How To Mod inZoi
As of now
Tumblr media
inZOI just released on the 27th for Early Access. There are already so many mods available to try out for this brand new game. I recently tested some out and wanted to give a quick step by step guide on how to mod your game.
youtube
Here’s a quick guide on how to get started
Step One
From Steam, locate Inzoi in your library. Right click and navigate to browse the local files in folder BlueClient
Step Two
Get the Mod Enabler from Nexus Mods. Navigate to the Widows folder. Use a program like 7 zip to access the zipped files inside. With the inZOI folder you opened in steam to access the local files, you will put the contents from the windows folder of the Mod Enabler directly into the game Windows Folder.
Step Three
Navigate to BlueClient\Content\Paks\ and create a folder called “~mods” this is where you will put the majority of your mods that are pak files unless the mod states otherwise.
Find some mods you like and use 7 zip to extract the files and place them in your ~mods folder.
Your mods should now work.
For custom 3D printed items or ai animations, these will be placed in the C:\Users\Name\Documents folder in their respective spots. The folders are easy to identify for ai generated and 3d printed items.

The thing that gets me about history and humanity is that you never know what is immortalized, and the things that will be immortalized are things you would never think.
I saw a person sharing a new tattoo, and it was one of Onfim's drawings. A boy who lived so long ago he is barely a blip now, but his drawings meant so much to people that somebody is now permanently marked in their skin with one of those drawings. Do you ever look at the things you make and just sit there and wonder if this is the thing that future people look at? Do you ever look at your art, your writing, your schoolwork, or anything that is yours and just wonder who will find it, who will fall in love with a piece of your humanity and become overwhelmed with emotion over? It's not unlikely. It's not totally unlikely that somebody will find a piece of you in the distant future and devoid of any other context of who you were will still love you because you were here. You were here, and you are still here, even hundreds or thousands of years later. Treat yourself with the same love that so many have for dear Onfim.

Saiwa's inZOI Tutorials
How to enable cheat codes
How to (almost) fully edit a Zoi you already have ingame
The list with all Cheat Codes is -> here
Enable cheat codes:
Open Psycat's Guide
Tumblr media
Click 'Enable Cheats'
Tumblr media
To open the cheat console, press CTRL+SHIFT+C
Tumblr media
Fully edit your ingame Zoi:
First you need your Zoi's ID: type or copy
showZoiInfo true
into the cheat console and press ENTER
Tumblr media
Now Saiwa knows the ID's of Namjin and Minwoo! (Which weirdly is the same? ö.Ö' Edit: I found out what happened, see Edit below)
The cheat for editing the Zois is:
CustomZoi [ZoiID] Namin's ID is 8665
So Saiwa enters
CustomZoi 8665
into the cheat console . . .
Tumblr media
and waits a few seconds. . .
There he is! Face and body and (almost) everything fully editable! (But not the name? We can't have everything, I guess ^^') (I'm so happy about that! It was such a hassle when you noticed something odd after adding the Zois into the game. I often ended up with 3-5 different versions of them standing next to each other until I decided which one to keep omg...)
Tumblr media
To remove the Zoi Info again, type
showZoiInfo false
EDIT: If it happens to you that two Zois have the same ID (or a different Zoi than intended shows up in CAZ), try turn showZoiInfo off and on again ^^'
Tumblr media
Now they have different IDs, In the pics above you can see Minwoos real ID even shimmering above the false one over his head ö.ö

Okay Tumblr is being an ABSOLUTE ASSHOLE about being able to insert links today for some reason and so won't let me embed it, but I published Chapter 1 of the podfic for The Risen Lamb and the Fallen God. Here it is! https://archiveofourown.org/works/61946524/chapters/158403568
For those who may not know what a podfic is, it's basically an audiobook of a fanfic! I'm doing a podfic of my own fic, but there are many people who podfic the works of other authors (with permission, of course). Podfics currently don't really get a lot of "reach", but I think they're an underrated medium of fanwork.
Anyway, if you struggle to read long texts and would rather listen to fanfic like an audiobook, here ya go!

if you see a screenshot of a tweet that has ALT text, before you reblog thinking "Oh, great, it's already described!" check the ALT text.
If the tweet includes a picture, the picture is probably not included in the ALT text.
When you share a link to a tweet (as of December 7th 2023, who knows if/when Elon Musk is gonna break this feature), it automatically converts itself into a "screenshot", with ALT text automatically generated listing the poster and the text content.
It does not do anything for any images in the tweet, because it's literally just copying the text.
You have to manually describe the images that were in the original tweet.
And because most people don't need image descriptions, they will just see that the image has ALT text, not check to make sure it's accurate, and reblog without realizing they're reblogging an inaccessible post.
Please check that ALT text is correct before reblogging. Even if it's not automatically generated, some people are just using it completely wrong because they don't know what it's for.
If the ALT text is incorrect, create a plain text image description, explain the problem, and ask the OP to add the full ID to the original post.

How good is each necron at actually playing Warhammer 40k?
Trazyn- collects all the minis, perfectly painted. Watches the model reveals and preorders everything the second it comes out. Games Workshop's dream customer. However he has forgotten there's actually a game so he's average at best.
Orikan- cheats and everyone knows it. His game is figuring out how to keep cheating without anyone being able to prove what he did. Plays aeldar because it pisses everyone off.
Imotekh- master. Wins tournaments. List building king, plays whatever he thinks he can optimize, but hates the dice. The randomness drives him nuts. Will kill any ork player that yells "WAAAAAGH"
Szarekh- enjoys the hobby more than the game. Distracts him from The Horrors. When he plays he's chill, plays necrons because he feels obligated but secretly likes Tau.
Zahndrekh- plays Ad Mech and wins. Cheers for his opponent when they do well. Laughs at the wacky dice rolls. Best opponent, all around delight.
Obyron- quiet, serious, not actually that good. Zahndrekh tries desperately not to backseat general even though he's about three seconds away from a stroke every time Obyron moves his units out of position. Plays Imperial Guard
Anrakyr- Hasn't really committed to an army because he refuses to play anything "organic" but doesn't vibe with crons play style. He would love Knights if he'd get over himself a little.
Oltyx- absolutely plays space marines. Dry brushes everything. Wins games early in the edition when nobody else has their codex and loses most games after that. Constantly rolls 1's.
Yenekh- plays whatever the other faction is in the launch box Oltyx got. Pretends he doesn't care about winning. Absolutely cares about winning. Rolls more 6's than is reasonable for a single person despite never actually cheating. He's just lucky
Zultanekh- plays orks and loves it. Does yell "WAAAAAGH!" As Gork and Mork intended
Lysikor- everyone expects him to cheat so he specifically doesn't. Plays Genestealers. Stole most of his models from Trazyn. Somehow has avoided consequences for this.
Szeras- Plays Drukhari. One would think he's a sore loser, but he enjoys watching the elves suffer even in tiny plastic form so he's fine either way. His opponents do occasionally vanish after games, but there is no proof he is involved.

my biggest pet peeve about modern fighting games is that they NEED to stop hiding their tutorialization behind the casual 'arcade story mode' gamemodes (world tour sf6/arcade quest t8). i do not want to engage with your metaverse avatars i want to read what my options are when i'm downed!!!!

Alright I have now actually been working in a bank for a while and I gotta say,,,,,, it kiiiiiinda takes the drama out of Leverage.
Like. Do you know how easy it would be to rob us? Currently the only alarm that requires a code has been permanently disabled for over a month due to construction on the upper floors. The key cards that let you access the vault are given to the tellers- aka the college kids who let just about anyone in if they ask. Hell, I've given spare keycards to employees I didn't even recognise because I'm bad with faces and didn't want to be rude, they were wearing the company color so I just said sure here you go. There's just physical keys lying around everywhere. We also technically have a vault inside the vault that only head tellers can access, but I have never seen it closed.
Like. Robbing us wouldn't take an episode, it wouldn't even take a whole scene. Parker would be downright offended if she came to rob us. She wouldn't even have to crawl through any air vents, pick any locks, anything- literally just wear blue and ask politely to be let into the vault.
We would disappoint Parker so bad

the disappointing thing about ariana grande's version of popular is that at no point am I thinking "is she high??" which is the most important part of any performance of popular. she should be doing headstands and ill-advised kicks and shaking elphaba back and forth. mid

hello! saw that you add image descriptions and I was wondering if you think the alt text feature tumblr has is good for image descriptions or if it’s better to just write it out in the post? I’m not the most knowledgeable on how to do good image descriptions but I wanna start making the habit of putting them on things
Hello!!! This is a great question, thank you for reaching out!!! The alt feature is great for descriptions, but the most recent consensus I've seen is that doing both alt text and plain text (body text) IDs in the post is actually the most broadly accessible way to describe a post!! Here's an example of what I mean (you'll notice there's some more detail in the plain text, and that the alt isn't appended by brackets or extra ID formatting):
Tumblr media
[ID: My icon, an emoji fish carrying an emoji love letter in its mouth surrounded by hearts and set against a pink gradient. End ID]
The blind community has competing access needs, which means there isn't a one-size-fits-all format, and your final choice comes down to what you prefer on your blog, as long as your IDs are useful and clear :)
Some bullet points to help you get your bearings:
Alt text is occasionally plagued by glitches and is sometimes considered less accessible to people who may not use a screenreader. It's still the most useful form of ID for screenreader users, from what I've gathered!
Plain text IDs should be written in fully plain text-- no small text or excessive italics/caps lock! However, I've seen that bold is generally more acceptable as special formatting. Utilize line breaks if necessary, but try to emphasize clarity and conciseness rather than exhaustive detail. Also, IDs go directly below (or above) the image, not at the end of a post!
People who do use both forms of description will frequently, as I did above, write a relatively bare-bones alt and a more in-depth ID so screenreader users can choose whether they want to sit through repeated information or not!
And last: Thank you again for reaching out!!!! Every person who chooses to make their spaces accessible makes the world a better place :))))

I couldn’t figure out how to correspond a written response with a number or how to average 4 numbers per response then compare that on a scatter plot. So
I can't help you with the written response but you can tell excel to average out cells and make a new column with that. That's a thing you can do.

now i’m thinking about hair. i never had black friends growing up. didn’t have a black classmate until freshman of high school, then moved to a different school with no black students in sophomore year. hell i didn’t even have black online friends. now i have more black online friends (i don’t leave the house so black irls is tricky) and even THEN im not very close to them.
so my experience with my blackness has been centered by my family. my dads side is the worst cause my grandma hated black hair (given she grew up when our hair was called nappy and messy). she always complained when i wore it naturally. insulted me and constantly questioned when i’d get it “fixed”. my mom is from the islands so she appreciates it. she doesn’t understand how americans do their afros tho (she kinda just wets the hair and add oil and call it a day. no shaping or anything). i think my sister and cousin are the only ones who know how to take care of our hair! they both keep theirs really short.
i really like color and longer hair. i despise wearing wigs and weaves aren’t for me. it’s either dying my natural hair or braided extensions/other styles like locs or twists etc. i prolly do have more options but my mom does my hair.
it’s so fascinating to think about how other people get their hair done. friends always tell me about how they got their hair cut, dyed and fixed up in salons and barbers. it’s so fascinating and it’s like. a few hour process!! or less!! mine is like a whole weekend thing. never is a one day thing. never. cut the braids shorter, take the braids out, detangle then wash well, and prepare to braid. that alone takes most the day for me. plus my mom does it alone 9/10 of the time. she works on her feet all day so she needs more breaks, we don’t have good spots to have us both sitting while she does it, and taking out my own hair is awful and nearly impossible. do you know how tiring it is to fiddle with the top of your head for hours? that’s a whole workout right there! i can only do so much!
by the time my hair is washed and detangled again i’m exhausted. so is my mom. we usually continue it for the next day. preparing my hair and then braiding. i never learned to braid when i was younger so learning now isn’t ideal on my own head. but my mom and sister help which im so grateful for. i used to be so tender headed when i was little but my mom stopped yanking my hair as hard and now i can handle it better. a lot of my memories are sitting in the chair in front of my mom, me sleeping or on my laptop/listening to music on my phone, while my mom watches her shows. i have thick tight curls and my hair is getting longer each time i take out my braids (which is good since my hair had grown super slow my whole life. i blame all the relaxing and straightening). so getting each braid in is hell.
of course it’s also being braided with the fake hair. whatever color i wanted, and now im getting more creative with the styles! making bangs or putting beads or leaving the ends open or braiding all the way down with charms and stuff. it’s the best way i can do to express myself! it’s my hair! it takes time and effort and work to get my hair done. i’m stuck with it for a while so i better like how it ends! having my hair braided makes my life so much easier, especially since i’ve had depression since 10 years old. it’s been a struggle to take care of myself at all, so having the huge HUGE possibility of my hair getting knotted and matted and dirty was also right around the corner. braiding has been my savior.
not sure what this post is but i like talking about my hair :3 don’t get a lot of chances too. i never realized how much my hair means to me.
