amélie the musical (broadway recording) or amélie the musical (london recording) choose wisely
easy. london because broadway doesn't have the greatest part of the entire musical aka the "oh, oh, oh, oh" melody line and chorus of flight of the blue fly, which then returns in halfway (reprise) and makes me start crying
(any mutuals unfamiliar with amélie the musical please listen to this song, it makes me feel like running through a field of wheat à la theresa may)

A lot of ppl talk about “this didn’t need to be made into a musical” BUT what about “this works so well as a musical” musicals??
My personal pick is Amelie (esp west end) bc for a story about a woman who can’t communicate ‘normally’ and has trouble speaking her feelings and is also in her own little world, the ‘if you can’t speak, then sing’ adage of MT works SO WELL.
