listen to me. listen. The Boy seems like an incredibly boring, shitty movie. I know that. I can see that.

Lady Miss Clara Entwhistle
'Miss Entwhistle' or 'Miss Clara Entwhistle' is said 93 times across Seasons 1 and 2 of Victoriocity. 'Lady [Clara] Entwhistle' is never said until S3E4. I'm obsessed with the fact that every time Clara has introduced herself or been referred to by name - every time she's been 'Miss' rather than 'Lady' - it's been a symbol for her of how she's building her own life, separate from her family and their expectations for her. She could have adopted a whole new name if she wanted to entirely disguise her aristocratic family ties, but she choose a more subtle shift.
Before she came to London, how many times had she walked into rooms she didn't want to be in and been announced as 'Lady Clara Entwhistle'? Did it feel strange to her at first, the switch to introducing herself without any hint at her father's Earldom? Or did it just feel right, her name finally able to stand on its own, like she was trying to?
How many situations has Clara been in since moving to London where her title would have commanded respect and made things easier? How many people has she met who would have been impressed that she was a member of the aristocracy, who might have cooperated more quickly or revealed information more easily had they known? In the confrontation with Merrick in the House of Commons, for example, would there have been quite so much jeering and disbelief from the benches at the words of an Earl's daughter, as opposed to a random unmarried female journalist? But she's never played that card - it's never felt worth it to her.
When we first meet Clara as she enters London, she says "Well, my mother's occupation is... Lady, I suppose. And I am a journalist." Lady is a role which defines her mother, who is appalled by the idea of having an occupation. "Why couldn’t you just have married a duke, moved to Saxony and died of scarlet fever like your sister?" is funny in its ridiculousness, but it's also horrifying; Clara's mother would prefer a dead daughter than a daughter who is living the life Clara wants. That's something that must weigh on her, even when the ties are cut. Coming from an environment like that, it's no wonder if she sees a life of autonomy and independence as inherently incompatible with any acknowledgement of the role in society she was born into. So she goes by 'Miss', and she doesn't seem to talk about her aristocratic heritage, and still she's asking herself "what it means to be free, for birds or people"...

And in a few episodes when they get to Evontra’vir and Ashton finds out that the “shard of power” the tree gave the leader of the Hishari was a luxon beacon or a broken shard of a luxon beacon what then? Huh? WHAT THEN???
(Also yes this is going off of my theory that the shit the hishari pulled was some kind of experiment on the luxon beacons and yes I am aware its very likely it wasn’t a luxon beacon or a baby beacon or something but how cool would it be if it was?????? Very cool the answer is very fucking cool)

If you want to, feel free to share some Eddie and Latter ideas
I love them, they’re so lovely :3
Oh,, I have So Many,,, This is gonna be Long
Met at Howdy's birthday party (his parents, Latter, and Seeya came to visit)
They hit it off great and became pen pals! I've mentioned it before but Latter sends Eddie poems and Eddie send him paper crafts <3
They boost each other's self-esteem! They're both underappreciated and ignored and they cheer each other up
Eddie does genuinely enjoy Latter's poetry. Does he get it? Not completely, but he knows Latter is proud of his work!
Big literature and theatre nerds. I specifically believe they've had at least one Long Indepth conversation about Frankenstein.
Similarly! Theatre kids. Eddie was mostly in the costume and set/prop department while Latter thrived in the Drama on stage
Latter tells Eddie family gossip, and Eddie brings it up when he delivers to Howdy. "How's So and so? Latter said-" You get it. Howdy Is upset lol but cant do anything bc he tells Barnaby the same gossip.
Ship Stuff <3
Latter fell first, Eddie is irresistible <3 He writes not so subtle love poems
Oh man the cuddles. I've also mentioned this before but I'm bringing it up again. Eddie's usually the one Holding in a cuddle, ya know? He's the big spoon. But Latter is like twice his size, with 3x the arms and Wings.
Eddie gets to little spoon and be held/carried and he is flabbergasted but loving every second. Latter can lift him quite easily and That's Definitely New to Eddie. He doesn't know what to do with himself when Latter carries him.
Latter adores holding Eddie, and is greatly amused when he gets flustered.
Side hc to go w/ above! I hc Latter is pathetic in public but is actually very chill when not seeking the approval the others. Like at home he's just vibing! He's still not the most confident butterfly, but he has his moments! He's a Pillar after all and one of many family traits is Confidence.

I had all these thoughts on the subway about how being leftist for religious reasons means I'm low-key a Christmas curmudgeon (or at least like, north american commerical Christmas culture, joining the war on Christmas on the side of the war, tbh) and how it's not my fault my depressive temperament and obsessive tendencies mean I've always been a sorrowful mysteries girlie anyway, smthn smthn John the beloved, agony in the garden, betrayal of a kiss, why have you forsaken me, the endless waiting of the vigil Saturday, the stubborn grim foolish hope of Magdalene in the garden. Its not even about the promise fulfilled it's about the agony and the waiting and the virtue of hope when it is not smthn reasonably hoped for
But also. Maybe. Sometimes. I should just shut up!! Keep up the mystery to be cool or whatever

Day 15
“Tatsumi-senpai, have you ever kissed anyone?” Kaname asked, sitting across from the other boy in the catacombs. Everyone else had left for the night leaving the two of them alone.
“Why are you asking?” Tatsumi replied, confused as he moved one of his chess pieces on the board. Kaname didn’t know anything about how the game worked and was mostly just guessing at where the pieces moved.
“A-ah it’s nothing, I was just wondering…I haven’t kissed anyone.” Kaname could feel his face heating up. God this was embarrassing, why was he doing this?
“I haven’t kissed anyone either.” Their game of chess forgotten for the moment. Kaname’s face burned even hotter.
“Would you--would you like to try kissing?” He barely squeaked out. How was the great Kaname Tojou such a loser when it came to his crush? He should be confident and yet here he was.
“Can you repeat that, Kaname-san?” He loved the way his name sounded in Tatsumi’s voice. It made him want to die in the moment though.
“Can I--Can we try…kissing?” His voice was still soft but evidently loud enough for Tatsumi to hear if the slight blush on his face was evidence of anything. Tatsumi gently moved their chess board to the side and slid closer to Kaname. Kaname felt his heart rate pick up at the proximity as Tatsumi leaned in closer.
How was he supposed to kiss? He tried to remember the movies and how they did it, closing his eyes and letting Tatsumi guide him, his lips slightly parted. The moment Tatsumi’s lips touched his he thought he would fly, and evidently his mouth moved before he could think, as Tatsumi let out a yelp and brought a hand to his lips.
Kaname bit him. Oh how embarrassing! It wasn’t enough to draw blood but still!
“I’m so sorry Tatsumi-senpai! I didn’t mean to do that! Oh god--”
Tatsumi laughed. Kaname stopped in his tracks as Tatsumi continued laughing. He wasn’t laughing at Kaname, though, or at least not at Kaname as a person, but rather at his reaction to the whole thing.
“It’s okay, Kaname-san. We can try again if you’d like.”
“Y-yes I’d like that very much.”
They leaned in again and Kaname clenched his jaw to keep himself from biting Tatsumi again, but he got a little overeager again and felt their heads bump into each other and not where their lips were (which was where he was aiming for). Kaname curses under his breath but Tatsumi giggles again (a heavenly sound to Kaname’s ears) and cups his face before gently guiding him to Tatsumi’s lips.
Kaname was too in shock to do anything for a moment. He was kissing someone. And not just someone. He was kissing Tatsumi Kazehaya, heartthrob of Reimei Academy. He closed his eyes and relaxed, reaching to grab Tatsumi’s blazer and pull him closer. He felt their teeth clack together but it wasn’t as bad as their first attempt and for Kaname, that was enough.
They pulled away, panting heavily, and Kaname noticed that Tatsumi’s pupils had dilated. He wanted to pull Tatsumi in for another kiss but held himself back, at least for a moment.
“That wasn’t so bad,” Tatsumi spoke, breathless and full of affection.
“No, it wasn’t.” Kaname pulled Tatsumi back in for another kiss, narrowly avoiding bumping their heads together again. He could do this forever, just him and Tatsumi in the catacombs, kissing to their hearts content.
