Fluffy Alphabet Thing

I made a fluffy alphabet thing for anyone who wants to request headcanons for One Piece Live Action characters. I’ll do Sanji, Zoro, Mihawk, Shanks, and Buggy. And maybe other characters if you ask nicely and I feel creatively capable.

I’ll make a section for this in my Masterpost, and cross out each character claim as it is made. Any name without color that has been stricken through has already been requested.

I ask that headcanon requests be limited to five letters per character. Can be all five characters, or just one or two of your choosing, whatever.

If you want a oneshot/drabble for a letter, I ask that you limit it to three characters per request and only one letter for all three characters.

This is very much for my sake to keep the creative spark going. Unambiguous headcanons help fuel my drive to continue stories/requests with more specific themes. So, have at it.

The September Dock

The summer is winding down and fall is creeping itself upon us. On my commute to work, I noticed that some leaves had already turned orange, but it was still hot like any other summer day. And midnight will close out August and begin September. With that, we gotta talk about…

The journey thus far…

Since I started this herculean task back in late June I have watched 17 episodes of One Piece. I enjoyed watching every episode of the show, despite how goofy it is, the show’s silliness is charming as an adult. Honestly, I think I am enjoying One Piece more now than when I was a younger anime enthusiast who listened to the opinions of various anime critics. That might be a topic for another time. I have identified two favorite characters so far Roronoa Zoro and Usopp, the former because he is an attractive character and the former because I can see myself a lot in him. Of course, I’m only one-sixth into the East Blue Arc and haven’t even cracked the grand narrative of One Piece. This will now lead to how I feel I performed for this blog and well… I definitely bit off more than I could chew. I had to come to grips that I am someone that is slow to adapt to new routines along with being terrible at not overworking myself to a quick burn-out. This has been a consistent problem, but I believe I have identified an effective solution I have played around with in August.

The journey going forward…

It is not too late to turn things around, I can continue this blog, but I also have to address, at least to myself, some serious hurdles. The main hurdle is I am increasing my workload where I will begin to work for about 55-60 hours a week. That increase in work will mean I will be able to be financially secure and will hopefully be less stressed about finances. Of course, this means a sacrifice in my hobbies, but we will get to the specifics of that in a bit. The secondary hurdle is that I want to return to my hobbies of writing and drawing again, I already have something big planned for September 6th (despite me botching it ;-;). It has always been a passion for me, but the hurdle comes from juggling those hobbies with working on this blog. Now let’s discuss that.

The goal of the journey…

The goal of this particular blog has always been to finish One Piece and with the latest developments in the story it is safe to say that One Piece will end “soon”. That means we can get a tangible number to complete One Piece which is a lot more reassuring than unknown. Some of my own personal goals are to create and maintain a routine and schedule as well as return to enjoying my hobbies.

Scheduling

As I have mentioned in my August update, for peace of mind I have chosen not to work on the blog or any hobbies when I have two appointments allotted for the day. With my workload increasing soon for the sake of my mental health this will be the case going forward. I can speculate if things go to plan I will be able to update the blog 2-3 times a week.

Reading and Writing

I like to read! I also like to write! Like most people. But seriously I want to get back into reading and writing, as both activities are fun for me. It’s fun to write down ideas and have my partner question my sanity after they read my stories. Also, reading is just good and fun to do and helps me become a better writer. Currently, my goal is to read Grady Hendrix’s entire fiction bibliography, I own all his books, and now is the time to read them. To tackle this, my idea is to write for 15 minutes every day and to read a chapter of a book before writing and after drawing.

Drawing

I want to draw! I just bought these colored pencils and it is so much fun playing with them. The feeling of adding life to line drawings is so satisfying. I have created this weird “learning” list of things to draw or do based on art YouTubers I follow. While it is slow I am in the process of learning anatomy and possibly being able to draw illustrations again. I also want to add art to this blog, but that will be a task for another time.

Luffy and Zoro, equality presented by Wano Arc...?

The feeling of equality between Luffy & Zoro has been sitting on my mind a lot lately, so I finally decided to write down my chaotic thoughts on that matter. 

First, to be precise: I’m not talking about power levels between Straw Hats because One Piece proved on many occasions that power alone is not a good measure how one character will fare in a fight or that beating X does not automatically guarantee beating Y. In Thriller Bark Perona took down Luffy, Sanji, Zoro and Franky without a problem, but lost to Usopp out of all people. At the same time, Luffy, Zoro and Sanji will always be the main fighters of Straw Hats no matter the gap of power between them. Everyone is powerful on their own, but they may fare better in different fighting settings. I personally tend to think that Luffy and Zoro are closer to each other in terms of power, raw strength and will, but this is not exactly the matter of equality I wish to talk about. What I wish to talk about is how the Wano arc set Luffy and Zoro apart from the rest of the crew in a more tangible (visual) way.

Even before Wano Arc, Luffy and Zoro were singled out by narrative on various occasions. The most memorable is: the first meeting with Shichibukai (and Mihawk acknowledging them both), taking a beating in Mock Town to Nami’s dismay and Bellamy Pirates’ amusement, earning the title of Supernova and with that becoming part of the Worst Generation, independently attacking Charlos/Tenryūbito (though sadly, Zoro was stopped by Bonney) or killing together a dragon on Punk Hazard. In all cases, Luffy and Zoro were set apart from the rest of the crew and even other pirates, sharing unspoken understanding of other actions and needs or becoming a part of something bigger and more dangerous. 

Luffy will always be the captain (leader) and as the main character, the hero saving the day at the end of the arc. At the same time, Zoro may never be officially called the vice captain by other crew members (which is fair, Straw Hats Pirates don’t care nor have any need for ranks) but narrative puts him as the protector of crew (i.e. Kuma), the leader in the absence of Luffy what consistently is marked by narrative boxes (i.e. “Zoro team”,”Zoro side”) and the layout of frames (Zoro taking the central position that normally belongs to Luffy) or even having some confrontation with the final boss (Arlong, Hody). Zoro is also treated like the voice of reason; even if his words are harsh and emotionless, he will speak what must be said for the Luffy and crew’s sake (Alabasta, Davy Back Fight Arc, Water 7, Enies Lobby, Zou). He is also the one that provides Luffy comfort and support in dire situations (Usopp leaving the crew). 

Luffy cares equally about his nakama, yet the narrative likes to single out Zoro as someone usually standing by him but also as someone taking Luffy’s position of captain very seriously. Further details adding to the feeling of equality set up by narrative include the visuality of their most notable scars (under left eye/left eye and middle of chest), the running joke of people mistaking Zoro for an actual captain of Straw Hats Pirates or acknowledging him as a dangerous “beast”, Luffy and Zoro’s very similar mindset and attitude towards fighting powerful enemies and all the parallels in which both captain and first mate* did the same things on various points in the manga or color spreads/covers (x)(x)(x)(x)(x)(x).

In general, the story established how despite their different nature of extrovert and introvert,  Luffy and Zoro are similar when it comes to the serious and trivial matters about whose I could talk for days. What is vital though, for years such treatment of Zoro created the feeling of equality between him and Luffy. Not in the power sense per se because narrative has never been objective about that, but how they progress from rookies to men getting closer and closer to fulfilling their dreams.

And now the Wano Arc seems to single them out in ever more visible ways.

For one, anime dropped the individual eye catchers for the whole crew, except for Luffy and Zoro. At the end of each, all Straw Hats are showed standing together:

In both cases, Zoro is on Luffy’s right and both carry similar looking katanas: Kitetsu II and Sandal Kitetsu III. The swords may have different colors, but their tsuba have the same patterns, which double the feeling of equality between those two. 

Manga provides similar moments, starting with chapter 912

and cover of volume 91 (which was used for Luffy’s eye catcher apparently) and inside illustration included in volume 92

Then from all the crew, only Luffy and Zoro were pretending to be ronin (the masterless samurai), seen in box info

while the rest Straw Hats played the role of ninja (Chopper), kunoichi (Nami), ghost (Brook), geisha (Robin), toad oil salesman (Usopp), carpenter (Franky) and soba cook (Sanji). Even Law, another Supernova and equal to Luffy, hid his identity pretending to be some sort of wandering monk. And thinking logically, Law would be better ronin because unlike Luffy, he knows how to use sword in fight. 

Another visually prominent detail - Zoro and Luffy are the only one Straw Hats who have kimonos with ornaments resembling the sun that may be a symbol of the coming dawn, foretold by Lady Toki. A dawn that will end Kaido and Orochi’s reign on Wano.

Luffy’s ornament is straight taken from the crest of the Kozuki clan (and resembling the symbol Alabasta Kingdom). I have much more to tell about Zoro’s design but that will need wait for another time. For now, though it looks much sharper is no less reminiscent of the same solar symbol. Adding to the sign their status of ronin and we may call Luffy and Zoro, figuratively speaking, the samurai bringing sun (hope, new era, peace) to a country plunged in darkness, most likely in nearest future fulfilling late Kozuki Oden’s desire to defeat Kaido and open Wano  to world.

Of course, all Straw Hats, Heart Pirates, Minks and people of Wano are working together to defeat Kaido but Luffy and Zoro were visually set apart from everyone from the beginning of the arc. There is also their personal, strong connection to Oden’s children: Momonosuke and Hiyori who both were very impressed and protected by Luffy (Momonsuke) and Zoro (Hiyori).

Another detail binding Luffy and Zoro more to Oden and setting them apart from the rest of characters are new things they have acquired through the course of the arc. Namely, the better understanding & advanced techniques of Busoshoku Haki (Luffy) and late Oden’s great sword Enma (Zoro). Both things are capable of hurting Kaido.

Usually, during the arc, Luffy gets separated from the crew for the longest part of the story. And indeed, he gets struck first in prison (where he managed to win over imprisoned there samurais) and now, during battle, is running to face Kaido escorted only by Jimbei and Sanji (who wandered away in chapter 997). Surprisingly, Zoro too was separated by quite a long period of time, in which he met and befriended Yasue, Hiyori and Toko before he rejoined the crew for the final battle. Luffy and Zoro are the Straw Hats that openly admit they want to face Kaido in fight.

Another detail setting them apart from the rest of the crew: interacting with (and in case of Zoro, beating down) other Supernovas. They met Hawkins at the beginning of arc and fought him (Sanji too, met Hawkins and Drake once in public baths but ran away, securing Nami, Robin and Shinobi well being), then Killer and Kid before and during battle, Apoo and Drake which whom they had small crash, but now Drake were working with Roronoa against Apoo. Ironically, Drake is a friend with Coby who is a friend of both Luffy and Zoro. Coby literally met those two before Nami debuted. Also, the Supernovas allied with Luffy are learning in hard way that dealing with Zoro is not less stressing that working with Luffy.

How the Wano arc will turn out will show the upcoming chapters, for now though, not only Straw Hat has a strong connection to people of this land. For one, there is Tama, that both Luffy and Zoro came to like very much and literally started wreaking havoc in enemy territory because of her. Twice. Then there is mentioned connection to Oden - symbolic samurais of dawn and carrying Momonosuke and Hiyori’s wish to defeat Kaido and save the country but also Zoro’s personal connection to Shimotsuki clan that was hinted time after time and briefly explained in SBS that may or may not play bigger role, especially since Shimotsuki clan support Kozuki family. Which only adds to the whole connection between Luffy and Zoro and (good) people of Wano.

I feel like Wano arc was set up to establish the equality of Luffy and Zoro, not in the power sense that so many fans love to argue about, but as the relationship between them. Not just as captain and (powerful) subordinate but more like partners, the way Roger and Rayleigh or Kid and Killer are seen. The manga put a lot effort in creating parallels and the visual similarity between those two characters to dismiss the potential hints of Luffy and Zoro slowly falling apart from the crew in the sense of the role they will play in this and maybe future arcs.

My heart melted and my ovaries exploded. I fell hard that night.

Zoro slammed the door of his shitty car and tried to erase the tension he felt from this shitty day, which happened to be the cherry on top of his really shitty fucking week. All he wanted was to lay on the couch and drink until Sanji got home, and then maybe the chef could take him to the bedroom and help him unwind.

But apparently his plans would have to wait. Because as Zoro approached the door to the place he shared with his boyfriend (who should still be at the restaurant) extremely loud and extremely cheerful music assaulted his ears.

“Fa lalala la, lala la la!” Sanji sang loudly, twirling over the moment Zoro opened the door and kissing his boyfriend on the cheek before dancing off again, trailing tinsel and garland in his wake.

“What the fuck?” Zoro managed to ask once he’d recovered from his surprise. It looked like the spirit of Christmas had projectile vomited all over their apartment.

Sanji pointed above Zoro’s head from where he stood at the bar before expertly mixing something in the cocktail shaker. “Mistletoe,” he explained brightly, apparently mistaking Zoro’s general astonishment for confusion over the fleeting peck he’d given as a greeting.

“I was kinda more what the fuck-ing over hurricane Christmas,” the green haired man specified, surveying the damage.

An artificial fir tree stood half assembled in one corner of the modest apartment, taking the place of a chair and end table that were now pushed to the side, giving the small space a much more crowded feel. Zoro knew how disappointed Sanji had been that morning when they learned they couldn’t have a real tree in their apartment complex, but he hadn’t expected the blonde to go out and buy a fake one the very same day. Scattered around the base of the partially put-together tree were boxes of ornaments, strands of multi-colored lights, tinsel, and an unsettling amount of red bows. Lengths of garland with white lights artfully wound into them were laid out on the couch, and Zoro couldn’t help but sigh as he realized he wouldn’t be able to occupy that furniture as soon as he’d hoped. The table was covered in a snowflake patterned cloth, with a holiday centerpiece in the middle, and Sanji had even hung lights from the bar and the island in the kitchen. He must have been decorating for hours.

“Here,” the chef said, pushing a glass of dark liquid with a thick white foam, which had some kind of pattern on top,  into Zoro’s hand. “Try this.”

Zoro had long since learned that it was best to just try whatever Sanji handed him without question, so he dutifully took a tentative sip. It was pretty good. “Hmm. What is it?”

“I saw it on pintrest. It’s called “Deco the Halls.” Not bad, huh?”

“Not bad at all,” Zoro agreed, causing the chef to brighten noticeably. “So, uh … what’s the deal here, Curly? Were you planning to actually decorate, or just, you know … get out every Christmas thing we own? Wait … do we own this shit? There’s at least twenty things here I don’t recognize.”

The cook stuck his tongue out but otherwise didn’t rise to the bait. Which was kinda strange. “You wanna help?” he asked. And damn, was it just Zoro, or did his boyfriend sound really hopeful?

“Uh, sure, I guess? Whaddaya want me to do?”

Sanji placed his hands on his hips and examined the trashed living room. “Can you hang the garland? The stuff on the couch? I want it around the windows.”

“Yeah, okay.”

As Sanji busied himself with assembling the tree, Zoro grabbed some garland and started stringing it around the windows. After that was done, Sanji instructed him to replace all their regular throw pillows with the more festive ones he had found on sale when he went to get the tree. Then he enlisted Zoro’s help with putting lights up on said tree, once it was fully put together. The two worked with minimal talking, just humming along with the carols blasting from the stereo and focusing on their tasks. But before he knew it, the stress of Zoro’s hectic week had practically melted away, and he found himself smiling, all plans of lounging on the couch long forgotten.

“You’re in an awfully good mood,” Sanji remarked carefully after Zoro had playfully stuck a bright red bow in the blonde’s hair. “I thought you might be mad that I trashed the place.”

Zoro shrugged. “It’s not like you weren’t gonna clean it. Besides,” he added, taking a moment to appreciate their now mostly re-assembled living room, “it looks really good now.”

“Yeah?”

Nodding, Zoro slid an arm around Sanji’s waist and pulled him closer. “Yeah. And this ...” he pointed up to the second bunch of mistletoe he’d secretly hung from the ceiling directly above where they stood, before kissing his favorite chef deeply. “... this is something I can definitely get used to.”

Zoro:

You never were the kind of person to just go and nap somewhere. It didn’t quite make sense to you; why waste the day to sleep, when you have the whole night to do so? You’d rather lay somewhere and watch the sea or do something productive, maybe talk to your friends but sleeping when the sun was out? Never. At least before you meet a certain someone.

That someone, a green haired someone to be honest, was the reason you caught yourself sleeping day after day in the daylight. It was not that you wanted to sleep, it was just the warmth that came from his arms or the smell that lulled you into a light sleep and before you could catch yourself, you fell asleep.

Zoro didn’t mind though. Actually, he really did like to see you sleep, it was something that calmed him down and ever since the adventures of the strawhat crew got more dangerous by day, he found himself longing for something to calm his nerves, something that could make him relax, make him feel safe. That something was you.

“Zoro…”, you whisper from the side of the room he was currently in. “Don’t you think it’s enough? You’ll hurt yourself, if you don’t stop.”

You were worried sick. A few days ago, your boyfriend had gotten into yet another fight with Sanji, but this time, he must have said something that made his ego hurt. He had been training for days straight, barely talking to you, barely talking to anyone, actually.

“No, I won’t.”, he mumbled back, not bothering to look up to you from where he was seated, lifting weights as if his life depends on it. His skin was glistening with sweat, a sight that made you gulp, but you pushed those thoughts away quickly. Angrily you walked into the room.

“Yes, you will! Why do you suddenly care about what Sanji says to you?”, you crossed your arms over your chest. Yes, Sanji was your friend and one of your crewmates, but honestly? Both of them are just completely senseless when it comes to fighting each other. “Just, I don’t know, at least take a break from whatever you’re trying to achieve.”, you added a bit more softer.

“Cant.”, he whispered back, put the weights away and looked at you. For a second you could feel him muster you, his eyes wandering from the top of your head to your toes. “I need to show him that I’m better. And stronger. And better.”

“Seriously?”, you rolled your eyes, this was just too childish. “Please come and take a break, just ten minutes.”

“Five.”

“Seven.”

“Y/N..”

“Please?”, you tried again, this time trying your best to make him give in. “Let’s take a quick nap… just a tiny one.”

He hesitates, you stay silent. His gaze starts to wander, as if he’s trying to find an excuse to stay, but after a while you break the silence. “I won’t leave, if you don’t come with me.”

He stands up, sighing. He takes a towel and dries his sweat, but doesn’t care to do something else. The both of you leave the room, you smiling happily and him right behind you, groggily walking along and a slight blush on his cheeks.

The both of you enter your room, a bed in the corner just big enough for the both of you and a lot of plants all around you. Raindrops were quietly hitting against the little window, making the room look even cozier than before. You let yourself fall down on the bed, feeling the mattress shift from the weight on the right side of you, after he lets himself down as well.

“Just a few minutes.”, he reminds, his blush turning into a deeper color and his eyes staying glued onto the ceiling. “…not more, right?”

You hum quietly and lay your head onto his chest, your arm hugging him lightly from the side. For a second he freezes, even though he’s been in this situation with you for a million times now. After a while, he relaxes and hugs you as well, pushing you closer to his side. His hand slowly starts to stroke your hair carefully, afraid to break you.

“Just a few minutes…”, he mumbles again, barely making a sound as his eyes fall closed. You snuggle closer to him, inhaling his scent and humming quietly afterwards.

You don’t really care about him being a bit sweaty, you don’t really care about the footsteps echoing around the ship as your captain runs from one room into another. The only thing you care about is his steady heartbeat, how it speeds up every time you plant a little kiss on his chest and how his rhythm seems to match yours perfectly, even after you both fall asleep. Just a few minutes turn into half an hour, half an hour turns into one hour, one hour into two…

Luffy:

It had been a horrible day. A very horrible day, to be honest.

You were seated somewhere on the deck, watching the waves for what felt like hours now, even though it had only been about twenty minutes since Franky had left. The sun was glaring at you from above, making everything feel just a tiny bit worse.

The day had started perfectly: the sun waking you up, a deliciously made breakfast from Sanji, a beautiful little song by brook, a cute peck on the cheek from Luffy.. everything had been perfect. But then it happened.

You were walking around, not doing much in particular when you felt the first cramp. Stopping your walk, you hissed, but ignored it anyways, deciding that it probably wasn’t something to worry about. But you were wrong. The second cramp followed shortly after, the third one right behind.

Groaning in pain you had held onto your stomach. Something was wrong. You thought for a second, could it been the food? No, Sanji would never give you something that would hurt you. It must have been something else, a virus maybe.

After a while, you decided to walk to Chopper, maybe ask him for his opinion, but a few steps later, you realized that it wouldn’t be that easy. Your stomach started to turn, your head started to spin and your feet dragged you to the side of the ship, where you emptied your stomach quickly. It was horrible.

Franky, who had been standing a few feet away from you, quickly came running to you. “Oi, Y/N! Are you alright?”

Not being able to say anything, you shook your head and decided to sit on the little chair not far away. “I’ll go and get Chopper and Luffy! Don’t go anywhere!”, and then he went off.

Even in your state, you couldn’t help but shake your head. Of course you won’t go anywhere, you are barely able to stand on two feet. Time kept passing by, and soon, minutes flew by like the birds in the sky. Hell, how hard could it be to get Chopper and Luffy? But as if they had heard your thoughts, the two of them ran towards you, Franky following close by.

“Y/N! Franky told me you were dying!”, your boyfriend yelled. He crouched down next to you, his face showing his worry for you.

“I’m not dying.”, you said, your voice hoarse from the pain. “I hope.”, you added, trying to make the situation a bit lighter, but it didn’t work. Luffy was worrying even more, his eyes staring at you deeply and you felt your heart jump.

“Let me see,” Chopper said and pushed Luffy a bit away from you. He started to ask you questions, what you ate, what you did, what you did yesterday and so on. After his questions had stopped, he nodded. “It’s nothing bad, you just need to stay in bed for a while.”

You nodded as well and tried to stand up, but lost your balance shortly afterwards. Luckily, Luffy caught you. He hugged you close, using his devilfruit skills to wrap his arms around you not just once, no, eight times.

He brought you to your room and sat you down on the bed. “Thanks.”, you mumbled.

“Do you want me to bring you some meat? Maybe this will help?”, he asks you. “Meat always makes me feel better, I’m sure it will work!”, he adds brightly and turns around, ready to leave and get the food when you grab his arm.

“No, I think I just want to sleep for a bit.”, you say and try to bring him closer to you, but instead of him coming closer, his arm just starts to get longer.

“Oh. Okay. I’ll tell Sanji to make you something delicious for later then!”, he starts to walk again, his arm stretching more and more.

“No, L-Luffy!”, you yell, your stomach turning again. “Please, can you come lay down with me?”

He looks at you curiously and confused. “Will this help make you feel better?” You nod slowly and he smiles, his huge sunshine smile. “Okay!”

The both of you lay down on the bed and yet again Luffy wraps his arms around you a million times, but you can’t complain. It feels nice to be in his arms like that.

You bury your head into his shoulder and try to concentrate on his smell, the feeling of his skin against yours and his breathing, anything but the ache still prominent in your body. After a while, you start to feel tired, your eyelids growing heavier by the second and your mind slowly drifting off into the clouded world of dreams.

You still register Luffy snuggling closer to you however, rubbing his head softly against yours like a little puppy and you smile. You think he must have been tired as well, because shortly, his breathing starts to even.

Time passes by and the last thing you hear, is him whispering something about how good you smell, almost better than meat. But just almost… and then you fall asleep.

Law:

Being a member of the heart pirates was amazing and you loved lots of things about it. You loved the bond between you and your crew mates, how you could always count on them and your captain, no matter what happened. Even though it had a lot of good aspects, it also had some bad ones.

You being completely stressed, for example.

It wasn’t your task to help all of your crew mates, it really wasn’t but also… it kind of was. You were the one they always came to with their problems and questions and honestly… it was exhausting.

On one particular day, you couldn’t bear it anymore. “How do you ask someone out?” - “Do you think I would die, if I ate only pancakes?” - “What’s the difference between ‘your’ and ‘you’re’?” And your absolute favorite one for the day: “Y/N, is Captain a good kisser? Please don’t tell him I asked you that!”

After a few hours of you trying your best to help everyone, you decided that you needed a break. Exhausted and a bit annoyed you left the deck and went inside the submarine, a slight headache thumping evenly against your forehead.

You went for the kitchen, ready to make you a nice, warm cup of tea but decided against it. Your mood will probably affect the others trying to eat, or worse, your presence will make someone think of a weird question again, which they’re dying to ask you. So, nope. You won’t go there.

Your feet dragged you to your own room, your mood falling more and more, so much that you didn’t even realize you were walking straight past Law, who was asking you if you were alright.

You opened the door to your room and let yourself fall down on your bed, face first when you finally heard Law.

“Y/N? Are you alright?”, he asked and walked into the room. He didn’t wear his hat, which you didn’t see, because your face was buried deeply into the pillows.

“Yeah. Just exhausted.”, you tried to say, but your words got swallowed by the pillows underneath you. You sat up and repeated yourself, this time looking straight at him.

“Hm,” He sat down next to you on the bed. “Maybe you should nap for a bit. It will make you feel better.”

“Will you join me?”, you asked. He was already here with you, he might as well stay and spend some time with you.

“Do you want me to?” You nodded. “Alright then. I guess I can take a little break.”

He pushed the blanket a bit down, enough for him to get inside and let you lay down right next to him. You were laying face to face, your hand grabbing his shirt tightly and your head snuggled into the blanket.

He put his hand over yours and started to slowly stroke his thumb down your hand, making you relax instantly.

“Tell me what was bothering you.”, he said softly and even though your eyes were closed, you could feel him staring at you.

“Nothing, I wasn’t feeling well, that’s everything.”

“Don’t lie, Y/N.”

You huffed. Of courses he knew you were lying. You snuggled closer into the blanket and opened your eyes a bit.

“The crew… they were asking me so many things.. it was so, ugh, I don’t know. I was feeling weird.”, you let your eyes wander down his face, studying every little detail about him. “It wasn’t weird because of them, it was rather weird, because sometimes I didn’t knew what to answer.”

To your surprise, his lips started to curve slightly upwards. Trafalgar Law was not someone who was easy to make smile, it was very hard actually. Sure, you could say you were the best one in doing so, but still.

“You’re…”, he started and his eyes turned a bit brighter, a bit warmer, a bit… more in love. “…adorable.”

“No, I’m not.”

“Sure.”, he brought his hand to your hair and started to massage your scalp, which made you close your eyes again. A deep sigh left your lips. “What kind of questions did they ask you?”

You snorted. “Someone asked me about your kisses,” you said. “Guess who it was.”

You laughed. “Bingo.”

You could hear him shake his head. “So, what did you tell him?”

“Told him they were horrible.” You teased and giggled right after. Of course you didn’t say that, but it was fun to tease him.

Neither of you spoke for a while, both of you just enjoying the company. You fell asleep first, he didn’t. You didn’t know Law liked to watch you, when you sleep. To be honest, he didn’t want you to know, it was weird.

But he still did it, because it made him feel good. It made him feel safe, it made him appreciate who he was, simply because he had you with him.

When you woke up again, about two hours later, you were alone. You touched the side of the bed, where Law had been laying and felt it to be still a bit warm, so he must have left not too long ago. You were about to turn around and sleep some more, when the door to your room broke open. You screamed.

“I told you to not tell him about my question, Y/N!”

Now onto the rp.I AM BACK IN MY ONE PIECE PHASE! SPECIFICALLY ZORO!!!! The thirst traps this guy has!!! Ughhh 😩😩. Again I don’t know the anime only live action couldn’t get into the anime. Anyways I want my oc to be paired with Zoro. I also love Sanji but Zoro stole my heart besides I can see Zoro giving Aelora my oc private lessons hahaha. I can also see Sanji flirting with Aelora to make Zoro pissed off and jealous.

Anyways I want it to follow the series and maybe we can add more to the plot. We can also change it up a bit doesn’t matter. Or if you have a AU idea feel free by all means.
