Thanks to @egg_socks_the_raccoon for the cliché and again I'm sorry if this has ever happened to you. You are your own person regardless of what people say! #gay #gaypride #proud #pridemonth #pride #pridemonth2019 #queer #lgbt #lgbtq #love #loveislove #lovewins #fluid #abro #abrosexual #abrosexualpride #biromantic #bisexual #pansexual #equality #sexuality https://www.instagram.com/p/BzVplAQAIlU/?igshid=1scqr9d2bdh8w
The problem with being both polyamory and abrosexual is that I’m always just so confused. Am I attracted to you only on gay days? And everyone else on other days? Is it because I am I love with all of you individually on seperate days? Or am I in love with you all of the time, anytime, but it manifests differently everyday? Why can’t I choose? Dammit.
This was one that I hadn’t really heard of before but thought it was really cool that someone requested it! There’s so many lesser know identities in the LGBTQ+ community that we just don’t talk about, and they deserve representation, too!
Hiya! I got 2 questions for you: 1 - What does abrosexual mean? And 2 - are you in other fandoms besides thomas sanders/sanders sides? Have a nice day (:
Abrosexual is a fluid sexuality. It means my attraction can change in any time. For a better explanation maybe ask one of these blogs @abrosexuality @abrosexuallearning @abrosexualpride @abrofriend @abrosexualfacts as for the second question, i am in many, many fandoms and idek where to begin. The list is L O N G my friend
So I saw @abrosexualpride doing this so what the hell, eonjoy!
1. Lizards or Cats?
I’m a cat person thourgh and through, but I do love all animals
2. Are you on the a-spectrum?
I thought I was for a long time, but now I don’t know, as I haven’t felt ace in well over two years
3. Do you crush easily?
On celebrities I crush easily, but on people irl not so much. Like, I usually crush on people coause they have a real great talent, and it’s much easier to find an incredibly talented famous musician or actor/actress than it is to find someone irl with great talent. It does happen, but it’s not as common.
4. Have you tried out other labels before this one?
From age 12 (when I started quesrioning) to age 18 (when I found ta abro-label) I would think around in circles if I was straight, gay, or bi, in the end I sorta would generalize to bi although it didn’t feel right. Later I would realize it was because bi is just one of my orientations but yeah I couldn’t settle on one cause it didn’t feel 100% right for me
5. Are you abrosexual, abroromantic, or both?
I haven’t really fallen in love or even been romantically infarurated with someone in a long while (like, since I was 9) but I think I might be both abrosexual and abroromantic but idk I’ll find out I guess
6. Are you still questioning?
Romantically, yea, sexually, nah
7. Do you like the flag colors? What do they mean to you?
They’re so pretty I’m glad I have a pretty flag cause I’m an artist and I just like aesthetically pleasng stuff and if it hadn’t been I would probs not acociate with it
8. What’s it like when you fluctuate?
I can’t really describe it like I’ll be SO GAY like so head over heels for girls for two weeks and then one day or just even one afternoon I’ll wake up and be like toughing other girls like that ugh what??? and then sometimes i’m in like this ???????? phase where I know i’m not ace but I don’t really like any gender either tho and then sometimes I can be all up kissing or sleeping with someone and my body will just go “nope” and then I have to come up with some lame excuse cause I can’t really be in the middle of m/f sex and be like “oops I’m a lesbian now, sionara asshole” idk
9. How long are your “phases”?
Sometimes a day, sometimes a month, usually between 3-10 days tho
10. Have you come out to anyone (It’s ok if you haven’t)?
My closest friends knows the Abro part, most people know the queer part (I’m not really hiding it), and my family only knows what they can guess
11. What do you like best about our community?
I’m gonna copy the person I got this from and go:
“We don’t have much toxic discourse, tho that’s mostly cus people don’t know we exist”
12. What have you shifted to most?
I think I mostly keep to the bi-spectrum (like I’m usually into most genders but the level of attraction to them varies)
13. Fandom blog or aesthetic blog?
Fandom/political stuff although this is an ask-based blog
14. Green or pink?
I’m in my pink phase of life rn so pink but ask me in a month and it might be different (I’m pretty much shifing through everything in my life from music to foods to hobbies idk why I was surprised over my sexuality being the same smh)
15. Do you have a crush right now?
Like one celeb crush and I’m also semi-kinda-not-really-but-still-do dating somebody and I think when we actually meet for real next week I could?? but idk about righht now
16. Are you involved in your local community?
I just moved into a new town so locally I pretty much started from scratch but I try to be availabe to the online community
17. Do you like multiple genders, or just one?
I like them all to some degree sometimes
18. Do you have an abro blog?
This is my abro blog, my personal one is @veganmort
19. Do you want to know more abro people?
YES PLEASE
20. Do you like being abro?
Yes and no. I feel it gives an unique perspective cause you can pretty much verify that different sexualities feel different and that you have no control over wich one you have. But I also feel it can be exhausting, especially as you’re dating because you never know if you’ll like that persona tomorrow. In a more long-term relationship, it would be easier to communicate but in dating the foundation of the ralationship is very fragile and it can be difficult because one wrong move can cause svere dammage to the foundation you’re trying to build.
Hi! The blog @abrosexualpride is new and would love a boost! We're just starting out, but we want to focus on being proud abrosexual people, making abros more visible, and maybe answering some common questions (not so much helping people who are questioning like this one). I'd really appreciate if you guys spread the word. Thank you!
In honor of pride month go follow @abrosexualpride and show your colors!
Hi so this is NOTTTTTT meant to be offensive because I love you sm but what does abrosexual mean? I saw it in your bio and I’m just not familiar with the term. -Tori
Im not offended at all. Personally i dont think i explain things very well so if you want to ask someone who knows what they're saying you should ask any of these lovely blogs @abrosexuality @abrosexuallearning @abrosexualpride @abrofriend @abrosexualfacts but since you asked me and it is in my bio, i shall do my best to explain. From what i understand it means a sexuality that is always flactuating, constantly changing. It can be monthly, yearly, weekly, daily, or a change that doesnt have any set time schedual. It varies from person to person. You can flactuate between any and all sexualities. Gay, bi, straight, pan, ace, demi, and whatever else comes to mind. (Im just listing those im most fammiliar with) in that same sense there also abromantic (abro-romantic? I still dont know the corect spelling and pronounciation for that one.) For me, it feels right because i feel like i wake up every day feeling a little differentky when it comes to my attraction to other humans. I used to think there's just no definiton for the way i feel, which then made me feel like i was trying to be special on purpose, which made me feel like shot tbh. But when i read the definition for abrosexuality and realized how much i felt it fit the way i feel, it made me realize someone else has felt this way and decided to name that feeling. That made me feel better. Thanks for this question, tori. I actually really enjoy talking about this but i dont like to do it unprompted. Feels like im anoying people, yknow? So anyway, i hope that was helpfull and sorry for the rant lol
