Aemond Targaryen x Reader
Summary: Your father wished for you to marry Prince Aemond to strengthen the bond between your and his family. What your father didn’t know is that you heard about the Prince before, and you were very interested.
Tumblr media
You swore your heart stopped and then quickened up the moment you saw him.
Aemond Targaryen.
You heard the rumours about his eye, yet all failed to mention the handsome face, the tall figure and the built muscles.
Your father wished for you to marry Prince Aemond to strengthen the bond between your and his family.
It was purely political and yet you couldn't stop staring at him. His handsome face, his beautiful hair, his tall frame and his long fingers, which you were sure could be used for other things than holding a sword.
You didn't say anything during dinner. You mainly observed his family and fantasised about your future husband.
You could faintly hear your father talking to the Queen about the details of your wedding, but your senses were mainly focused on the man sitting across from you.
After dinner, you were ready to head to bed. Sleep off your sinful thoughts, but as you rounded the corner, the same man stood in your doorway, waiting for you.
"My Prince, how may I help you?" you asked as you walked up to him, not looking into his eye.
"Am I truly that repulsive that you refuse to look at me?" his voice was filled with venom and anger.
You should have known that he was cautious about his lost eye.
"Quite the opposite, My Prince." you answered honestly and hoped no one else was there to hear.
"You dare lie to me?!" he almost yelled, but he did raise his voice, which was not appreciated by you. Your eyes met his.
"I will have to ask you to not raise your voice at me. I am to be your wife, not your slave, it is not my fault you don't believe my words. And now, I would like to go and sleep, excuse me." you said as you rounded him.
He just stood there, too stunned to speak. By the time he gathered himself, you already locked yourself into your chambers.
He could only stare at the closed door before he turned to leave.
---
The next morning you woke up, you recalled the events before you got into your bed and you felt both relieved and bad.
You were glad you stood up to Aemond and didn't let him yell at you. But you also feared he might want to call the wedding off.
You felt like you should apologise, but at the same time, you didn't want to.
You didn't want for him to know that it was okay to yell at you. You were not about to have a relationship where you would go insane much like your aunt did.
You entered the hall for breakfast.
"Daughter! Sit next to the Prince." your father said and you obliged.
Sitting down next to Aemond and to your other side was his sister.
After breakfast Aemond's mother asked you to walk you through the castle with you.
Now, you have spoken with the Queen before so you didn't feel as nervous.
You had a feeling that she liked you. Or she really wouldn't let you marry her son. You assumed.
Later that day, you were resting in your room when there was a knock.
"Come in." you looked up from your book and your eyes met with the Prince. "Prince Aemond, how may I help?"
"I came to apologise for my behaviour. Yesterday, I wasn't myself, please forgive me."
"I forgive you, but I will not believe that it wasn't you, My Prince." Aemond looked at you, confused, so you continued. "I believe everything you said you meant, I believe you are holding back always. I can see in your posture. You have some deep regrets and anger inside you. A huge fire is burning inside you, My Prince."
"And you will be the wife of such a man. You might end up getting burnt."
"I sure hope so. If it means the fire is who you really are, Aemond, I wish to see it. All of it."
"How can you say that? Most women run from me, scream even just by the thought of me."
"I suppose you can say, I am not most women." you stood up from your chair, your book on the floor, long forgotten. "I always admired fire, I heard of you, when my father told me, I am to marry you, I felt joy. If what you are saying is true, if women are truly scared of you, then excuse me for admitting this, but at least I can be selfish and keep you all to myself."
"You want me?" he genuinely sounded surprised.
"With everything I have. Anything you are willing to give me, and I will give you myself." for a moment his eyes went over your figure. "I believe that everyone is born to find their pair. I trust my instincts that you, Aemond, are my other half."
"You are speaking nonsense." you smiled softly as you watched the light hit his perfect face. Oh, how you wished to run your fingers through his beautiful white locks.
"It is okay if you won't believe me now, I am sure you will soon realize I do not lie."
"Did your father put you up for this? Forced you to speak such things?" he was getting angry, you took a step closer and placed your hand on his chest.
"My father would marry me to a goat. I am speaking the truth." his eye searched yours.
But you were no liar.
You meant every word.
You deserved him as much as he deserved you.
You wanted him as much as he wanted you.
And soon, he would realize that he was destined to be yours as much as you were destined to be his.
His lips hang open as he thought.
He looked ever more handsome when he was thinking.
Soon, he moved his head, letting his lips rest on yours.
He wasn't skilled, but neither were you. It was okay.
More than okay.
It was perfect.
Your heart skipped a beat.
Padam padam.
Yes, you were ready to get burnt.

Tw: Yandere Aegon and Aemond and Poly relationship ( If you're not comfortable with a poly relationship then you don't read if you don't wanna.)
------------------------------------------------------------
"There once was a Queen who used to be nice but something really bad happened" Alicent said to a four year old Aemond. "What happened momma?" Aemond asked. "That my dear I can't tell you until you're older. But right now it's time for bed." Alicent said as she put Aemond to bed and gave him a goodnight kiss on his forehead. "Goodnight my little dragon" Alicent whispered to a sleeping Aemond.
6 years later
"Hello Y/n!" Aegon yelled as he saw you walking towards him and Aemond. "Hi guys!" You said back as you were now in front of them. "So big news! I have a younger brother now!" You said excitedly. "That's great!" They both said in unison. "Yeah it is.... I'm sorry I can't stay long. So bye Aegon.....And b-b-bye Aemond" You said your face going a little red. "Bye!" They both yelled out as you left.
"Even if I don't wanna share her with you but I guess I will have too" Aegon said. "That's fine with me only if I get MY Y/n" Aemond said as Aegon glared at him. "You mean OURS Y/n" Aegon then corrected Aemond as he just nodded.
They always say sometimes that love is a game. But you hardly ever believe them but you do believe in fairy tales. But you couldn't choose between Aegon and Aemond you loved both of them. Even your parents told you to follow your heart but they still will accept you if you date both.
Never have you known that things will take an unexpected turn. Not for the best but for the worst.
You can repost and use my stuff but ask me first before you do that. (You can only if I get the credit for my work because I will just say yes anyways)

“Lady Y/N, the Princess Helaena has requested your presence in her chambers immediately,” one of Helaena’s handmaidens had found you on your morning walk in the gardens.
Your face grew worrisome at the handmaiden’s words as you followed her out of the gardens. Helaena was due to give birth to her third child any day now and you feared something horrible might have happened.
Helaena’s handmaiden pushed open the doors, you saw Helaena on her bed with the Maester between her legs as she cried softly.
“Helaena!” you rushed to her side, grabbing her hand, “Are you alright?”
She moved to speak before, what you assumed, was another contraction passed as she winced, “I’m fine,” she sighed as it moved through her, “I just did not wish to be alone.”
“Where is Aegon?” you shouldn’t have expected him to be here, at least not by his own will. When Helaena had given birth to Jaehaerys and Jaehaera, Queen Alicent had forced him to be there and demanded that he be at his wife’s side as she brought his children into the world.
“Mother did not command him to be here this time around,” Helaena spoke through rugged breaths.
“Would you like me to order the guards to fetch your mother?” you moved to do so.
“No,” Helaena snatched you back by your hand, “I only wish for you to be here, good sister.”
You smiled at her kind words, pushing away some of the hair that stuck to her forehead, “Then I’m not going anywhere.”
She nodded, smiling tiredly. She readjusted her grip on your hand, tightening it as the Maester’s and midwives encouraged her to push.
“Once more, Princess. We can see the babe’s head,” one of her midwives spoke. Helaena’s nails dug into your hand as she screamed, pushing with what seemed to be all her might.
“AHHHHH!” you could’ve sworn her cries shook the walls of every chamber in the Red Keep.
Suddenly the air was filled with sweet cries and shrieks as the Maester pulled the baby from Helaena.
“A boy, Princess,” the midwife announced, quickly wiping away the birth matter before placing the squalling bundle into Helaena’s tired arms.
She smiled sweetly at the small boy, “Is he healthy?”
“As can be,” the Maester answered, “Congratulations, Princess.”
You kissed your sister-in-law’s head, “Well done, Helaena. He’s beautiful. Have you got a name for him yet?”
“Aegon wanted to name him Maelor,” she caressed the sleeping infant’s face, “Do you wish to hold him, Y/N?”
“I would be honoured,” you grinned softly before Helaena passed the baby into your arms, “Well, aren’t you a handsome one, Prince Maelor?” he stirred a bit as you rocked him before you cooed him back to sleep.
One of her handmaidens came through the doors, “Prince Aegon, the Queen, and Prince Aemond, my Princess.”
You assisted Helaena to sit up as the three entered the room. Queen Alicent smiled proudly as she moved to her daughter’s bedside.
“My sweet love,” she kissed her daughter’s cheek, Helaena giving a half-smile in return, “I do hope your labours were not too painful.”
Helaena shook her head, “Faster than the first time. But still excruciatingly painful.”
You laughed softly at her words, “Prince Aegon, don’t you wish to be introduced to your son?” you raised a brow.
Aegon sighed deeply before moving to his wife’s bedside, looking at the baby in your arms.
“Another son,” Aegon spoke. He merely watched as you passed the bundle to the Queen so that she might get a better look at her grandson.
“Yes, my Prince. Your wife has done an excellent job,” you spoke rather coarsely to him. Aegon wasn’t a good person, let alone a good husband, and Helaena wasn’t just your sister-in-law but your friend and you never cared for the way Aegon treated her.
“You might wish to hold your son, brother,” Aemond suggested.
Aegon cleared his throat, “Oh- of course,” you looked to Helaena first, she was reluctant at first before giving a nod of approval before you took the boy from the Queen and handed him over to Aegon.
The baby didn’t look right in his arms but there was nothing you could do about it. He was the father after all. You smiled again at Helaena before finally moving to your husband’s side.
“The boy’s name?” the Queen asked.
  “Maelor,” Helaena answered.
Queen Alicent smiled at her daughter, “Excellent choice. I assume the two of you would like some privacy?”
“That won’t be necessary,” Aegon answered, “I’ve got matters that need attending to.” He handed the baby back to Helaena in haste.
“Matters more important than the birth of your son?” you questioned.
Aegon’s jaw tensed at your comment, his fist curling as he tried to take a step towards you, “What was that, Y/N?”
You moved to speak before Aemond stepped in, “Careful, brother.”
Both brothers moved towards one another before Queen Alicent stepped in, “Not here. This is about Helaena and the babe.”
“I couldn’t agree more, Your Grace,” you spoke up, pulling Aemond back to your side.
Queen Alicent nodded at you before turning to Helaena, “My husband may do as he pleases. I only wish for Y/N and Aemond to be here.”
The Queen shifted uncomfortably at her daughter’s words, “As you wish, my love.” she stroked Helaena’s hair, “Come along, Aegon.”
Aegon did not hesitate to leave as fast as he could, not even waiting politely for his mother. Queen Alicent said her goodbyes before making her way out of Helaena’s chambers.
You took Aemond’s hand, leading him to Helaena’s bedside, “Their energy was bad for the baby. Aegon stunk of wine, he left it on Maelor’s blanket.”
“Shall we have one of the midwives change it?” Aemond asked his sister.
Helaena shook her head, “I don’t want anyone else touching him beside you or Y/N.”
You could see how tired the poor girl was, “Helaena,” you took her hand, “Maybe you should find some sleep. You’ve exhausted yourself heroically this morning.”
Helaena took a deep breath before nodding, “Will you two be alright looking after him while I do?”
“Of course,” you nodded, “We’ll just be over in the nursery. The minute you wake, we’ll bring Maelor back.”
“Thank you,” she smiled as she handed the baby over to you.
You scooped him into your arms. Helaena attempted to make herself comfortable, “Here, let me help,” you offered before turning to give Aemond the baby, “Take him.”
Aemond had never given off the fatherly type but he knew his sister had only entrusted him and his wife. So he nodded before awkwardly taking the baby into his arms. While you adjusted Helaena’s pillows and settled her into bed.
“Sleep well, sister,” Aemond spoke softly as Helaena waved us goodbye. You and Aemond left her chambers quietly so as to not wake the sleeping infant. “Shouldn’t you take him?”
“You that scared of him?” you giggled as you took the baby from Aemond’s arms, “Rides the biggest dragon in the world and is scared of his infant nephew.”
Aemond scoffed, “I am not scared. He’s just too delicate.”
“You won’t hurt him,” you smiled at your husband as you entered the nursery.
“Seems as though the handmaidens already fastened a cradle in here,” Aemond nodded over to the bassinet in the corner.
“Let’s see if he likes it then,” you walked over and placed your newborn nephew into the crib. He was still fast asleep after you tucked him in. “Seems he does,” you kissed his head as he slept soundly.
You and Aemond stood over the sleeping boy for a while, just listening to his soft little breaths and snores.
“How could your brother bare to be away from him by choice?” you finally spoke, breaking the silence.
“Aegon has never been built for responsibility,” Aemond answered, “I mean, the only reason he was there when the twins were born was because Mother forced him to be.”
You shook your head at the thought, “Hopefully all three are more like Helaena than they are like him.”
  Aemond sighed, “Gods be good.”
“They’re such beautiful things. Babies that is. Not a bad thing about them. Just pure innocence and joy.”
“Born into such a corrupt world. Makes you think twice about having them.”
“And you have?” Aemond raised his brow at your question, “Thought about having them?”
“The thought has crossed my mind.”
“Really? Why have you never said anything?”
Aemond tensed a bit before clearing his throat, “Has the thought ever crossed your mind?”
“Of course, it has, Aemond. From the moment a girl comes of age and even before that, they are told about the so-called miracle of childbirth. Though after seeing what Helaena went through, definitely a load of sheep shit.”
Aemond chuckled lightly, “And what are your thoughts exactly?”
You let out a deep breath, “The idea of having one or two seems nice. What about you?”
He paused before saying anything, “I don’t think I’m fit to be a father.” Aemond moved away from the crib, towards the windows of the nursery that faced the horizon over Blackwater Bay.
“What in Seven Hells are you talking about?” you followed him over.
Aemond shook his head, “Look at me. A one-eyed man whom everyone in all of the Seven Kingdoms is terrified to look at. A monster.”
You sighed before resting your hand on the scarred side of his face and pushing it to face you, “You are not a monster. You are my husband. A Prince of the Seven Kingdoms. A fine warrior. A dragon rider. A poet and a scholar. All of this and more. But most importantly, Aemond, you’re a good man.”
“Do you wish to have children with me, Y/N?”
“More than anything, Aemond,” you smiled proudly.
Aemond finally exchanged a similar one, “Then children we shall have. Though we may need some more practice first.”
Aemond took a step towards you, one of his hands falling to your waist while the other cupped your face. He leaned forward, both of your eyes fluttering shut. Until the soft whimpering that came from the cradle pulled you both away.
You moved to comfort Maelor before Aemond stopped you, stepping towards the crib himself and picking up the softly crying baby.
“Shhh,” Aemond cooed, “It’s alright little one.” You smiled softly as he began to rock himself and the baby, continuously cooing to him.
There was a knock at the nursery door, “Come in. Quietly please,” you instructed.
Helaena’s handmaiden entered, “My lady, my prince,” she curtsied, “The princess is awake and wishes for her child to be returned to her.”
“Of course,” you nodded. You walked to Aemond, “Want me to take him?”
“I’ve got him,” he answered, his eye still fixated on the sleeping boy.
You kissed Maelor’s head then Aemond’s cheek, “Let’s get him back then.”
The three of you returned to Helaena’s chambers. She appeared to have bathed and rested from her current looks.
She looked at you questioningly as you were the first to enter the room, “Where’s Maelor?”
Aemond had finally entered the room, the sweet bundle still fast asleep in his arms, “No need to fret, sister.”
Helaena smiled softly as Aemond handed her son back to her, “Thank you both for looking after him.”
“We’d be happy to do it whenever you’d like, Helaena. He’s a sweet boy,” you grinned, “Sweet enough that he even wooed your brother over.”
She nodded at her brother, “A dragon of spring.”
You and Aemond exchanged glances, Helaena had always been known to say peculiar things. You thought it must be related to her labours so you both just smiled at her.
“We’ll let you two have some alone time,” you smiled, “Come, husband. Let’s go for a walk in the gardens.”
Aemond nodded as the two of you exchanged goodbyes with his sister and the new prince before heading off toward the gardens.
The sun was still shining as you took your stroll, stopping to sniff and observe the different flowers and plants. Aemond plucked one, placing it behind your ear as you started to walk toward the more secluded areas of the gardens.
Aemond’s hand stayed on your face, seeming to admire you, “You’re so beautiful,” he whispered softly.
You caressed the scar on his face again, “As are you, my love.”
Aemond wasted no time in pulling your lips to his, both of you moaning softly at the combined softness and neediness that filled the kiss. It seemed after your earlier conversation Aemond was now making haste as his lips trailed down your face and neck.
“Aemond,” you panted softly as he began to undo the lacing on the back of your dress, “We could be seen.”
“Then let them. I don’t plan to let you out of this garden before I’ve filled you with my seed.”
Your body trembled at his words as he managed to pull your dress down. Before he continued, he pulled off his coat, laying it onto the floor and throwing his belt off as well before pushing you down softly to rest on the softer material.
“Gods,” you moaned quietly as Aemond wrapped his lips around one of your hardening nipples while his hand toyed with the other.
He groaned around it before pulling off and switching his attention to the other, mimicking his earlier motions. While your hands slid between the two of you, untucking his tunic from his trousers. Your fingers then undoing the clasp before nudging them down.
“Seems you’re not too worried about being caught now, are you?” Aemond teased.
  “Please, just fuck me.”
“In time, my darling,” Aemond smirked before moving in between your legs, bunching your dress in the middle while he removed your stockings and knickers, “Gods be good,” he moaned as he began kissing up your thighs.
“A-Aemond,” your voice quivered a bit as he licked, bit, and kissed up and down your legs.
Getting as close as he could to your pussy, which had to have been dripping by now from all of Aemond’s teasing. He finally locked his lips around your sensitive clit, sucking it as two of his fingers teased your entrance. Your fingers made their way into his hair, attempting to tug on it but the band of his eye patch continued to get in the way. So you began to undo the leather, Aemond made no effort to stop you as you did so. He was only focused on pleasuring you as much as he could.
Once the eye patch was removed, your fingers could now properly grip his hair which only encouraged Aemond in his assault. You bucked and twitched at his touch. Your back arching as your orgasm continued to build in your stomach. Aemond could feel you clench around his fingers, knowing you’d be finishing sooner than later.
“F-Fucking hells,” you moaned louder as he sped up his movements, “Gods- fuck- Aemond!” Your climax ripped through you as you coated Aemond’s porcelain face with your juices. You were attempting to catch your breath before Aemond rose from between your legs and laid a hard kiss on you.
“I love the way you taste,” he sighed as he pulled away, his now exposed sapphire eye gleaming beautifully along with the dampened part of his face. You smiled, still coming out of your post-orgasmic haze, “I read somewhere that a woman is more likely to conceive after an orgasm.”
“Thank the Gods you like to read,” you panted. Aemond chuckled before kissing you again, this time one of his hands fell between you, pulling his trousers down and finally exposing his completely hardened and leaking cock.
He teased your hole a bit with the tip, not pushing in all the way on account of you recovering, “Whenever you’re ready, my love.”
You took in another deep breath before nodding, “Please, Aemond.”
You didn’t have to beg much before Aemond began pushing his cock in. The wetness provided by your first orgasm made it all that much easier. You let out synchronized groans as he bottomed out, the tip of his cock pressing your cervix.
“Gods-fucking hell,” Aemond moaned in your ear as you both adjusted to the feeling of one another.
“Aemond, m-move,” you whimpered in his ear.
Aemond heeded your pathetic-sounding demands and began to thrust over and over. He started slow at first but after hearing the noises you emitted and the way your body reacted every time he sped up, his pace became relentless. The visceral sounds of skin slapping, heavy breathing, and combined moans filled the gardens that surrounded the two of you.
The tightening sensation in your stomach was back, “G-Gonna cum again,” you panted.
“Fuck, I’m nearly there,” Aemond groaned. His pace continuously sped up as you both now chased your orgasms. He leaned his head down, pressing your foreheads together as your climaxes neared.
“I love you,” you whimpered as Aemond pounded into you.
Aemond grunted, your sweet words only encouraging him, “I love you. Can’t wait to put a fucking baby in you. Watch you swell with my child. Let everyone in the Seven Kingdoms know you belong to me.”
And just like that both of you erupted into a string of moans and vile words. If no one had heard the two of you yet, there was no chance they could’ve denied that. Aemond’s cum completely filled your cunt, dripping out around his cock as he was still inside you.
Aemond panted as he thrust his last few times before kissing your forehead and slowly pulling out. You both winced at the absence of one another as Aemond lay next to you on the coat.
He pulled you to him, both of you relaxing in the others’ grasp, “Think this one will take?”
Aemond sighed, “Gods, I hope so. Still,” he leaned on his arm so he could look down at you, “If it doesn’t, that means I can still fuck you like this,” you both smiled before kissing softly, “And if it does, I’ll still fuck you like this.”
NEARLY A YEAR LATER...
“Push, my lady, push!” one of your midwives encouraged.
“I am pushing, you stupid cunt!” you yelled as the pain surged through your body.
“Was I this violent during my labours?” Helaena asked as she continued to grip your hand.
Aemond smirked from the other side of you, your other hand in his grip, “That’s my child inside her. A true dragon.”
“Both of you, shut the- AHHHHH!”
“I can see the head,” the Maester spoke from between your legs, “One last push, my lady.”
You practically roared as you pushed with every last bit you had left in you. The relief overcame you as you felt your child come out and their soft wails fill the room.
“A boy,” the midwife spoke as she quickly wiped off your baby before placing him in your arms, “As healthy as can be. Praise the Mother.”
You sobbed softly as you tiredly rocked the infant, “Shh, it’s alright, my little love.”
“You have a son, my prince. Congratulations to the both of you,” the Maester smiled as he and the midwives cleaned up.
Aemond’s gaze could not be taken away from his son or his wife, pure adoration for the both of them.
“He’s beautiful,” Helaena commented, “A dragon of spring,” she wiped the sweat-clad hair from your forehead.
Your handmaiden returned, “The Queen and Prince Aegon,” she introduced. Aemond’s family joined the room. The Queen moved to the bed. Aegon preferring to stay by the table, coincidentally where the wine was kept.
  “Boy or girl?” she asked.
“A healthy boy, Your Grace,” you smiled tiredly. Your son had small wisps of the signature Targaryen silver hair decorating the top of his head.
Queen Alicent grinned proudly, “Congratulations.” She kissed Aemond’s head, then yours, then the babe’s. “Does he have a name yet?”
“Daeron,” Aemond answered, “It means the great little one which is exactly what he is.”
“He’s perfect,” the Queen spoke softly, “Reminds me of Aemond. Such a small thing.”
Helaena rose, “We should give them their time.”
The Queen nodded, “I agree, sweet girl. Come along.” Aegon tossed back his goblet of wine before moving to follow his wife and mother out of the chambers.
“Brother,” Aemond called after him, his gaze still not moving from his new family.
  “What is it?” Aegon groaned.
“I shall let it pass this once but if I ever see you drinking or drunk around my son, I will cut your tongue out so that you cannot taste the ale anymore.”
No one said a word as Aegon just nodded quickly before practically running after Helaena and the Queen.
“I will not allow drunken idiots around him,” Aemond explained, “Even if he is my brother.”
You chucked lightly, “Fair enough, my prince.”
Aemond continued to admire your son, “Might I?”
“Of course,” Aemond helped you to sit up to make the hand-off easier, “Though,” you reached your hand towards his head, pulling off the eye patch, “you should meet your son as you truly are.”
Aemond gave a light smile before you handed him Daeron, “It’s scary how perfect he is.”
“I know,” you sighed, “Takes after his father.”
“Not in the slightest,” Aemond kissed the side of your cheek, “Well done, my brave girl.”
“Ao'll emagon naejot bodmagho zirȳla Valyrīha. Sepār hae ao gōntan syt aōha ābrazȳrys.” You'll have to teach him Valyrian. Just as you did for your wife.
Aemond nodded, “Indeed, ñuha jorrāelagon. Issa iā Targārien Dārilaros tolī mirre.” Indeed, my love. He is a Targaryen Prince after all.
  “I love you, Aemond.”
His eye finally moved to meet yours, “I love you.”
“And you,” you pulled the swaddle away from your son’s face and kissed it softly, “I love you too.”
“Īlon both gaomagon.  Tolī than mirros, ñuha tresy.” We both do. More than anything, my son.

You couldn’t find your daughter.
The last time you saw her had been early in the morning, sending her over to her nursemaids as they took over. She’d be spending majority of the day there, catching up on her reading and slowly beginning to learn more equity. You didn’t like it when the day turned out in such a way, because she was your daughter, and it was technically your job to teach her such things, but when yourself and Aemond became busy at the same times, you had no other choice.
This morning, you were called by Queen Alicent, your mother-in-law, requesting that you spend the majority of the day with her, sharing between both the council room, but also her chambers. She’d asked that you come in on some of the council sessions that would be taking place during the day, aiding her in the errands of the kingdom she was suddenly having to take care of due to the King’s declining health.
(Although, she had also mentioned that she also wished to spend some time with you regardless, seeing as it had been a little too long for her liking. The two of you had gotten along pretty much from the moment you met, with her relishing in the perfect match between yourself and Aemond. Ever since then, you’ve been like another daughter to her.)
You were constantly feeling honoured and a little proud of yourself whenever Queen Alicent would ask specifically for your presence during these meetings - after all, you were only her second son’s wife, with barely any authority placed upon your shoulders when it came to making final decisions like this.
When you’d first told her of your worries of others opinions on your presence there, she’d instantly shut them down. Queen Alicent head adamantly stated that she valued your opinion, not only as a member of her family, but as a woman. She knew you’d go with the options that would be best for the kingdom entirely.
No one had ever said anything to you, despite the lingering glances they’d continue to give you throughout each meeting. You had an idea that the reason nothing had happened was both on the Queen’s orders, and for the fear of your husband’s wrath should you mention just a slither of an occurrence to him.
The reason why Aemond was unable to properly look after your daughter was due to the training he had with Sir Criston Cole in the yard. It was an errand he didn’t enjoy - in fact, every time he knew he had it forthcoming and afterwards on his return, he would grumble and groan about participating in it.
When it came to Aemond, he much preferred staying in with his family, reading some other tome he’d found in the archives of the family library that spoke of extravagant histories. Aemond Targaryen had never been into tourneys and training like that, but, he knew, as was his duty as the second son of the King and Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, he needed to learn to protect those close to his heart - his two girls at the top of that list.
So, despite wishing he was anywhere else rather than in that particular yard, as onlookers watched on with beady eyes, he keep himself there. The practice would allow him to feel confident in himself that he could protect his wife and daughter. Not that he would never not try, anyway, but the reassurances were nice.
The bonus was that he was good at it, meaning those of the guard would command that he help protect the rest of the kingdom, alongside them. No one was about to pass up a good warrior like Aemond Targaryen, even if he did grumble and glare at them.
Therefore, due to the both of you being busy with duties neither of you were particularly happy to be doing, you had trusted your only daughter in the care of her nursemaids. Before you’d left her, you promised her that her mother and father would call for her later, at a more suitable time where the three of you could be together as a proper family in the safe confines of your chambers.
It was difficult to really show off the love you had for one another in the way you admired, majority of the time. You couldn’t really do so when roaming the halls of the castle, or when walking some of the better streets of the kingdom.
As royals, it was customary for you to keep straight faces, to smile politely in a nice way, and to only ever speak when you were spoken to, more so than ever seeing as you were a woman. To you, as a princess, the wife to the second son of King Viserys, it was of paramount importance that you taught your own daughter the same thing you were taught, too - to be a lady when seen in public, to be prim and proper, but when safely wrapped in the warm embrace of those your trusted wholeheartedly, be whoever you wanted to be.
Even from a young age, yourself and Aemond did your absolute best to teach her that, knowing it was to be a fundamental part of her personality if she were to survive in this part of the world she was chosen to grow up in. Thankfully (as you’d always say), your daughter had taken after her father immensely in every way, and not just in her appearance, with her violet eyes and silver mane - no, she was also fierce, wishing to one day be wearing a similar armour to her father and wield a sword that represented his.
This dream of hers wouldn’t disappear, no matter how many times you heard others try and quell it. It wouldn’t, though, not when you, Aemond and Queen Alicent herself allowed her to dream whatever she wanted, promising her that one day, they would all come true. And, if it was up to the three of you, you’d make sure it did. Aemond had told her it would, too, many times, but reminding her that, for now, the two of them would have to pretend it was the same when fighting with wooden swords in your private chambers.
And, that’s exactly where you were headed now.
After bidding a swift goodbye to your good mother, promising her that you would make sure to see her again before the day was over (to which she replied, preferably with my son and granddaughter, with a chuckle), you’d gone back to where you’d left your daughter with her nursemaids early that morning. But, upon entering, you noticed she hadn’t been there - no one had.
Despite believing that surely she’d be safe if she was in the company of her nursemaids, knowing they’d protect her with their lives as they had vowed, for just a split second, you could feel your heart dropping to the very bottom of your stomach, feeling as though you were going to throw it up out of nerves. But, you told yourself that everything was fine, willing yourself to calm down, and repeatedly telling yourself that you simply hadn’t checked enough rooms to be completely worried yet.
However, it only spiked up more than ever when you’d gone down to the yard to speak to your husband, wanting to see if maybe he had seen her. Only when you came up short, everything felt worse. Not even Sir Criston was there, meaning you couldn’t question him about anything, even if you’d wanted to.
There was a part of your mind that was desperate to think logically, to think rationally - maybe Aemond had left to see her. Yeah, you’re sure that was it. Still, that one part of your mind wouldn’t stop nagging at you with dangerous, pessimistic thoughts.
Palms sweating and eyes flickering madly from one corner to the other, and then only repeating the same process, desperation is clear in your actions as you tried your damn hardest to keep a levelled composure. You knew it wouldn’t do well for anyone else dwelling in the confines of the kingdom’s walls to see you acting so wildly and brash, not when they were so used to you being the rational one that calms your husband down during his own heightened tempers. There would be no use in causing a mayhem if there was nothing to worry about, which is what you continued to tell yourself, hoping that the more you thought it, the more likely it would be on the other end.
It wasn’t like you could help these particular feelings, either - you were a mother after all, and you were always going to worry. No matter the circumstances, no matter the place, no matter the people… you would always have these lingering doubts that something was wrong with your baby if she was ever not in your’s or your husband’s arms.
That’s why your steps stayed hurried and frantic, and your breaths started to become slightly laboured as you rushed to your shared bedchambers, forcing the doors open and hoping above all hopes - to both the Old Gods and the New - that something would be inside that would give you the answers to calm your racing heart.
And, the sight that greeted you, face-to-face, the moment those doors opened, managed to fill your heart with the upmost of love.
There, standing on your bed, feet bouncing her up, down and around as she yelled out with her squealed, tiny giggles, was your daughter. Her hair was an absolute mess, no longer styled in the plaits you’d given her that morning; strands of silver falling into her face from the length of it - again, wanting to take after her father. It wasn’t bothering her, though, not when there was an elated smile plastered right upon her lips as she attempted to push her father further away from her, hands pulled out in front of her like she was warning him off.
Said husband of yours was continuing to stand at the end of your bed, a teasing, expectant expression on his face, like he was awaiting something. Aemond was slightly hunched over, preparing for the next opening when he could pounce upon your daughter and attack with all the love he had on offer.
As all this was happening, you stayed silent, watching on as the two of them breathed heavily. That was a sure sign that this had possibly been happening for a short while now - as it always would, when she was playing with her father.
“Kepa (father),” she paused, taking another deep breath, the flush of her cheeks apparent as another small giggle escaped from her lips. “Kepa (father), I don’t know!”
Walking ever so slightly closer to her, Aemond tsked, shaking his head. Still, the reading grin never left his features. “Yes, you do, ñuha byke zaldrīzes (my little dragon)…”
My little dragon. You absolutely adored it when he called her that, making you feel proud and domesticated with the two of them, with your little family. And, she was his little dragon, in every aspect - looks, personally, heritage. It would only be a matter of time before she possessed her only companion, and you couldn’t wait to be there with her for that achievement.
However, too caught up in the haze of the love you held so dearly for them, you hadn’t realised your daughter spotted you, her eyes sneakily looking for a way of escape and heart jumping for joy when she spotted you lingering. “Muña (mother)!” her yell pierced through the walls of the chambers, clambering herself off the bed as quick as possible (trying to avoid her father’s arms reaching for her), and wrapping her tiny self around one of your legs, safe beneath your dress and hiding herself behind the material.
Watching her, and noticing what had caught her eye, accompanied by her correct High Valyrian, your lord husband spotted you, as well. His once teasing, mischievous expression instantly turned softer at the sigh of his lady wife, stepping a little closer to the two of you. “My lady wife, I did not expect to see you until later in the day.”
You chuckled, smiling back at him lovingly before reaching a hand out to stroke the top of your daughter’s head, both a motherly gesture and an attempt to brush some of the silver strands back from her flushed face. “As did I,” you replied, “but when I went to check in on Visenya only to find her not there… I panicked.”
With a sympathetic smile, Aemond looked lovingly down at you, at the worry that was still slightly hidden behind your tone of his at your admittance. He reached over until his hand was clasping behind your neck, bringing you forwards and all the more closer to him so he could place a delicate kiss against your forehead. The whole gesture was so loving and tender, so much different in comparison to how he usually portrayed himself anywhere else that wasn’t in your chambers with his little family.
“Kepa came to get me,” your daughter explained, not realising that she was beginning to rat her father out. Her chin was propped up against your leg, looking up at you with such innocent eyes - violet, like her father. “He told me it was time to learn more High Valyrian.”
At her words, you focused your attention back on your husband, cocking a brow at him as your smile slowly faded just a smidge. No one would’ve noticed it, but, Aemond wasn’t no one - he knew you better than he knew himself. He sighed, “I know I should’ve told you, but, I didn’t think you’d mind.”
“You know I always check up on her, Aemond,” you spoke, voice quiet and just a tiny bit exasperated as you reprimanded your husband. You should’ve known Visenya would’ve been with her father all along, for reasons exactly as this one. But, the worry of a mother would always eat away at you until your daughter was back in your own grasp. That’s just how it was - you couldn’t help yourself.
As a second longer passed and the silence stilled within the room, the small slither of annoyance you previously felt dissipated at the apologetic, longing look he was sending you. You always gave in easily when it came to Aemond Targaryen, no matter the face he was pulling at you - he was just that handsome. You could feel a small shift down by your leg, spotting your daughter continuously looking from yourself, then over to her father, trying to fully understand the situation playing out in front of her, and you couldn’t help but feel refreshed again, like you hadn’t had any worries to begin with. “And,” you began, smiling wide down at her, Aemond instantly knowing your next moves just from one look at you, “you know I always like to join in when you learn High Valyrian.”
The moment the last word fell from your lips, you bent down with quick movements, picking her up within your arms and holding her tightly against you before she could even think about trying to run away. She squealed in utter excitement, laughing and giggling all the same, feet kicking upon your sides as she desperately tried to leave your embrace.
“Now,” you began, tilting your head down at her, before looking back up to your husband, “what were you teaching her?”
Aemond began to stand a little further back, already sensing that you were going to join in on what he had been doing to your daughter earlier, and sensing that more chaos was about to be brought forwards, giving you a little more room. After all, this was how the two of you always taught your little Visenya High Valyrian, because, at the end of the day, it worked out in the end, helping her remember her words. Plus, she secretly loved it, too, but, she’d never tell either of you that.
“I was teaching her to say one day, I am going to ride the biggest dragon in the world.” A prideful smile lingered upon his lips after he’d finished, looking at his daughter fondly. There was a look in his eyes that told the two of you he’d make sure it ended up true - he’d make sure the two of you always got what you deserved, and more. That was his role as husband and father, and he would continue to do so until the Stranger forced him to go.
You gasped mockingly, looking back down at your little girl, pretend disbelief marring your features. Visenya had stopped in her attempts to escape since, now looking up at you with her doe eyes, a small, subtle smile on her lips, waiting. “You know how to say that, my sweet girl,” you cooed sweetly, “kepa (father) taught you not too long ago.”
The memory came back to you instantly, of Aemond speaking about how excited he was of your daughter claiming her own dragon egg to you. It was something that had been on his mind practically since the day you found out you were expecting, and ever since then, he’d gone on about it. So, of course, he was going to teach your daughter how to boldly proclaim such a thing. It was all he wanted to hear from her.
Visenya’s face scrunched up when you’d reminded her she’d been taught it not too long ago, raising her hands in the air like the little drama queen she is. “I know, but I can’t remember!”
“Well,” you began, pointedly, in a sweet tone that had a lingering tease within it, one that came accompanied with a look that instantly told your husband that the usual was about to happen. “You know what happens when you can’t remember…” you gave a pause for more effect, sneakily looking down upon her before the biggest smile broke out upon your features, instantly digging your fingers into her sides as you began tickling her. Even more giggles than before erupted throughout your bedchambers, mixed in with both pleads and begs for you to stop, but, you wouldn’t. It was obvious she was having a fun time just from the sounds she was emitting.
Continuing on with your playful attack, you moved the two of you over in the direction of your bed, lying her down on her back as her little legs kicked in the air, trying to feign you off. Aemond came up beside you, looking down upon his family with loving eyes, laughing at your daughter’s demise, her peals of delight capturing his heart and squeezing it tight.
There was nothing he simply loved more than being trapped within his chambers - something he enjoyed before he’d met you, anyway, preferring his own company rather than having to pretend around others - but, that had only intensified when his two girls came tottering along, looking for someone to cling onto and protect them, something he’d always do even in his sleep.
Nowadays, he never truly complained or minded as much when he had to go about his duties and pretend to be someone he wasn’t really, putting on a front just to please some overweight lords who wanted to get in his family’s good books - not when it meant he had something special waiting for him towards the end of the day when he returned home.
Aemond Targaryen had the two of you under his dragon wings, arms wrapped firmly around him and not letting go any time soon, and he couldn’t ask for anything more… not when, already, he’d felt like he’d accomplished everything within his life.

Summary: During an awkward family dinner, Aegon is willing to sit back and bite his tongue at his nephew's disrespect. But when that disrespect is aimed at his wife, he cannot stand by.
Enjoy.

Tumblr media
"Are you sure you are well enough to attend dinner?"
"Aegon… I know what you're trying to do." (Y/n) looked down at her hands before she dared to look up at her husband. She raised a brow when he only smiled before attaching his lips to her neck like a starved vampire.
It would be a more fitting excuse for Aegon to say that they couldn't attend dinner tonight because (Y/n) didn't feel well enough. No one would bat an eyelid at them being absent from supper, given that (Y/n) was eight moons pregnant. And it wouldn't be frowned upon if Aegon didn't attend either and stayed to care for his wife. It was a better excuse than saying the future King didn't want to be around his family and would rather stay in his room with his wife and a jug of wine.
"And I know what you are like, dear wife. I seem to recall the maids interrupting dinner last week to tell me you'd fallen." He liked the way (Y/n) groaned beneath him when he kissed her jaw and hovered his lips over hers before pulling back when she leaned up to try and connect their lips.
His hand roamed across the expanse of her stomach and squeezed her curved hip before he shifted off the sofa and stood up. If they truly were going to attend then they needed to leave now before they were late. His mother would have his head if they were late, again.
"They were fussing," (Y/n) mumbled quietly as she held her hands out towards Aegon, a pleading look in her wide eyes to ask him to help her up.
It hadn't been as bad as the two maids had made it seem and (Y/n) flushed in embarrassment from the panic she had inadvertently caused. She hadn't felt well enough to attend dinner last week and when her foot caught on one of the many tables in her and Aegon's chambers, she went down with a thud that alerted the maids. The most damage was done to the table which legs had snapped, whereas (Y/n) only had a bruise or two and a sore hip.
The maids insisted on getting Aegon when (Y/n) felt too sick and dizzy to stand and both Aegon and his mother had come running just as (Y/n) started to feel better.
Aegon had barely left her side since.
"You hurt yourself," Aegon corrected, but he indulged her with a charming smile and gently pulled (Y/n) up to her feet.
His arm secured itself in its usual place around (Y/n)'s lower waist so his hand, clad with golden rings, could spread out against the expanse of her stomach. As much as (Y/n) loved how close Aegon was to her now she was pregnant and how it made it hard for him to keep his hands off her, she was ready to have this baby now. The constant aches and pains, the burning in her chest and the sickness she was still feeling, were growing tiresome. (Y/n) wanted her baby in her arms.
(Y/n) felt her stomach fluttering as if the babe could feel her adoration when Aegon pressed his lips longingly to the top of her head before they entered the dining room, apprehensive of what was going to happen tonight.
Everyone else was just filtering into the room, but at least the King hadn't arrived yet. Then they really would have been late if they arrived after him.
(Y/n) took her seat next to Aemond with Aegon on her right and a soft smile formed on her lips when she noticed her husband inch his chair closer until their arms brushed when he sat down. It was almost laughable how ungentlemanly Aegon sat, he slouched as if he wasn't the future king but an errand boy already tired of his job. His back slouched down in his chair, he brought one foot up to rest on the bottom of his seat and he propped his chin up on his hand.
It was a very enticing pose, one that made (Y/n)'s heart skip a beat, even if everyone else around the table glared and glanced at him with odd looks. Of course no one would say anything, what could they say? He wasn't going to act with etiquette just because people frowned at him.
Just the sight of the food made (Y/n) feel her stomach do summersaults and she knew if she ate a lot tonight it was only going to come back up later. She couldn't eat much, she would face Aegon's wrath of worry later. When a waiter leaned between her and Helaena and placed down a rather large plate of meat, the smell hit (Y/n)'s nose in an instant and her hand moved to press to her nose to try and block it. The smell would usually make her mouth water but now it made bile rise at the back of her throat that was tightening and she was almost gagging at the sight and smell.
"Will you try to eat something, for me?" Aegon's voice was so quiet (Y/n) barely heard the words that dripped into her ear like melted butter. He knew how to tease her and worm his way around her and he wasn't afraid to show it in public, either.
He perched his chin on her shoulder and pressed a butterfly kiss just beneath her jaw, feeling the way (Y/n) held her breath when he did so.
The longer (Y/n) went without eating, the worse she was going to make herself feel and the more she was going to worry Aegon. He had barely gotten through the first few months when (Y/n) hardly ate anything and spiked his worry to a peak.
Everyone knew that (Y/n) was Aegon's one weakness. She could calm him down from the most sour of moods, make him smile when others had only seen him frown and make him laugh when people only saw him cry. When (Y/n) was happy, Aegon was over the moon and when she was ill, Aegon was reduced to worrisome thoughts and troubled nights.
(Y/n) put a few sweet meats and a small lump of potatos on her plate because she knew that as long as she picked at something and tried to eat, Aegon wouldn't worry. And she could feel him smiling into her neck already because she was doing as he so politely requested.
Before a servant passing behind them had chance to reach the table, Aegon reached over and took the jug of wine from his hands with a smile and a curt nod.
He already knew that he was going to need more wine than this to get himself through this dinner.
There was no point them all being here, pretending to play happy families and everyone knew it. Aegon knew his mother hadn't forgiven his father for his lenience towards Rhaeynera and her bastard children and Aegon couldn't blame her. Not that it mattered very much to him, if things went the way his father had always said they would, then Aegon would never be in line for the throne, it would pass to Rhaeynera and her bastard offspring. That was how he wanted it. But something always told him he might see the crown one day and it was a frightening thought.
Aegon filled (Y/n)'s glass and his own but kept the jug very close to his plate, he wasn't sharing when he was going to be consuming a lot of wine tonight.
"Here, cheers."
The sarcasm that dripped from her husband's voice made (Y/n) shiver and she could feel his free hand roaming over her thigh, at any moment he would probably hike her dress skirt up like he normally did just to tease her since they were with company.
(Y/n) took a few sips before putting it down and leaning back in her chair, rubbing her hands over her enlarged stomach.
It took all (Y/n) had not to groan or sigh when she listened to Rhaeynera give her little speech about Alicent. Of course she would now give her old friend praise, but it was too little too late. Everyone knew of Rhaeynera's misdeeds, it was evident any time someone so much as glanced at her disrespectful offspring.
(Y/n) was just pleased that none of them were here in the Red Keep for long, her sons were insufferable and their constant bickering and tormenting was tiresome. Especially when they riled Aemond up for no good reason and that in turn brought Aegon into his brother's defense and he could be crude and ruthless when he wanted to be.
"Let me know when you want to go," Aegon took the liberty to pour himself another glass while his lips tickled over (Y/n)'s cheek and travelled across the shell of her ear, making her shiver.
She wanted to leave already but it wouldn't be polite to go when everyone was in the middle of eating. Aegon always said it didn't matter what everyone else thought or said, he would leave with her from any event if she wanted to go. But (Y/n) didn't want the fuss or the glares or whispers of they left too soon.
(Y/n) found herself drifting off into her own world, all the noises drowning out into static while the only thing that kept her grounded was the feel of Aegon's hand rubbing up and down her thigh. Occasionally squeezing the flesh like he was moulding clay between his fingertips. Leaning to the right, (Y/n) tucked her face into Aegon's neck and hooked her hand around his upper arm. She didn't have to look up to see the smile that danced across his lips, she could feel it when he turned to kiss her head.
But her attention was brought back to the chatter around the table when she heard Aegon whisper something to Jace who was sitting on his right. He didn't mean to rile them up but whatever he had said was clearly taken the wrong way. (Y/n) wouldn't have bothered to listen if it wasn't for Jace who leaned forward so he could look directly at her.
"And what time do you return to the silk streets?"
He spoke quiet enough so that no one across the table knew what he had said, clearly knowing he would be in trouble for being so inpertenant and rude but he wore a smirk that made (Y/n) narrow her eyes in distaste.
She hadn't even been engaging in the conversation yet he had brought her into it to try and rile both her and Aegon and for a moment she thought it was working. She felt her husband tense beneath her and his lips left her head so he could turn to his nephew, but instead of spitting venom at him like (Y/n) thought he would, Aegon leaned closer with a placid, neutral expression.
"Why, do you need lessons in that department? You do know what to do, how to put it in, don't you?" Aegon watched his nephew turn a shade of beet red before a satisfied smirk came onto his face and he turned away to lean back into (Y/n).
He would let the insult slide this time, but he wouldn't stand for it again. They could say what they wanted about Aegon himself and he wouldn't care, he had no self esteem left in him to care what anyone said about him anymore.
But (Y/n)… she was different.
She was Aegon's world and he wouldn't stand for anyone disrespecting her or saying anything degrading about her like that. If his nephews didn't have respect for (Y/n) Aegon wasn't going to be easy on them. Just like with Aemond, Aegon wouldn't stand for them tormenting his brother when that was his job.
When yet more unnecessary food was brought out to the table, it set off another round of tormenting between the boys at the table and the high princes who were not in the mood for games.
A shockwave bolted through (Y/n) and she jumped, sitting upright when Aemond slammed his fist down on the table and stood up low, stooping over like a predator assessing his prey. For a brief moment, it looked like he was going to lunge across he table at his nephews but (Y/n) didn't like the smirk that overtook her brother-in-laws face.
"And a toast, to my nephews. Jace… and Luke." Aemond knew what he was doing. The smile he wore on his face and how he deadlocked his gaze with Luke showed he was doing this as a taunt, a little payback at them both. He raised his glass high while Aegon raised his glass for all of one second before he emptied it. Again.
"Aemond…" Alicent looked up at her son with such pleading in her eyes but it was overshadowed and overlooked before he rounded the table to be closer to them.
(Y/n) could feel him standing beside her chair and she dared not lean back to look at him. She didn't want to know what taunt he was going to press because he had every right to be angry with them, but this was not the place to start a fight. Not at the dinner table.
"What? I'm only giving you a compliment. Don't you think you're strong?"
Aegon lowered his foot back to the ground and pushed up a little higher in his seat, but he made no effort to get up and interfere. His hand moved from (Y/n)'s thigh to reach across and take her hand. Their fingers meshed together and he brought their hands to rest beneath his chin while he leaned to try and see the interaction happening behind them.
(Y/n) could feel the rage seeping through Aegon the moment Jace landed a punch on Aemond's jaw, who surprisingly didn't flinch at all. Instead, he smiled something sinister. And she could feel her husband straighten up in his chair and grab the arm of the chair with his free hand. He wanted to intervene now but he also didn't want to move away from (Y/n).
If a fight did break out then Aegon wanted his wife as far out of the firing line as possible.
The way Aemond pushed his nephew down to the ground with a swift, fluid motion made Jace look like a little child trying to play a grown up game. Aemond didn't want to fight him, he wasn't worth the effort and he wasn't nearly as capable or skilled as Aemond.
Keeping hold of (Y/n)'s hand tightly in his own, Aegon pushed his chair back and stood up, pulling (Y/n) along with him so they could move away from the table and towards Helaena. When they passed Aemond, Aegon reached out and placed a hand on his younger brother's shoulder. As much as he would enjoy seeing a fight take place and watching his nephews finally be put in their place, he knew this wasn't the time nor the place.
"Brother, this isn't the time."
"You've made your point," Sympathy pooled in (Y/n)'s eyes but it was overcome by relief when Aemond glanced at both of them and nodded. He took a step back and held his hands out in front of him, a sign to everyone that he wouldn't retaliate.
"He listens to the whore too. Tell me, how much does she charge you for her services?"
If they'd of just walked away, let the argument go then everyone could retire and the night would be over and done with.
"Aegon-" (Y/n) held her breath when her husband tore out of her embrace before she had chance to hold onto him tighter and pull him back. She didn't care about the slurrs they called out to her, they were nothing but petty little boys egging on for a fight they couldn't handle.
She could feel Aemond's hand wrapping around her upper arm and reeling her back towards him when Aegon lunged.
Before anyone could stop him, Aegon swiftly latched his hand around the back of Jace's neck in a viper grip that took the younger boy by surprise. And with venom flooding through his veins, Aegon threw him down onto the table so hard Jace's head rebounded and slammed back down into the wood, rattling the plates and tipping over a few glasses in the process.
He couldn't stop himself from digging his hand further into Jace's neck and forcing his face down until there would be splinters poking through his skin and rubbing into his cheeks.
"Say it again. I fucking dare you." He spat through gritted teeth, punctuating each word like they were poison dripping from his tongue directly into Jace's ear.
Who did his nephew think he was to talk about (Y/n) in such a derogatory way? Why was he aiming his malice at her of all people?
"Aegon that's enough. Let him go, please." (Y/n) curled her fingers around Aegon's shoulders and leaned over his curved frame until her chest pressed down against his back. He could feel her erratic heartbeat and her harsh breaths pounding against him and it dampened some of the fire raging inside of him.
"I have no qualms castrating you in front of an audience if you talk to my wife like that again."
With a final shove, Aegon slid Jace across the table before he let go and straightened up. He shook his head to rid the silver hair from his eyes and took a step back towards (Y/n) as his chest heaved and his shoulders tensed. He was done with this messed up family. He didn't want anything to do with his nephews or his half sister who could have the throne for all Aegon. He just wanted them and all their troubles, gone.
Aegon barely turned his head to look at (Y/n) who was stood partially behind him on his left before a sudden movement sent him off balance.
In the struggle, Aegon wasn't sure whether Jace had aimed for him or (Y/n) but his weak punch ultimately landed on (Y/n)'s shoulder before he gave her a direct shove, thrusting all of his anger onto her and sending her tumbling down.
A gasp broke free from (Y/n)'s lips and she couldn't help but snap her eyes shut when Jace pushed her back. It didn't take much to offset her balance when her weight was uneven due to the baby and the force of the shove took her feet from beneath her. Both her hands reached out and clamped down around Aegon's arm and shoulder, her nails piercing into his skin when she fell until her back hit the table.
Aegon slowed down the impact but he couldn't hold them both up and stumbled down to his knees. He watched in fright as (Y/n) collided with the table before she slumped down to the stone floor and leaned back into one of the chairs which stopped her from lying flat on the floor.
"Sweetheart? Are you with me?"
Aegon leaned forward and gently cupped her face in his hands and swept his thumbs across her cheeks. When (Y/n) tilted her head back Aegon clicked his tongue and made her look back at him before he pressed his forehead against hers. He watched her eyes switch from side to side until her focus finally settled on his deep violet eyes.
After a minute or two, he felt her hand twitch against his shoulder and her hands shakily move down to hold onto his forearms and a deep sigh rumbled past his lips.
(Y/n) felt his lips smother her temple in a longing kiss that caused his fingertips to press deeper into her skin but when he pulled away, the violence in his eyes was terrifying. Aegon had never been the type to lash out, he bottled everything up and drowned in his sorrow. At one point in his very young life, he had taken his feelings out on the women in the silk streets and he would shout at his mother when he was overwhelmed, but that was as far as it went.
He was too used to pain that the sting didn't even bother him anymore, Aegon would drown his sorrows and take anything life had to throw at him.
But he wouldn't settle for this.
His mother couldn't have kneeled down beside them a moment too soon for as soon as she was next to (Y/n), Aegon left her side, if only for a few minutes. He could see his little nephew backing away towards his mother like a scared little deer about to be hunted for sport and Aegon wasn't having any of it. Jace couldn't get swaddled and soothed by his mother for doing this, not like Luke who got hidden and protected for taking Aemond's eye all those years ago.
The small dagger hidden beneath the belt around his hips had never felt so heavy when Aegon wrapped his slender fingers around the handle and swiped it as soon as he got close enough to his petrified nephew.
A blinding gleam sparkled off of the polished blade in the candlelight and reflected up into Aegon's maddening eyes.
He thrust the blade's edge against Jace's throat and agonisingly slithered it up higher and higher until his head was tilted back as far as it would go and the tip was pressing up into his chin. A small scrape appeared against his otherwise clean, pale skin but Aegon was already envisioning the river of blood he wanted to see coating the floor and seeping into the cracks between the stones.
When he noticed movement out the corner of his eye, something twisted crossed his face and he pushed the blade into the flesh until a small wheel of blood started to pool and taint the reflective metal. Rhaynaera stopped in her tracks.
"Any last words?" Aegon snarled, revealing his pearly whites that matched his crimped hair and his lips widened into a sinister grin.
He had no problem slitting his nephew from throat to groin right here with an audience. If he couldn't learn some manners and he didn't know what respect was then he shouldn't be in line for the throne he had no claim to. He shouldn't be standing here in a family that wasn't truly his by blood and he shouldn't act the fool if he didn't want to risk the punishment he was going to get. Aegon had been lenient, he had let Jace say slurrs to his wife and punch his younger brother, but he drew the line at physically touching (Y/n).
"Aegon leave him alone, stop this."
His mother's words did nothing to apease the fire raging inside his stomach and burning up through his chest. But when he felt his brother's hand on his shoulder and Aemond's whispers in his ear, he could feel a small slither of reason coming back to him.
"It's not worth the chaos it would ensue, you should tend to your wife." Part of Aemond would happily watch his brother disembowel their nephew and see the grief that would overcome their wretched half sibling. But the other part of him, the more sombre and sensible part, knew it was not worth the hassle.
This would cause a scene, a battle between the family and the constant fighting and bickering and torments that would follow if Aegon truly killed his nephew, was not worth it. Not when Aegon had a wife who needed him this very moment who he should focus his attention on.
Aegon punctured the blade into the soft skin beneath Jace's chin and dragged it along the side of his jaw. He relished in the swallowed cry Jace didn't want him to hear and the tears that flushed his tense, shaking face and the way his jaw clenched and his cheekbones popped out. He enjoyed the suffering and his nephew's screwed shut eyes from the minimal pain Aegon was inflicting.
He finally tugged the blade free and swiped it slowly along Jace's tunic, cleaning the blood off before he lowered the dagger to his side.
"If you so much as look at my wife again, I will disembowel you," He sneered each word quietly in Jace's ear so no one else would know what made him whimper in fear. "Leave."
He scuttled away like a rat jumping from a sinking ship and it quelled a small flame inside Aegon.
When he turned around, (Y/n) was already back on her feet with Alicent's arms safely around her in case she needed support or took a funny turn. His mother had never looked more relieved than when Aegon walked back over to her and encased his arms around (Y/n) so he could take his wife into his own arms and out of hers.
(Y/n) let her head fall against Aegon's shoulder and the cool leather was welcomed against her burning skin. But it was his hands feathering up and down her hips that made her sigh and his lips pressed against the side of her temple.
"Are you alright?"
"Hm, I believe so."
When Aegon circled an arm tightly around her waist and slowly began guiding them both out of the dining hall, (Y/n) buried her face into his neck and curled her fingers around his hip.
Aegon wouldn't let anything like this happen again.

A soft morning
Aemond awoke to the faint sounds of birds chirping on the balcony and outside the windows. With the curtains pulled shut, only slight cracks of light filtered through and left slivers of the golden morning light spreading around the room. Yet he could tell it was still early, well before time when servants would tap on the door and begin their morning tasks. To his side, you lay on your side facing him, hair fanned out haphazardly on the pillows. Your face was relaxed and gentle, soft breathes gently moving some pieces of hair hung over your face, which he delicately moved to tuck behind your ear, letting a finger trail along your cheekbone. A pillow was tucked underneath your swollen stomach, another resting behind your back and bracketing your body to provide some comfort while you slept; your hand was resting atop the swell while the other was still reached out across the bed from where you had a hold on his bicep throughout the night.
Turning to lie on his side, Aemond just remained watching you sleep, taking your outstretched hand in his own and holding it close to his chest. It was then that he felt a tugging at the blankets towards the end of the bed, little hands grasping and trying to find leverage and hurl themselves up. A quiet snort of a laugh left his mouth as he sat up and reached out, small fingers wrapping around his own as a head of white hair peaked over the top of the bed. Aemond pulled his arm up as he leaned back and returned to his lying down position. Your daughter, Shaera, crawled to sit atop his bare chest with a big smile across her face. White hair messy from sleep and still dressed in her nightgown, the 5 year old held a finger up to her lips upon seeing you still sleeping.
“Unlike you to wake so early, nuha byka zaldrizes.” Aemond reached to stroke down the wild hair on his daughters head, her hands batting him away. Little giggles left her mouth as she tried to scramble away gently, not trying to rock the bed too much and wake you. Aemond sat up and wrapped his arms around her and pulled her to his chest before lying on his side and holding her in between the two of you. Shaera’s hand outstretched to rest on Aemond’s cheek and grab ahold of a handful of his hair, pulling it gently close to her and she tossed it around to tickle his face, a smile coming to his face, his nose scrunching at her.
With his daughter pressed against his chest and pregnant wife beside them, Aemond could not invision a more picturesque moment, and one in which he never thought he would be able to have. You had given him the love and comfort he had always craved, and then blessed him with a child who was the spitting image of him. His daughter was his shadow, the little girl always accompanying her father, following him step for step. His Princess.
“When will the baby come, Kepa?” Shaera whispered to him, breaking Aemond from his thoughts. You had, still deep in your sleep, reached your hand out again and rested it on your daughters body, seemingly sensing her presence and wanting to hold her close; Aemond moved his own hand to cover yours.
“Soon, my little love, your sibling should be here any day now.”
“I want a sister, can she be a girl, kostilus Kepa?”
“We won’t know until they decide they’re ready to be born, it could be either a girl or a boy.” Aemond felt you moving more on the bed and knew that you’d be stirring from your sleep soon, “Your muna hopes for a boy, with hair just like yours, who she can dress up in reds and greens and golds.”
“What do you hope for Kepa, a boy or a girl?” Shaera wrapped one arm around his neck and pulled herself closer to him, tucking her head underneath his chin, snuggling into his warmth and taking in his comforting scent.
“I, like you, would like for another little Princess. As many as your mother agrees to bless me with, and a little prince eventually for your mothers sake.”
“More little dragons for you to spoil.” Your sleepy laugh came from beside the two Targaryen’s as you shifted the pillow out from underneath your stomach and moved closer to your husband and daughter. Shaera extended her other arm and slid it under your neck and pulled your head closer, your face coming close to Aemond’s as he pressed a soft greeting kiss to your mouth then the tip of your nose, “Something which I think this little dragon enjoys the sound of.” The movements and stretches of the babe within your stomach could be seen, your stomach moving and tapping against Shaera’s leg causing her to smile and sit up, pressing both hands firmly against where she saw movements. You and Aemond watched your daughter happily, you having moved your head to rest on Aemond’s temple, his own hand coming to rest softly on the top of the swell.
Aemond never invisioned having a moment like this, the light filtering in with the far away noises of Kings Landing faint in his ears. His daughter and wife lying against him with his unborn child, days from being born, locked away in your rooms in this moment of private familial calmness. Pressing another kiss to your cheek, Aemond felt completely at peace.

Modern!Aemond Targaryen x pregnant!reader hcs
You had already talked about taking that next step with Aemond; not really planning for a child, but, being in that stage where, if it happened it happened. You continued on with your sex life, only now you weren't using protection.
In retrospect though, you suspect you know exactly when it happened.
Something had just hit you, and you were crazy horny - crazy desperate to get Aemond on top of you, and he gave back everything that you gave with twice the passion.
Aemond had never been one to get feral about cumming inside of you, but that night...fuck. He had your legs hiked up on his shoulders, and he was so, so fucking deep, pistoning in and out with a frenzied speed as he grunted in your ear, 'you want me to fill you up? you want me to breed you with my fucking cum?"
You had moaned lewdly as you clawed at his back and urged him to go faster, nodding madly in between whines as he kept taunting you.
He kept on going on and on until he spilled himself right inside of you, and kept you all stuffed with his cum until he made sure that not even the smallest drop spilled out of you.
Oh, that just had to have been it, you thought, hunched over, sitting on the toilet and waiting with the pregnancy test in your trembling fingers.
You had attributed all your nausea, headaches, and muscle pain due to stress, as it was such a common thing for you to experience when undergoing stressful seasons at work. It all clicked when Aemond called you, as he was on his way home, and asked if you needed anything from the store. You were going to ask for pads/tampons but then it hit you like a ton of bricks that you were late. You asked him instead, with an uneasy tone, to pick up a pregnancy test from the pharmacy.
He looked like he was in a trance when he came home and handed it to you, making you afraid that he was regretting all that talk about having a child together.
You stepped into the living room, where Aemond was sitting expectantly, not really paying attention to the movie playing on the TV.
"Aemond..." he turned immediately, fingers tensing around the remote. "It came out positive. I'm pregnant..." saying it out loud felt so surreal. You had never really considered children, until Aemond. And now there you were.
Aemond stood and came up to you, hands framing your face, gazing at you with a mix of hope and anxiety. "You're pregnant?"
You nodded and showed him the test. When he looked up at you he just smiled - hidden dimples in full display - before he wrapped you up in a hug that expressed everything that he couldn't say with words. Always a man of a few words, your Aemond. And at that moment, you just knew. You were safe, you were wanted and loved.
And most importantly, from that love had blossomed something so, so special. Your own little family - that had once felt so complete with your dogs, Vaghar and Patch - would welcome another addition.
Aemond stayed up that night, immediately making doctor's appointments regardless of the late hour. He wanted to make sure you had access to the best possible care ever, and this was exactly when his last name came in handy.
The pregnancy was tough. You felt exhausted all the time, felt so weird and uncomfortable with your body; your back ached all the time, your headaches never seemed to ease, your feet were swollen and it hurt to stand for long periods of time. You felt hormonal and emotional all the time, and finding a good position to sleep during the night was just not possible.
You've never cried this much in your lifetime, cried about absolutely ridiculous things, or cried for no reason at all. Cried because you forgot to say goodnight to Aemond one night, or one time Aemond yawned and it messed up his eyepatch.
Never felt hornier either. Fuck, you were absolutely insatiable. And Aemond certainly wasn't complaining. He went down on you, and made you cum once with his fingers, and twice with his tongue deep inside of you while his thumb rubbed torturing circles on your clit, pinched it, and sucked your life out of it. A third time, with your thighs suffocating him as he finger-fucked you and slurped and devoured your clit like a starved man. And still, it wasn't enough until you came three more times on his cock.
You were hungry for more, and more, and more, you even growled and cried and pressed Aemond's face to your fluttering cunt after he'd cum.
One time, you cried because your back hurt too much, and your bump had gotten so big that Aemond couldn't quite reach the spot he wanted if he fucked you in missionary. But then sighed with relief when he turned you over on your sides, fitted himself behind you, and hooked up your leg atop his hip. He plunged in deeper that way, making love to you slowly, deliberately. And you were so sensitive all the time that you could feel every single throbbing inch inside of you all the more intensely - his hands squeezing and kneading your tits alone could make you cum.
You swear the only times when your tits didn't hurt was when Aemond was massaging them this way. Because otherwise, they itched and felt too heavy.
But for every uncomfortable moment, there was also happiness. Pure, unadulterated happiness. Because there was this sense in the air that something truly special was going to happen.
You loved taking pictures of your growing belly, and now there was never a time when you didn't have your hand on it. You also felt so loved every time Vaghar and Patch laid their heads on it, and when Aemond rested his hand there when you made love, or on days spent curled on the couch watching films.
Aemond switched up his early morning runs and hikes for easy walks to the park with you. He loved walking with you, especially as your belly started to show. He just felt so proud to be seen with you, and also fiercely protective.
Every weekend, you took trips to the mall to start buying things, and you just know Aemond insisted on buying the most expensive, fanciest things for the baby.
He made sure that you were as healthy as ever, making sure to cook nutritious meals, to be constantly giving protein shakes/juices, and making sure you took your vitamins. And he never missed a doctor's appointment. Never.
The most adrenaline-inducing appointment was when you were going to find out the sex of the baby. Aemond gripped your hand the entire time as you both looked at the grainy sonogram. And he squeezed your hand, the second you heard the ob-gyn say, "Ah, I see it now, there she is. Congratulations!"
That night, the both of you lay in bed, with your hands lovingly rubbing on your belly as you went over names.
"I'm thinking Lucy, or Sophie, Lilly, Vaella, Elaena..." Aemond murmured idly.
"What about 'Amaelia'? with an 'Ae' to keep up with your family's tradition..." he looked down at you and smiled amusedly before nodding, testing the name out. "Amaelia Targaryen. It's brilliant."
Amaelia Targaryen was born after a very long and painful labor, one you thought you wouldn't survive if not for Aemond's encouraging words right in your ear, forehead kisses, and his iron grip in your hand.
When Amaelia is placed in your arms, everything makes sense. Everything feels beautiful and so precious. She's so precious. The most beautiful, tiniest little thing in the world.
With her flushed, wrinkly face, and a faint tuft of silvery hair, like Aemond's.
If she looked tiny in your arms, she looked even tinier in Aemond's, which filled you with an immense sense of unconditional love like you'd never felt before.
When you were resting after the labor, laying on your side, you could see Aemond sitting by the bedside with Amaelia in his arms, whispering sweet nothings and promises of being a better father than his own.
Promising that she'd always be loved, and never alone.
He never ever broke that promise.
Madness came later, when Aegon burst into the room and cradled and lightly bounced Amaelia in his arms. Someone usually repelled by kids, now grinning excitedly at his niece as he claimed his role as her favorite uncle.

Golden and Silver, my favorite colors | Part six

Although it seems to be more complex and difficult to solve than most people, the one-eye prince is shared common characteristics when he is close to losing something.
∴pairing: Aemond Targaryen x Wife!reader
golden and silver masterlist
Along the distinct activities that Aemond and you were supposed to perform throughout the day, there were long moments of synchrony between thoughts and feelings. A storm for both of you, responsible for the tightness in your heart and total deconcentration of the one-eye prince in his training. He couldn't help but think of you for a damn second. Your words, your smell, your beautiful face, your voice, your pain, your hurt... When he thought of his wife a few weeks ago, there wasn't much that intrigued him, that instigated him. Normal, she was. Quite kind, cordial too — like all the other well-born ladies — but most of all: normal.
Now, when Aemond thought of his wife, he always thought of the back of your head. He picture cracking your lovely skull, unspooling your brain, trying to get answers. The primal questions of a marriage: what are you thinking? How are you feeling? What have we done to each other?
What will we do?
You are all that he thinks, what he longs and dreads to be near, and he wonders if that's how you got up to it in dealing with indifference and apathy, your lord husband, or as you compared him the night before, a cold steel. He wanted to explode when Cole dropped his sword, too angry to pick it up from the ground or continue like that. Heavens, he had never been so restrained in a duty as he had been that afternoon. Come to think of it... He has gone with you, actually. He wasn't a liar either, but he mumbled a "yes" when asked by Sir Criston if he felt okay. He understood your fear, truly, he also understood your defensive posture and inability to forgive him quickly. He understood because he knew that if it was done to himself, he wouldn't be able to forgive easily either. But how he wishes it were different, that you could welcome him with your kind questions and affectionate smile, with your soft, shy touch on his hand and forearm. He would like to breathe in your scent again, feel your body as he slept next to you, hug you in his sleep and wake up next to you one moretime.
It seemed like a sudden and almost unwarranted change in behavior, after all, was that the power of the arrival of a child? No. Not quite. The main point for Aemond to resolve to be an ideal husband was indeed the news of your pregnancy, but what made him brood in frustration, anger and desire was your estrangement, your anger, your heavy words, and your posture determined to forget him, martyr him, blame him, and hate him. Although it seems to be more complex and difficult to solve than most people, the one-eye prince is shared common characteristics when he is close to losing something. It was too much for his pride and conscience. He couldn't let you slip between his fingers in that or any other way, after all, even if we mortals don't kill contact or use it, we don't like to lose our things.
And yes, maybe it was sudden the way he longed to feel your soft, demure lips on top of his again, in a kiss so chaste and simple that only a fruitful relationshipcould guarantee. But he wanted, from the bottom of the core and existence, how he wanted…
Perhaps, if he hadn't gone flying to get away from the dangerous fog that enveloped him, Aemond would have arrived in time for your chambers to meet you in your new silver dress, more modest than the gold one from the night before, but just as luxurious.
Most of your morning was spent in bed, dispensing with your lady-in-waiting and the rest of the maids to get rid of fatigue and regain your energies. Your lady mother had said that pregnancy used to tire the body and that the rest period should be longer so that the baby would not be harmed, what daughter would you be if you did not listen and practice one of her few good advices? The weather was good enough for a warm sheet to cover your body as your thought wandered, unfortunately you didn't go far enough to get away from everything that pertained to your husband. The deadly doubt between considering his apology and giving him a real chance or just continuing to pretend his existence never happened.
But then, you also found yourself thinking about the way he wrapped around your body last night, how he brushed his hair away from your face and inhaled your scent, the delicacy how he took your hand at breakfast and all the promises and right words he said, how he called you a wife and how vulnerable he showed himself last night. How you wanted him now by your side to lie on his chest as his wounds healed.
It was so confusing and intense how this marriage took your peg off the axles and showed you so many unknown facets of yourself, from the hardest working to the most spiteful. You couldn't lie, there was still a lot of widespread hurt in your heart, but the main focus on yourperspective still remained the same. So you decided to venture to another point of the castle, as you were still tired to get around to your seclusion corner at the end of Aegon's River, unfortunately, the palace gardens were considerably distant from your chambers, which made you give up reaching them and settle for the beautiful view of the tall trees from the balcony in the hallway. When you let out a calm breath, a familiar voice called your name.  "Princess," you greeted Rhaenyra Targaryen. “Good to see you."
“I say the same," she replied with a simple smile, "it's a beautiful view, isn't it?"
“Indeed.”
In a quick observation about the figure of the princess you noticed two things: she was alone and there was a bulge on her belly, over which she passed her hand upon noticing her gaze.
"I hope it’s a girl this time, I think there's enough male presence around me," she said good-naturedly, making you smile out of courtesy. But perception was not an exclusivity of your, and the princess was not a fool. "What about you?" She could ask what sex of the baby you wanted, but like every girl who has not yet been blessed by Mother with a child, the answer seemed to be very obvious.
Of all the subjects that could be touched, that was the one that took the most out of your sleep. "My belly hasn't started growing yet," you said.
"Are you scared?" She asked.
Fear was an easy feeling to notice, but it wasn't the only thing you felt. It was more terrifying than that, almost as if your chest was being crushed and your world was destroyed by a raging dragon. Your feelings about pregnancy were confused at times and well clarified at others. At the end of the day, you just didn't know what to expect.
"When I was a little younger than your age, my preference was to wear chain mail and march into battle rather than give birth. I kept this thought for a long time, especially when my mother said that childbirth is the battlefield for womenlike us," the princess said. “It didn't get any easier when she was gone, especially the way she was, and when I was expected to have kids. It's terrifying the first time, harrowing, a painful duty to leave, but
I cannot imagine my life without my children." Although without much success, the princess tried to console you. “I believe that having support is important, especially the first time, I'm sure the Queen will know how to choose good handmaidens when the time comes."
"I think so." It wasn't the kindof conversation you'd want to have. “Thank you, princess."
She nodded with a weak smile, gently touching your hand before withdrawing. A distressed breath left your body and you had to lean on yourself to stabilize yourself. You'd like to believe that everything would be okay eventually. A sudden (or accumulated?) weariness hit your legs and before your form collapsed to the ground, the arms of your protector, Sir Koren Fowler.
"My lady! My lady are you okay?"
"Yes, I just... I'm tired." It wasn'tjust that, as your head was spinning until everything went dark.
The news of your malaise made the way through the halls of the Red Keep fairly quickly, as the image of your personal protector carrying your disgruntled body was quite evident. Your lady mother, the Lady Selene, was the first to arrive at your chambers along with Grand Maester Orwyle, sitting next to her as she took your hand.
"What happened?" She asked in fear.
"She fainted, my lady, I don't know why," Sir Koren replied.
“Has she previously shown any signs that could betray her condition?" Orwyle asked this time.
"I don't know, Grand Maester, she looked fine, just a little slower than the normal."
"When was that?" He asked again.
"Before that happens."
The older man mulled over his options in silence, leaning over to feel his temperature. "The period of fatigue and tiredness must have hit her, but fainting is not common, even if each pregnancy is odd and peculiar. The best thing to do is to keep it under review in case another incident of this nature occurs."
"Are there chances of it being anything other than pregnancy?" Your mother asked.
“It's too early to tell, but at some point in her life did she suffer a certain adverse condition?" Orwyle replied.
"No, she's always been a healthy girl."
"Good. It should remain at rest until it improves, but I will be constantly reviewing it in case something out of the ordinary occurs."
Your mother nodded positively, caressing your forehead. “I'll stay here, with her."
Neither man showed opposition to the idea, both of them making a brief bow before leaving, leaving the two of you alone for an almost long time, not only for your husband to arrive with dragon fire and open the door so violently that it made your mother squeal in fright.
"Forgive me, my lady," he said as he walked over to the sideof the bed, keeping his eyes uncast the whole time. "What's happened? Where's the Grand Maester?"
"He's gone sooner. We still don’t know what culminated in the fainting, the Grand Maester Orwyle suggested that it’s some symptom of pregnancy, since she has nohistory with other problems, but will accompany her if she presents a different picture. I must say, it's common for us women to get tired during pregnancy, but I don't know, I don't know it's excessive worry that makes my heart tighten, I just didn't expect it." Your mother replied. "Did you report anything out of the ordinary to her, my prince?"
Aemond didn't even consider your personality-related behavioral change before replying, "No, my lady, she looked fine yesterday and tonight, plus the rest of the days."
"Yesterday... she was very beautiful yesterday, my beautiful girl."
“Indeed.”
As he sat down next to you, holding your hand for answers, to feel anything coming from you, Aemond leaned over and kissed your forehead, caressing your cheek. Peaceful, that's how you looked, but it was the opposite of the way the prince and your mother felt. When the news of your uneasiness was informed after the return of the flight in Vhagar, your husband soon went in search of you, walking (running) so fierce and worried that he didn’t register the murmurs about what had happened. He was terrified, truly, one of the few times he felt the bitterness of fear clogging his arteries. The one-eye prince was a proud, merciless man with difficulty in forgiving. With so much darkness occupying his mind, he was pretty sure he would never forgive himself if something happened to you.
"My prince, I know that the intimacy of your marriage belongs only to you, but did something happen yesterday? Before or during the good ball come to the Princess, between my daughter and you?"
Seven hells, how was he supposed to answer that? With cruel honesty or with a part of events?
"A lot of things happened in those days. It made me realize that I wasn't properly doing my duty as a husband, my conscience as well. We're not in a pleasant moment, but I intend to reverse that, my lady."
The lady Selene kept an eye on every word spoken, drawing a slightnod into her furrowed brows.
"I'm sure she'll forgive him and fight eagerly for the success of his marriage, she's a good lady," she says.
"No, she won't," he countered, adding to your mother's confusion. "And in part, I'm pleased for that, to be able to show her that I really was sincere in my words, that I intend to reverse what I didn't do and be the husband that she needs, that she deserves."
"But the duty of a wife is to ensure the success of the marriage."
“Just like a husband. We also have duties to fulfill, but I didn't expend them and I didn't value her efforts, and I don't think unilaterality is fair. A husband must fight the same way a wife does," he squeezed your hand as he said this, noticing a slow, sleepy bodily response.
Your eyes opened to find your lady mother and lord husband on either side of the bed, eyes more open and full of anticipation. You felt tired, fatigued, and more than considerably hungry. Your two hands were occupied with theirs, fomenting the confusion that formed in your mind.
"My darling, are you listening? How are you?" Your mother asked.
"I... I'm hungry." The two of them laughed weakly. "What happened?"
“You fainted, earlier," your husband informed. "We're worried, my lady."
"Were you?"
"Yes," they spoke in unison. "We did," Aemond said, caressing your hand.
“Of course we did,” your mother said.
"How long have I been here?"
"It's been a while," lady Selene replied. "Sir Koren brought you here. Are you feeling anything else? Any pain or discomfort?"
“No, I'm not, I'm just really hungry. Will there be red fruit pie today?"
"I don't know, honey, but I can ask you to do it especially for you," she replied, smoothing your cheek. Your mother would really like to stay a little longer and make sure you were okay, as well as touch on the subject raised by the prince a few minutes earlier, but she knew it wasn't the most appropriate time, so she restricted herself to kissing your hand and bringing you in for a hug. "I'm back."
When your attention fell on your fingers entwined with your husband's, you sighed before looking at him. Aemond didn't change his attention for a second after entering the room, staring exclusively at your figure. The prince used to believe that he didn't have as much appreciation for touch, including touching and being touched, but all he wanted at that moment was to touch your face and kiss your forehead, as his own mother did to comfort him in childhood. A strange habit for him to replicate, but that's exactly what he did next, keeping your face very close to his own, so intimate it almost hurt.
"May I stay by your side?" He asked. "I need to sanitize myself, I'm smelling like Vhagar."
"It's not a very comforting smell," you said without realizing it, causing a closed-mouth smile on him. Even with a small, pointed reluctance, you allowed it.
Thinking of daring a little, Aemond rested his lips superficially on your own, breathing in your scent... What if he leans a little more?
Before performing the move, taking a close look at your reaction, a knock came from the door to frustrate him, revealing what he had brought to you from the flight. A beautiful field with yellow flowers, chrysanthemums, which he thought you might like if they were put in a beautiful vase or arrangement. When he returned to Red Keep, before learning of your condition, the prince instructed a maid to hand over the bouquet to some craftsman, apparently, the work was quite fast.
Hell, he didn't want to leave your side, but strove eagerly to get up and take the vessel from the hands of the humble servant. "Thank the craftsman Harlon for me," he said quickly, closingthe door and turning back to you.
Your eyes widened to the beautiful, multiple yellow petals coming towards him in a beautiful arrangement. Your breathing was slow, a little heavy, looking at him questioningly.
"I saw theseflowers earlier during the flight in Vhagar, I thought they would be to your liking," Aemond said. "They're light and vibrant, like you in your beautiful dress last night."
Your hands fingered both the vase and the petals with ultra delicacy, delighted with the beautyof your husband's gift and gesture.
"Thank you, Aemond, I really liked them and the arrangement, they are very beautiful. That was very kind of you."
"It pleasures me to know you liked it," he said, standing in front of him.
“Thank you," you said shyly, in a small tone.
You ate the pie that night and as your desire changed, other things were done to satisfy your desire, Aemond and his mother took care of it. That night too your husband crossed an arm over your and hugged you from behind, sleeping again next to you, sniffing your hair and neck in a few moments. The fatigue was intense enough for you to notice the physical affection, but you kept in your mind the beautiful gift of your husband. In the other days, your mother's and Aemond's attention was reinforced on you. Your walks through the gardens were more restricted by your own limitations, being strongly instructed not to leave the company of your personal protector, though that didn't stop you from beingdistracted by a good book or a table of lemon cakes. The Queen, in the middle of the week, made you a quick companion in your chambers — and just as your mother did not mention what happened on the night of the princess's reception. For her, it was a great satisfaction to see if her third child finally fulfilled his duty, and more than that, keeping a comforting hand all the time on your shoulder and back. Maybe things were finally settled, she thought. The Grand Maester also tracked your routine and health to come to a conclusion, always in the crosshairs of your handsome husband's sharp eye as he asked his questions and physical assessments.
Other things had happened over the course of the week, such as the prince finally talking to you more often, even though it was a little weird for you initially. The most recurrent subject at first glance was your health, obviously, but he perggreased what you thought of the wine, the food, the books you have already read, as on the morning of the third day after your malaise:
"My favorite story is that of Nymeria and the 10.000” ships, everything about it fascinates me," you said.
"I have learned that a new book with thehistory of the roinars before the vain of Valyria until the arrival in Dorne has been added to the library. I could bring it if it was to your liking," your husband suggested.
"I'd really love that."
Every day of that week he slept next to you, not always so close to your body, though he longed to feel your warmth and comfort. Heavens, what was happening to him? He never needed that, almost never had that, but on prom night when it all happened, he just had to be by your side and feel your skin, pity you, apologize, be totally honest with you. On another occasion — seven days after your fainting — over dinner, you were talking about dragons (it wasn't a topic that impressed you) and he suggested something when he discovered this:
"Perhaps, if you fly in Vhagar your opinion can change."
A quick, nervous smile edged your lips, almost incredulous.
"Are you serious?"
"Why wouldn't I be?" He asked. "When you're better, if you're interested, the invitation remains."
Maybe that was the first time your gaze had remained connected for so long, neither of you wanting to part ways. Perhaps... maybe it could be a positive sign?

Aemond Targaryen x Reader
Summary: A couple of months ago you were arranged to marry Aemond Targaryen. The Princess of the East they called you, somehow you fell in love at first sight with Aemond. But now, your insecurities come forward regarding the woman from his past.
Aemond was beyond confused.
Just that morning, you told him how you never wished to be his wife.
And now, there you stood, crying your heart out as you kept going on about Alys.
Aemond would be a liar if he said he didn't love Alys, he sure did. His relationship with her however had to end when his mother announced his marriage to the Princess of the East.
Aemond broke off his interest with Alys the moment he was told he would marry someone.
He didn't wish to bring suffering to a woman. While he did love Alys, he knew his duty as a prince.
Then you arrived.
And what a lovely Princess you were. Much like him, you were reserved and he often found you with your nose in a book.
Your beauty took his breath away.
You were much like him, yet so different.
Aemond learned that you were the fourth child in your family, meaning no one really took care of you.
All your siblings were boys.
But nothing broke Aemond's heart more than seeing you cry so much.
"I know you wouldn't even look my way if it wasn't for our marriage. I know I will be never her." you whispered the last part.
It made Aemond move.
He was now standing in front of you, he grabbed your hand as your other hand grabbed his wrist, afraid he would hurt you.
"I do not want you to be her. I want you to be you. Princess of the East. My Wife. As you are. I do not want you to suffer."
But it was clear, you didn't believe him.
And he was not blaming you for it.
Everyone often reminded you just how beautiful Alys is, how much Aemond loves her.
"I will not lie to you, I do have feelings for her, but I also have feelings for you. You are my wife, the woman I will live with for the rest of my life. I wish to have a great relationship with you. So we could try and be happy."
Aemond let go of your hand but you didn't let go of his. Holding his wrist, he felt you pulling him closer.
Your other hand came up to his shoulder and started to push him away.
Pulling him and pushing him at the same time.
It was confusing.
He was confused.
You could see it in his eyes.
"I want nothing more than for us to be happy. But I refuse to live in the shadows of another woman. Refuse to be a second choice because I know you would go running back to her the moment you would be allowed to. Your duty keeps you here, your mother keeps you here. If I cannot be the only one you love, I don't wish false promises of happiness from you." Aemond looked straight into your eyes, his free hand moved to remove his eyepatch.
He honestly thought you might get scared or disgusted but no, you didn't even blink as you looked into his eye and the sapphire which replaced his lost eye.
"I want to have you as you are. You are my wife. You are my only love. I do not wish to have anyone else. She is the past, you are the present and future." he tried to take a step but your hand on his chest pushed him, while your other on his wrist pulled him.
It was clear to him, you were conflicted.
You wanted to be held by him but you were also scared of empty promises.
He understood, bringing your hand to his lips he kissed the back of it.
"I swear on my dragon's and my own life. I am not lying when I say these words to you, Y/N." suddenly your hand on his shoulder stopped pushing. Instead, you grabbed his shirt and pulled him close with both of your hands, arms moving around him, Aemond hugged you back.
You really hoped you didn't make a mistake by trusting him.
You really hoped he was not lying.
You weren't sure what you would do if you found out that he did.
But somehow, as his breath tickled your neck and he pulled you close, smelling your hair, you had a feeling he really wasn't lying.
He will have you as you are, his perfect wife. And you will have him as he is, a great husband who promised you the sky and the stars as he pulled you in for a kiss.

Aemond with a Queen S/o
Too bad his brother Aegon couldn't pull you like you did.
You make him your king and he promised to be a great rular.
Not even two days from your wedding you are pregnant with his child.
He always wanted guards to be around you all the time
Won't even let your family or his to touch your belly or even see you.
"AEMOND!" You yelled as your water broke and Aemond came bursting in. "My darling what's wrong?!" Aemond asked. "MY WATER BROKE! I'M HAVING THE BABY!" You yelled as he carried you to the midwife.
After you give birth to a handsome baby boy who has Aemond hair color, and two different color eyes
The baby's left side is a light purple, the right side is your eye color.
You hold your baby up like Mufasa did to Simba in "The Lion King" when you introduced him from your balcony.
Let me just say this you guys have now 3 more kids now.
The oldest is now 13, the other 11, the next one 8 and the baby is 2.
You can repost and use my stuff but ask me first before you do that. (You can only if I get the credit for my work because I will just say yes anyways)

*Y/N’S POV*
The two of you had made it to Dragonstone safely and quickly. Luckily, the Greens were too busy readying everything for Aegon’s coronation that they hadn’t been prepared for a stunt like the one you and your grandmother pulled. You should’ve been happy as you dismounted Seasmoke, your feet landing on the soft sands of Dragonstone’s beaches.
“Are you alright?” your grandmother asked, rushing to check you over.
You pulled your hands from hers, “I’m fine.” A lie. You both knew it. You had just abandoned the love of your life and it wasn’t even your choice.
She pushed your hair behind your ear, “I’m so sorry, sweet girl. If it could be another way-”
“But it cannot,” you cut her off, “Let us go. I’m already dreading telling my mother the news.”
Your grandmother sighed, “Which do you think will upset her more? That her father’s dead or that her stepmother and siblings have betrayed her and usurped her throne?”
“Gods be good,” you muttered as the two of you began your climb up the long steps of Dragonstone. Your swollen feet would’ve given out had it not been for your grandmother lending you an arm.
It had been a while since you’d been to Dragonstone, your mother had taken all of you there to live shortly after Joffrey was born. You had returned to King’s Landing for your wedding when both you and Aemond came of age then you didn’t see your mother until just recently when she came to defend Luke’s right to Driftmark and simultaneously announced your two eldest brothers’ engagement to your younger cousins, Baela and Rhaena. It almost seemed foreign to you even if you had spent most of your early childhood here.
“Princess Y/N, Princess Rhaenys,” Ser Lorent greeted you, “We weren’t expecting you. And on dragon back no less.”
“We need an audience with Princess Rhaenyra and Prince Daemon immediately. It is a matter of extreme urgency,” your grandmother explained.
He gave a curt nod, “Follow me.” He led the two of you through the gates as you waddled and held close to your grandmother. He stopped before a set of doors, “One moment.”
Ser Lorent slipped into the room. You waited for a few moments before he returned, “They’ll see you now.”
You followed him once more into the Great Hall of Dragonstone, “The Princess Y/N Velaryon and the Princess Rhaenys Targaryen.”
“Y/N,” your mother beamed at you. You practically ran into her arms. You laughed as your swollen bellies collided a bit, “You’re glowing. Motherhood becomes you.”
“You as well, Mother,” you smiled back before letting out a soft sigh.
“Princess Rhaenys,” she greeted your grandmother, “Might we hope for news of Lord Corlys’ recovery?”
“Viserys is dead,” she replied rather bluntly.
“Grandmother,” you snapped at her slightly.
Your mother’s welcoming grin had fallen as Daemon’s head whipped around, “I grieve this loss with you, Rhaenyra. My cousin, your father, possessed a kind heart,” your grandmother walked closer, “There is more,” your mother’s hand tightened around yours as tears built in not just her eyes but yours as well, “Aegon has been crowned as his successor.”
A soft wince left your mother as she dropped your hand to cradle her stomach slightly, “They crowned him?” her eyes nearly vacant as the tears slid down her cheeks.
“How did Viserys die?” Daemon asked as he leaned himself and Dark Sister against the Painted Table.
“I could not say,” Rhaenys sighed.
Your mother’s voice quivered, “How long ago?”
“A day past, perhaps two,” your grandmother answered, “Y/N and I were made prisoners in our quarters while the Queen made her preparations.”
“Viserys has been slain,” Daemon asserted.
“Alicent demanded you both declare for Aegon,” she looked between you and your grandmother.
“She did,” your mother’s brow raised at your grandmother’s answer.
“We refused her,” you cut in.
“And yet you are alive,” Daemon had a teary glare set on the two of you.
“The High Septon crowned Aegon in the Dragonpit,” Rhaenys explained.
“We witnessed it ourselves just before we fled on Meleys and Seasmoke,” you continued.
“They crowned him before the masses,” your mother’s voice filled with agony as her hand clutched the end of the table.
“So that the masses would see him as their rightful king,” you clarified.
Daemon’s voice full of anger, “That whore of a Queen murdered my brother and stole his throne. And you both could have burned them all for it.”
“A war is like to be fought over this treachery, to be sure,” Daemon nodded slightly with a grunt, “But that war is not mine to begin. Nor is it Y/N’s. I only rushed this warning to you out of loyalty to my husband and to my house.”
“The Greens are coming for you, Mother,” you added, “And for my brothers and for me and my baby.”
“You should leave Dragonstone at once,” Rhaenys turned to leave.
Tears fell from her eyes before a sharp gasp left her mouth, one of her hands clutching her belly and the other on the table for support. All of you turning to her, concerned.
“Mother?” you put your hand to her back as she keeled over, “What is it?”
She quickly folded up the ends of her dress, sticking her hand up the ruffles. A soft gasp left your mouth at the sight of her bloodied fingers, “The babe is coming.”
“Maester!” you cried out, “Get the Maester! Now!” The guards in the hall rushed out, Daemon and you moved to support your mother. The Maester met you outside of her chambers.
“We’ve got her,” he reassured you.
  “Mother, are you sure-”
“Get out!” she practically shrieked. You and Daemon were quick to listen and scurried off.
“Where are my brothers?” you asked him, practically running to keep up with him as he stormed through the halls.
“Your grandmother has already gone to fetch them from the beach,” Daemon’s voice curt.
“Daemon,” you stopped him, “There was nothing we could have done.”
“Don’t,” he cut you off, “Rhaenys, I understand. She’s never been the biggest adversary to your mother or to me. But you? They stole your mother’s birthright and you just let them-”
“I did not! I was made a prisoner. The Queen only kept me alive so she could use me as a political bargaining tool to get my mother to bend the knee! And yet I refused her even when she assured me that no harm would come to any of you if I bowed to Aegon.”
Daemon scoffed, “The One-Eyed Prince must really have you wrapped around his finger.”
“I beg your pardon?” you hissed, “Do not speak of my husband in-”
“Your husband is a traitor. And do you know what happens to traitors, Princess?” your jaw clenched at his words, “They die. Screaming.”
“My husband had no choice, just as I did,” you spat.
Daemon scoffed, bordering on a chuckle, “You just keep telling yourself that.”
*AEMOND’S POV*
“Aemond, please, stop pacing,” Alicent groaned, “Drink some water and-”
“Water?” Aemond scoffed, “Will water bring my pregnant wife back to me, Mother? Will water ever convince her to forgive me? Or me to forgive her? Tell me, Mother. Will it?”
Alicent sighed, “I only meant that you need to ease your mind, darling. Your grandfather has already gone to give Rhaenyra the terms of surrender. No harm will come to any of them, especially not to Y/N.”
“You don’t know that,” he shook his head, “She is going to be surrounded by people who only thirst for the throne, no matter the cost. It was my job to keep her safe and now I cannot even do that. My child will be fatherless and-”
“Your child will not be fatherless because they will have a father,” the Queen Mother cut in as she took her son’s hands in her own, “You will be there to father your child, Aemond. Rhaenyra will agree to Aegon’s terms because it is the best thing for the Realm and all will be as it was.”
Aemond’s hands fell from his mother’s, “It will never be as it was. My wife and child are lost.”
“That’s not true, Aemond,” Alicent sniffled.
“It is, Mother. I will have to learn to accept it. Live with it. I have duties to this family and I cannot allow my judgment to be clouded.”
The Queen Mother was taken aback by her younger son’s words. She had never seen Aemond happier than when he was with Y/N and she nearly wept tears of joy at his excitement to become a father. But that light in his eyes was dwindling and it broke her heart to know that she was partly to blame.
She cleared her throat, quickly wiping the tears from her eyes, “We need to send terms to the larger houses first. Stark, Tully, Baratheon. Lord Borros Baratheon seems an ideal man to-”
“I will fly to Storm’s End myself,” Aemond cut in, “Lord Borros has four unmarried daughters. We could promise Daeron to at least one of them.”
Alicent nodded in agreement, “Yes, we could. But Aemond, I only want you to go if you feel-”
“I leave on the morrow,” he answered quickly before leaving his mother’s chambers.
The One-Eyed Prince had chosen to stuff his feelings away, not only from others like his mother, but from himself as well. Aemond had forced himself to face the belief that he would never see his wife again, would never kiss her or hug her. And that his child would never meet him and he’d never get to hold them or watch them grow. His entire heart was gone.
*Y/N’S POV*
The wind carried off the dark smoke of the funeral pyre. You wept softly with your brothers as the flames cradled your late baby sister, who your mother had lovingly named Visenya, after Aegon the Conqueror’s fierce sister-wife.
“This was not supposed to happen,” you sniffled.
Your twin brother, Jacaerys sighed, “No, it wasn’t. First, they killed Grandsire and now our sister. The Greens will pay for this.”
“Jace,” Luke whispered, “Not here. Not now.”
The attention was drawn away from the funeral pyre as a member of Viserys’ former Kingsguard approached your mother. He removed his helm, revealing Ser Erryk, your saviour back in King’s Landing. You turned to your grandmother who already held a small smirk on her face.
Ser Erryk removed your grandsire’s crown from his bag and knelt before your mother, “I swear to ward the Queen with all my strength and give my blood for hers,” he began to recite the Kingsguard vows as Daemon took the crown from him, “I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall guard her secrets, obey her commands, ride at her side, and defend her name and honour,” Ser Erryk finished.
Daemon approached your mother before gently placing the crown onto her head and falling onto his knee, “My Queen.”
The rest of you followed suit, slowly bending the knee to your new Queen. You held Joffrey’s hand as you guided him down with you and your older brothers. Everyone was then instructed to gather in the Great Hall to await the arrival of your mother. You elected to walk alongside your brothers and cousins.
“She was born to wear that crown,” you spoke proudly.
Luke smiled slightly, “Grandsire would have been proud.”
“Not if what the Greens claim is true,” Jace scoffed, “He would have rather seen Aegon bearing it apparently.”
“Jace,” you snapped at him, “Our mother is the rightful Queen. No one here thinks otherwise. The Greens will be dealt with when the time comes.”
“And what of your husband, Y/N?” Rhaena had cut in.
You had not thought about Aemond after the events with your mother, “I am not sure, Rhaena. What happens to him will not be up to me but to our Queen.”
“And what if she wants them all dead?” Baela asked, “That seems to be the customary punishment with traitors. Aemond is a traitor, is he not?”
You swallowed hard as you fidgeted with your wedding ring, “I know you’d all prefer it that way,” you sniffled, wiping your eyes, “Aemond, good and dead. Vhagar free for Rhaena to claim, as it should have been, right?” They all stood silent, “I know you all hate him and I know you all have good reason to. But he is still my husband. The father of my child. And the man that I love. So, my apologies if talk about murdering him does not bring me as much joy as it does to you.”
  “Y/N, that is not-”
“It’s alright, Luke,” you cut him off, “I do not wish to discuss it further. It is time for us to hear from our Queen.”
You turned, walking ahead of them towards the Great Hall. The rest of the lords and ladies congregated around the Painted Table as it lit up in all its glory. Rhaena had become your mother’s designated cupbearer and waited near the top of the table, Baela joining your grandmother’s side while you and your brothers walked to the far end of the table.
Your mother, accompanied by some of her Queensguard entered the room as Daemon moved to introduce her, “Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, First of Her Name, Queen of the Andals, and the Rhoynar, and the First Men. Lady of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm.” All of us bowed to her, “Your Grace.”
Rhaena approached her, “Wine, my Queen.”
Your mother kindly took the goblet, “Thank you, Rhaena. Come,” she nodded for both your cousins to join at the table. There was a slight awkwardness that filled the air as you all stood around. Your mother looked uncomfortable, “What is our standing?” she asked.
“We have thirty knights, a hundred crossbowmen, and three hundred men at arms,” Daemon answered, “Dragonstone is relatively easy to defend, but as an instrument of conquest, our army leaves a lot to be desired. We have sent word to my loyal men in the City Watch. I’ll have some support there, but I cannot speak to the numbers.”
“We already have declarations from Celtigar and Staunton, Massey, Darklyn, Bar Emmon,” the Maester explained as Jace placed the pieces onto the table.
“My lady mother was an Arryn,” your mother pointed to the Eyrie on the table, “The Vale will not turn cloak against their own kin.”
“Riverrun was always a close friend to your father, Your Grace,” the Maester noted, “With Prince Daemon’s acquiescence, I’ve already sent ravens to Lord Grover.”
“Lord Grover is fickle and easily swayed,” your mother huffed, “He will need to be convinced of the strength of our position and that we will support him should it come to war.”
“I’m going to treat with him myself,” Daemon answered.
“What of Storm’s End and Winterfell?” Lord Steffon Darklyn asked.
“There has never lived a Stark who forgot an oath. And with House Stark, the North will follow,” Lord Bartimos Celtigar answered him.
“Lord Borros Baratheon will need to be reminded of his father’s promises,” your mother declared before turning to your grandmother, “What news from Driftmark?”
“Lord Corlys sails for Dragonstone,” Rhaenys answered.
“To declare for his Queen,” Daemon interrupted.
“The Velaryon fleet is in my husband’s yoke. He decides where they sail,” she rebutted.
“We shall pray for both you and your husband’s support,” your mother stepped in, “Just as we prayed nightly for the Sea Snake’s return to good health. There’s no port on the Narrow Sea that would dare to make an enemy of the Velaryon fleet,” she turned back to the table, “And our enemies?”
“We have no friends among the Lannisters,” Daemon explained, “Tyland has served the Hand too long to turn against him. And Otto Hightower needs the Lannister fleet.”
“Without the Lannisters we are not like to find any allies west of the Golden Tooth,” your mother concluded.
“No,” Daemon was quick to disagree, “The Riverlands are essential, Your Grace.”
“Pray forgive my bluntness, Your Grace, but talk of men is moot,” one of the lords spoke up, “Your cause owns a power that has not been seen in this world since the days of Old Valyria. Dragons.”
Your mother was a bit stunned at first, “The Greens have dragons as well.”
“They have three adults, by my count,” Daemon was again one of the first to speak up, “We have Syrax, Caraxes, and Meleys,” your grandmother scoffed under her breath at the mention of her dragon, “Your sons have Vermax, Arrax, and Tyraxes. Your daughter has Seasmoke. Baela has Moondancer.”
“Daemon, none of our dragons have been to war,” your mother argued.
“There are also unclaimed dragons,” Daemon ignored her as he continued, “Vermithor and Silverwing dwell on the Dragonmont, still riderless. Then there are the three wild dragons, all of whom nest here.”
“And who is to ride them?” your mother asked. Oddly one of her messengers rushed up the stairs, Ser Erryk going to meet him.
“Dragonstone has thirteen to their four. I also have a score of eggs incubating in the Dragonmont,” Daemon continued, “Now, we need a place to gather, a toehold large enough to house a sizable host,” he placed a piece down, “Here, at Harrenhal. We cut off the west, surround King’s Landing with the dragons. And we could have every Green head mounted on spikes before the fucking moon turns.”
Your mother’s jaw tensed at Daemon’s attitude before Ser Erryk interrupted, “Your Grace, a ship has been sighted offshore: a lone galleon, flying a banner of a three-headed green dragon.”
Daemon was quick to move, “Alert the watchtowers. Sight the skies,” he snatched Dark Sister from the table. The guards, your mother, and Daemon went to go meet with whomever washed up onshore. You knew Aemond had not accompanied them, he would’ve rode in proudly on Vhagar.
You were sitting in your chambers, reading an Old Valyrian story and humming softly to your bump, “Ahem,” you looked up to see Jace and Luke standing in the doorway, “May we come in?”
You nodded, “Yes,” placing down your book and standing from your seat, “What is it?”
“We just wanted to apologize for earlier,” Luke answered, “We should not-”
“Not we,” Jace stopped him, “Me. I know what you did couldn’t have been easy, Sister. And I apologize for my lack of empathy. I should have been more understanding of your situation.”
You sighed, “It’s alright. I know your past with Aemond is not a pleasant one,” Luke shifted uncomfortably, “But it is the past. We have grown. We’re not the same people, we’re not children anymore. And whatever is about to happen to all of us is larger than some childhood quarrel. I just want you to both understand that.”
“We do,” Luke nodded, “I’ve wanted nothing more than to put all that ugliness on Driftmark behind me. I’ll never forgive myself for what I did and I know Aemond won’t either. But, that does not mean we should dwell on it. He is my brother-by-law and the father of my future niece or nephew.”
“You’re a good man, Luke,” you smiled at him, reaching over and giving his hand a squeeze.
“Man?” Jace chuckled, “He’s still a boy.” You both rolled your eyes at his lame teasing, “But, he is right. We care about you and the baby far more than some fight from years ago.”
You reached over and gave his hand a squeeze as well, “Thank you, brothers. This talk meant a lot to me.”
“You’re our sister, Y/N. We love you,” Luke smiled softly.
“I love you both,” you hugged them, “I just wonder what the next step is.”
“As do we,” Jace agreed, “The Greens are wise enough to know that they are outnumbered when it comes to dragons. Ships are another thing. Without Grandsire’s fleet, we’re left to whatever men we have on land.”
“Grandsire is a loyal man. House Velaryon is not fickle,” you explained.
There was word that your mother and Daemon had returned from their meeting with the Greens. Otto Hightower, himself, had presented Aegon’s terms of surrender to your mother. All the lords who backed your mother continued to argue back and forth on what should be done next, Daemon and your mother especially bumping heads on the matter. Your paternal Grandsire, Lord Corlys, had finally landed on Dragonstone but he was still weak and needed his rest. You opted to walk the halls of the castle in an attempt to ease your own worries.
“Y/N,” you turned to see your mother walking towards you.
“Mother,” you greeted as she joined your side, “How are you? Is Daemon-”
“Fine,” you could always tell when she lied but you decided not to push the matter further, “And Princess Rhaenys is with Lord Corlys as we speak,” she stopped the both of you, taking your hands, “How’re you, my sweet girl? I feel that with everything that has been happening, I have neglected to check in on you and your condition.”
You caressed your belly, “I’m alright. Just a lot on my mind, I suppose.”
“That is understandable. You have been through quite a lot in the past few days. But,” she moved to pull something from her pocket, “Perhaps this will help put your mind at ease.” she extended a letter to you, the Targaryen wax seal still unbroken around it, “Otto Hightower brought it with him. He told me that it was for you, from Prince Aemond.”
Your breath caught in your throat, “Aemond?” you practically choked out as you stared at the letter in her hands, “Did he say anything else? What it might be about or-”
She shook her head, “Only that it be delivered to you directly and urgently.”
You fidgeted with your wedding ring, wondering whether or not you should take it, “I..” you could barely find your words.
“Y/N,” she took the ringed hand you had been fidgeting with, “Take it.”
“But, what if he wants me to come back? Or worse, what if he never wants to see me again? I-I wouldn’t know what-”
“You won’t know what to do until you read the letter,” she cut you off, “So,” she placed it into your hands, “Go to your chambers. Read it. Then decide.”
You nodded, “Yes, Moth- sorry. Yes, Your Grace.”
She caressed your cheek, “I am still your mother. Doesn’t matter if I wear a crown or not,” she kissed your head, “Now go.”
You let out a deep breath before heading towards your chambers. Shutting the door behind you as you finally broke the wax seal and unrolled the parchment. Immediately recognizing the neat cursive that he had always worked so hard to perfect because “how will I ever be taken seriously if I write like a seven-year-old?”
My Dearest, Y/N,
I know you little thought to hear from me. I little thought to even be writing this letter in the first place. However, I knew I needed to because there is so much I need to say.
I miss you, my wife. My true family. And I know you could probably never bring yourself to forgive me and I cannot say I blame you. I know my decision broke your heart just as yours did mine. I should not have made you choose. And I know we are both in an impossible situation. But I believe I may have found a solution to these problems.
Tonight, at the hour of the wolf. Meet me on the far side of Dragonstone, away from the guards and the castle. Come alone and tell no one.
All My Love,
Your Husband, Aemond
You continued to re-read it as hundreds of questions flooded your mind. What did he mean by solution? What if this was some sort of trap set by the Greens? What if this wasn’t from Aemond at all? And none of them could be answered if you didn’t listen to the instructions.
Even if you told your typically understanding family, war was afoot. Even if your mother trusted it, Daemon would never. He’d go to meet Aemond himself, Dark Sister in hand. Telling anyone was not an option. Once again, you had no choice.
The darkest time of night came faster than you would have hoped for. You paced your chambers for quite a while, spinning your betrothal ring over and over as you did. You nearly jumped whenever you heard guards or servants pass by your door. And before you could think twice, you had thrown on your cloak and boots before walking out of your chambers.
You tried to conceal your face with your hood as you hurried through the empty halls of Dragonstone. The sound of your heels against the cobblestone echoed throughout them. You continued a quick pace, well as quick as you could go at nearly eight months pregnant.
“Y/N?” a voice called from behind you.
You turned to see your mother, “Mother,” you gave her a nod, “Good evening.”
She raised a brow at you, “Where are you off to? It is quite late.”
You stuttered a bit before finding your words, “I was just going on a walk. It has been quite hard to find sleep in these last few months of pregnancy.”
She smiled softly, “It was the same for me when I was pregnant with you and Jace. I suppose it must be first-time mother worries and such. Would you like me to ring for a servant? Perhaps they could give you something to help you sleep.”
You shook your head at her offer, “It’s alright. I’ve found that evening air has been the best remedy thus far.”
“Alright,” she nodded, “Be careful. Be sure to find sleep at some point. There is another small council meeting tomorrow and your attendance is needed.”
“Your Grace,” you smirked as you curtsied.
“Good night, sweet girl,” she smiled before turning to her own chambers. You waved her goodbye before continuing on your mission. You had elected not to take Seasmoke, worrying that you might wake someone. The air was crisp and cool as you trekked to the other end of the island. When you had finally made it to your meeting place, the breeze from the ocean was salty as it hit your face and tousled your hair, your fingers twirling your ring round and round.
“You never could break that nervous habit,” his familiar tone practically rang in your ear.
You whipped around to face him, “I-I was not sure what to expect. Part of me believed this to be some sort of trap. I’d be a fool not to be nervous.”
He let out a low chuckle as he finally stepped into the moonlight, “You know me well, my love. But I assure you, I am not here to trick you.” Aemond stalked closer to you, one of his hands slowly taking yours while the other rested on the curve of your bump.
“Then why are you here, Aemond? Surely, it is not to back my mother’s claim or convince me of your brother’s.”
“I am to take a new wife.” At first, his words seemed to be in some foreign language. That was the only possible explanation your mind could muster before they finally sank in.
“W-What?” your voice shook, a combination of anger and sadness. You tore away from his touch.
“My brother’s council speaks of annulling our marriage and betrothing me to one of Lord Borros Baratheon’s daughters, so that we may ensure the loyalty of Storm’s End. I am to fly there on the morrow to present the terms to Lord Borros in person.”
The tears welled in your eyes, “And you are telling me this, why?” You did not give him the time to answer, “Did you truly need to hurt me even more? Why not just drive a blade through my heart and be done with it, Aemond? I would rather be dead than live just to see you be given to someone else!” you sobbed, “I-”
Your voice faded off as a sharp pain hit your abdomen. A tightening cramp-like feeling making you gasp and nearly keel over.
  “Y/N? What is it?”
“The babe...” you grunted between words, trying to catch your breath, “The babe is coming. Now!”
Aemond did not hesitate to scoop you into his arms, the pain of your contractions distracting you from just how fast he was running.
“Stop there!” Ser Erryk tried to step in front of Aemond.
“Princess Y/N is in labour,” he huffed, “You must let me pass.”
“Prince Aemond, you helped in the usurping of the throne. I cannot allow you-”
“Seven Hells, just let him in! We can deal with all this political horse shit afterward!” you cried.
Ser Erryk seemed taken aback, “Y-Yes, Princess.” The guards finally stepped aside as Aemond carried you through the halls, finally arriving at your bedchamber.
“Get the midwives and the Maester now!” he barked his instructions at one of your handmaidens.
“AHHHH!” your screams practically shook the walls of the castle. Nearly all of the staff questioned Aemond’s surprising presence in the room but were too focused on your labours to pay attention for long.
“Y/N?!” your mother’s voice trembled with worry as she entered your room.
“Mother,” you called out for her, shakily raising one of your hands to her.
“I’m here, sweet girl,” she quickly took your hand, sitting at your side, “I’m right here.” She had been too consumed with you to even note Aemond’s presence on the other side of the bed, “What in Seven Hells is he doing here? Guards!”
“No!” you stopped her, “I-I want him here. He...Seven Hells...He needs to be here. Please, M-Mother.”
She nodded hesitantly as she stroked back your hair, “Alright, Y/N.”
“Push, Princess,” one of the midwives encouraged, “Push!”
“AAAGHHHH! FUCK! AHHHHH!” you screamed, pushing with all your might.
Hours and hours seemed to pass and still, your baby was not here. Sweat dripped from your skin as you tiredly clung to Aemond and your mother.
  “I-I can’t,” you whimpered, “I’m...exhausted.”
“The child is close, Princess,” the Maester reassured you, “Just a few more-”
“I cannot!” you exclaimed, panting as your head lolled over to Aemond, “I’m sorry.”
He shook his head fervently, “You have nothing to be sorry for.”
“But I do, A-Aemond. I could not be the wife you needed. I can’t even birth our child. I-It’s no wonder you will be taking a new bride.”
“You are doing what?” your mother glared at him, “Do you truly think you could just make a fool of my daughter? Of your child? Of our family? I could have your head-”
“Your Grace,” he stopped her, “I have no intention of annulling my marriage to your daughter or make a fool of anyone of you especially not Y/N or my child.”
  “B-But you told me that...”
“I told you that my brother’s council desires this. I do not desire being married to anyone but you, my love.” he corrected, “Iksā ñuhon hae iksan aōhon.” You are mine as I am yours.
Aemond pressed his forehead to your damp one, “Avy jorrāelan.” I love you.
“Avy jorrāelan,” I love you. “Now, push. Our child is nearly with us.”
You nodded as you took in a deep breath before resuming your labours. Your nails dug into both your mother and Aemond as you pushed. A sudden relief overcame you as the soft cries of your newborn filled the air.
“A girl,” one of the midwives announced, “As healthy as can be. Praise the Mother!”
Smiles filled the room as they handed the infant to you, “Y-You’re so beautiful,” you cried. But before you could truly enjoy the moment, there was some sort of pressure from between your legs. You assumed it was the afterbirth as you pushed again.
“There is another babe,” the Maester frantically answered as he resumed his work.
“Another b- AHHHHH!” a final scream before those soft whimpers filled the room once again.
“This one’s a boy, Princess,” the midwife smiled, “Just as healthy.”
They handed Aemond the squalling baby boy, “Seven Hells.”
Your mother kissed your forehead, “Well done, sweet girl. They’re beautiful.”
You sighed contently, “Mother, I have something to ask you.”
  “Anything,” she smiled.
“I think I want to name her Visenya.”
Tears fell from her eyes, “It is wonderful. Just wonderful,” she sniffled, “And for the boy?”
  “Viserys,” you answered, “After Grandsire.”
“My dearest girl,” she sniffled, wiping her tears as she stood from the bed.
“What do you think?” Aemond had hardly pulled his gaze from your children.
He let out a content sigh, “They are more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Absolutely perfect.”
And that’s what that entire moment should have been. Absolutely perfect.
Your mother had rejoined your side, Daemon accompanying her this time, “I’m sorry but I must insist that Prince Aemond is removed from these chambers and brought to the cells to await proper questioning.”
“Mother, please,” you begged as the midwife took your son from Aemond while Daemon went to seize him, “Daemon, no!”
“I warned you, Y/N,” Daemon spoke, “This is how it has to be.”
“No, it is not,” Aemond finally cut in.
“You betrayed your Queen,” Daemon scoffed, “You committed treason. And now you must pay-”
Aemond fell to one knee, pulling his sword and raising it towards your mother, “I pledge my sword and my allegiance to Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, First of Her Name, Queen of the Andals, and the Rhoynar, and the First Men. Lady of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm.” He stood again, sheathing his sword, “I love your daughter, Your Grace. And if bending the knee is all it takes to prove my loyalty to her, then I will do it. And whatever else I must to ensure that I never risk losing her again.”
You bit back tears as you rocked your children. All eyes fell to your mother for the final decision, “Very well. Prince Aemond Targaryen, you are hereby the sworn protector of Princess Y/N Velaryon as well as her children Princess Visenya Targaryen and Prince Viserys Targaryen, and any future heirs she may bear. By order of your Queen.”

“Aww,” you coo softly, eyes filled with adoration as you study the man on your lap, “Are you mommy’s precious little baby? Hm?” You brush a silvery lock of hair off of his face, trailing your thumb over the light flush across his cheeks as your other hand rubs soothingly over one of his biceps.
Aegon hummed and nodded as best he could around your pert nipple, bright eyes lazily blinking up at you. One of your thumbs gently sweeps away tears from the corners of his eyes while you gently rock him as best you can, gazing at him with a smile. You stay quiet for a while, taking pleasure in the way he clings to you so needily, the way he’s looking at you as if you hung the stars in the sky.
You can’t help the sigh that leaves your lips at the feel of his warm mouth around your nipple, his tongue flicking and teasing at the sensitive skin as he carefully suckles it in his mouth. “Shh,” you whisper, calming Aegon when you see another wave of tears threatening to spill from his violet eyes, “I promise there is nothing to worry yourself over, my little prince,” you tell him softly, trying to squeeze him somehow closer to you, “Just rumors, nothing more.”
You couldn’t help but feel protective of Aegon, your heart twisting as you remember the state he was in at the beginning of the evening when he had first loudly burst into your chamber.

The fire in the hearth warmed your skin as you sat on the sofa in the small sitting area of yours and Aemond’s chambers, easily guiding the needle through the fabric of your embroidery as you hummed a song. With a sigh, you held the hoop up and tilted your head as you examined your work, nearly dropping it when you jumped at the sound of the heavy doors of your chambers crashing open.
You jumped up, whirling around to see who could’ve possibly been disturbing you in such a manner, already glaring before you’d even turned your head. Your narrowed eyes widened however when you saw Aegon striding toward you, a pained look on his face.
“Is it true?” He had questioned, coming to a stop a little ways away from you, voice shaking even through the angry tone of his voice.
“Is what true?” Your eyebrows furrowed together in confusion as you clasped your hands in front of you.
His frown had faltered for a second, eyes already sparkling with tears as his hands clenched at his sides. “The whispers in court,” he explained, gaze flitting from you to the stone floor, “The rumors about – about you and my brother.”
Shaking your head, you had carefully walked toward him, “My love, I am sure they are untrue,” your voice had been gentle, “I cannot even imagine what they would be ab—“
“That you’re pregnant!” His voice was thick with unshed tears as he spit out the words, “That you must be!” This had left you dumbfounded, unable to do anything but gawk at him, which had only served to upset him further. He had sighed heavily and fixed you with a tearful gaze, bottom lip quivering, “So it’s true?”
“No!” You rushed out, emphatically shaking your head as you hurried to him. “My love, my sweet baby,” your fingers carded through his hair when you reached him. You had gently pulled his gaze to yours before you had cupped his cheeks, your fingers already damp from the tears streaking them, “That is nothing more than court gossip, I promise you. I swear upon the Mother, you’ve nothing to worry about.”
The dam had finally broken as he hiccuped out a sob, his shoulders sagging. “D-Do you mean it?” He’d asked meekly, voice so small you had felt your heart squeeze painfully in your chest.
“Oh,” you had taken his hands in yours and led him to your bed, sitting him down at the edge as his body started shaking with sobs. Sitting next to him, you wrapped your arms around his neck, gently cupping the back of his head as he slumped against you and rested a wet cheek against your chest. “My little prince, I swear to you I do,” you pressed a kiss to the top of his head, rocking the two of you together, “You know Aemond and I would not do that to you.”
His fingers had clung to your sides as he sobbed, hands bunching in the fabric of your gown. “They’re saying it’s been long enough,” he’d said mournfully, “Th-That it’s been three moons since the w-wedding and y-you must be by now.”
You’d stroked his hair comfortingly and rested your chin on the top of his head, feeling his hot tears trail down your cleavage, “You know your brother and I would speak with you first, my love. We would not leave you out, you know how this arrangement works.”
The only answer you got was a small sniffle, his shoulders still trembling, although not nearly as badly. You had let him calm down for a moment more, rocking him against you while you hummed his favorite song.
Eventually, he had calmed down, his shoulders steadying and his breath evening out. You had almost assumed he was asleep before you heard him whimper against your collarbone, pink lips mouthing needily at your skin. Your lips had quirked up in a smile as you had gently pulled him up, his small whine making you chuckle as you looked into his eyes.
“Do you need some time with mommy, my little love?”
Tumblr media
Which is how you found yourself in your current position – reclined on the plush pillows of your bed with Aegon’s head in your lap, his lips eagerly suckling at your breast, not getting any real milk but the action calmed him still. You shiver slightly in the cool breeze that wafts in from the balcony, the air growing colder now that the sun has set.
Aegon sighs contentedly, his warm breath fanning across your chest as small whimpers and whines slip past his lips. The small noises make you chuckle as you run a hand over his bare chest, “You’re my favorite little prince, do you know that?” You whisper, softly tickling his side enough to make him giggle and squirm. He smiles around your breast and nods happily, his nose digging into the fat of your breast as he presses himself more firmly against you.
You stiffen a little at the sound of your chamber door opening once again, unable to see the entryway from the decorative screen you and your husband had placed in front of the bed. You make no move to disturb Aegon, though – bless the poor maids but there is not much they haven’t seen already. It is not a maid, however, that rounds the corner and you are instead met with the wide, surprised eye of your husband.
After a second, the shock melts off of his face and he smirks at the sight of the two of you, his older brother still suckling away at your breast as if nothing were amiss. “My, my,” he tuts, stalking across the room to deposit the stack of books he carries onto the small breakfast table by the balcony before returning his attention to you once more, “I left my wife this morning dripping with my spend and already I return to a babe.”
“Aemond!” You hiss, frowning when you hear Aegon whimper at your chest, “Please, he is already in a state.”
“And in our chambers,” Aemond takes a seat at the table, unlacing his boots before setting them to the side, along with his leather tunic, “Normally you two reserve this… intimacy for his rooms.” His long fingers quickly untie his trousers, leaving them hanging from his slender waist as he moves about your chambers, poking the fire in the hearth back to life and tidying the papers on the writing desk.
You soothe Aegon when he whimpers again, looking up at you with questioning, unsure eyes as a blush blooms on his cheeks. Even if his brother knows the details of your relationship with him, and even though he had walked in on him in this exact position before, he couldn’t help but feel so shy and vulnerable when he got this way.
“Shh, my sweet,” you speak softly to the man at your breast, running your fingers through his pale hair, “Just relax, you’re okay.” Your words seem to settle him and his eyes grow droopy and half-lidded once more, a contented groan rumbling through his chest.
“You should have seen him earlier,” you turn back to Aemond, eyes following him as he walks to your dressing table, “Poor thing came crying about court gossip.” You didn’t miss the small eye roll your husband gave at you calling his brother “poor thing” but you chose to ignore it for the time being; you didn’t love their endless taunts and teasing but they were still brothers, after all.
“And what was the sweet babe weeping about this time?” Aemond asks, his voice dripping with derision as he takes a cloth from the small wash basin on the dressing table and quickly wipes at his neck and shoulders, droplets of water streaming down his defined frame and running into the lines and dips of the muscles on his chest, arms, and abdomen.
Aegon growls at your chest, not missing the mockery in his brother’s tone. You try to calm him but it’s no use, he pulls off of your chest and throws Aemond a vicious look; you merely make yourself comfortable against the pillows and sigh tiredly. Gods be good, you thought, staring up at the stone ceiling as if the Seven would appear to offer their guidance; you love the two brothers more than anything else but you could do without their brotherly spats.
“Well?” Aemond goads, his eye widening as he stares at his brother, a silent challenge.
“He feared I was pregnant,” you interject quickly, attempting to quell the coming squabble before it broke out, “Apparently the ladies of court have nothing better to do than monitor my condition.” You put an arm around Aegon as you speak, as if keeping him close to you would keep the two men from bickering.
“You are my wife,” Aemond huffs out a sardonic laugh, a smirk playing at his lips as he wrings out the cloth and leaves it to dry on the side of the wash basin, “Why would it be of his concern if –”
Aegon growls against your breast again, letting your nipple fall from his pink lips as he fixes his brother with a glare, one that falters for half a second as you protectively tighten your hold on him. His dark eyes continue to glare at Aemond, following his every move as he comes to stand at the side of the bed, arms crossed over his chest as he studies the two of you.
“Hush, my love,” you pet at his head and shoulders in an attempt to soothe him once more, glaring at your husband in warning, “This is nothing we need worry ourselves with tonight.”
Aemond comes to sit next to you on the bed, giving Aegon a quick glare before he leans down and places a tender kiss to the top of your head. “You’re right,” he says into your hair, one hand coming up to cup the side of your face, “We need not trouble ourselves with it tonight.”
Aegon huffs against your chest once more and gives his brother a final warning glance before looking up at you with a questioning gaze, pouty lips parted in an unspoken question.
“You need some more time with mommy?” You ask him softly, grinning when he shyly nods, still so skittish of his needs around his brother. You coo and give him a nod, unable to stop the sigh that leaves you at the feel of his mouth on you once more. His tongue delicately licks at your hardened nipple before he sucks it into his mouth, still teasing it as he suckles.
You admire him for a moment, studying the way his long lashes fan out over his cheeks once his eyes slip closed, his arms wrapped protectively around your middle as he kneels at your side.
Finally, you turn your head to Aemond, surprised to see his eye trained on his brother, watching as he nurses at your breast. “Husband?” You ask tentatively; your relationship with both brothers was not a secret, at least not between the three of you, but even still, you rarely had them at the same time.
His eye finally meets yours and he smiles, cuddling you closer, which earns a small whine from Aegon as he’s forced to move a fraction of an inch with you. “You needn’t worry so much,” he keeps his voice soft as he speaks, trailing kisses down your temple and cheek, “I’m merely thinking.”
“About?”
“Putting a babe in you,” he all but growls into your ear before kissing the delicate skin just below it. “Seeing you grow with my child,” he continues, one hand skimming up your arm before he cups your unoccupied breast, long fingers kneading it gently before they pinch at your nipple, “Watching as these swell with your sweet milk.”
A shiver rolls through you at the thought, and at the salacious groan that vibrates from Aegon’s mouth. Your husband smirks at your reaction, watching proudly as your eyes become cloudy and unfocused.
“Do you like that?” Aemond asks against the column of your throat as his lips and teeth and tongue work against your skin, sucking marks into the flesh, “Like the thought of my seed filling you up, finally taking root?”
You hardly register Aegon’s whine, eyes squeezed shut as you feel your husband pressing himself to you, lips pressing against any bit of your skin he can reach, chuckling softly at how easy it is to work his brother up. “Wouldn’t that be something, brother?” Aemond questions sarcastically, his eye glimmering mischievously, “Wouldn’t she be so beautiful with my babe in her?”
The older brother grumbles something against you before redoubling his efforts, making you gasp as he begins suckling at you harshly, nose twitching in annoyance. You calm him as best you can, a shaky hand coming up and carding delicately through his hair – Aemond’s ministrations making it hard to concentrate.
“You’ll be such a good mother, sweetling,” Aemond says lowly, kissing his way down your stomach as he moves to kneel between your thighs, “So perfect and sweet and caring.” He continues, punctuating each word with a kiss against your abdomen, his long hair tickling the skin of your thighs.
“Aemond,” you pant softly, back arching as Aegon’s teeth just barely graze against your sensitive nipple, “Please!” You beg, though whether it’s to get him to stop taunting his brother or carry on with you, you cannot say.
“Shh,” he presses wet kisses against one of your thighs, lips trailing slowly up to where you want him most before he tilts his head and begins kissing up the other thigh as well, his pace torturously slow, “I always give you what you want, do I not?”
A loud, uncontained moan tears itself from your throat as Aemond presses a kiss against your folds, groaning into your heat as he tastes you. “Gods, you’re dripping,” he growls into your cunt, practically making out with your center as his hands come to rest on the tops of your thighs, holding you in place, “Did your babe not care for you at all?”
At this, Aegon pauses, whining against your breast as he lifts his head, thin tendrils of drool connecting his shining lips to your hardened nipple. The feeling of his mouth lifting off of you has you finally opening your eyes, only to be met with his wide, uncertain eyes.
“Mommy?” His voice is so small, so terribly worried at the thought that he may have disappointed you somehow.
“Oh, sweet prince,” you whisper, voice catching in your throat as you gasp at the feel of Aemond sucking your aching pearl into his mouth, worrying the sensitive skin between his lips. Your brows furrow with concentration as your eyes meet Aegon’s, your hands gently cupping his cheeks, “Don’t worry yourself,” you have to pause again as a curse slips past your lips, “You’re my perfect little baby, you could never disappoint me.”
You finally manage to pant out your reassurances, eyes nearly rolling to the back of your head at the feel of Aemond’s hot tongue licking into your center, his nose pressed firmly against your bud as he fucks you on the long muscle, groaning into your slick folds as he savors your sweet taste. You stare desperately into Aegon’s dark eyes, back arching as your husband feasts on your cunt with practiced ease, the slick, squelching sounds of him licking into you and suckling at your pearl making you mewl and blush.
“You’re so beautiful, mommy,” Aegon murmurs softly, violet eyes staring at you with rapture, as if he’s trying to absorb the pleasure radiating from you, “So pretty.” He breathes finally and leans down to press a soft kiss against your lips, whimpering when he feels your tongue press into his mouth.
The men hold you like that for a moment, letting you lie back on the bed as they attend to you – Aemond murmuring dirty praises into your cunt as he licks at you wildly, flicking shapes and patterns against your pearl that have your head spinning; Aegon swallowing your wanton moans in his own mouth as he moves his lips against yours.
You whine against the older brother’s mouth when you feel your husband’s fingers gently prodding your center, gathering wetness on them before carefully pushing two into your heat. “Seven, you’re tight,” his breath is warm against your glossy folds, “Always so tight, feels so good, sweetling.” He purrs before quickly wrapping his lips around your bud once more, gently sucking at the tender flesh but combined with the pressure of his fingers, it’s enough to send you into a tailspin.
You pull away from Aegon with a gasp, back arching off the bed as you whine Aemond’s name, blushing as you hear the loud wet sounds emanating from where his fingers fuck into your cunt. Faintly, you hear Aegon whimpering next to you, his soft cries almost in time with yours as he presses soft kisses along your neck and shoulder.
“Mommy, my mommy,” he whispers in reverence, leaning across your chest to get to the breast he’s neglected thus far, kissing softly across your supple skin and teasing your nipple with the tip of his tongue before finally suckling it into his mouth, closing his eyes with a soft groan as he nurses, getting lost in the feel of you beneath him, your skin on his.
Aegon’s lips around your nipple has you breaking, every muscle in your body seeming to tense up as your high overtakes you. A strange mixture of their names leaves your lips in a rough moan as you squeeze your eyes shut, fire exploding through you.
“That’s it,” Aemond groans, crooking up his fingers within you as he feels your walls pulsing around them, pressing them into that rough patch he has memorized in your heat, the one he knows prolongs your peak, “Gods, that felt like a big one, sweetling.”
Somehow, you find it within yourself to nod tiredly, chest heaving as you catch your breath, slinging an arm over Aegon’s back as he sighs happily against your chest.
“Made you feel good, mommy,” he chuckles proudly around your breast, nipping and licking at your nipple as he tilts his head to meet your gaze, earning an annoyed huff from Aemond as he presses calming kisses against your thighs and hips.
He’s so proud of himself that you can’t help yourself from smiling and giggling, your fingers carding through his hair. “Oh, yes you did,” you coo, “You made me feel so good, my precious boy.”
Below you, Aemond bites at your thigh as a warning, making you jump. “Keep it up and you’ll only give him a bigger ego,” he rolls his eyes and presses wet kisses in a trail up your stomach, stopping only when he reaches Aegon, still lying across you. The bed dips as Aemond crawls back up to lie next to you, kissing his way up your neck and jaw before finally slotting his lips against your own.
A whimper escapes your lips as he does, one of your hands reaching up to run your fingers through his long hair, the pale strands threading between your digits like silk. He sighs into the kiss, one of his hands coming up to gently cup your neck, not choking but merely staking a claim. The action makes you mewl and he uses it to his advantage, quickly sliding his tongue across your bottom lip before entwining it with your own as he licks into your mouth. You can feel your face heat up as you taste yourself on his lips, squirming in his hold as Aegon continues licking and suckling at your hardened nipple, sending shivers of pleasure up your spine and quickly reigniting the flames in your belly.
Aemond smirks as your moans change in pitch, the familiar high-pitched, whiny cadence causing him to let out a low, vibrating growl himself.
“Please, Aemond,” you whisper against his lips, whimpering as he trails his kisses down your jaw and neck.
Your husband groans softly against your shoulder, a shudder rolling through him at the breathy way you say his name, his favorite sound. “You need not beg me, sweetling,” he sighs, gently gripping your hips and nodding for you to roll onto your side, “I’ve got you.”
Aegon whines as Aemond moves you, struggling to keep his soft lips latched around your peaked nipple, which earns him another eye roll from your husband. Quickly, you settle onto your side, both arms immediately wrapping around Aegon to hold him close. His pale hair tickles your lips as you press a sweet kiss to the crown of his head, softly giggling as he desperately suckles your nipple back into his mouth; your sweet boy could be at your breast for hours and it still wouldn’t be enough for him.
The bed dips on either side of you as the two men bracket you between them, Aemond behind you and Aegon in front. Your husband presses kisses against the back of your shoulder as he slots himself against you, the warmth of his chest pressing against your back sends a shiver down your spine and makes your already stiff nipples harden to the point of aching.
“Iksā sīr gevie, ñuha ābrazȳrys,” Aemond whispers against your shoulder as he trails a hand over your curves, humming appreciatively as he palms the swell of your arse, “Avy jorrāelan sīr olvie.” (You are so beautiful, my wife, I love you so much.)
You whimper at his words, your heart twisting happily in your chest as you recall their meaning from the lessons he had given you during your courtship. “Avy jorrāelan tolī, ñuha valzȳrys,” you manage to moan brokenly, “So much, Aemond!” You breathe, foggy brain unable to keep up with translations any longer. (I love you too, my husband.)
A gasp leaves you as Aemond presses himself against you tightly as you realize that he had managed to tug off his trousers at some point, his length slotting beautifully between your thighs as he ruts against you.
“Gods!” Your slick folds part greedily as your husband rubs against your center, coating his cock in your juices, the tip rubbing deliciously against your pearl, “Oh, Aemond!”
“Shhh,” he breathes against your ear as one of his warm hands latches onto your thigh and pulls it up, giving him more room to guide his cock into your heat, “I’ve got you, sweetling, I have you.”
You nod, near delirious, practically sobbing as he finally guides himself into you, filling you perfectly. Your head lolls back, further into his embrace as he slowly presses into you, stretching you as he finally bottoms out, stones pressed firmly to your backside as a low, gravelly groan vibrates against your back.
“You feel so good,” you moan breathily, your fingers scrambling through Aegon’s hair as you press his mouth against you, earning a whimper from the prince as he takes your breast further into his mouth, suckling at it greedily, spit leaking from the corners of his lips.
“Feels perfect,” Aemond huffs, grunting as he begins moving his hips against yours, eye squeezing shut at the feel of your slick walls sucking him in as you quiver around his length, “You feel perfect, tight little cunt.” He mutters, more to himself than to you, hissing the words between clenched teeth.
You let yourself get lost for a moment, a light sheen of sweat blanketing your skin from the heat of the two men around you. You make no attempt to stop soft, satisfied moans from slipping out of your lips, breathing your pleasure against Aegon’s forehead as Aemond rocks into you, thrusting his hips in a well-practiced pattern as he fills you again and again. Your husband’s grip tightens on your thigh, making your eyes roll back deliciously as Aegon flicks his tongue against your nipple before greedily sucking it back into his mouth.
A few moments later, you’re brought out of your reverie by a slick feeling at the front of your thigh, small whimpers and whines from the man at your breast finally managing to trickle their way into your consciousness.
You finally open your eyes, letting out a soft moan as you take in the sight before you – Aegon suckling desperately at your sensitive breast, his dark eyes looking up at you pleadingly, already shimmering with unshed tears, as he ruts his hard length against your thigh, already leaking glossy trails onto your skin with every movement.
“Ohh,” you coo softly, pressing a kiss to his sweat-damp forehead as you wrap your hand around his length, feeling it immediately twitch in your grasp, “You need mommy to take care of you?” You ask breathily.
“P-Please,” Aegon whimpers brokenly, flicking his tongue over your nipple as he nods his head, “Hurts!” He whines, voice thick as tears leak from the corners of his eyes.
You press another comforting kiss to his forehead, gasping in time with Aemond’s hard thrusts as you begin slowly teasing the prince’s hard length, cooing again as you feel him pulsing in your grasp. “What a good boy,” you whine, swirling your thumb against his leaking tip, “Getting so hard from hearing mommy get fucked, hm?”
You feel him shudder against you, a low groan sounding against your breast as his hips fuck up into your hold. He whines as you let go of his cock for a second, quickly running your fingers around where Aemond spears into you. Your husband grunts behind you at the sensation as you quickly gather some of your juices on your fingers, moaning brokenly as you flick them around your pearl for a second before returning your attention to Aegon.
Your face heats as you suddenly get a dirty idea and you take a second to spread some of your juices across your unoccupied breast, chuckling breathily as Aegon immediately abandons the one he’s currently suckling on, a loud moan snaking past his lips when you wrap your slick fingers around his cock once again, easing his thrusts into your fists.
“Greedy babe,” Aemond grunts from over your shoulder, watching as Aegon frantically licks around your breast, humming excitedly at your sweet taste before latching onto your nipple once more, “Suckling at any part of my sweet wife he can reach.”
A fire lights in your belly at Aemond’s words as you’re surprised he’s addressing Aegon at all, his teasing lilt only adding to the heat within you. The prince whines within your grasp, his face flushing to a deeper shade of pink than it already is and his violet eyes shoot daggers in his brother’s general direction, not caring that he can’t see them.
Suddenly, Aemond lets go of your thigh, leaving you to sling it over one of Aegon’s pale hips as he continues thrusting his cock into you, deep and slow. His hand instead settles on one breast and he lovingly palms at it, humming with satisfaction at its weighty feel in his hand.
A loud whine leaves you as his fingers pinch around your overly-sensitive bud, tweaking and tugging at the swollen skin. Your back arches, loud whimpers tumbling past your lips as his touch borders on pain. Aegon growls at your sounds of discomfort, letting your nipple fall from his lips as he sits up just enough to throw him a malicious glare over your shoulder.
“Ngh!” Your little prince grunts, smacking Aemond’s hand away from you before wrapping an arm around your waist protectively and pressing soft kisses to your abused breast, “Mommy?” He questions softly, teary eyes searching yours, desperately wanting to make sure you’re alright.
“Shh, shh,” you soothe sweetly, carding your fingers through his hair as he lays his head on your pillow once more, “Mommy’s okay, my sweet, thank you.” Your words are breathy, feeling halfway forced out of you as Aemond’s thrusts speed up, your mind growing fuzzy as the head of his cock moves against the sensitive spot within you perfectly, making you clench around him. Aegon continues thrusting into your grasp, his hands frantically grabbing onto any parts of you he can reach.
“Pathetic,” Aemond huffs at his brother, biting into the sensitive skin of your neck, “So whiny, fuck, so whiny under your muña’s touch you can’t even speak.” (Mother’s)
Aegon whines again, a high, pitiful sound against your beast as he latches onto you once more, low groans ripping through him as the leaking head of his cock rubs against your soft thigh.
“Hush,” you admonish, one arm hugging possessively around the prince, “Mommy’s taking good care of her sweet little boy, isn’t she?”
“Y-Yes,” Aegon breathes brokenly around a soft moan, his cock twitching desperately in your hand, “Yes, yes, yes!” He chants around your breast, soft little words in time with each stroke of your hand.
You can see him start to lose himself — watching as his eyes grow ever more glossy, tears welling up in the corners while throaty sobs and sighs warm your breast, his length seeming to get somehow thicker in your grasp as the head of his cock positively weeps against you.
“What a good boy,” you sigh encouragingly, smiling proudly, glowing with the knowledge that you can reduce him to such a state, “Are you close, my sweet?”
He nods desperately, soft grunts accompanying the thrusts of his hips up into your grasp. You keep your pace steady, your own head swimming as your release builds within you.
After another few seconds, Aegon begins shaking helplessly in your grasp, his chest heaving as sobs are wrenched from his throat. “That’s it,” you murmur softly, feeling your cunt clench around Aemond’s length at the sight of the prince coming undone before you, making the other man groan loudly behind you, “Come on, I know you’re so close, show mommy how good she makes you feel, my love.”
As always, your soft approval is what unravels him. You moan loudly, watching him fall apart in your arms, relishing the soft moans and sighs of your name as they fall from his pouty lips, the way his hips stutter in your hold. You gasp softly at the feel of his cock twitching between the two of you, his spend coating his belly and chest in pearlescent streaks.
Before he’s even had the chance to recover, your sweet boy finds it within himself to bring one hand down, greedily seeking out your bud. He sighs happily when you cry out his name, his fingers circling your aching pearl perfectly, just in the way you’d taught him, his chest still heaving with his own release.
“Oh, Gods!” You gasp, your own hips rutting back and forth between the two men, “So c-close, fuck!” You whine, the fire in your belly threatening to consume you.
“That’s a good girl,” Aemond grunts, hips thrusting into you at a maddening pace, “Do you want me to breed a baby into your wet little cunt, sweetling?”
You and Aegon whine at the same instant, yours in pleasure and his in annoyance. Your walls clench desperately at your husband's thick length, making him chuckle breathlessly behind you.
“Find your pleasure, sweet girl,” he groans, his thrusts somehow perfectly timed to the swirls of Aegon’s fingers against your bud, “Peak and I’ll put a little babe in your belly, my love.”
Aemond’s promise, Aegon’s soft whine, and the feel of their touches mingling on your slick heat finally pushes you over the edge once more. Your cunt pulses around Aemond as you slip over the edge, your pearl buzzing and twitching under Aegon’s fingers as flames of pleasure lick up your spine, sparks exploding behind your eyelids as you cry out against Aegon’s neck.
Your release claws Aemond’s out of him as well, the feeling of his seed emptying into you spurring your peak on further. You whimper, mouthing at the pale skin of your prince’s throat as you feel warmth bloom within you, your husband’s harsh strokes finally slowing to a stop.
Tumblr media
The three of you lay silent for a while, the only sounds in your chambers being soft pants and sighs. Finally, Aemond carefully pulls his length from you, soothing you gently when you whine.
“Seven,” he groans softly, watching his seed slip slowly from your spent center, “Perhaps this time we should let it take.” He muses as he gets up from the bed, retrieving a fresh cloth from your dressing table and quickly cleaning your center and thighs.
“But,” Aegon whimpers softly, drawing your attention back to him as he looks at you with wide, worried eyes, “What…what about me?” The meekness in his voice makes your heart ache as you hurriedly hush him, wiping tears from the corners of his eyes with your thumbs.
“You don’t worry about a thing, my little love,” you reassure him, pulling him into your arms and rocking him slowly against you, “No matter what the future holds, you will always be my precious little prince. I swear it.” You promise, pressing soft kisses to each of his cheeks, one of your hands tickling at his side until he squirms and giggles against you, burying his head in your neck with a tired sigh.
Aemond huffs again, setting his eyepatch on the table by your bed before he assumes his spot next to you once more, slinging an arm over your waist as he makes himself comfortable.
On your other side, Aegon shuffles down the bed once more, making you giggle softly as he presses feather light kisses to your breast, sighing happily at the mere feel of your supple skin against his lips as he cozies himself against you.
“Maybe we should hold off on the moon tea this time,” Aemond ponders, mumbling against your shoulder as his fingers trace soothing patterns into the soft skin of your hip, “Surely an actual babe could be no more difficult than the one we already seem to have.”
Aegon whines, Aemond chuckles, and you tiredly groan.
