also i have been struggling with bearn as a character and what he's meant to be like doing aside from giving eder's quest stuff to do that' not just finding out a person from his past's fate 2 but i think if he's read as like a stand-in for woden, who eder can try to save this time, it kind of works for me. and whether he's saved, dies, or is revived but rejects eder can represent how eder should approach that aspect of his past. this is probably not at all a novel reading and i'm late to the party but yeah

Tumblr media
ᴹⁱᶻᵘ ʷⁱᵗʰ ᵃ ᵍᵒᵗʰ ᵖᵃʳᵗⁿᵉʳ!
I Imagine that she’s very infatuated with you.
Obviously now, being goth is incredibly shamed upon. So you dressing the way you do during this period is definitely brave.
She most definitely appreciates your sense of style but also might be confused.
She probably wouldn’t understand why you dress the way you do, she might not even be very interested in the music you listen to.
She’s definitely more open than other people are, as she’s been through hate and such herself!
I Imagine she is very supportive of you and will try and get into this genre of music if you two are dating.
I honestly think she would enjoy romantic goth music if you make her listen to it enough.
Doing her makeup would be a fun activity for you both when you’re alone together.
She’s also very comfortable with you.
She knows you most likely have been laughed at, threatened, maybe all of the above.
She has too, and she understands.
“I- uh.. is this necessary?” Mizu complains, moving her face away from your hand. You’re currently doing her eyeliner, highly exaggerated and you’ve been working for almost 15 minutes on one eye. Wiping off and redoing many mistakes.
“You said it would be fine if I did this, please don’t back out now! All my hard work would go to waste Mizu.” You say back to her, moving her face back to where it was before. You steady your wrist on the bottom side of her face and continue with her eyeliner. She sighs dramatically, but rests her eyes after a bit, giving you a much better experience.
You finish a bit later and give her a mirror.
“So? What do you think?” You ask her, holding up the in front of her face as she opens her eyes.
“It’s..different. But I suppose I could get used to this.” She softly grabs the mirror out of your hands and places it down. She cups your face and smiles at you. “Thank you for this.” She kisses your cheek and leans into your neck.
“You’re welcome..also please don’t smudge it. It was a lot of work!”

AIGHT JUST HAD THE TIME TO MAKE THIS POST BUT ANYWAYYYYYY-
from my previous post I talked about how IW is talking about a Third, which a lot speculated as Sydney being the Third - which is understandable due to IW having unique text about Sydney (which is a lot compared to the other LI). If you don't know, here's what IW say in reference to Sydney (taken from the game's code in github)
Tumblr media
But in the same code the Third text can only be triggered with an Awareness of 900, along with other texts that have vague mentions of the two entities (Auriga : trail (as one of Auriga's title is blazing chariot that's probably what it meant) & Virgo : six (six arms, six wings, you get the gist))
Tumblr media
With that in mind, Sydney is definitely out of the question for being the Third, and the curious presence from the prayer room is in!
You're probably asking who tf is that- well it's something you can encounter in the prayer room once you're a member of the temple! It's a very low chance, but there's a designated necklace for it to gain 10% to meet it - which is still low but still! Here's the scene once you meet it!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now moving forward, the reason why I truly believe that the curious presence is the Third IW mentions because whenever there's mentions of Auriga and Virgo there would also be a mention of the curious presence! Two examples for this is the prayer room and looking at the sky from the telescope at GH's tower. Here's Auriga and Virgo! (there's a change in text if your soft world corruption is above 50 or more! and i unfortunately have a shit ton)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Unfortunately I don't have a picture for the third scene but i did copy the text in the game's code so here!
You spot a shape you aren't familiar with. It doesn't match any constellations you know, but there's unmistakably a pattern present. It feels as though someone has made a horrible mistake, and something has been moved from its intended position. You feel dizzy, yet warm. When you try to focus again, the pattern is gone.
And all of this scenes can be triggered by wearing the designated necklace which are: holy, dark and stone pendant. The pictures are courtesy to the wiki.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I'm sure you can already guess which entities the necklaces triggers. It also has some dialogue from Sydney if you're wearing it when talking to them in the library! (nothing to special! dark pendant has Sydney spacing out, holy pendant ofc has syndey saying how safe they feel wearing it, while the stone pendant has sydney who looks interested at the necklace and mentions how they've seen it before <- all of this is from pure/neutral sydney! i have no idea what the difference will be except corrupt syd will say that they still wear their holy pendant despite everything iirc)
Here's also a screenshot from Purityguy which is really solidifying my claim.
Tumblr media
Also if you guys didn't connect the dots already, Auriga and Virgo is a real life constellations. And Purityguy said that we can find out what the curious presence's name is from the screenshot above.
Tumblr media
Basing on the screenshots and lore in game the third/curious presence is a forgotten being from a really old religion. There isn't any more details we can get except the fact that IW might have some knowledge due to it being old as fuck and the only scenes (that i know of) is in the prayer room and the telescope.
After all this, it really makes sense why IW says the Third remains unfound. The two entities having followers/worshippers while the other one has been forgotten about as time passes.
I still haven't figured out what IW meant by the 'Until the Sands run dry' text but it's probably referring to the third/curious presence atp.
That's all I managed to brainstormed. Honestly, I put too much effort in dissecting the lore then I do in anything.... god

Part Two
⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷†⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷
Jouska: Noun. A hypothetical conversation that you compulsively play out in your head.
⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷†⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷
Something and nothing at all has changed since that night.
"Hi, Wednesday."
Wednesday's eyes catch yours as she watches you flanked by two gorgon girls. You've got a white stick of a lollipop hanging in your mouth at the side, the grape confection already finished, but you don't like littering (unlike some of these other heathens at the academy).
Wednesday doesn't say anything back, but she does slow her walking down subtly, her brows relaxes and expression neutral as she looks at you. A nod of acknowledgment is all that is needed to satisfy you as you smile at her before looking away.
It's been like that since that night—the same acknowledgment, and it's all Wednesday can think about.
They've bonded, haven't they? Enid certainly said so. And if that was the case, why were you the same distance away?
Wednesday can only think back to that night.
"Black wings are the mark of a night faerie."
Wednesday doesn't rush her response. This was one of those moments, the one Enid was constantly telling her to be delicate about.
The right words—Wednesday needed the right words.
It reminded her of when she first encountered the photo of herself from Rowan, and how she, too, thought she was destined for (bad) calamity.
"Sometimes the dark doesn't cause calamity but rather is what no one expects at all," Wednesday looks at you, her eyes focused. "The solution."
But even as you give Wednesday a soft smile, she can see something dim behind your eyes, and the taste of utter defeat burns Wednesday's throat, knowing it wasn't the exact right words.
So, Wednesday was at a standstill.
And she was also far from finding a nickname for you that she'd allow everyone to call you. The only bright side was everyone else was somehow doing worse than her with their suggestions despite her not having offered anything at all.
There was a distance, Wednesday realizes. One that you seemed content to let be.
Wednesday feels jolted by the realization that she's been fairly spoiled and blessed in her life (even if she didn't feel it at the moment). It had always been Wednesday who chose to keep her distance from those around her. She had her own interests and had been content to put them above everyone else.
But ever since coming to Nevermore, her little ragtag of misfits—especially Enid—had intrusively barged into her personal space. Wednesday only had to take a small step forward, and everyone else had closed the distance.
Everyone except you.
Wednesday Addams would never deny the fact that she wasn't free from things like desire. She desired many things: rain, mysteries, victory, the fear of others, and whatever things could be described as morbid.
She told her mother that she would never be like her—never fall in love, be a housewife, or have a family. And she had meant it at that moment (although she was very sure she'll never be a housewife).
And really, it's not like Wednesday loves you or anything. But Wednesday has once felt enough to kiss a boy (who turned out to be a serial killer), and when she thinks of Enid, Eugene, and Xavier, she does feel like she has a strange little group to call a family of her own. She begrudgingly accepts Bianca to something like a distant, irritating cousin.
You piqued her curiosity very early on with your unintrusive smiles and waves. Now, you had an enigmatic background and a perhaps sense of self-preservation to remain distant. But it was too late.
Wednesday desires mystery, and she desires you.
They're not mutually exclusive.
⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷†⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷
Blood drips down from Wednesday's cheek. She touches her finger to the cut and looks at it curiously.
"You're distracted, Addams."
Wednesday looks back to Bianca, who somehow manages to look both smug and concerned. While being beaten by Bianca again still leaves the feeling of self-pity, her rage is directed at herself.
"And yet, you barely managed to defeat me," Wednesday drawls.
"Well, pull your head out of the dark, gray clouds and focus so I can put you in your place again without your excuses," Bianca shoots back without hesitation.
Wednesday starts to move into position when the coach halts it and tells her to go to the infirmary to take care of her cut. Clenching her jaw, Wednesday puts her equipment away and leaves the room.
The cut stings, and Wednesday knows it was her own fault that Bianca cut her too deep. She was distracted. She has been lately ever since her realization that if she wanted to close the distance, she would have to be the one to intrude in your space.
The problem was that Wednesday only knew how to intrude into someone's space when she was suspicious they were a serial killer—accusing and without permission.
And thus, Wednesday has been afflicted with hypothetical conversations her brain refused to stop producing. It was costing her sleep, and now the victories that should belong to her.
"Wednesday!"
Turning around, Wednesday sees Enid skipping her way down toward her. The blonde frowns when she glances at Wednesday's cheek and pulls out a white handkerchief. It’s the only colorless fabric she owns. "Fencing?"
Wednesday nods, accepting the cloth as she dabs it against her face, wiping at her jaw where it dripped.
"Lose?" Enid winces in pain.
A dark look crosses Wednesday's face, and Enid quickly changes the subject.
"Are you excited for parents' weekend?" Enid asks. "I'm surprised Principal Weems has made it so early in the year. I hear she's making changes so parents visit once at the beginning of the year and once at the end of the year."
"If by excited you mean begrudgingly accepted it, yes," Wednesday monotones.
"But it'll be interesting to see who the fairy godmother's parents will be, right?" Enid rocks on her toes in anticipation. "I heard her dad is, like, a high lord or something."
The comment does spark interest in Wednesday. She is curious about the two people who had loved you so much that they took you out of isolation and parted ways with you in this safe haven.
Assuming that they could visit you, anyway.
"That's also a witless sobriquet," Wednesday comments absentmindedly.
Enid only huffs.
"Enid," Wednesday calls evenly.
"Hm?"
"How—why—" Wednesday takes a deep breath as her eyes close for a moment. When she opens them, she finds Enid staring at her curiously with an amused smile. Wednesday knows it was because she’s never this inarticulate, but Enid is gracious enough to not say anything about it and waits patiently for her to gather her thoughts.
As patiently as she can, it seems.
"Not to rush you, but you should probably hurry on and say whatever it is you want to say so you can get on to the infirmary. The cut is starting to soak through my handkerchief," Enid gently pushes.
Wednesday grinds her teeth for a second before sighing through her nose lightly.
"How did you decide on how you wanted to be closer to me?" Wednesday asks, leaving as much emotion out of her tone as possible but cringing at her sentence. "Especially since it was obvious I wanted to keep my distance."
Enid's lip twitches, and Wednesday already regrets asking, but before she can turn around and leave, Enid answers. "Well, in your case, I think it was easier for me to tell you didn't really want to be alone, so I didn't ask."
Wednesday makes a vague face of disgust while Enid continues on.
"But in your case," Enid stresses, smirking at Wednesday's unblinking face. "I think you should ask to do something together to be closer."
Wednesday's eyes flicker as she processes Enid's words. The memory of Tyler's efforts to take her to the catacomb, how he set up lights, and a movie pops into her mind.
"Like a date," Wednesday says slowly, and horrification begins to set in.
"Er, I think that's a little too advanced for you," Enid cuts in quickly. "Maybe just try to find a way to spend more time together casually but consistently."
Enid looks at her watch. "Oh, I gotta go. Yoko and I need to start planning for the boat race this year." With that, Enid happily skips down the hallway. She turns around once and yells, "Oh, don't forget to wash the blood out of my handkerchief. I trust you'll know how to do that!"
Wednesday nods before she continues on her way to the infirmary. When she enters, she sees Weems talking to someone sitting on a cot behind the curtains.
"I'm happy you've found a friend to help you, but I'm concerned—" Weems stops as soon as she sees Wednesday, frowning as she sees the cut and then sighs, "Coach Vlad had told me you and Bianca frequently spared without your helmets. I had hoped he was joking."
The curtains suddenly opened, and Wednesday wasn’t surprised. She could tell it was you by your silhouette.
Immediately the hypothetical conversations she's been creating pops into her mind again.
"Hi, Wednesday," you smile with a short wave before you eye her cut. "Hope the other person looks worse off."
Weems clicks her tongue in disapproval, but Wednesday's lip twitches upward slightly.
The principal is about to say something else when a small, lanky boy walks in. He clutches his wrist, but Wednesday can’t make out his feature with his overgrown fringe covering his eyes. He seems to see just fine, though, as his posture stiffens at the sight of you.
"O-Oh, F-Fae," he starts to say but then stutters. "No, sorry, I-I mean—"
"It's fine," you wave away his attempt at saying your name. "Did you hurt yourself in psychitect?"
He nods.
"I suppose I should go find the nurse. She went down to the cafeteria for a quick snack," Weems says before she looks at you. "We'll finish our conversation later."
"It's fine," you wave it off. "I can help Wednesday. We’ll be gone before you’re back."
Weems purses her lips in disapproval, but you just give her a look back. Sighing, Weems nods before she turns to walk out. "Glad to see you fitting in more this year, Wednesday. It's pleasant to see you in my office less."
"It's too early in the year still," Wednesday haughtily replies, eyes trailing Weems as she leaves the room.
"Come along, Henry."
Once alone, Wednesday's eyes trail to you.
"Well, take a seat," you stand up and gesture to the cot near her as you rummage through the cabinets.
"I can do it myself."
"I'm sure you can," you absently say as you move bottles back and forth in search of something. When you find it, you turn around with a lopsided smile. "But I assure you I can do it better."
Wednesday only raises her eyes challengingly but sits down as you sit on the stool and roll over to her. She sits primly with her back straight as a rod when you come closer and closer. To allow your proximity, Wednesday has to open her legs for you to come between, being the one wearing pants.
"Pretty nasty cut," you mumble, and Wednesday can smell grape lollipops.
"I've had worse."
"Bragging, I see," you smirk as you put on gloves and use tweezers to soak a gauze pad in saline solution. "Xavier did tell me you took an arrow for him once."
"Xavier has an abnormally large mouth," Wednesday speaks tersely with a furrow of her brows. When you gently dab the soaked gauze pad on her cheek, it doesn’t sting, but Wednesday clenches her fists closed with your face so close.
"I think he was bragging," you continue to dab. "Enid and Eugene have similar anecdotes. Thing, as well."
Wednesday huffs while you merely grin lightly.
Enid's words and Wednesday's haunted hypotheticals were plaguing her again.
"What were you and Weems talking about?" Wednesday asks to redirect the conversation. She had been curious since she walked in, as it seemed like a rather serious conversation.
The thoughts aren’t going away.
"She was checking in after I told the nurse I had a friend to help me apply the medicine, and I'd only come in to do monthly examinations or if something serious happened."
Sometimes Wednesday isn’t used to people answering her questions so quickly and without pretense. She’s used to them being defensive.
'Thing shouldn't be applying your medicine.' Wednesday clenches her jaw, refusing to let the thought slip out of her mouth. With you in sight, her mind refuses to stop the compulsive hypothetical conversations.
"I see," Wednesday says slowly. "And why is Weems so particularly concerned?"
"She's my legal guardian," you answer straightforwardly, inspecting Wednesday's wound as the bleeding slows.
The sudden new information makes Wednesday blink.
'If you use your brain and think about it, Thing is a disembodied hand with stitches all over. Do you think that's sanitary? Forget the fact that Thing is vain and does well in washing his hand and moisturizes.'
You put down the tweezers and take off the gloves. Lifting your fingertips, you hover them over the cut. Wednesday watches as you concentrate before warmth and tiny little firefly-like lights seeps onto her cheek.
When it’s over, the sting of the cut is gone. Wednesday lifts her hand to touch her cheek and feels a thin bump of her skin scarred over.
'I understand your need for secrecy. I've been told I lack regard for others’ safety but I have no intentions of being the reason for your untimely death.'
You turn to grab a tub of cream and unscrew the lid. "It's not exactly perfect, but better than the usual way," you say as if apologizing. "I'll get better at it as my wings heal."
"Your powers are linked to your wings?"
'And of course, I understand you don't prefer the nurse's care. Her touch is indelicate and I imagine your wings are sensitive.'
You hum and say quietly, "A lot of it, yes. Our wings are embedded into our backs and take root inside our bodies. It's why we usually die without our wings."
"And Weems is your guardian?"
You nod. "Yes. As you know faeries stay in isolation, and faeries with my wings are...outcasts," you smirk. "My parents can't look after me like regular parents do because the more in contact with me they are, the more it exposes my location."
It makes sense. Whoever had done such abominable things to your wings should stay far, far away—lest they want Wednesday to find a way to paralyze them without taking their wings.
Still.
Wednesday studies your face as you apply the scarring cream. Your parents must've been heartbroken and scared witless to take you out of isolation and have Weems take over guardianship.
'As such, I must take responsibility for Thing and offer to take his place in applying your medication. This is an acceptable trade, is it not?'
"Your parents must've adored you so," Wednesday comments. She can certainly relate to that as she internally rolls her eyes at the thought of her own parents.
You finish applying the cream, and Wednesday has had enough of the repetitive one-sided conversation in her head. It was going to drive her crazy—and not the respectable kind.
But just as Wednesday opens her mouth to get it over with, her words die on her tongue when you look at her.
It was the same smile as that night, the one that made Wednesday's throat burn with utter defeat.
You must miss them.
"Yes, I suppose they did."
⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷†⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷
Wednesday lies in bed, staring at the ceiling, and the incessant noise of Enid's snoring is somehow amplifying her thoughts.
This. Is. Inconceivable.
The thing with Wednesday is that she had an obsessive personality. That's why solving mysteries is such a good pastime for her.
The only problem is when the mystery hasn't been solved, and she is left alone with the agonizing cliffhanger.
What if the words hadn't died on her tongue?
What if she had said them anyway, despite your smile that seemed to make Wednesday miserable.
But the truth of the matter is that she didn't, and now, she is stuck in bed coming up with new hypothetical conversations that revolve around one matter.
'Thing is indisposed.'
'I'm offering my company and assistance. Thing may stay as an additional conversationalist.'
'Surely, you must have more to say to me daily than greeting me.'
'Thing has questionable scalpel skills; therefore, I believe he's been applying your medication inaccurately. I can't have your wings—your life source—healing poorly on my hands.'
This is all Enid's fault, Wednesday determines. She turns her head to watch her peacefully, blissfully ignorant sleeping roommate.
Maybe she should come through with the threat of smothering Enid with a pillow. But in the end, Wednesday turns her head back to the ceiling.
It’s then that Thing opens the door and scuttles across the room in haste. She sits up as he climbs up onto her bed and pulls at her blanket.
"What is it, Thing?" Wednesday frowns.
Thing begins signing and tapping.
"Speak clearly, Thing. You're skipping words."
Thing taps frustratedly but slows down.
"Someone…slapped…back today?" Wednesday raises her brow but then frowns deeper. "It opened a wound up...and you can't fix it yourself? Need help...now?"
Thing taps multiple times to signify that is correct. Immediately, Wednesday gets out of bed and grabs her sweater.
"Where is she? Her room or her studio?" Wednesday asks as she shoves on her shoes, and Thing climbs onto her shoulder.
⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷†⊶⊷⊶⊷⊶⊷
When Wednesday arrives at your studio, following the same sequence she did weeks ago, she finds you fallen on the ground, your wings just barely over your shoulder as you hold yourself up by your elbows.
Blood drips down and soaks your feathers, somehow making obsidian look even darker.
Wednesday walks up quickly and crouches beside you, and you barely notice her until she speaks. "Who did this to you? I want their name." She seethes.
"It was...an accident," you raggedly breathe. "She didn't know. Meant to be a friendly goodnight clap on the back."
But that doesn’t soothe Wednesday at all. Not when the back of your dress shirt is dredged in so much blood that there isn’t even a spot of white left, and your right wing twitching in obvious pain.
"What can I do?" Wednesday demands, but there was a softness to it that is almost desperation.
You swallow. "I—I need you to move my wing over my shoulder more—until I can reach the cut to seal it." You screw your eyea shut. "I can't move it on my own."
Wednesday nods. She carefully reaches out to touch your wing.
It is velvety.
Wednesday imagines it would've been more magnificent to the touch had your feathers not been weighed down and saturated by blood.
As Wednesday begins to spread your wing up and over, your breath hitches sharply.
Wednesday stops.
"Don't stop," you grit your teeth, taking in ragged breaths. "It hurts the longer you drag it out. Just—be gentle."
Gentle is not often used to describe Wednesday. She’s sharp and jagged, like broken glass. That's probably why she still plans to discover who did this to you and slowly butcher them—accident or not—as she carefully keeps moving your wing.
When it’s finally close enough for you to reach, Wednesday watches you use healing magic for the second time that day. You slump onto the grass, exhausted.
Thing grabs Wednesday's attention to the pile of towels neatly folded in a tree's hollow trunk. She finds a set of spare clothing and grabs those along with the towels.
"Is the pond water sterile?"
You nod with your eyes shut.
Wednesday places the shirt next to you and then turns to the pond, and sticks her hand in to find it was lukewarm before she soaks one of the towels.
“Change into this clean shirt for now,” Wednesday orders you but her tone lacks the usual bite. She wrings the towel and passes it to Thing. “Help her wipe the blood on her back. Turn around as she changes,” Wednesday warns Thing.
Wednesday turns away and keeps her focus on the pond, soaking the next towel. Thing taps her leg when they’re done. You look extra tired from having to change shirts but it was better than letting your bloody shirt make you sticky and then crust over before you could shower. You seem to realize it yourself as you make an effort to keep your dirty wings from soaking your shirt again.
When she returns to you, Wednesday cleans the blood out of your feathers gently but thoroughly. When she uses her fingers to brush aside some of the feathers, your wings trill.
"Tickles," you mumble.
Wednesday doesn’t comment as she continues until the blood is washed out and properly dried. Thing hands her the ointment you use and begins to apply the salve with precision.
It’s quiet.
Peaceful.
Wednesday feels the tension in her shoulders leave now that you are fine and she is here.
All those hypothetical thoughts and conversations flew right out of her head.
"I will apply this for you from now on."
You open one eye to peek at Wednesday, and she stares back at you as if to challenge her. You close your eye again and nod.
"Thanks for your services, Thing," you mumble tiredly. "Your severance package will be a bottle of dew drops."

Hello, I’ve got a long winded request for advise that I’d like to ask from you (if you’ll give me a year in advance to ramble lol).
Would just like to state first off that this was something I spent half an hour on cycling between the thoughts of “this is horribly offensive” and “who better to ask” due to some of your posts and because I commonly enjoy and trust your opinions to be at least honest. I know you aren’t obligated to answer this ask but I’d really appreciate it even if it’s simply just a “AITA?” “YTH” situation.
I’ve had an issue recently where I am being ridiculed for making choices for my body and its appearance. The choice is losing weight. I’ve lived my entire life so far as a fat person, for the last 13 or so years I was well above the “class 3 obesity” threshold, right now I’m sitting in the low end of the first class. I don’t really like it, but when I was in the overweight category (I haven’t been an average weight since I was 5, a little more on that later) I got told that by losing weight I was being inherently fatphobic and making other fat people uncomfortable.
I know dieting and the likes can be an uncomfortable topic in general but I never brought it up except for rare mentions of my weight loss, mostly because I was proud of my progress. I’m not wanting to be “thin, “skinny,” whatever etc etc, I would just like to be in the middle of the average category with some visible muscle mass. I was shamed so much that I put myself back up into the obese category, and I’m all for body positivity but it’s not working for me when I know what I want my body to look like. I’m neutral on my body and its functions in general but I’m uncomfortable with the gain I didn’t want and the knowledge that I was on my way to a point of comfort.
As I said before, I haven’t been an average weight since I was 5. That’s because I developed severe binge eating disorder due to trauma. My weight gain was uncontrollable and made me uncomfortable for over a decade. Now that I have some control and a sense of body neutrality, I would like to lose what I gained from my disorder. Not all of it ofc, I’m an adult now and I want a healthy adult body, but I want to be able to make the choices and changes to put my body back into the average weight that I feel was “stolen” from me.
I suppose those thoughts could be considered fatphobic from a certain viewpoint but to me my binge eating disorder and obesity are/were things that I feel the need to heal from. I don’t have these thoughts about anyone else. I don’t want anyone to lose weight if they don’t want to. I love fat bodies. I just want to have the choice to lose weight myself without being considered a bad person.
Do these thoughts and feelings make me a bad/fatphobic person? Does losing weight make me a bad/fatphobic person? I genuinely just want what I believe is best for my body.
Thank you for your time. Stay well.
i have a lot of feelings on this sort of topic, so i appreciate you sending an ask like this, because it's one of the most nuanced, complicated discussions i've tried to have with people recently and a lot of people do not understand the distinction. i'm going to try to break this down to have it make sense to as many people as possible
first of all, people have the right to choose what weight they want their body to be at, so long as it's not causing genuine harm, especially permanent harm. losing weight is not inherently evil, the thing is, a lot of people either need to lose weight or choose to do so for good reasons. i was very heavy at one point, 360 lbs, and i was starting to get new pain i hadn't experienced before. it was hard to stand for any period of time. i couldn't walk much.
after i started walking around the neighborhood and losing that extra weight, that pain went away. i feel a lot better having less of that weight on me. i gained weight in a very unhealthy manner during this time, mostly by not eating well for my dietary needs, sleeping excessively, no exercise, and so on. the thing is that we have to take care of our total health and not everyone who is fat is unhealthy, but some people can and do put on weight that impairs their functioning or health and it's not good to ignore that this is a thing that can and does happen
you're allowed to decide what you feel your body should look like especially if you are not taking this to extremes. i like to keep my weight below a certain range, myself. i keep a close eye on it. fortunately it's easy to stay around a certain healthy range for my body because i cook a lot of meals at home and i mostly eat vegetarian food and fish due to allergies and digestive issues. i'm still about 311 lbs but it's in a much healthier configuration for my body
weight is a complex conversation. both thin and fat bodies are stigmatized. we need to drop our obsession with body image and let people be the arbiters of their own weight, at least, letting people express what they want and helping them reduce harm and find ways to achieve that goal realistically in a healthy manner. shaming people doesn't work. we've proven this decade after decade. shaming skinny people doesn't work. shaming fat people doesn't work. shaming anyone doesn't work
dieting is a very specific thing. everyone's diet is 100% unique to their body. your digestive system works different than the person next to you's. you may not metabolize nutrients as well as someone else. you may process fats and proteins differently. you may need a lot of electrolytes. you may not be able to digest fiber. you may struggle with fructose, glucose and other sugars. you may not be able to eat any meats at all. you may need lots of fruits. it will depend greatly on who you are
it's best to work with your body than against it. you are allowed to decide what weight range you want to be within. best thing you can do is attempt an elimination diet to see if there are foods that just don't do your body any favors, these can and should be done very slowly with one food at a time. but i'm not a health professional, so that's just a suggestion.
either way good luck, i don't like when people try to boil this down to "this is good" or "This is bad". there are good and bad things to all of this. it's worth discussing both sides of that. i hope this helped you in any way

Sergio Leone really loves to write his characters in subtle ways. I think really well shown with how the trio is named. Tuco is the only one who actually uses his real name, even the complete version at times. He doesn't hide his identity like Blondie nor does he let his work persona overtake him like Angel Eyes. It certainly makes him feel more authentic, and most importantly, more human, which is a theme surrounding his character. He isn't ashamed of his origins and who he is, which sure it can be a bad thing due to what he's done, but I think it adds to his character, and makes key scenes like the confrontation with his brother all the more emotional and poignant (especially specific lines in that scene, like when he said he had no option to 'opt out' like his brother did, and enforces the suggestion that his brother makes that their parents actually quite liked Tuco; itd thereby follow-up that Tuco has pride in his origins and thereby the names given by his parents. Perhaps they only had a strained relationship due to poverty? Or do I just want to find more socialist ideals in media I like??). And all that messaging is conveyed just through his name!
I think smth similar can be said with Blondie and Angel Eyes, just as a contrast. Which makes sense because they're meant to be more mysterious and supernatural. But the naming of these characters is also quite smart. Blondie is a name given by Tuco, which makes their partnership all the more intimate, especially since Blondie is only 'Blondie' when he's with Tuco. But ofc that indicates he didn't start out as Blondie, so despite the intimacy there's also a sense of mystery. Angel Eyes most likely got his name from his job since that's what outsiders, and people that hire him, call him by. It really goes to suggest how as mentioned above, Angel Eyes most likely stopped blurring the lines between his real persona and work persona. Which adds imo adds to the eerie vibe he has going on. Idk, there's a certain type of horror to a guy who doesn't let himself have no limits to what he's willing to do, to the point that it fundamentally changes him as a person. Which is shown by his actions, and supported by his choice of name.
Hopefully I made sense, idk how else to describe it. Unique names that tell a story aren't uncommon in fiction, but I think the naming choices in GBU are particularly interesting, and indicate what the character and their arcs will end up like.
There's definitely more that can be said (ie, Angel Eyes being called 'Angel' Eyes despite unambiguously representing a darker side of morality, how his alternative name Senteza also adds onto the "force of nature" theme Angel Eyes has going on, how it makes him seem less "bad" and more "neutral" in the sense that he's only acting how people deserve to be treated, and how that alt name can even be stretched to have divine meaning as God is often known as a "judge" that will bring judgment to mankind in the future, etc etc etc) but this is already far too long and it was meant to be a quick post
What's the tldr?....... its that I keep finding more and more reasons to have Leone as one of my fav directors. Will anyone ever cook as hard as he did?

Denji x 2000s! reader
Oh hey guys 😛
Tumblr media
☆ Warningz - Not really a warning, but reader is gender neutral, though they dress feminine-like within the hotter and colder days, just more covered up on Winter and Fall. Just kind of giving the reader a specific style.
☆ Genre - Fluff ofc, romantic too (^_-)≡☆
@( o・ꎴ・)@ “Woah! Your shorts are.. Super short!”
“... Yeah, it’s 85 degrees outside..”
“It’s just.. I’ve never seen you more showy clothes..”
“You just dress so differently on the colder days..”
“Like um… Like grunge I think that’s what you call it…”
“Do you wanna come?”
“Huh! Oh yeah!”
Denji rushes over to you, excited to follow along with such a cool person.
“Did you shower?”
“...”
“Go shower Denji.”
He groans, keeping his unsatisfied sounds in his mouth. Then he slowly walks over to the shower, his slouched back showing he wasn’t happy.
----------------------
After 5 minutes of waiting, he came out.
Of the shower I mean.
You see his body covered with a towel, meaning he just got out.
You disgustingly squint your eyes and yelled at him to actually wash instead of soaking in water.
“I DID WASH!!”
“WITH SOAP?”
“...”
“GO SHOWER.”
“ >:(” Though he frowned, he did listen.
Damn.
He really wanted to go shopping with you.
After 15 minutes, you assumed he used soap this time. But you don’t want to risk it, so you give him a smell inspection.
No, not in a weird way, just to make sure that he actually washed.
“Hm. You smell clean, did you put on deodorant?”
“Yeah! I remembered this time!”
You start to feel his hands, wondering if he put on lotion.
“Oh wow, you remembered lotion too?”
“... Uh yeah! I did..” His delayed reaction makes you doubt, but his soft hands say otherwise.
You look up at his face, detecting for any lies, but you could only detect distraction from your intertwined hands.
A deadpan appears on your face, before you give him a hug.
“Good job, just work on that washing with soap part yeah?” You whisper in his ear,
“.... Uhhh, yeahh…” He grows more astonished as he realizes your hugs are.. Well, for real!
You pull back while putting your hands on your hips, looking at a sleeping Aki and Power.
“I think Aki can handle her, maybe.”
“.. Ya think Aki will be mad at us?”
“Mm probably at you, but not me. I’m not sure why though, guess I’m just the favorite.”
“I’m glad I’m not.”
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
While walking over to the store, because driving would be too much in Tokyo, nobody disturbed you, as in talking to you.
You could hear the ‘quiet’ whispers of how ‘indecent’ you dressed as a teen.
Mind you even if the shorts are above your knees, your behind isn’t being shown, at all. The only other thing was a short sleeve, along with pretty accessories of course.
Denji frowns at the speech the old men and women speak, leaning to your ear to whisper—
“These oldies are saying a lot..”
“Leave them, it’s just old people being old. Always so judgemental to younger audiences.”
He looks at your face, surprised how well you took that.
“Woah, are you rich?” (He said this because of how you grouped your words together in that, ‘rich-like’ sentence).
“... Denji— we live in the same home??”
“Oh yeah!” He laughs.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
You two arrive at the grocery store, getting what Aki said to.
“Can you get me some carrots, broccoli, and rice?”
Denji salutes in some way, stomping down his foot and rushes over to the sections regarding veggies and grain.
He’s cringey but it’s okay because it’s Denji.
You collect up on some waffles, milk, and a few stickers for Power.
It’s been 2 minutes, which doesn’t seem long but it is, as you two are in quite a small store.
You look in the aisles, but not seeing Denji.
Finally, you find him sitting down on the floor.
“Get off the floor.”
“There’s no more rice :(”
“Did you find the carrots and broccoli?
He sniffs, “Yeah…”
“Then get up. We can find another store. Or ask if there’s some in the back.” (I don’t know if you can do that or if it’s okay in Japan, please don’t be mad).
“Okay D:”
You did end up getting your rice, with Denji clinging to your side every time you walked, unless you ‘assigned’ him something.
Whenever you were looking at what’s on the shelves, he was hugging you, holding your hand, just loving the affection you gave.
“Thank you for your purchase!” The elder man at the counter said.
“Of course, have a great time!” You responded.
You two walked out, with Denji being bedazzled at your kindness.
“Why aren't you like that with me..?”
“Because you aren’t an elderly man.”
“You were just shaming elderly men like an hour ago!”
“Shhhh, people are gonna shame me if you said that any louder.”
“...”
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Arriving home, you found Aki scrubbing peanut butter off of the kitchen counter.
While Power was staring at the TV.
Hm.. I think Aki ‘spilt’ that.
A/N|| Uhm, no me posting this doesn’t announce that I’m back for sure. I just got a sudden urge to write, and an idea. Sorry (⌒_⌒;)

— Sneaking around —
Tumblr media
Synopsis: they sneak into your room/ you sneak out (high school au!)
Warnings: mentions of an argument (Scaramouche (ofc)) not proofread
Characters: high school au! Kokomi, cyno, dehya, childe, and Scaramouche
Pronouns for reader: gender neutral/ not mentioned
A/n: I reallllly wanted to try writing for dehya, cause she’s amazing and I love her very much, idc if the prompt doesn’t fit her. Anyways enjoy, and take care!! :>>
Tumblr media
— Kokomi —
“Quick quick get in here, or else my mom will see you from her window!” You said, ushering your girlfriend into your house through the front door. That was your first mistake. Your second, was the moment she took her shoes you immediately started kissing her. “[name]! I thought your mom might see!” Kokomi said with a chuckle.
You rolled your eyes, laughing along with her until you were interrupted by none other than… your mom. Clearing her throat she says, “now, [name]. I taught you better than this.” You let out a gasp, releasing kokomi, and almost trying to hide her behind you. “If you’re gonna try to hide something, or someone, don’t let them in through the front door. At least try to be stealthy.” Your mother said with a laugh. Ah. She was joking. Wait a minute?! “I am stealthy!!” You exclaimed as both kokomi and your mom just laughed at you.
— Cyno —
“Hey [name], it really panes me to see you like this.” Cyno said crawling through the window. You look at him flatly. “Cyno I will push you off my roof if you don’t get in here.” Cyno’s typically emotionless face turned into a pout of sorts, “I think I’m hilarious.” He muttered, stepping into your room. You ignored his self proclaimed humor, and hugged him tightly. “I missed you.” You said burying your face in his hair/ neck/ chest (all depends on height really)
You haven’t been able to see each other recently, cyno being busy with student council stuff, and you being busy with academics and extracurriculars. Now was the only time you’ve really gotten to share a moment of peace together in a while, and you had to sneak around to get here, so you certainly wouldn’t let the moment pass easily.
— Dehya —
Dehya’s smile is bright as you hop into her car, giving her a kiss on the cheek as you too so. “It was cute watching you climb from your window.” She jokes, and lets out a hearty laugh. You punch her arm playfully, “you watched me struggle?!” She smiles, “of course.” You start to fuddle with the radio, until dehya stops you, “so, where to.” She asks. Right… you hadn’t even thought of a place to go.
“Hmm… we could… uhh…” you ponder, but everything is either closed at this hour, or… boring. “How about we just drive around for now, and then we can go to my place. I’ll drop you off before morning too don’t worry.” Of course, dehya already has everything planned. You smile sweetly at her, and grab onto her hand over the middle console. “Yeah, that’d be fun.”
— Childe —
The laughs of the ginger above you are heard loud and clear, even if he’s trying to suppress them as best as possible. “You look so tiny down there-“ he says before having to cover his mouth out of fear of waking up his parents. “Shut up.” You retort, as you start to climb up. You barely make it through his window before childe is practically right on top of you. Muttering in your ear about how much he missed you, as you’re about to fall over because all his body weight is on you.
“Childe!” You whisper yell, and drag him over to his bed so you can properly cuddle. He just stares at you, so lovingly, you don’t even have to say anything to him and he’ll be so infatuated with you. “You’re staring like a creep.” You say, absolutely ruining the moment. Childe pouts, “can’t I just look at my lover? We haven’t seen each other for a while now.” You remain unamused, as he continues to go on and on about how he missed you. “You’re such a drama queen” you say, like you didn’t absolutely miss him to death.
— Scaramouche —
“[name] unlock your window.” Scaramouche says with a sigh. You had gotten into a fight recently, and Scaramouche realized he was in the wrong so, he wanted to apologize. He has tried all day to say sorry, but you are rightfully still upset. But Scaramouche hates when you’re upset with him, so he’s… gone to plan B. Breaking and entering.
“No scara, I don’t wanna talk to you.” You say, closing your blinds. Scaramouche is growing increasingly frustrated, but the last that that will help is getting angry again, “[name] I’m sorry… I shouldn’t have said what I said, and yelled at you. I was insensitive.” He says almost shy, but clearly still frustrated that things aren’t going his way. You don’t respond, he doesn’t even know if you’re still on the other side of the window. Until you open your blinds once more, revealing the light of your room, and your empathetic face. Unlocking your window, to allow him to climb in. “I’m sorry you.” You say, hugging him, as he lets out a relived breath and relaxes under your touch.

📓. DIARY ENTRY 12︴JUNE 5, 2024
dear loass diary…
this couldn’t have happened any longer than ten minutes ago but I’ve finally felt what it’s like to be nailed to a state. and let me tell u this, it wasn’t the state I wanted. I’m sitting here on my bedroom floor rn, my actual diary laid out in front of me along with some pens. I was about to journal, mainly because I was feeling anxious about my circumstances, but here’s the thing. Yesterday, I made the goal to really live in imagination and try to be in it as much as I can. I wanted to know what it was like to be completely nailed to a state. Not even to get anything but because I want to and because it feels nice. anyways, back to that anxious feeling— I was thinking to myself “wait why am I feeling anxious? this doesn’t even make any sense I was happy with my state and my imagination yesterday-” until it hit me that I already was nailed to a state, the one I was trying to let die. the one that was home to my “circumstances”. the way I saw myself, saw my life, the thoughts running through my head, the plans I had for myself, the way I felt about my reality was all a perfect match for the state I didn’t want. and it was at that moment where I really felt the realization hit me. yk, the 3D can feel so real at times with all of its five senses and stuff that sometimes, I forget it’s a state. and I’ve always wanted to know what it was like to completely bask in a state, so to have realized that I’ve already been capable of doing that— that I’ve already been doing that, was just so…eye opening? and it kinda answers my annoyance, I was wondering why I still felt so worried when the truth was, how was I supposed to ever feel something else if that was the state I was so aligned with? I saw an example on another tumblr post— I’ll link it here —that said how someone wealthy like Elon Musk was used to being in the state of being rich, so it would be hard for him to fall into a state of poverty. I am so used to this state— the anxiousness, the incapability, the not being satisfied —that I merely fell into the sowf, and then climbed out of it. and because I quickly stopped identifying with it, because I went from having it to worrying about the things of my unwanted state, I was back in my unwanted state. and ofc, the thing that started this whole realization, I was thinking about things and my desired self. I was thinking about how I embodies my desired self yesterday and how that felt so… like, far away? ig? like it felt like it could never be me and I was surprised that I felt like I could ever be anything other than what I am now. and that’s actually the moment when I realize I had nailed myself to this state. now, thank god for this realization because it was just what I needed to snap me out of this cycle of worry. this means two things, 1. nailing yourself to a state is way less complicated than it sounds, it’s totally natural and 2. I am capable of completely embodying a state— u might be thinking, yeah no kidding we all can, but sometimes u just have to feel something in order to truly know it and that’s my case —and if I can do it with my unwanted state then I can sure as hell do it with my desired state. because what’s the difference? actually, I’ll tell you what the difference is. all states are equal, they’re neutral, nothing but a state. but I unknowingly decided to place one on a pedestal, I decided that because I wanted my desired state I would be harder to embody. but it’s just a state. and I’m reality, I’m imagination, I can make whatever I want come to life, whether the state seems desirable or not. that’s just how it goes, all states are available for me to occupy and then manifest. and I need to understand that, I need to get it in my head that happiness isn’t above me, that it should be natural and normal for me to have— tumblrs telling me that this is getting too long so this’ll be continued in another post #yappertron3000 🤓 (click here to read part two)
kisses, Tiffany

I find it interesting that a lot of gendered expectations are framed (at least in my experience) as just. "logical" or obvious. often you don't need to be directly and straightforwardly told that something is Wrong For Your Gender (though you absolutely can be ofc), it's just... the norm. Examples include:
1. I was allowed to wear leggings/pants from a young age. BUT,
1a) an Event meant a dress. There was a lot of jokes about how i hated dresses, but it was still unquestioned for the first 13 years of my life--piano recital, family reunion, wedding, theater? We go straight to the dress section. I was allowed to eventually wear a vest and pants to my middle school graduation, but i had to make a fuss abt it, because the assumption was "woman, formal space, dress".
1b) pants always came from the women's section. If I asked for men's, up until the last year, I got the response "those aren't right for your body". by "right" my mother meant that sure, they'd get on my body, but they wouldn't accentuate it properly at the hips or waist, and this makes them Wrong For Me.
2. Every woman I know in real life, bar two (one transfem, one nonbinary*), has hair shoulder length or longer. When I asked to cut my ribcage-length hair short, I got a "compromise" of shoulder length for 6 months. When I got to cut it *shorter*, my mom helped me make a pinterest board... with the keywords "short women's hair", "women's pixie cuts", and at most, "gender neutral hairstyles". When I said I wanted SHORT hair, the response from cis women I got was always "oh, like a cute pixie?" No, Sharon, like a dyke. And that's what I got called when I did it--specifically, a kid in the grade above me asked another kid if I was trying to be "a dyke or a tranny". All I did was cut my hair.
[*their words, to be clear! they identify as a nonbinary woman + i respect both aspects.]
3. Around age 11/12, my mom started asking me if I wanted her to teach me how to shave my legs. When i said no, I got an "Are you sure?" and once, "it's almost summer". This happened 3 times. She stopped after she realized the answer would say no, but always seemed bewildered, because shaving is just a Thing Women Do.
4. I have been told that if I have a baby, hormones will force me to love it, because that's just how it is. I wish I was kidding. Additionally, every time I bring up that I don't want to have kids, i get a horde of middle aged women telling me "I thought that when i was a young girl!". The gender role is "perceived woman? HAVE BABY" and if I voice a lack of desire for that, I am told I'm simply young, immature, and can't know myself. this continues even now that I am out as a trans guy.
these aren't me being directly forced not to do anything---instead, I'm free to do/not do the Thing, social stigma just attempts to tell me I'm wrong or strange for my choice. A lot of the people who've said/done these things identify as feminists--my mom and every woman who's done point 4 are. "default" gender expectations are everywhere and people have to actively think about and dismantle them.

Yeah, I basically had a similar reading on Insomniac!Harry as you did, I think - I do like him a lot, and I definitely see why he would the most popular version of him in the fandom right now, but he's a very smoothed over and simplified version who feels written to be as broadly loveable as possible, if that makes sense? I read a very thoughtful critique of the game recently that described Harry as being Peter's 'comically perfect' best friend, and I think that gets at the game's take on him and ties neatly into what you said about how the characters in Insomniac feel like they're written mostly to serve Peter's story and character, which is not necessarily a bad thing when he's the protagonist, but can flatten characters into narrative devices who don't necessarily feel like full characters; and any time Harry could be perceived as doing or saying something flawed, he's justified, or at least it's understandable, and it doesn't help that the last part of the game where he's Venom was rushed (not the fault of the devs for being pushed by corporate to meet a deadline they couldn't meet ofc) and it's not really clear how much is the symbiote amplifying his emotions, manipulating him, or outright controlling him like a puppet for its own agenda - but any way, it's very easy and probably correct to read him as not being truly at fault for anything.
Regarding Norman, my take is that I don't necessarily mind an interpretation of him that focuses on corporate greed and lack of ethics while exploring what if Norman was villainous, but genuinely loves and cares for his son in this universe, but MSM2 weirdly wanted both that and the usual drama from Harry being jealous of an abusive Norman choosing Peter over him, so we got that awkward scene where Norman is doing no such thing and still being a great father, but Harry mistakenly believes he's choosing Peter - so it's manufactured drama to follow the universes where Norman is abusive and Harry has issues from that, but here, everyone is still a good or at least neutral person at worst and it's all an honest mistake, which goes back to what you said about taking the edge out of the characters here - doesn't mean they're bad, like you also clarified, but definitely softer.
Can’t form intelligent thoughts because I need to go to sleep but I’m going to say I agree with all of the above. He’s very palatable in a way that just becomes boring for me. I’ll probably come back and contribute later when I’m not barely conscious.
For now, I agree especially because them wanting the Norman drama but also sort of pussying out of the Norman drama sort of like… feels like a good example of what I mentioned in that when you write an established character but change a major aspect of them, you need to compensate. They wanted the benefits of those arcs but weren’t willing to either include the original arcs or do the work to come up with something that can get to point b in a different way with what they’ve kept. It’s not the best writing decision in my opinion. And I agree with that articles assessment he feels like, comically perfect. Scrubbing away all his unsavory aspects lost him a lot of the ways he’s flawed and interesting because it often feels he exists solely to progress Peter’s arc rather than having the personal drama he often has.
I don’t personally like these softer versions. I’m not gonna say it’s bad or wrong to like those versions, but they definitely feel watered down when it’s not looked at in isolation or looked at more critically. It rapidly became boring for me.

Just doodling something related to this post and ofc there's narilamb in the au who do you think I am
Narinder's kits all turn out to be daughters. Aym and Baal are his only sons and I love that for them, but anyway. Lemme ramble about them bc I /gen love them?
Ari is the eldest of Narinder's kits. She was ~9 (I think in the post I originally quoted 15 years but I'm changing it to ~10 bc it's a nice solid number) when their village was attacked and her second dad died, and she looks sweet but is a total troublemaker. She loves pranks, looks for loopholes to exploit so often weasels her way out of trouble, and is the de facto leader of the siblings. Total extrovert. She's the one who goes "oh father said we can't go to the Old Faith lands but he said nothing about inviting their people to dinner :)"
Elloi is the second eldest, and was ~6 when their village was attacked. She looks a bit like a rebel but is actually the most well behaved of the three eldest kits, not because she wants to be but just because she's super chill and laid back and honestly, acting out and causing trouble is more energy than it's worth. She isn't a natural born leader like her older sister, but she is a great listener and a great source of advice. Definitely an introvert. She does not trust the Bishops and Lamb when they come to the village; her trust is hard won.
Minuit is the third oldest/middle child, and was still just a baby when the village was attacked. So that thing about Nari protecting the kits (and a good portion of the village) during the attack? Yeah he did that while holding a literal baby. Papa bear mode ACTIVATED fr fr. She's still young and is in that stage of life where she's discovering she can actually just choose to disobey her dad, and the worst thing he will do is ground her. And, as a baby introvert/ambivert, this is just fine for her. She loves to read. Stories are her bread and butter, and she LOVES songs that tell a story. Absolutely adores it. Btw her name I said fuck it, I can name a kit Minuit if I want. She will one day be, magically, the strongest between her, Elloi and Ari. (Mercy and Hope will be stronger but ya know)
The three kits above, being the kits of an ex-god, are demi-gods but have no idea. All they know is their magic is just quite a bit stronger than the other villagers' and assume (correctly) that it's bc of Narinder. Now, what each of their magic is I am undecided. I am thinking about it......
Now for the twins- Mercy and Hope (named by Lamb). They're shittens :) But they look very much like sheep (with floofy cat-like tails and Mercy has cat ears) so ye. They... don't exist at the point in the AU discussed in that post, but they exist in the future (more likely than not after Minuit is an adult, possibly far enough in the future that she's already stopped aging). They both inherit Narinder's third eye, unlike the older three, bc they're baby gods rather than just demigods and Narinder's third eye was a result of his godhood. Mercy is a few minutes older than Hope, definitely no symbolism there ofc, and they're super sweet. Absolute angels. Please ignore the fact that they will 100% sacrifice you to the shadows if given a reason. The first three kits of Nari's have pretty much nothing to do with the Lamb's cult beyond visiting their father (and eventually younger siblings) and step-parent and aunt and uncles and... idk what the gender neutral term is but Shamura, and maybe cousins after Narinder returns to the cult, but Mercy and Hope are raised inside the cult with all the trimmings that come with it <3
-
Oh, and have this random doodle. What's he so sad about? Idk maybe the fact he lost his partner a good ~60 years earlier than he expected to but ya know-
Tumblr media
Anyway damn Nari you're all leg huh, lucky Lamb eventually /J /J but maybe....

Can you tell us more headcanons about the wood Brothers? And how much older Jeff is to his brother Liu? Thank you and have a good day/night!!! 💕
HIIIIIII YES OFC!
(OH MY GOD THANK YOU FOR ASKING, YOU'RE MY FIRST EVER REQUEST!)
I headcanon that Jeff is 2 years older than Liu, so when the incident with the bullies happened, Jeff was 16 and a junior in highschool, while Liu was 14 and a freshman in high school.
--------------------------Before the incident------------------------
Jeff and Liu and were always VERY close, Jeff was the "Older brother who acts like he knows everything" and Liu would trail behind him like a lost puppy.
Jeff had a hard time making friends at school, but he would always act like he was above having friends, and would do things so he would look "cool" to Liu.
Liu had a difficult time making friends, but he actually tried. He was just a shy kid and had trouble talking to others.
Liu was always the more Mature out of the two? definitely more responsible and better at owning up to things.
Jeff was OVERLY protective of Liu, so if Liu was ever bullied, trust that the bullies would be hurt. BADLY.
Jeff had a very difficult time with anger, not very good at handling or controlling it, along with other emotions, his family was also pretty conservative and rather than going to see someone about it, they blamed it on whatever Jeff was listening to or watching at the time.
----------------------After the incident---------------------------------
Jeff came to the Slender mansion first, and Liu popped up at the mansion a couple years later.
Like I said before, Jeff does his best to avoid Liu at ALL costs, even though Liu has forgiven him and is no longer hostile or aggressive.
While Liu isn't aggressive, Sully is. (Sully is Liu's split personality/alter ego or like all of his anger and hatred towards Jeff personified). Sully does the majority of the killing, and tries his best to shield Liu from most of the violence.
When it came to Jeff making friends in the mansion, Jeff got the closest with Laughing Jack the quickest? Laughing Jack was a lot more accepting of all of Jeff's violent tendencies and interests, as he himself is a very sick and twisted thing with thoughts that almost mirror his but a little worse. (NOT A SHIP IN MY AU)
Other thank Laughing Jack, Jeff isn't very open with anyone else in the mansion and he'll usually act very pissed off or tired of others. He sort of acts superior to everyone.
When Liu started making friends, he was definitely looked down upon by almost everyone and seen as weak because of his lack of blood lust.
Liu got close with Bloody Painter quickly, Helen never looked at him as weak and was very neutral towards him and helped ease him into life in the Slender mansion. Liu developed some feelings towards him. (the developing feelings thing is just in my au, you can choose to take it and run with it, or choose not to)
I hope you liked these head canons, and thank you SO SO SO MUCH for asking! sorry it took a while, I've been away from my computer for like the whole week!!

Why I think Alhaitham is demisexual
Summary: Alhaitham shows respect and care to Kaveh, the only person he views as his intellectual equal, the person we can say was his first/closest friend, and roommate (˵ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°˵). I'm not elaborating further on that ship because it has been done to death by... EVERYONE./nm But Alhaitham also seemed to respect or even admire Dehya and her conviction/personality.
First, define "demisexual" for me. Let us ask for help from Wikipedia.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The way I describe it from my own experience to make it easier to understand is "If you command my respect, I may find you attractive. How attractive is dependent on how our relationship unfolds."
We already know the Kavetham ship. So, I'll explain this next one. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who saw it. Alhaitham openly praises Deyha for her fierceness and straightforward personality in hopes of persuading her to work at the Akademiya. If I remember correctly, this was around the time in the Archon Quest where the group was looking for the lost elders of Aaru Village. He seemed disappointed when she declined his proposal. It's more forward in his voice-over for her:"It's a waste for such a capable person to remain among the Eremites. If only she'd consider my suggestion to join the Akademiya... Our work would become a lot easier with someone like her around, but a predictable life isn't exactly her cup of tea — I can understand that. *sigh* What a pity."
Take into consideration the Alhaitham haters' point of view,
"He's boring,"
"He's so unsympathetic,"
"He's a cold jerk."
First off, are you all like five years old? C'mon now. Think of something more creative. And intelligent. Back to the point, a lot of his voice-overs are neutral for other characters. Ex. Talking about Tighnari but only in relation to Kaveh (the person he's actually close to), talking about being guilt-free of the hivemind case in Cyno's, and for Nilou he only states she lives simply because she does what she loves. It was two whole sentences 😱./dramatic When all of that is considered, it's safe to say that Alhaitham doesn't praise anyone, not even the Sages who are technically his bosses. So, for someone to impress him, especially someone that he normally wouldn't work with, it is a gargantuan feat.
A guy like Alhaitham, he just wants to be left alone to study his silly little runes and read funky texts. Who needs love and relationships, am I right; burdensome things. Essentially, he minds his own business. For Alhaitham to INVITE someone into his space (his home in Kaveh's case and his workplace in Dehya's case), in a way, it's a show of his interest in said person. If that interest were to go further, well, please refer to the third sentence in the highlighted picture above for demisexual. In the end, that's why I think Alhaitham is demisexual.
And also, I kin Alhaitham... You can't lie to me, boy. I can SEE you. I could also tell you were ACTING.
On a side note, Alhaitham also has thing for Claymore users. Kaveh, Deyha, and myself.*
Looking less at empirical evidence and more intuition, when choosing the weapon for my Genshin persona who is in a poly relationship with Kavetham, ofc, it was between sword and claymore. I chose claymore without thinking about this cute little implication. I'm also just used to characters with big swords.
*If your first thought was a child claymore user i.e. Dori. You're a pedophile. Thank you, siyhnoh, for outing yourself. DNI.

Insecticons x F! Reader HCs
Help.
[A/n: i like the G1 designs and voices, but i like the hivemind concept and neutral kind of role they play in tfp, so this is a combo of both.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yall met when one was curious and tried talking to you. You tried to mimic his weird beetle noises, then you got to know the hive and befriend them, then one thing led to another and boom.
You are now the Beetle Queen.
They all love you dearly
Just please be kind to these bug lovelies
Lots of bug cuddles every single day
In fact, they barely let you get up at all, they want you to rest, even if you're perfectly healthy.
They don't really have proper mouths in their alt modes so they just nuzzle you to simulate a kiss.
They don't really grasp the concept of the human economy so they just randomly bring things they think you'll like. Whether it be an outfit, a plushie, an instrument, pretty much anything unless it is deemed unsafe.
They treat you like the Queen you are.
And since they're a hivemind, if you tell one of them something, the rest of them now know as well
You say something about liking worms on a string to Kickback? The hive brings you a whole box of em they got from a nearby Amazon warehouse.
You ramble about a hyperfixation of yours to Shrapnel? Cool! Everyone else knows now too.
You tell Chopshop about something thats been bothering you? They all know.
They feed you your favorite snacks, even if you aren't hungry they'll bring you something.
The Insecticons are very territorial over you.
Both Autobots and Decepticons are sent aggressive warnings and clicks if they come too close.
If they don't heed those warnings or try to get near without asking you for permission first... oh boy. Lets just say, thats one less Cybertronian fighting in the war.
If you do authorize them coming close, then they back off, but their guards are still up. For good reason too.
If you wanna go for a walk, then at least one of them is following to make sure you're safe.
They think you're the most gorgeous thing in the galaxy.
They treat you like glass due to how small you are compared to them.
Nicknames include; Our Queen, Our Spark, Sweetspark, Ladybug, and Snugglebug.
The Insecticons pick you up by their mandibles in their alt modes, otherwise, you're carried like a baby.
They fly you anywhere you wanna go. But sometimes they just go ahead and fly you somewhere. Kinda like a date.
Your birthday is a big thing for them.
Its is today that you, their Queen, came into existence, how can they not be excited?!
Ofc yall celebrate their birthdays too, but they want yours to be big. Even if you get flustered or feel bad that you can't throw a party as big for them as well.
Big snuggle piles.
One of them rolls on his back and puts soft things on its stomach, another puts you on said soft things and tucks you in, then literally every single one of them joins you.
They're everywhere, next to you, above you, at your feet, on your torso, everywhere. They are careful not to squish you though.
Grab headphones for late May and early June. You'll need it.
These bitches do mating calls all the way until 3 in the damn morning 🤣
Its literally the song of their people. I'm not even saying that as a joke (not intentionally at least Lmao).
For them its one big Cybertronian love sonnet.
You don't have the heart to tell them that you just hear a cacophony of noise.
In Autumn, the amount of snacks they bring you increase by... quite a bit. Even if you're not hungry.
Explain Halloween to them, they'll love it. They don't get why Trick or Treat-ing is a thing but they like seeing you skipping around in your costume.
Thanksgiving is fun with them if you celebrate it. Say you're thankful for them, they will absolutely melt.
In the winter though, they all snuggle close to you and vibrate in an attempt to keep you warm underneath all the blankets they covered you with.
Remember all of those snacks they brought even if you weren't hungry? This is where that comes in since its a bit too cold to go out.
They will celebrate Christmas with you though. (If you celebrate that is.)
They don't really know what its about or why you're decorating a tree or why you're putting their leaf-wrapped gifts and these weird boxes under it, but if you're happy then so are they.
Same goes for literally every other holiday, sometimes they understand, sometimes they don't, but either way they wanna see you happy and join in on your festivities.
To wrap things up, your buggie boyfriends love you with all their sparks, and they want you to know that.

Thanks for Reading

So, arc 6 of Go Rush is over...
Overall, I would say it was better than arc 5 but ofc, there were things I wasn't really happy with besides the things I did enjoy. (everything listed is obviously just my subjective opinion)
Things I didn't like:
the whole Commander Study bs/Manabu's treatment: Honestly, why, Bridge? Why did we need that? Maybe Manabu was less treated like a joke when the finals started but before, it was just annoying to watch how he was portrayed and how characters treated him. Also have him collect all those duel points just to make him unable to be part of the finals because he didn't join with his real name... *smh*
Sogetsu Maguto: I don't hate him but I didn't need him in the show.
not bothering showing more of the tournament/some random finalists: I know, Sevens wasn't much better with its tournament but was it too much to ask for showing more of the prelims? We only saw a shot of London, Manya, George and Rovian and from those people, only Rovian became a finalist. We saw nothing of finalists like Zwijo, Mitsuko, Nyandestar or Tell dueling to earn their place. Heck, Tell was mostly busy with the research squad around Yuamu, Nyandestar was hanging out with Manabu, Mitsuko was shown at her dango booth and Zwijo... well, he wasn't there at all until he had to face Mitsuko for their duel.
how Zaion was handled: So, the writers bring him back, even let him act as some antagonist - just so he's done after his 2-parter duel. Also his whole furniture backstory and how he could turn people into some was just not for me. (Zaion himself was still entertaining ngl)
Zwijo vs Mitsuko: This must be the worst finalists duel which really pains me to say since I was actually looking forward to it. I mean it was about time that Mitsuko and Zwijo could face each other and clear things out between them - and they didn't. :)) We just got Mitsuko mad, in love and back to mad at Zwijo. And Zwijo? Didn't bother to say much. How these two met for the first time and why Mitsuko joined Zwijo was also just facepalm-worthy. Plus, Dinois being annoying there.
Yuamu being possessed twice: Honestly, did we need this?
Tell and Nyandestar being just duel fodder: It was to expect, still not a fan of it.
no "true" Yudias vs Yuhi finals duel: They just had to add Phaser and Zwijo before, didn't they. And Yudias wasn't even there for the whole duel since Kuaidul took over.
Things I liked:
Yudias and Yuhi's friendship being more focused on again: I really needed that after arc 5.
Yudias and Epoch's relationship: It gave Yudias some more purpose to be a duel tutor for a shy child compared to how he just existed to beat the bad guys in arc 5.
Epoch in general: For a "Tiger counterpart", she's really more likable than her potential granddaughter to me. She might be pretty tsundere but at least she isn't scaring anyone and had her cute side as well as her growing liking/trust in Yudias.
Rovian vs Yuna: After the big disappointment that Zwijo vs Mitsuko was to me, I had no high hopes for this duel. Heck, I wasn't even thrilled to see it - but I'm really impressed how they handled it. Yuna makes it clear that she has to go her own way and she had a "good break up" with Rovian. God, I wished we could have the same for Zwijo and Mitsuko instead of whatever they have going on now... Rovian also showed more of her own feelings when it comes to Yuna which I really wanted to see for a long time.
Yuhi wins the tournament: The circumstances are kinda meh tho as mentioned above.
Things I'm neutral about:
the way Yudias earned his place in the finals: The moment they said the prelims are gonna be over the same day Zaion appeared, I just knew the writers would let Zaion magically have all those needed duel points Yudias could take to qualify. I'm not really mad about it - I just find it a very lazy solution.
how Asaka, Yuna and Phaser could be in the finals: Nothing wrong in organizing a tournament and still be part of it since Kaiba did the same with Battle City. But them just automatically being part of the finals feels lame.
who the Creator really is: Him being Otes' Earthdamar does at least explain how he could create the Velgearians because as Yuga said, a normal human being wouldn't be able to do that. Still, not sure if this was really the reveal I wanted to happen.
Yuga: I knew they would make him appear before the arc is over. Still wished they had cared to give us hints where he went/what he was doing since he left at the end of arc 5.
Kuaidul
Ah yes, Kuaidul is surely... something. The moment he appeared, I had the feeling he's gonna be the new Goha Yuga in the sense of "shows up as the main antag (who looks pretty similar to the MC) when the arc is almost over and even after losing the duel, he's not gonna be redeemed yet". And you also have a lot of Lightning vibes with him since he's apparently responsible for so many things that happened in GR so far. The only difference to Lightning is that Kuaidul gets a sob backstory so we should feel bad for him. Don't get me wrong: I do think he was genuinely heartbroken when the Creator was about to leave him behind so his tears were true (in the flashback and when Yuhi talked with him). Still doesn't make me forget the shit he pulled so far and will continue to considering he was smirking at the end of the ep where it's also revealed that Yuhi was using a hidden Darkness card - and will do it again sooner or later. So yeah, it's probably gonna take a Yudias vs Kuaidul arc final duel until Kuaidul is truly redeemed. Man, I hope this is done right...
I guess that's it. I know my negative list is longer than the positive but I'm really feeling better with this arc compared to arc 5 since it had some highs for me and not just some lows. Curious for how arc 7 will be.
