These fears were rooted less in any academic, social or ethical critique of the work than on an intuition which, if it had been put into words, would have been that no good would come of it.

This night I finished my 44 flashcards for the International Phonetic Alphabet, I am sure it saved me a lot of time for September ! Now I just have to learn them (งツ)ว
Orange : consonants
Blue : diphtongs
Purple : vowels
Today I started listening to BBC Radio 1, and honestly they have such good musics, I definitely love it ! And in the same way I found the "BBC learning english" app, I hope it will help me. :)
Now I have to read some chapters of Harry Potter, but I will not post updates everyday for it, because it'd be annoying!
I hope you have a great day too ♡

(i took freedom of doodle to make this - excuse the super crooked little vines!)
hi, i’m marina! I’ve been following study blogs for a while now and it was just about time for me to join, so i guess this is my first post.
who am i
i’m brazilian and nineteen years old. i’m graduating in journalism, but this is my third university year since i ditched law school after three semesters. so, now, what i’ve been (and will be!) studying is most of all writing and language, along with, honestly, a little bit of everything else. i’m also a lesbian, wannabe decent piano player, crazy kitten lady, emotional hair dyer and night owl, so that’s the combination. my main is @willdestdreams!
why am i here
having studyblrs around for the past months has been really helpful in turning learning from a very anxiety ridden thing into grounded, light moments of growth. so thank you, @elkstudies, @studyquill, @emmastudies (printables that save lives), @studylustre, @minzemind (just found you today, actually. but cool that we’re both starting!), @piiess, @apricitystudies, @horanastudy, @ohghiblies (SO beautiful???), @goodtea-studies, @lilypadstudies, @studydaisyy, @ehtudiante, @littlestudyblrblog, @lostlxmb, @chemistri, @ravnclaw, @chrissiestudies, @violinandchill, @academc, @ploverstudies, @sunflowerstvdy, @obliviatestudies. i’ve been following most of you since forever and it really made my life a little nicer.
what i'll be studying
main
journalism/communications
mandarin (beginner)
music
other lil skills
spanish (do not know what i'm doing here)
french (intermediate)
economy/politics
culture and arts
computer science
