Me personally feels that Saiki’s powers are related a lot to his nervous system, so the limiters could have been attached anywhere on the central nervous system—obviously the brain, but along the spinal cord or maybe even the brain stem. Of course, the brain stem would be a lot more dangerous—even more so than the literal brain itself) because at least the limiters only seem long enough to breach the cerebral cortex—but I think that they would give him a lot more control over his powers that are still kind-of-really disabling.

Of course, I sincerely doubt that Kusuo would be willing to allow Kusuke to cut into his brain that deep, even if I think that he would be physically fine from that invasive of a surgery. And that’s why Akechi should become a neurosurgeon and—

mickey/ian + fidgeting with their ring

Ian

when they're in public, Ian uses his thumb to fidget with his ring when he gets nervous/anxious, Mickey always notices, placing his hand gently on top of Ian's.

Ian catches himself fidgeting with Mickey's ring a lot while they're holding hands or just in bed together. he'll bring Mickey's hand closer, twisting the ring around his finger and just stare at it with a small smile.. Mickey always calls him a "soft bitch" when he does it.

Mickey uses his right hand to twist and turn his ring when he gets nervous. Ian will always grab both of his hands and pull them apart gently, giving them a tight squeeze. it also happens a lot when they're in public/at a family dinner, and Ian will grab one of his hands and bring it down to his own thigh, letting it rest under his hand for a while.

whenever Ian tells Mickey he's being annoying or gets pretend-pissed at him, Mickey will flash his left hand with a smug smile, wiggling his ring finger towards Ian before turning on his heel and walking away.

The greens being super physically there for one another. A hand on the back as they walk together, holding hands, hugging, kisses on cheeks and heads!!

• Aegon and Aemond always having their hand on the others neck. Always tugging each other in the direction they want to walk in.

• Helaena and Alicent brushing back a strand of hair for the other. Having their arms interlocked. Kisses goodbye and hello.

• Aegon and Helaena just always having their hands on each other at all times. Playing with each others hair. Quick kisses and the pinch of a nose.

• Alicent and Aegon holding each others hands when they can. Kisses on the head as she cradles his face. Aegon making sure she gets to the dinner table alright with a hand around her arm.

• Alicent and Aemond holding onto each other in serious moments. Aemond always having his arm outstretched so she can wrap her hand around it. Alicent fixing a loose stand of hair for him.

• Aemond and Helaena always braiding each others hair and brushing it out for each other. His hand on her back as they walk together.

HEADCANONS FOR TEAM FORTRESS 2

CW: might contain spoilers! Please read with caution and if you haven't read the comics, I recommend you do so that the head canons make sense but you don't have to!

Hi! These are my head canons about our mercs! They are A LOT so be ready hehe. Now, I don't play the game bcuz one, poverty, two, don't have a PC, and three, the mobile version is not available for my phone (I'm sad bcuz of it 😔) , ok LETS GOOOO.

• HeavyMedic

Medic is the "talks a lot" to Heavy's "listens"

• this head canon has always been in my mind ever since I've started watching sfm on YouTube and reading the official comics is that because Medic likes to ramble about basically *anything* from his newest discovery to talking shit about their own teammates and Heavy listens. In one particular discussion that they both had is about Scout, mainly Medic complaining about the Bostonian, and he *accidentally* mentions his his similarity to Spy, ending it with "like father, like son". Which is how Heavy found out about Spy being scouts Father.

•endearment is very common but they WOULD NEVER, EVER, TILL THE DAY THAT THEY DIE use "babe". U feel like they are very class and shit and that really makes them shudder and shiver cuz they think it's for younger couples and they ain't young they in they 50s. What they would use is Darling, sweetheart, my love, and their favorite would be animals that remind them of each other. Medic would call Heavy "bear" and Heavy would call medic his "dove".

Helmet Party (Soldier x Engineer)

Basically their whole dynamic:

Engie "calm but still feral bf " x Soldier "not contained feral bf"

•Soldier is definitely such a softie when it comes to Engineer, like he gives the Texan special treatment and he doesn't even notice but the entire team knows of course. He isn't necessarily soft spoken, just kinda of chill and let's his guard down around engineer (he doesn't to it to anyone else even Demoman). ALSO! Engie is the "calm, reserved still insane, but regardless nice bf" and Soldier is the "loud, bossy, mentally unstable bf".

• Both of them have anger issues but the difference is, Engie can control his anger because he's very patient and understanding ( bless his soul) but Soldier can't. But just because Engie has lots of patience doesn't mean he doesn't get mad, I just know that Engie is the scariest to anger because he just stays silent and glares at everyone unlike soldier who won't hesitate to slash out, destroy things, etc.

•Engie is definitely more confident and more demanding in bed while Soldier is a bit timid. Idk why but I feel like soldier has this tendency to be scared to feel pleasure when it comes to sex and i wanted to link that with religious trauma, internalized homophobia, but despite that he still tries his very best to enjoy sexual intimacy (Engie WOULD NEVER let himself finish before Soldier does because he knows that he fins it hard to finish)

•Engineer's love language are definitely acts of service and Words of Affirmation while Soldier's would be physical touch. Like it wouldn't be unusual for Engie to build something for Soldier and he does it often but Soldier is still very grateful for every gift, and when they sleep together, Engie would just shower him with loving words like "I'm so glad you're mine" , "you're so adorable", "I love you" , etc. And Soldier would always be a blushing, flustered mess everytime. Soldier would be very physical with Engie like holding his hand, hugging him, and kissing him and other none sexual intimacy things. And it really surprised Engie at first because Soldier doesn't let anyone touch him (unless your super close with him like Demoman is). And when they have sex, Soldier really takes his time with Engie, kissing and adoring every part of his body to the point he's just worshipping Engie (not that Engie would complain lol) , and Engie would be really shy about showing his body because of scars and stuff like that and he isn't the most ripped and toned guy on the team so naturally, he'd be embarrassed to show his body but Soldier just constantly reminds him of how beautiful and lovely he is as a person.

•They are more reserved, like low-key and stuff but they don't and will deny their relationship if someone asks. I feel like they do it for the comfort of the other, like the team knows about their relationship but they aren't the type to flaunt it and really show PDA in front of the guys but it doesn't mean they don't share loving glances, hold hands when possible, cuddle on the couch, when the guys are there, just low-key stuff.

•They don't like it when other members of the team call them by their real names. I feel like this would apply to both of them, but Engineer would be more of the type to say that he doesn't mind it but he prefers it not to be used and if you call Soldier by his real name, run because he will gut you alive.

Can you tell I'm obsessed with Helmet Party? So, yeah! These are some but definitely not everything, it's just that I'm tired of typing shit lol (I'm lazy sorry). I'd like to hear your thoughts or own personal head canons about our mercs! Don't hesitate to comment cuz I love that😘

•Pyro crochets. Idk. Like I just see him crocheting a dino or a unicorn for himself or to give to others.

•Heavy is English, literature, poetry, etc. smart while Medic is Mathematics, Science, etc. Smart.

•Medic LOVES being praised so heavy always praises him. From that series of sfm by HoovyTube (idk I could be wrong) about Medic and Spy not getting the recognition that they deserve and I feel like Heavy knows about Medic's craving for recognition so he praises him a LOT. Like "thank you doctor" "you are so smart doktor" etc.

UPDATE: 07/23/23

•Soldier is BEST at combat plans. Like okay, we all know that this man isn't the smartest right? But I can totally see him planning shit for upcoming battles, sometimes they are very absurd, and the other mercs are like worried cuz it might not work but in the end it all works out. Like all the time, which is why they let Soldier give these speeches before battle.

•Heavy is part of the people who taste soap in Cilantro. Like he is a man that'll eat whatever (edible) is given to him but as soon as he sees Cilantro on that stuff? Nah, he ain't eating it.

•Scout has dyslexia. This is more of canon tbh. He can read but he finds it difficult especially if he's reading it out loud.

•Engineer and Pyro have autism. Which is why engie is sometimes the only person who really gets Pyro and vice versa.

•Engineer, Medic, Spy, and Heavy are the Mercs that learned ASL for Pyro. They once found out that the man prefers to sign than try to talk when it comes out incoherent to them anyway.

•scout and sniper both know Morse code. It helped them expressing their love for each other even when the other mercenaries are there when they still kept it low-key. But what they didn't know is that Spy also knows Morse code , so evrytime Scout says "I love you" in Morse code, spy always let's out a disapproving groan or eye roll.

•Medic plays the violin, Engie plays the piano and guitar, what does Scout play? All three. I've got a feeling that bcuz he's the youngest he never got that much attention from his siblings (author is the youngest of five) and because he never got anyone to play with, he hangs out with a lot of people which is how he learned to play these instruments but he mostly plays guitar.

•these three having GOOD voices. Medic and Engie are expected but Scout? Nah, no one guessed. So it's really a surprise to the mercs when they find out he can sing.

•bidwell and miss Pauling are friends because they have one thing in common; overworked.

also SIDE NOTE , i totally think sansa is going to be a skin changer in the books. she can't be a warg bc she has no dog/direwolf to warg into, but i think she WILL skinchange. it's NO coincidence to me that the imagery surrounding sansa is always , little bird this , little dove this .... she's in the vale with SWEETROBIN , another bird!!!! i think she will skin change into a bird OR into robin arryn. lady dying represents sansa's arc , but it also allows her to use her talents ( she's a lady , not a warrior ) to be able to skin change into people or gentle creatures to still cause cataclysmic damage. if sansa warged into a direwolf to attack , it just wouldn't be her. being able to be a bird to get information from others , learn of upperhands and betrayals. she can get this info to outsmart little finger!!! skin changing into a person , she could put on a show and pretend to be someone she's not and homegirl can freaking do that!!! that's my ted talk for today tooodaaaalooooo

The first thing 𝐒𝐊𝐘𝐄 would do is pull back your curtains or blinds to let your room soak up the sunlight. She'd open up your windows to let the fresh, cool air seep in. She would definitely usher you to go step outside—maybe take a walk or chill in a park—as she helps clean up your room. By the time you are back from your mini-adventure, your room would be all nice and clean again.

𝐒𝐀𝐆𝐄 is all about mental healthcare. She would prepare you a soothing hot bath for you to relax in as she cleans your room. She would do everything in her power to make sure you're not embarrassed or ashamed about the situation.

Probably out of all the agents, 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐄 would make it a team effort. Yes, he will help you clean your room, but he also encourages you to aid as well. Not out of punishment, but in a way that feels like you are back in Kindergarten, cleaning up after yourself.

As much as you would think that out of all the agents, 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 would laugh and belittle you; he actually did quite the opposite. He would probably clean it when you are out of your room. He wouldn't want you to feel embarrassed by the thought of someone seeing your room at the state it is in. By the time you come back to your room, it is already perfectly placed how it used to be before your depression had consumed it. If you try mentioning it to Chamber, he'll just brush it off and make it seem like it wasn't a bother to him at all. Heck, he might even say it was child's play.

The only thing 𝐘𝐎𝐑𝐔 would make fun of you for is your water bottle count. He would tease you, saying you have more water bottles than bitches in your room.

If anyone knew you had a depression room, 𝐂𝐘𝐏𝐇𝐄𝐑 would be the first to notice. He doesn't need to use his keen eyes to know you desperately try to keep any agents from your room purely out of embarrassment and shame. Cypher would gently pull you aside one day and talk to you about it. Out of the agents, Cypher understands what it is like for depression to consume their life.

Okay before tma2 blows everyone's ideas to kingdom come, here are some Thoughts about Somewhere Else and how I reckon it would actually work based off what we know...

So the Fears make it through to other realities, that’s for sure, there’s no escape from the horror and tragedy they bring

However, they do not make it through unscathed. So, in the show’s setting this categorisation of 14/15 fears is a human framework, its an imagined structure designed to help the characters understand what they’re facing- but the Fears themselves don’t fall neatly into that structure- they mix and match, they cross boundaries, they can blur together

But the way the Fears emerged in the multiverse was through that finely woven web of tapes- a system deliberately designed to organise and delineate them. As a result, the Fears are now bound by this system, it is innate to them where it wasn’t before. Therefore, any fear/fright/dread that falls outside of those neat little boxes, or tiptoes along the borders no longer feeds them

Somewhere Else, the Fears are much, much weaker than they ever were before; they have no footholds in any of these realities and their means of feeding are severely restricted (sucks to be them ig)

as for jon and martin  specifically:

Jon died when martin stabbed him- but in that transition to the new world(s) when the eye realised (in so much as it can realise anything) that its power was being stripped from it and its one and only remaining avatar was dying, it pulled him away from the end just like after the unknowing

unlike the unknowing, jon is never comatose- the eye is too desperate and he only vaguely conscious so he again chooses to live (its not really a choice just like it wasn’t before but yk) and he wakes up covered in his own blood with a new scar on his chest

jon is still technically the Pupil of the Eye, but in a world where the beholding has no power that title means nothing (years down the line, he will joke that he feels like ‘one of those pricks that buys a lordship’)

any abilities/powers he still has are at the level of power he had in s1, almost non-existent and mostly unconscious

he could theoretically get more powerful/back to s4 levels if he fed the eye but he is so guilt-addled and so so careful to never let that happen

as a result he is physically weak/unwell for pretty much the rest of his life- in his weakest moments, he misses being the archivist, if only because he was able to live without pain. 

Still, an upside is having a human appetite again (someday he will stop feeling bad for sating his normal hunger)

Martin actually spent more time in the hospital than jon after their initial arrival- he tried to shield him from the worst of the debris and broke his shoulder blade-needed some skin grafts too

the pull of the Lonely doesn’t reach him- not in any supernatural sense but his personal melancholy lingers and the white streaks never fade from his hair- the arm never heals quite right and he has chronic pain in that area for the rest of his life

they argue a lot, at the beginning- how could they not? both so convinced of their own rightness, of the other’s betrayal- stubborn down to their bones and so so hurt

they never come to an agreement, no concessions are made and barely any apologies- but as time and distance come between them and that instant, they make a decision to put those feelings down and carry on without them, as much as they can

a new life is hard, they know fear is around every corner, and building an existence where you never had one before is nigh-impossible, but they make it work

they choose love, and each other, over and over, just as they did at the top of that tower
