On the MSATD News

I didn't have time to post a knee-jerk reaction (which those of you from the Downton days know I was apt to do - thank you to all my long term mutuals of my side blog for sticking with me through those days), as I saw the news as I was getting ready to head out for work and it's been… a bit of a day.

Suffice it to say… I am devastated. And my initial reaction was (well after cursing), that it should have ended with S4, but with a different (happier) conclusion. It's called Miss Scarlet AND THE DUKE for a reason. And after all that happened in S4… it really feels like… what was it all for?? Especially if they knew WHEN FILMING THIS?? "Goodbye for now" is NOT "goodbye forever." They really, really really fumbled this.

There's a lot of theories going around, and I will admit it's too hard for me to listen to Stuart's new interview, but going off what other's have said and the parts of the transcript I did manage to read… I just cannot feel like this was actually his decision unless there's something else going on with him (either in his personal life or maybe he has some secret role he's got, because supposedly he hasn't worked since he did ADR on S4). He's been the captain of the ship, and he has always been enthusiastic with discussing the show and had just great insight into playing William. It doesn't feel like he himself was ready to move onto other things (and that's not even how it's worded - some BS about how the show needed it him to be gone for ~longevity~ of the show), like I've seen with other actors are on shows (e.g. Dan Stevens). He still promoted S3 (which came out in the UK after they filmed S4), he still even promoted S4! He was an executive producer for S4!!! Nothing makes sense!

So if it's due to RN… why keep having the other characters say William was only going to be gone a year? Why bother to have the flashback? why bother to have him stay at at Eliza's to recover?? hell I'm surprised they just didn't keep in the coma then--

But really, why even bother to have Eliza write to him? Or have Ivy say what she said to her?? The time apart was supposed to be them looking at their options. They literally foreshadowed him joining Eliza at her agency upon his return. So… what happened?

If it was actually for personal reasons that Stuart left, he has a right to his privacy. But then they should have rewritten S4 to be the end then, since they knew all this time. I can't believe we are getting the full story on this, one way or the other. The more and more I think about it... I do think it was RN's doing though.

Just two nights ago I drafted up a whole meta extolling how one of the best things this show has done has been how they developed William and how he grew as a character. The progression he made as he not only accepted Eliza having a career but encouraging her. His mentorship of Fitzroy. How he came from nothing, from a teenager living on the streets, to become an inspector at Scotland Yard. But they have chosen to toss that all out the window.

Who knows, maybe S5 ends with Eliza deciding to go to New York. But it doesn't seem like they are handling this like Babington's absence in Sanditon. They will make Eliza quickly fall for someone else, and slap fans in the face who have been following their friends to lovers slow burn for five years (because we had to wait for S2 in the first place thanks to the pandemic). And what sucks is that we still got promo saying they are in love with each other. From Stuart, from Kate, from Rachael New herself. We have still gotten promo promoting the romance. Why not have them have a big fight then or something, idk. They gave us hope. And you know what Fellowes says about false hope.

So I'm just supposed to believe that William gives up on Eliza and doesn't return…? No, I cannot. As much as we hated the deaths on DA when they wrote out actors, at least those characters still died in love with their spouses. And while I'd still be foaming at the mouth in anger if they killed him off… yeah.

William's last lines of the show is a flashback including him saying "is it all worth it?" And the answer is… no it's not.

Hi goldy hope u r fine ❤️ so I have been thinking alot about the army reaction toward the members how is it different from member to another specialy (jimin , tae , jk , hopi ) first of all I have been army and pjms since 2018 I saw jimin on yt video from then every thing begin, in the stars I was on Instagram most of the armys I followed was Arabic big Stan accounts and for my bad luck most of them were either teakook Stan or sheeper but anyway after some time I move to twitter and it was hell for me when I say there's days were I couldn't sleep and cried because the hate jimin was and honestly still getting from doing absolutely nothing but good things I'm not overacting but when I saw and heard rumours about tea from last year as example dating and smoking clubs and other things you will never see a big reaction from army thay ignor the whole thing I sometimes imagine if jimin did one thing of those what will happen, with jk the whole army feel like his parents that they know what good for him and that he's child and will learn from his mistakes and they will scold him sometimes but eventually when there is project from him or even a photo he got all the ot7 and jkks support and for hopi he got all the empathy and support but like they always will remind you oh poor hopi and hyung line the didn't get any support when the are have a very successful career with their solo career and very much happy with their life . I respect and love all of them and know very well that all of them worked so hard on their career and their private life is theirs and they can do whatever they want but why is forbidden to speak about tae or hopi and it's okay to speak about jimin or jk? Jimin gets compared to female artists and gets subjected to the same misogyny and sexism that any female kpop artist face in the industry right down to the language they use to insult him.

Right down to the body shaming, he’s fat, he’s atrophied, he’s a slut- you name it.

You add homophobia to the equation and it's not looking good for either of them.

And I think Namjoon addressed this recently during his promos of his Indigo. That people either assume they are innocent or the worse.

To this day some fans still think they all live together like the seven little dwarfs in their tiny cabins in the woods.

Then you look at the members people are most threatened by and Jimin sits on top of that list. Jk solo stans are threatened by him on behalf of their fave, Tae solos are threatened by him on behalf of Tae.

This is not to absolve Jimin solos cos they equally feel threatened by Hobi and Tae Kook.

Hobi because his talents as a dancer directly threatens Jimin's as a dancer. You often see them attacking Hobi stans and fighting over the whole best dancer title thingy. It's stupid really cos as far as I'm concerned no one in BTS is Jimin's competition whether in dance or singing. NO ONE.

And yes they have a lot to fear from Jimin if he were to compete with them on anything. May be not rapping 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

That's not to say these men aren't talented. They are. But Jimin will eat them up hands down.

I like to think the Fandom is biased and prejudiced against Jimin but frankly Tae has established himself as one not to be trifled with💀

The love and support for the hyung line is affirmative action on the part of the Fandom to compensate for hate and discrimination against them. It used to be bad won't lie.

But you are right, Jimin deserves to be treated fairly if not equally. I know better than to rely on anyone to do for Jimin what I think he deserves. I worry for his mental health and his sanity and I pray for him constantly.

I think we'll start to see some of the members break into other solo activities. I'm here for Actor Jin. I think we're going to see Namjoon work in other mediums, sooner rather than later given his mystery project promo (and his repeated mentions of art and other mediums). I could see him creating and curating. Yoongi? I think he's going to be focused on producing the group efforts. But, pipe dream, I'd love to see him take on scoring a film. His lyrics and rapping skills get deserved attention but the backing of his songs is so interesting and I've love to see more of it in a different form.

I'd love to see Hobi lean more into fashion -- a fashion partnership/collab -- he could be the guest editor of a shoot/project/mag or do a small run of something. I don't know about the others. Tae has already been involved in so many other projects. I definitely think he'll act in some way-- the amount of offers he must have after the IU music video! But Tae keeps us guessing. Variety shows, live performances, acting in music videos, coffee ambassador, muse for all the magazines. I know he's got something up his sleeve we don't expect.

I think we may see more collabs for JK. There is no way that every major recording artist isn't fighting through his proverbial inbox. I could see him doing collabs in conjunction with group work to keep his toe in the solo side (and on the charts) but not take the time/attention of a full album. I hope Tae might do this as well in his own way. I think he was so smart with his first album -- no collabs, live performances, not written by him (so people can't speculate). He's a critically and commercially acclaimed artist in his own right. I'd love to see him partner with other artists -- especially ones that aren't as mainstream.

And I think they'll do some big spon con together -- of what I don't know -- but something to globally highlight the reunion.

I could also see SK wanting them to do more prominent cultural ambassador-y stuff post-ms. I think of that video that Namjoon had to do for his graduation ceremony. It will be interesting to see how the navigate that and what they feel that they have to do in those capacities.

I love the idea of Namjoon curating a museum! I think it would suit him very well, and I hope his next project (which I assume it’s music) it’s gonna be something like Indigo again, I really liked the album. Yes for actor Jin and uhmmm I think Yoongi is gonna be an even bigger producer, if Pdogg isn’t in Hybe he will produce the group songs and I can see him having more projects piled up for other artists, I think he likes being a producer a lot.

I hope Hobi does some mentoring in a show again, he’s a great teacher and the industry’s best dancer so he should get a gig like that. Regarding Jungkook, do you think this America trial will keep going? Like do you think his solo career will keep being centered there?

I think Taehyung will drop a second ep somewhere in the future, and that he will drop Travel with me too idk why but I’m convinced that song is gonna see the light of the day (I’m just convincing myself 🕯️), also yeah more acting gigs, something international at some point.

For the WIP game: "Beholding is a gossip queen" and "Time Travel AU: I’m A Sucker For A Kind Word"!

So the time travel AU is something I'm working on for the fiction podcast Big Bang, and there's a promo post for it! Basically: s5!Martin arrives in 2016 a few months before s5!Jon, and he's like "oh shit I have to save the world???" all while fighting backing the Forsaken and trying not to get spotted by Elias. It's not quite as deep into an exploration of Martin as I wanted it to be, but that's because my dissertation and my fibro are regularly competing for how much of my life they can suck up--but I've got plans to do some one-shots set in that world to go back to some ideas I had to cut out of the big document for time's sake. And the title is from a song I really, really love by my favorite band of all time

And for the other one, @hihereami and I were just chatting one day about something unrelated and made a joke about the Eye being fond of gossip. It spiraled into an actual conversation and a crack fic idea being treated semi-seriously, and the subtitle is "Jon subsists on gossip instead of trauma." Basically, Jon and Martin go to the village one day in the Scottish safehouse period, and then there's some local tea spilled and the Eye is like "whoa this is tasty why haven't I been eating this for years?"

It's gonna be pretty goofy tbh, but I also started toying around a lot with the idea of "well, okay yeah, they're the Fears but what about more mundane types of fear could exist?"--the fear of being talked about by gossipy old ladies in your town for instance--and it's also becoming a bit of a "how to break down the supernatural horrors haunting your world with some Quirky Ideas", which I did not expect lol

This is only the second time Jon’s come with Martin to the village, and the first time hardly counts—he was so worried about slipping back into the Lonely, and Jon was just as anxious about him walking there and back. Now, though, after two weeks in the safehouse, Jon is starting to go stir crazy, and he’s rejected nearly every book Martin’s brought back to try to appease him.

So Martin has insisted Jon comes with him today. They’ll pick up some groceries, hit the crafts store for another skein of yarn for Martin, and then wander into the bookshop for Jon’s entertainment.

It takes hardly any time to get through the little market. Martin chats with the cashier, Marie, who he’s seen every time he’s come in. He introduces Jon, who blushes a vibrant pink at Marie cooing at “your cute boyfriend, Martin,” and asks after her grandchildren.

Jon seems unsurprised at this development, only smiling up at Martin while he listens and reacts to Marie’s stories. The transaction is over when she chimes in with, “Oh, and Odelia, the woman who owns the pub? We just found out about her son, and I don’t mean to be a gossip, but you mentioned wanting to try the food, so I dropped your name when she came in this morning.”

“Oh?” Martin asks politely, knowing he’s about to find out that someone’s son is gay.

But something strange happens before Marie can continue. Jon, his eyes switching to that eerie green, asks, ”What about Odelia’s son?”

And Marie answers cheerfully enough, if more direct than she might’ve otherwise been. But Martin sees the horror in Jon’s face at first, and then how his expression…changes.

To end the interaction and find out what just happened to Jon, Martin smiles politely at Martin and says, "Well, tell Odelia we'll stop by soon for dinner, and that if she has questions, we'll do our best to help. Thanks, Martin! See you soon!"

He practically drags Jon out after him, and when they’re clear of the storefront, he whips around and demands, “what the fuck was that Jon?”

“I…I think the Eye likes…gossip?”

You sit in Tyler's dressing room with your legs across his lap on the couch. You're playing with his fingers. One of his arms is wrapped around your shoulders and your head is on his arm.

"I've been thinking," Tyler says, looking down at you. "We should tell Adam. I mean, he's your brother and he has no idea that we're together."

Sighing, you say, "You know how protective he can be, Tyler. He's not going to like that I'm dating one of his best friends."

Tyler looks down at you and says, "He won't like it even more if we continue to hide it."

Someone calls Tyler's name for his match with Fandango against Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan and you say, "Yeah, you're right. Um, we can tell him after NXT if you want."

Both of you get up as Tyler says, "Hopefully he doesn't beat my ass."

You take his hand and say, "I'll beat his if he even tries to beat your ass."

He laughs and you leave the dressing room. Fandango is in the hallway and he looks at the two of you. Dango is the only person that knows about you and Tyler, and that's because Tyler spends as much time with Dango that he does with you.

Dango says, "I just saw your brother head back to the Undisputed Era's locker room from the promo he did with Dream. Roddy was with him, and Adam stopped to ask if I had seen you so he might be looking for you, Olivia. Just giving the two of you a heads up since you decided to hold hands."

Tyler looks down at your connected hands and he says, "We're telling Adam after the show anyway."

The three of you head to the backstage area. You stand in a dark corner with Tyler, kissing him as Dango stretches out. There's still ten minutes until their match begins. Hiding in a corner with Tyler until his matches begin isn't uncommon, especially for the past few months.

You've been with Tyler for months, and you've kept it a secret this whole time. Hiding in corners and in his dressing room helps.

Tyler's hands are on your face as you slowly kiss him. You smile into the kiss and wrap your arms around Tyler's waist, pulling him closer to you.

"I'm close enough, baby," Tyler says, laughing a bit into the kiss.

You giggle against his lips and say, "Not to me."

He laughs and says, "You are crazy."

You run your fingers through Tyler's short hair and you keep him close to you.

Both of you are too involved with each other that you don't notice your brother come into the backstage area.

Adam looks around for you and notices you with Tyler. He's shocked at what he sees. He walks up to you and almost shouts, "What the hell is going on here?"

Tyler pulls back from the kiss and you look at Adam. "Nothing!" you automatically say.

"It doesn't look like nothing, Olivia!" your brother says, eyes flickering to Tyler. "What the hell are you doing with my sister?"

You look at Tyler and he says, "Adam, I can explain what's going on-"

Adam says, "You better do it fast before I kill you, Breeze."

Tyler throws his hands up and he says, "Okay, Olivia and I were going to tell you after NXT was done but we're dating."

You stand beside Tyler and Adam says, "Dating. You're dating my sister?" His voice rises again and brings his hand down across Tyler's cheek.

"Adam!" you gasp. "That was completely unnecessary."

Your brother gets in Tyler's face. "Keep your hands off my sister," Adam snarls. You try to wedge yourself between them. "I'm serious, Breeze. If I see you anywhere near my sister I'll-"

Tyler says, "You'll what, Cole? Hm? Hit me? You've already done that so come up with something better than that."

Adam says, "We can bring this out into the ring where I can hit you with a Last Shot. Or how does a superkick sound?"

Your boyfriend says, "Bring it, Cole."

"Tyler!" you say. "Adam, stop!"

You hate that your brother and your boyfriend are fighting. You look at Roderick Strong with a glance of desperation. You need help. Both of these men are taller than you and weigh more than you. You won't be able to hold them off for much longer.

Your brother takes a few steps back and you stop struggling to get between them. You move and stand in front of Tyler.

Then before you know it, a foot connects with your jaw and you fall into Tyler. You clutch your jaw as Tyler holds you in his arms. You look at Adam and he has a look of regret on his face. "Olivia-" Adam starts, but you cut him off.

"Save it," you spit at him, walking off to see the trainer you so can make sure that nothing is broken.

Tyler's match goes on, and you watch as your jaw is examined.

Nothing's broken and the skin is just bruised. The door to the trainer's room opens up and you watch as Tyler runs in with Fandango right on his heels.

He gently touches the forming bruise on your jaw and says, "I didn't think he'd actually try to superkick me but then you got in the way. I tried to move you."

You say, "I'm okay. Just bruised up. Nothing's broken. Adam's superkicks are ridiculously hard so I'm lucky I don't have a broken jaw."

Tyler pulls you into a hug. He kisses your temple and says into your hair, "I just have to get changed then you can come back to my place. I don't want you to go back to Adam's."

"I live with him so I'll have to go back eventually," you say. "I'll just tell Britt that I'm staying with you tonight. Adam knows so I guess there's no point in hiding it anymore."

He says, "Alright. Let me get changed then we can go. You call Britt and tell her you're staying with me."

You nod and walk off with Tyler to his dressing room.

As Tyler showers and changes, you call your brother's girlfriend. Britt answers in a few rings. "Hey, Olivia. What's going on? Everything okay?" she asks.

"I, uh, I'm staying with Tyler Breeze tonight," you say. "Adam found out that I'm with Tyler and he freaked out, plus he superkicked me trying to superkick Tyler so I don't want to see Adam right now."

Britt says, "I'll talk to him. Wait, you're with Tyler? Like you're dating Tyler?"

You sigh and say, "Yeah, I am. We've been together for a few months now. Adam just found out today and that's when he freaked out. Tyler and I were going to tell him after NXT but he found us together. He and Tyler said some words backstage then I got accidentally superkicked by my brother."

There's a sigh before Britt says, "I'll have a long talk with your brother tonight so you can come home tomorrow. Hopefully, he'll have an apology ready for you and for Tyler. Oh, and by the way, I kind of figured you were with Tyler. You've been spending a lot of time with him and sneaking off with him. Don't think I didn't notice, Miss Olivia."

Giggling, you say, "Someone was bound to notice. I'm glad it was you and not my brother considering the current circumstances."

Tyler walks into the room and looks at you. Britt says, "Well, I'm happy for you. I'll talk to Adam about it and get him to calm down. I'll see you tomorrow."

"See you, Britt," you say, hanging up the phone. "Ready?"

Your boyfriend says, "Yeah. I'm all showered and clean so we can just lay in bed and cuddle all night."

You gather your things, meaning your phone and wallet, before asking, "Can we actually stop at Dunkin to grab some coffee? And can we play Fall Guys tonight? Please?"

Tyler laughs and says, "Yes, we can grab a coffee and play Fall Guys tonight."

"Yay," you say, leaving the dressing room.

Your boyfriend laughs and intertwines his fingers with yours. You both leave Full Sail Arena. A few of the remaining superstars look at you and Tyler as you walk the halls to leave.

Tyler does stop at Dunkin, and you get your usual coffee order. A large coffee with cream and extra sugar. When you get back to Tyler's, he gets Fall Guys set up on his TV for you and he uses his PC to play.

You play several rounds with him. One crown is won between the two of you, and it's you that won it. You definitely rubbed it in Tyler's face and his response was, "Olivia, you're like a pro at this game. You play every damn day."

"And what about it?" you said in reply to Tyler's comment. He just laughed.

After about two hours of Fall Guys, you both decide to stop. It's late, and you both won't stop yelling "quit pushing" during several of the rounds where if you fall off the edge, you lose.

Tyler cleans up the Dunkin and shuts off the game. That's when you realize that you didn't bring any clothes to sleep in.

You look at Tyler and say, "Um, we have a teeny tiny problem."

"What's that?" Tyler asks, walking into the living room from the kitchen.

Playing with your thumbs, you say, "I don't have anything to sleep in. Jeans and a t-shirt isn't exactly comfortable."

Your boyfriend looks at you and asks, "You don't sleep in your underwear?"

You blink at him and ask, "You do?"

Tyler asks, "Who doesn't sleep in their underwear?"

You point to yourself and say, "Me! I don't sleep in my underwear. I actually sleep in pajamas or sweatpants."

"Well I have pajamas or sweatpants you can sleep in," Tyler says to you. "Go find something to wear."

As soon as you were given free rein of Tyler's closet, you sprint to Tyler's room. He follows you and you say, "You never specified what I can grab."

Tyler says, "Spare the hoodies, please."

You get to Tyler's closet and open the door. You look in the small closet and find a t-shirt and a pair of sweatpants. You change, forgetting Tyler was behind you. His eyes are on you, too focused on you to look away.

When you're finished changing, you turn and find Tyler's eyes on you. Your cheeks heat up and you ask, "Did you just watch me change?"

He stammers, "I, uh, I might have. I didn't do it on purpose though."

You giggle and throw your jeans and t-shirt somewhere in the room and you walk over to Tyler. "You watched me change on accident?"

"Yeah," he says.

Tyler's face is a little red and you say, "It's okay. I know I'm hot so you don't have to be embarrassed about it."

He laughs and says, "You are stunning, baby. I'm not embarrassed about it."

You say, "Your flustered cheeks say differently, Mr. Breeze."

A giggle leaves your lips and his hands move so they're resting gently on your cheeks. He cups your face as he says, "I'm going to kiss you so you stop talking about how red my cheeks are."

"I won't stop you from kissing me," you say, smiling up at him. "You know I'll never turn down a kiss."

Tyler smiles and pulls your lips to his. The kiss is slow and soft at first. You shuffle closer to the taller man in front of you and grab a fistful of his shirt. Your eyes flutter closed as the soft kiss continues. You deepen the kiss when you not-so-accidentally slip your tongue into his mouth.

A soft gasp leaves Tyler and you smirk a bit against his lips. His fingers slide up into your hair, holding you close to him by your head. Your hands slip up his shirt, going up and over his stomach and his chest. The fabric is being pushed up as you move your hands.

Your boyfriend pulls back from the kiss to look at your hands under his shirt. "Miss Cole, are you trying to tell me something?" Tyler asks.

Giggling, you say, "Maybe I am, Mr. Breeze. You know how much I love when you don't wear a shirt."

Tyler laughs and he pulls his shirt over his head, leaving him in just his jeans. They hang a little low on his hips and you trace the v-line that's exposed.

Your eyes follow your fingers as Tyler asks, "Anything else you'd like me to take off?"

You look up at Tyler and say, "Um, not right now."

Tyler just smiles and shakes his head a bit before bringing his lips to yours. The kiss is deep almost immediately. You hook your fingers into the belt loops on his jeans and pull him close to you.

His hands are now on your waist and you take a step toward the bed, letting Tyler know where you want to go. You push him onto the bed so he's sitting on it. The kiss breaks and you look down at him.

Tyler's fingers slip up your shirt and he says, "It's only fair."

"I don't disagree," you say as Tyler pulls off the shirt you're borrowing him him.

His eyes scan you body and you reach behind you, unclasping the bra you're wearing. You toss it at him and he says, "You didn't have to do that."

You crawl onto his lap, straddling his thighs and ask, "Are you complaining about it?"

Tyler starts to leave kisses on your now exposed breasts. A soft sigh leaves your lips and you run your fingers through Tyler's hair.

A few moments and marks later, you put your hands on Tyler's cheeks and tilt his head up. You lean down and kiss him. This kiss is rougher and more passionate than the other kisses you've shared with Tyler tonight. You slightly grip his hair as he moves backward on the bed.

Subconsciously, you start to unbutton Tyler's jeans. At the same time, Tyler's fingers are hooked in the borrowed sweatpants and he's tugging at them slightly. Tyler gets the sweats off of you, leaving you in your panties. You get on your knees between Tyler's legs and pull off his jeans. You throw the pants across the room before Tyler pulls you onto him and rolls over so he's hovering on top of you. He's kissing your neck.

Your eyes close and you sigh underneath Tyler's body. His hands roam your body for a few seconds before one of them finds its way into your panties. His fingers gently start rubbing and playing with your clit. You gasp and put your fingers into Tyler's hair.

This is the first time either of you are spending a night with the other and look what's happening. His hand is in your panties and he's marking up your neck.

"Tyler," you sigh, kissing his forehead.

A finger dips inside of you, making you squirm slightly. "Yes?" he mumbles against the skin on your neck.

You say, "I need you to do something."

Tyler starts to move his finger in and out of you, making you moan his name softly. "Like that?" he says.

"Just like that," you say in almost a whisper.

Satisfied with your answer, Tyler moves his finger faster and harder. You bite your lip to stifle some moans but it's not really working.

A second and eventually a third finger is added. Tyler's lips are on your chest and trailing down to your breasts. You're gripping the bedsheets and arching your back off the mattress as Tyler moves his fingers.

"Fuck," you sigh as he builds your orgasm. Your breathing is labored and you look down at Tyler.

Suddenly, he pulls his fingers out and you whine from the sudden absence of his fingers. You watch as he smiles and says, "I got you, baby. Don't worry."

Tyler pulls off your panties and his boxers before reaching into his bedside table and grabbing a tiny silver package. He opens it and slides the contents onto himself. He kneels between your legs, which are wrapped around his waist.

You lick your bottom lip as he asks, "Okay?"

Nodding, you say, "Yes."

He smiles and slowly begins to slide his erect member into you. You gasp and moan from the pressure. You grasp the bedsheets again as Tyler's length fills you.

Tyler lets you adjust to him before he starts to move. He thrusts his hips into you, holding himself up as he hovers over you. You stare up at him as he fucks your into the mattress.

Your moans and the sound of skin slapping together fill the dimly lit bedroom. You're now holding onto Tyler's forearms as he moves.

One of his hands moves down and start to rub your very sensitive clit. He picks up his speed as he thrusts harder into you.

Your orgasm is built back up within a few movements and your legs shake from the overstimulation.

A knot forms in your stomach and your nails dig into Tyler's arms. Tyler moves harder and he starts to hit his target; your g-spot.

After a moment, Tyler pulls out of you and pulls off the condom. He ties it off and you crawl under the blankets. Your jaw aches a bit but it was worth it for the sex.

That was only the third time the two of you have ever gotten together, and it was more amazing than the first two times. Especially because you don't have to leave right after. You get to stay the night.

Tyler lays beside you and pulls you into his arms. Your back is to him and you're holding one of Tyler's hands. He's leaving soft kisses to your shoulder and neck.

"Guess what?" you ask.

He says, "Hm?"

You turn your head toward him and say in a singsong voice, "I get to stay the night."

Tyler laughs and says, "Yes you do. Expect another round shortly because I just can't get enough of you." He playfully growls and attacks your neck again.

You giggle and get comfortable in Tyler's arms as he leaves even more marks on your neck.

You're lovely, and I enjoy seeing your blog on my dashboard. I'm sorry this has been such a difficult thing to process. It's always really difficult to rework an image of someone you once thought you knew. However I'd like to just put it out there - sometimes (I think the large majority of the time) news is presented in the most sensationalist way, such that nowadays I make a point of de-sensationalizing any news I read in my head. In the case of the whole Harry's memoir thing- I can sympathize with Harry as a person possibly just wanting to take back some control of the narrative for himself. Not just in the most recent events with family (that I tend to think are less horrifying than the fandom/Twitter sussex squad discusses it anyway), but in all aspects of his life. I do not at all think he's going to put his family on blast. I can easily imagine Meghan reigning that dialogue in; she has the tendency to think before she speaks that he seems to lack. And he loves his family. Similar to The Interview promos, I imagine the publishing house knew to increase the interest by implying it to be a tell all memoir. I think he's just done a lot of growing up that he didn't know he had to do over a short period of time, esp re: implicit bias/racism in the setting of media's blatant attack on someone he loves, and is disappointed by the institution's and his family's response to it. I think he's emerged a more introspective and aware human, albeit a disillusioned one. Yes it breaks my heart to think that Meghan won't get a break from the tabloids any time soon. If I were him I'd counsel him to write it & sit on it for a few yrs. But I don't want to give the media the power to destroy Meghan in my mind, and I pray she & Harry won't either. I think she'll be okay. She's a strong one, and I think he's able to draw that same link for himself and be thoughtful about what he does. No one likes being misunderstood/misinterpreted, and I wouldn't be surprised if Harry's especially triggered by that given his history with the press. Maybe this idea emerged from therapy, idk. I can empathize with that, even if I wouldn't do it myself. I hope and pray Meghan gets the support she needs from him and her loved ones in the meantime. I'm honestly not going to read it. I think the less attention I give the BRF the better off they are, unless they're doing something immoral/illegal (see: Woking pizza alibi). And I think at the end of the day, people will unfairly judge other people, especially public figures that have tragic pasts and are publically fighting with the media. A lot of it is going to be noise and I'm not going to give my energy into figuring it out. I like to think I've got a good sense of who they are as people - flawed but ultimately well meaning and earnest. I'm a huge admirer of Meghan and think Harry got really lucky with this one and I'm proud of him for choosing her in more ways than one. I believe Harry and Meghan are lovely people, and I 100% believe their interview. I believe that there are people in the palace with a lot of unchecked power who deliberately uncovered her and Archie from BRF protection for reasons of believed superiority over Meg & Arch. And they're figuring out how to deal with that as a couple and a family. And it's none of my business past that imo. I pray for them and hope it'll eventually end in peace for them all. Just wanted to add another perspective, and hopefully some levity. xx M

Hi, dear. First thing’s first, I really appreciate that this is off anon lol. I love it when people own their opinions, and it says a lot that you did. So thank you for that.

Second of all, I really appreciate the nuance and perspective that is in this message. I agree that the news is sensationalist, and my initial reaction was based off of that. I did watch the promotional clips of the interview and I believe it did sour my expectations going into it when I watched it nearly a week after it aired. I did my best to stay away from Tumblr because I didn’t want that to hinder my view, but it was impossible to separate the promotions that presented the information one way from what it actually was, and thank you for bringing that up with respect to the memoir because I hadn’t considered it. I will say that my knee jerk reaction is pretty on par with the way I still feel about it 24 hours later, especially since I got the news directly, not from Tumblr or Twitter or anywhere else, but you’re right that it could have soured my view from the very start.

I appreciate that he wants to take back some of the narrative but I think that ship has sailed, tbh. He did that with the interview and now I just think it feels like information overload. At some point, people are going to get tired of hearing the wealthy, privileged, powerful Prince complain about his life while more than 4 million people have died due to a global pandemic in less than 2 years. Not to say that he doesn’t struggle - in the words of Roxane Gay, there is no oppression Olympics (and that can be extended to struggle Olympics) - but people view it that way and will get tired of it, if they haven’t already.

I also agree that Harry’s past with the press has tarnished the way he has handled the media and the public post-exit, when he’s finally in a position to strike back without being somewhat obliged to them as part of the circumstances of his birth. I understand and sympathize with him but I just don’t think the public does, and the public matters much, much more than the perspective of one single American fan, to whom he’s never been obliged, and I simply do not think the public will afford him that same understanding, sympathy, and leniency. The public and the media are critical to his humanitarian work - his mother never realized that towards the end of her life, and I truly don’t think she would have been the martyr/saint she is perceived to be now if she had lived, because she did not know how to meet the media in the middle and eventually that started to piss people off. He’s starting to piss people off now and if it doesn’t bother him personally (which it definitely does), I don’t want it to affect his causes. The Invictus Games, Sentebale, Walking with the Wounded, WellChild, Mayhew, Smartworks, Archewell, etc. deserve better than to suffer the wrath of the media and an apathetic public because their patrons simply will not shut up lol.

I guess my point is that they will be unfairly judged (regardless, but especially due to the way they’re handling things), and I think it would suit them better in the long run if they adopted a different strategy. I really sympathize with the fact that he feels frustrated with the narrative that has been manufactured but I really, really think the narrative will only get worse and worse as he continues to go on and on about how badly his life sucks, basically. Again, I don’t deny that he struggles - we all do, some more than others, especially when there are mental health issues - but the public, to me, simply does not care. My own therapist has told me to simply stop caring about the things that I discuss with him. Not to say that they’re not relevant, important, or worthy of discussion - they absolutely are - but his point is that you cannot change people and you are wasting your energy and struggling yourself because you want to change them so, so, so badly that you’re neglecting your own self care in the process. I hate that I do it to myself and I also hate that he appears to be doing it to himself. I’m sure a lot of this conversation has been brought up in his own therapy, and I’m no professional, but I’m doing my best to heed the advice of my own therapist - which is the opposite of what Harry is doing - and it’s done wonders for me, when I actually can do it.

If there’s anything I know from this whole thing, it’s that Harry is absolutely punching above his weight, love him as I may, and that he adores, adores, adores his wife. He has chosen her from the very second she came into his life and I couldn’t want anything more for him or from her. I’m not going to lie, I would have been in this thing for any wife that Harry chose, because I was here long before Meghan specifically came into his life. However, I am glad every day that he chose her, that he loves her, that he wants to protect her, that she loves him back, that he lives the life with her that he’s wanted as long as I (and I’m sure he) can remember. I love her because he loves her, and I would have no matter what, because at the end of the day, it’s his happiness and comfort that matters to me, that has mattered to me since I discovered him and how wonderful he can be more than 7 years ago. What more could I ask of Meghan? What more, as his fan to the end (annoy me as he may), could I want for him? Who could say anything about her in that regard? If there’s anything that has come of this mess, to me, it’s that Harry loves, loves, loves his wife. I will always be happy for him and I will always be proud of him for choosing her, even if I don’t always agree with the way he goes about it.

I’m looking forward to peace, too. I cannot wait for things to just die out, for them to work things out as a couple and as a family, and for everyone to move on. The family will still do their thing and the Sussexes can do theirs, but I cannot deal with this back and forth, tit for tat, petty nonsense anymore. They’re wonderful and flawed, like the rest of them (except Andrew), and I just hope that they can all come to some kind of agreement or terms that lets this die down. It’s exhausting for everyone - themselves included. If I’m this tired, I can only imagine how tired they all are.

4Kids Korner - Season 2 - Episode 3

I'm a bit late this week because I got caught up with work and school-related dread, but now I'm back to bring you more 4Kids products! This week we have an epic trifepic: Winx Club Magazine Issue one - the castle, Kirby Right Back at Ya - Ice Kirby (DVDouble-Shot) and Kirby Right Back at Ya - Kirby Comes to Cappy Town!

Let's start by getting the smallest one out of the way. Here's Kirby Right Back at Ya - Ice Kirby (2005)

There's something I oddly like about DVDouble-Shot. Starting In 2005, the DVDouble-Shot line was introduced featuring two-Episode DVDs of 4Kids most profitable shows as a way of promoting 4Kids TV. As for the consumer, the main selling point is that you could buy them for a low price, collect and possibly trade them with your friends, kind of like Pokémon cards. I like the idea of one kid saying to the other on the playground, "hey, wanna trade your Ninja Turtles for my YuGiOh?" How successful they were, I have no idea, but they're fun and easy to review on this show. Given their small portion size, practically every DVDouble-Shot is the same. This one had the episodes "The Chill Factor" and "DeDeDe's Snow Job," in accordance with the ice theme of the disc. It also features assorted promos for then-current and upcoming 4Kids shows identical to those seen in the 4Kids TV September demo disc (which I will hopefully review some time in the future.) Before we move on, though there's one little thing I want to point out about the box art. You can't see it in the photos I've provided, but the ice monster on the cover is far more pixelated than Kirby, if you look closely at it, so it appears to me that they lifted it right out of the episode and placed it on the cover. I guess that's just what happens when no official art of a character exists for your graphic designers to use...

Now that we have that one out of the way, let's talk about the stars of today's episode, which actually turned out to have much more historical value than most of the other stuff in my collection. So say hello to the Winx Club Magazine Premiere Issue, The Castle (2005)

This is a very special addition to my collection not only because it's part of what I consider to be 4Kids' absolute peak year, but since the book was presumably printed in January of 2005, it means this was one of the first pieces of of merchandise to feature the now-famous 4Kids TV logo. Heck it might have even been printed before then. As for the book itself, it's quite cute as it features everything an 8-11 year old girl wanting to be a hip and trendy 2000s teenager could want, and contains surprisingly few ads for Winx Club merch. And even more adorable, is the publisher's attempts to fit that description using words like "slammin'" in sentences. I call it a magazine, but it's really more dedicated to the comic included, "The Castle," which I would have read, but I needed to get some sleep the day I read it, so I skimmed the book's numerous activities, instead. But for those still interested, the comic is a retelling of Bloom's enrollment in Alfea, with original art that's pretty accurate to the actual show. But the book's real allure is the activities. Like the free trading card you'll see in the photo above. It even comes with a full-page description of what a trading card game is, making reference to YuGiOh in the process, which I thought was funny since 4Kids owned that, and also because it heavily implies that only boys play YuGiOh when the show itself has many female duelists. After that, you have a faux interview with Bloom taken from the perspective of a fellow Alfea Student. What I remember most clearly about that, is that Bloom says she listens to top 40's, which made me think "man, she's got some trash music taste," even though I, myself have said on multiple occasions off of tumblr that I listen to basically everything. Also included on the magazine are a paper fortune-telling toy, a best friend diary which includes a "secret crush" slot to fill in, a page for writing down predictions about the reader's future, and even a personality test which assigns your traits to a type of flower, as suggested by Flora on the page. The funny thing about this is that one question asks for the reader's favorite kind of movie, and one of the options is "anime everything," which I thought was funny since anime was just starting to get big at that time in America, and the online anime community was just starting to grow. Finally, on the last page, probably the most creative of all, is a step-by-step slumber party plan by Musa, which details inviting everyone over, having them show up dressed as their favorite popstar (like Brittany Spears, for example) and bring their favorite CD from said popstar, then taking turns playing them and talking about them. It sounds quite fun, and it made me smile imagining all the little kids who tried this. That's exactly what I think is awesome about children's entertainment: it makes them happy and builds their imagination. So that's the Winx Club Magazine, a really good buy, but I must admit they used the same art of the girls more than once on a few occasions, and also wrote in a plot hole in the interview with Bloom, where she says she discovered her powers as a child, but in the show she unlocks them at her current age when saving Stella from the first monsters of the series. So it may have a couple flukes, but still quite enjoyable.

And last, but never least, it's time for Kirby Right Back at Ya: Kirby Comes to Dream Land (2002)

This one is also historically significant for two reasons. One is that it was the very first release of one of the more famous non-Pokémon/YuGiOh shows 4Kids had to offer, but it also played a part in promoting the very launch of the Fox Box, as you'll see on the box art. This disc may only have the first three episodes of the show, but it super makes up for it with a plethora of special features, more than any of the DVDs I currently own, and that they strangely enough don't tell you about on the box. And speaking of the box, though you might not see it, the episode descriptions on the back are written entirely in comic sans. Yeah, it's clear to see 4Kids wasn't quite as sharp as they would be in the next few years... and the DVD menus are also written entirely in this font. But that doesn't take away from the outstanding value. much like the Fright to the Finish DVD, this one's special features are split between two menus. For this one, there's "More Kirby" and "Added Attractions," which is the far superior one, but more on that in a minute. The More Kirby menu features a character gallary telling you about the main cast, set to music from the show. Then there's "Kirbyoke," which is there to teach the kids the words to the theme song. And finally, we have a preview for the next DVD in the series, which at that point hadn't a proper name, so Mike Pollock's voice just refers to it as "Kirby Right Back at Ya Volume 2." Then, in the "Added Attractions" menu, we have a promo for Cubix - Robots for Everyone's first DVD release, a short promo for the newly-launched FoxBox.TV website, and the star of this review by far, "What's Inside The Fox Box?!" This incredible 14 minute long promo (which you can find on Youtube, by the way,) previews every single show in the Fox Box's initial lineup as a way of hyping up the network for it's September 2002 launch. Well, kind of... You see, 4Kids made multi-minute promos for their own productions, complete with plot synopses by Mike Pollock and others and theme songs for the shows. Meanwhile, Stargate Infinity, a third-party show, only got a promo featuring still images of the main cast, a paper-thin explanation of the plot and no opening, all clocking in at under a minute. So, yeah, pretty lame move on 4Kids part, but at least we get to see HD footage of 4Kids lost Ultraman Tiga dub. Ultimately, it's a really fun promo from 4Kids' very beginnings as a dedicated children's entertainment company, even though it uses some uncut clips of guns in Fighting Foodons since the dub wasn't finished at that point. One last thing to point out: the promo for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (which hadn't even started production at the time,) features an unused theme song demo for the series which also made it's way onto the illusive Fox Box CD. Chapter 26- Monday After Wrestlemania 

We were in the same place for Monday Night Raw. Once Seth and I walked in together it was last night all over again. The ones who weren't able to tell us congratulations told us. Aspen my hairdresser was surprised. She said" We do a simple look for tonight honey, just enough to hide your breakouts", I said," Alright do your best". Aspen worked on me and looked good for it to be simple. Once I was done there, I went to go meet with Stephanie.

She said" Tonight your going to open up RAW and talk about last night. Also, keep it simple, everyone knows about Seth and you. Still, have to keep it professional", I said" Yes mam I know, I've learned to keep things private and don't take crap from no one", with a smile. Stephanie smiled back and nodded her head. Because she knew I was talking about her and all the times that she gave me good advice. I finished up with her and went to go find Seth. We talked till it was time for me to go open up. Seth said" Good luck tonight and remember to be professional", I said," Right I have to be the professional one". Seth rolled his eyes and rubbed my cheek with his thumb. He walked away cause it was time for the show. 

I took a breath and I walked out to the crowd. Mike Rome announced" Ladies and gentlemen please welcome the Co-Commissioner of Monday Night Raw...Ryleigh Storm". I gave a couple of people some high fives and walked straight to the ring. I placed my feet on the steps while holding onto the top rope, I guided myself towards the middle of that side. I slid in between the ropes and got into the ring. I walked over to the corner and one of the tech guys handed me a microphone. I walked back to the middle of the ring. Listening to the crowd's voice. Hearing how much they wanted more after the night they had last night. I started to speak, but they kept wanting their voices to be heard. I spoke" Are you going to let me speak", while smiling. They continued their loudness as I spoke once again. " Ladies and gentlemen welcome to Monday Night Raw!!! Tonight is the night after WrestleMania and we could not have made it any better for y'all". Well, for the most part, they loved WrestleMania. There are a few that didn't like it, but that is to everything in the world.

I continued" Last night was incredible. We saw unbelievable moments and moves. We saw titles be retained with power. We saw new champions be crowned with honor''. I was about to talk about those who got gold, but a three-voice theme song overcame the crowd. All you heard was SIERRA HOTEL INDIA ECHO LIMA DELTA......SHIELD. Roman, Dean, and Seth appeared on their set of stairs in the crowd. Michael Cole spoke" Listen to this place!!!", Corey Graves added" The Hounds of Justice are here and making their mark", Renee Young said," They are also lined up with gold once again".

Mike Rowe announced" Please welcome Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins...The SHIELD!". The three started walking down the stairs to the ring. Michael Cole Spoke" It was last night that Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose beat Gallows and Anderson for the tag titles in a very tough match", Corey replied," Then later that night Seth Rollins would defeat Finn Balor with a stomp to become the new Universal Champion. To full fill the prophecy of the SHIELD having titles together".

While they were hopping over the barricade, I said: "Well speaking of champions being crowned". I caught all three trying to hide their smiles. They each got into the ring and walked to the tech people. He handed them each a microphone. I stepped to the side of the ring where I climbed in to make room. They all looked good in their SHIELD gear, epically my guy. Professional Ryleigh, keep it professional. Once they got comfortable, I asked" So y'all want to interrupt me? I can understand this behavior from Rollins over here, but from you two, seriously?"

Seth did his little small smile and nodded. He hated that I had called him Rollins, but he knew it was just for show and fun. Roman spoke first" Hold on Ryleigh, Dean and I just want to let you know that.....Seth put us up to this". Seth looked at him like come on man. I spoke," I figured it was his idea, but ladies and gentlemen your new RAW Tag Team champions and the new Universal Champion!!". I extended my hand to present The Shield. The audience let their voices be heard. The boys looked around smiling. Knowing that they had the gold that they set out to take. 

Seth said" Yes the Shield has titles once again! Roman and Dean the tag team titles and me the Universal Championship. We made a plan and we succeed it!!!". Roman continued" We plan to keep these titles as long as we possibly can", Dean responded," We will take on anyone who decides to step up to the plate". I started to speak but got interrupted by Gallows and Anderson. They weren't happy at all. Anderson said" Alright since you want someone to step up to the plate", Gallows replied," Let's go again tonight unless you are scared". They started making small talk. I said" Scared? The Shield scared of you two...please, but tonight The Shield versus The Good Brothers in none title action!". Everyone liked the sound of that. Corey Graves said," We are going to have a WrestleMania rematch against the Good Brothers and the Shield!". 

Seth said" That goes along with me, I said I am going to be a fighting champion and will gladly take on anyone. Then Ricochet 's theme song played and he walked out. He walked down the ramp and into the ring. Mike Rowe gave him a microphone. Ricochet spoke," Seth, I admire you and would love a shot at that title tonight!". I thought that it was a good idea and it would be a good match indeed. Seth smiled and said," Well Ricochet since you are the first and walked down here to challenge me, challenge excepted". They extended their hands and they shook on it. Ricochet shook hands with Roman, Dean, and me before leaving the ring. Michael Cole said" Ricochet versus Seth Rollins tonight for the Universal Championship! Guys this is huge!", Corey Graves said" That match is going to be a good one. Who would ever think that Ricochet would challenge Seth for the title, the night after he took it from Finn Balor". 

We had finished the promo and we started heading out of the ring. Dean, Roman, and Seth opened up the ropes for me. I slipped through the opening and walked down the stairs. They hopped off the ring and we walked together. Having their theme song play in the arena. We got to the top of the entrance ramp and looked back at the crowd. The Shield put their fists out and they touched. I stood beside the screen to let them have their moment. The three looked at me and they motioned me to come over. I stood beside Seth and Roman not knowing what to do. Because I did not know what they wanted me to do. 

Roman mouthed," Put your fist in Ryleigh", I mouthed back" Really?", and Seth nodded. I smiled big and got all excited inside. I placed my fist between Roman and Seth's.  We dropped our hands and walked behind the screen. Seth put his arm around my shoulders pulling me close. Roman said" How did it feel getting to do the fist bump?", I said," It felt amazing, I've always wanted to do it". They all said you are welcome to me. Dean asked" Is there anything else of the Shield you would like to do?", I said" Maybe get to wear the gear and be part of the Shield one day?", Seth said," We will see Ryleigh, we will see". Roman and Dean went about their way.

Seth and I stayed together to talk. Seth said" Did well on keeping it professional", I said" Yeah, but it kinda got to me when you came out in the Shield gear", Seth replied," I figured it would". I punched his shoulder and saying" Not funny Rollins". Seth laughed and we walked away together. As we were walking, I took his championship and wore it around my waist. I looked up to him and smiled. He smiled back knowing that it looked good on me. That he was okay with me doing it. I'm glad that I took the chance and played with fire. Because at the end...I didn't get burned.

poor louis, he has a dozen groups of fans, some terrible, some ambivalent, and some like yourself who fight for his cause and none of this helps louis sell his music. many people have said louis was counting on a fandom and that was a big mistake and here we are. i've found faves outside but i can see why niall fans have it best. sometimes the music should come first. for the general public thats what pulls people in.

Well, to be honest, Niall had his own share of ‘drama’ when he was dating Hailee. Yes, it’s nothing comparing to what Louis endures, but still… 

And it’s not like the general public is strictly interested in music only - in contrast they are very interested in all kinds of celebrity rumours and gossip about their private lives.

Niall is lucky because his fanbase consists of shippers (narry/niall&shawn/niall and themselves, etc) and not tinhats, while the most vocal part of Louis’ fanbase are not actual fans, but conspiracy theorists of a different kind. 

All ex-1D guys have been counting on their fandoms while starting their careers (and still do now) - that’s what artists do! But for example Liam (whose situation is the closest to Louis in terms of having lots of vocal conspiracy theorists in his core fanbase) achieved success because he expanded his fanbase - he did lots of promo for STD, lots of performances and he got the song out there.

Even since Louis’ solo career started, I was praying for him to achieve the same. But the reason why it didn’t happen, why Louis didn’t have a breakthrough hit like Niall or Liam, wasn’t because his music wasn’t good enough. It wasn’t even because of larries or other conspiracy theorists. It was simply because he didn’t get enough promo.

Lots of promo and performances = success. Little or no promo and performances = no success. It’s as simple as that. 

And what was the situation with Louis’ promo and performances? He did quite a lot of uk promo for BTY (and that’s why it did well there) but when the time came to do promo and perform in us, he only did like a week of it and then disappeared. What happened? Who knows. Could be family stuff, could be problems with his former management or label - he changed them for a reason. Could be anything. But that was the reason the song didn’t do so well in us. 

Why didn’t Miss You do well? Not because it wasn’t good enough - it was amazing! Every Louis’ song is! It was because Louis only did one day of uk promo and 2 performances of it and then disappeared. What happened? Once again, no one knows. But no song and no album could be successful with little to no promo.

And now, when Louis finally has a new us label, a new management, a new team full of amazing people who care about him and his music and want him to succeed, when after a whole year without any new music he released his best solo song yet, he managed to do only one week of uk promo. And then a terrible tragedy happened. And Louis had to cancel everything. Live performances, appearances, interviews, the release of not one but two music videos, a whole round of us promo… He and his team had so much planned. And if the tragedy didn’t happen, if he did all of that and more, the song would be a huge success. Because it has everything for it. It just needs to get out there.

But the tragedy happened. And the promo stopped. And without promo and live performances no song could be successful. It’s not Louis’ fault. It’s not his team’s fault - they are doing everything they can. It’s not even our fault as fans. It’s nobody’s fault. It’s just universe being so cruel and unfair to Louis and keeping making him suffer one terrible tragedy after another. But we can’t do anything about it. No one can.

What will happen next? Who knows. Louis has a live performance next month. Both of music videos aren’t out yet. Neither are all the video interviews. All of that gives me some hope that his promo wasn’t wholly canceled but delayed and at some point he will be back. Whether it will indeed happen - I can only hope. But that’s the only way Two Of Us can get a proper recognition, and Louis can get a successful career he deserves so much.

So I've been seeing people say that 3x13 just proves that Landon is always leaving Hope. And that he just keeps feeding into her fears and insecurities(blah blah blah) and not caring about what she might need right now. Or saying things like he's in a relationship he should talk to Hope about his PTSD because that's what you do in a relationship. You don't just walking away or make certain choices on your own and so on.

Okay why are people still with this he always leaves her? When has he ever left her? Because all the times they bring up he was either sent away, kidnapped or need it a minute to himself. I guess that could say the last episode he did leave her. But if you look at everything that episode was telling us. You know he was just doing that to protect her(just like Hope would've done if she was in his shoes).

And how is he feeding into her fears and insecurities? If anything he's done the exact opposite. And he does care about what she needs. But has anyone stopped to think about what Landon might need right now? Yes they both through hell this season. And I can't honestly say that one was worse than the other because they're both bad in their own ways. But sometimes a person needs to take care of what they need right now for their own mental health before they can help someone else. And even though Landon is trying to take care of himself right now, he's still doing what he can to keep Hope safe.

Okay even though I can agree with that about the relationship part. Sometimes it's not always as black and white as people make it out to be. Thing with Landons PTSD that's something he has to bring himself to talk about when he's ready not when someone else wants him too. And that thing about walking away or making certain choices on your own. That depends on the situation that they're in(like when Hope jumped into malivore without talking to him first). And that was the case with 3x13. And I honestly feel like if people could just look past their hatred for a character/ship and actually see what's going on. They they would understand that. But I bet if it was there ship that was in the situation that Handon is in now they would be able to see and understand what's going on.

Another thing I saw is people saying that they don't feel like Landon has had any character growth this season with his fighting skills and all because we didn't get to see it. I mean I would love if we got to see what Landon went through in the PW. But I feel like they're saving that for a flash back episode. Because Aria had long hair in a lot of the promos for this season. So I feel like that's why his hair was short again in 3x13.

I found this kind of funny. People start it bullying Courtney just because of a ship. So she blocked them and then the same people who bullied her got mad at her for blocking them. It makes no sense at all. With the way a lot of H*sies has gotten this season im kind of hoping their ship never happens just out a spite. I know it's wrong to say that but that just how I feel right now. Because it's gone past the show and onto the cast and crew themselves and that's not okay.

Of course, not at all surprised to hear that. This is why I’m trying to steer clear of the hate, I’m just so done with these people spewing endless crap about him for years now, always the same distorted stuff that’s not even true. And they really cling to this idea they’ve created that he’s always leaving. There aren’t any good reasons to hate on him, so they’ve gotta come up with something I guess, but it’s ridiculous. He could leave Hope to go to the bathroom and they’d say he abandoned her again. You’re right, for the most part, they bring up times when he didn’t actually leave her. Walking away/leaving the conversation is not the same thing as actually leaving someone or abandoning them. Yes, he was sent away from the school twice in season 1, when he didn’t want to leave. And there were the few times he left because he needed time to himself, and for good reason. Him finding out Hope had lied to him about about his mom who he’d wanted to know his whole life, getting all his memories of Hope back and learning the truth and that she’d let him be with Josie, losing his brother and his powers and not knowing what his future would be, are all perfectly valid reasons for him to be hurt and overwhelmed and need to leave to take some time for himself. The only times he has actually left Hope were in 2x07 and 3x13. And both times were to protect her. Exactly, it’s obvious the reason he left last episode, and yep, Hope would’ve done the same thing, we’ve literally seen that. If Landon had stuck around, I’m sure those same people would attack him for it. Saying how dare he risk bringing danger to Hope and the school in season 2, how selfish of him. Or how dare he not do anything to save Hope from activating her vampire side now. But in the end, Landon never leaves for good, he never intends to anyway, I don’t believe. He always comes back, he’s never truly abandoned Hope.

And yeah, I have no idea what people are talking about when they say he feeds into her fears and insecurities. Exactly, he has done the opposite, he has understood her better than anyone else at that school. He has always reassured her and helped her through her fears and insecurities. If their only evidence is him “leaving” her, that just doesn’t apply. And again, both times he left, he was trying to do what he believed was best for her.

But how can they say he doesn’t care about what she needs? We don’t know all that Landon is thinking right now or all he’s been through, but it’s clear that he is trying to do what is best for Hope right now, he has shown that Hope’s life and her wellbeing is his priority. And we don’t know how he felt about breaking up with her, but he must have felt it was necessary to save her. Between causing her temporary heartbreak and saving her life, we know Landon would choose to save her life, as much as he wouldn’t want to cause her any heartbreak. He would know that he and Hope can come back together again as they always have, that can be fixed, but once she activates her vampire side, there’s no going back. So he obviously does care a lot about what she needs. He was willing to leave and go face who knows what after everything he’s been through, when he is traumatized, all to save her. We saw him struggling being back in the real world and around people, and now he’s willing to go do whatever it takes to save Hope while in the midst of his PTSD. And you’re totally right, people really don’t think about what Landon needs. Landon has every right to take care of himself right now, if that’s part of what he’s doing, especially after all he’s been through. I completely agree, if someone doesn’t take care of themselves and their own mental health, they’re not always going to be able to help someone else. I’m not even sure if Landon can take care of himself right now in the way he needs to with what he’s doing and working with Cleo and all that. But if he does want to try and heal while he’s away, that’s extremely important. He deserves that, and hopefully he’ll be able to find a way to heal after everything.

And when it comes to Landon talking to Hope about his PTSD, he had only been back for one day! Literally, he was overwhelmed and couldn’t find the words yet, like he said. He told Hope a little bit about the monster at the school. He told her what happened to him overall, while they were in the forest. And that was basically the only time they had to talk about it! Hope even apologized for rushing him. And of course you should communicate when you’re in a relationship, but trauma is different. You’re right, Landon should be able to talk about it when he’s ready to. Just like Hope said, he should be able to take as much time as he needs to tell her what happened. It truly baffles me how people can be so unaware that they’d say stuff like that, but it’s probably the same people who thought Hope should have grieved Landon and moved on after a week, so they would say something like that.

I think with making certain choices on your own, it does depend on what it is. Hope did choose to jump into Malivore without telling Landon, they’ve both done things like that. And the only reason they don’t discuss it with each other is because they’d obviously try to stop each other from doing it. Landon would have tried to stop Hope from jumping into the pit if she’d told him. If Landon told Hope what he was gonna try and do in 3x13, she probably wouldn’t have let him go or she would’ve gone with him, which he maybe thought would be more dangerous for her. So when they make choices on their own, it’s usually to keep each other safe. And they’re not always the best choices, but they’re trying to do what they think is best in these crazy situations they’re in. People seriously do need to look past their hatred, they really don’t seem to understand what actually goes on in the show because of it. Oh, they’d definitely be able to understand what was going on if it was their ship in Handon’s place. They’d have no problem with any of the things they criticize Handon for if it was their own ship.

Okay, idk if there’s anyone more disappointed than I am that we didn’t get to see Landon in the prison world. I would be thrilled if we got a flashback episode at some point. I’m just worried because the writers have done this sort of thing a lot, they’ll build something up or have something huge happen without ever actually exploring it. And it seems they’ll often do it just to get to where they want, in this case, Landon being stronger, without making the effort to show that progression. I hope this time it will be different, because yes, his hair was long in the promos. So why would they do that if we weren’t really gonna see him with his long hair? And it would also be so bizarre if they pinned Aria’s hair back for all those months just for a brief shot, not even showing all of his hair anyway. So I’m really wondering about all that, but even if we never see what happened, that doesn’t mean Landon hasn’t had any growth. It just means the writers are too lazy to show how it happened, and we just see the end result, but the growth still happened.

And really? I’m glad she blocked them, but wow. It seems those fans are always gonna be attacking someone who could be a threat to their ship. And getting mad at her for blocking them? It really doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. And I get how you feel, I’m hoping their ship never happens either. And not even just because of the ship, but because of the fans, it’s all gone way too far. I thought it was bad a year ago, but it keeps getting worse. It was bad when they were just attacking other fans, then it got even more horrible when they started attacking Aria, and now Courtney? That kind of behavior should never be rewarded. And I think they just keep making it worse for themselves. Have they not gotten the message after the writers had Hope and Josie interact only a couple times in half a season? I’m pretty sure the writers aren’t happy with them. Do they really think bullying Courtney now is gonna get them what they want? From how everyone has reacted to their behavior so far, I’d say they have probably ruined their chances of H*sie happening at this point.
