By far the most challenging piece of my ExtraTerrorestrial concept art series as robots ad machinery are very challenging for me. This is S.I.R. (Simulated Intelligence Robotics). He is in the second pre-show of the ExtraTerrorestrial experience and, judging from the clips of the experience, one of the most impressive animatronics I've seen in any theme park. What makes it more impressive is that it existed in 1996. Anyway, S.I.R. is a robot that gives guests a small demonstration of X-S Tech's teleportation technology with the yellow alien Skippy as his "lucky volunteer". On the left is a recreation of the original design (to the best of my ability) and on the right is a recreation based on the latest real world humanoid robot designs. Though I like the overall frame I'm not entirely sold on the face as the original just has this sinister aesthetic too it that I absolutely love. A composite of the two might more but I'm not sure how to justify unnecessary moving mouth parts for an advance robot when a screen can project any expression imaginable.

Medical Exam

The three alien surgeons led Sonic into the OR which looked quite futuristic and when they came to the table the alien pegasus stallion told him.

Alien pegasus Surgeon: Now then get on the table and lay down on your back.

Sonic did just that as he got up on the table and laid down on its color metal surface. At least the hospital gown he was given earlier kept him warm. Soon a cover was placed over his body leading only his head exposed. Soon the overhead lights were turned on blinding Sonic a bit before the 3 surgeons came over to inspect him.

Alien Unicorn Surgeon pony: You feel comfortable now?

Sonic nodded in reply as he knew if he tried something he would be in big trouble, so he had to cooperate with them for his well-being. Soon the alien Earth Pony attacked two wires to Sonic’s face to a high tech machine and turned it on which began to beep as it was registering his heart rate and brainwave activity.

Earth Pony Surgeon: Good! Now he’s ready for sedation.

Sonic (gulps): Sedation…?!”

Soon the unicorn surgeon turned 3 diales as hissing could be heard from machine behind Sonic. Sonic looked at the unicorn pony who was on the right side of the table and said him to in a calming tone.

Unicorn Pony Surgeon: Now take nice long deep breaths.

She then used her magic to levitate a black colored anesthesia mask hooked up by black colored hoses and placed onto Sonic’s muzzle. He tried to get it off, but it was firmly on his muzzle now as oxygen and sedatives were being pumped from the machine into the mask.

Alien Pegasus surgeon: Now now don’t be afraid it will all be over soon. You won’t remember a thing.

The unicorn increased the sedatives and lowered the oxygen level as Sonic began to feel lightheaded and sleepy. His vision began to swim as he began to relax and took deep breaths from the mask. On the machine a black breathing bag expanded and shrunk with each breath Sonic took and his heart rate began to slow a bit reaching normal levels.

Unicorn Pony Surgeon: There you go. You’re doing very good. Once you drift off to twilight sleep we’ll begin to collect a few tissue samples from you. Don’t worry we’ll be very gentle. (Walks up closer to Sonic) Just close your eyes and let yourself drift off.

Sonic tried to move, but his body felt numbed, warm, and tingling. All he wanted to was to close his eyes and fall into a peaceful painless sleep. Soon his eyes began to flutter as the 3 aliens looked down at their specimen as Sonic’s vision became more distorted and couldn’t make out who was with him. At last Sonic closed his eyes still breathing from his mask as he went under anesthesia and was breathing lightly. Now the procedure can begin in extracting tissue samples from the sleeping stallion who would have no memory of what happened during the surgery.

Firstly wishing you a happy new year. Hope you are doing well.

I was reading one of your metas about Pet Project, and about that episode where the Vreedle brothers came to collect Ship, from there I got this weird thought. Given the fact that Ship can prove to be a danger, wouldn't the Plumbers come after Ship out of fear of destruction Ship can cause if it fell into the wrong hands, I know Ben, Gwen and Kevin were placed in charge of earth, but who's to say the Plumbers might not try to go after Ship.

I am asking this because I am not fully aware on the Plumbers law, but given the sub atomic energy episodes, this could be possible. Plus, that means that Julie will only be allowed to keep ship if she can vouch for it, but her word might not be considered, and Julie might even be accused of harboring alien tech illegally , so Ben, Gwen and Kevin have to vouch for it. But again, I am not sure considering Plumbers laws, hence I state this thought as weird.

I would like your thoughts on this.

You do make a good point. Julie is literally in possession of alien technology. This is undeniable. She thinks of Ship like a pet, but he most likely isn't regarded as such in the eyes of galactic law. Or at least, most of it.

I don't know how reputable Judge Domstol is since we don't know much about his background (and I mention that because we do know that Kevin knows him from his criminal days, which has some implications), but the only scene which refutes this is when Baz-l took Ben and the team to court to settle the repossession of Ship, and Domstol ruled that what Baz-l did was hire the Vreedles to "take away some kid's dog," making him ethically in the wrong. That's why Julie's allowed to keep Ship - because he's (or was, at the time) a part of Ben's team, and Ben is regarded very highly throughout the galaxy.

And if he's got the authority to have that much of a say, I would say it's not so much Julie's word, but Ben's on who is in the possession of Ship. Ship was left with Ben after Pier Pressure. Julie just so happened to take more of a liking to him because she needed some kind of powers to be relevant and Ben is already powerful enough as is.

Ultimately, if this legal debate was ever brought up again (off screen or something) then that would likely have a big influence. Ben has the authority, is trusted with the Omnitrix, and has already proven to use Galvan technology - Galvanic Mechamorph powers included - responsibly. If Ship is accepted as part of his team, the law wouldn't interfere any further. And even if Ben and Julie are broken up now, it would probably still be up to Ben who gets to keep possession of the tech.

If this is true, I think the greatest shock won’t be that extraterrestrial aliens exist, but rather how we’ll look to ourselves in comparison with what might be a civilization (or more than one) that is, to put a loosely defined phrase on it, several or a thousand social and scientific revolutions ahead of us.  

Criticism of everything that’s human is available to us without this far advanced perspective, but sustained and rigorous criticism is restricted to a minority.  The knowledge about advanced aliens (how they live, what they are, what they can do, etc.) would foist this critical eye on everyone potentially, kicking out all sorts of ground from underneath us, and propel us into disruptions we can’t yet imagine.  Or, at least that’s the summary of my thoughts on this possibility.

My Alien OC Lihio-Minaa from Trigun Anime 1995 - 2008.

Lihio is a Kootabulan scientist. Members of their telepathically gifted species can live many thousands of years. Which is why the women of her race can only conceive a child every hundred years.

In the picture you can see her in her normal alien form as well as in her human camouflage on Gunsmoke.

Lihio is very intelligent and, in addition to using her weapon, is also proficient in various fighting techniques which she has acquired over the years on her travels to different planets and cultures.

Kootabulans can live an average of 5 to 6 thousand years.

During a research mission on the planet Gunsmoke, she finally encounters the humanoid typhoon Vash the Stampede. He is so taken with the attractive Lihio that he follows her for a while like a puppy in love. The two get to know each other a little better and Lihio quickly realizes that Vash is much more than a famous gunslinger and lonely traveller.

Lihio itself is over 600 years old.

PS: I think I should also mention that the look of this character is not mine. I only reused it because I liked it so much. The original comes from Deviantart.
