if they’d kept this scene in knives out
no one would’ve said that benoit “i ordered snail jelly moisturizer and it gave my sensitive skin a rash so now i’m suspicious of this company” blanc
was straight-coded/“not obviously gay enough”
i think rian johnson should reveal the bblanc skincare routine immediately

I'm kinda glad Canon Adaine doesn't seem to have glasses, or at least doesn't absolutely need them. As a constant glasses wearer, I know full well that glasses are EXPENSIVE. I don't know what kind of optometry they have in dnd universe, but they're probably still expensive (even with insurance, but does Adaine even have medical insurance anymore?) And she is already struggling with money issues. And in our teenage years our eyes get progressively worse so we need updated prescriptions constantly.
However, this leads to a much sadder idea of glasses wearing Adaine not having the right prescription and everything being slightly blurry to her, but due to not wanting to be a bother / financial burden to anyone, she doesn't mention that she needs new glasses, because she can still function with her current pair, it's just a little more challenging.

My #1 advice for people moving out is to NOT buy nonstick cookware... not only is the lifespan of nonstick a MAXIMUM of 7 years (usually more like 2-5 years) but teflon, aka Polytetrafluoroethylene-- the plastic coating that makes the cookware nonstick, infuses microplastics into your food.
New cookware sets can cost hundreds of dollars so my advice is to look for 100% stainless steel cookware in thrift stores. Safer, cheaper, & instead of needing to replace every 2-7 years they can potentially last you the entire rest of your life AND they won't start shedding plastic into your food

i have a lot of weird memories from my first job out of college but one i come back to constantly is the time my boss took me out to dinner to celebrate something—my one year anniversary maybe? we were a SMALL ass company—and we ordered wine and she was this whole like fancy wine connoisseur or whatever (she THOUGHT) and the poor waitress brought out our wine in stemless glasses and my boss was SO APPALLED that she actually asked for a stemmed glass and the poor waitress has to be like, “ma’am we had an accident with our wine glasses earlier and all the stemless ones fell off the shelf onto me and broke” and my boss had to huffily drink her wine from a stemless glass and she asked me “isn’t this weird to you? doesn’t it make it taste poorly?” and i has to tell her, “im 23. i literally drink all my wine from solo cups.” and i’d never seen her so appalled in my life
