together as she puts her phone and purse down near the edge of the desk and examines the box. It’s practically weightless and there’s nothing on the outside to tell her what could be inside.

She watches the ribbon unravel around the box when she pulls it, and lifts the lid slowly, finding creamy white tissue paper inside, but there’s no note. No hint to who could have bought this for her, but she can venture a guess.

The man who sits just a few paces away in his own office, doing who knows what on his laptop. She knows he can see her if he sits at just the right angle, and something tells her he’s found it.

With unsteady hands, Abby reaches for the tissue paper and opens it up. A small gasp leaves her lips at the beauty staring back at her, and she feels heat rush to her cheeks.

Her eyes dart around the room, checking for cameras she already knows aren’t there. She looks to the open door of her boss’ office. There’s no doubt in her mind that he’s the one behind this, the one who must have carefully picked out the steel blue lingerie sitting inside the box.

Returning her gaze to the box, her hands tremble as she runs her fingers across the delicate fabric. Mesh embroidered with velvet lilies in a shade that’s as close to his color as he could probably find. It’s a gift.

Fire courses through her veins at the implication.

She belongs to him now.

“Do you like it?”

Her head whips up and finds Bob leaning against the doorframe of his office.

“I…”

Whatever she wanted to say dies in her throat. 

“If you don’t, I can exchange it for something more suited to your taste.”

He pushes off the doorframe and is standing behind her in just three long strides. His hands land on her hips, the heat of them burning her skin through the black trousers.

“Sir, I can’t accept this.”

She expects his hands to still, expects him to retreat and admonish her for refusing such a beautiful and undoubtedly expensive gift, but he doesn’t. His hands hold on tighter to her hips as his lips find the exposed skin of her neck.

“Do you even know what it does to me when you call me that?” He purrs against her ear, making the small hairs at the back of her neck stand up. “What you do to me?”

She has to stifle a moan at the feeling of his soft lips pressing kisses right below her ear where her pulse races. His large hands move from her hips to her stomach, pressing her back against him. She feels his desire for her, setting her insides alight.

A moan passes from her lips. He’s everywhere, all over her, and her mind is hazy with the feeling of him touching her, kissing her, breathing her in.

There’s a voice inside her head screaming that this is wrong. That she’s getting into bed with the enemy, but a deep groan from Bob when she lifts an arm and grabs his hair, drowns it out. Makes it seem like it wasn’t even there to begin with. 

“You didn’t tell me if you like it or not,” he whispers, teeth nipping softly at the spot where her shoulder meets her neck.

“It’s stunning,” she says. “How did you know my size?”

Abby lets out a small yelp when he spins her around, bringing her face to face with his dark lust-blown eyes, traces of the crystal blue she’s so familiar with nowhere to be found.

His hands trail up to her face where his thumbs brush against her cheeks. “I’ve been thinking about you all weekend,” he says, voice low and husky. “Since you left my bed, my apartment.”

His thumb moves down to her mouth, and he drags the digit along her bottom lip. “My sheets smell like you.”

He leans down and kisses her lips. It’s soft, mouths moving in easy unison. A gentle dance.

He goes to pull away, but Abby wraps her arms around his neck and drags him closer, licking into his mouth. He takes a few steps until her ass meets the edge of her desk and the pen cup rattles at the force of it.

His lips leave hers, dragging down the column of her throat, leaving wet kisses in their wake.

“I know your size,” he groans as he reaches the top of her breasts. “Because no one can forget a body like yours.”

His fingers undo the top button of her shirt, revealing more of her breasts, and he sinks his teeth into the soft flesh.

Abby’s head swims with desire, her eyes closed shut to focus on the feeling of him. Her entire body is burning with need, and if someone couldn’t walk past the office and see inside, she would have let him continue his exploration of her skin.

“Sir,” she pants, heaving for breath. She pulls his hair to get him away from her chest, even though it’s the last thing she wants. Her body is screaming at him to keep going.

“Sorry,” he mutters, just as breathless as she is. “Couldn’t help myself.”

Her heart pounds as she reaches for his tie to straighten it out. “It’s okay,” she tells him and means it.

She turns back around to her desk. The box with the lingerie still sits open, and she reaches out for it, running her fingertips over the fabric again.

“It may be the most beautiful thing I’ve ever owned.”

“It would look even better on my floor after I take it off you,” he says against her earlobe, before pulling back and walking back to his office, closing the door behind him.

She pulls the chair away from the desk, sinking into the dark leather seat. Unresolved tension hangs in the air and her body feels electric.

She knows she’s in trouble. She came here with a job to do, but getting involved with the boss of a rival organization was definitely not in the job description.

hi omg thought of this while rewatching s2 ep3 with the earthquake but okay so there’s the little montage of everyone being happy and eddie running to christopher - but what if there’s something similar for buck? instead of him being with abby he’s dating reader and reader has a lowkey job (maybe librarian at an elementary school?) so when he gets home the first thing he does is yell for reader and then holds them and they both shed a few happy tears just talking about how happy they are that the other is okay.

buck was so sick and tired of watching everyone else have someone to run to. he hated having to see everyone in each others arms, watching a warm embrace ensue in front of him, just wanting it to be him instead. it was years on end of him watching kids with their parents, husbands with their wives, friends with their own friends. he always had the quick breakfast with a lay in bed, but he never had the long run of love that was supposed to come with it.

he thought his parents would be able to supply that love for him, but he must’ve been mistaken. they had no issue jumping out on every little thing in his life, nonetheless missing out on it. there was only so much love maddie could give, and he needed every drop of it. he thought maybe, someone mature like abby would come with the cherishing attitude to stay, but it left as fast as she did.

the earthquake had given a huge jumble to bucks brain, being able to save a bunch of people, but just wanted to go home at the same time. it felt selfish, and he hated himself for it, but how could he wish for anything else but just to be with y/n at home? he’s seen calamity and chaos the entire day, a constant strain of it into his shift. he’s seen death, broken bones, sobs, blood, anything that one doesn’t want to see. it took incredible pursuing to make bobby let buck take a break, but he could see he needed it.

he held his phone shakily in his hand, squinting over y/n’s name on the screen being darkened by the sunlight. he was nervous to even press the call button, not knowing if she’d be the one to pick it up, or an emergency responder who had her phone.

“hi, baby,” her sweet voice rang through the phone, leading him to sigh out and he couldn’t contain the light smile that formed on his lips. “are you ok?”

“i’m fine, i just wanted to hear your voice, make sure you’re ok.”

“we’re alright over here, there’s still kids here that need to get picked up, but they’re going pretty well with the evacuations.”

“i’m sorry i didn’t get over there, i got sent in the opposite direction.” y/n was working at the school on the other side of the city. buck was, of course, sent to work on the east side. he wanted to be able to save her, even if she wasn’t in trouble. he wanted to touch her so he knew she was breathing and alright, but he’d have to wait.

“don’t apologize, you’re doing amazing, buck,” she reassures him, letting his mind relax for a moment as she speaks to him. “go do your job, i’ll see you tonight, i promise.”

“i just want to see you.”

“i know, but you can in a few hours. do it for me, ok?”

“i love you, so much.”

“i love you, too, buck.”

the moment his fingers connected with the cold metal of the door, he instantly twisted it open to reveal the dim, yellowish lighting in his home. he felt like the introduction to his apartment felt like the ground stopped shaking. he was so excited to be able to rest, lay in his bed with y/n in his arms.

the thick soles of his shoes thumped against the ground as he threw his bags onto the floor. his shoulders instantly slumped and his feet automatically led to the stairs.

“hey,” y/n spoke, drying her hair with a towel to the side as it rested on her shoulder.

“hi.” he replied, slowly blinking his eyes.

“baby, you’re exhausted.” y/n steps forward down a few steps, standing a few inches taller than buck for once. her hands run over his shoulder blades, wandering over his skin and magically lifting the tension and stress from the earthquake.

“i know,” he says. “i just wanted you so bad today. there wasn’t a minute where you weren’t on my mind.”

“i’m here for good, buck. i’m not going anywhere, and i want you to get some rest.” she grabs his hand, pulling him up the steps and leading him to sit on the bed. he strips down to his boxers, leaving him shirtless as he puts on a warm hoodie that y/n handed him. he stops by the bathroom, washing his face as y/n prepares the bed for the two of them.

“i got you ice water, i left it on the nightstand.” y/n smiles softly up at him as he walks back in. “i turned the AC up, since you like it cold and i turned on the mattress heater.”

“you treat me too well, honey.”

“you did amazing work today, you deserve the treatment of a saint. come lay with me, please?”

“don’t have to ask twice.”

he crawls back into the bed as y/n dims the lights and turns their TV on. the white lights brighten their faces as he leans into her chest. his cheek rests right against the middle of her breasts, over her heart.

her arm is wrapped warmly around under his arm, the other hand rubbing his short hair. one of his legs lay between hers, his hands running against her sides. he breathes softly matching the rhythm of her, letting the noises of her gentle words and quiet noises from the TV lull him to sleep, allowing his deserving body to rest against the person he calls home.
