actually, funniest part of dragonkin!Leo and wolf therian!Jason:
Percy, immediately upon finding out he's a demigod, also found out that his best friend is a goat and his former teacher is a horse. And later down the line also befriended a guy who then found out he's a shapeshifter.
if Leo and Jason tell him that they're a dragon and wolf respectively, honestly that's just par for the course for Percy's life. Like, yeah no, that tracks. Is There Anybody Else Who's Secretly An Animal He Should Know About? Should he just start asking who's not secretly an animal to save time? He's 100% used to it by now but also: if he had a nickel for every time this has happened, he'd have a lot of nickels.

Hi do you have a term for a identity related to being a god but in a human body
Can be alter human since I’m a god even if I’m in a human body!
I’m new here so I don’t know very well the difference between alter human and no human sorry! Thanks for reading ❤️
Godkin and non-human are forms of alterhumanity. Demigod is usually a term for someone who is part human part god. Alterhumans can have a human body.
Hope that helps. Also check this alterhuman dictionary.

A long post about my hearthome
Tumblr media
Context- I must explain first… If you are an alterhuman that’s not familiar with my blog, I gotta explain I’m a turtle spirit/god
So take that information now because this post will make so much more sense if you know that about me lol
also please excuse spelling errors
————————————————
Intro-I don’t think of myself as a past life aterhuman, but I am for sure a spiritual alterhuman.
In short, my experience is knowing my species identity not as a “I was once this” but rather “I was supposed to be this”
My hearthome is a similar thought. I know I was supposed to be born (or hatched) there but something failed in a cycle of either reincarnation or karma.
I am certain that I belong there but I’ve never actually been to the place. All I get are glimpses of it.
————————————————
What it looks like- My hearthome is just one big continent on an otherwise completely oceanic planet, with a few small islands scattered around the sea. It’s very similar to Earth’s Pangea.
I was supposed to be from one of the small islands but we’ll get back to that later…
The continent itself is very jungle-like and possesses bioluminescent rivers and ponds. Most of the architecture was built similarly to early eastern Asian architecture. As for the islands, most remained untouched but others were formed into small villages of huts and treehouses.
————————————————
Who lived there- There are a variety of creatures that inhabit the world but the major ones are humans, animals, and ‘animal gods’ or demigods.
Demigods are usually half animal/half humanoid but some demigods were even created to be a place of elements. (oceans, forests, mountains, stars, etc)
I am a demigod from this world and I mostly resemble a green sea turtle but sometimes I see myself as a red eared slider, I’m not actually sure
All demigods or elemental beings were created by dragons, who were complete gods. Some dragons became teachers for the newly spawned demigods to show them their ways and philosophies but very rarely.
They have to have a very big plan for you if they are going to teach you forbidden knowledge when you were just born.
————————————————
What was the culture like- Now that you know some information about the main continent, I would like to shift the subject to my island home. The name of the island was never told to me but I do know about the practices and beliefs we share.
Opalite is extremely important to us. My clan uses them to create spears, bowls, and jewelry. The way we get these gems is not really possible in the current world I live in, because opalite here needs to be crafted by a human, but in my hearthome, the gems would be formed from the sand and would scatter the ocean floor until someone swam to the bottom to retrieve a piece. Grabbing your first opalite is very much of a ride of passage for my village.
Unlike the people/creatures on the continent who honor dragons, we chose another creature to be our symbol, Orcas. We know the significance of the dragons of course but we put more praise in the creatures we see everyday, rather than dragons that only resided in the main areas of the world.
Makes sense now, knowing that I’m orcahearted
The food we prepare on the island is always amazing. We usually hunt our own fish and grow our own fruits. Most of the fruits that exist on the island sadly don’t exist on this world.
Surfing and sailing is how my village got around to other islands or to the continent, but mainly we did it for fun.
Clothing is usually loose and silky. Mainly lots of beads, gems, and lightweight fabric. Shoes aren’t worn unless you are traveling a long distances, then you would wear geta shoes or something of the sort.
Our music is what I miss/yearn for the most. I wish I could describe it but it’s like it doesn’t want to translate into human words. I don’t think I can verbally illustrate it in a way that gives it justice. It feels like water…? It makes you feel like water is rushing around you, like you are in the center of a river made only of sound.
I think I should stop here, as I am loosing my words…
————————————————
I apologize if this one was an info dump but I appreciate you reading through all this, even if you are one of the sneaky critters that skipped to the end.
I wish I knew more. I wish I could truly be there but that’s not possible. All I have are visions that I hold close to my chest that I now share with you :)

DEVINE•CREATUREKIN
Tumblr media
An otherkin identity where one is alterhuman/nonhuman that is a devine creature in some way, angels, gods, demigods, devine hybrids such as a wolf demigod, an angelic robot or just some holy void! But overall you are a devine creature of sorts
FLAG MEANING
purple symbolizes royalty, creativity of creations and uniqueness
Red symbolizes power and the devine blood which runs through our veins even in this human form
Yellow/gold symbolizes life and joy which we once experienced and which we will again!
White symbolizes the devine light still present in our flesh bodies
Green symbolizes diversity throughout devine creatures
And black symbolizes the rawness of who we are

This is not an ask about your experience i don't think (unless it is?) but if it's okay to repond to your offer for asks with this, i've been wondering: i technically would identify as divinekin, but the divinekin and godkin tags and groups I've encountered are really full of either a) angels of various types b) divine creatures or c) the type of humanlike gods and demigods of pantheons, mostly hellenistic or hellenistic-inspired mythological backstory based conceptions of what a god is. i am more a god of the sort that's like....when a fantasy (or sometimes more vague genre, like magical realism) book comes up with a depiction of, or a version of/analogue of God (or G-d or Allah even more specifically) as a character. i guess i could call myself God!hearted (as in I don't exactly think i am God in a fictionkin or factkin way, but that would be closer to describing me than anything i've seen in godkin circles. Like God is the same Type of God i am, and I'm not the type that, say, Zeus is, or the type Isis is, or the type Thor is, and it's sometimes a distinction that's very hard to get across, or one that seems easy but which seems hard for people to understand as meaning something non-endel alterhuman as opposed to like, either a metaphor or something like 'oh you have a specific delusion that you're omnipotent or the second coming of christ, like one those cult guys?'. So I was wondering, do you know of any people, or groups, who are this or have discussed this?
I'm not able to help much since I don't really know anything about godkin, but @indornaga might know some things! I'll point you over there.

Nonhuman-Humangender
Nonhuman-Humangender is a gender that relates to things that are both human and nonhuman at the same time.
These could be things that used to be human (ghosts, vampires, etc), are partly human (demigods, werewolves, etc), are nonhuman but look human (robots, eldritch monsters, etc), and/or are superhuman (shapeshifters, experiments, etc).
This gender is most connected to people in alterhuman, nonhuman, and otherkin communities, but it can be used by anyone!

Requests open for the Divine!
Whether plural or a singlet we invite all divine beings (angels, demons, gods, daemons, demigods, etc) of any bodily age to request us for various things! We want to be a beacon of positivity for the divine community! There is so much hate surrounding us and even in our own alterhuman and otherkin community. May this be a safe space, a haven, for yourselves.
We want you to know that we believe you. You don’t need to prove to anyone of your current or past divinity. You are respected, you are loved.
For more about us see our pinned post or send an ask! We’d be happy to answer any questions for you to get familiar!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Moodboards!
We’d love to make you a mood board!
Here’s how you can request us:
Go into our ask box of course! If you don’t even want to be on anon you can always DM us and your request will be fulfilled in time!
Be specific, please! Let’s say, for example, you want a moodboard of a forest god. Would the forests be in autumn? Would it be foggy? The trees covered in snow? These details will ensure everyone is happy at the end of the day! (ex. A moodboard for an ocean god, dark and gloomy.)
Positivity Requests!
This is for when you need a little pick me up or validation! Can be as broad or specific as you like! (ex. Positivity for fallen angels OR positivity for an aromantic love goddess)
Advice Requests!
In a sticky divine-related situation? Ask us and we’ll see if we can help! We may be divine ourselves, but don’t take our word as law!
Questions!
Questions from those questioning divinity.
Questions from non-divine.
NOTE: if you are not divine seeking answers please be respectful. I kiss your ring, you kiss mine. Tone tags heavily appreciated.
Please DNI: Kin For Fun for us this is not a fun, quirky choice because being human is too “boring”. Please respect this boundary.

Dumbass rant below cut.
Saw someone lamenting about how they wished that copinglinker and otherlinker hadn't been forced on people with those experiences as "the" go-to terms, and while I can't speak on otherlinker--because it was created after copinglinker, as a functionally identical term but focused solely on identification as (rather than both identification as + identification with) and with a prefix that made the inherent inclusivity more apparent--like, they're fuckin right! I wish the communities hadn't latched onto the "-linker" terms too, especially from a one-off ask about a theoretical "copingkin" (a phenomena we modernly refer to as "kin for fun," but which was justified through different rhetoric back then) replacement that had a whole, what, two sentences put into it? Like, demigod on a stick, what were people thinking? I ignored the blossoming term for a good six months before it started spiraling beyond the point where I could justify not giving the term some kind of proper definition, but I'll openly admit it: I wish the community had never picked up "-linking" verbage. Something else should have been coined, and more to the fact it should have been coined by people who had no fucking idea about alterhuman discourse or politics or terminology. It should have coined completely separate, with zero outside influence by otherkin and otherhearted and all that shit-- it should have been so distinct, that it ought to have caused some kind of frisson or friction upon being put underneath the alterhuman label, because that means it would have had enough standalone politics, discourse, and diversity to warrant it! It wouldn't have had the potential to develop any confusing other- prefix to get confused by, and its history wouldn't be understood solely through the lens of what communities (and those communities' discourses) are existing and intersecting with it; it'd have its own standalone works and arguments and changes to bring to the table, and probably a whole new slew of prefixes that people could enjoy slapping onto every conceivable term imaginable.
Anyways it's too late to turn back the clock and I certainly never meant for what was originally a wholly theoretical term to ever cause All This, but. Fuck me lmao.

thoughts on leo valdez? headcdanons? i
[stares at own url] ...I'll give you one for free, lol
Aro/ace Leo.... listen. He explicitly states that he plays up his false persona in aspects that he feels are lacking in his actual personality in an effort to make people like him more, and in his POVs we get a lot of him doing acknowledged-as-nonserious joke-flirting as part of his false persona. Guy who doesn't realize he's aspec trying to overcompensate for his lack of attraction by excessively hitting on people to hide that he doesn't feel attraction towards anyone? Him wondering if he's broken in a whole bunch of ways and trying to make up for it externally while having an identity crisis about that? Something something metaphor about him wondering if cause he's a Hephaestus kid he's a little too much like a machine/robot and can't feel love or The Right Emotions In General™ because of that cause he doesn't know about aspec stuff yet (or that he's autistic)? Can anyone hear me.
Related to that: Leo landing on Ogygia (island of unreciprocated love) and meeting Calypso, who (probably through love magic) actually seems to be attracted to him? And him trying to force himself to reciprocate because he figures that's just how it's supposed to go and maybe for once he's actually experiencing romantic love? And he's so desperate for someone to like him and to feel useful to someone (re: 7th wheel)? But it fizzles out almost immediately after they leave the island, because the heart-eyes wear off for Calypso, especially once she technically no longer needs him, and Leo can't keep up trying to make himself reciprocate (and can't keep up trying to put his mask back up for her, especially now that Calypso seems to actually care about it). I am literally always thinking about this.
Short king,,, I don't care what anybody says he is NOT 5'6" that is way too tall for him. My guy is 5'5" absolute maximum. I usually place him at 5'3". Tiny guy. Made of pipecleaners. Built like Bilbo Baggins...
I've mentioned it before in a couple of places (i know [here] at least) but I did not like his fake-out death in BoO. Also I'm just mad about his dropped character arc(s) in general. My ideal substitute is that instead of dying and being revived, Festus just crashes in the woods nearby and Leo has overexerted his powers too much a la Nico's shadow stuff and is nearly dead but once they get him to the infirmary he recovers and can start working on recovering from his whole depression arc too. Also maybe he loses a leg in the crash so he can match his dad just for funsies, and so that there's some amount of consequence to his sacrifice to make up for him not dying (not like in canon there were any consequences to him dying and being revived anyways...). Also something something accidental Hiccup HTTYD joke. Leo with a prosthetic is always fun. More Hephaestus kids with prosthetics.
I am very amused by the concept of Leo never having any romantic attraction to Hazel at all, possibly even negative romantic attraction once he finds out she dated his great-grandpa (especially since in canon like 90% of his thoughts about Hazel are just kind of appreciative and genuinely thinking she's really cool, if a little confusing at first), and Hazel pretty quickly gets over her side of things once she gets used to the fact that this is Definitely Not Sammy, he just Looks Like Sammy (and does not actually act like Sammy, that's just a fake persona that is eerily similar by coincidence. Real Leo is actually quite reserved and not so much of a vocal goofball most of the time). So they're just besties after their mutual weird Sammy vision and understanding the deeper sides to each other and are each other's person they're most comfortable letting their guard down around cause they've formed that level of trust. Except Frank's over in the corner seething cause he thinks this is a love triangle but he's the only one who thinks that. Leo just thinks Frank hates him for the general reasons he thinks everybody hates him (which is just an assumption he's kind of used to and expects from people, so he does not question it at all). Hazel knows Frank thinks Leo is trying to steal her from him but she's having trouble trying to keep the two of them from nearly killing each other. It's a very homestuck auspistice dynamic.
Leo and Frank eventually work out their stuff and become very good friends to meeee... let them bond over their mutual fear of fire and dead mom trauma! they have so many parallels and I want the two of them and Hazel to be a funky cute little trio!
Dragonkin Leo! That boy is a dragon!!!! I usually say his stuff is kind of spiritual origin (he doesn't really know how to explain it other than his soul is just a dragon) versus like Jason being a wolf therian with a more psychological origin (being raised by an immortal wolf pack rubbed off on him) (rip Piper being the only non-alterhuman in their trio LMAO). I imagine whatever type of dragon he is probably is very similar to Festus, which is part of why Leo clicks with Festus so quickly - he just sees himself in Festus and it's very comforting to him. He definitely makes himself some fun 'kin gear, like a nice weighted tail and wings and claws to try and help his phantom shifts feel a lil less wonky. Also him having dragon talon weapons just sounds cool. He also totally makes gear for any other alterhuman demigods.

more re: alterhuman demigods, i am still thinking about Annabeth getting SUPER into daemonism because you know she would. That is the exact type of thing that would absolutely fascinate her (and in demigod contexts give her a LOT of thinking material - if she as a child of Athena was born from thought, does that mean she's technically a thoughtform made tangible? If she creates her own thoughtform, is it possible that it could eventually spring from her mind fully-formed as well? would that make it just a real life physical daemon? would she have to call it something else cause daemons are a thing in Greek mythology that means something else? the inner debates of a child of Athena).
Plus she definitely read His Dark Materials and would adore finding out there's a community inspired by it that explores the concept of daemons more. Despite there being like two other alterhumans in the Argo II crew at least, she probably is the one to learn about the alterhuman community first just through deep-diving on daemonism alone. Also cause you know if she found out there's an even larger web of subculture communities that daemonism is grouped under she'd have to go researching about it. She'd have to! She's not gonna leave that stone unturned! She needs to know! She is going to become an expert on the alterhuman community overnight and then excitedly explain her findings to anyone who will listen complete with powerpoint presentation. This is an average day in the Athena cabin.

I’m a bit nervous about sending an ask, but the curiosity has won me over, hope this isn’t too many questions
You said you headcannon Leo Valdez as dragon kin so I was wondering, do you think he has shifts often, if at all? If so, does he generally have some types of shifts more often or is it more balanced? And do the other campers and the seven know? If they do, did he tell them or did they piece it together on their own? If he told them, did he have to explain a lot or were they kind of just like “okay” and didn’t question it a lot? Like they just accepted it and didn’t want to overstep or something is what I mean
I think maybe I’m overthinking this, I really hope I’m not asking too many questions or anything
It's no worries at all! Asks/questions are always welcome!
I think his most usual shifts would be teeth/scales, but they're a lot more subtle so he either doesn't notice them as much or can ignore them. Those ones are probably semi-regular for him but again, more subtle most of the time (most of the time... every once in awhile he gets hit with a stronger maw shift and he's just sitting there gnashing his teeth at the air for like an hour cause his mouth feels weird until it goes away). Maybe also horns.
Less common ones for him but ones he'd notice more are probably wings, tail, and talons. Talons i mostly just think would be funny for him cause he has his habit of tapping his fingers as a stim. Him getting tripped up from the phantom talons while trying to stim, being confused for a minute about why his fingers aren't touching the table and he just ends up tapping out morse code into the air a couple inches above his desk instead. Wings and tail would probably just be pretty standard phantom limbs - they're just there and he's aware of them and maybe able to move them a bit. I imagine he'd eventually try to make some 'kin gear to help with those shifts specifically just so his brain stops error 404ing when his dragon limbs pass through solid objects despite his brain thinking they should be able to tangibly interact.
I don't think Leo would know what otherkin/alterhuman is when he first meets the Argo II crew, and probably wouldn't get the opportunity to learn about it for awhile. He doesn't really have the vocabulary to explain how he's feeling - just that he Is A Dragon. The rest of the crew probably also doesn't know what otherkin/alterhuman is either so they don't have an explanation for him, but, yknow, demigod life is already so goddamn weird, if Leo says he's a dragon that's not the most abnormal thing they've heard that week and they'll just take his word for it and accept it. And Jason probably understands the feeling re: being a wolf therian, even though he doesn't have the vocabulary to explain it either, so there's at least some solidarity there.
Earlier on I think Leo would just crack a lot of jokes about being a dragon, not particularly explaining how he feels about it to the others but just kind of putting the concept out there. He might try to explain it if the topic comes up but, as mentioned before, just struggle too much to try and find the words for it (the adhd/dyslexia/autism wording problems do not help there). I do like to think though that, due to their Hades/Pluto kid soul powers, Nico and Hazel would actually be able to pick up on spiritual-origin otherkin/therians/etc if they focused on it - Nico in particular, probably a lot more passively - and be able to kind of see phantom limbs/shifts sometimes (cause goodness knows how souls/spirit stuff works in the Riordanverse and I can have my self-indulgent silly alterhuman worldbuilding hcs if i want to - also at least partially inspired by some journal posts i've read of people mentioning people/animals/automatic doors picking up on their phantom limbs and being able to track the movement and stuff. if any demigod would be able to do that it's gonna be the kids with literal soul/phantom powers). I just find the concept amusing of Leo trying to explain this extremely metaphysical experience and Nico's just off to the side like "Oh yeah no, your soul is a dragon. Like, very literally. Dunno how that happened but good for you. btw why do you have ghost wings sometimes?" And Leo's grateful for someone helping him explain it but also isn't sure how he should react to statement. Eventually though one of the crew stumbles across alterhuman stuff - probably Leo or Annabeth, most likely accidentally through looking into daemonism stuff (you know they both read His Dark Materials) - and they put two and two together and finally have a means to explain it and Leo could not be more relieved (though he still doesn't know how to feel about Nico's soul comments).
I love rotating alterhuman demigods in my brain

do you have any other pjo alter human hcs? 👀
Yes!
Leo being dragonkin and Jason being a wolf therian are my two main ones. Like i mentioned in that other post, I imagine Leo's is more spiritual-origin and Jason's is specifically more psychological-origin from being raised by Lupa's pack. I already went over some of the dragonkin!Leo ones in the previous post so I'll focus more on the wolf therian Jason ones here- (under a cut for length)
Because all the Romans are trained by the wolves, plus a small friendly monster population in New Rome that includes dog-headed people, Jason just. does not think twice at all about identifying so strongly as a wolf. He just presumes that's a normal thing. Everybody else just thinks he's being Very Roman so they don't question it either. It probably isn't until he goes to CHB that he realizes not everybody feels like that.
That doesn't stop him and Leo from having a conversation about feeling like a wolf/dragon respectively and continuing to presume that it's totally not an identity thing they're gonna be thinking about A Lot later on and either Everybody Just Feels Like That or they're both just got the same oddly specific unique thing going on (it's not like it'd be the only thing - they're also both Hera's champions. maybe it's just a champions of Hera thing). It's fine, they'll figure it out eventually. Piper is extremely confused about what they're going on about though.
Jason is excited a very normal amount about the concept of werewolves. He's totally not mad that he wasn't able to defeat Lycaon in battle and gain shapeshifting powers. Definitely not. He's also definitely not jealous of Frank for having shapeshifting powers, or jealous that Nico and Reyna got to fight the lycanthropes more.
Leo is also immensely jealous of Frank's shapeshifting and is heavily considering trying to bargain with the gods to swap his fire powers for that.
Jason has an encyclopedic knowledge of like every werewolf myth from different mythologies and folktales and he WILL excitedly infodump about them.
The Greco-roman werewolf myths may have not turned out for him, but the minute Jason finds out that Norse myths are on the table he's begging Annabeth if they can go visit her cousin. For science. Just to see if the Norse werewolf myths are any better. By the gods he will figure out if safely and ethically becoming a wolf is possible somehow. (He has definitely also asked Reyna to use Circe magic to turn him into a wolf before. Up to interpretation how that went down.)
Jason using claw weapons!!!!! He definitely has fought with his teeth before but he gets his hands on some nice hefty and sturdy claws and he is THRIVING with them. If he could get some sort of teeth armor/weapon to use too, he would. Unfortunately that one's a bit harder to get so his real teeth will have to do for now, when an option. (He definitely bit Krios and is 100% up for using his teeth in a fight you cannot convince me otherwise)
Speaking of biting - Jason is a biter, just in general. He affectionately chews on/nips at his friends as both an oral stim AuDHD thing and a 'kin thing. Also playfighting/sparring with them. He'd probably get into quadrobics and parkour as well if given the opportunity.
Leo's not so much into that sort of very active stuff (or very platonically affectionate stuff). He's mostly hanging out with his hoard of machinery in his den Bunker 9. They're still shiny things, they're still his hoard. He's a bit more territorial of Bunker 9 than he'd like to admit since it's his space (also combo dragonkin brain/autism stuff) but trying to explain why is way too much of a headache for him, and most people stay out of there anyways so it doesn't come up much which is fine by him.
In terms of more dragonkin-affirming activities though, despite his aversion to fire, Leo's fallen asleep in a fireplace/bed of coals/etc a couple of times in his life and he will never admit how comfortable and affirming that was for him. He does also generally feel a bit better about his fire powers if it's just the fire-resistance part, or if he's breathing fire specifically (because also it's just cool, and how can he not feel like a badass super big and strong dragon when he's literally breathing fire?) (that time in BoO he totally let loose his fire and turned into functionally a supernova of flames was also weirdly affirming for him and he doesn't know what to do with that information). He's also probably tried making arm stilts before, just to see what they're like, and if he could improve the design at all to feel and look more natural.
...Atypical pronoun sets? Atypical pronoun sets. It'd probably be awhile before they actually start using them, but I think both Leo and Jason might vibe at least a lil with he/its for otherkin/therian reasons. Leo also probably dre/drem/dris. I also think Jason would particularly vibe with wolfgender. He didn't know that was an option and once he does he really likes it. (Also have you seen the masc wolfgender flag? Look at that and tell me that's not Jason.)
Camp Jupiter probably has more alterhuman folks than CHB, just in terms of population sizes and also just given how they're trained/raised it probably comes up more over there. This does somehow simultaneously make Jason more convinced that it's just an average thing but also less aware that being otherkin/a therian is even a thing.
My friend and I have talked a lot about the absolute weirdness potential that might occur with being an alterhuman demigod. Can you imagine being some creature from mythology and then finding out not only do they actually exist in that exact moment in your world, but also they will try to hunt you down? Something something intense alterhuman linguistic debates about if you're a mythological monster does that qualify more as therian or otherkin (based on the proposed delineation of therian = real world creatures / otherkin = mythological/legendary/etc)? (second philosophical/linguistic debate happening in the background of feral/animalistic = therian / less feral/animalistic = otherkin delineation but if that monster was originally a mortal then which do they qualify as?) (third conference happening behind that one of demigods journaling their experiences as monsters who were originally mortals and how that impacts them as demigods.) The awkwardness that must exist from being like hydrakin or something and then having to fight a hydra. Or being a different kind of hydra than exists in the riordanverse (or, weirder, being hydrakin but Monster Donut hydra specifically and having to explain your odd inexplicable connection to donuts before you figure out that's a thing).
Again: Leo making 'kin gear for demigodsssss. Maybe he's the one who makes the claw weapons for Jason, who knows.
For other major characters: Annabeth would definitely be totally fascinated by daemonism and probably experiment with it at least a bit. Nico I could see vibing with voidpunk. Hazel I could also see vibing with just general label alterhuman relating to her whole being-revivied-from-the-dead situation. Maybe same for Thalia for the same reasons, or Thalia even vibing with being like dryad-hearted/kith due to the whole pine tree thing.
I got another ask about this so there will be more headcanons along these lines soon as well.

I feel a little weird when I talk about my identity as a turtle because I usually post stuff about my monsterhood
I know my alterhumanity shouldn’t be a performance for my followers but I do feel like I’m hitting you with
“oh by the way I’m a turtle demigod and this is what I am at my core and the monster thing isn’t my spiritual identity per say”
That, and I also I feel vulnerable talking about this part of myself
