Ryu Number: Albert Schweitzer
Albert Schweitzer was a German-born philosopher, theologian, and physician. His personal philosophy was based around the idea of "reverence for life": He believed that there was nothing of the objective world itself that evinced any innate meaning or ethical quality, and that the world was composed of life seeking to sustain itself, which occurred at the expense of other lives. Schweitzer proposed a system of ethics founded on a thoughtful and constant awareness of the reverence for life—all living things—from which should result the effort—through actions—to strengthen and develop it. In short: It was good to maintain and further life and it was bad to damage and destroy life, and one ought to commit to the former as much as possible while minimizing the latter as much as could be managed.
…Did I explain that all right? I don't feel like I got that all right, not really. I suspect I'm mangling the guy's principles here in some way, and I can't do a lot more than apologize. I might not have failed my philosophy classes in university, but I can't honestly say I aced them, either. Just sort of floated through while managing to keep my head above water,
Anyway, praxis manifested itself notably in his running of a hospital in French Equatorial Africa (later Gabon)—founded originally in 1913 before World War I broke out and, as a German citizen in French territory, he was removed. He returned to the hospital in 1924, and headed its operation until his death in 1965.
Yeah, all of that was really heavy, wasn't it? If you want to take a moment before crossing the readmore, I totally understand.
If you didn't already know, here's where you learn that both Ryu and Darth Vader show up as guest fighters in Brawlhalla. There's always someone who doesn't know about Brawlhalla, and I love letting them know that Brawlhalla exists. (Rayman is there too.)
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga includes a trailer for the then-upcoming Lego Indiana Jones video game. Watch it, and you can buy Indiana Jones from the shop. And then play as him, of course.
Dude's a bit clean-shaven, but it's him. He's got the whip and everything.
The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles was a TV show based on, uh, well, the chronicles of young Indiana Jones. These semi-edutainment stories would usually see Indy getting tangentially involved with real-life historical events and meeting momentarily with real-life historical figures. The episodes were later edited and released across three DVD sets as The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones, each the sets including a DVD-ROM that let you install a slightly more educational computer game version of one of the stories in the set.
Quality-wise, these games are a little, uh.
Also Indiana's really blond in these for some reason.
Still counts, though. Including the parts where questionably drawn Indiana gets to meet the various questionably drawn historical figures.
(Incidentally, for his work, Albert Schweitzer got the Nobel Peace Prize in 1952. This makes him one among a surprisingly large number of Nobel Peace Prize laureates with Ryu Numbers. Larger than you'd think, I'd mean. Or at least larger than you'd think if I asked you to guess how many Nobel Peace Prize laureates had Ryu Numbers and then told you you had only five seconds to answer.)
(It's more than ten, anyway.)

ok, I just finished mag 35 so i think it's time for another theories post! because WOW, 35 was FULL of interesting shit and the other eps haven't exactly been boring either.
jane prentiss and whatever's in her? fully separate. the "Hive" is influencing her, sure, but it's definitely NOT jane who is hanging around the archives and probably going to attack them soon. that's all hive
support for the above theory comes when michael says "the flesh hive was always rash" and then prentiss' statement talks a bunch about a Hive, and also she's pretty civil in the archive when she's still in control of her head & then wants them dead when fully infested
the Hive is one of those gods i theorize exist, like Beholding and The Lightless flame
there's a separate god for spiders (supported by when prentiss says "webs have a song, but it is not the song of the hive")
my theoretical gods? there are 13 of them. maaaaaybe 14 but i don't think so.
"oh vivi that's such a random number" no actually i'm basing that on the tunnels from mag 35! My theory is that there's a higher being for each tunnel/room. ones specifically mentioned in Harold Silvana's statement include
the bone god (possibly related to boneturner's tale but at this point just to the leitner which shows up here and in Mary Keay's possesion in pageturner (i've been calling that one shadow & bone hahaha)
the spider god
god of the dark
the stranger (this one freaks me out 👍) (harold silvana says a stranger but there's probably not more than one, so. the stranger)
Asag/The Lightless Flame
theorized to exist & mentioned by name but not mentioned as a room:
Beholding (should i call it the beholding? it's very verb-y as it is now)
the Hive
fear of heights god (??? got this one from HS talking about feeling like he was going to fall into one of the tunnels)
theorized to exist but not even really mentioned by name, just by events occurring in statements:
god of spacial distortion (see: Lost Johns' Cave, Killing Floor, Freefall (though freefall seems closer to they hypothetical fear of heights god)
god of being super fucking lonely (see: Alone, Boatswain's call)
god of fractals & patterns (see: Pageturner, Ivo Lensiks granddad from burned out, Prentiss "i'm not one of those fools chasing fractals)
meat god (see The Man Upstairs, Killing Floor)
either being stored in the creepy rooms gave the leitner books their powers, or there's one leitner per room & they all have their own specific god-related power
robert smirke (and yeah i only know it's with an e bc i googled the real guy) is going to show up again
sub-theory to the above: the Magnus Institute was, at least in part, designed by Robert Smirke. I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to also have evil tunnels or hidden rooms
sub-sub theory: that's why tim wanted to work there
the two guys who come in with a delivery at the end of mag 35? they're from breekon & hope (basis i have for this: they're 2 guys doing a delivery)
said this before but i'll put it here too: Beholding/the Beholding lives/has an interest in the Magnus Institute (because Jane Prentiss what do you MEAN "this place of sight and beholding")
dense johnny (that's what i'm calling the guy with an "odd density" too him from Do Not Open) is one of the same creatures as from Anatomy Class. i have no basis for this other than his name is John and despite claiming liverpool origin, he lacks an accent. i give this a solid 10% chance of accuracy
anyway again, sorry for such a long post in the world's most confusing format, but i wanna put these down in case i'm right! also in case i'm wildly wrong because that would be funny too
edit: it's only been a couple minutes so it's not too late to add one more
pinhole books is called that because the hole in a pin is the eye of a needle

part of child-training and of ensuring your children carry your values (no matter what those values might be) is very simple:
watch and discuss media with them.
It doesn't have to be much. but of all things do NOT watch media and then FAIL to discuss it with them.
Do not fail to point out what you disagree with in the media, and of course why. Otherwise the children will see your passivity and lack of input and go with what they know: the narrative just told to them by the screen.
If you DO have input, the children will latch onto that as warmer and more human than the screen. (Unless of course you have a bad relationship with them, at which point the children may well reject it on principle.)
Every time the media says something you disagree with, tell your children. Counter every bit of propaganda with proper education. (And I do mean proper - don't make arguments based on emotion, but on logic, fact, and especially answering the children's questions!) This way, the children will be well-educated and know the response to every point the media makes.
If you don't know yourself? Make it a family learning moment. Your children will take note of and appreciate their parents' humility and willingness to learn. It will teach your children a mindset of lifelong learning - that learning does not stop when you are an adult. That learning can be an enjoyable activity based around your interests and what's on the TV, that it can be done in community and that questions CAN be answered, that good discussion can be had.
If you take media misinformation or disinformation as your cue to promote proper education, you will have well-rounded children. This is not just about news but about media: discuss fictional narratives, portrayals, how they relate to the real world, anything you find significant or whatever comes to mind about what you're watching.
My family once took seven hours to watch a three-hour movie because we paused so much to discuss the themes, events, characters, narratives, popular perceptions, emotions, depictions, messages, etc. in the film. We finally went to bed at 3am happy, having had an excellent time of family bonding and education and learning, and still animatedly discussing our thoughts on the movie. (Except the 11-yo, the youngest present, who just wanted to watch the fight scenes. It'll take a bit longer for her to grow into it, but meanwhile she's picking up on whatever she can, and one day will want to join The Big Kids in our discussions, or will have questions, or thoughts, etc.) And of course depending on the level of abstractness of the media this can be characterized.
For example, the 11-year-old may have been bored by our discussions of the historical significances of the things portrayed in Braveheart, but it's absolutely vital to pause (or cover) that hyper-sexualized ad and explain what's problematic about it and what the proper view of sex is for someone her age.
All of this also works in reverse! We're discussing something and Dad is CONSTANTLY going "oh that reminds me of a video!" he'll pull it up and play it. Sometimes it's nothing, just something funny that occurred to him, but now he's sharing it with his kids. And sometimes it's satire or commentary or a thoughtful review or vlog relevant to the topic at hand.
Media isn't going away. Talk about it with your kids. Show them what they ought to be thinking about this or that concept when it appears. Above all, teach them critical thought.
...
and people wonder why I don't shut up about my fandoms.
why I can't help but tie all my real-world knowledge (from psychology to religion to history to narrative theory) into how I relate to it.

What would have lead to Hyrule being MORE then 10,000 years old in your timeline? Most states and cultures IRL don’t even last above several centuries at most, so I wonder what’s the reason for it’s epithet as the “Eternal Kingdom” as mentioned in one of your posts
So... the name "Eternal Kingdom" is mainly what other countries outside of the Hyrule's border called them. Since from their perspective, the Kingdom of Hyrule had a very long and unbroken rule over its lands for 10 000 years under the same name and same ruling royal family. With evidences that they do have some level of divinity to back them up.
As opposed to themselves who may have gone through cycles of change. For example, my version of Ordon - their own recorded history goes back at least 9000 years with multiple eras of different rulers, governance, disasters and significant events that shape them into their present-day state. These countries and their people don't essentially need to know Hyrule's origins and take it into account with how they view this ancient Kingdom. But as far as they are aware, Hyrule has always been there. Until the day of the Second Calamity and how that shattered Hyrule's 10K year long streak.
.
As for how old Hyrule actually is, I put an asterisk on the " 10 000 years* " since it's a bit vague and they didn't really give definite dates on when exactly certain events occurred and how far apart they happened from each other.
My interpretation of the BotW-TotK timeline is that the Founding of the Kingdom of Hyrule, the Imprisoning Wars and later the First Calamity happened WITHIN the Ancient Era of 10K. And the Age of Zonai along with precedessors of the Ancient Hyruleans existed for some time before the Kingdom's founding. (The exact number of years / dates lost or forgotten from historical records ).
At least from the standpoint of BotW/TotK's present-day. Since it happened so far back in time that its all mashed together into a blur.
Its implied that very little of recorded history from back then survived to present-day. Either because of written text being lost or destroyed, language drift (similar to how Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs were misinterpreted/untranslatable for the longest time until the Rosetta Stone discovery in 1799) or they were forgotten from living memory. Or even a combination of all above.
TL;DR - the Kingdom of Hyrule is estimated to be 10 000-ish years old in the BotW-TotK timeline, based on in-game lore and history. And because of their extreme longevity, the Kingdom is sometimes called the "Eternal Kingdom" by their neighbours.
--
Lastly, this is a rule I give to myself when it comes to worldbuilding, whether it be with the Legend of Zelda or...any fictional world I play around with.
The fictional world and their lore does not essentially have to be realistic, to our real world standards. It only needs to be believable within the rules of their fantastical universe. (Quoted by me cuz I made that up, 05 Sept 2023)
What I mean by this is that, it is okay to take inspiration from real world history, culture and people when building up your stories and the world that it is set in. How realistic you want your worlds and stories to be is completely up to you. BUT it is not essential. You can be as fantastical and mind-blowing as you want in your world and stories. As long as it is believable to the reader / player.
Hyrule being 10 000(ish) years old is frankly mind-bending and almost eldritch to think about. And that's okay. You can accept that official canon or not. And let's be honest, Nintendo is not that well-known for their lore building in their games. And the canon Zelda timeline is already a mess to follow with.
(Also do check out Overly Sarcastic Productuon's video about BotW-Hyrule and its environmental storytelling (pre-TotK release). It has influenced how I interpret this specific version of Hyrule).
Personally, realism for me is more of a source of inspiration rather than a hard rule to how my worlds work. I build my worlds to be...places that I want to explore. With that feeling of exploration to immerse people into what this world is like and their in-universe lore adds layers that can excite the imagination.
And that's the beauty of worldbuilding. You can make the most fantastical world with magic, dragons and aliens, or the most realistic world based on real life but with mechas, dinosaurs and cowboys. Because why not!
The only limitation is your own imagination and how you build it up.
TL;DR - You can worldbuild the most realistic or fantastical world as much as you want. As long as it is believable to the reader that they too can imagine your world in their own imaginations.

The Panopticon Writings (Jeremy Bentham) "The Panopticon project for a model prison obsessed the English philosopher Jeremy Bentham for almost 20 years. In the end, the project came to nothing; the Panopticon was never built. But it is precisely this that makes the Panopticon project the best exemplification of Bentham’s own theory of fictions, according to which non-existent fictitious entities can have all too real effects. There is probably no building that has stirred more philosophical controversy than Bentham’s Panopticon.
The Panopticon is not merely, as Foucault thought, “a cruel, ingenious cage”, in which subjects collaborate in their own subjection, but much more—constructing the Panopticon produces not only a prison, but also a god within it. The Panopticon is a machine which on assembly is already inhabited by a ghost. It is through the Panopticon and the closely related theory of fictions that Bentham has made his greatest impact on modern thought; above all, on the theory of power. The Panopticon writings are frequently cited, rarely read. This edition contains the complete “Panopticon Letters”, together with selections from “Panopticon Postscript I” and “Fragment on Ontology”, Bentham’s fullest account of fictions. A comprehensive introduction by Miran Bozovic explores the place of Panopticon in contemporary theoretical debate."
Veritable Records of the Joseon Dynasty (Korean scribes) "The Veritable Records of the Joseon Dynasty (Korean: 조선왕조실록 (South Korea) and 조선봉건왕조실록 (North Korea)) are the annual records of Joseon, the last royal house to rule Korea. Kept from 1392 to 1865, the annals (or sillok) comprise 1,893 volumes and are thought to be the longest continual documentation of a single dynasty in the world. With the exception of two sillok compiled during the colonial era, they are the 151st national treasure of South Korea and listed in UNESCO's Memory of the World registry. The texts are also known as the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty or the True Record of the Joseon Dynasty. They contain every event of note which occurred in the court, no matter how disturbing, unpleasant, or downright embarrassing. Some examples: -One recorder hid behind a screen, so he could secretly record people complaining about the secret recorder. -King Taejong fell from a horse and immediately told those around him not to let a recorder know about it. Both the fall and his request were promptly recorded. -On multiple occasions, imperial officials led purges of scribes and academics based on what they read of themselves in the Records. This led to access to the records being strictly monitored and controlled."

howdy, worms and germs. this is an indie rp blog dedicated to Getō Suguru and Fushiguro Megumi from Jujutsu Kaisen. my portrayal is both anime and manga based. manga events will not be spoiled.
! ! ! themes present but are not limited to: violence, gore, abandonment issues, childhood trauma, depression, mass murder, child soldiers. this is not to say all my threads and headcanons will be violent or solemn. I do enjoy the light hearted side of friendship and bonding, but the trauma of being a jujutsu sorcerer is very important in my portrayals.
also important : I do not condone Suguru's actions. this is fiction. I love delving into his psychology and motivation. I try to understand it to a point, but his actions and mentality are not a reflection of mine. I am pro villains; their accurate portrayals are interesting.
𝟎𝟎 details on megumi. 𝟎𝟎 details on suguru. 𝟎𝟏 promo. 𝟎𝟐 megumi visuals. 𝟎𝟐 suguru visuals. 𝟎𝟑 plotting call. 𝟎𝟒 memes. 𝟎𝟒 meme call. 𝟎𝟓 character study. 𝟎𝟔 alternate verses. 𝟎𝟕 introspection.
Rules are below the cut.
I’ll spare you anything long winded though these are definitely subject to change and certainly up for lengthening in the future!
— 𝟎𝟏 I run a mutuals only blog. If I follow you, I want to WRITE with you. I don’t collect followers and like to keep a tidy blog of people who interact with me. Since you’re reading this, that means you care enough to do so. I won’t bite your head off; please feel free to send memes or hit me up for a thread idea. I often clean up my follow list through soft blocks.
— 𝟎𝟐 I don’t write one liners or semis. The more you write, the more I’m inclined to reply rapidly. Quality and quantity fuel my motivation! I truly enjoy world building and scene progression, so novella length threads are sought. Plotting and winging things are equally enjoyed, however for lengthy and detailed threads ( esp crossovers ), plotting is preferred. I have a plotting call linked above.
— 𝟎𝟑 This is an 18+ blog as I am nearing my thirties. I don’t foresee posting NSFW images, but I write heavily graphic scenes thus don’t feel comfortable writing with minors. Any suggestive aesthetics or sinday memes will be tagged as " after dark .". I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, and I don’t want to make any of my followers uncomfortable. More regarding potential smut is below.
— 𝟎𝟒 I don’t have any triggers and don’t tag any triggers. Threads are generally rated M, but I can go PG-13 depending on who I am writing with. I do not shy away from violent and graphic scenes fyi; I really enjoy writing them actually! I encourage you to message me if you would like to write out something extremely graphic. Violence aside, smut may make an appearance. It is not the goal of my writing. If there's chemistry in the thread and between the writers, well ... who am I to say no. In the case of potential smut, aging up characters is fine; I know some people are sensitive about this. Smut will only occur with male characters as I am gay in real life and choose to depict Suguru and Megumi as gay, albeit not openly.
— 𝟎𝟓 When it comes to ages, I think it's vital to keep character ages canon. Yeah, JJk is great with all the lore and action, but the ages of the characters and the soul crushing and life threatening lives they live is the heart of the series. What everyone goes through as a child and as a teenager is incredibly vital. The only time I think aging up is alright is in terms of smut. Having said that, I'm not opposed to writing crushes or romances during their teens.
— 𝟎𝟔 I do moderate edits and formatting. Formatting isn’t a deal breaker with me honestly. I prefer length over pretty aesthetics. I do ask that you cut posts; I won’t be following if you don’t cut your posts or fail to tag your posts — all of your posts especially your ooc and negativity posts.
— 𝟎𝟕 Crossovers are loooooved to other animes/mangas, video games, to shows and movies. Do not be afraid to reach out with crossover ideas. I am also very much interested in AU threads especially involving Suguru since there is a lot of potential with him. So far, I have FFVII verses written up for both of the dudes. Provided interest, I will write up verses for Bleach, Castlevania, and the Witcher among other things.
— 𝟎𝟖 As stated earlier, currently I am all caught up with the manga. For those who are only watching the anime, I will not incorporate any manga elements in our threads. I do not openly discuss spoilers for the sake of other people. If I do discuss anything that may be considered a spoiler, it will be tagged as "jjk spoilers ." Headcanons and drabbles including the events of the manga will be tagged with the aforementioned tag.
— 𝟎𝟗 Regarding Suguru, it is my preference to write him just as Suguru not as Kenjaku, however I am not opposed to it for the sake of an interesting thread. On that similar note, I am happy to write Suguru as a teenager and Megumi as a little kid for any relevant threads.
— 𝟏𝟎 I encourage you to like the content you see. If you like the images, headcanons, songs I post, you are more than welcome to like them. Do not reblog my personal edits, headcanons, and even images I find and post ( still tag with art credit ) unless I have tagged you in the post. You are also welcome to tag me in posts; that would make me very happy! When it comes to memes, please reblog from the source. PLEASE.
— 𝟏𝟏 When it comes to asks/memes, I treat them as independent little snippets. Sort of like insights with some or no background information. Sometimes I write them intentionally vague because it's what comes to me at the moment. I do not treat ask responses as starters, however you are more than welcome to continue a response of mine if you like it enough! Also, I have an ask box call linked above, and you are always welcome to like and comment it whenever you want to be sent things. Seriously. You'll never pester me. You can like request ask box things 24/7.
— 𝟏𝟐 IMPORTANT — I am a firm supporter of people being able to write whatever the fuck they want. This is all fiction; people tend to forget that. I will never judge someone nor post anything to harm/bash someone for their choices. Let people write what they want just as famous writers do. There's really no difference except famous writers get paid to do so. This is a creative journey, bruh. Images used in my banner were found on an ai image website. Don't like that? Do not interact.

What if the BSD Great War...
So while doing some digging around while working on one of my many analysis projects…my brain began to create a weird rabbit hole theory that seems so crazy but it could be like 10% possible.
As we all know as members of this fandom, there was “The Great War” that occurred 15 years before the start of the running manga. Yet, we are given such little details about such a detrimental event for multiple big-name characters within the series. It makes me question why this might be the case. While I can't pick apart Asagiri to the point where I can figure out his own personal crazy thinking, I can theorize the plausibility that this war was based on a real-life historical event, given the fact that a good 90% of our cast was real people as well, with their BSD relationships reflecting large similarities as the real-life relationships between the authors.
Now that is said, here is what i came up with…WHAT IF this war we speak off is a odd play off World War II.
Don’t throw me to the wolves here, I have no clue if anyone else has thought this either… But hear out at least my breakdown:
Evidence piece number one: Basically as mentioned above, Asagiri uses historical authors and plays the switcheroo game, religiously.
What started as me just trying to figure out what chapter Yosano’s backstory began in, I came across this line in an article breaking down her experience with the war that reminded me that in true international history, WWI was considered The Great War. I stated our Great War is the second one though, but here's why I say it is indeed the second one. We know Asagiri brings in characters that influenced or knew each other in real life, but he does not keep all the facts true with a lot of rearranging of the order of ages and who mentored who, For Example, look at Dazai and Akutagawa; where in the series Aku looks up to Dazai, but in real life it was Aku that inspired Dazai. Yet on the other hand, we also know that if you were to look at the average period most of the authors came from, taking out our lovely Russian friends and a few others, the majority come from the years that are considered pre-WWII to post-WWII. So would it not make sense that he would use people who did experience wartime in real life to have experienced a similar war in this worldly universe as well, which was WWII. This brings us to the next part that looks at the question: so he switched around some things, but why would he need to do that?
Evidence piece number two: If you look at details from light novels and certain parts of our main story…the alliances between certain countries look oddly familiar.
I will not lie that I have not read these light novels in a hot minute and I've consumed a lot of other media, so my memories are a bit hazy. But from skimming plot summaries for the books “Stormbringer” and “55 Minutes”(credit to the ppl on this website that give these details) I began to notice something. There are three major groups of authors, once again taking out the Russians, we have the French (who worked in tandem with the English), the Japanese, and the unnamed Germans (besides our man Johann who is mentioned in 55 minutes, I believe). Now pair the countries with how the events played out with the relaying of information about the singularity research, the research that is considered to be one of the major reasons the Great War had even begun, the pairing between countries reflected eerily familiar to the allied and axis powers during the real WWII. The timeline that I have worked it out to be is Germany theorized it first then stolen by France, who succeeded, then stolen again by Germany, and then handed over to Japan, who then also succeeded.
Evidence number three: Comparing the facts to WWII and the descriptions we receive from the characters in Bungo about the Great War, there are a lot of indirect overlaps.
Since Asagiri made it that out of any event of the series prior to the start of the running manga, he chose the Great War to have the least amount of number facts to its name. Yet, by looking at how the great war within the series is described by the characters who experienced it and then looking at the basic facts about WWII as well, the "events" of Bungo's war are quite familiar. I will say that history was never a class I paid close attention to at any point in my life, but Wikipedia is helping the case here. Whether it is the fact they focus on how it was filled with science and technology advances that led to the deadliest parts of the war. Or the fact that islands played a huge role in many events from the war. There are just enough overlaps for me to consider this as evidence.
And more recently discovered...evidence number four: The book that inspired Asagiri to even create bungo stray dogs was, you can guess, related to WWII.
While I was looking into the career paths that Asagiri had before he became an author, it was mentioned that a book by the late author Shusaku Endo named Ryugaku, which is set post WWII. There are also similarities between the countries used during the great war in Europe and the countries mentioned in this book. This book, combined with Dazai's own novel that also inspired him, gives great sway to the time frame Bungo is actually set in.
Overall all of this could be my delusions doing its delusion things, but I do believe that I can fancy my brain for one minute. Thanks if you decided to read all the way through!

I’m making this post to establish how my PokeMedia Character(s) see the timeline of the Pokémon world. For it I’m taking most remakes over the originals except for Let’s Go (Absolutely Janked) and BDSP (Because they’re near identical to DPP so it makes no difference).
This timeline operates off of 3 major assumptions:
1. The events of Scarlet and Violet as well as present and upcoming DLC have happened recently/within the last year.
2. Scarlet and Violet, Sword and Shield, and Sun and Moon are all approximately one year apart.
3. The “few years” between HGSS/DPP and Black and White is 3 years.
Additionally a handful of events are assigned arbitrary timeframes such as “some” or “several” or are given real world dates because Gen 1. These are also assumed and will be marked with a !, but remain consistent with each other.
After that, everything is based off of the game timeline developed by Bulbapedia, with slight adjustments made to fit the base assumptions set above.

ScVi+DLC - Within the last year
SwSh+DLC - One Year ago
SuMo - Two Years ago

#OnlyOnOneNETnews: The Astonishing Prediction from 'Totally Spies' that came true with American tech independent streaming giant 'Apple TV+'
(Written by Ridley Terrance / Contributed News Writer of OneNETnews & Master Control for ONC)
MALIBU, CALIFORNIA -- Re-living the moments of the beloved French-Canadian animated series "Totally Spies" reveals an intriguing prediction on a 5th season finale made over a decade ago.
In the episode entitled "Totally Dunzo", which was aired as a 2-parter on February 3rd and 10th, 2008 in France on Sundays, and later internationally aired for global syndication in the early March this said year, the authors have placed a barely noticeable store sign with a simple word "TV+", nearly at the 18th minute mark. Fast forward to November 2019, when a new tech streaming giant 'Apple' launched its highly anticipated American streaming service 'Apple TV+', marking an uncanny prediction made by the show's creator duos between 'Vincent Chalvon-Demersay' and 'David Michel'.
Many of these individuals or observers as audience on national television have drawn comparisons between this foresight and the prophetic qualities of "The Simpsons", highlighting the notable similarities between the two. The animated series is well-known for its ability to predict future events with remarkable precision. However, the prediction from "Totally Spies" concerning the future of its said American tech streaming giant is even more astonishing, given that it was made years ahead of the legal paid service's actual launch that many consumers in the industry of streaming are all going digital.
For those of us who do not know when no one is seriously talking about, aside from both cartoon shows for legitimate prediction points… "Totally Spies!" is a spy-themed French-Canadian animated cartoon series following 3 teenage college girls of Malibu University are all named Ms. Samantha Simpson, Clover Ewing and Alexandra Vasquez (known as Alex, Sam and Clover, in short), who were worked together as secret agents at WHOOP (The World Organization of Human Protection). It is the blend of action, gags and gadgets, that showers an appeal to both kids and teens. Through past seasons, the spies use their skills to track down and investigate criminal cases. It balances serious spy missions with everyday teenage life in California.
"The Simpsons" on the other hand, is a long-running adult animated sitcom created by 'Matthew Abram Groening', known for its satirical take on American culture, family dynamics and social issues. Set in the fictional town of Springfield, Wyoming; the series features characters with distinctive yellow skin and primarily appeals to an older demographic with its irreverent humor. Interestingly, some prediction events may possibly come true but do turn out anywhere between a few to several years time. It's like you're watching a future weather forecast right before your very eyes. Not all of those are satirical about some events that are connected with predictions; it may be changed later on according to the story, as the show requires in its episodes.
The timing is eerily similar to the prediction in "Totally Dunzo". So, I asked myself on our news team of OneNETnews. Did the show's creators possess some mystical foresight? Or was it just a coincidence?
You see, real-world events occured to predict the reality or fiction, and is no laughing matter. From the presidency of 'Donald John Trump' for upcoming re-election, to the discovery of the Higgs boson particle; the show's track record on these was surprisingly accurate.
But how did the authors of "Totally Spies" envision this technological shift? Entertainment insiders, both local and within the fan base, say these writers from France, Canada, and the United States of America were actually pretty detailed-oriented guys who often wrote subtly indicative messages into their storylines.
The above-mentioned episode airing title coincides with a time when high-definition television sets was gaining popularity, and online streaming was starting to emerge as a viable alternative to traditional cable and satellite television in some supported providers like 'Spectrum'.
While it cannot be known for sure if the people behind "Totally Spies" put this prophecy in on purpose or if it was just an accident, older or newer generations of the show keep wondering what other secrets might be hiding in the episodes for once in a lifetime. There is also a moment when the background characters are walking on the road in some sort of apparent marching band, which is totally unrelated to the prediction. However, some have speculated that it actually could be more important than one may think at first glance.
In conclusion, the prediction of Apple TV+ in the 5th season finale of "Totally Spies" stands as an impressive example of foresight and creativity. The uncanny prediction in "Totally Dunzo" has sparked renewed interest in the show, merely inspired by 'The Simpsons' and its potential for revealing hidden truths about the future.
As we continue to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of technology and media, it is fascinating to reflect on how even animated series on both sides can provide valuable insights into the future.

The End Times vs The Last Days of The Bible
By: Anthony Joseph Hopkins

Good Day Everyone!! This is a comparison and contrast paper that is based on the End of Times vs The Last Days. I would like to start things off by asking everyone a very important question.
What do we mean by the End Times and the Last Days? The first thing that comes to mind is the end of the world. It literally scares me because I would not want all of this to come to an end. I know that the Son of Man, who is Jesus Christ is coming soon. We have to be patient and wait on Him. I am doing just that right now. I am waiting on the Lord.

Next, I am patiently waiting on Him by maintaining my faith in the Lord. My name is Anthony Joseph Hopkins and I am from Dayton, Ohio. I am placing emphasis on the End Times vs The Last Days. When it comes to the End Times, Jesus was talking to His Disciples by letting them know that the end is not here. When it comes to Matthew’s Interpretation of the End of Times, his account is very specific. There are Greek and Hebrew interpretations when it comes to the very end. At least, for me, I am looking for additional insight when it comes to the very end of the system of things. Every time I read the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, my thinking tends to change. This is because Matthew was very specific about the things that Jesus Christ has said to the Disciples that they must do these things.

Further, I want to say that I am utilizing all four Gospels so that I can receive a dialogue among my colleagues and members of the General Public. Honestly, what is being said by the Disciples has made me more aware of my surroundings and the people that is inside of it. I also have to pay real attention to my behavior. I know that I am trying to explain some things that are happening right now, and the things to come.

I have to become fully aware of the things that in the above image. I know that there will be false Christs, False Prophets, Earthquakes, Wars, Rumors of Wars, Nation vs Nation, and Kingdoms vs Kingdoms. I am aware of earthquakes in the State of Ohio this year as well as 15 Tornadoes in the Dayton, Ohio Area. These are the things that are happening right now, and the Last Days are forthcoming. To be frank with everyone, both of these events are happening simultaneously.

The image that I have posted right now is from The Rapture. I have seen things that have occurred in my 59 years of existence, and it has changed tremendously since 1980.
This information itself has also been talked about in the Old Testament. I want to say that every time I read the Book of Isaiah, Daniel, and Micah, it has been talked about in advance. I am very apprehensive not about the present, but the future. I get the impression that this is going to get worse before it gets better.

Moreover, I only wish that I can see the Lord for myself. I do not have any doubts about my faith in the Lord. Like they say, nothing last forever. I realize that this is a very long paper, but I feel confident in my attempts to come to a swift conclusion. When it comes to the End Times, family members will kill family members as well. Brother will go against brother; whereas sisters will go against each other as well. I know that I have to do my very best to live for the Lord Jesus Christ. I am not perfect, but I will say that I am living for Him.

In Addition, I want to say that Mark 13th Chapter is a repeat of what Jesus Christ told His Disciples regarding the End of Times. There will be random acts of violence everywhere worldwide. Mark 13th Chapter is written differently. I get the impression that the audience that this is written for is different.

For False Christs and False Prophets shall rise and show signs and wonders to try to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. Members of the Church will be confused by these people who claim to be Prophets and a Christ that is fake. This is the reason why I am reading the Bible and observing the things with my eyes to see for myself.

Finally, I want to mention the Last Days because I have spent too much time on the End of Times. The Last Days are going to be much worse than the End Times. This means that everything that is mentioned inside of the Bible will take place. I know that for me personally, I want to see the Lord for myself.

It really scares me to see creatures that are dwelling among the people of the earth to destroy them. I am very apprehensive because if I see a creature that is abnormal dwelling inside of this earth, it would really frighten me. If it is inside of the Bible, God will have to allow me to survive all of these things.

In Conclusion, I am praying that I will survive all of this. I know for myself that the second coming of Jesus Christ will be a glorious appearance. My prayer is that I can see the Lord for myself. All of what I have been reading as of late has completely changed me for the better. When it comes to the Last Days, things are going to be so bad that the safest place to be at is inside of the Church. There are times when people lock the doors of the Church. There is a profound fear that people are going to change for the worse.

In Summary, I want to inform all of you that we are living inside of a changing society. I want to say that Jesus Presence is apparent to me and for everyone. In reference to the End Times and the Last Days, I have to watch and be very careful of people, places, and things.

Complete Guide to Inflation: Everything You Need to Know in 2024

Inflation affects everything—from the price of groceries to your stock market returns. Understanding inflation is crucial, especially for investors, businesses, and everyday consumers. This guide breaks it all down with real-world examples, expert research, and strategies to protect your money.
What is Inflation and Why Should You Care?
Inflation is the rise in the general price level of goods and services over time. It reduces your purchasing power, meaning you can buy less with the same amount of money.
Real-World Example (India):
In 2013, ₹100 could buy you 5 liters of milk in India. In 2024, the same ₹100 barely gets you 2.5 liters due to inflation.
Key Metrics That Measure Inflation
Consumer Price Index (CPI) – Measures retail inflation based on household consumption.
Wholesale Price Index (WPI) – Tracks price changes at the wholesale level.
Core Inflation – Excludes volatile items like food and fuel to show long-term trends.
According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), India’s CPI inflation averaged 6.5% in 2022, above the central bank’s target of 4%.
Types of Inflation: Not All Inflation is the Same
1. Demand-Pull Inflation
When demand for goods outpaces supply, prices rise. This happens during economic booms.
📌 Example: During the 2020-21 pandemic, stock markets soared, but supply chains were broken. As a result, car prices surged due to chip shortages.
2. Cost-Push Inflation
When production costs rise, businesses increase prices to maintain profits.
📌 Example: In 2022, crude oil prices skyrocketed to $120 per barrel, causing petrol prices in India to breach ₹100 per liter.
3. Stagflation (Worst-Case Scenario)
Stagflation is when high inflation + low growth + rising unemployment occur together.
📌 Historical Example: In the 1970s, the U.S. suffered stagflation due to an oil crisis and policy mismanagement.
4. Hyperinflation
Extremely high inflation leads to a currency losing its value rapidly.
📌 Case Study: Zimbabwe (2008) Zimbabwe’s inflation rate hit 89.7 sextillion percent, making its currency worthless.
What Causes Inflation? Understanding the Root Factors
1️⃣ Increase in Money Supply – Printing excess money devalues currency. 2️⃣ Supply Chain Disruptions – COVID-19 lockdowns led to supply shortages. 3️⃣ Government Spending – High fiscal deficits drive inflation. 4️⃣ Global Events – War, pandemics, and trade restrictions affect inflation.
📌 Example: Indian Stock Market & Inflation In 2022, high inflation and interest rate hikes led to a 12% fall in NIFTY 50 as investors feared reduced corporate earnings.
Inflation vs. Deflation vs. Stagflation: What’s the Difference?
📌 Example: Deflation in Japan (1990s)
Japan faced low demand and falling prices for a decade, leading to an economic slowdown.
How Central Banks Like RBI Control Inflation
1. Interest Rate Adjustments
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) adjusts the repo rate to control inflation.
📌 Example:
In 2022, RBI raised the repo rate from 4% to 6.5% to tame inflation.
This made loans expensive, reducing spending and slowing inflation.
2. Open Market Operations (OMO)
RBI buys or sells government bonds to regulate liquidity in the economy.
3. Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR) Changes
Banks must hold a percentage of deposits as reserves. Increasing the CRR reduces lending, slowing inflation.
📌 Did You Know? In 2008, RBI lowered CRR from 9% to 5% to boost liquidity during the financial crisis.
How Inflation Affects Your Savings, Investments, and Expenses
1. Stock Market & Inflation
Inflation reduces corporate profits, causing stock market volatility.
Growth stocks (like tech companies) suffer more than value stocks during high inflation.
📌 Example: Indian Stock Market In 2022, inflation concerns led to a 20% drop in NIFTY IT stocks, while defensive sectors like FMCG gained.
2. Real Estate as an Inflation Hedge
Property prices tend to rise with inflation.
Rental income also increases, making real estate a good hedge.
📌 Example: India’s Real Estate Boom In Mumbai, property prices surged 15% in 2023 due to rising inflation and demand.
3. Gold & Inflation
Gold retains value and is a preferred hedge against inflation.
📌 Gold Price Trend (India):
2020: ₹45,000 per 10 grams
2023: ₹62,000 per 10 grams (due to inflation fears)
4. Cryptocurrency & Inflation
Bitcoin is often called "digital gold" but remains highly volatile.
📌 Example: In 2021, Bitcoin surged to $69,000 as investors looked for inflation hedges.
Inflation Around the World: Major Case Studies
🇮🇳 India’s Inflation Trends
2022: CPI Inflation at 6.5% (above RBI’s comfort level).
2023: RBI’s aggressive rate hikes brought it down to 5.7%.
🇺🇸 U.S. Inflation Crisis (2022-23)
Inflation peaked at 9.1% in June 2022, the highest in 40 years.
The Federal Reserve raised rates aggressively, slowing inflation to 3% by 2023.
🇦🇷 Argentina: Inflation at 100%+
In 2023, Argentina’s inflation surpassed 120%, causing a currency crisis.
How to Protect Yourself from Inflation: Smart Strategies
1️⃣ Invest in Stocks That Benefit from Inflation
Sectors like FMCG, pharma, and utilities perform well.
Use Strike.money for advanced stock charting and inflation impact analysis.
2️⃣ Diversify with Gold & Bonds
Buy Sovereign Gold Bonds (SGBs) for inflation protection.
Invest in Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) for fixed income security.
3️⃣ Hold Cash in High-Yield Accounts
Fixed Deposits (FDs) and inflation-beating debt funds are safer options.
📌 Example: In 2023, banks like SBI & HDFC offered FD rates of 7%, helping savers beat inflation.
Future of Inflation: What’s Next in 2024 & Beyond?
📊 Experts Predict:
RBI aims to keep inflation around 4%.
Interest rates may stabilize, benefiting stock markets.
Global oil prices & supply chain recovery will influence inflation.
📌 Investor Strategy for 2024:
Stay diversified (stocks, real estate, gold).

Anomaly detection in machine learning

Detecting aberrant data, or outliers, in bigger data sets with possible insights into company activity is vital for uncovering inefficiencies, infrequent events, the core cause of difficulties, or operational improvements. What is an anomaly and why is detection important?
Anomalies differ by company and function. Definition of “normal” patterns and metrics based on business operations and goals and identification of data points outside of an operation’s typical behavior is anomaly detection. For instance, heavy website or app traffic for a certain period may indicate a cybersecurity threat, therefore you’d want a system that instantly warns you to fraud. It could also indicate a successful marketing campaign. Knowing and interpreting anomalies and having data to contextualize them is crucial to understanding and safeguarding your business.
IT departments working in data science must make sense of growing and changing data. This blog will discuss how machine learning and artificial intelligence are used to detect abnormal activity using supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised methods.
Supervised learning Supervised learning detects anomalies using real-world input and output data. These anomaly detection systems require data analysts to categorize data points as normal or abnormal for training. A machine learning model trained with labeled data may identify outliers from examples. This type of machine learning can detect known outliers but not unexpected abnormalities or future difficulties.
Common supervised machine learning algorithms:
KNN algorithm: This anomaly detection approach uses density-based classifiers or regression modeling. Regression modeling determines the link between labeled and variable data. The idea is that similar data points will be close together. Anomalies occur when data points are farther from dense sections.
LOF: Local outlier factor KNN and local outlier factor are density-based algorithms. KNN develops assumptions based on data points closest together, while LOF draws conclusions from data points farthest apart.
Unsupervised learning Unsupervised learning can handle complex data sets without labels. Unsupervised learning uses deep learning and neural networks or auto encoders that replicate biological neuron signals. These strong techniques may identify patterns in raw data and assume normality.
These methods can help find anomalies and reduce laborious combing through enormous data sets. However, data scientists should monitor unsupervised learning outputs. Because these methods make assumptions about incoming data, they may mislabel abnormalities.
For unstructured data, machine learning algorithms include:
K-means: This data visualization technology clusters comparable data points using a mathematical equation. Means, or average data, are the cluster center points that all other data is associated to. Data analysis can reveal patterns and insights from unusual data using these clusters.
Isolation forest: The isolation forest algorithm detects anomalies using unsupervised data. Unlike supervised anomaly detection, which starts with labeled normal data points, this method isolates abnormalities first. Like a “random forest,” it builds “decision trees” that map data points and randomly select a region to study. Repeating this method gives each point an anomaly score between 0 and 1 based on its proximity to the others; values below.5 are regarded typical, but levels above that threshold are odd. Scikit-learn, a free Python machine learning package, has isolation forest models.
One-class support vector machine (SVM): This anomaly detection method defines normality using training data. Clusters within the defined borders are typical, whereas those outside are abnormalities.
Semi-supervised learning Semi-supervised anomaly detection approaches combine the benefits of the preceding two. Engineers can automate feature learning and work with unstructured data using unsupervised learning. By combining it with human supervision, they can monitor and regulate model learning processes. This frequently improves model predictions.
Linear regression: This predictive machine learning tool uses dependent and independent variables. Using statistical equations, the dependent variable is calculated from the independent variable. When just some information is known, these equations predict future outcomes using labeled and unlabeled data.
Use scenarios for anomaly detection Anomaly detection helps businesses across industries perform. Data type and operational challenge determine the employment of supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised learning techniques. Use cases for anomaly detection include:
Supervised learning applications: Retail Labeled data from last year’s sales can anticipate future goals. It can also set sales personnel benchmarks based on prior performance and company needs. Patterns can reveal product, marketing, and seasonality as all sales data is known.
A weather forecast Using historical data, supervised learning algorithms can forecast weather trends. Recent barometric pressure, temperature, and wind speed data helps meteorologists make more accurate forecasts that account for changing conditions.
Unsupervised learning is use cases Intrusion detection system These software or hardware devices monitor network traffic for security breaches or criminal behavior. Machine learning algorithms can detect real-time network threats, protecting user data and system functioning.
These algorithms can visualize typical performance using time series data, which analyzes data points at defined intervals throughout time. Network traffic spikes or unusual patterns can be highlighted as security risks.
Manufacturing Manufacturing products, optimizing quality assurance, and managing supply networks require effective machinery operation. Unsupervised learning systems can forecast equipment failures using unlabeled sensor data. Companies can fix before a severe breakdown, decreasing equipment downtime.
Medical application cases for semi-supervised learning Medical Medical experts can categorize diseased photographs using machine learning techniques. However, visuals differ from person to person, making it impossible to categorize all potential issues. Once trained, these algorithms can process patient data, infer from unlabeled photos, and identify issues.
Fraud detection Predictive algorithms can detect fraud using semi-supervised learning using labeled and unlabeled data. Labeled credit card transactions can reveal strange purchasing trends.
Fraud detection solutions can also make inferences based on user activity, such as location, log-in device, and other unlabeled data.
Observability in anomaly detection Tools that make performance data more visible enhance anomaly detection. These tools assist prevent and fix abnormalities by identifying them immediately. IBM Instana Observability uses AI and machine learning to provide team members with a comprehensive performance data view, enabling mistake prediction and proactive troubleshooting.
IBM Watsonx.ai is a strong generative AI tool that can analyze massive data sets and provide valuable insights. IBM Watson.ai can quickly and thoroughly analyze data to find patterns and trends that can be used to spot anomalies and anticipate future outliers. Watson.ai serves several business needs across industries.

Unlocking the Secret Behavior of the Forex Market: A Path to Trading Success
The world of forex trading is filled with complexity and uncertainty. Many traders often find themselves struggling to gain an edge in this competitive arena. However, there is a hidden gem of knowledge that could potentially change the game for traders and elevate them into the elite 5% who truly understand the market's behavior. In this article, we will delve into the secret behavior of the forex market, a technique that could significantly improve your trading outcomes.
Understanding Market Behavior
To understand the secret behavior of the forex market, we must first look at currency pairs' historical data. This technique, developed by trading expert Andrea Unger, involves backtesting specific rules to decipher the behavior of different currency pairs. By doing so, we can identify patterns that may not be apparent through conventional analysis.
Here are the rules for conducting this backtest:
When a currency pair breaks above the previous week's high, consider going long.
Stay in a long position until the price breaks below the previous week's low, then switch to a short position.
Remain in a short position until the price breaks above the previous week's high, then revert to a long position.
Rinse and repeat.
These rules provide a systematic approach to understanding market behavior, and they can be adapted to different time frames, such as daily or weekly. The key idea is to identify whether a currency pair exhibits trending or reversal behavior.
Trending and Reversal Currency Pairs
Not all currency pairs behave the same way. Some exhibit strong trends, while others tend to reverse direction. By categorizing currency pairs based on their behavior, traders can make more informed decisions. Here are examples of trending and reversal currency pairs:
Trending Currency Pairs:
GBP/JPY
AUD/JPY
USD/TRY
Reversal Currency Pairs:
AUD/CAD
GBP/CAD
USD/CAD
Understanding the behavior of these currency pairs is a valuable tool in a trader's arsenal. It allows them to align their strategies with the prevailing market conditions.
Putting Knowledge into Practice
Now that we have insight into currency pairs' behavior, let's explore how to apply this knowledge in real-world trading scenarios. We'll use the Moving Average Excess Return Expectancy (MAEE) formula in conjunction with the behavior of currency pairs to make informed trading decisions.
Example 1: AUD/CAD (8-Hour Time Frame)
AUD/CAD is in a downtrend, characterized by lower highs and lows. After a pullback to previous support-turned-resistance, it breaks above the previous week's high. Since AUD/CAD is a reversal currency pair, there's potential for a downward reversal. A bearish engulfing pattern confirms the entry trigger, signaling that sellers are in control. This prompts a short position on the next candle open.
Example 2: GBP/CAD (8-Hour Time Frame)
GBP/CAD is in an uptrend, marked by higher highs and lows. A pullback to previous resistance-turned-support occurs, followed by a break below the previous week's low. As GBP/CAD is a reversal currency pair, there's a possibility of an upward reversal. A bullish close, with the price moving above support, serves as the entry trigger for a long position on the next candle open.
Example 3: USD/TRY (Weekly Time Frame)
USD/TRY is in an uptrend, displaying higher highs and lows. After a pullback to previous resistance that now acts as support, a strong bullish close confirms the entry trigger. Since USD/TRY is a trending currency pair, a buy stop order above the previous week's high can be placed. This strategy capitalizes on the likelihood of the price continuing its upward trajectory.
The Role of Forex News
A critical question arises: should traders pay attention to forex news? The answer depends on their trading approach. Traders operating on longer time frames, such as 4-hour or daily, may not need to be overly concerned about news events. Their larger stop losses can withstand market volatility triggered by news releases. However, for those trading on shorter time frames (e.g., 1 hour or below), keeping an eye on news releases is essential. Major news events can lead to sudden market spikes, potentially triggering stop-loss orders.
In conclusion, understanding the secret behavior of the forex market can be a game-changer for traders. By categorizing currency pairs based on their behavior and combining this knowledge with technical analysis, traders can enhance their trading strategies. Whether you choose to pay attention to forex news or not depends on your trading style and risk tolerance. Armed with these insights, you're better prepared to navigate the dynamic world of forex trading and increase your odds of success.

How WATER Reveals Sleep Dynamics and Levels of Wakefulness 1
How WATER Reveals Sleep Dynamics and Levels of Wakefulness 1
Thursday afternoon, 28 September 2023
For over 50 years, water has remained my most reliable signifier of specific physiological responses to sleep and, when awake, my level of sleepiness in contrast to wakefulness. Attributes of water, including images, sounds, and sensations, have occurred several times throughout every sleep cycle since childhood. The following list is incomplete but includes some of my most fundamental signifiers in no particular order.
The pothole trope (which sometimes morphs into a rock pool when anticipating entry into deeper sleep, based on how much real-world physical activity I had engaged in that day and how physically relaxed I had become by this point): Occurring every sleep cycle all my life, this marks an otherwise undefined transition into post-hypnagogic sleep, where the first staging is always the "loss of leg mobility" event. The contrast is that when the illusion of my foot (or feet) slipping forward while walking and falling backward as if kicking an unseen ball (or kicking and missing) and rapidly waking with leg myoclonus, I do not perceive it as stepping into a pothole (though which would otherwise impede or halt viable mobility in a real-world scenario regarding both legs and moving vehicles).
Water lowering over time: This common dreaming trope usually only occurs during the outcome of my last dream of a sleep cycle and signifies my intuitively cast anticipation of leaving my sleep cycle. I became aware of the causality of this waking trope at age 5.
Parallelism: Water lowering after a flood and seeing a statue "coming to life": A parallelism is when two intuitive sleep cycle responses simultaneously occur. Water lowering and a statue moving or "coming to life" mean the same thing - simply that I am exiting my sleep cycle to attain real-world mobility. Parallelisms are more likely to occur during a lengthier dream state engagement with precursory liminality (when I am more aware of sustained sleep cycle dynamics between dreaming and waking and thus spontaneously cast more than one signifier to initiate protoconsciousness or “come to my senses”).
Someone sleeping underwater, typically a girl (including Naiads): This regularly occurring trope holds residual associations with the Naiad factor - water as my usual induction into sleep and my absence of real-world emotions (the sound of water used as such to “cure insomnia”, decrease emotions, or induce sleep on virtually countless commercial recordings) including (expectation of) eventual slow-wave sleep (or so-called “deep” or “dreamless” sleep). It simply means I am asleep in the dream state. My level of whatever concern I might have about this event depends solely on my depth of sleep and its corresponding mentation. For example, wariness or concern about a person sleeping underwater would be more present when I am further away from consciousness or protoconsciousness.
Waterfall: Waterfalls feature when I am intuitively aware of imaginary kinesthesia or its possibility (not necessarily with myoclonus, the illusion of falling, or a "sleep start"), which is the false sensation of movement caused by vestibular ambiguity because of natural REM atonia dynamics, a predominant causality factor of dream content.
Being suspended near the top of a waterfall reveals specific dynamics of REM atonia. (I learned this in 1972.) "An unfamiliar and unknown man remains, horizontally oriented (matching my sleeping position), from within a waterfall, protruding outward from above the waist." This scene signified that, although REM atonia was still a factor in my leg immobility, I had some potential or precursory mobility above my waist in anticipation of being closer to consciousness. Ultimately, this would correspond with a physiological induction of arm mobility. In the second half of my sleep cycle, it most often comes before leg mobility (while loss of leg mobility, followed by loss of arm mobility, occurs in the first half of my sleep cycle).
The Dam: At age 12, I wanted to learn how seeing the same images all day while repeatedly reading the same text affected dreaming. I read the same "Little Dot" comic book from that morning until I went to sleep, trying to ignore my real-world environment as much as possible. In the middle of the night, I saw a vivid scene in the form of a comic book panel (unrelated to any of the comic book's stories and without any text) of Little Dot and Little Lotta standing together in a rural area while looking at a dam with vague concern. The colorful drawing implied a small amount of water trickling over the top of the dam. I realize this signified my lack of more restful sleep, with "overactive" proto-cognizance (while sleeping) from reading all day (and my level of residual boredom). The dam indicated the "blocking" of water-based sleep dynamics around the middle of my sleep cycle. Dams, being a type of wall, are a virtual barrier between changes in sleep cycle dynamics and otherwise occasionally develop from my intuitive navigation of predictable and self-evident REM sleep (and REM atonia) responses.
I will elaborate on more specific types of my sleep cycle responses with the water signifier on future pages, revealing details that measure sleep dynamics to a higher (and more traceable or self-evident) level.
