Here she is, dragsters new form for TT2! She is back and ready to go babyyyy 🏁 🏎️

This is also the reveal of her new name, Della Monroe! now I don’t have to just call her “dragster” anymore lmao

Also this time I also included the car she races with, since TT2 went with a formula one theme I chose to give her a F1 car. The patterns on the car were inspired by the TT2 train.

Short summary of her backstory:

Della was a sponsored top fuel dragster racer for cedar point to promote their newest attraction in 2003, which just so happened to be themed to dragsters. Della was a fiery, charismatic and competitive racer with a passion for her craft, and it showed as she was a very talented racer. However, in 2019 (before the TTD ride incident) she would suffer a near fatal accident during one of her races in the Sandusky speedway. After this, she retired from racing due to her trauma. For years she stayed away from racing, but she would have to confront her fears in 2024 when cedar fair approached her once again to be their sponsored formula 1 racer for Top Thrill 2. She was hesitant at first, but after receiving support from her peers and long time fans, she decided to come out of her shell and race again. Now, she’s back to being her old self again, and takes pride in what she does.

An amusement park management game set in Steeplechase from The Adventure Zone. You can spend your funds to build rides and attractions, to repair existing ones and for research and development of new rides. You can hire staff to maintain the park, take care of security, entertain guests and take care of the cleaning and the food stands. Running an amusement park is not easy, and if your only concern is your bottom-line and you start cutting corners, that greed might eventually come to bite you in the ass, whether it is from rides breaking down and causing a serious accident and the ensuing bad press... or from alienating your own employees, who might decide to look for alternative sources of income, or even decide that the park is due for a change of leadership.

Each level is a layer from Steeplechase: Ustaben, Gutter City, Passion's Cove, Ephemera, Infiniteum, Kidadelphia, Lugelandia... You get to build them from the ground up however you like. While the regular game mode has you tending to one layer at a time, you can also play in co-op, where each player tends to a different layer, or, if you're up to the challenge, you can go for expert mode and attempt to manage all layers at the same time by yourself.

When playing this game, you can also choose between playing as Dentonic and focus on managing the park... or as an outlaw, where your mission would be to sabotage the layer or layers of your choosing, while slowly increasing your influence in the Buttercream (the secret place between layers where the outlaws live). If played in co-op mode, one side can play as Dentonic and another as the Outlaws.

Universal is pretty sweet actually

While I’m usually more of a Disney parks fan I was at Universal for part of my spring break and I’ve realized how harsh I’ve been on these parks and how “a bunch of screens” is really reductive. While they’re not filled with dark rides there’s a lot there to love.

I still have my fair share of criticism like for one thing they have stopped giving paper maps (despite supplying tickets) and force you onto the app if you want to know your way around.

Another being just how little there actually is (if there were more stores and restaurants or shows would’ve loved to know like maybe on a map or something) each park has a few rides making the waits INSANE at times. Then they took out a bunch of classics (Jaws, Twister etc) but then there’s just… no replacement, there’s just space and an empty facade as far as I’m aware. They keep closing and taking away like the Poseidon walkthrough was one of my favorite things and it’s gone for no real good reason as far as I know etc.

Goods-

The theming in the parks is insane and I absolutely adored it. Every inch of both parks is so themed and its own little universe (in a world where Disney is stripping the theming from hotels and ruining sight lines, bare minimum queues etc this was refreshing). Every queue was fantastic and filled with detail, so waiting was a little less horrible with so much to observe.

Streetmosphere! MGM (Hollywood studios) and Disney used to similarly have this and have lightly brought back some characters out and about but not really. Alternatively universal had a BUNCH — a guy at the cab just walking in, blues brothers, all the classic cartoons out to meet and greet etc etc. preformance and walk about interaction was abundant— so adding this to their theming I was absolutely losing my mind.

Like the rides may be so so , all are enjoyable but you know what I mean- but what really hits it out of the park for me is how throughly they’ll tell a story. Starting in the queue and even continuing as you exit with details and employee behavior etc

“All screens” but I’ve noticed even screen heavy rides will tend to have a full set piece or two or it will be a healthy mix of both. Kong for example starts and ends in full sets and with animatronics. (They’ve changed it and it’s better than I remember but still the best queue I’ve ever been in)

Also a huge love for far side lmao. Seen a few in at least two lines.

i was 100% prepared to go for 5 copies of the 5* but seeing it was the usual valentines day recolor of the unit outfits im a little less sure, even though i do think the little add-ons and gradients are adorable.......... but if it has an even MORE adorable unbloomed its a sealed deal

I finally redesigned my Eclipse design into something I can use outside of dca (still vibe with it, just that particular au doesnt bring joy anymore)! Now he is a bug boy

There also some chibi practice with my oc's! The lion is from my failed nuzlocke run of y, and the spider is from a story that is still developing

I also taken some requests to make a comission sheet! If only my style was staying the same for longer than a few hours -_- (all five were made in two days. I suffer)

Lightning rod ⚡️🏎️

So, this was day 7 of coaster may-nia, a challenge where you personify a coaster every day. However im not doing it every day cus i am not stressing myself out doing daily prompts, so instead i chose to do a few that i was interested in/could fit in my stories. Lightning Rod of course was day 7, and it's a coaster I’ve had in my bucket list for a while. Even though they changed the lift to a regular chain lift, it still looks like a fun ride and I can’t wait to get the chance to ride it someday!

Anyway here’s my character, he’s an electric eel named Leon who loves cars and spends his time tinkering and racing with his beloved hot rod, which he of course calls “Lightning Rod.” He’s a hobbyist who doesn’t care about the fame, and he’s always eager to help another hot rod racer out. He’s very upbeat and extroverted, and will absolutely talk your head off about anything. He’s a laud back guy who’s pretty down to earth, hes someone you could definitely chill and have a beer with.
