Description

The Abolition of Adscription in 1788 refers to the abolition of stavnsbånd (a system of feudal bondage) in Denmark on June 20, 1788, as part of broader agrarian reforms. This reform, spearheaded by the Great Agricultural Commission, ended serfdom and shifted the peasants' bondage from being tied to the estates to being tied to administrative districts. The reform was influenced by Enlightenment ideas and the economic boom of the 18th century.

How to identify a Rhaegar x Lyanna shipper:

-Lack of empathy towards the victims of the Rebellion (amongst them Elia and her children, insulting them just for the "sin" of getting in the middle of their pairing).

-Obsessive desire to absolve Rhaegar of his sins, trying to portray him as an angel who can do no wrong.

-Reduction of the tragedy to a high school romcom.

-Insistence on saying that Elia is ok with Rhaegar going with Lyanna, solely basing themselves with Elia being Dornish (even though there is a lot to suggest that Elia would never agree to this folly).

-Vomiting again and again that Rhaegar and Lyanna were in love, even though there is nothing that can prove it and when found out, they will project themselves, accusing the other party of using headcanons.

For Greek I propose LSJ 9th edition including supplement, here. The most authoritative dead to living (D-L) dictionary. The aim is to produce a dead to dead (D-D) dictionary. if not, it probably proves that even if theoretically possible the work invested in it seems less productive than continuing to slog through texts. i'd be willing to work on it here and there with others if there was any interest. i was thinking about this today and came up with the following. i have no view personally on whether this is ultimately going to be useful (because as i said earlier the one thing i've always wanted to see is research on whether immersion in a dead language activates some language learning part of the brain not activated by bilingual materials) but this doesn't mean i can't visualise how the work product might turn out.
