Oh my god yesssssss and like adding on/changing this that maybe the reader has had multiple previous supernatural partners that fizzled out (maybe a short fling with the immortal Hob, a one night stand with Desire, a summer romance with Death, year long relationship with Calliope, and the longest relationship with Lucifer, and so forth) but no one knows they dated all these other people

Until Dream eventually hosts a family dinner with Hob (because he’s family) and when everyone shows up and your just shocked and embarrassed and it turns into the Spider-Man meme

“Wait,” Dream cut through everyone’s confusion. He turned towards you. “My dear, I’m sorry but can you clarify?”

You shuffled side to side, keeping your gaze down. “Well, uh, I … I dated -“

“We fucked Dream,” Desire smirked.

You clamped your mouth shut, feeling your ears burn.

Dream clenched his jaw. “Yes, I see that may be the case.”

Desire chuckled, “It’s not a maybe.”

“Desire, please.” Death strolled towards you and gently rubbed your back. She always knew how to calm you. “Hey, it’s nothing to be ashamed of. We’re all adults … sort of.”

Hob stepped forward, “Right, there’s no hard feelings.”

You nodded.

Dream sighed, “Okay, yes, we can be civil.”

Hob smiled at you and teased, trying to make light of the awkward ordeal, “Unless there are others we need to know about?”

“Hob,” Dream warned.

“It’s okay,” you said, speaking up finally. “Well, there actually was two others. Calliope, a very kind woman who loved poetry -“

Dream’s eyes widened. You couldn’t be serious, could you?

“- and then there was Lucy.”

“Lucy?” Dream pressed.

“Oh, yes. Tall, blonde, and almost angelic to be honest.”

Everyone glanced at each other as the same thought crossed their mind: you dated Lucifer Morningstar.

#art #ive literally just been treating this game as a library simuator #i walk from bookseller to bookseller opening up all of their books #vivecs sermons are either a highlight or the point at which i stop reading #ive been trying to convince the ordinators that imitation is the highest form of flattery but it hasnt been working #let me wear your helmets please theyre so funny..#posting morrowind in 2024 isnt a cry for help but youre not wrong to be concerned.#morrowind #almalexia #vivec #im going to explain the chitin armor give me a moment #so the bonewalker nerevar on the shrines is adorable and it was only after drawing it however many times that i realized #it looked relatively close to a modified chitin armor #and so i modified chitin armor a few times and this was probably the cutest result #i also know i drew almalexia relatively pristine and untouched by years and vivec not so much but my thought process was #vivecs role as if not a favorite then the most accessible divine or the most “hands on” in a manner of speaking #acting in ways visible to the general population or actions explicitly brought to their attention #like not that almalexia isnt doing anything she is #but the dissemination of information regarding that is very different etc etc etc #anyways to a certain extent a god is the face on a shrine or in art or upon a statue or carving #but vivecs presence is interwoven with the geography of vvardenfell especially and his actions and writings with pubished materials #and the arts and culture and customs etc etc etc #so to me the face of a god you know and feel a commonality with or a god that walks alongside you is a face you would recognize #and vivec is already otherworldly looking enough #the simple mark of the years on his skin in some way grounding him in reality felt more right #that and i think the ways in which he and almalexia care about outward appearance are slightly different- they prioritize different things #and the ways they present outward power and their embodiment of their respective attributes share some similarities as they both have that #important preoccupation with physical power and physical strength to a certain degree #oh my god nobody read this i am yapping so bad.#tes

I have admired the work of the amazing @anotherwellkeptsecret for YEARS, following her originally from the height of my Sherlock obsession all the way until now where she has (to my delight!) crossed over into Good Omens as well.

She also just had a baby!!!! So partly as a congratulations, partly as a thank you for being such an artistic inspiration, and partly so I could practice my own digital art techniques and play with Procreate for the first time, I asked if she would allow me the privilege of coloring some of her favorite pages from her comics while she's on maternity leave. And she said yes!

But she asked me to pick my favorites instead. So I took her at her word and chose one favorite page from each of the ten comics I have saved and loved over the years.

Exactly two weeks later (and in no particular order) here is the final result!! I am so grateful to Kelley for letting me do this, and I have discovered so much about my own style and what I like (excessive lights, apparently lol). I hope you guys like them as much as I do, and please please please go support Kelley's tumblr and Patreon, she absolutely deserves the world. 💕

Shockingly underrated thing about Leo is that he’s legitimately charming when he wants to be?

He’s the Faceman! He’s persuasive! That’s not just some random title he gave himself with no backing to it. People will listen to him. Even if they think he’s being annoying or if they’re upset at him, people listen to him anyway! There’s a reason his bros push him out front to talk to people, and when this happens, that talking nearly always works.

Moreover, Leo knows people. He looks at them and takes into account how they act and what they’re like as he makes his way through the conversations. It’s easy to forget this aspect of Leo’s character because he only brings it out when he really needs (read: wants) to, but it really is a notable part of him that always love to see.

And I say charm in particular because he has a knack for not only getting people to pay attention, but for getting people to stay and listen to what he has to say.
