My hazbin hotel ship opinions!

• staticradio: my favorite, my obsession, my life. It is very obvious in the show that Vox is obsessed with Alastor. The most common opinion in the community is that it’s one-sided, but I like to think Alastor pulled away because he was afraid of his reciprocated feelings towards Vox.

•radiorose: This is my second favorite Alastor ship. They are super cute and they’re quite perfect for eachother. I just enjoy their friendship too much to actively ship them.

•radioapple: I only understand this ship because it seems like they have existing tension, but otherwise I don’t enjoy it. Alastor and Lucifer’s relationship was never expanded on beyond their immediate rivalry. Maybe if season 2 gives them more interactions or a backstory I will be able to get behind this ship a little more, but I really can’t see this as anything more than a boring rivals to lovers trope.

•staticmoth: It’s okay, but I don’t see them as much more than a sexual relationship. I don’t think Valentino is capable of genuine love.

•polyvees: I see Velvette as more of a younger sister to the other vees. To me the idea of her having two boomer older brothers is just funny. I don’t think this ship is necessarily bad it’s just not my thing.

•bombsnake: I think they’re cute. Unfortunately I don’t think Cherri really has returned feelings for Pentious. Based on their interactions she just seems interested in experimenting sexually with him because of his anatomy. I could be wrong though, so I’m very open to this ship!

•Charlastor: I see Alastor as a father figure or older brother to Charlie. Especially after the Hell’s greatest dad song, I just can’t ever see them in a romantic situation. I am not against the ship, but I personally don’t like it.

•Chaggie: I have nothing bad to say about them! Their relationship is healthy and I think they’re perfect for eachother. I particularly enjoy the fact that Vaggie was an ex-exterminator because it truly promotes Charlie’s idea of redemption. I am going to be extremely upset if Vaggie gets redeemed and gets seperated from her gf.

•radiodust: most people who ship this probably still have the pilot in mind. They don’t interact a whole lot in the show, and I see this as more of a crackship than anything.

•huskerdust: It looks like they’re going to be getting a slow burn relationship and I’m so happy about that. I like to think that Husk is refusing Angel’s advances because he knows he’s only doing it because of hypersexuality at first. I’m 99% sure that is what is canon too. I want to see their relationship grow.

•radiohusk: I am sorry but I can’t get behind this whatsoever. Husk absolutely hates Al, and Al owns him. There is no equality in this relationship, and it would get toxic very quickly.

•radiomaid: I love their dynamic but only as friends. I know Nifty is an adult, but she acts so childish and Alastor still owns her. I don’t like the power imbalance and maturity gap.

•alastor/lilith: if the theory that Lilith owns Alastor is true, then I am interested to see if we get a backstory about them, or what they might’ve been doing for 7 years. As of now I am neutral.

•guitarspear: these two menaces belong together. It seems like Lute really cares about Adam too which is an added bonus.

•Adamsapple: definitely a crackship. I don’t know what to say other than I find it amusing.

•valdust: I despise this ship. There is a very abusive power imbalance and it is proven that Anthony is nothing more than an object in Val’s eyes. There is no love here, just manipulation.

•royalhalo: cute, but even better if It’s poly with Vaggie. If emily becomes a fallen angel, Charlie could have two gfs and I stand behind that.

•lucilith: I hope they get back together. Lilith better have a good reason for leaving.

•Vaggie/Angeldust: most probably ship this because they were likely a longtime viv follower. I’m not against this ship necessarily, but I could never get behind it. Maybe I just adore chaggie and huskerdust too much.

The like, best way I would ship Lilith x Lucifer x Alastor is if they had the same dynamic as Lito, Hernando, and Daniella from Sens8.

Lilith and Lucifer are the touchy Feely one in a romantic and sexual relationship, and Alastor's there in a queerplatonic manner, he doesn't have sex with them or kiss them. But he's always there for their most intimate, important life moments, fascinated by THIEIR relationship, and they wouldn't want it any other way.

Like one of my favorite scenes in the show (Minor sense8 spoilers) is, Lito and Hernando are moving, and they're looking at this one house with Dani, and she starts gushing about how perfect it is for the three of them, and then gets all nervous, not knowing if she was actually moving with them or everstepping (they were all living together but all had to leave at the same time) and they're like "no no no. Of course you coming with us"

And I want that with Alastor.

The way she's touching them just a little while theyre all over eachother, and feels just as caught as they do by the person in the elevator

The way their joy brings her so much joy

The way she seemlessly takes Hernado's drink from between Lito's legs, but Lito doesn't turn any of that rizz on her

The was she's into what they're doing and they don't mind her there

The way she's still able to touch in casual settings without it being odd

How they don't hesitate to comfort her ans show her more intimate affection, and how she's surised but pleased

Imagine all that with this Lucifer and Lilith and Alastor.

(And more actual spoiled for Dani's plot, I highly encourage watching the show, but,,, the way Daniel has an abusive ex and abusive controlling family, but find love with these two, easily leans into a story where Lilith and Luci work to get Alastor out of his contract. And he's so suprised that they actually love him enough to do what they gonna do for that)

Anyway sense8 is such a good show. It has trans rep and three (3) kind of poly rep and gay rep and lesbian rep, and the sci-fi premise is so good and the story is good. Everyone should watch it.

Unpopular Opinions about characters' sexualities to make the show more adult and complex, cause I love dark romances(pt1/??)

So, first of all, I would've rather Alastor to be Pansexual, not in the nowadays way, but actually in the Freud -would fuck a tree if It was a taboo- kinda of way.

Stay calm, I have my reasons, and I will tell you all of them.

Like first thing first, it'd be way much more in character for him. He's a serial killer, and a cannibal.

He could have stopped in hell, but actually went even more wild. Thus meaning that he actually has a very passional and lustful nature, like many serial killers, and especially cannibals have.

You may think this is to be connected to the sin of Gluttony, but not at all! He doesn't act rationally to reach satisfaction like a gluttonous person would; instead he acts instinctively, he's driven by his needs, he has no control over himself, so he seeks It on others.

You see as you may have noticed, he is very violent and bloothirsty, ruthless, and merciless. All these characteristics are his true nature that he has to repress in front of others.

So having him hypersexual would've been a better call in my opinion. (Having to repress a lot, means you'd need to.. ahem... "relax" a lot.)

Or rather making him extremely into paraphilias to be considered to only engage with normal living humans (or rather human souls) when He needs to manipulate them.

Like imagine him engaging with overlords only to reach agreements or make pacts, or steal useful informations, (similarly to early Stoliz, but with real pacts where he owns sinners' Souls).

Or like not engaging in any way when he knows that it's the best way to manipulate some others. In this very case for exemple imagine Vox going totally insane knowing that even his situationship (aka Valentino or p.o.s.) went to bed with Alastor, but he didn't, doesn't, and never will. He'd become putty in Al's hands without even having to make a deal!

Plus, mega bonus: if he made a pact with Lilith he can destroy Lucifer just with that information. And maybe He never even went to bed with her, but way worst! He has had her trust for all these years, and been at her service all this time, hating the restrains, but adoring and being allowed to adore the restrainer.

To seduce her, to amuse her, to be at her leash, to be owned by her, all while Lucifer could only dream her and see her in pictures! Damn the rivalry would be beautiful! (And a great mirror to the one Luci has with Adam "bow chica bow now!").

And I would not even want him to be open about It, the other way around! Since It's still a need, he represses It in public. Like he acts like he always does in the serie 'cause that's the mask he wears!

But once he wears It off, he's unleashing everything that's underneath!

This would definitely make him even more of a creep! And I would love to see the characters deal with him.

I can see Alastor turning off Angels' advances, 'cause he knows that he's making Angel insecure, or rather secure enough to make him feel bad about self-ojectifiying (like what happened between Angel and Husk, difference being that Alastor would bribe Angel to make him listen, instead of helping him).

I can also picture him trying to seduce both Vaggie and Charlie, but losing interest as they're both too loyal to each other, while also feeling incredibly powerful when he makes a pact with each of them.

Maybeee he has intercourse with Rosie while or after having dinner with her.

Not sure about the rest.

Alastor & Lilith are connected.

Husk: "You've been gone a while and it's not like anybody knows why."

For a while now I've had some thoughts in regards to Alastor and Lilith's deal, and it involves much more than their mutual 7 year absence. We've already covered Zestial's comment about Alastor falling to Holy arms while Lilith is indeed in Holy lands, and obviously Lilith is the #1 suspect as to who exactly owns Alastor's soul, but I am suggesting that their connection may be much deeper than that.

As a disclaimer, I must warn you that I took Amir's comment about Alastor's sexuality as a greenlight, since his aromanticism is supposedly no longer canon (and much more from the pilot era is no longer canon). If you're interested in this crazy theory, I hope you'll stick around for the evidence I collected.

Faustisse's Painting of Lilith

Faustisse, although no longer working on Hazbin, provided a lot of beautiful art to promote the show, and this piece is featured in the pilot. According to some sleuths online, Faustisse confirmed the hands in Lilith's hair and unzipping her dress are in fact Alastor's. Upon further inspection, I noticed the lipstick marks on her back are also drawn in such a way that they look like Alastor's signature smile, and the snake dress has his stitched smile pattern. This was the first piece of early foreshadowing concerning their involvement.

One-off Jackpot

During Alastor's reprise, the jackpot suggests 3 apples represent the Morningstar family (Charlie, Lilith, Lucifer). However, one of the apples is replaced by a skull with deer antlers. I believe this is implying Alastor wants to replace someone in the family with himself.

It's an interesting approach when you remember this scene moments before. Alastor looks at Charlie/Lucifer, turns his head to the left where Lilith is, looks her up, down, and then smiles.

King Roach

Lucifer is the King of Hell, estranged husband of Lilith, and father to Charlie. Niffty dubbing Alastor 'King Roach' is foreshadowing his plan to replace Lucifer. When you remember Alastor's immediate dislike and 'forced' rivalry with Lucifer in episode 5, as well as his out-of-nowhere idea that he is a father figure to Charlie, it suddenly makes sense if he has reason to act that way. Step dad angle, perhaps? Why else would he have such animosity toward Lucifer, to the point his eye began twitching in anger, unless Lilith had perhaps informed him of Lucifer's absence in Charlie's life?

I noticed in Alastor's prequel comic he has a panel with something similar visually, in which he is angled beneath a rose bush. This could be a bit of a stretch, but three roses on a wreath is well known to have a romantic meaning behind it.

Re-reading the comic, I was surprised to see hearts around Alastor as he hummed along to a song.

What song could it be?

Leaving the comic behind, there is another clue in episode 5 which suggests their involvement.

Three Ducks

On the left is Lucifer's duck with his top hat, sat alone on the shelf above a suspicious looking box. On the right, a painting of a feminine looking duck with ram horns, similar to Lilith's ram horns. Beneath the Lilith duck is another duck with deer antlers. I believe this is subtle foreshadowing as to where Lilith and Alastor have both been for 7 years.

Lilith Asked Alastor to Mentor Charlie

Alastor has been trusted with the role of Charlie's mentor. I believe Lilith wants Charlie to become Queen of Hell. In episode 1, Charlie implies her belief in sinners' redemption is thanks to her mother, and that she wants to make Lilith proud. Lilith lead the uprising and resistance movement, but currently is in Heaven for mysterious reasons. Alastor is the Queen's Hand doing her work where Lucifer has not.

Alastor & Lilith parallels

• Both sinner demons who were once humans

• Lilith wanted to reshape Hell, suggesting she is a rebellious character with a moral code

• Alastor was a vigilante killer who culled people he considered bad, suggesting he is a rebellious character with a moral code

• Alastor was titled as the King of Spades in Husk's deck, while Lilith is positioned as the Queen of Spades

• Both broadcast throughout Hell

It's very likely Alastor wants the position as King of Hell for selfish reasons, as we know he wants out of his deal. That deal is most likely related to the hotel, and Alastor is slowly becoming fond of the gang, which is disrupting his plans. However, the connections between him and Lilith are quite striking, and I thought it was telling that Lilith and Lucifer are not only split up, but episode 8 implied Lucifer had slept with Eve! I'm wondering if this was infidelity, and if so, was that the reason Lilith sought out another man?

The possibilities are endless as of now.

Deer Little Doe AU

I made this AU just to spread my ship propaganda Anyway, I made a Hazbin Hotel AU where Lilith AND Lucifer both own Alastors soul. This AU is called “Deer Little Doe” (Dear Little Doe). In this universe, Alastor was in hell way before Charlie was an adult, she’s like 2-3 years old in this universe. You may be asking what’s the deal Lilith, Lucifer, and Alastor made? Well, on Alastors side of the deal he gets to live (it’ll make sense later if I decide to expand this AU) and he gets more powerful. While on Lilith’s and Lucifer's side they basically told Alastor to become a guard dog for Charlie (or a babysitter ig). At first it started off as nothing but a professional deal although the longer this story goes on the longer things start to turn more… interesting Huge ship warning in this AU btw. But don't worry cause I'll still keep in mind the fact that Alastor is canonically Ace and also sex-repulsed

Tweaking my Angel Alastor design a bitt. Love making his red tipped hair look like lil horns lol. He always kept his darker wings folded against him, only ever using his upper set to fly. It doesn't slow him down much since he's already gotten used to it, but he could definitely be a lot faster if he didn't. This was how he usually looked like before Lucifer and Lilith fell. He was a little mischievous, even with all of his insecurities, a sly smirk and, to Lucifer and Lilith, had the most gleeful smile. After the two fell, angels rarely ever saw him smile. Its been an eternity since Heaven's heard him laugh.

As if he could ever fully be himself in Heaven.
