Tsukishima --

He was exceptionally irritated that day and wanted nothing to do with anybody, even you.

Unfortunately, you didn't notice his attitude, you were too excited to see him first thing.

His headphones were on, so he didn't notice you calling out to him, no matter how often you did.

That's when you decided to play a little prank and take his headphones off, and keep them from him.

Only, it didn't end so well.

Right as you grab the headphones, ripping them off his head, Tsukishima - with gritted teeth - took them back and growled, "god why are you so fucking annoying all the time?"

You were instnatly pulled back into your childhood of your mother saying those exact words to you, everyday of you young life.

Instantly, tears started to flow, and Tsukishima was surprised at you, and himself.

"No, I'm- it-"

He didn't know how to properly apologize, never been in this situation before.

So, if words couldn't come out, he decided actions will do.

He hugged tightly, and stroked the top of your head. Once you had settled down, he muttered into your hair, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it, I'm sorry."

He didn't excuse himself, but he did apologize profusely, and for that, you were gratefu.

Oikawa --

He was talking to other girls again. and you knew he was just a natural flirt, and that the conversations never evolve into anything, since he was dating you.

But you couldn't help but be jealous, the tainted feeling clawing up your throat, making you want to scream. He was too close to her, she was touching him too much.

You couldn't handle it anymore, and walked up to the both of them, stealing him away from the stranger.

"What the hell you are you doing?!" he yelled, slapping your hand away from his. You experience you anger, and he scoffs.

"You always do this, you always flirt with other--"

"Would you stop being a jealous bitch for two seconds!" he yelled, but instantly regretting it.

You were shaking from head to toe, tears building up in your eyes as you stared him down, memories of your past flashing your mind.

Memories Oikawa knew of, which made it all the more horrible.

Oikawa sighed, raking his hand through his hair, knowing he fucked up bad.

"I am sorry," he muttered. "You're right, I should reel it in some. And I shouldn't have said that to you. I'm sorry."

You sat down next to him, taking his hand in yours, sniffling. "Jackass."

"I deserve that."

Kenma--

He wasn't giving you any attention, at all, since a new game came out.

You gave him three days. Three freaking days too binge this new game of his, and yet, there he was. In his room, in the dark, still playing it.

You turned on the lights, and confronted him. "Kenma, come on, you've been cooped up in here for almost a week. Let's go out."

He didn't budge, making you more angry, so you stood in front of him.

"Get out of the way!"

"No, not until you put that away and talk to me!"

Kenma tried to look around you, but ultimately he couldn't see, and so his character died. Kenma slumped in his bed from the shock before getting inexplicably angry at you.

"Look at what you did!" he exclaimed, face red.

"It' just a game--"

"A game I have been working for hours! And you made me lose!" Kenma raised his hand, intent on hitting you, though his mind wasn't keeping up with his actions.

That is, until he saw you flinch harshly, keeping your face covered by your arms. Kenma stopped himself, shocked at how easily it was for you to get into that defensive position, and slowly lowered his hand as he set down the controller.

He walked past you, and turned off his console.

Taking you by the hand he muttered, "Let's go get some ice cream or something."

You nodded, threading your fingers with his, accepting his roundabout apology.

HEY um ok so I dont usually request things but can I have one of nekoma x manager reader where the boys are in charge of their managers hamster and they took her out of the cage for a couple minutes and lose her so they freak out but really the hamster is chilling somewhere (obviously they find the hamster in the end)

i rlly am just using this account to get myself out of my writing slump. i’m just answering old reqs now lol if anyone wants to send new ones now i’ll try and get to those first 👍

it’s always his fault

look, he just wanted to take the thing out of its cage and maybe pet it or hug it for a bit

how was he supposed to know that yamamoto was gonna choose that moment to send a volleyball flying at his head

the poor hamster got all spooked and it ran away

lev screamed

kai had to calm him down so he’d stop crying about how you were gonna hate him for losing the hamster

kuroo immediately took charge and split the team into multiple groups to search for it

too bad you chose that moment to walk into the gym asking about your hamster

“hey guys, i can take my hamster back now?”

“NO”

“what? why not?”

“what lev means to say is that we are having too much fun with him to give him back. yeah, OH and inuoka wasn’t there something you wanted to show y/n? y’know, very very far from here?”

“there was? OH there was! right, kuroo, i’m just gonna take y/n with me for a bit”

so inuoka (who’s now on distraction duty) was dragging you halfway across the school on a wild goose chase

yamamoto sprinted through the whole school to try and find the hamster

kenma just kind of sat there, still playing his game and pretending he was looking

yaku took it upon himself to crawl through all the tiny spaces the hamster could be hiding

sometimes being short is okay

about 15 minutes passed with no luck in finding your hamster

that’s when you returned with inuoka who was desperately hoping that they’d already found it

“hey uh, we’re back!”

“oh, hi y/n. i have your hamster here”

kenma held up his hand and your hamster was just chilling there watching him play on his switch

the whole team glared at him for a few seconds

“aw, kenma, i think he likes you”

“does he? he’s kind of cute”

as soon as you left, kuroo started yelling at kenma

“WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL US YOU HAD THE HAMSTER?”

“well you didn’t ask”

Spending your lunch break with Daichi, eating some ice cream outside the gym, you don’t realize that it’s dripping onto your hand.

Being the dad he is, once he sees that, he’s pulling out the hanky ASAP and wiping it clean.

“Love, your hands are gonna get sticky. Be more careful, okay?”

He’s just had to deal with his own kids, also known as the VBC, that his natural instinct is to be the lookout for you. But when you make the same mistake for the third time..

It’s one of the hottest days in the summer and Kuroo just had to go eat ice cream with you; scheming bastard.

He loves to egg you on and provoke you, making you feel tingly and  needy just from his words.

“Messy girl, what am I going to do with you?”

Is the type of guy that would make you lick it off yourself and intently watch, imagining all the dirty things he would make you do as payback for “teasing” him.

Cute dates to your local ice cream parlour, sitting in face to face with him, sharing a sundae or something as he loses himself at the sight of you.

Your spoonful of ice cream falls upon your hand, but before he lets it drip any further,

He grabs your wrist and latches his mouth on the runny cream, lapping it up.

“Sorry, sweetheart. Couldn’t bear watch you get dirty like that,” suggestively smirking at you.

Your typical dates at the park end with ice cream when the weather permits it. Sitting side by side on the bench, cone in hand.

Literally inhales his own ice cream, leaving him to just adorably watch you enjoy yours, which begin melting onto your fingers.

Uses his own fingers to scoop up the drips and sticks them into his mouth.

“I like this flavour..” the pouty boy doesn’t even realize how hot that was.

You eat your ice cream as you watch him practice on a hot summer day, and you’re too enthralled at his regime to realize the sticky stuff running down your fingers.

He walks towards you, hot and sweaty, kneeling in front of you.

Licking the strip of ice cream up your palm, fingers and reaching the scoop of ice cream only to take a bite of it for himself.

Goes back to practice like nothing happened.

Doesn’t even LET you get that far. He’s making sure you eat out of a cup. 

Only gets ice cream with you to do this exact thing. As the ice cream melts along your hands, his tongue is on your skin.

He knows how much you love his piercing, so feeling it drag across your fingers has you going wild and purposely allowing the ice cream to drip on you just to have him lick it off you.

“Dirty little… You love it when I lick you like this, yeah?”

Let’s just say just because you’re done the ice cream, doesn’t mean he has to stop.

These are a little sparse, but I am working on a piece with Ushijima and his daughter based on headcanons I wrote years ago that I’ve never shared here. That’s gonna be fun (she’s a hoot and a half) so hopefully that makes up for this a little!

Initially, he didn’t care either way if the two of you ever had children. It’s more that the idea of having kids was never on his radar. But once you tell him that it’s something you want, he warms up to the idea of having a kid the more you talk about it.

When you tell him you’re pregnant, he thanks you for your hard work. Yes, he literally pats you on the shoulder and says, “Good work.”

He’s genuinely smiling when he does though, so you know that even if it’s a joke, he’s still thrilled to learn that he’s going to be a dad.

He isn’t sure what the first steps are. Books, maybe? He decides to order a few to get a head start on parenting practice.

Asahi

Oh, he’s wanted to be a parent forever. And he knows you’re going to make a great mom, so it’s only a matter of time before he gets to have his perfect little family.

He’s the type who’s already taken notes and listened to advice from family and friends, so he’s starting prepping long before your child was a twinkle in his eyes.

His face melts when you tell him you’re pregnant. There are lots of happy tears and face kisses, but he’s so happy!

The idea of fatherhood is a little scary at first, but it’s the good kind of scary that drives his desire to be the best dad for his kid.

Kuroo

At first, he’s stunned when you deliver the news to him. It takes him a moment to process the words. 

Sure enough, his face lights up and he asks, “Really?” a few times just to be sure. You aren’t past pulling the occasional prank on him, so he needs all the reassurance. 

Guaranteed for the rest of the day, he will stop doing whatever he’s doing randomly and try to get your attention only to say,  “I’m really gonna be a dad” and variations of that revelation.

He jokes a lot about just winging the whole fatherhood thing, but you’ve seen his internet search history full of searches for parenting advice and catch him hitting the books on occasion.

kuroo’s head was heavy against his partner’s thigh. 

“mhm.” 

his partner hoisted their leg up, trying to shrug him off. but, as always, kuroo was an immovable object.

“i’m trying to do my readings,” his partner huffed, doing their best to balance their laptop on their other thigh.

“and i’m trying to nap.” 

his partner rolled their eyes. “you’re so annoying.” they lifted their laptop up and placed it gently on the side of kuroo’s face.

“you, my dear, are heartless,” kuroo groaned, reaching up and trying to shove the laptop away. “you’ll mar my beautiful face.” 

“don’t feel all that bad about it, honestly,” his partner said with a shrug. but they lifted the laptop up and placed it back on their other thigh. it wasn’t ideal, but it’d have to do. sure, their leg was probably going to go numb in the next twenty minutes or so – they were convinced that kuroo’s head was almost inhumanely heavy – but he was kind of cute. despite what they’d just said. 

“hm, that’s very irresponsible of you,” kuroo murmured, “i was under the impression you were only dating me for my irresistible good looks.” 

“very astute, tetsu,” his partner bit back a grin. “now, let me study.” 

kuroo grunted, raising his hand above his head and flailing it in his partner’s face. 

“hey!” his partner swatted it away, leaning their head back. kuroo grabbed their wrist loosely, tugging their hand down until their fingers brushed against his hair.

his partner sighed. conceding might mean that he’d leave them in peace for long enough to finish at least one of their readings. not that that’d be enough to catch up on how much they’d procrastinated that week – which they maintained was kuroo’s fault – but it was something. and that’d be their justification for slacking off work later that night. 

they began to run their fingers through his hair gently, attention focused mainly on their laptop. this was a near daily ritual; kuroo, pressed against his partner, and them running their fingers through his hair absentmindedly. it always seems to help him sleep better, and some days, it seemed to make him more affectionate. his partner certainly wasn’t going to complain about that.  

they weren’t sure how much time had passed. ten minutes? an hour? anything was possible when it came to uni work. they closed their laptop with a groan, rubbing at their eyes with their free hand. they looked down at kuroo, a soft smile taking over their face. he just looked so cute; hair all ruffled and messy, long eyelashes brushing the top of his cheeks, mouth formed in a little pout. it was enough to many anyone feel unreasonably fond. 

his partner bent down and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek. 

wait. wait.

was he… purring?

his partner bit the inside of their cheek, trying not to laugh. they kept massaging the nape of his neck, turning their head to the side in an attempt to hear better. 

sure enough, he was purring. 

his partner giggled in spite themselves.

“what?” kuroo murmured, voice laced with drowsiness.

“how awake are you?”

“just enough to regret it,” he grumbled.

“tetsu–”

“don’t start.”

“you don’t happen to be… a furry, do you?”

“i’m not having this conversation again.”
