I love Stefania but I have no interest in watching/listening that podcast. Any chance you’ll do a recap of the highlights?
Sure...I just finished watching so this is what I took from it:
Says that it’s starting to sink in that it’s the series finale but also feels like they’re on hiatus and that when they’re supposed to go back in July that’s when it will probably really sink in.
They were supposed to film this podcast episode while they were still filming the finale but it was too hectic with them filming overnights and such.
After long days of interacting with people all day long she needs time to just be alone and recharge/watches Friends to wind down.
Stefania eats a lot of sweets on set (chocolate donuts) and then they started talking about broccoli for like 5 minutes because Stefania said she loves to eat broccoli and kale and healthier things when she travels because she’s eating all the sweet stuff on set lol
She said she’s not a good cook and didn’t inherit a cooking gene and only does it out of necessity.
Talks about transitioning from dance to acting and says that one day she just felt she was done and she loved dance, it was a great relationship but she’s ready to move on.
She started dancing when she was six because there was this drawing competition in school and the winner got free dancing lessons for a year and she drew a ballerina and won. Did ballet first but was bored and picked it up years later and did more modern jazz type dance.
A good portion is then spent of Gaby and Stefania speaking in italian because Gaby lived there for a while. They start to talk about an Italian tv show.
Jaina and Gaby pointed out that Stefania looks so comfortable speaking in Italian and so herself but Stefania said when she’s acting in Italian, she’s not comfortable and prefers to act speaking English because she has an accent with every language she speaks and she has a different inflection now when speaking Italian while acting.
North Africa is somewhere she wants to check off on her bucket list.
She prefers the grainy look to film/tv/photo and doesn’t like HD. Film makes it more poetic, dreamy, special.
Her digital camera she carries around is from the 90’s so the quality isn’t as sharp as pictures are today.
She talked about her episode that she directed and a lot of her ideas went hand in hand with the script like the scene where everybody was angry and so they then slammed the doors and create the rhythm to create more drama.
She talked about Zita Sempri and the meaning of ‘always a girlfriend, never a wife’ and how her mom taught her to always keep the freshness of when you’re first dating someone and to never give up your dreams/prioritize others before your own like women tend to do especially once getting into a marriage and that's something especially known for women to do in Sicily.
She says Jeff is super sweet with humans but loves to be the alpha with other dogs and gets aggressive and shows dominance when it comes to her stuff: food, treats, etc.
Biggest fears: losing loved ones, losing her health/getting injured. Then talks about how she booked Grey’s two days after she was in acting class crying about her accent thinking it was too limited and she wouldn’t get a juicy role. And the minute they got told Station 19 was cancelled, all the fears she had about her accent came back that she will never book a role again.  (ABC count your days for this)
They talk about the difference in fashion/style in Italy compared to the US and Stefania says she has a different closet for clothes she wears in Italy and it’s much more structured/fancy as opposed to when she’s in LA wearing t-shirt/jeans.
They talked about how social media makes everything feel more aware and rigid and like there’s a filter and you have to be careful what you post not to upset anyone and constantly have to edit and you’re less free, authentic, less yourself.
Stuck on an island and you could have three things: pizza, Jeff, something to drink (she mentioned bringing a water fountain lol)
Something people don’t know about her: she’s shy/reserved. It takes a while for her to open up to someone but once she does she’s more outgoing. She feels like a burden when opening up to someone so she has to make sure it will be well received/feels comfortable doing so.
What she’ll miss the most from Station 19: the people - cast, crew, human connection
What are you excited for in this next chapter? Not to talk about IVF and excited to talk about more stuff that’s more authentically in line with more of what her taste is and has become throughout the years. It has been incredible to play Carina and talk about the baby storyline and the struggles of it but she’s excited to tackle other things that are more true to her. She doesn’t want to have kids and for the past 3 years she has played a character who is desperate to have kids and she said it was beautiful because it was fun to connect with this different version of her and great to act out but she’s excited to act out some things that she does care about.
She’s working on some kind of story as a director but didn’t want to say to much about it and jinx it.
She took a pair of Carina’s pants from set but said she should have taken Carina’s lab coat.
Most difficult scene to shoot - Andrew’s death. Emotionally tolling, a lot of crying, exhausting.
If she could be in any tv show airing right now what would it be? My Brilliant Friend (Italian show) and she would have loved to be in the movie 7 pounds
She tends to lean more towards drama but would love to do comedy things as well. They talk about how she can pretty much cry on cue and can just think about all the shitty things that have happened to her and it comes instantly. She does a lot of emotional scenes/has to cry a lot.
Espresso or English Tea? Espresso
Sicily Beaches or Hollywood Hills? Sicily beaches
Art museums or Theme parks on a day off? Art museums
Dinner at home or Dinner out? Out
Gelato in Milano or Fish and Chips in London? Gelato
Pizza or Pasta? Pizza on pasta
Tennis or PIckleball? Tennis
Travel to the past or future? The present
Saving lives in the ER or on the field with firefighters? ER
Station 19 or Grey’s Anatomy? no answer
She’s on Instagram and off Twitter for good, her therapist told her to. (And that’s literally all that was said about that and then it ended)

Scottish boxer and WBC world flyweight champion Walter McGowan was born on October 13th 1942.
Born in Burnbank on 13th October 1942, Walter started boxing at just 9 years old, he was noted for his brilliant footwork in the ring.
McGowan won the Amateur Boxing Association (ABA) flyweight title in 1961 and became British and Commonwealth flyweight champion by beating Jackie Brown in Paisley on 2 May 1963, aged 20.
He became world flyweight champion in June 1966 with a victory over Salvatore Burruni at the Empire Pool in London.
Fans who didn’t travel to London watched the world title win on the big screen at the former ABC Cinema in Keith Street, Hamilton. He had fought Burruni for the European title in Rome in 1964, but the Italian retained the belt after benefiting from what many fight fans considered a `home-town’ decision.
Walter returned to Hamilton the next day to be welcomed by fans carrying placards saying `welcome home, champ’.
The first thing he did was to visit his mother, who had been ill, and then show the world championship trophy to the “jubilant men, housewives and schoolchildren” who had gather outside his Burnbank gym to acclaim one of Scottish boxing’s greatest achievements.
Brave Walter lost the title in the same year to Chartchai Chionoi and failed to regain the crown in 1967 in a re-match with the Thai.
Dad-of-two Walter retired from the fight game in 1969 and went on to help train other boxers and run a pub, the Fly Wait, in Carluke.
Walter was inducted into Scottish boxing’s hall of fame in 2002, prompting this fulsome tribute from Jim Watt, the Glasgow fighter who held the world lightweight title between 1979 and 1981.
Jim said Walter had the distinction of holding five major crowns: British, Empire and World flyweight titles, and British and Empire bantamweight titles.
“You would have been glad just to hold one of those titles,” said Jim. “But Walter had everything; he was good on his feet and threw all the punches.
“Walter was a genuine world class fighter. Today, the term ‘world class’ has been diluted because of the way the game has gone.
“But in Walter’s era, even to fight for a world title was an achievement, never mind winning one.
“And remember that Walter won the world title and then lost it as a result of an injury. And injury apart, he would probably have gone on to establish himself as a great world champion.”
Walter McGowan passed away at Monklands Hospital, in 2016 aged 73, he had been in poor health in his later years and was living in a nursing home in Bellshill.

Ukraine Conflict Being Fueled By Empires – Pope Francis
The interests of several countries, not just Russia, are driving the hostilities, the pontiff said
Tumblr media
Pope Francis © Getty Images/Michael Campanella
Russia is not the only “Empire” whose interests are driving the conflict in Ukraine, Pope Francis said in an interview with Swiss television RSI, set to be released on Sunday. Excerpts from the interview were published on Friday by several Italian outlets.
Asked about the ongoing conflict between Moscow and Kiev, the Pope noted that it had grown into a “World War” where “The Great Powers Are All Entangled.”
“The Battlefield is Ukraine. Everyone is Fighting There. This Makes Industry Think of Weapons,” The Pontiff Commented.
He mentioned that on the second day after Russia launched its military offensive against Ukraine, he went to the Russian embassy and offered to travel to Moscow to personally negotiate with President Vladimir Putin. However, he said he was told by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov that it was “not the time.”
The pontiff stated that Putin knows that the option to negotiate peace is always available, but acknowledged that there are “Imperial Interests” at play in the Ukrainian conflict, and “Not Only of The Russian Empire, But of Empires Elsewhere.”
“It is The Empire’s Business To Put Nations Second,” Proclaimed The Pope.
Francis has repeatedly called for a peaceful end to the hostilities that have gripped Ukraine over the past year. However, after suggesting that the conflict was “Perhaps Somehow Either Provoked or Not-prevented” and that there is an “Interest in Testing and Selling Weapons” at play, the Pope did point out that he is not a supporter of Putin.
“It would be simplistic and erroneous to say such a thing,” insisted the Pontiff in an interview in June, adding “I am simply against turning a complex situation into a distinction between good guys and bad guys, without considering the roots and self-interests, which are very complex.”
The Pope made similar remarks in an interview with Spanish paper ABC in December, where he also suggested that “war is being waged when an empire begins to weaken. And when there are weapons to be used, tested and sold. The stakes are high.”
Moscow, meanwhile, has repeatedly described the conflict in Ukraine as a “Proxy War” being waged against it by the US and its allies. Putin has pointed out that the West is now seeking a global conflict, with some NATO officials openly calling for the “strategic defeat of Russia.”
He has also pinned the blame for the Ukraine conflict on Kiev and its Western backers who started the war against the people of Donbass in 2014. He noted, however, that although Russia “Did Not Start the Military Activities,” it is now trying to end them.

Embracing my radical optimism, I fulfilled this prompt my friend gave me with a Wikipedia poem. On sea, on space, on finding our way. Of will, love, and unyielding determination to persist. People so tender and so whole, still. Who couldn't love you? Who couldn't want you like the sea yearns to love her stars? We are afloat and I love you.

Nico’s ABCs
Him, I whisper fondly as I try to not replicate the Solangelo’s ABCs (spoilers)
Pairing: Nico di Angelo x reader Request: No Warnings: A few mentions of past trauma, because it is Nico after all. Word count: 2.1k
- Asja
Tumblr media
Activities - What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?
Going on basic dates in the outside world, getting used to the ‘future’. Nico has already had a lot of experience in the world, but only as a demigod and never as a teen. Tell him where to go and he will get you there, with some detours sometimes.
Beauty - What do they admire in their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?
Your determination to go on for so long. Life isn’t easy and he admires the fact that you’re resilient still, even after what your life has thrown your way. He loves how you have passions, or hobbies and how he is a part of your life.
Comfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?
He wouldn’t exactly be clueless on what to do - but he wouldn’t know how to act either. He will talk to you, get you somewhere private and for from there. He is very good at picking up when things are off and he often knows what’s coming before you do. This means that he will take care of you before you figured you needed it. If you need space he grants it to you too, because he understands the need to be alone more than any other person.
Dreams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?
Your past doesn’t define your future - but it does matter. Nico hasn’t had a good past, and that’s and understatement, so he is scared of what the future will hold. Rather than thinking of dreams and going forward he wants to be here, and go from there. He first needs to close old wounds before being able to form dreams, so he doesn’t picture the future further than tomorrow.
Equal - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?
In terms of togetherness you both are equals, however you need to take the lead in dates and touch. Nico doesn’t have the need to be close in proximity with other people, but he finds calmness in being close with you. He fears he might scare you away or hurt you one day and therefore doesn’t initiate a lot, so you need to be a bit more dominant that way.
Fight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?
Grudges are something the son of Hades will hold. If you fight and it is your fault, he will need time to warm up to you again. Do put in effort though, because he won’t try anything out of himself. If it’s his fault that you’re fighting, he will still need time, but guilt then comes in. He might come up to you one day, and very quietly say that he’s sorry, and why he is sorry.
Gratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?
Nico is often hyper aware of where you are in his vicinity and what you’re doing. He might not always say it, but he appreciates the times you take care of him when he can’t. He is very grateful for your existence and you putting up with him, and this he does tell you every so often.
Honesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?
This boy has never been able to trust anyone really in his life. His whole story is a secret and you may only know the general lines of it. He just finds it really hard to share and is still working on it, so he will keep stuff from you. Nico doesn’t know how to share what he wants to, and he really wants to, but he has been hurt enough and doesn’t want the same thing to happen to you.
Inspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?
Being with you has urged Nico to get better mentally. He has a ‘Therapist’ (Mister D.) which he talks to and he tries to take care of himself more now. He wants to heal, and leave his past but it is hard. You will need to be there for him, but you will also need to draw the line when it gets too much. You are his significant other, not his therapist, and he knows that and respects it. Help him heal and get through the day.
Jealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?
Nico won’t like it if you don’t spend much time with him, but he is not possessive of you. He knows that you are his own person, and he too needs time off from relationships some days. Don’t expect him to get all cuddly because you ignored him, because he will just assume that you needed time to yourself and respect that.
Kiss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?
Kisses are not Nico’s forte. He might kiss your forehead or cheek, but if you want to kiss him on the lips you need to take your time. Nico often asks if he could kiss you before doing so when he initiates the act. The first kiss was after a date, you just got back and Nico was tired from shadow travelling. His tired mind went ‘I wish I could kiss you,’ and apparently so went his voice, because you told him he could, softly pressed your lips together after which Nico rested his head on your shoulder and promptly fell asleep.
Love Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?
The feelings would’ve been festering for a while now, and Nico was very aware about them. But he wouldn’t confess, scared of losing what you already had together. You will have to ask him on a date, and he will agree on it.
Memory - What’s their favourite memory together?
Resting together underneath a tree, in the shadow. You were ranting about something - he can’t recall what - and the way your eyes showed your passion made him so soft inside. He got lost in your words as kept going, and for a moment it was just normal. Two teens, on a date, talking and listening. He smiled softly and let you lead the way with your speech.
Nicknames - What do they call their s/o?
Nico will come up with some snarky nickname, but then you know (affectionate). In other times, when he is more tired he might mumble words in Italian, which you figure are very affectionate towards you too. Don’t expect him to use nicknames when other people are around, because he won’t.
On Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?
Butterflies in his stomach is the only thing making him aware of his feelings and he hides it. People aren’t aware that he likes you, because the lingering gazes aren’t long enough to be noticed and no one sees his eyes long enough to seem them go soft when you are there. When you both start dating it gets progressively more obvious, but sometimes you have to tell people you are dating before they see it.
PDA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?
Hand holding is the furthest he would go in daily PDA. Holding each others pinkies perhaps too. As much as he hates to admit it, he doesn’t want to be seen as ‘soft’ in the public and therefore will hardly show love in public too. He might say ‘Love you.’ real quick as a bye if he feels like it, but that’s how far that goes.
Quirk - Some random ability they have that’s beneficial in a relationship.
Nico’s shadow travelling is a blessing. You both are easily able to sneak out of camp without being caught and can often go on dates for that matter. Do give him his rest though, by letting him sleep when you get back.
Romance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?
He is romantic in the sense of - he doesn’t know better than to be a gentleman in a relationship. Romance is not important to him in a way some may want, he would much rather have a good bond and go from there. First you were friends, and then you were dating, and both times are good times.
Support - Are they helping their s/o achieve their goals? Do they believe in them?
Nico has a lot going on for himself, but he will try to be supportive and realistic. If you rant to him about what you’re trying to achieve, he will try to give you advice, although it’s not always good advice. If you tell him what he could do to help, he will try to. If you’re struggling he will ask how he can help, if he can, but he understands the importance of achieving your own goals too.
Thrill - Do they need to try out new things to spice up your relationship? Or do they prefer a certain routine?
A break is what Nico needs, not a thrill. You two easily settle for the routine camp gives you and have outings together every other week. Nico needs stability for once in his live, and if you can grant it he will be forever grateful.
Understanding - How well do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?
Bad feelings are more Nico’s forte than good ones. If something’s up with you he will know and act accordingly, but if you’re happy he is slower to pick up on why. Nico is a very closed off person and finds it hard to trust people and share his story, so don’t feel hurt when he doesn’t tell you stuff.
Value - How important is the relationship to them? What is it’s worth in comparison to other things in their life?
It’s not easy for Nico to get attached to someone and to built a relationship with anyone - whether it’s platonic or not. Therefore, when he does get a relationship he would be very dependent on it and value it above most other things in his life. He may not show it, but you matter more to him than he would like to admit.
Wild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon.
He talks about you a lot to his friends. If he visits Hazel, she suddenly knows everything. If Jason asks how Nico has been, it only takes 2 minutes for him to go to you as a subject of conversation. He can’t really help it, because you’re often on his mind and then he just wants to talk about it.
XOXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?
Contrary to popular believe, Nico isn’t touch starved. Cuddles sometimes make him suffocate and kisses are just weird in the beginning. When he warms up to you sometime into the relationship, there will be more kinship but nothing over the top. You might cuddle while watching a move and forehead kisses happen more often but he won’t be an affectionate puppy suddenly. For Nico, words of affirmation are more important than touch.
Yearning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?
He will lay on his bed, look at the ceiling, and just yearn. If he really misses you he grabs a pillow and starts hugging it. Nico wasn’t aware on how much he needed your presence until it was gone, and now he just wants to see your face and a hug. He might forget to eat at this point, but as soon as you’re there he gets better.
Zeal - are they willing to go to great lengths for the relationship? If so, what kind of?
Nico would do anything for the relationship when it’s formed. Depending on if said things are actually possible to do or not, he will go through great lengths. He draws the line at sacrificing others for your relationship - you might matter a whole lot to him and he wouldn’t know how to deal with losing you but he can’t lose other people too.

Stephen King’s Favorite TV Shows According to His Twitter Raves
https://ift.tt/3qGUGDO
“NOW WE’RE SUCKING DIESEL! If you don’t get it, you missed a great series.” Stephen King’s recent discovery of British police thriller Line of Duty – as relayed via a series of highly enthusiastic Tweets – was a delight to witness. King’s zeal is enough to make UK fans wish that he hadn’t binge-watched the BBC series from his home inside the sewers of Derry, Maine, but instead watched it at broadcast pace in the UK, where he would no doubt have made a sizeable contribution to the show’s Twitter larks. (King proved himself happy to join in with online TV show speculation when he correctly predicted the killer in HBO/Sky’s Mare of Easttown. You can bet he’d have had a take on the mystery identity of Line of Duty baddie ‘H’.)
Line of Duty isn’t alone in attracting King’s online praise; when the horror author watches a TV show he loves from inside the creepy Castle Rock devil shop he calls home, he lets his 6.5 million followers know about it. Below is a list of endorsements King has made on Twitter in recent years, from the usual sci-fi and horror suspects to a few less expected titles.
US MODERN CLASSICS
The Americans, Game of Thrones, Homeland, Sons of Anarchy and The Shield
In Stephen King’s house (inside Derry’s landmark water tower, The Standpipe) as of February 2018, only three shows were considered ‘appointment television’: FX Cold War spy drama The Americans, HBO fantasy epic Game of Thrones and Showtime spy thriller Homeland. King describes all three as “a cut above”. Going one further, three days after the Game of Thrones series finale aired, King called out the New York Times’ list of 20 best TV dramas for neglecting to include the HBO dragon epic. He’s glad the Times included FX cop drama The Shield, a show that “fundamentally changed TV”, but feels it should also have tipped a hat to FX motorcycle gang drama Sons of Anarchy. Get it right, New York Times.
INTERNATIONAL DRAMA
Dark, Fauda, Hotel Beau Sejour, Les Revenants, Marianne, Money Heist, To The Lake, ZeroZeroZero
Nothing scares Stephen King, not even subtitles. When he’s relaxing in his converted alien spaceship half buried in the woods of Haven, Maine, he enjoys nothing more than streaming a foreign-language box-set. He particularly rates German sci-fi Dark, which he called terrific, complex and very German, and recommends these explanatory recaps for anybody confused by its multiple timelines. Virus thriller To The Lake was called “a pretty darn good Russian series on Netflix,” while Israeli spy thriller Fauda was described as “all killer and no filler”. King called Belgian crime drama Hotel Beau Sejour “eccentric, brilliant and strangely touching. Supernatural fare for those who don’t ordinarily like it.” Speaking of the supernatural, King’s a fan of celebrated French horror Marianne, which he says could scare even “a sicko” like him. Also in French, he loved atmospheric supernatural zombie drama Les Revenants/The Returned, calling it sexy and scary. Netflix’s Spanish-language thriller Money Heist is “a firecracker” while he found Italian-Anglo crime drama ZeroZeroZero “bone-shaking, chilling, terrifying, epic,” and King found it hard to believe it could be bettered. High praise.

BRITISH DRAMA
Black Mirror, Life on Mars, Line of Duty, The Stranger
From underneath his massive, transparent dome in Chester’s Mill, Stephen King will often enjoy a bit of British telly. Back in 2013, when it was still a Channel 4 show only just available worldwide on Netflix, King Tweeted that he loved future-tech anthology series Black Mirror, calling it “terrifying, funny, intelligent,” and compared it to an R-rated The Twilight Zone. The show creator Charlie Brooker, told Den of Geek at the time that despite being a huge Stephen King fan, his reaction was characteristically muted:
“I think I probably smiled? That’s about as effusive as I get about anything, because whenever anything nice happens in the world I always expect something appalling to happen immediately afterwards.”
BBC crime-drama-with-a-time-travel-fantasy-twist Life on Mars is another British favourite that King described in September 2020 as one of his favourite shows of all time, “the kind you go to when you’re feeling sad.” That same year, he called Harlan Coben’s mystery thriller The Stranger, starring Richard Armitage, as an excellent, addictive mystery. King’s British TV crush of the moment of course, is BBC crime drama Line of Duty, which he praises for having a central Mulder/Scully-type vibe between main characters Steve Arnott and Kate Fleming.
US THRILLERS
Big Sky, Bosch, Designated Survivor, Escape at Dannemora, Fargo, Mindhunter, Perry Mason, The Good Fight, The Man in the High Castle, The Morning Show
After he’s finished all the two-finger KitKats from the minibar at Room 217 of The Overlook Hotel, where he lives, Stephen King puts a thriller on the TV. Crime thriller, political thriller, legal thriller, alt-history Philip K. Dick thriller… he has time for them all. King is a particular fan of ABC’s murder show Big Sky, which stars Ryan Philippe and Vikings’ Kathryn Winnick. In February this year, he called it the best drama on network TV and said the final three episodes were stepping into Emmy territory. He calls Bosch an excellent detective series, one of the best on TV, with an engrossing story and superb cast. Kiefer Sutherland-starring series Designated Survivor he called excellent, complex and involving after its move to Netflix. Prison drama Escape at Dannemora is TV at its best according to King, who in 2015 described the penultimate episode of Fargo season two as the best thing on television in the last three years. In 2017, he strongly recommended David Fincher serial killer drama Mindhunter, and last year called the Matthew Rhys Perry Mason reboot a “damn good show.” In 2019, King called The Good Wife spin-off The Good Fight “the best show on TV”, and found nothing not to like about Apple TV+’s The Morning Show starring Jennifer Aniston. That was the year he also named Amazon Prime’s The Man in the High Castle season four as “amazingly good”, challenging and involving.
HORROR & SUPERNATURAL
Black Summer, Dracula, The Haunting of Hill House, Servant, Stranger Things, THEM
When he’s not nursing kidnapped novelists back to health in the remote Colorado cabin where he lives, Stephen King goes in for a bit of scare-action on the TV. He called Mike Flanagan’s adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s The Haunting of Hill House “close to a work of genius” despite not being a fan of revisionism of its kind in general, and praised M. Night Shyamalan’s Servant for its focus, acting and atmosphere, adding “if there’s anything creepier or more binge-worthy than this, I don’t know what it is.” He loved Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss’ BBC Dracula, calling it terrific and “VERY bloody”, found the first episode of Amazon Prime Video’s THEM scared the hell out of him, and praised Netflix’s Black Summer for reinvigorating the zombie drama: “Just when you think there’s no more scare left in zombies. THIS comes along.” As for Stranger Things, he described the first season as like “watching Steve King’s greatest hits” in a good way.

Next week on What Famous People are Watching: is Stanley Tucci really that big on the Westminster Dog Show, or is he more of a The Underground Railroad guy? We find out.

i hate paris
Do people still use tumblr? I’m so old. And I never used it. I don’t keep up with the times. I don’t give a shit. You know what? It all passes. Except facebook. They made a deal with the devil and really, was it worth it? I use facebook. I live in Paris and there are these groups for women, expats, cheap people like me that want free yoga. That’s what I use it for. And news. BBC CNN ABC NBC MSNBC, you get it and the posts. They report what the people supposedly want, but then we can see what the people are actually saying. Donald Trump won’t win? Look at voices talking? Look at the little people. It looked like he was going to win. What do you know, he did. But what if he had lost. What if Hilary didn’t get a handle on COVID and then Donald won in 2020? We would all be so fucked right now. Maybe we already are. Anyway, I’m not here to talk politics. I’m here to process my life choices and see if there were signs that I was making HUGE mistake.
So here’s the thing. I’m a bit untraditional. Growing up was shit. Chuck left and made sure to shit all over everything before he did. And the whole get married in your 20′s have babies get divorced get remarried have more kids bc hey you’re not old at 30 and this is the guy you actually wanted to have kids with. I rant but you get it. Traditional not for me. Also not traditional, i have some money. This money has paid for college, pastry school and yes this wonderful covid filled experience in paris: the city that hates me. I’m fortunate. I don’t live lavishly. It’s not that much money. I grew up poor, I pinch pennies. Then i do exciting things. Or maybe challenging things? I am fortunate and grateful. And guilt filled. I am given this gift and shit it away, trying make something out of this paris experience. It’s like a bad relationship where i keep begging to give it one more change. It will get better. I’m a fucking idiot. So here I am, you know third times the charm, right? Back in paris. Vaccinated. I’ve made connections with people. I feel confident that this will not be a waste. It will be fun. It will be educational. I will network. Gain experiences. Omg learn so much. Be able to travel. OH the hopes and delusions i had. But maybe we should start from the beginning.
Omg, which beginning. Paris, i guess, we can go back further when the moment calls. So 30 is approaching. I’ve moved back home. That’s story for another time. Remember my life is not traditional. So I’m home to help out and idk try to figure out what the fuck i want to do with my life. See the big mistake i made in my 20s was listening to people i don’t admire. i graduate with an art degree. my college exit interview said i am qualified to work at a bank or Kraft foods. no connects, recommendations. No direct. And my family keeps talking about getting a job, benefits, 401k. At one point a little later on, my grandpa was pushing for me to go into service. Sorry gramps, they don’t want me. My education was good. I learned a lot. They had good resources and a lot. But then nothings. So i worked at a bakery. I worked hard at this bakery. For more than a few months i worked 7 days a week. I didn’t have a life. i had money. Money i made. And apparently that was the most important thing, from the talks i keep getting from my family. And of course i wasn’t earning enough, so needed to work harder and climb the ladder. There is no ladder in a bakery. Whatever, I rant again. We’ll come back to this.
So 30. It’s looming. I’ve thought about grad school. The money I mentioned earlier. It’s had time to grow. The GRE expires after 5 years, not that i took it but 7 years after I graduated, i wasn’t taking it. So Europe. Europe is artsy. I would like to make good money, enjoy the work okay, but mostly make good money with the least amount of actual work. So teaching. My mom teaches. Computer programing. She’s the head of the department. She fucking hates it. The dude that was suppose to get that job, he died. It was sad. But they also didn’t replace him so when the other guy retired, it became her job. It was an unpleasant 10ish years. But again, I digress. So teaching. Work hard and play hard. And it’s always changing - ish. I guess as much as you want, or don’t. New students every 15 weeks. breaks at all the holidays. Summers off. And when you’re just about to get bored, you’re back at work. Maybe because this is the only lifestyle i know, but it doesn’t sound bad. I worked in an office of women in high school. That i for sure knew i never wanted. But teaching. College. Okay. I need a masters. Learn about MA and MFA. Start looking for jobs in Cali because life’s too short to fucking deal with the snow and mosquitos. Idk everyone doesn’t live in Cali. So now the plan is MFA. They are much more rare and more in demand at universities. More money - but this time i think chasing the money necessary bc Calif = expensive. Now back to looking in Europe. I love Italy. I would love to live in in Italy for more that just a semester but actually live Italian or close to it. The language makes sense. The people make sense. The art makes sense. And it’s omg gorgeous. Alas, no American accredited MFA programs I could qualify for in Italy. I don’t know if there were none but if there were, they would have been in textiles, or digital/graphic design. Which I don’t know anything about. I’m old school, metal work, drawing, printmaking - although so far we haven’t gotten along, another thing i going to try to make work before i leave this city that hates me, for good - painting, ceramics, you get it. I hate computers. I appreciate technology but my mom teaches computers therefore there was never a working computer in my house so we (my brothers and me) don’t do computers. So i find this school - in english and in Paris. Paris, so glamorous. Home of famous artists and their art. The Louvre and Eiffel Tower and Fashion. So okay, i check out their programs. One i have no fucking clue what it is. Still don’t. Another is Photography - pass. Graphics - no. List continues. Then i see Drawing. That’s interesting. I can draw, i draw well. This is a program i could probably get into. SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: you can get into any program. No program is ever full. It’s bull shit. Masters program. Undergrad = everyone is applying at the same time. Masters = ages range and much fewer people go. So don’t fall for that shit - EVER.
They have a one year and two year program. The second year is less than half the first year so makes sense to go the second year and get the MFA vs MA. So that works out. I’m reading and checking it out. Not sure what I’m looking for but in hindsight, i knew something was missing. Talk it over with my mom and her peers who are also teachers. Consensus - don’t be part of the first group. So i have an interview to get it - what a joke. It is also a time for me to learn more about the program. So i ask, is this new? How long has it been around. Answer: Oh no, it’s been working several years. Very confident. I didn’t have a follow-up, just said I don’t want to be in the first group. I said those words. Her response: Oh no no don’t worry. I was so naive. And yes this continued through the whole program. People’s personalities are what they are. So she lied to get me into the program and just kept lying. No respect for the insane about of money i was paying for this ‘experience’. No respect for the education i could have gotten somewhere else. Because this program had NO educational value. I’m not being bitter or dramatic. It was a complete waste of time and money. Then covid happened. Might have been a blessing in disguise. I can go into detail of the program later. This is just an overview of the beginning.
So, I get accepted. What a surprise. I’m now officially 30 and this - i feel- is my last hoorah. After this i will be an adult who can get an adult job and become an adult. But first i need housing. And a visa. Which is very confusing. So the French and Italians - Italians I am familiar  with, tell you about it later. So they’re similar in that lazy, lack of thoroughness, that’s their thing. Difference being Italians own it, French hardcore deny. So I’m reading this paperwork and it says thing like you need to have all your documents before your visa appointment including plane ticket. Well I can’t go without the visa so why would i get a plane ticket? Cart before the horse shit - it’s very french, wait until you hear about banks.

How to Watch (F1) Formula 1 Live Stream Online Free
Get the latest (F1) update on Formula 1 live streaming for free race grand prix online, schedules, date and timing and more information.
The 2021 F1 season is off to in inauspicious start before it even begins. The season-opening Australian Grand Prix — which originally was scheduled for March 21, has been moved to the back of the season and is now set for Nov. 21, 2021.
That would make the Bahrain Grand Prix the first race of the 2021 Formula 1 Live season on Sunday, March 28.
The Chinese Grand Prix also have been moved to a date to be determined, due to ongoing travel restrictions because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Discussions on when that race could be run are ongoing, F1 says. Meanwhile, look for the Italian Grand Prix at Imola in that April 18 slot.
From there, if all goes according to plan — and it certainly feels a little odd typing that sentence given the state of things — the series would wrap up Dec. 5, 2021, back where it closed out the 2020 season, in Abu Dhabi.
The updated 2021 F1 race calendar now looks as follows:

He was known for providing the voices of Walt Disney's Mr. George Darling, and Captain Hook in Peter Pan (1953), for playing the villainous title role in The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T, Dr. Miller on The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show, Snidely Whiplash in Jay Ward's Dudley Do-Right cartoons, Professor Kropotkin on the radio and film versions of My Friend Irma, his work as Uncle Tonoose on Danny Thomas' sitcom Make Room for Daddy, and multiple roles on I Love Lucy.
Besides hosting Fractured Flickers, Conried was a regular panelist on the pantomime program Stump the Stars and a semi-regular guest on the Ernie Kovacs-hosted game show Take a Good Look. He was a regular guest on Jack Paar's Tonight Show from 1959 to 1962. Conried joined the cast of The Tony Randall Show during the 1977-78 season.
Guest appearances included I Love Lucy (as the English tutor Percy Livermore) Davy Crockett, The Californians, Meet McGraw, Hey, Jeannie!, The Ray Milland Show, The DuPont Show with June Allyson, The Real McCoys, The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, Mister Ed, The Islanders, Ben Casey, Dr. Kildare, Lost in Space, Daniel Boone, The Beverly Hillbillies, The Lucy Show, Gilligan's Island, The Monkees, Have Gun – Will Travel, Love, American Style, Here's Lucy, Kolchak, Alice, Laverne & Shirley, The Love Boat, Hogan's Heroes, Match Game, Maverick, The Donna Reed Show, What's It For, Fantasy Island and Quark.
From 1955 to 1964, Conried made 21 guest appearances as Danny Thomas' Uncle Tonoose in Make Room for Daddy on ABC and then CBS. He was featured in the 1958 episode "What Makes Opera Grand?" on the anthology series Omnibus. The episode, an analysis by Leonard Bernstein, showing the powerful effect of music in opera, featured Conried as Marcello in a spoken dramatization of Act III of Puccini's La Bohème. The program demonstrated the effect of the music in La Bohème by having actors speak portions of the libretto in English, followed by opera singers singing the same lines in the original Italian.  (Wikipedia)
