Undertale Hot Take
"Chara is evil!"
"The player is evil!"
Secret Third option- nobody is evil, geno route is Frisk having a justifiable reaction to dying over and over and over to an entire society of monsters that want them in particular dead which they can't seem to escape no matter how nice or mean they are.
Seriously why does nobody think that maybe Frisk would decide to give the monsters a taste of their own medicine?
Kid deserves it. Self care.

SPOILERS FOR UNDERTALE YELLOW'S GENO ROUTE!!
rambling about an idea i had.
ok so. in the geno route, clover and starlo have a duel, right? what if : instead of finding starlo early, you find ceroba trying to evacuate everyone. she tells everyone to run, and shes instantly shot. right then and there.
you get to have a scene of starlo seeing this, and getting enraged (like how ceroba does in the og route), and you actually get to fight the sheriff. maybe before ceroba goes, she gives starlo her mask. now, it'd carry not just on chujin and kanako's memories , but hers as well.
i got this idea from a song called Rule #15 - Four Aces by Fish in a Birdcage! mainly these lyrics :

Going back to your AU, a light bulb just popped out of my head! There are a few theories about how each chapter and their bosses go! One theory is that it's basically Undertale (geno route to be précised) backwards. Because Jevil is like Sans with both being jokesters but knowing more then they seem with having 4th wall awareness, & Spamton is like Metton both possessing a more robotic form and both having a prefight before their actual real fight. (even the designs of their Neo forms are similar) Maybe if you are deciding to design some Darkner OCs for your AU then maybe do could use that theory as inspiration.
Ooo, that's actually a really cool idea! At the very least it could be a fun way to include axis in the plot again...

Undertale Cyan:
The main idea is somewhat similar to Deltarune because of how Vanessa (the patience soul) and *You* work:
You’ll be kinda controlling Vanessa in a way you do to Kris in deltarune, she’s her own individual people and yet you cling onto her experience this world she lives in, but still don’t have full control despite your DT,
This will lead to Vanessa clearly visibly struggling for control (this will happen more often in genocide btw)
Other from that? Works mostly the same as UT with the ideas me and some of my friends had for armor traits
(“FEAR, CHARISMA,DEF, ATK”)
FEAR: Scares monsters away from you so you’ll get less encounters but people will be uncomfortable around you and your ACT choices will be less effective.
CHARISMA: Gets you more encounters because people wish to talk to you more but your ACT choices will be more effective.
(The more LV you get the higher your FEAR increases)
Some text options will sometimes change when you move on them, mostly to show that Vanessa’s words are being replaced with yours.
(Side note to help explain something: Undertale cyan is a odd thing. It’s what WOULD be the 2nd fallen soul being possessed by the DT soul, so frisk is the 2nd fallen now but with a Weaker DT soul or whatever.)
bonus bosses and mini bosses:
Red, who you can encounter in the Core by going off path and walking on an invisible bridge.
Bill, a neutral route encounter who you can only unlock after completing the pacifist route or getting enough dog coins.
(Fun fact: Bill is some weird 6'5 character that looks like Sans, I sorta made him as a Joke character. He doesn’t have most of the 'sans' abilities (he mostly has bones and goofy attacks) and he’s just some weird black n white skeleton that folks are uncomfortable around)
(He has an attack called 'Jessie bone' which is a bone with a red beanie which will chase you on a skateboard)
time to talk more about bill:
Bill, He’d probably be a character that you’d see throughout the story. Think about a funnier Monster kid, he’ll occasionally appear and mess with another character but mostly talk to you, hell sometimes you can even buy items from him or get a random item..
These can either be beneficial or dangerous! He could give you a ketchup bottle (heals 5hp and confuses whoever you’re going against) or straight up Whisky (heals -1HP and makes your movements slower, it also messes with narration).
(Maybe he’ll actually avoid you in Genocide Due to bill probably not being an idiot and knowing that you are definitely in the mood to kick his shit in.)
Bill will replace Toby in some parts, so he’ll steal papyrus’ attack and go “uh…meow?” before running out of there or something.
And he’ll just take the “Powerful Orb” after you unlock it and just hold it above you so you can’t reach it, since he like bullies Vanessa n all.
Extra Geno Fights: MTT’s Definitely going to give more of a fight, he’s got one last show so he’s going to make this one worth it, and This NEO fight will still have a “yellow soul” mode but it’ll work differently, you basically have to collect pellets or whatever to throw at projectiles but they can destroy several attacks in throw (just aim it good to get those combos)
Tori will actually fight back during Geno but still hold back a bit even though you’re a murderer
Papyrus giving giving it a bit more work in Geno while trying to make you stop, keeping his guard up as he tries to block your attacks while convince you to ease down (note: spare-killing him is an easy way to win, and he won’t ever kill you because he’s still trying to see you be better.)
Bonus Puzzle: The gauntlet of deadly terror actually works in Undertale Cyan and will initiate a one turn fight which will send each weapon into doing the random attack where it’s basically just a bullet hell attack that you have to dodge
Narrative/Chara stuff: The “Other one” is of course Chara who still occasionally narrates throughout this but Vanessa mainly does the narration instead.
Most of your LV EXP all of those STATS go to Vanessa too since you’re using her husk, so Chara won’t appear in the Geno ending and isn’t really really numbed to it because the LV not gong to Them as well, only Vanessa.
Undyne time:
Undyne’s spear attacks won’t send you into a annoying spear spam dodge encounter and instead will just do damage like in Deltarune
So on a normal neutral run you can fight basically the semi-undyning version of Undyne, right?
Well after Geno she’ll be more determined than the neutral run due to having déjà vu of you being a terrible person and just feeling like you’re not even human so
She’ll get closer to being Undyne the Undyne but still not there. Making for a tougher fight. (Again Undyne has incredibly specific déjà vu! Moreso than sans or most honestly- Probably due to DT.)
It’ll also match the Narration’s (Vanessa’s) text change from
“…?”
To after you do a geno run
“..Is this a second wind or just a dying breath?” Despite how this sounds evil, she’s moreso genuinely curious.
The reason this works is because the geno erase was well- it was a imperfect erase since the husk couldn’t help the soul, making it weaker as it slowly tried to get things bad to “normal.” A weird reset.
Flowey:
In the omega flowey It’s not only the SOULs that finish him off but also YOU!
Y’know how the final is? The actual final will be like after that but he’ll only be able to do his basic Flowey attacks as you do a TON of damage (like normal)
He’ll be shouting about “he’s the god of this world!” And “I can’t give up like THAT!”
I was planing on making a little Flowey fight for genocide, he doesn’t get enough time to get to the souls so he’s forced to fight you on his own, the reason he would fight you is because you’d be 'less Chara like' with Vanessa being the main source of narration and it being mostly *her* husk n all.
The fight would be like that one 'save goatbro' Fan made fight but y’know-
Depressed
An attack idea I had to make it semi-newer was to use the echo flowers actually,
(Undertale the musical from RECD gave me that idea)
It’s attack where the echo flowers either echo past attack 'patterns' of monsters you’ve fought but with flowey’s bullets or their words would shoot at you like the perseverance soul’s part in the omega flowey fight.
Consequences: The Genocide run ends with Vanessa attempting to separate herself from you as you try to erase the world, causing an 'improper erase' instead, which is semi like a reset.
The consequences for the genocide is the Fear factor to be higher around you (Vanessa gives a semi unsettling vibe), narration changes for both neutral and pacifist (as shown with Undyne).
The 'friend group photo' will also end up the same with the faces being scribbled out, but Vanessa won’t be making an evil face or anything but instead her face will be scribbled out too and 'we don’t deserve this ending' will be written in the top right corner to show Vanessa’s disgust towards you and herself after the geno run (mass murder sorta effects a child, who knew?)
The pacifist route will come with consequences for if you try to do a geno or neutral route, like Vanessa actively doing less damage or hesitating when attacking a monster due to her not wanting to kill all of the people she was just friends with no so long ago.
Loot idea: Defeating bosses in an either aggressive or peaceful way can unlock you special items, a good example of this is with papyrus:
Completing a fight with him through sparing him can unlock you the 'COOL DUDE' Scarf which gives you
+2 Speed
+1 ATK
+5 DEF
-5 FEAR
+12 CHARISMA
While if you kill him you’ll get the 'Torn Scarf.' Which gives you
+1 Speed
+2 ATK
+0 DEF
+12 FEAR
-5 CHARISMA
(Undyne will do extra damage to you and KR lasts longer.)
Bonus:
The 'Gaster Room' will scare the ever living hell out of Vanessa, making her panic and try to constantly move away from him as you try to push her closer to him, and if you manage to actually make her actually get to the mystery man then he’ll just disappear and she’ll collapse for a moment, taking a moment to breathe before getting up and rushing out of that room.
If Vanessa's inventory isn't full, after leaving the Gaster room once you touched Gaster, a "Hand" item will appear.
Item *Info:*
My hand itches...
Item: *Use*
"You claw at the back of your hand for a moment. You accidentally make yourself bleed." -1 HP.
(It's only in that one corridor when you leave the G room though. Leave the corridor and "Hand" will go away.)
Bonus part two:
If you go to Bill after encountering the Gaster room, he’ll give Vanessa the 'deal maker glasses' (Spamton’s drip) which will trigger some new attacks in the MTT fight which are similar to Spamton’s attacks.
Fun facts:
Fun fact: Vanessa will refuse to let you flirt with Undyne! If you try to do that spear flirt thing she’ll legit move it away and make it point at the tea.
(Because like: Vanessa’s a 9 - 11 year old girl who’s like “Ewwww I wouldn’t kiss a fish or something that’s weird, you’re weird.”)
Fun fact: Vanessa doesn’t actually like the other options as much as the tea, so choosing tea will make Undyne note on how you’re smiling
Fun fact: If you try to equip the cloudy glasses then Vanessa will actually just clean them to make them just 'glasses'
Fun fact: Wearing the glasses in the MTT Q&A will actually cause the letters Alphys makes to be highlighted.
Fun fact: if you have the Tough gloves or Manly Bandana equipment during undyne’s cooking lesson then Vanessa will be much more willing to do the aggressive cooking options like punching the tomato n all.
Fun fact: Vanessa will describe the dull knife as "nostalgic" when you ask her to describe it.
Fun fact: Vanessa will genuinely be scared of Asgore, showing hesitation to even enter the barrier or start the fight.
Fun fact: If you mention Bill around Sans, Sans will show visible discomfort and recommend you stay away from Bill.
Fun fact: if you mention Bill around Papyrus, Papyrus will wonder if he’s even supposed to be allowed around children
Fun fact: if you mention Bill around Undyne, Undyne Will basically just say "keep away from that creepy hillbilly."
And finally, here’s Vanessa’s design.

Ok so Sans knows about saving and loading and resets atleast vaguely. He doesn't necessarily remember any more than anyone else but he KNOWS more than anyone else but maybe flowy and asgore.
With this we know his boss fight is more a desperate attempt for you to give up than an actual attempt to kill the genocidal human. Killing you isn't anything more than an annoyance; a frustrating difficult fight. He's an obstacle designed to make you rage quit. But what I find fascinating, and maybe a little tragic, about this is someone who rage quits isn't necessarily going to reset they're just going to quit. That leaves the save in the horrific state of the Underground in a geno run until you pick the game back up.
Idk what im really on about outside of how TRAGIC the darker Undertale routes can be. Even some of the more obscure neutral runs are pretty sad.

Deltarune x Undertale Theory: Kris Isn’t What They Seem...(And Flowey Is Chara)
[Note: Reading This Theory is Optional. also, please don’t reblog this without my permission.]
okay, if anyone had notice but didn’t notice at first, and I don’t think I had at first.....
but when Kris is well, moving without the Player’s control in both Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, and even when they are in the bathroom, suppose to be washing their hands, but instead pulls out the red soul.
the top of their hair, that normally has those two pieces of hair stick up...
isn’t there when they have the red soul out of them.
it might be possible that the Red Soul, while being the Player’s proxy soul...
it might also belong to the Original Fallen Human from the Undertale World.
travel between the two different worlds and realities, could still be possible.
the intro and the flashbacks that show a human that we assume is Chara, might actually be Undertale’s worlds own Kris.
Chara, might actually be the human that had the patience soul.
the human that has the patience soul, had a ribbon and a toy knife.
but it could be possible, that Chara might of been a creation much like Flowey.
it could turn out that Flowey isn’t just some flower with the dust memories of the original Asriel, and it might turn out that if we go down the Geno Route and if Flowey is taken out, it could end up causing the flower to transform into Chara.
or not, then again maybe that isn’t the case.
but it could be possible that Kris, from Undertale, was a sibling of both Asriel and Chara, but something happen to them that caused them to be forgotten.
which might have to do with Frisk, who came from the Hard Mode Timeline.
and for all we know, it could be possible that the red soul that is seen during Undertale, when we either go all Geno, Neutral or Pacifist Run....
it doesn’t truly belong to the Player or even Frisk, and it turns out that red soul belongs to Kris, while the red soul that is used in the generator to power the underground, and is in the true lab....that red soul, belongs to Chara.
and when we do head to the true lab, we don’t just go to the one we are suppose to go when we want to get the true pacifist ending, we first end up going to the other timeline we leave behind, when Undertale Kris’s soul is transmigrated from one version of Frisk’s body to another.
in the true lab, that we end up in, where it is in the Queen Toriel Timeline...
we find what appears to be a room with a large mirror with what seems to be Frisk’s reflection, but might turn out to be the Vessel of the Frisk we left behind when we reload and choose not to face the king yet and go back and end up finally getting a call from Undyne about Alphys.
it’s not until we go into the elevator in the true lab, and go through it to the other hallway, that we go back to the true pacifist timeline, otherwise known as the anomaly timeline, well that is my fan headcanon for it.
anyway I believe what we see in the true lab, when we end up in the Queen Toriel Timeline again....has the Frisk we leave behind, locked up, and that version of Frisk doesn’t really leave the underground in the Queen Toriel Timeline, and before they can leave, Alphys ends up stopping them and takes them to the true lab, all this happens when we the player, as well as UT-Kris’s red soul, ends up going back by reloading to where we were before we face King Asgore.
and it is possible that no matter if we give Chara UT-Kris’s soul or not, they will always end up being transmigrated to the Deltarune, no matter the outcome in Undertale.
it might be possible that the one who pulls UT-Kris out of Kris’s body, is the Kris from that world, and before the Player comes around, Kris (the good half that was originally from Undertale) had possibly lived in Deltarune for a few years before the Player comes around, and possibly causing the original Kris of Deltarune to wake up....but maybe before the Player comes around, and before the events of Chapter 1, the Original Kris has already awaken, and the good half of Kris that came from Undertale, was powerless to stop it.
and the white dust looking creatures from the dark world, might of been monsters that the Bad-Kris, had took there before...
but hopefully that theory is incorrect.
while the red soul, can still be the Player’s Proxy-Soul, it could still end up being the soul of the Kris from another world, before being placed in the Kris from Deltarune.
it can also turn out that Asriel had two adoptive human siblings, one of them being Chara and the Other being Kris.
but the Kris from Undertale, was forgotten, but it might be possible that only Asgore can remember them, or maybe he only remembers Chara.
Kris from Undertale being forgotten, could have to do with Alternation to the timeline of that world, and giving everyone there a false memories mixed with the real memories...
like it turning out Asgore never really killed any of the humans, because in the true pacifist ending, if we go back down to the basement, we will see that all the coffins (but the one with the red heart on it...) are all fully open.
this could mean that the human children, are brought back to life.
and maybe, they could of became Noelle, Catti, Berdly, Jockington and Susie.
there was the need of seven human souls to free all the monsters....
and if we don’t count Snowy, Monster Kid or even Temmie that is seen in Alphys’s class in Deltarune or the ones that appear in Undertale...
it could be possible that Noelle, Catti, Berdly, Jockington and Susie, we all originally human and were adopted by monster families.
and having Berdly, Susie, Noelle, Catti, Jockington and Kris put all together...
that well, that makes six, but for all we know, it could be possible the seventh human child to be “reborn” as a monster, could be Papyrus.
so the little brother of Sans from Deltarune, could of originally been human.
it be interesting if Sans’s little brother from Deltarune, ends up being a new kid in Alphys’s class, and well they don’t really have that many desks.
so maybe they will have to add three extra desks.
Noelle, Catti, Berdly and Jockington from Deltarune, might of been adopted by their monster families, but were originally humans but had become monsters a bit early, but have no memories of their human families.
Kris, the one from Undertale, could of been given a new start in life when they are placed into the body of Kris that was originally from Deltarune.
but in the light world, during the night, the original Kris would take back full control and rip UT-Kris’s soul out and place them either under the sink or in a cage.
Kris is still a good person, and the Player can have the choice to let them still be them without making them go all Geno Route.
it could be possible that the Kris, the one who was originally born in Deltarune, is different from the Kris from Undertale, and the rooms we can’t go in, in both Toriel and Asgore’s homes in Undertale, might of been rooms that belong to their youngest adoptive child, who they had named Kris...
in those rooms, might have a crib and baby toys, and pictures of Toriel, Asgore, Asriel, Chara and Baby Kris.
also it might be possible that the statue that is used as a memory of Asriel, might be more than just a statue and could be Prince Asriel’s body.
like even if the monsters do turn to dust when they die, it might be more than just that.
like while their physical body turns to dust, and their soul is suppose to disappear....but what if it turns out Chara’s soul might of kept the rest of Asriel’s original body from turning to dust with the other part of him...
or maybe, only half of his dust ended up falling and becoming Flowey, while Chara’s consciousness had split into two, one staying in their original soul that would be taken to the true lab, and the other becoming Flowey.
so that would mean that Flowey is both Chara and Asriel, or at least half of their original selves.
if this theory were true, then it could mean that the Chara part of Flowey might have amnesia, but once Flowey realizes that they are Chara, well half of Chara.
the memories of Chara’s human life will come back to them, and Flowey will finally understand why Chara hated humanity so much.
while Asriel in Deltarune is possibly still alive, but if the statue that was the fallen prince’s body from Undertale, were to end up in the dark world....
that would bring Prince Asriel back to life, but sadly if he leaves for the light world, he would be back to being a statue.
it could be possible that Flowey has always been Chara, their red soul might of ended up in that flower that would become Flowey, and when some of Asriel’s dust fell before becoming a statue, it ended up causing Chara’s soul to form a type of Imposter Syndrome, as well as Amnesia.
some of the dust that became a part of Flowey, is still Asriel, but it doesn’t have his soul, so it isn’t fully him, and only a few of his dust ended up on that flower that would have Chara’s soul that will become Flowey.
the red soul that is used to power the true lab, might turn out to be a artificial soul that was made by Doctor Gaster, by using magic cloning technology.          it could turn out that the red soul that is placed in Kris, might turn out to be another artificial soul clone of the original Chara.
Flowey has the original Chara’s soul, because their soul was the first one to be placed in the flower that would become Flowey, and when the flower was injected with determination, it caused Chara to get amnesia of their original self and with their siblings memories becoming a part of them, they formed a imposter syndrome.
even when they transformed into a copy of their brother, which might be thanks to the monster souls of their parents and the dust that had the original prince’s memories...
while in some timelines Flowey isn’t Chara and doesn’t have their soul...
but it could be possible in the true main timeline of the game, in all routes.
Flowey is Chara, but they have amnesia thanks to the experiments that were performed in the true lab.
because they end up remembering through the eyes of their sibling, Flowey started to believe they were Asriel, but they only have some of his dust that were absorbed into the flower, and when Chara’s soul and determination ended up in the flower that had Asriel’s memories...
it caused the True Original Chara to forget who they were and form a imposter syndrome where they believed they were originally Asriel.
it could be possible that Flowey’s true memories could come back to them while in the underground, as well as memories about how it was the cinnamon that they deadly allergic to had been the cause of their death, as Asriel was getting the flowers, but Chara never got to use them in the plan.
the other part of the title for this theory, was slightly different before.
but then the idea of the plot twist that Flowey is the Original Chara came to mind....
anyway besides the theory that Flowey is Chara who thinks they are Asriel and got amnesia and imposter syndrome thanks to those who were working in the true lab...
it might be possible that Kris, without the Player’s red soul in them.
might hold some dark secrets about them that might be revealed in the future.
the true Kris in the game, is the one who doesn’t have the two hairs on their head stick up, is the True-Kris. and if the red soul is a artificial soul clone of Original Chara’s soul, then they could be from Frisk who was the original vessel before True-Kris, and the red soul did end up being taken to the other world....that would mean Frisk will have their true self back in control, and that Frisk was originally from the Hard Mode Timeline.
and the Frisk from the Hard Mode Timeline, without the player’s influence, was no angel.
Sans from Deltarune, might of took his brother and a few others, to escape when Frisk’s original self started to resurface.
without the Player and the red soul, to keep Frisk from messing with the timeline and doing a No-Mercy runs whenever they pleased...
no one was truly safe, and it could turn out this could happen on the surface, and Frisk found a way to keep from going back underground.
Sans going back in the underground even if everyone was free, could mean he was going to try to fix the machine, so he and his little brother could leave for Deltarune, and only some timeline versions of Sans was fully successful.
there can be different theories about Kris, and we wont know which is the true Kris, until maybe in one of the future chapters of Deltarune.
but one of the theories about the original Kris before the red soul is placed in them....is that original Kris holds a dark secret about them, which might be revealed in the future. so yeah, there is more to them than we think and they are not what they seem. not all fans have to agree on every theory being possibly true.
like the theory I have that is about how Kris didn’t eat the whole pie at first, and had left the house and broke into the library and open up the dark fountain in the computer room before heading home and eating all the pie.

i rambled off about sans and papyrus not being skeletons, so heres anothed quick thought:
how screwed would the undertale cast be if they actually came to the surface? in the credits we see them having fun, going to the beach, preforming acts, driving cars, etc, but if we looked at it from a more realistic standpoint, would it really be like that?
a lot of people are pretty mean, and coming from the fact that monsters were forcibly put down into the ground after a big war, im sure the undertale universe's version of conservatives would hate monsters. They could get targeted and attacked, especially depending on where they actually are on earth.
another thing, its not really going to be the monster population reuniting with humans. its more like a big family of out-of-towners moving into a strange place. why? because the population of monsters is INCREDIBLY TINY. we know there are millions of humans on the planet, and according from the genocide route, theres about,, i dunno, 100 monsters. thats barely ANYTHING. most CITIES contain hundreds of thousands of people! the undertale cast really is just one giant family.
unless of course, theres more? we are only ever looking at mount ebott in the story. are there other monsters across earth? maybe other parts of the world also had monsters shoved underground. maybe some were completely put to extinction in that area. maybe some are still on the surface but enslaved. maybe some actually live in harmony? maybe theres a town or city or even a whole country thats ran by ONLY monsters!!
maybe, just maybe, mount ebott really is the only source left of monsters on the entire planet. maybe the bloody war they faught really WAS just that terrifyingly genocidal, and there was just barely a scrap left of the monster population.
heres another thing i thought of just as i was writing about this post; why do they want to reach the surface so badly? they all seem to hate humans, and yet the thing they want to do the most is escape onto the surface, a place full of terrifying humans that are well over than 20× the size of their tiny monster population. AND more powerful. they know the humans hated them, and we know for a fact that the rumor of the monsters being hidden in the mountain still exists, so we know society is aware of it. and we know for a fact that no humans, other than frisk IF you chose the pacifist route, EVER came to their rescue to try to give it a second shot.
those monsters were buried away forever, COMPLETELY. the humans wanted them GONE.
so is it really safe to go back? do you think maybe the humans attacked them again and they had to go back underground? Asriel was a kid, a recent kid from what im aware of, and when he and frisk (or chara? i dunno much about the geno route so idk chara very well) went to the surface breifly all the humans in the town viciously attacked him. Humans, the ones surrounding mount ebott at least, are probably dangerous.
but then again, maybe monsters were bad first? in the pacifist route they use frisk as an embassador and are then shown frolicking on the surface, and in the monolog about asriel and frisk/chara's sad death it mentions that the humans attacked asriel because they thought he killed the human child, so perhaps it was just self defense? maybe most humans are good and are simply just scared.
i am going on and on about this and im honestly becoming very braindead and have forgotten what i was talking about several times while writing this post, so I'll end it here and add on later if i think of anything.
for now, heres just some random thoughts poured off of my mind. thanks for reading this far :)

MORE deltarune spoilers because i just finished playing from ch1-2 on a complete save file
ok so first things first:
1. spamton: i thought about it, looked around some more, and yknow how the butler in the queen's mansion cafe (after the fight) talks about how he built that body for a lightner? im pretty sure the lightner in question is mettaton. or, the ghost that Becomes mettaton. with spamtons final form being "spamton neo", the resemblance to mettaton neo in the geno route of undertale, and mettaton still being a ghost in deltarune, im pretty sure that mettaton had wished for a body like that, and the darkner running the cafe answered that wish by making the machine found in the basement.
2. onion-san: after two years, i finally heard onion-san's secret. or, both secrets, actually lol. so apparently onion-san has been hearing part of a song coming from deep under the water, and thinks that they'd heard the entire song before, out deep in the ocean. explicitly says that it's not a new song. they then say theyre going to investigate more and to come back tomorrow (ch3) to hear what else they'd found out. i have two theories about this, one, being that the song that onion-san is hearing is from the humans, and two, that the song is from the darkners.
the human theory is something ive been thinking on since i started replaying deltarune. im pretty sure this world is a timeline where the humans lost the war mentioned in the intro to undertale, and were sealed underground instead of the monsters as a result. the bunker is possibly the entrance to the underground, and kris somehow got out. kris's dialogue about humans seems to imply something dark, with the book about humans on the top floor of the library (accessible in ch2) having "pictures of unfamiliar humans", to which kris immediately slams the book shut. snowy and monsterkid, in ch2, down at the bunker mention that kris knows something about the bunker, and that whatever is in there is scary. this could be another entrance to the dark world (now that we know kris can open them as the knight) but it could also be the underground, where all the humans have been sealed inside of. humans also seem to be relatively unknown and somewhat of mythological creatures, with movies being made about them, and one of the npcs in the apartments asking questions to kris about if their blood hurts/where skeletons come from if humans have them inside of them.
the darkner theory is less thought out on my part, but still possible. the further underwater you go, the darker it gets. its possible that there might be an entrance to the dark world underwater, or maybe the dark world is simply part of the real world, and just unknown/hidden away. this could also tie into the bunker possibly being an entrance to the dark world, and might be the "true" entrance, but its been locked and so the worlds are separated. in ch1, (if i remember correctly) seam and the king mention how the lightners locked them away, and that the dark world wasnt always like this. ralsei also mentions that the lightners and darkners used to live side by side, almost symbiotically, with the lightners giving the darkners purpose and the darkners helping the lightners fulfill their journeys/wishes. if kris knows about it, its possible this isnt kris's first adventure in the dark world, and probably was alone the first time. i can see how that would be terrifying for anyone, let alone a child. kris probably locked the bunker so that no one else would get stuck in there/none of the darkners would come out. it could also possibly be that the "true"/"real" kris wants to release the darkners, but us as the player sealed the bunker somehow, hence why kris keeps removing our control and opening new fountains. there isnt as much to go off of with this theory as the human theory, but i think theyre both possible.
3. ok enough lore talk i have to mention it. THE DUCK. in ch1 when you make the thrash machine you can make a duck, and it sucks, and susie and lancer blow it up. the end. BUT IN CH2, ROUXLS KAARD BRINGS THE THRASH MACHINE BACK AS A BOAT. and if you played through from ch1-2 and got to customize the machine/make it into a duck, theres different text!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
AND. to make matters even better, when you fight giga-queen at the end of ch2, and the thrash machine is modified into a mecha for you to fight her in, you ALSO get a special ability if your thrash machine was a duck! i forgot to grab a screenshot, but its similar to the standard laser upgrade in the act menu, except it (supposedly) sucks. i did notice that the duck version, in addition to attacking, also heals you when you activate it? which is great. all in all, i suggest playing from ch1 so that you can get the duck thrash machine. 10/10
4. the saddest news, papyrus: even if you tell sans you'll hang out with his brother tomorrow in ch1, you still cant meet papyrus in ch2. sans says to come back when asriel comes back to town (which is a whole can of worms, because sans shouldnt know asriel yet since hes new in town. unless toriel blabbed about him while fucking befriending him) which will probably be chapter 6/7 :( i miss papyrus so much im very sad about this.
i think thats it, but then again theres so much that hasnt been explored yet. this is just my thoughts/stuff ive encountered in my playthrough. very hyped for ch3 sjkdgfksdhfhj

someones prob already thought of this but i wonder if we're not the only ones controlling kris? we have a pretty good idea of what kris is actually like now, and they dont seem like the type to want to destroy the world–or even risk it like that (unless ralsei told them something different?). i think they genuinely care about toriel, asriel, susie, etc. maybe the connection at the start of ch1 let someone else in who opened the fountains? and dont get me started on the secret route
okay i just posted a shit ton about the secret route, and im starting to suspect the player isn't really "us" anymore, but a real character with an Agenda. like, they KNOW things in that route about how the world works that we the real audience couldnt know (in undertale this sort of thing can be explained by chara, and in deltarune it's usually kris' knowledge, but here kris definitely doesn't know those things either). geno!player seems almost like an entirely different entity to regular!player (which is just...us), and i dont know what to make of that, but it's WEIRD.
anyway tho idk about someone else controlling them. i'm thinking that their actions without the soul present (opening the fountains, uh. slashing toriel's tires) have a good reason behind them, we just don't know it yet. i don't trust ralsei's explanation either, so idk.

To the creator of this ask: I personally think that Undertale Chara is the punishment of the Player, and the reason they killed Sans, Asgore, and Flowey at the end is because when someone is soulless they will need someone to show them both how the world works and what's morally ok. Which is why Flowey turned insane. And since Chara had the Player, their personality and morals change depending on the route they do. I think at the end of the run Chara realized that the Player was in the wrong and tried to kill them, so they pretended to be with the Player and suggest if they destroy the world. But in reality they just wanted to kill the Player and put an end to the madness. Which is why there attitude before and after they killed frisk are so different, because there was no reason to keep acting anymore. So what do you think about this idea?
Chara is a human child who lived with Asriel, Toriel and Asgore many years ago. They came to the underground for a "sad reason." They are not the best person, but who is? They had fun with Asriel and made scary faces. They accidentally poisoned Asgore with buttercups and laughed it off.
They sacrificed themselves so Asriel could take their soul, cross the barrier and get enough souls to free everyone. They carried their body to the village they came from. They wanted to fight the humans who attacked, but listened to Asriel when he said he didn't want to. They and Asriel died together in the throne room.
(Supposing they are the narrator) In a pacifist scenario they often use jokes and puns to describe the environment and people. They are playful and helpful. ("Maybe there is something else you can save")
I don't know quite as much about geno but if I remember, the narration is much colder and stiffer, such as calling Papyrus "forgettable" and calling monster kid "free exp" (if I was trying geno, it would be simply to research the differences like this for myself. But I Really don't think I can kill anyone, even like a froggit) there are times when Chara takes control. I think this is them saying "well you killed this much, why are you hesitating now? Might as well go all the way" and then you go all the way.
You killed everyone. Congratulations, partner. I think Chara's reaction at this point is hurt and pain. You killed their family. You killed the monsters they wanted to save. You don't deserve control. So they do a scary face. It's a lot easier since they are a ghost. Maybe in the next life you will choose pacifist, maybe not. Either way, from now on they will be there at the end, watching. Remining you of what you did.
Interestingly "Frisk" isn't you, but neither is Chara. Flowey asks the player using the name the player gives Chara "[Player], let Frisk live their life. Let Frisk be happy." He thinks that Chara was the one in control (during pacifist) but he is wrong. But this also implies that Frisk is also happiest during pacifist. In geno, I think Chara knows that it's the Player, not Frisk who did everything. They don't actually kill Frisk, they just jump scare the one responsible, making it seem like death.
As for Flowey going crazy. That has nothing to do with the player. It happened before you arrived. Being soulless, being able to die and revive. Not facing real or permanent consequences. Exhausting every possibility. Becoming bored. That drove him crazy.

Basic Undertale AU Info- RandomizerTale
                                                   The Story
With each reset everyone (other than frisk/chara, gaster, and maybe flowey) are randomized as different character roles. The characters still look the same and have the same names, but they act and talk as the characters they are playing as. They still have their same basic powers (except for sans who can't maintain his knowledge of resets outside his role), they just act different.
Think of it as a randomizer mod. The same art and battle assets, just different dialogue.
Sans gets nerfed for whoever he's playing as though.
The only one who realizes is the character playing as sans. Since the sans has an unnatural ability to remember every resets, this ability is transferred to who is sans and gets multiplied as they'll remember not only the pov of every sans before, but of their own povs as other characters as well. This multiplication increases exponentially to the point that sans is basically an amalgamation of everyone's povs in the underground.
The Sanses are also proficient in all types of magic now (as the body allows of course [if in Sans bod he still tired with 1hp bro and Undyne sans is an absolute BEAST] and depending on who else has been sans before). This means that genocide fights get progressively harder and harder each time a reset happens and dialogue changes too depending on who is playing sans (pap genocides usually end pretty fast though [despite everything he thinks the human can do better]).
Eventually the randomization just so happens to land on the original configuration of monsters. Seeing his chance for it to go back to normal, Sans,  with everyone's pov of the resets, teleports to frisk at the beginning of the route and  confronts/begs frisk to stop the madness: pleading them to be better person (paps), to stop hurting the ones they love, to let them to finally live on the surface instead of just looking at it,  to just stop the resets altogether and to let this be their final reset.
After the final reset, Sans is still sans but he has EVERY monsters pov of past resets (boss and minor monster alike). Once the resets end, he isn't everyone shoved into one body, but sans with a recollection of everyone's pov of past resets. IT IS NOT D.I.D!!!! Of course he knows that he himself is sans, but he might have random episodes where he does/says things that other characters would say/like/do (ex: pose like mettaton, make a puzzle, gush like alphys over his interests, drink tea...you get the idea) due to him being forced to play as other characters in other resets. (Other chars in the au don't have this happen to them cause they don't remember previous resets)
When he is talking about past experiences during the resets, he flips between pronouns and from first/third person (I, we, she, he, they) in order to get some of feelings across (I as Sans, we as everyone's pov of resets, and others as specific people's povs).
                                                   “Episodes”:
His episodes can be broken by a) someone telling him that's not how he is,  b) physical interference (ex: slap, tripping, sleep), c) him having a dissociating moment where he's like “wait a minute...”, and d) he finishes the action the episodes requires of him.
Some episodes are harder to recognize (specially ones with no final action/goal in mind. For example: getting anxious over social interaction like alphys vs making a butterscotch pie.) Episodes don't overlap each other, so he could be his sans personality while making a pie, making different jokes based on an interest change, or just extruding mettaton confidence/self-absorption).
There are certain episodes that he doesn't mind very often and will actually complete it even after he breaks out of it, specifically the task episodes like making pie/spaghetti/tea. He's learned to really like that stuff.
Some episodes that he particularly hates are when he acts/speaks like mettaton or temmie, nervously word vomits like alphys (cause there's no filter and he can say stuff he doesn't want to be said out loud [he a secretive guy]), and when he acts like Jerry because eewwwwww.
To apologize or explain his behavior after an episode he calls it the (insert character) in me or my inner (insert character).   "welp my inner toriel came out again..." "sorry, kiddo, that was just the undyne in me..."
Ones he hates or are improperly timed, he sometimes just insults the characters though. "f-ing mettaton..." "alphys I like you but whyyyyyy" "*gags* ...Jerry"
Types of episodes: social (acting or talking like someone), thoughts (interests or ideals) (he HATES this one the most as it makes him feel less like him), physical (task or long-lasting [long-lasting like dancing/ posing/working out]). (Keep in mind that social and physical episodes keep sans ideas/thoughts/interests intact, he just communicates them in a way another character would say them.) Specific social or physical episodes can be triggered with high emotions (though most of the time it's just random). Extreme anger can bring out the undyne in him, fear/nervousness alphys, adoration paps, depression nabstablook, worried for someone else toriel, and so on.
                                              Some Fun Facts:
Fun facts: Sans gets headaches after an episode where he acts/thinks like someone else. The severity usually depends on how long the episode is and how out of character is for him.
Fun facts 2: Following the logic of post reset sans, other characters playing as sans will think and act like the original char they are supposed to be but with sans personality. Unless episodes happen... (EX: Toriel goat jokes, undyne fish jokes.) So it leads to different character interactions where an undyne sans is more pissed off at frisk and more prone to violence. Paps sans more encouraging to be a better person. Other chars as sans also get episodes and headaches if they act like other chars other than themselves (disregarding sans cause they are supposed to be sans.).  Bruh does this get complicated...
Fun facts 3: The other char’s povs only start once frisk falls underground so sans doesn't know how toriel felt leaving ashore or pap waiting outside undyne’s house to join the royal guard. That means his episodes and knowledge of others chars reset feelings/actions during povs are strictly based upon the duration the timeframe that frisk is underground.
Fun facts.4: The sanses in all the reset always has a soft spot for paps. They know that he ain't their bro but the code just has that as a priority for the sans. (Paps as sans is like my bro loves me ;n;.)  They enjoy it when paps is playing alphys in genocide routes cause at least they know he won't die that route.
Fun facts 5: In an alternate version of this au when frisk ignores sans's plea for it to be their final route, sans would most likely snap and go crazy and just straight up try to murder the kid over and over again regardless if they were going to do a pacifist or geno route until they agree to his terms or until he dies (and he'll do it for all future resets [except for maybe pap sans???])  Who knows a Dusttale (see  @ask-dusttale ) might even happen but the version of sans would feel less guilty bout it cause most other char povs would only confirm that other characters would just want frisk to suffer.
Fun fact 6: In another happier alternate version of this au, a version of sans confronts frisk earlier on, making them feel bad early and just wants everyone to go back to normal. So they constantly reset until they find the normal config for the final reset. The Sanses  in this route are pretty chummy with frisk. They are very tired of the resets regardless though (as it takes forever to land on the normal configuration) and sometimes halfheartedly bets with frisk who the next sans is going to be. The resets where everything is normal except for one monster are especially soul crushing for both the Sanses and frisk. They were so close!!!!!
                                                    Designs:
For the design of another chars as sans they might go out of their way in the assets and wear sans classic jacket to showcase that they are a sans and are aware of what's going on. So their normal outfits but with sans jacket on top.
Interesting info of  probability of a normal config happening in the randomizer:
~58 enemy types so 3364 (0.000297265% of normal config)
Or
~322 monsters total so 103684 configurations (0.0000096446896% of normal config)
(let me know if I did the math incorrectly :) )

Why does Noodle die before Neptune? Is to differentiate Underswap MH between Canonswap in a way? And I'm not sure if you heard of Undertale: Revenge, It's basically like Disbelief but less "Papyrus is super depressed and powerful for no reason" and more "How would Papyrus react if he lost all his pity and stuff for the human and fuses with-" Oops, spoilers... anyway, would Revenge/Disbelief still have Papyrus or no..?
the reason is not quite that cool and unique of me actually, ahah
to start with, the reason I liked the idea in the first place was thanks to this animation by caramellocrackers, and at the time I didn’t really consider my version of Underswap anything more than some headcanons, so when I saw that I reblogged it to my main like ‘this broke my heart but headcanon accepted’ or something to that effect. it’s still a very sad and cool animation :’>
over time though the personalities I built for the Swap bros started to solidify more and that specific idea didn’t entirely fit what I’m going for; for instance Neptune doesn’t have UT Papyrus’ unwavering belief in a murderous human’s ability to be good, so him trying to convince Chara didn’t seem right. somewhere along the line I also thought about Sci-Fi (Swap Undyne) still being Undying and had that idea of Neptune teleporting Axe (Swap Alphys) away to safety, and eventually those individual pieces just kinda grouped together and I went ‘hey wouldn’t it be cool if the Swap geno route gradually resembled the UT geno route?’, and from there I just went as all-in on that as the circumstances allow.
tbh a lot of my ideas are less me being like ‘gotta do something Unique™’ and more ‘I just think that would be neat’ :D;;
as for the second part of your ask:
I hadn’t heard of Revenge before and it’s also worth mentioning I’ve never really looked into Disbelief properly either (there are some very good remixes I’ve heard but that’s about it), so I couldn’t really say how they would or wouldn’t work in a Swap MH equivalent… the reason Noodle confronts Chara is underneath his chill exterior (and even further underneath his social anxiety) he’s still fairly pure of heart and tries to believe anyone can be good, and in the event that Neptune died first (I’ve had a couple asks about what if he took the hit and I’ll try to give an answer next week) Noodle would definitely struggle to hold onto that belief. but beyond that I’m honestly not really sure how it’d go down with him as the final boss.
if anything, Neptune loses all faith in the human in Swap MH’s actual geno run events, and from what little I know of Disbelief that maybe sounds more similar than how it’d be for Noodle? but I don’t have a concrete answer either way, sorry!!

Spinel undertale is a game where you don't have to kill anyone there are 3 routs neutral you just go through the game, pacifist you go through the game befriending everyone and that leads to the true good ending and genocide were you kill everyone and that leads to the bad ending.
Tumblr media
Spinel💔:”well I’ll play pacifist route!!”
Tumblr media
Spinel💔:”and g-genocide...?!
Spinel shivers as she is reminded of what she did a few months back when she first came to earth
((Okay but real talk??? The pacifist route in UT actually helps Spinel heal a bit!! Her favourite character is Flowey/Asriel! And because no one in the beach house is capable of genocide, Spinel ends up watching a let’s player on tubetube of a geno! run and she cries, she cries badly when Flowey is killed, she knows he’s a fictional character and he’s not real but it hurts, it hurts a lot he’s like her in a way so she cried~Ducy))
((I’m not sure who her favourite deltarune character would be....I wanna say Susie but that’s literally only because she’s my favourite character lmaoooo, maybe Lancer???~Ducy))

I always wanted to ask someone who was a fan of both Homestuck and Undertale: how would each of the kids play Undertale? Who plays every path including the Geno run and who does only pacifist and then never plays again? (Also who kills Toriel on accident and then resets to save her because they feel bad?) I kinda want to ask about favorite characters of the characters, but that might be a little too esoteric.
HMMM. [potential game spoilers ahead]
dirk plays pacifist and neutral, gets partway through geno and becomes too upset to continue. stresses himself out thinking he should finish it, but can’t because it makes him feel too bad about himself. he would accidentally kill toriel but not reset because he would be committed to following his choices through, i think. favorite character… i think he would lowkey really like alphys.
jake would do neutral to pacifist, definitely not geno. i could maybe see him resetting to save toriel if he thought of it. he would do a neutral route the first time and get some LV i think. not in the ruins because the toriel telling you not to guilt is real but later on, when things get more frustrating and you keep dying. his favorite character is undyne. OBVS undyne. but he would like all of them, especially papyrus and alphys i think. flowey might be a bit close to home for both him and dirk, remind them a bit of the AR.
roxy plays all the routes and does excellently. defeats geno sans with unfair ease. probably does one of those really irritating no-hit runs where she gets thru geno without ever taking damage. people are slightly horrified by her laughing at parts of geno but she doesn’t give a shit. her favorites are the temmies. :3 but i think she would like undyne a lot too tbh.
janey… jane would play neutral, then pacifist, and then be done, i think. unless she was pissed when she was playing, but i don’t think she has the patience for geno. i could see her doing a high LV neutral route out of frustration and then feeling a bit guilty about it after. her favorite would be toriel and she’s definitely rooting for toriel and asgore not to get back together.
dave plays the pacifist run where you dont have to reset fully after photoshop flowey on account of never having killed anyone, because he heard that you can do a route like that and chose to not be attacking if he didn’t have to. would figure out the dodging + saying fun things bit pretty quick and have too much fun with it. his favorites are all the most hilarious random encounter monsters, sans, and nabstablook. and he races the snails too many times.
rose plays neutral, then geno, then pacifist, just to be contrary. betrays herself by thinking muffet’s fangs are hot. actually disliked geno a lot but played it so she can talk loftily about its implications and dirk can’t do shit if he wants to debate with her because he flunked out of it. maybe her favorite is chara for the moral ambiguity and being influenced by the player’s decisions. (i generally subscribe to chara as the narrator theory.) also flowey. she would like flowey.
karkat plays with the temmie armor. lmao. he complains the whole way about encounters being too hard but stays pacifist. he virulently complains about all the characters, calls toriel the only sensible one, and secretly likes mettaton.
i dont know if i have enough solid opinions on the other characters… jade would love that you can throw the stick for the dogs. she and jake both pet lesser dog until the depths of the universe are plundered. terezi might like asriel, but her favorite part would the the color tile puzzle. if john tried geno he’d fail out when you have to kill the dogs. callie probably just watches others play with mild bemusement, and her favorite is alphys.

Crossover AU: Sans’s Lion & Bubbled Monster Souls
----------------------------------
Credit for Deltarune & Undertale goes to Toby Fox
Credit for Steven Universe Series goes to Rebecca Sugar
------------------
while watching the episode where Lion first appears,
I got inspired to draw Lion as a Pink Skeleton with blue ethereal...?
I’m just gonna call it ethereal (I think it is a type of magic energy)
anyway like I was saying, Lion as a Pink Skeleton with a blue ethereal mane and even at the tip of his tail has the ethereal.
all the Monster Souls in Rose’s Room, are all the Monsters that were killed by Frisk, Sans bubbled them all and send them to Rose’s Room....which would technically be Steven’s and then Sans’s.
I was going to have the background be all black, but then I got the idea to have Lion in Rose’s Room.
the idea is that so long as the Souls remain in Sans’s Bubbles
they wont end up disappearing, and when Sans escape the Undertale Timeline and moved to the Deltarune Timeline,
he took his little brother, any other survivors and lastly
Lion and his Room that is known as “Rose’s Room”
like in a Steven Universe/Undertale/Deltarune Crossover AU.
Lion is kept instead and mostly keeps Papyrus company,
all while Sans is at work.
this version of Lion, when bring brought back to life a second time.
ends up getting a new ability, and that is being able to travel to different multiverses and AUs.
even to the place where Error-Sans & Ink-Sans normally hang out.
and maybe even where Core-Frisk is.
there could be different crossover versions of Lion,
at least I think there might be.
try picturing a Underfell version of Lion being really protective of Sans and any time Papyrus tries to make a grab for him or threatens him,
Lion would growl at him and hug Sans close to him in order to protect him from his Boss/Brother.
I still think if Sans and Steven are one in the same, then it is possible that how Steven become Sans can have different outcomes.
either he starting aging backwards when he is about to die,
and in his last moments he stops at the newborn age and he becomes a babybones and then is found by Mr & Mrs Wingdings
who adopt him, but also make him biologically related to them,
by taking each fragment of their souls and placing it into San’s Human Looking Soul which after the two fragments merge with San’s Human Soul, it transforms into a Monster Soul.
the Soul would also be “reborn” in a way, while still having traces of the Light Genetic Magical Makeup that makes up the Gem’s Essence.
as well as Steven’s Human Soul, which is now a Monster Soul.
it also has traces of Mr & Mrs Wingdings Genetic Magical DNA,
thanks to their two fragments being placed into Sans’s Soul,
and causing Sans to be fully reborn as a Monster and being reborn as Mr & Mrs Wingdings’s biological son, too.
I believe that the name “Wingdings”
is actually Gaster’s Family Name, this would mean that Sans and Papyrus’s full names are:
Wingdings Sans and Wingdings Papyrus.
just like how some humans have their family names come first,
it can be the same for monsters too.
so if this is true, then “Gaster” would not be the family name
but would technically be Gaster’s given name when he was born.
Lion could of been with the Baby Steven when Gaster and his wife,
found them (at the same spot Asriel finds Chara)
but instead of just being a skeleton, Steven could of still been human,
but after he left beach city,
he ended up deciding to check out mount ebott
but accidentally fell and when Lion sensed he was in danger,
he went to go save him but it ended up being too late.
Steven was age fluxing from when he was 14, 17 and even to middle age and elderly age.....but at his final breath, his last age flux stop at newborn Steven.
that was when Gaster and his wife came into the picture,
and notice the Lion had what appeared to be a human baby.
Gaster picks up the baby and notice the heartbeat had stop,
and with much convincing from his wife, the two decide to place a fragment piece from both of their souls into the newborn.
which caused not only the baby to brought back to life,
but it also caused the baby to transform from a human
to a skeleton monster baby.
which bewildered and shocked Lion and the Two Married Wingdings.
Gaster and his Wife [Redacted] decide to take the baby and even the Lion, home with them.
Gaster being a Doctor, did some tests and found out that by reviving the human baby with fragments of their souls, it caused the human soul to change into a monster soul and even have the baby become “reborn” as the Biological Son of the two of them.
there can be different ways that Steven becomes Sans,
this idea is just one of them.
plus when Steven becomes Sans and is reborn thanks to his new biological parents: Mr & Mrs Wingdings.
it also made him biologically related to his brother Papyrus.
and if there is a Gaster Jr. (because of the whole Gaster being Papyrus and Sans’s Brother too.) aka “Aster”
so not to confuse him with Gaster Sr...
he would of been at home during the time when his parents found Steven who would then be reborn as his new little brother Sans.
Sans could still have his Gem Powers, and when Lion ends up dying again....the Lion is brought back as Skeleton Monster thanks to Sans’s tears.
Sans could of brought Lion back to life when he was no more than 2 years old.
during this time Sans hasn’t yet remembered his past life as Steven Quartz Universe.
but at some point when Papyrus was a baby, his memories started to flood back to him and he remembered everything.
from his trauma that started in his childhood (Steven Universe)
to the breaking point he had a few years later (Steven Universe Future)
the only one he could talk to about it, would be the only one from his past still with him, and that would be Lion.
Sans’s Mom and Dad (Gaster and [Redact]) know very little about Steven’s past before he became their second son who they named “Sans”, all they know is that their magic and two fragments from each of their souls merged with his former human soul and brought him back to life and changed him from a human to a skeleton monster.
this version of Sans would end up having to move to the Deltarune Timeline, because the non-stop geno route that Frisk played through.
in the past resets, Sans didn’t think about saving everyone by placing their souls in bubbles, that is until he discovered he could
when he bubbled Papyrus’s Soul after Frisk killed him.
after figuring out that he could bubble monster souls,
Sans started to follow Frisk, and after they were finished killing a monster, Sans would then bubble them and send them to Rose’s Room.
any other monster that Frisk didn’t end up killing,
Sans would have them go into Lion’s Ethereal Mane.
knowing how Rose’s Room works, he knows it will likely try to make copies of the bubbled monster souls.
so in order to find them if they should get mixed up wit fake copies (that ends up being made by the room), Sans would have to use the new trick he learned, and that is using blue magic to grab at the souls.
if he tried to use the blue magic on a fake bubbled monster,
it wont react the same and will only burst into pink clouds.
he would then take the real bubbled monster souls
and place them in Lion’s Ethereal Mane.
when entering Lion’s new mane, at first glance it looks the same as how it was before, but now it is dark and the only thing that is the same is the two trees that belong to both Lion and Lars, as well as the small hill that has Rose’s belongings as well as the Portrait of Rose.
but the place is now in the Dark World/Void.
which means whenever someone goes in through Lion’s Ethereal Mane, their existence would be forgotten by the outside world.
the grass/hair/mane, could end up having the ability to have Darkners/Tulpa  not end up transform into inanimate objects as soon as they leave The Dark World/Void.
this can be because of the new magic of Lion’s Mane.
on one side that makes up Lars’s side, the grass and Lars’s tree are still pink, but has bits and pieces of blue leafs in the tree.
on Lion’s side, Lion’s tree is fully blue
and becoming what looks like a Echo Tree and the grass ends up being blue too. all being same color as Lion’s Ethereal Mane.
even if Lars’s tree and grass hasn’t changed very much, it still ends up in the Dark World/Void.
if Lancer ends up finding that new place in the dark world,
he would end up finding the spot in the blue grass/mane
that would lead him outside, like he would end up falling out of Lion’s ethereal mane.
but he wouldn’t end up turning into a inanimate object but instead stays how he is.
so any darkner (Headcanon Name of Race “Tulpa” )
ends up finding that place with those two trees, where one side of the grass is pink and the other blue.
going through them and ending up popping out of Lion’s Ethereal Mane, will let them be able to keep the forms they had in the dark world/void.
not everyone has to agree about the whole Dark World being the Void and it has the power to make those outside it forget,
and only those who have been to the void will remember Kris and Susie if they end up going back there again in Chapter 3, cause the whole Noelle and Berdly being to the Dark World/Void,
and if they both are still in Alphys’s class, and Kris and Susie went to the Dark World/Void.
only Noelle and Berdly would remember them.
it would explain why there wasn’t a search party for those two
and no one seem all that worried about them.
at least not until they remembered them when they came back from the Dark World/Void.
it is possible when Kris and Susie ended up in the Dark World,
those in their world, still remembered them but at the same time as a hour past the memories of those two became foggy and when a few hours past the memories of them all but faded.
but if Noelle and Berdly have been to the Dark World/Void,
they wouldn’t be effected and would be immune, same would be for anyone else who might end up going to the Dark World/Void.
I don’t think Ralsei is Asriel, but could still end up being technically a creation of his.
but even if I and other fans had theories that Ralsei might be a bad guy, that might not be true for the real Ralsei that we meet in Chapter 1.
I believe the Ralsei we meet in Chapter 2, is a Fake and the real Ralsei is that Faux-Ralsei’s Prisoner and is being kept in a room we can’t get to yet.
another theory is that Ralsei is Flowey from one of the Geno Timeline from Undertale, when he ends up being killed by Frisk...
he doesn’t just cease to be, he ends up falling into the Dark World/Void and having a type of Amnesia, and when some of the essence of Asriel of Deltarune, entered into the dark world, it transformed that version of Flowey into Ralsei.
we know when Ralsei falls in battle, he at times will end up leaving behind just his hat and clothes, which makes you wonder what is under there and could it be dust?
it is likely Flowey is under there and whenever Ralsei falls in battle and there is nothing left of him but his hat and clothes, what is hiding in them might turn out to be Flowey.
that is just a theory after all.
anyway I’m going to go back to watching Steven Universe now.
see ya later and stay safe.
