Aeon was in the kitchen early one morning, his lilac eyes clouded with exhaustion.

He sipped some coffee. He had made it the way he had seen Mountain make it for Dew. He wasn’t sure if it liked it. It tasted burnt.

Though, since it was the same kind Dew liked, he had poured the lions share of the brew into another mug and set it by the coffeemaker with a little note for the fire ghoul.

Aeon sighed and set the mug down on the kitchen island, slouching in on himself as he slightly spun the barstool back and forth, lost in his thoughts as always.

He was starting to regret taking away Swiss’ exhaustion. He felt it weighing him down like a cloud that was just barely too gray above him. Of course, Aeon didn’t regret taking away Swiss’ exhaustion. He just wished it didn’t have to be so… well, exhausting, to hold onto someone else’s fatigue.

Aeon looked down into his coffee mug, sending a little bolt of quintessence into it, making the liquid ripple.

“Tommy?”

Aeon jolted in surprise and looked over his shoulder, seeing Aurora with some sort of string wrapped around her lower fang, wedged between the enlarged tooth and her lateral incisor.

“Hey… what’re you doing up so early?” Aeon asked, his voice soft as he held his hand out to Aurora. Aurora shuffled closer and took Aeon’s hand in hers, standing between his knees as he remained sat on the barstool.

“I was flossing, I think it’s called, and the string got wrapped around my fang. Lus and Cir are sleeping.. Can you help?” She asked, a bit awkward due to how little she had spoken to the ghoul who was summoned at the same time as her.

Aeon’s eyes saddened as he realized he was a last resort, even to his fellow summon buddy.

“Yeah..” he sighed with a nod, not even bothering to make some sort of halfhearted joke to lighten the mood.

He wasn’t even wanted by the ghoulette who he shared the most important day of his eternal life with.

Aeon gingerly grabbed the floss string and began unwrapping Aurora’s enlarged canine. His eyes were dull, the multi-ghoulette not being able to read anything off of Phantom.

“There.. better?” Aeon asked, sounding just as dull as he looked as he tossed the string of floss into the trash can. “Yeah. Thanks. Uh… yeah, bye.” Aurora mumbled before turning on her heel and walking out of the kitchen.

Aeon followed her with his eyes before turning back to the kitchen island. He stared at the marble for a moment before he dropped his head down, sighing shakily as tears welled in his eyes from both the pain in his heart and the pain from his horns slamming against the marble.

His shoulders shook as silent sobs left him, his posture becoming even more curled in as his heart started to crack under the pressure, threatening to shatter into a million of cracked pieces.

Hours later, Dew walked into the kitchen, finding Aeon dead asleep at the island, his back curved in an uncomfortable looking way.

Rain walked in behind Dewdrop, his eyebrows furrowing when he saw Aeon.

“Is he okay?” Rain asked softly, looking at Dew. The fire ghoul stared at Aeon for a moment before he shrugged, walking over to the coffee pot and brushing off the mug that was already there. Just Aeon leaving a mess.

“Seems fine to me.” He stated, ignoring the voice in the back of his head that was practically screaming that something was wrong.

“Oh, don’t lie to yourself,” Rain huffed, rolling his eyes as he leaned against the counter. “Something’s been wrong since he was summoned. Why hasn’t he come to us..?” Rain frowned, looking at Aeon with sad eyes.

“Maybe he just doesn’t want to,” Dew shrugged, his ear flicking as his coffee began to brew. “It would be easier on all of us if he kept himself out of everything.” He grumbled, looking at Rain, only to see the water ghoul staring at the little quint.

“C’mon, Rain, he’s grown. He’d say something if something is really wrong.” Dew rolled his eyes, his tail flicking. “I really don’t see why you’ve suddenly gotten all worried.”

“He’s struggling, Dew.” Rain stated. “It’s so obvious. Did you hear what Swiss was telling Mount the other day? How desperate he was to do what Aeth’ used to-“

“Stop.”

Rain’s eyes widened and he looked at Dew, surprised by the sudden anger in his voice.

“He’s not Aether. He never will be.” Dew spat, glaring at Rain. “I know.” Rain nodded, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. “I never said-“

“Well everyone seems to think that he can live up to was Aether was! Why am I the only one that sees that he’s nothing?” Dew snarled, Rain’s eyes widening before they narrowed.

“Dew, stop.”

“No, Rain! He won’t ever be what you all think he is!”

“Dew.”

“He’s just some replacement. Something to take up space until we can get someone good enough to be the pack Quintessence.”

“Dewdrop!”

“He’s a runt. It’s all he ever will be.”

The fire ghoul growled, turning to look at Rain, only to see a bleary eyed Aeon looking back at him, Rain standing off to the side with wide eyes.

A single tear rolled down Aeon’s face, his breathing shaky as all signs of hope or happiness quickly dissolved into despair.

Aeon snuffled and took a deep breath in before he nodded his head to the white mug that was by the coffee pot that had just started to pour Dew’s coffee.

“I made you some already.” Aeon said blandly, his voice shaky and so quiet Dew barely even heard him.

And then he was gone, leaving Dew caught off guard with a very angry Rain.

I’m enjoying the thought of Argenti, who likes everyone to at least some extent, not liking some random Masked Fool who bullies him lol.

I don’t actually have a lot of lore for her haha so we’ll figure it out as we go😂😂

But yeah! A little introduction to Cinnamon:

A Masked Fool who worked her hardest to get an invitation to the Tavern after running away from home. Her life was never marred by tragedy, but the crushing weight of boredom was enough to drive her to find some sort of true purpose for herself.

She found that in Aha the Elation, who she truly believes granted her a new life as a Masked Fool. Dawning a rabbit mask, she gives the appearance of someone delicate and shy, but she is extremely extroverted and enjoys making friends and enemies.

Rather unpredictable, but an emotional and sensitive woman deep down, who can be very loyal to those she cares about.

A bit fanatical towards her aeon.

I can't say how long it's been this bad with A/eons bullying and harassing people who ship anything but A/eon [I've been in and out of the fandom over the past few years, but after RE4R, I got hyperfixated on RE so I've engaged more with the fandom lately than I ever have in the past], but coming from fandoms outside of RE (where what ship is endgame doesn't matter), I feel like at least a good 95% of the bully A/eon shippers came from those outside fandoms too where canon endgame ships seem to have more bearing on that media's quality than what the relationships in RE have. For example, Stranger Things is about one of the WORST fucking places for ship wars I've ever seen because the narrative of that show puts a lot more importance on character relationships and whether or not they'll work out than Resident Evil does. People in that fandom are used to fighting for their lives in ship wars over what ship should be the canon endgame for each character because they stress the importance of relationships and community between characters in that show so much. So I feel like it's possible that some of the newer A/eon shippers could've come from fandoms like that where they think they have to fight for their life for the endgame ship, because that vibe just feels so similar between fandoms. A/eon and Cl/eon are the new Twilight love triangle it seems. But regardless, it's no excuse for them at all to bully fans who don't ship A/eon (I've seen them bully some Cl/eons off of Twitter before even and now finding any content for that ship is so scarce over there these days). And I feel like with Death Island coming up, another piece of RE media like Infinite Darkness where Leon and Claire are present in the same location together and Ada is no where in sight and hasn't been since RE6 [aside from the remakes], it feels like they're losing some false hope for A/eon being an endgame ship when Capcom isn't about the romances in RE for the most part in the first place.

This has been going on since 1998 and I'm not joking.

And you know what other huge video game fandom was in vogue in 1998? Final Fantasy VII, which has the nastiest ship war in all of video game fandom history that still goes on to this day. Old Guard Aeon fandom was forged in the fires of ship wars, and they are stuck in their ways and will never, ever change.

You might think it's bad now, but you have absolutely no idea how bad Aeon vs Cleon actually was back in the day. You literally could not engage with the fandom as a Leon fan at all without taking a side. Those were your only two options. And, for someone like me, who didn't really fucking care about either of them, it was so, so exhausting.

There was no Leshley. There was no Chreon. There was no Serrennedy. Those were not options that were available to you. In fact, Resident Evil fandom (and survival horror fandom in general lbr) was actually very homophobic for a very long time until RE5 turned Chris Redfield into a gay icon with two of his alternate costumes (1, 2), and all of the gays finally started flooding in and saving this fandom from itself.

So, pre-RE5, you were either Team Aeon or you were Team Cleon and you kept your fucking mouth shut if you liked anything else, because you would get booted the fuck out of communities on LiveJournal if you mentioned it -- and, back then? That's all there was. You didn't have tumblr AND twitter AND tiktok AND whatever the fuck else. Fandom lived on LiveJournal. Period.

And don't misunderstand me. Back in the day, Cleon fandom was just as batshit crazy as Aeon fandom is today. I feel like Cleon fandom has mostly chilled the fuck out these days because the vast majority of them have accepted by this point that they lost the war, but back in the mid aughts? Oh, dear god, they were insufferable and just as cult-like.

Degeneration poured so much gasoline on the fire that RE4 started, especially when the director of that movie, when asked why Ada wasn't in it, responded with "She cannot be in everything."

And then Darkside Chronicles happened and made it SO MUCH WORSE because Aeon fans were pissed off that Claire was Leon's co-op partner for the RE2 campaign, and then Cleon fans were pissed off because the Leon/Ada kiss happened, and I just.

Seriously thank god for every single person who started playing these games solely because they wanted to take Chris to pound town. They are the real, true heroes of this fandom, and I am so, so, so, so grateful for them.

And, idk, maybe that's a huge part of the reason why Aeon fandom is still feeling so insecure -- because there was a fairly significant amount of time when it was possible that Capcom was going to tip the scales in favor of Cleon. Damnation and RE6 finally squashed that notion, and the ending of Infinite Darkness coup-de-grace'd it, but it was a real thing for many years.

And now with Leon/Ashley now also being a canon ship of sorts... all that shit is probably bubbling right back up to the surface. Because now, Aeon isn't The Only Canon Ship in Resident Evil anymore. Hell, Aeon isn't even the only canon ship for Leon anymore.

And after taking eighteen years of abuse and shaming and knowing just how nasty RE fandom can get, Leon/Ashley fandom better stay the fuck humble. I swear to god. Y'all motherfuckers just keep your fucking heads down and nod politely and say "Thank you, Mr. Capcom, for this wonderful gift." because no one in a million fucking years would have ever thought that we'd be the ones to become Leon's secondary canon ship.

And this next part isn't directed at you specifically, anon, but at all of my followers and especially the ones who've been contributing to the discussion tonight:

DO NOT fight with Aeon fandom, because I DO NOT want to see us become them -- or even become the second coming of Old Guard Cleon Fandom. Block them and let it go. I mean it.

The Traumatic Past of The Solace Brothers

Tw: Child Neglect, abuse, bullying, happy life turn into a nightmare, murder of their mother, attempted murder, run away from home.

AN: This is Lysander's POV

"I thought we had a perfect life. However I was wrong."

Isidore and I came from a big family of 10, three brothers, three sisters, mother, father..and me and Isidore. I was one of the oldest siblings and yet only Isidore and 4 others trusted me while the others..they just brushed me off as the child with no emotions. My mother is nice while my father is a man who had time for the others but not me and Isidore. It does hurt when time goes by, it does not hurt anymore. I still have my siblings but I never let Isidore out of my life..I can not. And I never knew why. I had a deeper bond with Isidore than anyone in my family. My mother..she was kind, gentle and charming. She made a lot of friends and nobody hated her. My father..he is ruthless, stern and strict. He has very few close friends and he gets jealous very easily. Day by Day, I noticed that my mother and father argue constantly in the living room. My father accused my mother of cheating again. This is never new to any of us since my mother is very loyal to him and him alone. 

But..I noticed that Isidore and I were abused by my father and most of our siblings for defending our mother. The abuse is not bad at first then slowly it gets worse until one of us nearly dies by the abuse. I was disappointed and I rebelled against my father’s wishes to be just like him. And I got into arguments with my father way more than any of my siblings. One night, my father attacked me but lucky Isidore screamed before he murdered me. I still have those stitches to this day. My mother takes the abuse from her husband and children for us..she never wanted us to be hurt like she did. Isidore and I cried to her whenever we saw her bleeding but she comforted us saying that we are her children..none of our siblings is worth her time and effort. It seems they are dead to her but she still stayed for me and Isidore.

The arguments got worse..there are sounds of our father throwing things and yelling at my mother along with my siblings. I grew to despise my father and siblings as Isidore grew more violent with his words and attacks. Life at home was normal here..until..THEY killed her..my mother with blunt force trauma. I was numb..Isidore was numb. Everyone was numb. We all started to notice the atmosphere in the house turning..dull and still. One of my older sisters rushed towards our parents’ room and came back reading my mother’s diary out loud, revealing that our mother is loyal this whole time..and she has a life of being a nanny, a baby sister and a waitress. We all just stood there while we all processed the information. My father and my siblings look at us..then worsen the abuse. I..had enough..WE had enough..we want them gone. GONE from our lives. We grabbed the money from the safe in the basement when everyone was asleep and ran away together. We both used our skills in our abusive household to be where we are right now. My name is Lysander Solace, the head leader of a secret organization. The older brother of Isidore Solace. The follower of Jasper, The Aeon of Dreams. Let me ask you something: Would you tell anyone about the past of Isidore and I? 

Little notes of Lysander and Isidore: Lysander was forced to play the piano by their father nonstop until he had to go to the hospital. Isidore has a bloodthirty side after they both witness the mother was killed in front of them. A trigger that unfortunately happen.

AN: I chose the song Phantom Pain because it reminds me of how the Solace brother's mother protected them until her demise. This song is damn sad and I cried 6 times because of this.

okay so in light of current events, i want to clarify things

i’m not trying to be like a “comfort” aeon account in the way that i will sometimes post things that do not pertain to aeon. i will rant about my life lol and sometimes just complain about things that aren’t even close to aeon. but i will mostly try to keep my blog to aeon when i can.

but i also choose to ignore/block any hateful or frankly, vitriolic comments/reblogs/interactions against aeon. 

that being said, i don’t think that it’s okay to “bully” people off the internet. 

but in addition to that, i do not think it’s okay to be the aggressor and then cry victim.

i’ve always maintained the idea that this blog was meant to be a place for aeon shippers to talk and gush about the ship. however i have sometimes talked about things other than aeon. i’ve claimed to mostly be a safe space, and i’ve mostly maintained that. (anything potentially triggering has been placed under a spoiler warning)

i think it’s difficult to navigate the internet knowing that a lot of people are not your age, gender, sexuality, or from your location. we’re all different people with different experiences. and particularly with the surge of re4r and new content with resident evil. we have a LARGE, YOUNG, FANBASE. a fanbase that does not know about “ship wars” that do not know all of the +20 years of RE lore. that don’t know about aeon’s +20 lore.

some people will be overly aggressive about things they care about. that’s just how people are. being emotional about things and it’s understandable. and we can’t always keep people in check that we do not know. 

it’s rich to be in a place stable enough to act in a manner to “avoid” “fights and drama.” not everyone can avoid that. some people don’t know how to mute/block things that trigger them. there’s nothing wrong if you engaged in ship wars when you were 17. most people have. and most people are still 17 and engaging in ship wars. history repeats itself

i think it’s fine if you have catered your space to be as safe as possible. 

i too have done so. 

i have most of the tags that i don’t care for filtered out and blocked. everything i see on tumblr/twitter etc. is exactly what i want to see.

i highly encourage people to cater platforms to your liking. do not actively go out to blogs that oppose your views to screenshot things and then make fun of them, or demonize them to fit your narrative of being the victim.

have this be a learning experience.

and going forward, i will still be posting/reblogging as much aeon as i can

and i hope to interact with the fandom that cares about aeon. that’s all i wanted from this blog. and if you still enjoy the ship then i hope you enjoy the ride!

I gotta say I love that RE gets new fans with the remakes, but with some of these newer RE fans have also brought in the concept of “stans”, which I am now completely categorizing in a different group from fans. I am a huge Ada fan, but these Ada stans on Twitter are making it hard to enjoy Resident Evil content on there.

In Stan world if I want say I don’t like Ada’s new voice, or prefer OGRE4 Ada over the remake, or don’t love her new outfit then apparently “I have no right to call myself a fan” if I vocalized these opinions. I am Asian American myself and I did not enjoy Lily Gao’s performance as Ada. In my opinion, she had a few passable lines, flat and awkward delivery majority of the time, no chemistry with Leon, and most importantly NO charisma. Doesn’t matter how much much time Ada had in any form of RE media, she has always had presence and impact. In RE4’s main game, Ada didn’t have that many scenes either (although technically more than the remake), but even to people who didn’t bother to play Separate Ways, she always left an impression.

When the first RE4R trailer of her speaking dropped A LOT of people didn’t like her voice acting from the beginning. Then Ada stans would say “you can’t judge based on one line, wait until the game comes out” (as if that would somehow make her delivery better?), then the game comes out and a lot of people still didn’t like her performance, now it’s “she barely had any screen time, wait for Separate Ways”, moving the goal post again. Or it’s “she’s suppose to sound flat because she’s now a serious mercenary” Like was Ada not already cold and serious in RE2R?? I don’t remember her “sounding flirty” in that game at all, that was literally one of the reason people didn’t like RE2R’s Ada, for not being as nice as she was in OG2. Now there’s this belief that most people only didn’t like it because of some RE influencer and blamed her to take accountability for the harassment and bullying Lily Gao got, then the next day the Ada Stans go on to harass, bully, and passive aggressively hate on accounts that ship Cleon to the point they end up closing their account. I super ship Aeon too but jeeze. It’s just so hard to take seriously, but I guess that’s the current state of fandom culture now: “can’t take the toxic behavior of me defending my fave, then gtfo”.

Lily Gao 100% did not deserve to be harassed, I put all blame on Capcom. If they wanted to cast a new Asian VA for Ada they should have put in more effort to finding THE BEST fit person for the job, not the most convenient. I wish there was more noise on Patricia Ja Lee being Jill Valentine’s previous VA and mocap, because there’s a VA who did a great job, maybe they should have just gotten her to be Ada, but doubt Capcom considered any Union VA. Capcom in general after the VA Union strike have been cheap, and Capcom USA especially have been lazy. They have no respect for VAs, you expect me to believe they didn’t cast Lily Gao for convenience sake after not even bothering to bring back David Vaughn for RE8’s Chris Redfield and reused Jeff Schine instead?

Look, you can like Ada’s new voice, but to not understand why others genuinely don’t like it makes no sense to me.

Capcom nerfed Ada so hard in this remake but every Ada stan can make so many justifications for Capcoms shit decisions, writing for her, and having one of the weakest VA performances despite being a main character and one of the most iconic female characters in video games? The only time “Ada Nation” can band together for anything is when Ada is left out of stuff so long as she girl-bosses and serves cunt right? Who cares she has less screen time, who cares there was no Assignment Ada and she’s not in Mercenaries at Launch even though all that was included in the Game Cube release, who cares they gave Luis Ada’s moment of saving Leon from Krauser, who cares she was left out of all the promotion of RE4R, who cares that she keeps telling Leon to leave Ashley for whatever reason when she never interferes with how Leon does his job in the OG. Leon literally throwing real knife stabs that could actually kill her, he hasn’t seen her in 6 years, he has no idea if she could block them or not, but I guess all that is suppose to be visually appealing than him being able to disarm her. Oh Ada can’t black flip kick the gun out of Leon’s hand bc it’s not realistic but Leon can jump around like he’s Cloud Strife in the saddler boss battle? And Ada offered a ride to Leon at the end and not Ashley, I don’t know how Ada stans can see where it implies that Ada offered a ride to both of them? And why do we have to read in between the lines when they could have had her ask if they were both coming in the script? They had no problem putting that badly written scene of exposition with Wesker at the end to show players how much of a “good and reformed” person she is. I wouldn’t give Capcom that much credit. Why does them improving Separate Ways, which should already be expected of a remake, justify cutting/downgrading everything else?

You can say you like her new outfit more than her OG, but then to go and say it’s more practical now, when really it’s still unpractical as hell too. Say you like RE4R Ada but then to say she’s less sexualized than OG4? Lily Gao implying she characterized Ada to be less sexualized, when her Ada basically offers Leon sex if he drops his mission and leaves Ashley. Past Adas has never propositioned anything like that before EVER. Like ok RE4R Ada doesn’t wear a cocktail dress now, but instead now has hella ass shots for days, they made her boobs larger, and gave her character model boob physics, all of which wasn’t in OG4.

Had to get this off my chest, if you made it this far congrats lol. This is just all my opinion, you don’t have to agree with me, I’m sure a lot of you don’t.

TBH, although I feel this is shameful, I think that there is a really "low" wall between death and life in my mind. No reason, but when I get bored or tired, I have an idea like "everything is over" and "I want to die soon". Of course, it's just a silly and instant idea (I know how I am rugged because I have been treated like this myself for 48 years). But when I was a heavy drinker, this wall was lower than now and I even thought that "the time was wrong for me", "I want to die with alcohol", and "If I could bear in another time again, then I would like to be happier". These ideas make me feel embarrassed again.

Still heavy snow affected us. Yesterday we had the "danshu" meeting on LINE as a "remote" meeting, and a new member also came so we could enjoy it. In this "danshu" meeting, I talked about my personal life and the memories of when I was a heavy drinker. Although I feel the same idea when I write this diary, to write and confess can make our "unseen" things or "unknown" opinions which were in our minds clearer.  Learning that kind of "unknown" ourselves would become a great curing for us. So we have to be open to that "unknown" ourselves and accept it however it would be. Wait for that steadily, and be open. Don't worry. I have to live just for today. I never drink alcohol just for today.

This afternoon, a friend of mine who is connected with me through the meeting about autism shared a pic. The pic of the bud of Sakura. I guess that it was taken at AEON I often go to, but I have never seen that bud so got impressed. Although it is a big cold wave that would come once in a decade, Sakura is waiting for the coming spring with that bud. The everlasting scenery of nature and its slow movements of it made me think that our human being's fast movements are in contrast. How will I spend my time when Sakura will bloom? I would enjoy Sakura watching instead of reading books. Under a Sakura tree, turning my smartphone into manner mode, I would spend the time doing nothing... but I'm a bookworm so would bring Nietzsche or Wittgenstein there.

Afternoon break I spent time with Motoharu Sano's "Rock'n'roll Night". I remembered I had adored the youthful days this song describes. When I was a teenager, I expected how my life would be when I become an adult. At least, I had a certain hope because I would be able to escape from being bullied or misunderstood... and I found that my 20s and 30s were more terrible because of alcohol addiction. At that period, I never imagined that I would quit alcohol and start writing my diary. How could it be possible? I guess that I would start another event when I become my 50s. Maybe I would start agriculture... Ah, I remembered that I had wanted to live until my 40s. So the fact that I am still alive is really precious. I would live until my 100s as an anarchy old dude.

Junpei Iori as The Fool

Upon moving to Iwatodai after losing his father to an illness, Junpei is taking this transfer as a chance to find what his true calling in life. He knows that in him is a fighter, a hero; but due to his own insecurities, he doesn't explore his true potential. On the night Junpei awakened to his Persona, his sense of self had been reawakened. With his new found power, he befriends his peers in hopes that through these forming bonds, he might just be able to find himself.

Minato Arisato as The Magician

Unknowingly, he exudes an aura of calm optimism making Minato a down to Earth guy. He's part of the music club, where he plays guitar and piano. Being the older twin, he has a tendency to overthink and worry about his sister, despite the calm aura he gives off. This is because they lost their parents as children so they often rely on each other. However, he feels as though he relies on his sister more than she does because he sees her to be more mature than him. But that couldn't be more false, because she appreciates the fact that he cares about her.

Minako Arisato as The Priestess

Unlike her twin, Minako exudes a more introverted aura; she's soft spoken and often keeps to herself. She's always seen with a book, as she likes to read a lot. She reads all types of books, from classic novels to artsy poetry; so she's very knowledgeable about various topics. Just like Minato, she thinks that she relies more on her twin. She's thinks that because of her personality, and the fact they're orphans, he tends to protect her; making her feel like she's helpless and unable to help Minato. She's worried that he might stress himself out worrying about her, but again, that isn't true. Her brother is like this because they're each other's only family left.

Akihiko Sanada as The Emperor

Stern, mature and responsible are words that can describe Akihiko. Being the Student Council President, he sets out to be an example of excellence in Gekkoukan High. Despite being young, he has taken it upon himself to be a father figure for his younger sister Miki. He's been friends with Shinjiro for a long time and he's been aqquainted with Mitsuru since they were first years.

Ken Amada as The Lovers

Known to be a star player in soccer, Ken is approachable and popular in school. Though he can be sassy and sarcastic sometimes, he means well most of the time. He shares a strange friendship with Fuuka; they compete over everything, but still hang out all the time. Despite being surrounded by a lot of people, he feels lonely at times because his mother died when he was very young.

Fuuka Yamagishi as The Chariot

A member of the Girls' Volleyball team, Fuuka is spunky and is often challenging herself, whether it was related to volleyball or if it's a bet against Ken. She often stands up for those often get picked on as she used to be bullied herself. Fuuka believes that she has the guts to do anything so she wants to try everything at least once. 

Aigis as Strength

Previously owned by an optimistic young woman, Aigis is a Samoyed who wears a big red bow around her neck. She's seen to walk herself to the abandoned laboratory, seemingly waiting for her owner to be done with work. However, her owner tragically died in an accident in the lab.

Yukari Takeba as Justice

A student in Gekkoukan Elementary, Yukari is seen to be mature for her age. She's capable in household chores, this is because she lived with only her father before he died two years prior. Ken often sympathizes with her because he lost his mother at the same age she lost her father. Though she may not look like it, she enjoys Featherman R. She keeps it a secret though, because she think that it's only a boy's show and it's somewhat silly for her to still be watching those types of shows at her age.

Shinjiro Aragaki as The Star

President of the cooking club and popular among female students. Shinjiro is often seen as the big brother of the group, often offering to be a helping hand and always dotes on his peers. He always looks out for SEES and he's always ready to be confided in if they need him. He's been best friends with Akihiko since they were little, and he often nags him to relax and loosen up once in a while. He tends to check up on Mitsuru, because she has a tendency not to go home to the Kirijo Mansion and just stays wherever she wants.

Mitsuru Kirijo as The Moon

A closed off and aloof young lady, Mitsuru puts on this facade in order to hide her fear in becoming the next head of the Kirijo Group. After an unfortunate mission in which she caused the death of Yukari's father, she was at her breaking point and decided to quit SEES and avoid them completely. However, after learning that Yukari had awakened to a Persona of her own, Mitsuru decides to go back to fighting alongside the group.

Koromaru as Aeon

Originally developed to aid in healthcare, Koromaru was modified to be able to fight off shadows. For seemingly unknown reasons, he feels a sense of belonging to Junpei. After SEES encounters Koromaru in Yakushima, he joins SEES and enrolls in Gekkoukan High School.

Just kinda hopping onto what you've said about toxic fanbases. It's all so bizarre to me. If it were young teens and children infighting, that'd be fine cause ya know... they're kids, but in my experience it's always grown adults saying the most aggressive, toxic bs. I completely stopped participating in fanbases years ago because of my experience on Twitter. I was pretty young and said I headcanoned a tv show character as bisexual. This lead to me being totally dogpiled by middle aged women trying to argue with me and humiliate me, lol.

This behaviour (ESPECIALLY in relation to FICTIONAL PEOPLE) is not normal. It's totally fucking deluded and I don't know why it's so widespread and acceptable. It's absurd. So, I stay relatively far away from the fanbase of any new media that I enjoy. It sucks, I really like Ada but the ship is just so awkward and forced to me. It makes little sense for either of them. It's sad that as a grown adult, I can't happily share a harmless opinion about a god damned video game without the worry of being bullied by other adults!

another question I've been waiting for forever!

Per my own headcanons and a bit of canon, Bloom is obsessed with all things magical, so I feel she would become a magical girl for the sake of being a magical girl. However, I could also see her wish being to either find more people that share her interests or to make Mitzi stop bullying her. With the first wish, her powers would be similar to Mami's, making some sort of ribbons or threads to represent how she can now make connections with other people; with the second wish her powers would most likely be something like generating barriers, I can see her using them offensively as well, like sending the barrier to you as if being hit with a wall. In both cases, her magic motif would be hearts, with her Soul Gem also in the shape of one. Her weapon would be a cutlass, like Sayaka.

Stella's wish is easy, especially if we assume Kyubey got to them all at the right time - getting her parents back together. Her powers would revolve around unifying things, sort of like fusing objects, and would retain a sun and moon motif due to her parents, as a show of how she got them. Her weapons would be a pair of quarterstaffs, like Kuroe - one sun themed, one moon themed. Her Soul Gem would be eclipse-shaped.

Musa is also another easy wish - to heal her mother's illness. She would have strong healing powers, and they would probably manifest the same way as Sayaka's powers, given the recipient of the wish in both cases are music-aligned. Her weapon would be an axe, and her Soul Gem would be volume-icon-shaped.

Flora is hard, because in canon we really don't have anything to go by that would make her wish for something. So for this I'm gonna have to come up with something, and say that Flora would become a magical girl if someone she cares about is in danger, like her family or her friends of the time. She would have powers and a motif related to plants, and her weapon would be a chain or whip, to get her loved ones out of the way. Her Soul Gem would be leaf-shaped.

Tecna is also hard, but not by much - she would wish to change herself, so she could be more open to other people's emotions. She would become a far chipper and outgoing person, but her real self is still inside and her love for technology would still drive some people away even with her new personality. Her weapon would be a crossbow, her motif would be emojis, and her Soul Gem would be power-shaped, as in the icon for turning on a device.

Ending with Aisha as another easy question - she would wish for her parents to stop micromanaging her entire fucking life, to be free. Her powers would be wind-related, "free as the sky" and all that, her motif would be air currents and clouds, and her Soul Gem would be wing-shaped. Her weapon would be a pair of daggers.

NOW FOR THE ACTUALLY INTERESTING SHIT, AND BY THAT I MEAN

THE WITCH FORMS.

Raiponce, the Witch of Fairytales. Her nature is daydreaming. She lives in her own world of fantasy, surrounded by characters from epic tales and romance arcs. However, nothing in her own world really attracts her, so she spends her days dreaming of a life she can no longer have. Some say she can be heard sobbing and laughing at times, when her dream fades as all dreams do. Her familiars are Azurro, the knight and Carmilla, the princess. Their jobs is to bring the Witch back to reality and defend her from those that try to keep her dreaming.

Aurora, the Witch of Threads. Her nature is spiteful. She lives under the deepest of seas, threading red strings for one and all, drawing people to each other even when they hate each other, forcing them to comply with her idea of union as revenge for ignoring her. If her tears reach the thread she's working with, they dissolve and free those tied up in them. Her familiars are Marcel and Ivanna, whose role is to be tied by the witch into eternal bonds.

Guillermina, the Sylph Witch. Her nature is free-spirited. She flies around her endless sky without a care in the world, singing a song that no one but her people can hear. Those that refuse her offer to fly and perform alongside her are quickly tossed into the hurricane feeding the endless wind of her neverending realm. Her familiars are Sophia, who offer backup vocals for the Witch and assist her when her flying falters.

Lucinda, the Rotten Witch. Her nature is anger. Her forest has been decaying and wilting for aeons now, and all of her tries to revive it and failing have turned her to rage and fury, now determined to destroy the forest that refused her help, unaware that it's her own presence that feeds the decay. Her familiars are Alejandro, who assist her in destroying the forest with their sharp shears.

Marcille, the Witch of Summer. Her nature is moody. The sky of her world is a kaleidoscope, changing from bright sunny days to overcast gloom to torrential storms to relentless heat in the blink of an eye to fit her current emotion. She cares not for how this affects her subjects, and demands attention at all times - those that refuse or don't make it in time are quickly destroyed by the current weather. Her familiars are Diana, Gerald and Frederic, whose must always assist their Witch with anything she wants.

Emilianne, the Shadow Witch. Her nature is joyful. She lives her days in a dimly-lit place, enjoying the cover of the partial shadows and spending time with her friends, unaware that her friends don't seem to pay attention to her at all. Her familiars are Lucas and Julia, who play the role of her friends and protect her from realizing they don't care at all about her.

If hunter-gatherers can build large, sedentary societies, why do we assume that they lived in small bands for most of our species’ history? Surely our ancestors preferred lush spots over the dead-looking Kalahari. And, once in those spots, surely they had the same political savvy to engineer semi-fixed, stratified societies. Yet many leading anthropologists still imagine the 100,000 years preceding agriculture to resemble, with slight variations, the lives of the mid-20th-century !Kung. Why?

One reason is that stratified foragers are unusual. Look at recent hunter-gatherers, and what do you see? You see dispersed clusters of Inuit families in the Arctic. You see Hadza bands sharing honey in eastern Tanzania. You see the Sirionó traipsing through the Amazon and Mbuti camps assembling for a nighttime dance in the Congo. You see, in short, small, mobile, egalitarian bands.

But looking at modern hunter-gatherers is misleading. For one, the more we dig through history, the more we encounter foragers who were sedentary and hierarchical. They covered Japan before agriculture. They dotted the South China coast before agriculture. They inhabited the Levant, tracts of the Nile, the beaches of southern Scandinavia, the central plains of Russia, the coasts of the Atacama Desert, and the grasslands of the high-altitude Andes – all before agricultural peoples dominated those regions. Even today, sedentary foragers live in riverine and coastal regions of New Guinea.

Sedentary and hierarchical hunter-gatherers are not unusual. If anything, it’s the profusion of mobile, egalitarian bands that might be the historical outlier. Rather than reflecting ancient ways, these small-scale societies are often products of modern forces. Rather than being untouched, many have been bullied, pacified, employed, enslaved and marginalised by colonial powers and agricultural neighbours.

A popular example of uncanny valley would be Prototype Movie!Sonic the Hedgehog.

The entire internet bullied the everliving shit out of Paramount Pictures for it, demanding for the blue hedgehog be changed ASAP. Hell, even SEGA and Warner Bros. (they were responsible for the Detective Pikachu movie, btw) complained!

Not only her design bothers me, but also the fact that she's dehumanized and whitewashed when she transforms.

Like, her civilian design is cute and charming, and she's sweet and lovable, too! Why would you make her mask her skin away with a WHITE ARMOR and make her a NON-HUMAN BEING when she becomes a hero?! How are black girls supposed to be proud and comfortable in their own skin, if their hero is always hiding it all?

At least Black Panther/T'Challa was true to his style and appearance. BLACK Panther, BLACK skin... it matched so nicely, he was so stylish, and it relied on high-tech, too.

God, I miss that man so much... what a champ.
