And for this series I would like to request Harry doing the 73 questions interview for Vogue and his kids and wife make an appearance (u can choose if the kids are toddlers or teens) and they even answer some questions OR an Howard Stern interview where Harry is asked about his family,maybe the host makes like not so nice-low key shady comments on his wife and on Harry’s daughter coming out story. The day had finally arrived for Harry Styles to complete the 73 Questions with Vogue.

It had come to be the promo for ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ and his schedule was booked with interview after interview after interview, and it wasn’t ideal for this to all be happening months whilst also having to look after three meddling toddlers, one of whom had only recently turned 1 years old.

The house was chaos. Fun, but chaos. And it was also the setting of this interview.

“Alright you lot, this way.” You shoved your children along to your living room, giving Harry the space he needed with Joe Sabia - the interviewer.

“Thank you love, see you later.” He blew a kiss to you and returned his focus to Joe. This interview was the first of many and it was also a major marketing ploy. These types of interviews were so highly recommended for Harry to be involved in and Jeff had thought it was about time for him to do one.

Joe had arrived around 15 minutes ago, just to

run over the script and remind Harry of the pre-determined questions - which reminded him of the answers that you’d run through with him the night before. Now the cameras were set up, the mic people were all at stand-by and Joe was ready it was time to begin. The children had been so fascinated by all these new people, after not seeing anyone for months due to the coronavirus pandemic, which is why it took a lot of trouble to get them to shuffle away from their beloved dad.

A fake door knock arose.

“Harry Styles hello!”

“Hi!” Harry waved at the camera.

“I’m here to do the Vogue 73 Questions, shall we get to it?”

“Of course! Come in!” Harry welcomed Joe into the house and shut the door behind him, not trusting his little ones to not escape if they were running wild.

“Beautiful house! Is it your only one?”

“No, but it’s my only one in London.” Harry made a point of not exploiting how many houses he did have and where they were. In fact, you still didn’t know about the Island that he was currently investing in just for you. You were a huge conservation activist and so Harry thought you could spend your free time helping the fragile ecosystem on this island.

“Did you design it yourself?”

“Me and my wife built the plans, but we go the experts to finish it all off.”

“What’s your favourite room?”

“Um, probably the living room.”

“Why?”

“So many of my favourite memories have happened in there.”

“Could you give us some?”

Harry could give loads, but they were far too precious for him to just give away. The living room wasn’t even a massive room, it was quite quaint with a couple of sofas, a logwood fire and then rugs and paintings on the walls. It was a home within a home. It was where Felix had taken his first steps. It was where Oli had spoken his first words. It was where Belle had fallen over for the first time and given herself nasty carpet burn. It was where presents were opened at Christmas. It was where you and Harry had made love next to the fire. It was where Felix and Oli had had their first tiny argument. It was where you spent family nights. If your house was a map then that room marked X the spot.

It was treasure. Priceless.

“My favourite would probably be when my wife, Y/N, spilt red wine all over the new white carpet and then proceeded to throw white wine over the stain because she’d read somewhere that it helps to get rid of it.” Harry chuckled at the memory.

“Did it?”

“No, God no. The carpet’s grey now.”

Joe laughed, as did Harry.

“I have to say Harry, you’re looking very fashionable today who are you wearing?”

“Gucci.” He blushed, because he knew that everyone would’e known that without question. He was wearing a lilac silk shirt with his name embroidered on it - but really it was to symbolise your last name not his - with a white wife-beater shirt and white shorts. He looked rich.

“Shouldn’t have asked really? Is your wife as much a Gucci avid fan?”

“She hates anything expensive. I think she still wears the same jeans she was wearing at university!” He knew you’d hit him later for saying that.

“So she’s a hoarder?”

“God yeah. She keeps everything and anything.” Harry laughed in admiration.

“Has she always been?”

“Always. When we went on our first date, her bag was so full that she couldn’t find her purse and she was so embarrassed because she thought I would think she was taking advantage of who I was. Anyways I did end up paying that night, but she had actually, I don’t know how, sent me money for her portion of the bill. From that moment I knew it was going to be her.”

“Do you write songs about her?

“Every day.” He smiled at the thought of the one he’d written just this morning.

“Which one is your favourite about her?”

“I don’t know about favourite, but the one I hold closest to my heart is probably ‘Fine Line’.” Harry stopped there, not wanting to share the intimate details of why and Joe respected that.

“Do your children have a favourite song of yours?”

“They go crazy for Kiwi and Golden. Belle loves Treat People and Oli knows the dance to that one actually.”

“Did you choreograph the dance for TPWK?”

“Partially, but I had help from my friend Paul and Y/N helped too actually.”

Harry and Joe had now made it through the house, weaving in and out of rooms, until they had made it to the Garden. Unfortunately, you’d forgotten to shut the bifold doors to the living room and so as soon as Harry came into focus for your children they immediately ran for him. Oli and Felix could run quite well, but Belle was a lot slower. She was only learning how to walk and so she fell a lot, unless she was being supported by you or Harry. Oli reached his dad first and then Felix, to which Harry knelt down to embrace them in ‘super-dad’ hugs as he liked to call them.

“And who do we have here?” Joe asked.

“Trouble.” Harry replied in jest, but whispered something into his boys ears before backing away.

“Hello i’m Oli.” Oli waved proudly to the camera.

“Hi i’m Fix.” Feliz shied into his dads neck, embarrassed of himself. Harry kissed the back of his head and kept a hold oh him around his back for comfort.

“Fix?” Joe asked at the peculiar name.

“It’s Felix, but he can’t pronounce his own name for some reason so we just call him Fix now. Or Flix. Don’t we buddy?”

“Oh my! I’m so sorry about this!” You ran out in panic, knowing your one job was to keep the kids entertained and away from their dad. At least that was the original plan, but both Harry and Joe like this idea so much more. You were blushing red in embarrassment, picking up a fallen over Belle on your way over to everyone else. “So sorry.”

Belle became restless in your arms, reaching forward for her dad. She whined when she couldn’t quite reach and Harry immediately stood up to take his winging daughter from your arms. As he did, he leant into you and whispered in your ear whilst leaving it a warm kiss behind.

“You’re okay love. Don’t be sorry.”

“Hello Y/N!” Joe spoke.

“Hiya! How are you?”

“I’m great, and you?”

“Peachy.” You laughed, leaning down to collect Felix who was making grabby hands at you. Oli was quite happy standing next to both his parents, one of Harrys hands running through his tiny locks of hair.

“So now we have the family together, how do you feel to all be together?”

You looked to Harry smiled to find him smiling back already at you, knowing you both had a very similar answer. “It feels right. It feels like home.” You answered and Harry nodded in agreement, giving Belle a gentle rock in his arms.

“Are you okay with showing your children’s faces publicly?”

“No we’re not.”

“Looks like we have a hell of a lot of editing to do back at HQ.” Joe laughed, but completely understood the reasoning behind yours two decision. If needed, you could re-film scenes of this interview so that it didn’t include your children. Joe had done his best to keep the camera on you and Harry and luckily the children kept their faces buried in their parents necks anyways. “Is that going to be forever?”

“When they are old enough to decide whether they want to be in the spotlight then we’ll see.” Harry smiled, holding onto Belle tighter because all he wanted to do was keep her protected, and his, forever.

“You two seem like very good parents.” Joe spoke sincerely, and it made you swallow down a sob because it was always really lovely to hear such compliments - knowing you’d struggled with postnatal depression.

“Thank you Joe.” Harry nodded respectfully.

“Okay let’s carry on?”

The interview carried on until Harry had answered so many questions. He redid bits, due the children being too involved and he re-filmed answers to questions he found difficult to answer the first time around. He had such a great experience and was happy with the way that the day turned out.

Chapter 4: I guess it qualifies as an introduction?

Phil wasn’t expecting to wake up at 4 in the morning to the sound of laughter.

It wouldn’t be the first time, definitely not the last.

Curiously the avian poked his head into his kids’ room. The laughter wasn’t coming from the gardener, guard, or scientist. The laughter was coming from the assistant who wasn’t in their room. Phil turned his attention down the hall. Sure enough the laughter was louder. Quietly he made his way to the holding cell. Phil sat in a smaller hallway and decided to listen into the conversation… What can he say? He always eavesdropped..

“What even is a you-tube?” The assistant asked through small giggles. To that the human gasped as if he was hurt by the statement.

“You don’t have YouTube?! Or like an alien version of it?!” The human replied, not even trying to hide his shock.

“Erm no?”

“Well it’s like this thing that humans use to make really cool videos and stuff.”

“What’s a video?” Ranboo interrupted.

“They’re kinda like moving photos that usually work as a sort of entertainment or info dump. I could probably tell you thousands of the times my stupid teacher made me watch ‘educational’ videos..”

“So they’re kinda like illusions?”

“Yea but you don’t see 'em in 3D. As I was saying, before I was rudely interrupted..” The enderian let out a small squeak of embarrassment at that, “YouTube is like a thing people use to post videos on. I am totally making an alien version of YouTube when I get out.” The air stiffened at that.

“Tommy.. you probably won’t get out for a while…” Ranboo said, Phil heard one of them shift and the entire atmosphere lost it’s warmth, “It’s not like you won’t get out! It’s just hard… especially when no one really trusts you yet.” Ranboo swallowed, as he usually does when he is uncomfortable, “Even when we let you out of the holding cell.. you probably won’t be allowed off the ship. It’s too dangerous for all of us..” the two fell into a deafening silence. Phil shivered at the tension, making sure to be silent while doing so.

“I assumed as much…” the human started, being the first to break the silence, “I-I… I guess I won’t be going home either… since the ISF absolutely hates us.. plus like you said, only already crazy humans are sent back..” the human sighed sadly.. For the first time Phil felt sympathetic towards a human. With that he decided it was time to start on breakfast.

Three things happened after Tubbo woke up.

One, Ranboo passed out at the table. Phil simply shook his head and picked up the enderian with some unknown strength to the rest of the crew.

Two, a scream was heard from the other side of the ship, causing Wilbur to frantically run to the holding cell.

Three, Techno put his milk in before he poured his tea… I mean who does that?

Ignoring the last strange thing, Tubbo went to check on Ranboo. He was fine, so Phil said. “He only needs rest. Leave them be.” Was what Tubbo got as he peered into the enderian’s room. Shrugging off the weird behavior Tubbo made his way to the garden.

Before he made his way to the garden he noticed the human wasn’t in the holding cell. That meant he was probably in the lab… Which meant Tubbo would have to meet him.. Oh prime no. That’s not gonna happen.

He started sprinting to the garden. It was just passed the lab if only he took another step-

“Tubbo, I need your help.” Wilbur said from behind him. The droneling turned around reluctantly. Holding his breath he made his way into the medical part of the lab.

[gore and distressed characters, skim if you need to]

There, laying on the bed, was a human. He held back a scream which came out as a labored gasp. Sweat was bubbling on his forehead. With that he turned to Wilbur who examined the human from a distance.

“Go get some bandages and the stitching kit.” Wilbur commanded. Without hesitation Tubbo ran to grab the items. Wilbur took both objects and disinfected a bad cut on the human’s arm. He hadn’t even realized there was a cut until Wilbur cleared off the strange red blood. Wilbur then proceeds to stitch the wound and bandage the irritated wound.

That’s when Tubbo noticed the amount of blood the human lost. Most species wouldn’t be able to handle that much blood loss, but here was the beast of the galaxy, completely fine in a matter of minutes after losing quite a bit of blood.

When Wilbur was satisfied, he picked the human up and carried him back to the holding cell. Tubbo was unable to stop himself from following. Before thinking the droneling sat at the table and watched as Wilbur finished cleaning the human.

“Er.. do you want me to grab Techno so you can stay in here?” Wilbur asked, noticing Tubbo sitting in the corner.

Without saying a word Tubbo gave a small nod. Wil didn’t push like he usually did and left to get Techno.

Tubbo got up and approached the sleeping human. He was skinnier than what Tubbo thought humans should be. There were odd dark circles under his eyes and his hair clearly hadn’t had a good wash for what looked like months. He had injuries over his body and was practically shaking in his sleep.

Since Tubbo was preoccupied, he barely noticed Techno enter, or the door closing. Let alone the clangs and thuds from other crew mates.

He was preoccupied by the strange human who was sleeping in front of him.

The human stirred and the droneling stumbled away.

After a few seconds the human sat up and looked at the now fallen droneling.

“What the fuck?”

Tommy didn’t expect another alien to push their luck in his space. But here he was.

The alien was smaller than Tommy by a lot. Further proving Tommy was the biggest man. Unlike the other aliens this one wasn’t threatening upon first glance.

The one from last night had been way more intimidating at first. Being way taller than Tommy and having weird lanky limbs and magical purple glowing orbs surrounding them. They had horns and a half and half complexion. One half of the alien being white with grey and purple freckles along with a red eye. The other half being a purplish black with grey and green freckles along with a green eye. They wore a suit with a red tie and dress shoes. He also had two tails of the same colors as his complexion. All of this being forgotten after they stammered through their introduction. It was honestly hilarious.

This alien was very different from the others. They had brown messy hair, encasing black antennas and small black bumps that resembled horns. Their skin was a honey peach color and practically glistened. There were strange hexagon patterns over their face along with three black stripes on either side of their face. They had bee wings, which was the only thing Tommy could relate to the alien too. There was also a black fuzzy tail, similar to a stinger, poking out of their pants. Their hands were lanky and pointed, completely black. There was also soft yellow fuzz poking out of their sleeves and holes in their pants. They wore ripped jeans along with a long sleeved green button down shirt. Their eyes were another thing entirely, being a honey brown in certain light but could also shift to a greenish blue in other light. They had fly-like pupils.

After a minute of them sitting in an awkward stance the alien got up. Using their wings to properly position them in a standing position. They brushed themselves off and approached Tommy.

“You lay a finger on anyone here and I will kill you. Understand?” The alien said, any intimidation that was lost from the alien falling was regained in an instant. The alien poked him in the chest with one of the lanky fingers, which started burning like acid after a minute.

Since Tommy was too, sacred, poggers to move he simply nodded, which is absolutely the best response to the situation. Sadly the alien didn’t get the gesture and dug their nail into his chest even more. Seriously, it was starting to really burn.

“Y-yes.” Was all Tommy could muster. The alien was satisfied with the answer and let go of Tommy. They walked out of the now open door. Shortly after Techno followed the door closing behind him. Tommy never realized the other alien was in the room.

For a split second the interaction reminded him of his dad.

The way his dad did the same thing to his mom when she didn’t listen.

Or when his sister didn’t follow his dad’s friend.

Or when Tommy made a mistake.

Except instead of a nail, it was glass, or a punch, or sometimes a knife…

He shook off the thoughts and reminded himself that the aliens weren’t his father, nor were they going to do that to him.

They wouldn’t do that right?.. Right?

Tommy slapped his face, only to find there were silent tears flowing down his cheeks. He quickly wiped his cheeks and continued his train of thought.

Tommy trusted too easily. That in the end is how at nine he ended up getting beat up in his first foster home. He condemned himself for trusting the aliens. They were strangers. He knew nothing of them and they knew more about him. This was the moment in which Tommy shut himself off. Where he regained the ability to leave his blind trusting instincts.

Life update.

- I have run 3 times this week and twice I motivated myself to go. I'm proud!!!! Felt so much better for today's run tho, just have to get dogga a longer lead so I'm not kicking him almost

- Netball is postponed till further noticed. I'm gutted because I love it and I'm doing sooo well, but also keen on running and building up my fitness.

- flatmate isnt going away in may for 6 months anymore. we are gutted, and ita cemented our choice about asking her to move out the end of the year.

- I had a surprising letter asking me to book an appointment for my cyst.. so I have that on the 30th (hopefully). Totally surprised as I wasnt expecting it for 4 months or more. I'm really glad because I'm uncomfortable a lot lately.

- Joel and I are hopefully going to get some time away this weekend. Just a day trip somewhere because I've been working so hard and he needs/deserves some K girl loving time.

- My plan to stay on top of school work is working better! I'm really really glad. Literally not having a chance to eat lunch in the staff room but it means I go home and get to spend real time with Joel.

- Mum cancelled her Europe trip, obviously hahaha. So shes away doing a small trip in NZ and last night my sister text and asked if I wanted to go for dinner on saturdag and it was nice. I'm glad that as we get older we get closer.

- Life is good, tired, poor, happy, dreaming, busy, good. Over this bloody corona virus thing and the craziness its created, but the virus is not near me just yet. The shopping craziness is beginning

Have you today?

Looked in a mirror? Not on purpose. We just have several mirrors in the house that I unavoidably pass by and look at.

Watered a plant? Not today, but my dad has asked me to do it a couple of times in the last week.

Worn denim? I haven’t worn outside clothes in almost a monthhhhh. And that includes denim.

Washed your hair? Technically yes. I took a shower at around 1 AM? before heading to bed.

Been in pain? Kind of. My left eye has been irritating me almost every night/morning since the year started; sometimes it gets incredibly swollen, sometimes it just feels like something is stuck in my eyelid. Either way it’s always uncomfortable and painful.

Had a nap? Haha, not yet. But since the lockdown started I’ve been having an afternoon siesta everyday. Brushed your teeth? Yeah, it came along with the ^ above 1 AM shower. Kissed someone? I haven’t been able to kiss my girlfriend in almost three weeks now and I’m miiiiiserable. Used a cheese grater? Nah, I haven’t used one in a while.

Eaten something sweet? Not yet. I might eat a few pieces of chocnut later though. Spoken to a stranger? Not today, but we did have a village guard knock on our door earlier to give my dad a quarantine pass – it’s to confirm that he’ll be the only one in the family allowed to leave the house in case we need to go to the groceries or something. I peeked by the front door to listen to the interaction, but I didn’t speak with the guard myself. Dropped something? Sure. My bottle of eye drops. Felt upset in some way? You can say that. There’s a new trend on Facebook where groups are created so certain universities can just trashtalk one another as a joke. It was funny at first but there are some posts that have gone too far, personal, or both, and it obviously hasn’t been good for my mental health lol. Drank coffee? Not yet today. I usually have it in the evening. Walked for more than thirty minutes? I also haven’t walked much in three weeks. That’s kinda what’s supposed to happen when your entire city is put on lockdown. Signed up for something? No. I’ve logged in to certain sites, though. Travelled in a car? I also haven’t been in a car in the last couple of weeks. I was able to ride with my dad the night before they imposed the lockdown – we were visiting my grandpa in the columbary because it would’ve been his 80th birthday that day. Opened a can? Nope. Thought about doing something crazy? At the back of my head I always think of driving up to see Gab because I miss her a lot, but it just remains a crazy thought in my head. Listened to a new song? Yeah. I have a couple of saved playlists and I don’t know like 94% of the songs in both of them, so I’m always listening to a new song everyday. Written in a notebook? I haven’t. I’ve written on a piece of paper, though. Fed an animal? Yup, my dog needs his breakfast. Checked your emails? LOL NOPE, and I don’t plan to check them any time soon. Told someone you love them? Yeah, before we both turned in at like 3 AM lol. Made a phone call? Yeah I also called my girlfriend earlier.

Update: I skipped this survey the whole day and now it’s 10:30 in the evening, and I’ve already done a bunch of stuff I said no ^ to earlier lmao but am too lazy to change. Let’s gooooooo

Travelled on a bus? Nah. The bus personally isn’t my main mode of transpo and I only get to ride them when I’m in a group and there’s no choice but to ride a bus, like for field trips or for group itineraries during vacations.

Washed your face? Yeah. I did this today because my face was feeling annoyingly oily. Put a face mask on for the first time in a long time.

Used a blender? No. I don’t think we even have a blender at home, cos no one ever makes stuff that needs to be blended.

Received a phone call? Sure. Gab and I called several times in the last week, and my grandma has also called from time to time to check up on us because the lockdown has kept us from seeing her regularly.

Talked to someone you dislike? I...don’t think so. If I did I’d definitely talk to Gabie about it, and I haven’t done that with her haha.

Consumed alcohol? Ugh, bleck. Yeah. I wanted to get buzzed last week and a bottle of Jack Daniel’s is the only thing we have in the house so I had a small sip and just... disgusting. Whiskey is just not my thing, so never again.

Eaten pasta? Spot on. We had spaghetti for dinner tonight.

Planned for an event? There is no event to plan, and it’ll stay like this for the next 3-4 months probs.

Asked someone for a favour? Sure, I asked Gab to be the one to write the write-up that’s going to be on my college yearbook.

Watched something funny? I’ve been watching tons of these to fight off boredom during the break.

Trimmed your nails? Yep, they were getting long and uncomfortable so I got rid of them.

Browsed Reddit? Also yep. School kept me busy for a couple of months and I wasn’t able to use Reddit then because I’d usually pass out by evening. But right now I have more than enough time to browse it, so I’ve been doing some catching up.

Talked to yourself? I guess? Not as much as before the lockdown though, because I’ve already been usually by myself throughout this break, and don’t feel the ~need to talk to myself.

Purchased tickets for something? Nah. They cancelled almost all future events up until May or June...there’s no tickets to be bought at all to begin with.

Felt like you were annoying someone? Meh, it happens every now and then.

Cleaned a toilet? I’ve never done this at all.

Reminisced about the past? LMAO yeah. Someone created a Facebook group that lets alumni from my high school just shit-talk the school and bring back (and reveal) old drama, scandals, and controversies. It’s hilarious, it hasn’t pissed me off, and past students exposing teachers who turned out to be trash and/or perverts is so satisfying.

Used headphones? I haven’t had headphones in a while.

Laughed with a friend? Yeah, but just virtually. I haven’t heard most of my friends’ voices in a while.

Cooked dinner and then didn't feel hungry? Nah. I HAVE helped my dad make dinner a few times this week, which is like huge baby steps for me in learning how to cook haha.

Written a list? I don’t think I have in the last week.

Played an instrument? Nope. Felt jealous or envious? It happens. Ignored a text message on purpose? Lol yeah I guess. There were times I got fed up with Gab being such a slow replier that when she replies, I stopped wanting to open my inbox. Congratulated someone? I just did! UP’s med school results were released a few hours ago and I congratulated my friend Michelle for passing. Her decision was super clutch – she initially passed med school as early as high school but she declined it so she can take journalism instead, because it’s what she thought she liked at the time. Four years into the course and she realizes she hated it, so she made the really clutch decision to review for med school exams and she ended up passing every single one she took, UP being the icing on the cake. Honestly I wish I had balls like her.

Rewatched one of your favourite tv shows or movies? I rewatch Friends at least once or twice a month, so ya got me there.

Called a plumber? We haven’t needed to do this.

Been to a see a doctor? Yup, an optometrist. Something’s been going on with my left eye for a while, so I went in to have a checkup a couple of weeks ago.

Finished a book? I did :o I had to read an entire book to make an essay for my business news class. It’s an investigative piece on the fast food industry, which I honestly dig, so I didn’t have a hard time reading and finishing it.

Had a crush on someone? Sure.

Travelled on a train? Definitely haven’t done this at all, except for that one time three years ago when I had to do it with Jum to go to the House of Representatives in Manila.

Worn heels? I don’t think I did, no. Been to a friend's house? Yeah, I was at Gabie’s a couple times before the lockdown started. Shared a bed with someone? ^ Just her. Been to see a movie at the cinema? Haven’t been to since Knives Out last December. Paid attention to celebrity drama? Nah. High school drama though, I’ve been all over that the last couple of days lmao. Felt anxious? I feel it at least once a day. Taken an elevator? Sure. Given someone the cold shoulder? Only when I don’t reply to Gab because she takes too long to reply, lol yeah. It doesn’t last too long though; it’s just a playful tantrum thing. Purchased a new book/game/movie? Nah, I think I find most of my content on YouTube/Netflix anyway. Applied for a job? Hahahahahahahahahahhaha not yet don’t rush me. Used a printer? I don’t think so. Had lunch in a park? But do we have parks at all? Lmaooooooooo Gotten a manicure or pedicure? Definitely not into those. Made an appointment? Ish? If the one with the optometrist counts. Had a blood test done? Not since 2010. Suffered from a major bruise? Lol dude I haven’t moved a lot in the last few weeks, there’s absolutely no reason for me to get a bruise. Researched a topic in-depth? Yes. Gab and I went to BGC for a whole night of partying, and when everyone went home we stayed so we can go bar-hopping, and there’s a place called Barcade that’s...well, you get the name. ANYWAY they had sooo many vintage arcade games and a couple of pinball machines, and we didn’t waste time playing each of them. It was sooooo fun.

Worn a costume? I was Dora for Halloween, so yup.

Been thrift shopping? I don’t...think so?

Thought about getting pregnant or got pregnant? Hell no.

Been stargazing? I’ve been doing this a lot recently cos I’ve been staying at the rooftop at night more often. And with everyone at home, the light pollution has been clearing up and the stars have been so much easier to see.

Been to the dentist? Oh yeah. I had a really bad toothache throughout December but the dentist took it all away ahhdkjfhdjsfhsf I’m so grateful lmao.

Created a budget? Nah lmao I would never be able to follow it.

Had surgery of any kind? Nope and I hope I’ll never need one.

Been in a car accident? NO thank god hahahahahahaha Purchased something worth over a grand? Yep, one of my Christmas gifts for Gabie was well around two grand. Pesos though, so that’s like roughly $40. Been on vacation at least 500km/300mi from home? Yeah, we always do at least one of these when my dad’s home. Applied for an academic course? Does enrolling count? I’m still in college lmao. Had your photo taken by a professional? I had my grad shoot taken last January.

Then the past few years he got it back slowly but eventually till it was taken from him once again. Now he’s trapped God knows where, the last thing he saw was Steve as he called out his name but then everything felt odd and he fell or drifted. He’s not sure.

He woke up to nothingness so after he got his bearings (remembering his name and such, the usual) he decides to start walking and just keeps on doing that.

He’s not sure when the trees started appearing and the ground beneath him but it wasn’t natural that he knew.

They were trying to stop some big strong purple guy from getting a bunch of powerful stones he thinks but judging on where he is he believes maybe they hadn’t succeed or maybe he’s just a casualty.

It takes him a few hours to run into others like him...though none worth him stopping for. He walks further. He sits down and rests, sometimes even closing his eyes and sleeping if you can call it that. He never eats. He’s never hungry.

It takes him a while until he’s in full isolation again. He thinks he might like that better than people gathering around each other screaming, crying, begging, losing it on the outside like he was losing it on the inside.

A day or two after he starts walking, though now he’s not sure for what purpose, he sees someone that does catch his eye. He’s small, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. His body is hunched over on a rock, his face hiding in his arms.

Bucky is too far away to know for sure but he looks like ………Steve.

Steve before the war, before all this shit.

He walks faster to the kid almost jogging as he makes his way. “Steve?” He says quietly as he nears. “I was so afraid that-”

But it’s not Steve. He can see now the kid has longer hair, darker too. So he just stands there. On the plus side if it was Steve that’d mean Bucky was definitely dead...but on the other hand right now he’s not sure if he’d rather be or not. And now he’s probably freaking out the already freaked out kid that is actually by him.

“Hey…” Bucky says softly. “Kid?”

He holds out his hand but thinks better of it. The kid is already freaked out, don't want a strange man who looks like he could play the role of Jesus in a play reaching out and telling you “you’re okay”. He’d have an even harder time explaining to the he’s not actually dead then. Yes I choose to look like this but I’m not the son of God, and we might be in some stone dimension.

The kid turns to him and Bucky holds up both hands.

“Hey, sorry I thought you were...someone else and I…” Then I thought it’d be weird to run up to someone and at least not see if they were okay. “I lost my…” Bucky starts. “Steve...in the war.”

“You lost your Steve?” the kid asks and he can sense a light humor to his voice.

Bucky gives a small smile and looks down. “...yeah.”

The kid nods and moves his legs out from under him, spreading them in front. ‘I’m starting to think we’re the lost ones.”

Bucky nods with that. “How long have you been here?” He asks.

The kid shrugs. “Hour or so.” Bucky is shocked. He was sure he was looking at half a week or more. “You?”

“I umm few days.”

The kid’s confused expression matches his. “The snap was supposed to be immediate...according to that Footloose guy.” The kid says almost to himself then seems to calculate that in his head. “So time is meaningless here...great.”

“Snap?” Bucky asks.

“Yeah…infinity stones or something. This big alien guy wanted all of them and when he does…” the kid gestures to the space around them.

“How do you know all of this?”

“I lost someone too,” the kid starts. “Mr. Stark,” He shakes his head and looks down again.

“Howard?” Bucky lets it out too quickly before thinking logically.

This catches the kid’s attention. “No. Tony. How do you know Howard?”

Oh we go way back. “I…” Bucky’s not sure if he wants to reveal his identity just yet he didn’t really have the best reputation on Earth and especially not where the Starks came in. “I knew him. When he was young.”

The kid looks at him like he’s crazy. “You’d have to be…”

“101 years old?” Bucky answers.

“Really?” Bucky shrugs.

“Bucky Barnes.” Bucky says and offers out his hand. “But you might know me more as-”

“The Winter Soldier.” The kid finishes.

“Yeah but I-”

“That wasn’t you...I know.” The kid gives a sympathetic look and Bucky decides not to ask how he knows as curious as he was. “I’m Peter.” The kid holds out his hand. “We’ve actually met before.”

They shake slowly, Bucky’s eyebrow going up in confusion. “You had a different metal arm then” Peter points to it. “That one looks even cooler though”

“Thanks,” Bucky says. “When did we meet?”

Peter holds out his hand that was in a grip revealing a mask.

“Of all the things I’m kind of glad I didn’t end up here wearing the suit. It can get so uncomfortable in so many ways.”

“Wait…” And Bucky remembers. The airport. “You were the Spiderkid?”

“Spid.. Spiderman”

“God.”

“I had an update too but I guess I wasn’t allowed to keep it in here.”

Bucky’s about to comment something but they hear footsteps near them. He motions for Peter to get up and the kid does so quietly. The fake trees looks to be russleing and Bucky pulls the kid tighter to him not sure who or what lurks behind them.

A man comes out and Bucky’s grip loosens a little but still tight keeping the kid behind him.

“What the fuck. I hate this shit.”

The man looks up and Bucky recognizes his face. Sam. Though he’s not sure seeing him is a good thing or a bad thing.

Sam’s recognition of Bucky comes immediately as well. “You’ve got to be fucking kidding me?” He comes towards Bucky. “The first person I see in this place since getting here and it’s you” Sam looks up to the sky. “I’m in hell”

Bucky smirks and lets his protective stance fall.

Sam looks past Bucky to the kid behind him. “So what you adopt a kid in the half hour we’ve been here?”

“Half hour?”

“Oh I’m Peter,” Peter reaches over Bucky and holds out his hand for a shake. “We’ve met before too actually”

“I wouldn't…”, Bucky mumbles behind him. “I wouldn’t mention that.”

“Right and what’s your deal?”

“Oh he thought I was ...Steve?”

Bucky sighs.

“Aren’t you missing like 4 inches? And about a hundred pounds?”

“Younger...Steve I thought maybe…”

“He’d be here with you” Sam finishes.

Bucky looks down and lets out a small “Yeah” and Sam doesn’t press on, doesn’t talk about how stupid that might be. Bucky might not be Sam’s favorite person but he knows how much he loves Steve and how often they get unfairly separated.

“I think maybe we should stick together,” Bucky suggests after a few moments of silence. “Since we’re somewhat acquainted.” And there’s no way he’s leaving this kid behind.

Sam nods in agreement. Peter smiles and nods with him.

“Sooo,” Sam starts. “Any ideas on how to get out of here?”

Weeks pass, or rather it felt like weeks to Bucky. He’s still not sure how time works for everyone here or if they were on the same page now that they were together. They meet others along the way but mostly stick with each other.

They still didn’t need food but slept a lot, like sleeping made up for their other basic needs. Though they guess maybe souls do need to rest once in a while. On week 2 Bucky wakes in the middle of the night (?) to Peter next to him rocking back and forth. The kid was usually fairly calm and collected usually making jokes throughout the day.

“Hey,” Bucky whispers sitting up. “You alright?”

Peter doesn’t seem to hear.

“Peter?” Bucky moves closer to him and the kid looks towards him.

“I left everyone behind.” He starts, staring back to the distance he was looking at before. “May. Ned. All my friends think I’m dead. May is probably losing her mind. Mr. Stark...if May didn’t kill him yet he’s…” Peter breathes in. “What if we don’t get out of here?”

“We will,” Bucky says with more confidence than he thought he had.

“How do you know?”

“I just do.” Bucky says, Peter looks at him desperately. “Though he’s a punk for it...Steve won’t stop till he finds us or gets us out and Tony….well if he cares as much about you like it seems from the way you talk about him well...that’s a good man to have on your side too. And who knows who else they have. It’s only a matter of time.” Bucky looks around them. “And we have plenty of that.”

He looks at Peter who seems satisfied by his answer. Bucky reaches over and puts his arm around Peter and pats his shoulder in comfort. He lets go and lets his arm fall back by him.

Peter looks down at Bucky’s hand. “You know that really is a cool looking arm.”

Bucky rolls his eyes and tries to scowl but breaks into a smile instead.

“You know this girl about your age actually made it for me.”

“Really?” Peter asks already sitting up straighter ready to hear the details. So Bucky sits there and tells Peter all about Shuri and what she did for him. Then about the arm and how it’s made of Vibranium, about Wakanda, his little peaceful farm. The kid goes to sleep that night excited about meeting her in the outside world once they get there.

Another week later and Bucky wakes one morning to the sight of his arm. It’s not metal no it’s flesh like before the war, before he…

He sits up for at least an hour just staring at it before Peter wakes up. Sam still fast asleep near the long burned out fire.

Peter walks over to Bucky who is touching and poking at his arm not thinking anything of it until

“Woah is that?”

“My arm.” Bucky says softly, he’s not sure the emotion he feels. “What is this?”

Peter waits a moment before answering or maybe he was thinking. “Time stone.”

“The what?”

“Time stone they must’ve got it. You can go back in time...change things, stop other things from happening.”

“You mean?”

“Has to be it? Maybe they changed whatever made you lose it?”

Bucky’s not sure if that’s a good thing or bad thing as the knowledge of the events didn’t come to him, if it ever would. “But why here?”

Peter shrugs. “Maybe it changes in here and then when you go back out there,” he points indicating the real world. “Then the memories catch up?”

Bucky sighs and shakes his head. This shit was just getting more confusing.

It doesn't last long though Bucky wakes up a few days later to his arm missing again but it strangely makes him feel more like himself if anything but that means the fall...it still happened and Steve couldn’t save him.

A day later his old metal arm returns, red star and everything and Bucky can’t wait to get the fucking thing off. Steve better let Stark still blast it off or something so he doesn’t have to see the shit again. And sure enough the next week that happens exactly and he’s back to vibranium arm.

Nobody else changes like he does. The kid briefly lost his Spiderman mask, then it was some weird red mask with goggles, then back to the one he came in with. Sam said a scar on his leg disappeared and then reappeared but he isn’t going to show Bucky or anyone.

“Guess Riley is still gone then.” Is all he says.

But the changing soon stops and they think maybe that’s it. Either what they wanted to do with time travel worked or it didn’t and they’re trying something else.

It’s silence for a while, a long while. Till Bucky wakes up again one day to screaming. He thinks it’s the kid until he realizes it’s him...and he’s in pain? And a lot of it.

It doesn't make sense no one has felt anything here except occasionally tired but fuck was he hurting and there’s nothing he or anyone could do.

“Is this it?” Steve asks, pointing to the shining object down a deep cave.

“Orange freaky alien stone?” Tony mocks. “Yeah I think so.”

Ignoring the fact that it took some Stark tech to even see the thing from the height they were at Steve jumps down the hole, though this time Tony had forced a parachute on his back just in case.

“Cap!” Tony calls out annoyed and presses his suit to cover up his body fully again before he flies down to follow Steve. “Don’t wait up.” He jokes as he lands.

Steve is already by the stone, his hand dropping down to it.

“Wait don’t” Tony calls out before Steve grabs it.

He shouldn’t have been able to do more than poke his finger on it before he’s sent back but somehow Steve is able to grab the stone without anything. He does feel pain sure. His eyes even close because of it and he can hear...screaming. He tries to focus on the screams but Tony is by him hitting his arm and telling him to drop the stone in some metallic container Tony has held out. Steve drops it in shaking his head in confusion.

“You alright?” Tony asks.

Steve nods. “Yeah just...thought I heard something.”

Steve only holds the stone for a second and as quickly as the pain attacked Bucky it disappears.

After that day it’s quiet again this time much longer. It feels like months pass. They change location. More weeks pass. Nothing. Bucky almost begs for pain, his old arm back, a new scar, anything to show that something is happening.

“You think they would have hooked us up with some tv or something.” Sam says. “Some music maybe? This soul stone bullshit sucks.”

“We could interact with more people?” Peter suggests.

Buck and Sam look at each other. “Fuck no.”

They laugh but watch as Peter makes new friends and gets to know more people. He relays their stories to Bucky and Sam when he comes back to sleep in their own little camp.

And then one day something happens. The sky turns a blinding yellow unlike any sun Bucky has ever seen. The kid is the first to say anything as he turns to Bucky.

“Mr. Barnes?”

Bucky watches as the trees and surrounding plants around them start dissolving and a sense of peace washes over him. “What have I been telling you, kid? Looks like they found a way.” He smiles at Peter as they both look around them at the disappearing atmosphere.

“What do we do?” Peter asks as a white light appears, almost like a beam trying to find the lost souls.

“I guess head towards that.” Bucky answers.

“You guys seeing this?” A voice behind them asks and Bucky turns around to Sam running towards them past the now disappearing rocks and plants by them. They watch as others head to “the light” proving Bucky’s hypothesis.

“Should I say ‘Beam me up, Scotty’ before I go to it?” Peter says, jokingly.

“Huh?” Bucky asks to Sam’s amusement. “That’s neither of our-”

“Nevermind”

“-names”

“It’s a show,” Sam clarifies clapping Bucky on the shoulder. “Way after your time.”

Bucky is about to roll his eyes at Sam when a strong surge of pain strikes through his body. It’s like before but worse. He cries out and falls to his knees.

“Hey, man you alright?” Sam asks.

“Mr. Barnes?” Peter adds running to Bucky.

Bucky nods, groaning. Sam crouches next to him. “I’m fine.” Bucky says then looks at Peter. “Go,” he moves his head to the beam.

But Peter isn’t moving. “You said we’d stay together.”

“And we will. I’ll be right behind you I swear.” Bucky winces trying to get up but failing. “I’ll be there, I promise.” He looks at Peter. “And I don’t break my promises.”

Bucky offers him a comforting smile before he tells him to go again. Peter listens, walking to the beem and looking back once more before disappearing like the others.

Another stab of pain courses through Bucky’s body and he cries out dropping back down to the ground. Sam is by him.

“Hey, what’s going on? What is this?” Sam asks, voice full of concern, a shocking change from his usual demeanor around him.

Bucky shakes his head. “Something out there…” Bucky starts, trying to talk through the pain. “Maybe it doesn’t want me out.”

He looks at Sam kneeling by his body. “Maybe…” Bucky breathes in sharply as more pain echos through his body. “...maybe not everyone is meant to get out. Maybe I’m not meant to.” He says through gritted teeth.

He looks to where the kid disappeared to minutes before and back to Sam.

‘But you still can.” He offers Sam a smile, similar to the one when he told Steve he was going back in Cyro. God it seems like a lifetime ago now. He watches as Sam contemplates what he just said. “Can you just do something for me?” He doesn’t wait for Sam’s answer. “Tell Steve I l-”

“Nah” Sam shakes his head and stands up. Bucky is shocked. He figured long ago Sam didn’t like him but this was basically his dying wish. But Sam continues. “You’re going to tell him yourself.”

“What I?” He tries to move but the pain won't let his legs budge. “I can’t…”

“Look I will drag your ass out of here if that’s what it takes,” Sam says sternly.

Bucky is shocked. “You’ll what-?”

Sam leans down to grab Bucky’s arm and swing it behind his neck as he lifts Bucky up from the ground. “Come on. It’s time to get out of this shithole.”

Steve was supposed to be the one to “wield” the stone. He had held it a few minutes when they found it without much struggle but Thor insists upon it since he is a God and all and Steve doesn’t bother arguing. As little by little people started appearing around them they realize it’s working. The number increased faster and faster though they impatiently wait for their own to to come back. It seems the stone decides to keep those for last.

“Do we know how they’ll come back?” Steve asks. “Is it just in random places or?”

“They return to the last one they saw,” Bruce says. “Unless...otherwise unable.”

“What’s that mean otherwise unable?”

“Means if they’re dead,” Tony interrupts as his phone rings in his pocket. He sees the caller ID of a woman who lost the one she loved most, a kid Tony was responsible for. He hits the end call button and watches it go to voicemail. Tony clears his throat. “Can we put a rush on this? I got yoga in a few hours.” He says with his usual tint of humor but Steve knows. They all know.

“How do we know when all of them are out?” Steve asks next, looking to Bruce who reads through whatever lore they managed to find in the time since half the universe disappeared.

“Says when the one the wielder of the stone loves most appears...or something to that effect.”

Thor drops his head “I’m sorry.” He opens up his hand towards Steve. “I lost all I loved before this happened.”

Steve sighs and looks sadly at Thor. None of them had asked. None of them wondered why the usually light God of Thunder had a sundden tint of darkness to him now. They had just focused on the task of defeating Thanos and getting everyone back. They never figured… “Thor I’m sorry…” Steve says.

Thor holds up his hand and shakes Steve’s apology away. “It’s no worry. We all lost a lot. I’m just glad I can help get some back”

Steve nods and takes the stone from Thor becoming the wielder himself. Though since he’s not as powerful as a GOD it does take some effect on him but he powers through.

Tony gets another call and again it’s Aunt May. He breathes in sharply and again hits the ignore call button.

“You know she hates when I do that,” a small voice behind him says, and it sounds so familiar but yet so foreign to Tony now. “Always get a lecture afterwards about how is she supposed to know if I’m in trouble or not if I keep ignoring her calls.”

Tony turns around and sees Peter, looking exactly the same as he did when he saw him turn to dust, begging to not go.

“You’re…?”

Peter shrugs. “Don’t worry I already called May-” Peter tries to say as he’s clashed with a tight hug from his mentor. “Is this a hug Mr. Stark?”

Tony chuckles. “Yeah, kid. It’s a hug.” They break away. “Now go home to your aunt before she hunts me down for keeping you even longer.”

“Yeah I told her I’ll be home but I had something to take care of first.” He looks at Steve and the stone.

“Pete you don’t-”

“I’m an Avenger now...remember?”

“Yeah, I do but-”

“Plus...someone made me a promise. I have to see if he follows through”

Tony sighs but accepts Peter’s answer, though unaware at what the kid was talking about.

Steve lets out a loud groan as he struggles with the stone.

“You alright, Steve?” Bruce asks.

“Maybe I can take it back for a bit?” Thor asks.

“No,” Steve groans again. “I got it”

“You sure? Maybe it’s done. I mean how can you be sure who’s supposed to come through-” Bruce starts.

“I know who I lost,” Steve says and powers on, closing his eyes as he struggles.

“What’s that?” Tony asks moments later, pointing to the distance.

Steve opens his eyes and looks to the direction Tony points. He sees 2 figures. One practically carrying the other. He squints through the now annoyingly bright light. Was that the sun?

“Could just be some hurt citizens?”

“Looking like that? Pretty sure this is the one time we didn’t destroy the city in the process of saving it,” Tony retorts.

But then as they come closer they become clear. Steve can make out the outline of them. He recognizes Sam first and feels relief till he realizes who he’s carrying. His long hair is blocking out his face but Steve knows. He’s laid by his side hours looking like that before he disappeared right in front of him. He wants to kick himself for not recognizing him sooner but bases more of that on the fact that Sam shouldn’t be carrying him. Why would he need to be?

But Steve waits to be sure.

It ends when the one you love most passes through.

“Sam!” He finally yells out when the two men coming towards them are in earshot. When he notices Sam reacting to his name Steve runs towards them, the others following closely behind.

“Sam” He says again, grabbing his friend’s shoulder. He tries his best to smile to him but he looks to Sam’s other arm desperately trying to hold up the man in it.

“Buck…” Steve lets out, brushing the hair away from Bucky’s face so he could see him. Bucky’s eyes barely open. “What happened to him?” Steve asks fear letting it’s way through in his voice.

“I don’t know, man” Sam let’s out, grunting as the weight of Bucky on his arm is taking its toll. Steve grabs Bucky’s loose arm and puts it around him.

Bruce clears his throat. “I...might’ve read something.” He looks down. “I’m sorry, Cap. I didn’t think it’d be relevant. I thought...”

“What is it?” Steve asks.

“The stone. When you wield it it can take its toll.”

“Yeah I noticed.” Steve says. “What’s that have to do with Bucky?”

Bruce sighs and continues. “It can takes its toll not only on you but on your...um...soulmate. If you have one and if they’re still alive. And sometimes does worse damage to them.”

“Soulmate.” Steve says it more like a statement then a question as he looks at Bucky.

“I’m sorry, Cap. I figured they’d...I figured if you had one they’d be long dead by now I didn’t know.”

Bucky groans out in pain again, his arm around Steve tightens and Steve realizes he’s still carrying the damn Soul stone. He opens his hand as if it’s on fire but quickly realizes dropping the stone straight on the ground might not be the best idea. Tony is right there by Steve holding out the container they had kept the Stone in to keep it safe from anyone touching it. Steve drops it in and almost immediately feels Bucky relax in his arm.

“I got you,” Steve tells him as he carries a still not fully conscious Bucky to the Quinjet.

He lays Bucky down as he comes to. He watches as the man he thought he lost forever this time open his eyes, watching them try to focus on him. “Steve...?” Bucky lets out.

“Buck,” Steves smiles down at him and it’s almost brighter than the damn soul stone’s light. “How you feelin?”

“Mmm better,” Now that I’m with you. He grabs Steve’s hand that was laying on his chest. “What...was that?”

Steve shrugs his shoulders. “Apparently we’re soulmates.”

Bucky lets out a small laugh. “I could’ve figured that.”

“Mr. Barnes!” They hear behind them and Steve turns around to see the same kid Tony was talking to running to them. “Hey, you made it out!”

Bucky turns his head towards Peter’s voice, grinning. “What’d I tell you, kid? I dont break promises.” Buck says to a relieved Peter. “Isn’t that right, Steve?” He smiles back up at his boyfriend.

Steve nods. “That’s right.”

Peter looks between them. “Wait that’s ...your b-your Steve. You’re Steve!”

Steve chuckles lightly.

“I don't know why I didn't connect that. You uhh look different, Cap. Without the helmet...and the outfit...the shield…”

“Yeah we get-”

“Your hair...the beard…”

“Does he stop?”

“Eventually…” Bucky chuckles lightly.

“Is that your old outfit or did you get a new one that looks like your old one but ...dark.”

“I-”

“Alright first things first we’re getting the kid home!” Tony announces as he boards the ship. That seems to distract Peter enough as he runs up to Tony.

“Then what?” Bucky asks.

“Then we go home,” Steve answers looking out the window.

“And where’s home?”

Wherever you are. “Wherever you want it to be, Buck” Steve turns back to Bucky and smiles at his partner. His soulmate.

Bucky smiles back then clears his throat. “Hey so...can a soulmate get a kiss or something?”

Steve laughs. “Yeah, yeah,.” He leans down and gives Bucky a sweet but tender kiss. They pull apart both wanting more but not now. “Now get some rest.” Steve suggests. Bucky nods and closes his eyes. Steve sits down, brushes Bucky’s hair back, kisses his forehead, and then lays his head down too next to Bucky’s closing his eyes.

New Beginnings~Chapter 4

TVD Season 6 AU: After a few too many startling revelations Bonnie is fed up and decides to leave. Enter the little town of Havencrest, a quiet place, perfect for settling down away from everything. Or so it's thought; Bonnie left the constant chaos that was Mystic Falls only to get mixed up in something much darker.

Whoo another update! Don’t have much to say other than happy belated BonKai day family! Ngl I was super engrossed in other stuff and I had to work that day so yeah. Hopefully this makes up for that somewhat. Without further ado please enjoy the chapter. Italics=Thoughts/flashbacks. TW for mentions of animal abuse and violence

Though some people were still staring at Austin's retreating back, a handful were giving her scornful glances. Bonnie was starting to become agitated. She sat down on a bench in the park and began tapping her foot impatiently. Rusty scratches against her leg for attention, she picks him up and puts him in her lap. "I can say I have an alibi, which I really do, but magic was more than likely involved in this."

Noelle was tapping her chin, pacing back and forth thinking of solutions. "True, but we need undeniable proof."

Sian's entire being radiated sadness. "She doesn't deserve this. She's innocent."

Caleb's shoulders are tense, watching the townspeople warily. "We know that but unfortunately the combination of Bonnie being a witch and her familiar being him is going to have the town on edge."

Bonnie grew apprehensive. "What's wrong with Rusty?"

There was a beat of silence until Sian spoke up. "A lot of the townsfolk believes he's a curse."

Bonnie's eyes narrowed, leaning forward head slightly tilted.

Sian clenched the knapsack closer to herself. "He wasn't always a chow chow puppy, some months back he was a pitbull. A-uh-a guy who was into dog fighting wanted to use him but Rusty disobeyed one too many times and he...killed him."

Noelle closed her eyes, lips pursed in anger while Caleb just watched for Bonnie's reaction. The young woman grasped Rusty to her; Harsh breaths coming out of her nostrils. Rusty whined attempting to twist his little body around to reach her face.

"That wasn't the only time...I think he died twice before that too. He never really made it to adulthood." Sian buried her face into her bag murmuring. "Like owner, like dog."

Caleb put a hand on her shoulder. "Maybe you should head on home."

"I'm fine Caleb." Came her curt reply.

Noelle finally opened her eyes. "No Caleb's right." She turned to him. "Take her out of here, there's too many emotions swirling around."

"But Noelle!"

"I said no."

Sian just cast sorrowful eyes at Bonnie and then buried her head back into her bag so only her copper hair was showing.

"I'll take her with me to the scene, see if we can find something."

"Okay. Keep us posted."

"Will do. Be safe." With one last look at Bonnie he grabbed Sian and ran off in the direction of a small side street.

After watching them leave Noelle turned to Bonnie. "Let's go get your hair done."

"You can't be serious." Even Rusty's head tilted in confusion at Noelle's ridiculousness.

"As serious as a heart attack." She peered at Bonnie closely. "Have you ever had cornrows before."

"No."

"Individuals? Locs? Weave of any kind?"

"No, no, and no."

"Yeah that won't do. Get up." Rusty barked twice which Bonnie assumed it meant hell no.

"Look Noelle I'm a suspect in a murder I can't just be prancing around getting my hair done."

"Yes you can! This will get your mind off of things and a chance to try something new with yourself!"

"Someone you knew personally just died. How can you be so blase about this?"

"Because, one, changes for the better start small. Or in your case big and then small. You already got out of a toxic environment." She sat down beside Bonnie. "And two, she was already dying. She had maybe another week or two tops."

Realization dawned on Bonnie. "You're giving me another alibi in case something happens again."

She made finger guns. "Now you got it."

"Did anyone ever tell you you're annoyingly persistent."

"So I've been told." She stood up and faced Bonnie holding her hand out. "Let's go."

"I'll go but I'm not taking your hand."

"Sweet! Come on my car is parked on the other end of the park."

"Cool, but we have to stop by the pet store first. I need dog food for Rusty."

"Fine by me."

Elias takes a swing at Kai but he's distraught and his eyes are blinded with tears so Kai has no problem avoiding him. When he swings again Kai grabs his arm twisting it behind his back then snapping it at the elbow. At this point he's past caring if anyone hears him as he drags Elias kicking and screaming to the pool.

Using his bulk, Elias manages to break free of Kai's hold only to be kneed in the stomach and elbowed in the face. Seeing as that wasn't taking him out Kai gripped Elias's hair and slammed his face into the diving board. With his knee in his back he then heaved his brother's head into the pool.

"Come on Eli, you're a good swimmer, let's see how long you can hold your breath under water. Last I heard it was for a solid seven minutes! Let's try for eight!"

Elias is desperate now and his thrashing around is getting worse, Kai presses his knee down harder and uses his other to break his brother's good arm. Suddenly Kai feels it, the approaching footsteps followed by shapely brown legs. When he looks up he's staring directly into a pair of moss green eyes. No anger, fear or hesitation; Just disgust and disappointment. He's used to Jo giving him that look over time but with her it's different. It's like his heart is being squeezed and his ears start ringing and everything around him becomes a white noise save for her voice.

"You're a monster. You don't deserve forgiveness."

Kai catapults awake to the smell of something burning and quickly put out the flames attempting to scorch the place. Glancing downward he notices that the journals remained intact. Checking his phone it reads 7:20pm, which means he was reading for at least five hours and passed out for the rest.

His phone vibrated with an unknown number popping up. With a degree of caution he answered. "Hello?"

"Kai? It's Mahir. I've been trying to get in contact with you for hours. I thought you got caught in a trap Joshua set or something."

"Uh yeah. I got distracted reading." He's still disoriented from getting up so fast. "You okay? You're less talkative than usual."

"I'm fine. How did you get my number anyway?" Kai had sent a coded message to the coven in order for them to show up at the restaurant.

"Josette."

"Mahir, what did you do?" His voice held a warning tone. In spite of Jo wanting nothing to do with him he still held a soft spot for her.

"Chill, I just tracked her down and asked for it. Her husband though...he may have a cracked rib or two. My presence caught Josette off guard and he reacted accordingly which put him in his current predicament."

"And Jo?"

"Gave me your number and told me she never wanted to see me again."

"Okay good. As long as Jo's fine I don't care what happens to her husband."

"Heh. Sooo...how is it?"

"The things I found in here are indescribable! This place is just wow! But Mahir the craziest part are the journals I found here. They detail the Salem Witch Trails and the cause behind it."

"What? I thought that was mass hysteria."

"Same here but my ancestor Alastor described something completely different. He said something possessed a normal human woman making her act differently, unusual fits of anger, muttering strange things, and contorting her body into odd positions. It's recounted as a black mist that mostly wreaked havoc at night."

"Save for the black mist part you just described The Exorcist." Kai could hear air whipping in the background Mahir must've been outside driving. "That's crazy."

"Tell me about it, Bon-I mean a Bennett ancestor was blamed for obvious reasons along with some others."

"Anything else?"

"Apparently my ancestor was super thirsty. There's as many entries about Ana Bennett as there are about the trails."

Mahir let out a hearty laugh. "Seems like that runs in the family. Joshua was like that with Sheila, though he hid it well."

Kai's lip curled in disgust. "I did not need that picture."

"I don't know man I met Lucy Bennett once and let me tell you I would gladly bring her into the family."

"Stop!" Kai grabbed the suitcase he brought with him and opened it. "Look I'll call you back when I land back in Virginia."

"Cool. Catch you later."

"Later." Kai started stuffing it with the journals putting the Bennett one on top. "I'll just keep this with me for the time being." Looking back he also grabbed the Tesseract as well. He had a strange feeling he would need it.

Stepping out into the crisp night air Kai replaced the magic barriers and glamour back on the place and headed to the ferry.

Elena runs into the room, phone in hand. "Damon I found them. They're...on the campus."

"Gee why didn't we look there first." He sat on the couch watching tv.

"Because someone was too wrapped up in his mother and then Bonnie." Elena spat.

"Why don't you want to bring Bonnie back Elena? She's our friend." He smirked. "Are you jealous or something? We did get pretty close in the prison world."

Elena was starting to question what she saw in him. "No Damon I'm not jealous. It's just that when I last saw her she looked so tired, so done with everything. As much as it pains me to say it I-I think she's better off without us." She hung her head sadly.

Damon turned the tv off. "That's bullshit Elena and you know it! She belongs here with us!"

"Not if it's only killing her inside! Bonnie's too good, to nice to say anything, but I watched her leave, Damon not you. And besides why are we bringing her back anyway? Just so she can fix all of our problems like always? Sacrifice herself like always?" Tears were beginning to pool in her eyes. Bonnie leaving of her own accord struck something in her. She was used to her friend just bouncing back from whatever was bothering her, ready to help the team.

Damon got up from the couch. "Elena, where is this coming from?"

"From watching my best friend leave everything she has ever known and loved behind just to have peace. Realizing that she did so much for me, hell everyone in this damn town, while I barely did the bare minimum for her." She fell to her knees sobbing. "I was so self absorbed I didn't even acknowledge Bonnie's problems. Or her constant suffering."

"Elena." Damon crutched down placing a hand on her shoulder. "Bonnie chose to do those things because she loves you. Like when she sent me back to you."

"But she shouldn't have had to do it in the first place. We should've done better Damon." She shook his hand off and stood up wiping her eyes. "Get up we have to get Stefan and Caroline to turn on their humanity before anymore people die."

The salon they were heading to was on the other side of town. Bonnie was eyeing the small houses they were passing along the way, taking mental notes of the ones that had a for rent sign. Rusty, who wore himself out playing, was sleeping soundly in the backseat.

"Question."

"Shoot."

"How long does this process take?" Bonnie didn't want it to take too long as she wanted to check out those houses. The idea of the duplex sounded nice but she wanted privacy.

"You can't be serious." Noelle's tone was somehow both mocking and curious.

"Yes I am. I've never had any of those hairstyles before." She pointed to her bob. "It's always been like this and or curly."

Noelle side-eyed her. "Oh wow, but to answer your question it depends what hairstyle you get and how many people are doing your hair."

"Hmm. Do you have a book or magazine?"

"For the hair? Yeah there should be a magazine or two in the backseat."

Instead of just reaching back she used magic to put it in her hands. Bonnie began flipping through it, coming to a stop at a particular hairstyle. When they came to a light she pointed to it. "I think I want this one. The faux locs."

Noelle gasped. "I think that hairstyle would look gorgeous on you! Did you want shoulder length or long?"

"Long. I haven't had long hair in a while." Not since before she died for the second time. The thought left a bitter taste in her mouth. “Never again.”

"Eighteen inch would probably be best then." Noelle parked in front of a small african salon/barbershop. "We're here."

Bonnie peered at it from the passenger seat. It's a nice two story spot between a clothing boutique and a shoe store. Houses lined the rest of the street.

Noelle turned to her. "You ready?"

She glanced back at Rusty's sleeping form. "As I'll ever be."

Noelle left the back window open a crack and together the girls sashayed into the shop. There were two other women getting their hair done, three of the hairdressers were free. The place smelt of incense and it gave off a relaxing feeling.

Bonnie cleared her throat and spoke. "Hi. I would like to get my hair done in this style." She pointed to the the magazine she held up.

One of the middle aged african women smiled at her. "Sure, do you want any colors?"

"Black with caramel highlights."

The woman waved her over and Bonnie sat down. "Did you wash your hair today?"

"No."

"Okay. So first I'll wash and blow dry it then we'll get started."

"Alright."

As the two women walk to the back of the salon a heavy metal tune goes off catching the quiet place off guard. Noelle gives an embarrassed smile. "Sorry. I'll be in the sitting area Bonnie."

Bonnie gave a thumbs up and laid her head back in the sink so it could be washed. In the process of getting it washed Bonnie could hear Noelle talking on the phone to someone. She could barely understand what was being said but she did recognize a few words from those anime that Jeremy used to watch.

"Arigato, ja matane." Noelle hung up and sat down next to Bonnie.

"You speak japanese?" Bonnie figured Noelle was mixed but not with japanese.

"Fluenty. My mom taught me."

"Cool."

5 minutes later Bonnie was in the chair getting her hair done. 10 minutes later another woman joined her speeding up the process. Noelle's phone rang again and she side-eyed Bonnie.

She raised an eyebrow in question.

"It's Caleb."

Bonnie went to lean forward but remembered there were people in her hair. "Answer it!"

She muttered a spell and put the phone on speaker. "Find out anything?"

Sirens could be heard in the background where he was. "We found another one. This time there are organs missing."

She groaned. "Who was it?"

"Mr. Shaw." Caleb said solemnly.

Noelle closed her eyes in reflection. "He was the local bookshop owner." She said to Bonnie.

"Gutted him like a fish. I'll be shocked if they get any-oof!"

Noelle and Bonnie could hear a deep voice reprimanding him followed by a quick sorry.

"That was the chief." The sound of the poilce chatter grew further away. "Anyway when Sian touch the body she freaked out and then fainted."

"What?!"

"Calm down. She of course then woke up spouting gibberish and promptly vomited. Other than that she's fine."

"Did you manage to catch anything?"

"Uh, let me see...here it is! She said something about a messenger of the U.M.N and don't leave the castle."

Noelle looked like she seen a ghost. "The U.M.N is involved?" Her hands begin to shake causing her phone to clatter to the floor. "No." Her voice came out in a whisper.

Bonnie was bewildered. "Noelle? What's the U.M.N?"

She wasn't responding just beginning to hyperventilate.

"Noelle!" Bonnie grabbed her arm and shook her.

"What?" Her eyes still looked haunted but otherwise she was coherent.

"What's going on? You were starting to panic."

"The Underground Magic Network." She blurted it out.

"Yeah you said that."

"They're a massive group of dark magic users that terrorized Havencrest twenty years ago." She bent down to pick up her phone. "Probably trying to release that thing under the church in the woods."

"What thing?" Something besides Rusty was calling her here, that much she knew for sure.

Noelle met her gaze. "The black mist that caused the hysteria of the Salem Witch Trials. The six covens sealed it in this town."

Episode 10 - "I've been channeling Raffy's chaos and messy style" ~Amy

Colin survived omg omg. I went on call with him after tribal council and I smoothed things over with us. So I'm like the only person he's not hating right now. Also I literally told Colin everything. I told him exactly what happened which is so awkward if anyone finds out I tolf him that they all backstabbed him. Also Elle cannot be trusted!! Why would she do this? She's probably working with Colin and at this point I'm ok with voting off Elle. She really backstabbed the entire plan. Also Elle's idol is gone so it would be easy. BUT, we need to rid of the advantages that remain. There's not any time to get off people I don't trust. We need to expose every last idol we can. Also I know Brayden has an idol and I'm working with him but I might have to backstab that guy because if he makes it to final tribal council with an idol that will be big on his resume. Honestly Brayden will be seen as the most popular social player so that will look really good compared to me. So I might have to backstab my best friend before the time runs out.

Wtf was that tribal. Literally besides Colin, the only person left out of the vote and lied to by my own partner. Just when i thought things were looking up for me in this game, the rug gets pulled from underneath me again. I literally dont feel like i can trust any of them but for the sake of playing nice, I have to pretend that everything is fine and be a fake bitch for a day or two. Ugh 😑

I understand Colin is probably really upset and hurt because he felt personally close with me, but I don’t understand why my reasons for not saving him weren’t valid. When he tried to save Dennis, it rubbed HIMYM the wrong way and I didn’t want to betray 5 people for 1 person the same way he did that because it’s what gave everyone distrust. He said he didn’t tell anyone about HIMYM until after he heard his name, but that’s a lie as Josh and Jay both heard of it by round 8. I said that and then he said “well that’s still one person”. It’s more than one and even then, one person is one person. You gave us a reason to distrust you and that’s why you were targeted. I never told anyone about his SWP because I didn’t want to give him a reason to tell others I’m not trustworthy or for him to target me with. Ultimately, of course I knew Jay wasn’t going to send me out, but there was a real concern that Babs had an idol and that between me and Anastasia, I would go. So yeah, my concerns were indeed valid as it could’ve gone to a point where I go. I really want immunity this round. So bad. But if it’s not me I’ll be ok with my allies having it. But please I want immunity!!!

Josh and I are allies and I trust him a lot partially bc ppl lied to him almost as much as ppl lied to me and Colin and being at the bottom is a good way to know your allies are true, they have little to gain 😂 oh and Brayden and Anastasia and I are still "allies" and idk Jay hasn't talked to me yet sooooo let's see what happens there!

it appears either jodi or jared are going tonight, and although they’re my allies, i selfishly don’t care. I’ll still be in the game, so that’s nice i suppose. I love jodi, but she’s paranoid and it’s a whole deal trying to work with her, if she got voted out i could maybe get some sleep every once in awhile. I love her to death, but frankly whatever happens tonight as long as it ain’t me I don’t really care. Hell, even if it is me, then whatever lol, I can get caught up on sleep then. Frankly this is where the game gets ugly, and i’m cool with staying out of the drama. it still sucks that josh hates me though, i genuinely like him, and i feel like he doesn’t want to be my friend beyond the game anymore. To me, i’m going to keep doing me. I’m gonna chill, i’m gonna relax, and i’ll play when i feel like it. My mental health is important, so even if i’m not playing as hard as others, it’s just a game. If i lose, i will not lose any sleep over it.

DAMN last tribal really killed the vibes in the game. no one wants to talk. everyone is scared of stuff getting leaked or turning on people. BUT ON THE FLIP side that means everyone is flipping on everyone SOMEHOW amy managed to escape unscathed. They have NO idea she's in with us and with them. She's telling us everything. it's actually insane to watch her do it. Truly international superspy behavior. We have our numbers and they have theirs. They made another majority alliance except they replaced me with Jay. Whatever, expected. its fine. I truly did not talk much to people before the challenge, I just laid back and let Amy gather information for us. The immunity challenge was absolutely crazy good for us. Elle winning immunity is perfect, and the fact they GAVE AMY the other immunity is also amazing, a testament to how much they do trust her. THEN THIS IS WHERE THINGS STARTED GETTING EXCITING so I still have my handy chaos idol. I was thinking about numbers and I came to the realization that we could get Jodi cirie'd out this tribal. Their side is splitting votes on Josh and I, and there's four of us. If we vote the other 4 people in that alliance and then play the chaos idol, it leaves Jodi the only one without a vote and she's automatically out. It was a huge risk but I brought this plan to Josh, Amy, and Elle. because of the touchy subjects it made me truly feel that I could trust my allies right now. I was voted "Who is your closest ally" and I'm almost certain it was those three that put me down. That means I can trust them with this plan. (I hope). Elle, however, brought up the very good point that Jodi might be idoled, it's very obvious for us to go after her. SO we also decided that we should leave no votes on Brayden and then theres a revote between the two. SO TLDR THE PLAN RN: play chaos idol and coordinate votes so there's a revote between Jodi and Brayden. Also we're telling everyone else our plan is to vote Jared, that way it's not too obvious we have shit up our sleeve. there is the prospect of them splitting the vote 3-3 and then we don't even need to use the chaos idol, we just have the numbers. The other option is they put all 6 votes on one person and then we do have to play it. Thats why its so good we have Amy as our inside source telling us everything that's going on with them. so yeah right now we're still playing it by ear. not a lot of people are online and available to we're just waiting to get it all sorted out. Hahahahaha omfg so after we yeeted out of last tribal and then elle used their idol apparently anastasia and jodi changed their vote to Babs so they still went home and we kept Colin's idol. We jumped back on the tribe call and it was only host Jay and Raffy left lol like we were ready for a tribe fight! But I think it turned out better because I am still getting all the info in the group. Touchy subjects was interesting and almost exposed us bc colin and jodi tied for closest allies lol which I'm sure it was like 3-3-whatever. But she said I'm the group maybe it was like 2-2-1s. So that's a relief. However. Everyone is being really quiet with me and our brayden - jodi - me alliance is silent. I'm concerned they think it is me who's leaking but from what I can tell jodi (and thus anastasia, brayden,jay, and jared automatically) believe it was elle who leaked the plan to vote colin. So idk how but I'm in the clear. I'm just waiting to be found out bc I'd be an easy vote out. BUT I think they believe I'm still with new himym because brayden chose to give me immunity in touchy subjects!! And elle got first out!! So we are both safe and the current plan for Jodi's group is to tell Colin josh and elle they are splitting but they will put all votes on josh so that colin flushes his idol. Except lol it's a chaos idol. And if that's the case colin wants me to vote him ☠️ but it actually keeps him safe so I'll do it. I would just hate for the chaos idol to be fake. I think I know where all remaining advantages are except the idol I think Jared has lol. So for the break down brayden has an idol he believes is real but is fake and he is not telling anyone in the group or jodi or me so as much as I like brayden I can't wait to see him play it and it's fake. Then Colin has Dennis's chaos idol and one more regular idol. I have the merge idol and a steal a vote. That leaves only jared's idol that we might be able to flush this go if they actually believe jared is the target from Josh elle colin. But if they don't we can leave votes off jared and jodi and we can vote out the unplayed idol or vote jodi out and her minions have to regroup. My biggest concern has been josh bc he really seems to not like me ☠️ and here I am risking it all to keep colin, elle, and josh in the game lol. So now colin elle and I have a three. Colin filled them in and they trust me. And we waited until josh calmed down bc he was really mad that I cut his rope in the challenge. Unfortunately I knew that he wasn't winning bc he's at the bottom, none of them were giving him immunity, and I needed to keep up the facade that I was with them 100% so I was guessing like everyone else on the most allies even though I knew it would be colin lol. So now colin has talked to Josh and josh knows about the chaos idol so I just hope he's 100% with us. Because if we play this right it's 4-4. And then I'm gonna have to reveal to them I have a steal a vote lol they might be upset I didn't tell them before but I've never said I didn't have anything (except to jodi whoops). Also now jodi is thinking worst case like wants me to say I'll vote out anastasia if it's a revote and also at 6. I was like "oh I'm a revote? I got you" as in if vote you out sorry girl. Listen I know I'm not winning and I know I'm not getting to the end because it would be stupid to take me at this point. I'm literally a double agent secret spy lol. However the entire jury WILL despise me but all I could hope is they respect the moves I made. But it seems like a lot of people in this game take things very personal so I really think it would be a completely bitter jury against me not that I'm getting there. I kind of don't want to use my steal a vote at 8 and hope they still think I'm with new himym because then we could simply idol where their vote is and I keep steal a vote for 6 and my idol for 5 and I'm golden lol 😂. And here I was gonna hard quit the game lol. I mean tbh they could just vote me here... Wait lol I'm immune jk thanks. Literally i think Babs is indifferent and dennis did like me but his vote would still go to colin. But if I was in f3 IMAGINE the story of have to tell lol and convince them all. It's the struggle of playing more behind the scenes but I really think someone is going to leave the info. I hope josh stays quiet until 7 when we should have numbers. Anyway all of this to say I wanted to play this game doing the absolute minimum and I'm spending hours and hours a day like copy pasting from the group to colin 😂 and now to our group. The problem is colin really believed jared when he said he'd flip and I was like colin no that's EXACTLY what he detailed he'd do in the group. And then Colin and josh were like wait anastasia and brayden may consider flipping and here I was like no y'all they are telling me / us they're saying that. Unless it's like a double play they are lying to you and that's their plan. All I can do is copy paste their exact messages and hope they believe me. I really do think they trust me bc I'm risking my life here. I just need to talk to Josh and explain the situation and I am with him not against him! Honestly this is such a great cast and they are playing very well. It'll be fun to see how it all works out. I don't think I'll be at the end but I would love to see underdogs take it. I would actually love josh elle and Colin at the end and I'd vote colin to win lol he put in work! I'd also vote anastasia to win because she has laid low so well with still having pull in the game. Idk it's a fun one that I think will blow up on me soon but I've been channeling Raffy's chaos and messy style bc I'm just here to have fun not to win actually lol. I am writing this while on a flight so I'll have updates later. Oh right our 4 group plan is to use the chaos idol and throw votes around so that like 2 or 3 people don't have votes then they are the only ones vulnerable in the revote and everyone who got votes is safe. Then we can vote either jared or jodi like that's the thing if jodi doesn't play an idol here I don't think she has one or no one is giving her one. I think my only chance to make it farther is to let the 4 group know I'm with them 100% but still keep my idol for myself hopefully until 6 or 5 but lol idk about that. Like I can see them wanting to take me out then. Okay that's all my thoughts right now.

Evading eternal gloom and chaos in general | November Goals Update

Hey People of Earth!

Today is December 1st. Which means, November (death) is over, and I can officially restart life during Christmas break in 21 days. November as a whole was much better than October (so much, we don't even compare the two) which is strange, as November is the month of death usually because school gets crazy. Regardless, I’m very pleased that I somehow evaded eternal gloom (for the most part) in November.

Some cool things happened this month, including two university open houses in two different locations in Ontario (London + Windsor = two road trips, two weekends in a row), that high school dance life (my first hs dance when ur last year is next year and this is the first social occasion you’ve attended haaaa lol rip) and Literally The Worst Case Of Writer’s Block Ever I Kid You Not. (Which I will definitely go into in this month’s writing update!)

Overall, November was this very chaotic amalgamation of busy, but cumulatively, was pretty darn memorable. Darn.

Onto the goals.

(Also, I don't know if I’ve ever explained this in recent years, but I work with goals in a very strange way. As in, I don't really work with them, as in, I write these posts every month with goals, then never refer to them for the entire month, then come back a month later ?? and ?? for some ?? reason this ?? works ?? it’s also very entertaining to laugh at my failures is that morbid that I enjoy this very much oh no)

(I enjoy writing these posts a lot though, they give me some time to reflect on the last 30 or 31 days I’ve lived and they act as a great routine. :))

Anywhoozies, onto the things I did and mostly did not do:

1. Hit 15k in FOSTERED #6

So. Let’s just talk about this goal very briefly, shall we. As I mentioned above, November and I did not get along in terms of writing, as in, November served me a big ol’ slice of Writer’s Block and left me to choke on it. I wasn't really expecting this block to be so severe, but it was a thing, and it was very real. I mentioned this in DtWT #66, and I know writer’s block is controversial (some people thinks it’s a bullshit excuse, some people don't care, some people strongly believe in it, etc). I stand on the side of ‘in creative fields, every artist is bound to run into some form of a challenge at some point in their career’. As a creative person, I've experienced tons of creative block. In some cases, yes, this block is caused by fear, lack of ideas, sometimes procrastination, but ohhhh myyy, November’s writer’s block was none of these things.

Initially, it was straight up fear, I’ll admit that. I was just starting this book, didn't want to screw up the beginning of the *very last* book, couldn't piece together ideas that I thought were good even though @sarahkelsiwrites was very honest about them and had good feedback, etc, etc. I would say the first week and a half of this block were straight-up fear based. And then weeks 2 + 3 came and it sort of wasn't anymore. I wasn't scared to write this book because at this point, I was pretty fed up with my moping and fear, and just wanted to get some words out.

*and then the words stopped coming and they just stopped coming*

(which isn't entirely the truth, but let me elaborate)

In this time period, I was still writing. I was still hitting my 250 goal almost every single day, and there wasn't one day I didn't go about writing, or go about figuring out how to go about writing. To me, writer’s block doesn't mean I’m not writing. It just means there’s this disconnect that prevents me from immersing myself into my work, thus holding me back from creating the best thing I possibly can, OR making me think I’m creating something of unsubstantial standards. Does this make sense.

So yes, I was very out of it, and I really do think this block was triggered by fear, and once I got over that fear, lingered. BUT I’m doing MUCH better now, let’s not jinx this, AKA I hit 15 587 words this month and when I made this goal literally didn't think I would haaaa bless.

2. Outline more of ALANNIS, and like maybe try to finish it, though I mean this isn’t going to happen, so yeah, just work on it pls

No. lol. So. I’m going to count this as a half win, because I did complete this goal, but not by much. In October’s post, I mentioned I wanted to go through this outline to see if I could possibly shift some of them into the POV of my boi Matthew. This novel is narrated by Chris, and while I love my girl, something was missing from the story, and so I was like, yanno, screw it, let’s see if I can find some chapters to give to Matt just for the hell of it. Overall, I found about 12 or so chapters I could give to him (excluding new ideas that I haven't gotten, but yes), which is pretty good. Not sure I even want to do this dual POV thing, but I mean, I worked on the outline sort of so. (I really need to get on top of this thing I’ve been outlining it for like a year oops.)

3. Upload cover making video

So abridged version of this disclaimer: basically, my hard drive died on me this month, it had all the footage for all my upcoming YouTube vids, including all the speedpaints and cover making vids, lol sigh back up your stuff kids, didn't listen to myself, rip my data, you will be missed (didn’t lose anything personal and my documents are always protected because they’re the most important) SOOO that happened. HOWEVERRR, this is not an excuse for why I did not finish this goal because I literally had another cover making video exported and ready on my computer BUUUUT I’m vERYyyY extra and wasn't liking how my THUMBNAIL was coming out so yesterday when I was scrambling to actually get this goal done because good job time management, was like yo okay imma redo this tomorrow, and so here’s the thumbnail:

AND ACTUALLY, the only reason I never got this vid up like I dunno THREE WEEKS AGO WHEN IT WAS READY, was because of this THUMBNAILLLL WHICH HAS BEEN LIKE A 2 WEEK PROCESS.

4. Read a book yo.

I actually did this, lol. I finished Kristen Martin’s Shadow Crown this month and started History of Wolves by Emily Fridlund, but I’ve been reading that one at school and like, so far, I’m getting the vibe that I need some hardcore tea and snow and a fire log and some peace and quiet to just appreciate this book because so far I’ve read it in math class and while I do enjoy my math class, i’m getting the feeling this book ain’t no math class aesthetic. (so, the answer is, no I didn't finish this book, but yes, I really really want to because i’m liking it a lot so far and the voice is nice as fuuuuuuuuh and dooooon’t get me started on the writing clapz for dayz)

5. Finish another character portrait

I actually did four portraits this month, two of which are Christmas gifts so I can’t share those at the moment, but here’s one I did of @sarahkelsiwrites’ character Simon:

6. Find and finalize an ALANNIS epigraph

I dunno why this is still a goal because I’m literally not going to do it if I’m hardly working on the darn outline, but yes, no, fail.

7. Work on FOSTERED #5′s book cover

Epic fail, XD. I don't like the design of the re-designed FOSTERED covers, but for the sake of consistency, I’m going along, and that's serving for some unenthusiastic cover designing but I do need to get this done so I can order copies. (WHICH, by the way, I have a new copy of I’M DISAPPOINTED to order, a copy of my sister’s novel, A HAPPINESS TO WONDER, a copy of my novelette sort of thing THE TREATED and on top of this FOSTERED #5, you can totally call me cheap for realllyyyy not wanting to pay for that shipping twice, lol. Point is, I’ll be doing an unboxing because those are literally my favourite videos ever and I’ve watched every single one on YouTube no lie. ;))

So those were the goals. Finished 4ish/almost5 out of 7 goals this much which is pretty ass, but the ones I didn't finish (with the exception of one AKA THE OUTLINE) weren't super important. Some shtuff I’d like to get done in December:

1. Hit 25k in FOSTERED #6 (aka REWIRED)

2. Outline more of ALANNIS, and like maybe try to finish it, though I mean this isn’t going to happen, so yeah, just work on it pls

Have any of your ex’s told you they regret breaking up?I don’t really have ex’s. So I wouldn’t know. But when I was 15, there was this 1 guy that after 3 hours told me I was the love of his life and we kissed and it was horrible and I told him it wouldn’t work out. He made such a scene. I mean he ran away and threatened to jump off a bridge, for a girl that he knew less than a day...And I was so worried at first, but after 2 hours of running after him and searching and finding him on the bridge, I honestly was just mad and said outright that from this point on I didn’t care if he jumped. If he wanted to ruin his life for a girl he didn’t know at all, for an illusion, then be my guest, I am done running after him. Of course he didn’t. Years later I learned, that he still mourned me “leaving him” and wasn’t over me still. Ugh. 30. Do you ever want to get married?Couldn’t answer this yet. Probably?
