"My name is Serene Clendon," the young woman introduces herself. "I believe that science can lead a better understanding of the human body and how culture and society affects us. I even believe that this can create an environment that even my future children could thrive in."

Especially now as a young woman was wheeled into the same, her body lays limp on the gurney. He watches as the doctors lay her onto the metal table beside him, tediously strapping every limb they could find. He raises an eyebrow at the strange woman.

"What's she doing here?" He asks, turning his gaze to the doctors who avoid meeting his eyes.

Much like they have since he's arrived to the laboratory, they ignore his questions and continue about their tasks. He continues one question after another, "did she also volunteer? I thought this was a program for soldiers only? Did I miss something?"

Dr. Frederick Vought steps into the room, equipped with protective gear. "Don't be outrageous, Benjamin," he softly snorts, "Serene is a volunteer to science. Your success in leading our country to victory lies within her blood."

"I have searched years to find her since her descent to our great world," Frederick rambles on, shuffling through his tools with the purpose to organize them properly for the surgery. "Such a mysterious person. No fool-proof background checks, no social security. Not even a birth certificate. It's as if she never existed."

"Do you know what a mutant is, Benjamin?" He asks. The boy's mouth opens and closes, searching for an answer. The doctor chuckles, "of course not. I forgot, for a moment, just who exactly I was speaking to."

He sighs, "anyways. The race of Negroes have shown great potential as test rats, their resilient bodies and genetics so unlike their European counterparts. If it wasn't for the average negro, we wouldn't have discovered ways to prevent skin cancer or what chemicals in makeup can be harmful and what cannot."

"As much as I'd hate to say it," he shrugs, "they are America's finest, working mule. Be a shame if we were to just kill them all." Benjamin simply shakes his head in response. "Enough with your monologue, doctor, I'd like to get this process done while I'm still young."

Frederick nods, turning away from the two bodies. "Subjects A-00A1 and A-00A2 are ready. Release the hinderance and begin the process." He steps out of the room, muttering, "by tonight, we will make history."

some notes:

jonny: i really wanted jonny with cornrows/braids to work but it doesn't really align with my personal image of him so i did a test sketch and decided i didn't like it. his natural hair is just gonna flow. his shirt is a fela kuti shirt with the neckline cut off so it sits more loose, and i can honestly see him lounging in sweats and pj pants a lot. he def wears lots of bleach dyed shirts and muscle tanks imo. shoes could either be some of those sherpa lined ox blood red timbs or super beat up yellow slip on vans ... im undecided. he has some piercings and probably pulls a frank ocean and dyes his hair green and gets a buzz cut eventually too. i drew him with piercings but im not really a fan of how it turned out so im ignoring those. i personally hc jonny as aroace, just to mention

nazz: i have an hc or i guess just in my universe nazz is korean-american and dyes her hair like beabadoobee (platinum blonde with grown out roots) and maybe has some electric blue streaks in her hair. she has freckles and a septum piercing and bangle bracelets and wears chokers (i forgot to draw these tho oops). she likes bootcut jeans and halter tops... she def goes braless imo ik thats a weird hc but idk i think she's soooo early 2000s in lots of her lore so it mAkes sense. i wish i had drawn her less skinny, in my head she's more midsize and like pear shaped ig but with thinner forearms and calves. also want to note that her eye makeup is meant to be sharp and exaggerated ... i feel like looking back on this it looks like i made her eyes a very over-exaggerated almond shape but i didn't mean for them to come out that sharp i suppose

sarah: tallllllllllllllllllllllllll asf ! wears a lot of denim shorts and converse. i also think a lot of her little stylistic notes play off of nazz, i have a theory that nazz is like a big sister figure to her and she subconsciously picks up stuff that nazz does because she admires her so much (or nazz gives her stuff/shops with her! i like that better) for example the bangle bracelets, chokers, dark denim, choppy bangs yk. in my head sarah is always wearing chucks and she ofc has her big a$$ mouth. i think she gets braces too

jimmy: crack design bc i got tired but he gets that white boy fade and his ears pierced, skinny jeans and big hoodie, birkenstock boston clogs, probably wears his shirts fitted and cut just above his waist cuz he's a lil slimey like that. lost the headgear but still has braces and an expanded, maybe also got some sort of jaw surgery for his teeth cuz they were fawked

So basically, I've been writing a Bloodline x OC fic for a couple months and found this little random part I wrote for fun. And decided I wanted to post it. hopefully, I don't get clowned on. Basically, it's a mafia AU, and it's like poly bloodline( not between the family just them with the oc) x my chubby ditsy black OC. Yasmine was beautiful. She had medium brown skin and big brown almond-shaped eyes. She has a cute button nose, and her facial features were soft. She had cute dimples and a round face and lips. Her body countered with an hourglass figure. She had big boobs, a slim waist, big round hips, with thick thighs. But she also had a tummy that someone could easily grip. That's where her problem starts. Nothing was ever big enough for her. The style she liked the most had almost nothing for big bodies. Not only that, she would constantly be rejected for her weight. Her ex-boyfriend even cheated on her because he felt she let herself go and didn't even try to lose weight. After that, she met four men with not only, lots of connections and money to get her the things she wanted but also thought she was beautiful in every way, shape, and form. She just didn't know of their feelings toward her yet.

Yasmine sighs in frustration while looking through the racks of clothes in front of her. Everything only went up to a large in the things she liked. She just went up a size, so half her wardrobe would be useless to her. She could just bearly fit what she had on. She wore a tight pink silk dress with darker pink roses scattered on the dress. There was a white lace trimming at the bottom and around the top of the dress. That same lace trimming made the straps of the dress. This dress was supposed to be mid-thigh length but now didn't go too far past her hips sitting on her upper thigh. She had white stockings with Hello Kitty bows at the top of them and a long black coat that sat at her mid-thigh sitting on her shoulders. The dress was hugging everything she had. Yasmine needed to vent her frustrations to someone but didn't know who. That's when she heard her phone ring from her bag. Yasmine unzips her bag and fiddles around in it for a minute to find her phone. She quickly answers not bothering to look at the contact.

"Yas, what are you doing right now?" a familiar, deep voice speaks through the phone. She immediately knew it was Roman and huffed knowing she could vent to him.

"Oh my gosh. I'm sorry but I have got to vent!" Yasmine starts to walk towards the door of the shop while quietly whisper yelling her frustrations to the phone, " Okay so I've been growing out of my clothes, right! So I finally went out today to try and find some cute clothes in my style and not go over my budget, you know because my job is shitty. But no! Forget the budget! I have now been in three stores and have not found a single thing in my size! And it's not like I can go to the store I normally go to." Yasmine finishes with a pout walking down the busy street, finishing her statement. She was making her way to a bubble tea place not too far from where she was. Roman chuckles at her outburst.

"And why can't you go there beautiful?" Roman asks already knowing the answer. Yasmine pout quickly turned into a shy smile at the nickname she was given. She could hear the smile that was on Roman's face.

"Because it's way out of my budget. Things that are made for big people are super expensive and I would only be walking out of there with two items. I could only set aside a little money because my little sister needed surgery and my parents needed help with money. I even had to dip into my savings."

"Is she alright what was wrong?" Roman asks with obvious concern in his voice. He even leaned up in his seat. Yasmine sees the sign for the bubble tea place and speeds up walking.

"I'm not sure what's going on, they didn't say much when they called. they just sounded panicky about it. I should find out something soon." Yasmine walks into the small shop and sits at a table ready to finish her conversation before ordering.

"How about me and Solo take you out then? We'll get you whatever you want out of that store you like." Yasmine eyes widen at his words.

"No! That would be so much money. I cannot let you do that." she fights back.

"Nah I think my mind is already made up beautiful. Where are you? We'll be there soon to get you." Roman quickly shuts down her protests wanting to see her and make her happy.

"I'll send my location," Yasmine sighs knowing there was no use in trying to argue once his mind was made up. She takes the phone away from her ear and opens her messages with Roman quickly sending her location. "There Ro are you happy now?" she asks

"Yes actually, I was going to go out anyway. I've got to prove to the twins I can kick their asses in Mario Cart, so I needed to go get something to play it on anyway."

"Okay then, I'll see you when you get here I'm gonna order my boba."

Yasmine walked through the mall in between both Roman and Solo. The two men just spent an unspeakable amount of money on Yasmine. She didn't even want to see the receipt she had it probably still printing with how much stuff they got for her. And they didn't even bat an eyelash. She was dumbfounded at how casual this was for them. After a while of walking, they got to a gaming store. Roman didn't say much he just went to get what he needed with Solo. This left Yasmine alone to look around the store. She landed herself around the same section where Roman was getting things when something caught her eye. It was an animal crossing-themed switch. it was so cute! She picks it up taking a closer look at it. after looking at the price she decides it's too expensive for her at the moment and puts it back. Solo was keeping a watchful eye on her and noticed this. He walks over to the store clerk and asks him to get the switch.

"Don't worry about it ma. I got it for you," he says to her after joining her in looking at the games. Yasmine looks at him like he has grown a second head. What did he mean he got it for her? All this in a day? How could they afford this?

"What do you mean? Absolutely not. That is not something I need, you should put it back."

"Nope, and you should tell me which games you want before I buy all the ones I even think you looked at." Yasmine wouldn't have believed him had he not said it in such a serious tone. With a pout, she gives him the four games she wants the most while mumbling something about how bossy he was under her breath.

"Don't get sassy with me baby," was all he said and Yasmine choked on nothing while trying to hide the fact his words made her face warm up. She looked at him with wide eyes, turned her head, and looked at more games. Solo noticed everything she didn't want him to. The tint of red creeping on her cheeks, the way her legs were slightly trembling from nervousness, he thought it was adorable. They walked to join Roman and Yasmine was curious.

"What do you guys do for work? Like you've just spent so much money today alone." Yasmine asks quietly so no one around can hear her words and try to mug them or something. Roman laughs and looks at Solo.

"We own restaurants. They're all doing well and give us plenty of money to throw around." he explains Roman bends down to whisper in Yasmine's ear," And you don't have to be cautious about it no one is going to do anything to us beautiful." The hairs on Yasmine's neck stood up at the feeling of Roman's breath that close to her neck.

"And how do you know that?" Roman and Solo share a look before lifting up their shirts enough to show the guns safely tucked on their hips. however, it gave her a view of under their shirts and that made Yasmine blush.

"You can calm down you in good hands baby," Solo says firmly trying to make sure she knew she was safe, "Now come on I want to kick the twin's ass in Mario Cart." he finishes walking to the register. Solo beside him setting yasmines things up so they could be paid for.

"Right hand on the bible, god can strike me down if I'm lying," Roman says in an eerily calm voice before he takes a deep inhale, "BUT THAT MOTHERFUCKERS CHEATING!" he yells pointing at Jey from the other side of the couch while everyone laughs at his outburst. all-day Roman couldn't wait to play Mario Cart so that he could beat the twins and Solo, but after coming in 9th place for the fifth time in a row he lost his cool.

"What's funny? Why are you laughing at me? He's cheating!"

"Nah Uce you just can't handle this heat," Jey says fanning himself. Yasmine busts out laughing at the interaction.

Ziolet Kiddo Refs!!! Varina Edition!

I decided it’s finally time to post the refs for Zach Varmitech and my OC Violet’s children! In total, Zach and Violet have 5 children! Varina, Vera, Victor, Vallen, and Victoria! Ahhh, I know that’s a lot, but I’m living vicariously through them, and I feel like Zach’s the type of guy that, once he has a child, would want more and more, lol. And Violet’s happy to oblige: She absolutely loves being a mommy!

So without further ado, here is their oldest child/daughter Varina!

This is long, so I’m placing the rest below the cut, please note there is mention of pregnancy, stillbirth, premature birth, open heart surgery, and loss of child in this reference.

The Basics:

Birthday: May 31st, 2015 (born six weeks early, was due around July 17th).

A Rainbow After A Storm: Varina is Violet and Zach’s honeymoon baby and rainbow baby. They had a stillborn daughter, Alexandria, in July of 2014, so they were not expecting to have another child so soon after this loss. But they decided to start trying for another baby after their wedding ceremony in October of 2014 and…Violet and Zach found out they were having Varina the day of the Annual Villains Meeting (AKA, the Under Frozen Pond Episode)! Thanks to some deductive reasoning from Gourmand and Donita, lol.

Name Meaning: Varina - Strange, yet to be discovered; Virginia - Pure. Named for the fact that she was a pure, unexpected gift. After losing their first daughter, Alexandria, Zach and Violet never thought they’d become parents, but parenthood found them through the unexpected arrival of Varina! She was also given her middle name of Virginia after Violet (Violet Virginia) and Violet’s mother (Virginia).

Nicknames: Vari (Used by Zach, Martin, and her siblings); Sweet Peach (Used by Gourmand)…More to be added?

Physical Features:

Hair Color/Type: Dark Brown, she gets caramel colored highlights in it as she gets older; her hair is long, nearly waist length, it is naturally wavy/has lose curls. She prefers to style it in braided buns, braids, regular buns, or ponytails.

Eye color/ Shape: Blue-Violet, almond shaped - She emphasizes the color with purple eye makeup like her mother Violet.

Signature Colors: Purple and Gray

Style: Girly, preppy, feminine.

Height: 5’2” - She’s petite like her mom, but she is two inches taller than Violet.

She has Violet’s face structure: a muted triangle, she has Violet’s lips. She has Zach’s nose, she has pierced ears, she has a mixture of Violet’s and Zach’s builds, and she has a scar in the center of her chest from the open heart surgery she had shortly after her birth. She has a fair skin tone that is somewhere in between her father’s and mother’s. As a child she had freckles.

Personality/ Relationships:

Personality: Sassy, snarky, sweet, intelligent, bright, observant, devoted, determined, detail oriented. Varina has Zach’s temper and Violet’s spunky attitude and heart. She’s never afraid to stand up for what she believes, and she won’t take no for an answer when she believes deeply in something.

Relationships With Family: She’s a total daddy’s girl, she’s also a mommy’s girl; she is an excellent and loving big sister to all of her siblings. She takes on more of a friendship role with Vera and more of a protective and caring role with her brothers and Victoria. She acts as a second mother to all of her siblings quite often, leading them to get aggravated with him and tease her about being a second mom to them.

Love Interest/Future Family: JJ Z @rosey100’s OC who is the son of Jimmy Z and Koki. I feel like she and JJ marry and become parents at some point, but I’m unsure of what children they have together, any suggestions @rosey100? I initially headcanoned that she became a young/teen mother, but I’m not so sure anymore. If it did happen, I feel like it would make Zach have a heart attack, but he’s wrapped around her finger so he deals with it and love the baby 💜.

Talents/Career:

Special Talents/ Future Career: Varina is very intelligent like her parents, but her skill set is more in tune with Violet’s. Varina is a talented singer, dancer (ballet is her specialty), and pianist like Violet. She thrives academically in every subject, but prefers history, literature, business, and the sciences, particularly, environmental, biology, and zoology based courses. She graduates Valedictorian of her high school class and maintains a 4.0 GPA throughout college. Varina ends up becoming the joint CEO of Varmitech Industries, along with her brother Victor, following Zach’s passing.

A Few of Her Favorite Things:

Christmas is her favorite holiday, she loves everything about the Christmas season, she also enjoys Halloween.

She typically consumes a vegetarian diet, loving fruits, vegetables, bread, and sweets, but she will eat fish, seafood, and white meat occasionally.

Music: Taylor Swift, Michael Jackson, Elton John, AURORA, Lindsey Stirling, Oh Wonder, The Greatest Showman Soundtrack, Halsey, and Melanie Martinez (she’s got her mother’s music taste) are among her favorites.

Animals/Nature: She love all animals, but her favorites are elephants, bears, foxes, butterflies, cats, giraffes. She also loves all types of flowers and being out in nature during any season, but spring and summer are her favorite seasons. She becomes a Wild Kratts kid early on.

She loved Winnie the Pooh as a child, and other classic Disney animated movies and shows, like Kim Possible, all the princess movies, and any of the movies about animals (Aristrocats, The Rescuers, etc.)

Chapter 29: But He's The Guy You Wanna Do

Summary: Addy returns from the hospital with Meliora in this chapter, happy to rejoin the tour.

Word Count: 2,400 Words

Papa returned with Addeline and Meliora the day after their show. It was time for them to leave for the next city and that meant spending the night on a tour bus with an infant. Addeline was very surprised to see that Swiss had returned to the tour bus she shared with Papa Emeritus. Although he knew it would be torturous to see the couple together, he wanted to be near his child as much as he could.

Upon seeing the woman, he couldn't help but fall into her embrace. She cradled the large man, guiding his head to rest on her shoulder as his silent tears moistened her shirt.

“I thought I lost you,” he quietly said, careful not to let anyone around hear him.

She embraced him tightly before softly nudging him away, just as Papa appeared behind her. Following Papa’s entrance, a beautiful young woman made her way onto the bus to mingle with everyone else.

“Hi,” she said, playfully slapping Swiss on his back as she made her way past him.

Boring a look of skepticism, Addy asked hesitantly, “Who is that?”

“Oh, that’s Aurora. She’s the new ghoulette,” Swiss smiled, sensing Addy’s uneasiness.

Addy was no stranger to jealousy, threatened by beautiful women, and Aurora was certainly beautiful. Her dirty blonde hair cascaded in soft waves down her neck, framing the delicate features of her face. Small, almond-shaped eyes, a rich shade of brown, sparkled with an inner warmth that hypnotized even Addy. The woman’s teeth, resembling porcelain veneers, gleamed with a pristine brightness every time she smiled, and her natural, full lips added an inviting softness to her expression. Aurora’s high cheekbones accentuated her plump cheeks, giving her an air of both elegance and approachability. Her skin, glowing and free from blemishes, reminded Addy of a princess.

“Why is she here?” Addeline prodded for further information.

"The clergy sent her. Papa felt like we needed another soprano.”

"When did she even get here?"

"Uh... Last night. She did the show with us."

“They really needed somebody else? I guess I’m not a good enough soprano.”

Swiss laughed warmly and ruffled Addy’s hair affectionately. “You’re an amazing soprano, kid!”

* In that delicate time after Addeline's surgery, both men in her life were cautious and respectful, waiting at least six weeks before even considering touching her. They were mindful of the potential impact on her recovery and chose to keep their distance, prioritizing her well-being above all else.

This was especially difficult for Papa, having the woman right beside him every night in bed, yet having to resist the strong temptation to touch her. The internal conflict was so intense that he even toyed with the idea of relocating to the other tour bus.

The constant crying of the newborn throughout the night played a significant role in dimming any romantic atmosphere that may have arisen. Addy, worn out from her recent ordeal and the demanding schedule of breastfeeding and sleep training, was also feeling the exhaustion from the non-stop care required for the baby.

Swiss stepped in whenever possible, caring for Meliora, comforting him, and of course keeping Kaisarion occupied when the tike’s mother needed rest. Papa also assisted when he could, but the demands of the tour often kept him occupied, leading Swiss to take on a more paternal role. Copia was too busy to even notice the additional duties of his ghoul. Despite the added responsibility, Swiss embraced this role with a sense of pride and honor.

* After those long six weeks had finally come to an end Addy found herself in Swiss’s hotel room. As everyone headed into town, the couple took the opportunity to have a moment together. The group was excited to explore Russia before having to move on to Germany, but Addy subtly hinted to Papa that she needed rest, while Swiss craftily mentioned his need to stay behind and practice. They knew the band would be busy for a while, giving them a precious chance to be alone and enjoy each other's company.

Addy sat naked with her legs wrapped around Swiss’s bare body as he held the small of her back, his erection pushing into her stomach. They were lost in the moment, their lips gently touching, their embrace filled with warmth and affection.

Swiss longed for a deep connection, and although he didn’t plan on falling for someone already committed, he couldn’t deny the strong bond they shared. He saw Addy in a way that Papa didn’t, paying attention to every detail, understanding her quirks, desires, and anxieties. Addy felt seen by him.

As they made out, Swiss gently touched a spot on Addy’s back, causing her to wince in pain. “Ouch!” she exclaimed, jumping slightly.

Concerned, Swiss looked around to get a better view. To his surprise, there were several blue bruises right where he had touched her in the shape of fingerprints.

“Jesus, Addy, did he do that to you?” Swiss asked, appalled at the discolored patches of skin, “He’s not supposed to be handling you like that right now!”

She swiftly snatched the blanket behind her, wrapping it snugly around her back to conceal the colorful marks.

“He’s been very easy with me—”

“That’s not easy, Adds! Did he at least wait six weeks before he—”

He unintentionally grabbed the sore spot once more causing Addy to yelp, “Goddamn it, just don’t touch me there!”

Swiss, now feeling really frustrated, snapped, “Do you at least wait 24 hours between fucking us?”

Addy’s anger burned fiercely within her. Swiss, her sweet escape, had crossed a line by judging her. How dare he? The thought raced through her mind as she shot him a cold look with her dark, piercing eyes. With a swift yank, she pulled away from him, almost taking the blanket along.

As she hastily dressed herself, Swiss let himself fall back onto the bed, realizing the weight of his words. “Addy?” he called out, hoping for her forgiveness. Ignoring him, she continued buttoning her pants, her determination clear. With her shirt in hand, she started walking towards the door, but Swiss swiftly intercepted, positioning himself between her and the exit. “Come on, Addy! Please don’t go. I’m truly sorry,” he pleaded.

“You don’t get to judge me, Swiss!” she exclaimed, her voice filled with frustration. “You don’t get to talk to me like that. I don’t come here for that.”

He took a short stride towards her, “Then what do you come here for?”

Addy found herself at a loss for words in response to Swiss’s question. As he stood before her, her body language began to relax, her anger subsiding. He spoke calmly, almost whispering, and his charming smile caught her attention, “Damn it,” she thought, feeling a mix of frustration and attraction.

He tenderly placed his hand on the back of her head, pulling her gently towards him. Their faces inched closer, their lips barely touching, creating an intimate and electric connection. The air between them was charged with anticipation at the promise of a passionate kiss.

“Can you take your pants back off?” he laughed, flashing a crooked smile.

She beamed at him and undressed herself once more. She became animalistic, kissing him with tiny bites on his lips, igniting a fiery passion between them. He focused his attention, holding her tightly, and readied himself to swiftly transition to a new position without interrupting her concentration.

He counted to three in his head, flipped her so that she was now on top and plunged back into her again so quickly that a second had barely passed before he was hammering into her again.

“You still cummin’?” he asked, worried she’d have to start building up again from scratch.

“The who?” Copia was confused.

He shifted the conversation while taking a bite of his food. "Amore, I spoke with Sister, and she wants to gather documents for tax season. She needs all the expenses for this current tour since it was such a big undertaking."

“Of course, Papa. Kevin and Ashley keep all that in a folder. I believe it’s on one of the buses.”

Thank you, Amore," he said to her.

As he looked at his wife, he couldn't help but admire everything she'd given him. He wasn't ignorant of the fact that she wasn't entirely satisfied with her position, but he was grateful she accepted it without a fuss. He felt fortunate to have such an obedient wife and chuckled to himself, how worried he once was that she wouldn't marry him.
