every time i rewatch the miracle aligner music video i am just flabbergasted. FLABBERGASTED. like. they really chose to make it like THAT. and by 'like THAT' i am specifically referring to:
1) “an attempt to extract the truth... approximately" *cue rosepetals and intense eye contact*
2) THIS being the opening shot of the two of them
3) miles legitimately spending the first minute of the entire video blatantly checking alex out
4) literal rainbow lighting around them
5) endless hand holding and twirling
6) that moment where miles's hand reaches ever so reflexively for alex's neck
7) the fucking closing scene?????????

Have you heard the news? MatPat is retiring...
While I support him, it's heartbreaking to see him go...
😔😭😭
Augh this is the only ask I’ll answer regarding this TTwTT but I’ll be honest and say it’s depressing to see him retire but also? Hope he’s ok going forward and focus on his mental health and enjoy time with his family :’> he’s been working hard and now he needs his well deserved break 👌💖

(i don’t want to get into discourse over this truly i don’t but sometimes i see Takes™️ and feel like i somehow managed to watch a completely different mota than some other people did?? was it perfect okay, no. wish the tuskegee guys were developed more, wish that marge wasn’t a reshoots add in so we got more closure with her character. wish it was 10 or even 12 episodes not 9.
but idk i genuinely cannot square the takes about it being bad. granted i am a huge fan of austin and came into it very excited/ready to like it bc of him. but i also saw dune for him and while i enjoyed the film i saw it once and that was enough for me. (i saw elvis 2022 10 times in theaters between june 2022-march 2023 lmfao, once 3 times in 48 hours during the $5 awards szn run!!!)
which i say to say i’ve rewatched mota like 5+ times and keep rewatching it because i feel genuinely invested in the Full Story™️, not just to see austin. i think the character archs we see across the show were done very very well, especially crosby’s which i’ve actually been meaning to make a long post about on its own bc i wanna yap about it. rosie’s intro used to really annoy me but after a couple rewatches i came around to it/him and think he was written very well for the purpose his character was meant to serve. as much as i missed austin when gale went down i think the not showing it/leaving it up in the air till john got to the camp was an excellent way of putting the viewers into the shoes of the guys- who had no idea what happened to their friends when they went up and didn’t come back.
ive seen BoB and thought it was a fantastic well made beautiful show. but i personally, *personally* think i’d say i like mota more. and feel like i am the only person of the face of the earth with that opinion loldgdhch)

i do think that like. the current tiktok phenomenon of bullying teenagers for being really into stranger things, specifically a character who was considered an outcast for being nerdy and neurodivergent coded, is really weird though. like ive never watched stranger things and i dont plan to but like. it's a popular show. no one's going to look at you weird if you say you've watched stranger things and you really liked it. it's one of netflix's big shows
but people on tiktok are specifically making fun of kids who get over emotional about it. i havent touched anything stranger things and i still keep getting recommended tiktoks of people being like imagine getting attached to a character who was only in one season. that's so cringe
why is it now considered cool to be nerdy, but only if you're not too into it? why can i scroll through tiktok and see some conventionally attractive tiktoker get a million views for a low effort anime cosplay and then i scroll down and someone's mocking a stranger things fansong? it's like being a nerd is just an aesthetic and if it's more than that to you then you're a loser
idk it fucking reeks of ableism and i hate it

Hi I really want to start tshots and am wondering how much the needles hurt? I'm a scaredy cat but would rather shots than patches... Your blog has helped me build the confidence to book appointments for gender affirming care
HI OMG FIRST OF ALL THIS MAKES ME REALLY HAPPY THTA MY STUFF ENCOURAGED YUO TO SEEK OUT THE EPIC GENDER AFFIRMING CARE U DESERVE,THTAS SO FUCKING COOL EEEEEE IM EXCITED FOR U ANON WTF!!!!!!!!!! ok and i was the exact same way before starting, being scared is SO NORMAL and all the loading shit seemed so confusing too but watching youtube videos of other ppl loading their syringes n shooting themselves (that sounds so funny ok wait) helped a lot to make me unscared bc they all are so chill ab it!!!! i think it depends on pain tolerance a lot but i also think that testosterone makes pain less… painful after a bit? my first shot surprisingly didn’t hurt whatsoever. the actual needles you’ll be injecting with are SOOOO SMALL like. think a third of your pinky finger? maybe? my injection needles are not even a half inch and i barely feel them, they go in Super Easy, especially bc stomach/thigh/butt/wherever u decide to inject will ideally have a good amount of fat to cushion it,at the very most you’ll feel a small pinch, i’m autistic as fuck so blasting music or having a youtube video playing has been super fucking helpful(i used to watch sonic boom and say ‘next funny thing to happen is when i’ll put it in’) ALSO ANOTHER RANDOM THING putting the needle in fast and injecting slow is the WAY 2 GO which i’m sure you’ll see if u decide to watch videos of like medical professionals or tboys giving tips bc hesitance will make ur brain hone in on the Needle Entering You
