one of my fondest hc is that i truly truly believe that the hatfords are either scottish or northern english. and a much smaller gang than the moriyamas/wesninskis in general. it just makes more sense to me.
i like to think that the hatfords are more working class, not in wealth but culturally, and that mary wanted more than that. she grew up wanting to be amongst higher society, to be rich and boast about it too. and when she got the opportunity to leave with a man who offered that lifestyle, the glamour and shimmer and appeal of old dirty money, she jumped at it. she left her family behind, thinking she could do better than them. and she told them that too. she thought she’d be more than she was with her family, be an equal to nathan in his business and at home.
and she was, until she got pregnant. and then suddenly she was a mother, instead of a person. the one who caused a problem by getting pregnant. now nathan had something he had to deal with, to get rid of so he could continue his work with the moryiamas. the cruelty she’d been exempt from till this point was suddenly turned on her and her son. Neil became the only thing she had. and she had to risk everything for him.
and once it all went south, the shame and the guilt, and the belief that the hatfords couldnt deal with problems this big, ate away at her until she was on an island of two. her and neil. and while she loved him, she really loved him, neil had torn her away from the life she had made for herself. from the position she deserved to have, among the prestige and wealth. so she resented him.
what she didn’t know, was that for her, her family would’ve made themselves bigger. for neil, they increased their base and standings in uk and made themselves important to the moriyamas. they extended business overseas. they would’ve fought for her had she asked.

something that really bugs me about aftg is when the twinyards switch places. but. they grew up on opposite ends of the country. they have different accents!!! andrew grew up in CALIFORNIA and aaron grew up in SOUTH CAROLINA.
like are they just really good at accents? does andrew put a little southern twang into his voice? does aaron put in hours trying to figure out andrews accent just to indulge andrews whims??? like thats so cute? why did they ever try to convince us they dont care about each other

OK but imagine how fucking hard one of the 911 ending montages would go set to home by Edward Sharpe and the magnetic zeros (maybe the episode Christopher comes back????(also mara if its the same episode but i have doubts)) I just think that would cure what ails me

Bout to muse about something that is part headcanon part canon events
ㅤ
Tails is finally saved from his bullies by the (currently) small time hero he admires
Tails stalks follows his hero, uses his mechanical knowledge to improve Sonic's plane
While Tails follows Sonic around, even on dangerous journeys, the hedgehog keeps an eye out for the younger fox behind him, keeping him from being in too much danger
Sonic leads by example, demonstrating to Tails how to fight, and Tails runs maintenance on Sonic's plane and teaches him how to read
Soon enough, they become softly inseparable. Even if they can't adventure side by side (although they do more often than not), Sonic keeps contact with Tails whenever he can.
They strengthen each other's weak points. Where Tails lacks in raw strength, Sonic makes up for it with experience and speed. Where Sonic lacks in firepower, Tails has a machine, a gadget, or the technical know-how to take one. Sonic often rushes into danger, fighting without thinking too hard, but Tails' specialty is strategizing or making plans, and he's one of the few who can slow Sonic down enough to make sure he's prepared. And where Sonic supports Tails by being a force of nature, someone who can roll with the punches and execute one of Tails' plans with complete trust or faith, Tails also supports Sonic by understanding what he cannot, by crafting plans when Sonic is at a loss for how to proceed. They have such unwavering faith and trust in each other's abilities now.
Where Sonic is a hero, Tails is his own kind of hero, saving the people only he can save, helping in the ways only he can help. They support each other. They look out for each other. Even if Sonic is a force on his own, or Tails can go on solo adventures, they're more effective when they're together.
And no matter how things change as they grow, the people who come and go, the two of them are a constant. Sonic and Tails, ever at each other's sides.

omg reverse riko au is making me feel so ill..... please let us know if you have any more thoughts abt riko kayleigh and kevin legend.....
I DO my idea is that its around the same age kevin and riko met in canon so tetsuji kicks the bucket when riko is 7/8 and riko is (very forcibly) removed from the nest and sidelined to kayleigh as a new moriyama asset from the main branch takes over the nest. riko struggles a lot with the change because he is very young and very scared and he’s used to horrible things at tetsuji’s hand, which means that he doesn’t trust kayleigh and finds kevin entirely too weird. it’s honestly really cute because i think at this point obviously 7 year old kevin wants to befriend him but riko is such an anxious ball of anger that most of their interactions are like
baby riko: what do you WANT from me. go AWAY!!!! NOW
baby kevin: (heavy irish accent) nothing i think. do you want a bite of my sandwich?
anyway i think riko and kayleigh do get along but he never really considers her his mother or even godmother, for a long time he thinks of her as his Benefactor until the child therapy starts hitting and she becomes Aunt Kayleigh and then after a few more years he can be loosely convinced to refer to her as auntie once or twice a year. his second son syndrome never really leaves him; in the upcoming years riko struggles with the idea that he’s anything But an add-on to the days and still overworks himself to death trying to be acknowledged by kengo, but it’s leaps better just from being outside the nest and having people to look out for him
riko and kevin have some rough patches, especially during riko’s first years with the days. because kevin is an easy target and riko is afraid of kayleigh he ends up letting a lot of that anger out on kevin, though obviously at this point they are children and riko’s anger manifests in some mild bullying and name calling. i think kevin doesn’t even understand it most of the time 😭 riko has been around grown ups his entire life so his adult level insults make no sense to kevin’s seven year old mind. nevertheless after kayleigh tells him to stop picking on kevin riko does respect it (first out of fear, then later because they actually get along) and they go on to become brothers with only a slight tendency towards antagonism. riko’s jealousy of kevin is still a big part of their relationship and i think even more so when college applications roll around, and he’s even more worried when wymack comes into the picture, but it never culminates into anything as horrible as hand breaking because riko has an actual outlet and a support system :) it’s mostly a yelling match that eventually turns to getting scolded by kayleigh for acting like barbarians

imagine after finding out you're otherkin/therian/alterhuman and doing more research your F/O starts identifying as otherlink! (Specifically funlink)
As like, a fun way of showing support for you. (and also because the idea of being such may appeal to them for whatever reason)
What would they choose? Would they want to be the same species as you or would they go with something that matches them better?

It's okay to want to be called good boy even if your female or a feminine central person.
It's okay to want to be called good girl even if your male or a masculine central person.
It's okay to want to be called good boy even if your male or a masculine central person.
It's okay to want to be called good girl even if your female or a feminine central person.
It's okay to want to be called just a good person, child, kid, adult, teen, pet, animal, <insert your choice of whatever good thing you might want to be or at least called even if conflicting like a villian>.
It's okay to want to be called good. Even if it's just good enough. Because even if you can't be the best, being good is still lovely to be.
You don't have to take being called good as sexual nor romantic. However it's okay if you do too! Because they are words. Words that obviously mean a lot. Otherwise you'd probably not like them. And hey even if you don't like being called such or it brings bad memories it's still a set of words and you should know that however they make you feel is valid.
Just be cautious, even if someone calls you what you like to be called or not it doesn't mean they feel the same about how you feel nor do they know how it makes you feel.
However to all who like the saying good <insert your option> I say you aren't just good, yous the bestest!

I think the ending where Elizabeth is trapped in the other world could be a mix of both good and bad ending? Like she needs Michael's body to escape the other world since she doesn't have skin And is now tied to other Williams domain... She knows that what she's going to do is going to basically ruin Michael's life but she doesn't really have any other options
Also I just came up with the idea of the fun times being the twisted remnants of the other family! Like Other William has no more need to keep app the illusion now that Elizabeth is in his realm and just kind of stops caring about keeping the other family in good condition-
Probably once she got out in Michael's skin She kind of hang out in there until the 3 of them found a more permanent plan... Michael would probably be mad that his body is destroyed
Reading this ask made me suddenly imagine Liz posessing Mike; it gives Mike a bunch of trauma about not being in control of his body but at the same time he feels guilty because he knows there's no other way for Liz to return to the real world without it. So when Mike and Liz finally return to the real world and work through their issues, Mike and really really young Liz both have shared custody of Mike’s adult body. Sometimes Liz is in control, sometimes Mike is, and they try to share as equally as possible. Mike has gained control of his body to find ribbons in his hair many a times.
the Funtimes being remains of the other family is so clever, especially with all the parallels the Funtimes have to the Afton family already.
Once Liz has been captured and their purposes completed (assuming other Mike and Evan and Francine weren't reduced to dust or killed while trying to help Liz escape), the costumes they've been forced to wear melts into their bodies; their bodies become elongated and inhuman; their skin hardens, their teeth sharpen: their coloration fades away into Funtime-esque shades of white and cream and ash.

hm what if. after almost dying and going to the edge of starclan. poppypaw/frost gains some mild superpowers? she touched the stars, that has to mean something, right?
so consider her suddenly getting visions, extremely vague ones that don’t really make sense until after they’ve come to pass, but visions nonetheless. not starclan-sent omens or prophecies, either, just glimpses of what’s to come, sometimes completely ordinary things
