An amusement park management game set in Steeplechase from The Adventure Zone. You can spend your funds to build rides and attractions, to repair existing ones and for research and development of new rides. You can hire staff to maintain the park, take care of security, entertain guests and take care of the cleaning and the food stands. Running an amusement park is not easy, and if your only concern is your bottom-line and you start cutting corners, that greed might eventually come to bite you in the ass, whether it is from rides breaking down and causing a serious accident and the ensuing bad press... or from alienating your own employees, who might decide to look for alternative sources of income, or even decide that the park is due for a change of leadership.
Each level is a layer from Steeplechase: Ustaben, Gutter City, Passion's Cove, Ephemera, Infiniteum, Kidadelphia, Lugelandia... You get to build them from the ground up however you like. While the regular game mode has you tending to one layer at a time, you can also play in co-op, where each player tends to a different layer, or, if you're up to the challenge, you can go for expert mode and attempt to manage all layers at the same time by yourself.
When playing this game, you can also choose between playing as Dentonic and focus on managing the park... or as an outlaw, where your mission would be to sabotage the layer or layers of your choosing, while slowly increasing your influence in the Buttercream (the secret place between layers where the outlaws live). If played in co-op mode, one side can play as Dentonic and another as the Outlaws.
Similar games that actually exist: Theme Park World, RollerCoaster Tycoon
I was in a post-100% Super Mario Odyssey theme park and had to scan and unlock several Owl House style glyphs that were hiding in turns and corners in order to save this place.
Use the scale up & down feature on your keyboard to make the items larger or smaller to your liking. If you have a non-US keyboard, it may be different keys depending on which alphabet it uses. This is useful for the plushies in this set, you can make size variations in the game booths 💗
Always suggested: bb.objects ON, it makes placing items much easier. For further placement tweaking, check out the TOOL mod.

My fav thing about TAZ is that any aspect out of context sounds fucking bonkers.
Like, in the balance finale there's a scene in which Garfield (who is very specifically never described visually bc most people imagine him as like. The Lasagna Cat. Who in this universe is the most powerful warlock in the realm and also has a hobby of cloning people, which is great for the one character that got forced into haunting a mannequin) is summoned by an alien spaceship that runs on the power of friendship so he could beat up some flashing balls. In D&D.
And that was just. Such a normal scene in the narrative. No one blinked an eye. I would like to bow down to Griffins clear unmatched talent for making me feel such big emotions over ridiculous shit like a goddamned umbrella or a regular ass pair of jeans or the idea of a taco recipe.
can't wait for when universal buys up the song of ice and fire property and creates a game of thrones park, and there's an inn at the crossroads that serves bowl of brown ($20 by the way, but you have you pay in gold dragons like chuck e cheese currency) and frothy arbor gold. there's a dragon themed ride of course (120 minute wait time) and you can take photos with sandor and arya who look like theyre wearing polyester renaissance fair fits. theres a wildfyre shop that's called the Alchemist's Guild, and everyone inside is dressed as a pyromancer with a fake beard. they take you around the store and induct you into their order by teaching you the dark art of pyromancy (making green rock candy). sure it's cringe but it's also a bit endearing you think. that is, until you see the shop merch is emblazoned with a cutesy 'burn them all' on the outside with a chibi aerys ii. the bathrooms all say 'maidens' and 'sers.'
i'm going to thorpe park on friday so (naturally) here are my hcs for the foxes at a theme park:
they absolutely go to a theme park together sometime shortly before the girls graduate. wymack and abby were invited to join them, but they decided to stay behind for a much-needed day of peace.
HCs for each character:
allison treats everyone to fast-track passes to skip the long queues. what do you mean they aren't essential??? she's never been to a theme park without them. she also is number one hater of those couples in the queue who are doing WAY too much PDA. she refuses to go on any rides with water involved because she doesn't like getting her hair wet. she also ends up being 'in charge' as such- she's the one who always decides what ride they're going on next.
neil is such an adrenaline junkie: there isn't a single ride he won't go on, and he loves every single minute of their day, from the overpriced food to the queues (albeit short ones- thanks allison). guy after my own heart fr <33
andrew will go on most things, but anything too high is obviously a no (for example stealth at thorpe park which is 62m high). ofc only neil knows that andrew is afraid of heights, but the others don't comment when he stays behind to smoke rather than getting on the next ride.
kevin also refuses to go on any water rides. he gets stopped by a few people who recognise him but it doesn't really bother him. if they didn't have fast-track passes he would be the WORST complainer about the wait times
dan and matt are lowkey that couple in theme park queues, and they both will get on anything
aaron gets teased by the others for screaming like a girl. multiple times throughout the day, he gets his height measured by staff in the queue to check he's tall enough for the ride (damn kevin and matt for making him look even shorter by comparison). he also hates the PDA couples but if he went with katelyn they would totally be one of them
nicky is incapable of going through the exit of a ride without finding their photo on the screen first. and yes he absolutely does buy at least one of them to go on the photo wall in the lounge back at the court. fuck their ridiculous prices, he also has to get a couple of souvenirs because if you don't want one of those shitty little ride-themed water bottles then you must just hate fun (according to him anyway)
renee is calm and collected as always, but she screams a lot on all the rides because that makes it more fun
extra stuff
none of the boys thought to bring a bag, so they end up constantly asking renee to let them put stuff in her bag. renee does and says she doesn't mind, but allison tells her not to let them because how else are they going to learn to bring one next time???
nicky brings way too much stuff (which then also goes in renee's bag). someone tell him you do NOT need to bring a big bottle of sun cream and two pairs of sunglasses your ass is not going to use them
neil sometimes hesitates when he sees andrew hang back when he doesn't want to go on a ride. once or twice, he chooses to stay back and wait with andrew for the others to be done, but all it takes is a look andrew's way to understand that andrew doesn't mind waiting on his own at all (but he loves neil's quiet company those times neil stays behind with him)
PLS tell me any of your own headcanons about this and if you agree/disagree with any of this 🫶🫶
Okay!
~14 years ago, a young teen disappeared from a local amusement park, leaving behind a little bit of blood and maybe some hair. After the two year investigation, no one could figure out where they gone or even how.
But now, this missing teen just walked right through the hospital's front doors, looking beaten and bruised, like they went through absolute hell and back. It was almost obvious that one of their legs was broken and yet they still walked on it, and one eye didn't look like it could be saved. But the strangest, almost horrifying part about all of this? They were still a young teenager.
“What’s up with 14?” Wild asked as he cleaned a stretcher. “Why are there cops over there? Thought I saw Impa for a sec.”
“Kid’s been missing for over two years, so uh, he got some attention,” Legend replied while he munched on some peanuts.
“Missing? And he’s still alive?” Warriors asked, rolling his chair over. “That’s different. Usually it’s just a recovery.”
“Well, it could’ve been if he’d waited much longer,” Legend huffed, glancing at the patient’s xray.
Warriors barked out a laugh. “Waited longer? Honestly, you make it sound like the kid just decided not to get help until now.”
Wild shrugged. “I mean… people go missing for different reasons.”
“Yeah, but this was a fourteen-year-old kid who went missing at an amusement park. Doubt he meant to be gone for years,” Legend explained. “He looks like crap. Also, he hasn’t grown much, still looks like a pre-adolescent to me. Kind of weird and creepy.”
“That’s called malnutrition, genius,” Warriors snorted.
Legend rolled his eyes. “I know that, jerk face.”
“All right, kids, play along,” Wild snorted waving his hands at the two. “I have to go take a patient to the floor, try not to kill each other while I’m gone.”
Legend hummed, grabbing his energy drink, and then Wild snatched it out of his hand.
“And try not to kill yourself, either, Legend,” Wild added, holding the drink above his friend.
Legend snarled. “Give that back!”
Warriors chuckled, rolling away. “Careful, Wild, he bites!”
Current thoughts because I’m thinking of animatronics: one of those plots where the rogues take over everything and each have their own territory, except for whatever reason The Mad Hatter was taken out in some manner after already kidnapping an “Alice”, and his territory, a theme park titled “Alice’s Wonderland” full of animatronics of Wonderland characters, goes untouched, no one ventures into it
So everyone assumes it’s probably all desolate and run down and stuff, but when they finally go into it, they find “Alice” who’s just been living in the park the whole time, riding coasters and eating cotton candy and being taken care of by the animatronics, and “Alice” refuses to leave
(Part of it is that I think it’d be really funny if Tetch actually can make places “Alice” really enjoys,,,, but only if he’s not there)
Nintendo owned a huge chunk of Antarctica, and built a Legend of Zelda theme park on it. The theme park was just a mall, with no Legend of Zelda stuff in it.
