i am currently undergoing the process of hEDS and POTS diagnoses. it's not a cheap endeavor; a single appointment costs me about $500, and there's a lot of medical equipment involved as well (that the health insurance is refusing to cover). for the most part, i'm able to cover it myself. however, without going into personal details, things have been a little tight lately, and i'm finding myself struggling to deal with some things monetarily. a lot of it is personal stuff that i don't feel super comfortable sharing, but just know that even if you can only afford a black-and-white bust, it would be an immense help. being a full-time college student makes it difficult to find a job, and commissions are currently the only way i have of picking up some extra money. as of right now, there are only 6 slots open, as i'm moving into finals and things are starting to heat up.

Full Shaded - Color Commission BUST :: $30 FULL BODY :: $60

CAN DO: single characters, referenced poses, humans/humanoids, felines, draconics, fanart, original characters (with references) CANNOT DO: multiple characters (sorry), backgrounds (i'm so sorry), nsfw, animations, mecha, anything hateful/problematic y'all know the drill FAVORITES: fantasy, dynamic poses and/or expressive headshots, provided reference sheets (especially for ocs)

SPECIFICS: Full commission period can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks. For personal use only. No refunds after purchase: Pay half price prior to receiving digital item, pay half price after receiving digital item. No physical item will be delivered. Let’s talk about how romance is packaged as Friendship But Better. Let’s talk about how getting into a relationship is always seen as a positive, and not an if, but a when. Romantic partners are supposed to be caretakers, best friends, personal chefs, cleaners, mothers, lovers. Who wouldn’t want one?

I put myself through terrible, stressful relationships, because no one taught me that romance wasn’t the quest everyone was tasked with at conception. Had I known that my warped perception of romance wasn’t truly romance, I would have realized I was aromantic sooner. I wanted the romance society sold me. That romance isn’t real.

We often blame ourselves for not seeing the signs of our aromanticism, but how could we? When love is packaged as the one thing we can all relate to and experience, of course we would bend definitions to fit.
