STARS UNVEIL ! ( intro. )
Hello, members of Tumblr! <3
I see that you have clicked on my blog—hopefully curious as to what contents it might hold.
So, let’s start off with a quick introduction of myself! ( This post may or may not be a tad bit long )
I am a writer, and you may address me as Star! ( or Aqua, if you're more comfortable with that! )
I mainly write on Wattpad, but since I don't want my Wattpad account to appear cluttered with my ramblings and shenanigans, I'll dump a lot of my work on this app, so be prepared for that!
My pronouns are she/they and I identify as girlflux. My MBTI is INTP, and I’m from Southeast Asia!
Now that you know a bit about me, it’s time to move on to unfurling the various contents of my blog.
Simply put, I’ll mainly be rambling off about my OCs on this site. As you are already aware of—or not, well, now you’ll know!— I have an absolute truckload of OCs, many of which I haven’t spoken of in public.
Well, on this blog, you will discover more and more about them as time passes.
Before you continue, I’d like to inform you that most of my OCs are paired—both romantically and platonically—with canon characters from fictional universes, so I will confidently say that you will see content of them interacting with characters from their respective universes.
If you are uncomfortable with that, then I suggest you immediately stop interacting with my blog, as the type of content aforementioned will make up most of my posts here, so we can all avoid conflict and ill feelings. It’s as simple as a few clicks on your screen, really.
Anyway, if you’re still interested and wish to proceed, then thank you for that!
If you have any queries about any of my OCs, feel free to drop an ask and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can! I also wouldn’t mind writing ‘x reader’ content with my OCs, so you can request those too! All I ask is that you be descriptive with your requests and strictly no NSFW. I’d just take a while to get to writing it because I’m not very active on Tumblr and am a student with a hectic schedule irl.
With that being said, I offer you a warm welcome to my blog, so do make yourself comfortable in your favorite blanket with a cup of your comfort drink as I provide my best works for you to indulge in!
With love,
Star.

Ace Attorney Investigations Collection Announced
At the Nintendo Direct today, news I have been tirelessly waiting six years for arrived: The Ace Attorney Investigations games are coming to all modern consoles! This includes Ace Attorney Investigations 2 (now officially known as Ace Attorney Investigations: Prosecutor's Gambit), after THIRTEEN YEARS of being a Japan-exclusive game!
Now everyone gets to experience Debeste Ace Attorney games! ... The Winner Ace Attorney Games!
Key Information
The collection is coming out on September 6, 2024 to the Nintendo Switch, PS4, XBOX One, Windows, and Steam. It will be available in Japanese, English, French, German, Korean, and Traditional and Simplified Chinese, with new voice dubs. Most of the information in this post will be coming from the official website, which you can check out for more details.
The reveal trailer is as follows:
youtube
There's lots of information here, so let's break it down:
New Features
Since these were originally Nintendo DS games, there's a massive jump in graphic quality to HD! This includes a new interface for Logic, the court record, and redone full-body sprites. But if you prefer the classic look, the AAI collection will let you swap between the sprite styles:
Similarly to the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles and 456 Collection, the AAI Collection includes story mode, dialogue history, a gallery containing concept and special art, and music including orchestral arrangements of the soundtrack.
You can also change the in-game soundtrack to rearranged tracks! This applies to Confrontation - Allegro, Confrontation - Presto, Objection 2009, and Pursuit - Chase Down The Truth (commonly known as Lying Coldly) with and without the intro.
Pre-Order Bonuses
Much like the AAI tracks, AAI2 arranged tracks can play in game, but these are currently restricted to pre-order bonuses (though this might change in the future). This includes Confrontation - Allegro 2011, Confrontation - Presto 2011, Objection 2011, and the intro and non-intro versions of Pursuit - Uncover The Truth (commonly known as Wanting To Find The Truth).
That's all on the English side, but much like the 456 collection, Japan has a physical collector's edition called the Mitsurugi (Edgeworth) Checkmate Set. This includes an arranged mini-album of songs by other composers, and new album art by Tatsuro Iwamoto.
The new songs include "Objections of Different Eras" (seemingly a remix of Objections 2009 and 2011), "Raven that Pursues The Truth" (remix of Kay's theme), "It's Time for Action!" (remix of Gumshoe's theme), "Howling Echoes" (remix of Lang's theme), and "Unveiling the Truth" (remix of the Pursuit songs).
This collection also includes a diorama set:
The set has two backgrounds (the rooftop of the Grand Tower and Edgeworth's office), and has standees of Edgeworth, Kay, Gumshoe, Franziska, Lang, Gregory, and... Verity and Eustace.
Which is a good segue into:
Localization Differences
Since most AA fans will be familiar with the fantastic AAI2 fan translation, the new names will likely be an adjustment for all of us. Characters in AAI (like Kay and Lang) will not have their names changed, just characters that were previously exclusive to AAI2.
Known name changes include:
Yumihiko Ichiyanagi / Sebastian Debeste -> Eustace Winner
Hakari Mikagami / Justine Courtney -> Verity Gavèlle
Tateyuki Shigaraki / Raymond Shields -> Eddie Fender
We also know that Manosuke Naito / Horace Knightley's new last name is Knight, and Gai Tojiro / Ethan Rooke's last name is Rook, which isn't much of a departure from fan translation names. We also know that Mikiko Hayami / Nicole Swift's new last name is Lloyd. I will provide updates on more names when they become available!
Regardless of your feelings on the new names - it's going to be an adjustment for everyone used to the fan translation that has been around ten years now - let's all keep in mind that despite the new names, the characters behind the names will be the same. And personally, as a massive fan of AAI2, I think the adjustment will be worth it if it means that more people get to experience my favorite ace attorney game for themselves.
With this announcement, all canonical ace attorney games have been ported to modern consoles and given an English translation. As I mentioned at the beginning of the post, this announcement is thirteen years in the making for AAI2! This is an unprecedented time for the popularity and accessibility of Ace Attorney.
(All we need now is the Layton crossover...)
Thank you all for joining me in this excitement and I look forward to collecting and sharing more updates as they arrive!

Unveiling the Saved at the Citadel: Fives Lives And Joins the Batch AU
I have been working on this in my brain for a WHILE and I'm so happy to finally share it! The plan is to begin posting a few fics in this AU during May (following the Months of the Bad Batch, Fives May, as that would be 5555-05).
There are many, many, many details I can't wait to explore in some more in-depth writing but here is the bullet-pointed gist of the AU ⬇️⬇️
Intro to the Saved at the Citadel AU
Instead of the heartbreaking mess that was the ending of the Citadel arc, we see the welcome arrival of Rex and Company's unexpected rescuers -- the Bad Batch! Clone Force 99 was on a separate mission in nearby space and received a broken-up distress call from the party on Lola Sayu. The batchers realize that it's Big Brother Cody and some dude named Rex, Big Bro's other favorite brother, and show up with a shock-and-awe response that would make the trigger-happy Alpha-17 beam with pride.
Echo is not presumed dead at the Citadel or taken to Skakko and Fives does not have his chip arc or die.
The Domino ARC Twins and Rex are sent immediately on a different mission with the Batchers, destination unknown, after a specific target. During the assignment, Rex comes to respect the Batchers just as he did in their TCW arc, and the Dominos find themselves becoming attached to these four defects who are simultaneously rough around the edges and extremely welcoming.
After everything is said and done, Echo and Fives decide to transfer to the Bad Batch. Rex lets them go, just as he did with Echo in Unfinished Business, and continues to check in regularly.
The newly expanded Bad Batch goes on a variety of exciting adventures as a six-man squad, becoming an even more deadly machine as the twins integrate into their new family. On a return trip to Kamino, Tech comes across some strange rumors of a clone who lost it on the battlefield and was transferred back to their home planet for evaluation. Fives volunteers to snoop around with the genius once they get planet side, and that's how the Batch finds out about the inhibitor chips.
While Tech and Fives are rescuing Tup and gathering evidence to take before the Jedi and the Senate regarding the chips (because while the Batch may be wary, the twins know a few Jedi and politicians who will not be happy about this info) Hunter and the others are trying to cover for them...and stumble across a blonde-haired little lab assistant who calls them by their names.
With Tup and Omega in tow, the Batch heads to Coruscant to inform the Jedi and confront the Senate. Secrets are revealed, from the origins of the Clone Wars to Anidala to the existence of a Second Sith, and new allies must be found, made, or blackmailed to uncover the entire, widespread plot to overthrow the Republic.
The Batch calls up all their favors and old contacts, including Fox, Quinlan, and even a certain lady pirate that Tech and Echo accidentally met on a recent undercover mission (and a rather annoying Weequay they wish they didn't know at all) to help pull off the counter-overthrow.
The Jedi gladly go along with the scheme and confront the Senate. In the madness, Hunter ends up just a little too close to the Chancellor and...
Hunter: "Cody...is the Chancellor a Jedi?" Cody: "No." Hunter: "Ok then he's the Sith." Cody: "What?" Hunter: "Unless the Jedi just give out those laser swords like party favors." Obi-Wan: "How exactly do you know that he has one?" Hunter: "Felt it. All your sabers give off a weird EM pulse. They're different flavors but they all make me want to sneeze."
Now all the Jedi are royally pissed -- 1. that they didn't see this before and 2. that all the suffering brought by the war has happened due to Palpatine's greed. It doesn't take very long for every available Jedi in the system to converge at the Temple to help take down the Chancellor.
But they end up just being the decoy squad. As Mace Windu and Yoda cause a distraction by confronting Palps directly, sabers drawn, Crosshair uses a slugthrower to snipe the Chancellor through a window. He wishes he could undo this as he is forevermore dubbed by Fives "The Mighty SithSlayer."
The Jedi hide the Batch in the Temple for a few days until they can set the record straight to the public, giving the six saviors of the Galaxy plenty of time to rest after their crazy saving-the-universe ordeal and play with the younglings who are ecstatic to meet real-life heroes. This also gives Tech and Echo time to go over the records from Kamino and find the location of a certain Mount Tantiss, where a certain Hemlock was centralizing medical equipment and personnel for Project Necromancer and other unsavory programs.
Phee decides that after all the ruckus on Coruscant, Tech needs an extended vacation on this really nice, beachy planet she knows about. She graciously allows the other five to tag along with their newly discovered baby (older?) sister.
Tantiss is taken over by the GAR, with CF99 spearheading the operation as the special forces group. Emerie is brought over to the good guys, and she, Tech, and a myriad of scientists from across the stars use the on-world base to house their genetic research operation. Within months, after dedicated research and help from Nala Se, who was given a generous plea deal in return for her assistance, every clone trooper is given the gene therapy required to halt their accelerated aging.
Everyone lives happily ever after on Pabu and elsewhere, including Mayday. Fives becomes the island storyteller and immortalizes the Batch escapades through that.
I have so many fics I want to write for this AU it would boggle your mind. Seriously...it is not even funny.

MY LE AWEZOME ANGEL DEMON HETALIA AU!!!!!!!!!!!! now lots of this art is old as shit because ive had this in the making for forever.... but its better to unveil it now rather than never amiright? i have a lot more art for this au already drawn and I'll post it later but heres the basic rundown intro to dis world (me trying my best to condense it as much as I can) ^_^
CHARACTERS:
Italy: He's an exorcist with his older brother Romano. They work at a dingy church managed by Hungary and Austria and they both suck at exorcising demons (that's why their church looks like a piece of shit). Italy is a fucking pussy and almost dies all the time, especially because Romano keeps giving him all the ultra scary hardcore demons since he's like "ermm fratello you take this one. i did like 60 easy demons last week go do this one that will definitely kill me". He has Germany wrapped around his finger since one day when he was tasked with exorcising a super scary demon he didn't have enough to sacrifice to successfully summon an angel to come to his aid, so in a fit of panic he instead tried summoning a demon. Germany is the one who appeared and helped out Italy and also generally feels worried for Italy because he's like "how the fuck have you even survived this long?". And now Italy just always summons Germany for help and general bullshit because he found out Germany will literally do anything and goes out of his way to help out Italy and is way cheaper to summon than an angel. He keeps Germany a secret from Austria and Hungary though since they'd FREAK if they knew he had a demon helping him out with literally everything. Italy does exorcisms because he has a goal of ascending his soul to become an angel to reunite with grandpa rome, since as a child him and romano were raised by grandpa rome as their guardian angel. Germany is now helping him out with that goal and also providing him company and cookies. Itager is real but that will be explained more later. His holy item is rosary beads with a cross attached. When an angel weilds it then the beads become a safety wrist strap and the cross becomes a white flag. But in times of need and great synergy it can also become a scythe.
Romano: Italy's older brother who works as an exorcist alongside him. His exorcisms suck for the opposite reason Italy's does. Instead of being too lenient he beats the shit out of demons for pleasure. There's etiquette to exorcisms and Romano does not follow that shit at all. His ass is still crucifying and throwing lighter fluid on demons even after they've completely given up and are waving white flags. Because of this, this actually violates the rules of battles between demons and angels (since you're supposed to stop once the other party admits defeat) and thus in the end gives a penalty which gives them a free pass to fulfill the human's wish with no intervention despite how Romano beat them. He's such a fail exorcist because he fails every exorcism since he gets too into beating demons senseless and then when he encounters an actual scary high level demon he shits his pants and forces Italy to fight them. His ultimate goal is to ascend his soul with his brother in order to reunite with grandpa rome as well. But actually secretly the reason he wants to ascend isn't to reunite to grandpa rome, but rather to reunite with Spain. Since grandpa rome mainly focused on Italy while Spain ended up actually being a guiding figure in Romano's life despite him not officially doing the Guardian Angel program with him. Prumano is also real but that's to be explained later. His holy item isn't holy at all it's just a normal bag of salt. Sometimes he mixes glitter with the salt.
Germany: He's a demon that has just recently come of age. He's a really low ranking demon because of this and only lives within the first circle of hell. He has to provide for not just himself but also his brother Prussia who is a fail demon who sucks at all the jobs he gets and basically was bumming around on couches and shit until Germany came of age and was sent to hell. Prussia acted as a mentor and older brother figure when they were both growing up and Germany thought for sure that Prussia became an angel so he was heartbroken when he was chosen as a demon. But then he found Prussia immediately in hell and is taking responsibility of having his back because they have a strong sibling bond together. His sense of responsibility and competative nature of the job market is why he was the only demon willing to fulfill a summonings request for a priest, since he really needed the money to keep him and Prussia afloat. Him and Italy form a genuine close bond though, and Italy makes a "deal with the devil" later on.
Prussia: He's an absolute fail demon who can't get any of his jobs done so he relies on Germany to make all their money to survive in hell. He usually tags along with Germany when he goes to the human world because he's bored and LOVES the human shit (especially Arbys). This is against the rules, since angels and demons can only go to the human world if they're summoned. But also Prussia is a low-ranking demon who lives in the worst circle of hell, so it's like someone going missing in New York City; people aren't really going to notice. This backfires on him though since whenever he tags along to the human world with Germany he always ends up running into Romano. At first his and Romano's relationship is a pretty painful one since Romano can beat the shit out of Prussia as he likes since Prussia is not in the human world for work, so he can't give Romano any penalties for beating the shit out of him. So really it's just Romano terrorizing Prussia every time he goes to the human world for Arbys. But eventually they fall into a routine together and the initial thrill of beating up a demon as much as he likes wears off on Romano since Prussia keeps giving the same reactions. They end up becoming friends, although Romano would never admit this because he keeps adamantly proclaiming he hates demons and hopes they all die.
Russia: Russia is an exorcist who works at a church run by China. He works alongside America and Canada as fellow exorcists. Him and America have a never ending rivalry because America keeps accusing him of being a satanist. This is true though since Russia actually bats for both teams. He's a priest when it's beneficial for him to be a priest and a satanist when it's beneficial to be a satanist. He usually is a priest though since they're on the winning team. He also doesn't have to sacrifice anything to summon his angels, since he has the baltics as angels that he can summon at will for no charge (because they're terrified of him). Honestly he isn't all that much better than Italy and Romano at his job either, since he constantly scares off clients and has questionable practices. He does this line of work because he just enjoys this line of work and loves all the friends he can make in it. His holy item is a Bible which has a book mark in it. That bookmark marks the spot that separated the holy verses and the satanic verses in his "bible". When he recites these verses they give magical buffs to the demon/angel he is reciting them for. He also has a holy magic metal pipe of pain which is just a metal pipe that he baptized (nobody knows if it actually has holy power in it, since everyone gets knocked out from it instantly).
America: He works alongside Russia in exorcisms and usually they both suck at their job because they constantly tag along with each other to try to one up another. This makes them end up sucking at what they do. He's a priest because he likes feeling like a hero and feels triumph in fighting for "justice". He had England as his guardian angel as a child, but rebelled against him in his teens by denouncing God when he had his emo phase. Now he obviously grew out of it and is a priest now, but his relationship with England is strained because of the emo phase. He's a priest, but always argues against England that he's doing it for himself, not because of England's mentoring since he doesn't even want to ascend his soul. Although ascending would totally be super neat and the most befitting reward for a hero... **looks around**. His holy item is his bottle of holy water. He can splash the water in the air and the water droplets will turn into biblically accurate angel eyes that can shoot rays of light at enemies (super awesome lazer eyes).
England: He's a pretty high ranking angel that acted as America's guardian angel for a while. Not much to say here since I've already explained most of what he has done in America's description. In this AU England sees America as his stupid annoying favorite child son.
France: Not much to say here either. He was Canada's guardian angel as a child and that's about it for priest AU specific lore. He constantly is bickering and fighting with England. Him and England torment Germany because they think that he's a evil demon that infected Italy's mind and a sly bastard for doing work for a PRIEST when an angel is supposed to be helping Italy out. Neither of them think Italy is to blame for Germany and Italy's involvement with each other because Germany is ugly and ugly people are always wrong.
Spain: He basically acted as Romano's guardian angel despite the fact he really wasn't his at all. He mistakenly thought he was assigned him and took up the role, but ended up getting attached and sticking around to raise Romano anyways. He's pretty carefree and just like Spain in the show of course. He has a bad habit of forgetting to mention extremely crucial information though.
China: He runs the church that America, Russia, and Canada work at. He doesn't believe in God at all and is a Buddhist. But he runs the church because to him it's like his corner store business (like a 7/11 but with less mess). He takes care of the finances and such of the church and really does treat the church as if it's just his corner store he owns. This causes China to do a lot of special business events that force Austria and Hungary's church to compete against them since they need money too and if China's going to have a buy one get one free sale then they'll do it too. A running gag that is revealed as the series goes on is that China is correct about everything pertaining to how angels, demons, and humans work.
Japan: He's China's nephew and works as his apprentice at the church. He also does not believe in God nor Buddha, but says he's Buddhist to appease his uncle. He's a college student who's studying to take the DAT at the moment, so he does this as a part time job for money and something on his resume. He often hangs out with Italy since China gives him the job to scope out their "competition" (because he has to make sure the other church isn't doing as well as his) and Japan just ends up hanging out with Italy and Germany a lot. He honestly wishes he was more involved in the adventures they have, but he's too Japanese and not deadass enough to just ask to be invited more often.
Canada: He's America's brother everyone forgets exists and literally the only reason why China's church is so swag and not poor as shit like Austria and Hungary's. Because he's the only priest that actually does proper exorcisms. Everyone forgets he exists, but he's always working in the background and making like 70% of the profits that the church makes lol. His holy items are changed out between crosses, bibles, etc. Because he actually uses his items in a practical sense instead of sticking to one item and acting as if that's his thing now.
BASIC WORLD INFORMATION:
- angels and demons are species that gain power from human belief. they are raised together and then when they come of age they are either chosen to become an angel or demon
- because of this angels and demons both have the goal of fulfilling human wishes to gain more belief
- angels are obviously beating the shit out of demons in their never ending competition for human belief magical power. and thus they always get first pick for who becomes an angel while the demons get the leftovers
- angels also generally have much more magical power than demons, so many of them can do cool magical tricks while most demons have to do things manually. That's why demons are often more buff and physically strong since they have to work out to fight.
- angels are chosen not by the goodness of ones heart, but rather how good they are at rizzing and being well liked in order for humans to like them
- because of this, human's understanding of each side's morality is completely wrong since both act as buisnesses (and arguably angels are more corrupt since they play dirty)
- humans do not become angels or demons when they die. their souls reincarnate over and over again.
- different practices such as "selling your soul to the devil" and "guardian angels" and explanations for why demons are regarded as evil will be explained in later posts.
- the social heirarchy and way jobs work within hell and heaven will also be described in later posts
- Angels and demons also are responsible for santa's activies and bond together during the holiday season to reap the benefits of power from children's belief in "santa" (a persona that was created by satan and god together, so they split the power that comes from the belief in it)
- Priests and satanists in this world act as soldiers to stop the opposing angels/demons from fulfilling human wishes.
- they use their holy/satanic items to battle against angels/demons in the area, and if needed use sacrifices to call upon angels/demons to provide aid in battling against whoever they are fighting. The better the sacrifice, the higher quality the angel/demon that appears will be due to the higher pay.
- Their holy/satanic items act as buffs/weapons for their angel/demon that they summoned if they choose to summon one.
- holy items only go with angels and satanic items only go with demons. holy items will always hurt demons and satanic items will always hurt angels.

My Grimoire Vol 7 (Penumbra) arrived and it's a banger. I'll post some illustrations from it and some new lore that hasn't been seen before.
The grimoire contains several full lore books: Unveiling, Regarding Stasis and Inspiral + multiple individual grimoires and lore tabs. It also contains some parts of several collector's editions (BL, WQ and TFS). I'll transcribe new lore under read more, but first! Intro and pictures:
Intro from Eris!
Friend. I write as a woman changed. My recent contact with the Darkness was as formative as my long-ago rebirth in the Light. So after all this, here, at the end, I will say: Do not ignore the changes we have endured, and do not disregard the difference between the Light and Darkness. It is not vanity for me to acknowledge that I have unique insight to impart. I have witnessed Darkness in all its forms, in all its terrible pain and contortions, and all the violence it inflicts. But despite this and above all, I see in it the aches and yearnings for a more complete world. There is collapse and indistinction, but also, there is preservation. Not stultifying, but vital. This is what I have learned. We have harnessed the Darkness because it beats harnessing. It has yielded the fruits of our future, nurtured against great opposition. Every boundary invites transgression. We are not beyond our own affronts, which have inevitably changed us. That is not weakness, or folly, or failure. I maintain that balance is not equity. I do not accept the Darkness on the same terms as the Light. Darkness is a tool to be used and a path to walk, but it is not our essence. We must hold fast to that understanding. To do otherwise invokes delusion. The Darkness and the Light are not opponents, but neither are they allies. There is a natural conflict between them, but we have the capacity to hold contradictions within ourselves, and so they mingle with great effort on our part. That is the beauty of our complexity, the purview of the Light. Our safe contact with the Darkness is only possible because of the Light. Even so, the Light exists not as our protector, but as our guide. That is all I wish to impart. To every fire, its fuel, Eris Morn.

This is the illustration for Clovis' dream from the Traveler in which the Traveler appears as a wolf, from BL CE. The dream is in the book. More under (seriously long post below):

These are two Darkness grimoires with this additional drawing.
It Stared Back with the illustration of Calus. There's also this page of the Confessions lore book.
This grimoire with the illustration.
The entire Unveiling, the illustration is paired to "The Flower Game" page.
Drifter illustration paired with his entry in the TFS lore book, Chirality.
They put THE lore of all time, Pujari and the Black Garden, and paired it with this illustration.
The entire Regarding Stasis lore book and illustration with this page :)
A lot of stuff from the WQ CE, this illustration of Ikora going ham on Shaxx and Zavala and Ikora playing their game included.
The entire Inspiral lore book is here as well, with these two illustrations.
Mataiodoxia lore tab with this illustration. Subjugator!
And now! New lore. Some of these may be upcoming lore pages? Or they're only for this book, unsure yet. But either way, they're not in the game as of now.
Club Morgue Ahsa, lay low your flukes. Doff your cap and coat. You're safe here. You know you'll keep your promise to find the place where this all began. But for now, rest. No, I'm not death, though it is my tool. "Nothing" doesn't interest me, you understand? A flawed existence is preferential to none at all. Things are the way they have to be, instead of the way they'd like to be. Ah, Ahsa. You saw it all - the extinction, the extermination, the gamma-ray bursts burning up your garden worlds, the singularities eating up infant suns. It hurt you so! And you turned to me, asking why it had to be. I didn't answer. I never do. I'm a question. It's up to you to find the answer. Build the castle. So far they all fall over, but maybe one day one won't. How? I don't know. Figure it out, do the work, ask the question. What will remain in the end, when the stars go out, and creation freezes in the half-light of evaporating black holes? These killers you're after. They were very much like you, Ahsa. They wanted to know why; why there had to be life, why there had to be death. But then, not liking the answer they made for themselves- Well. You'll see. Go on, Ahsa. Someone's coming to see you, and I'm sure she's got a real humdinger of a proposal for you to hear. Her sister, though... it'll really wind her up if you die by any other hand but hers. She means to take you for her worm. And she pretty much runs this town, truth be told. Watch yourself out there. It's a war zone.
I will assume this is future lore tab for Heresy. Deals with the Hive and someone talking to Ahsa. Very strange speaking tone, reminiscent of Unveiling to me. Obvious mention of Savathun ("humdinger of a proposal") and Xivu who apparently wants to take Ahsa as her worm. Very strange overall, probably lacking in context from the next episode, but a nice little treat for what might be coming in Heresy. Would love to see more on Ahsa!
Charybdis It seemed so simple to me when I first heard it: the strongest survive. It's obvious. If it can be destroyed, it must be destroyed. And in that destruction, the victor becomes even stronger. Kind of like Guardians, honestly. All of us. It makes sense of how we grow. Take the Crucible. We sharped our skills against each other in the arena. The less skilled become fodder - for a match point, for practice, for testing new ways of burning or electrocuting or... spaghettifying. Those who reach the top climb stairs made of bodies. Sword logic seems simple, clean, beautiful. Scooped out of Hive goop and guts, it shines like a searchlight, a bright beam cutting across the sky in perfect straight lines. But there's something more to it. Some extra... magic? The Hive do magic, sure. Runes and math and a sharp edge. What are the Hive doing that we can't do? Or is it more about the Darkness than the Hive? Or is it both? I need to know. To be part of it. I decided the best place to start figuring it out was by studying Hive. The way they live, the way they die. And no one looks at me twice for going after Hive - any good Guardian fights Hive, right? I beat through Thralls and Acolytes with my burning mauls. It got routine. And one day, as typical as any other, I realized how easy it was, how these Acolytes were barely worth the air they breathed if they were just going to break like simple bone - but then, something changed. I felt it. My mind reshaped into sword-thinking. I began to practice it like I lived it, and then I did live it. It was part of me, and I of it. You'll feel it, too, if you follow that path. You'll know when the sword goes from being your weapon to part of your arm. I became one with the sword, and the Light in my hands burned brighter and brighter. Since then, I've just been getting stronger. I triumph, and the Light sings, and from my heart to my fingertips, I am alight with glory. Again, and again, I prove my existence to be the truest thing: that I am more real than any other who strives to strike at me. My sword, my self, is forged in Light, and it is hungry. What else can I do with this sharpness that I have cultivated so carefully? What else could WE do? How strong could we become? We Guardians are worthy. I know I can yet become sharper. // ACCESS: RESTRICTED DECRYPTION KEY: 32C49KLD032XAR-612 HIDDEN AGEND: [REDACTED] RE: VIP #1290 Departure from the City Confirmed VIP #1290 has left the Last City without further incident. Hidden agents have traced her trail and have destroyed data and materials left behind to avoid potential misuse or corruption. However, VIP #1290 eventually discovered the Hidden tracker and burned it out - so she's in the wind. Ghost status currently unknown, but probably alive. At least for now. At this time, recommend scouts do not approach. She's dangerous enough without us feeding her. At least she's out there, not in here.
Another one that seems like something coming up in Heresy. Some Guardian who we only know is a Titan has started practicing the Sword Logic and she's dangerous and currently missing. VIP number is brand new, it doesn't match any of the existing ones so we don't know who this is. Either not entirely important, as it's just one small look into what's going on or it's something that will be further elaborated in Heresy. That is, if my assumption that these are going to be lore tabs in the game is correct. Certainly feels like it.

Next is a new lore tab from Osiris! On the left is an old lore tab, on the right is new.
On Concerns, Previously Expressed Ikora, You know as well as I that the Vex yet require attention. I have said before - many, many times - that their threat is greater than any other. And while the recent depredations of the WItness have proven this set of priorities temporarily mis-ordered, I fear that the threat of the Vex may not only spread in the aftermath, but also go underestimated. It is tempting to let our guard down and breathe easy. We cannot. Before my exile, I made plain my opinions on Light and Darkness, on the foolishness of considering them "good" and "evil." This remains true, doubly so now. Our enemy was never the Darkness itself, but that which worked within it. And that childish division of good against evil has distracted from the unceasing enemy: the Vex. They care not which force they grasp. They care not about morality. They care - if one can call it that - only for convergence. They advance, and they will not stop unless we stop them. Every time they have closed their gap to paracausality, even in the smallest way, it has been nigh disastrous. I am sure I need not remind you of Quria, of the eternal night that threatened to fall over the Last City. Of the Black Heart, that Vex attempt to recreate the Veil which could itself have been catastrophic. Of the Black Garden, and the remnant of the Witness that Guardians found there, redolent of Darkness. We may not yet have seen what happens when the Vex grasp the Light, but I assure you, if it has not yet begun, it soon shall. Time is inevitably limited, until the Vex in their infinite adaptability learn how Light and Darkness both may be turned to their advantage. It is my recommendation as advisor to the Vanguard that the Vex be logged as the most urgen enemy of sentient life, both of the Last City and the growing alliances formed these past years. Please, Ikora. I would not raise this yet again if I did not believe it to be of utmost importance. Consider it well. -Osiris.
NO CLUE where to place this one. It's definitely not in the game, so either also upcoming lore or just in the book. What makes me suspicious about it being upcoming lore is that the name is too big to be an item, so maybe a lore book page? But Heresy is largely going to be about the Hive so I'm intrigued about a letter from Osiris to Ikora urging her to act on the Vex being relevant. Other than that, it's Osiris back to cooking about the Vex. He is out here literally "as per my last email"-ing Ikora and continuing the same argument he's had for centuries. I am also wondering where is this lore tab in relation to the stuff from Echoes. It's likely post-Witness' defeat, but no idea if it's also after Echoes. Osiris is definitely worried about them getting paracausality and reaching for the Light. Future setup? Very cool, I ate it.

Both of these are new.
On the Witness My Hidden friend, The neonate worm, Ahsa. She spoke to the Guardian, and this is what she imparted: Look to the place where the Witness formed. An exhausted world, made so long ago that even silicon was a luxury. That is where the hunt began. The Traveler graced that world. But it wasn't enough. Those who lived there saw a creation born to die. They wanted it to mean something. It had to mean something. And if it didn't, they would make it mean something. For, in their view, to make something was to understand it. I understand this impulse too well. But they chose a truly rotten betrayal. To open up and take, and remake, their god. And they would use the Darkness to do it. Finding no meaning at all in the act of creation, they decided, that the only place left for reason, intent, and consciousness to reside was in the act of elimination. If their god the Traveler made things for no reason, then a merciful, purposeful winnower must have good reason to remove them. In mimicry of this belief, they winnowed themselves down to a single awareness - all their thought and pain compressed into a bombshell of consciousness and intent. Magnificently aware of all the universe's failings. A conscious witness to the testament of the Light's sins. A final, ruinous creation born of their civilization. A knife. And it set out after the Traveler. Not to destroy it, but to defeat it. To impose a will upon an absence it saw as unacceptable. Negligent. To dictate, by force, how things ought to be. The motive is to impose meaning upon Dark and Light beyond mere primordial dynamics. The killer is an anthology of this ancient civilization's rage at their god's silence. I find that I pity these vanished people. But if all the cosmos turned inward, as I turned inward for a while, as these people turned inward forever, then we would all be alone. Yes, it is awful to face loss. But we must keep cooperating in the face of all extinction. Or there can never be anything better. This is all I know.
Also most likely coming up in Heresy. Wild stuff in here. Ahsa is mentioned again; I'm not sure if this is referring to what Ahsa showed us back in Deep or if she'll be showing us something more. Obviously it would be spoilers to tell us everything but these little bits and pieces are unhinging my mind. No idea who is talking here and to whom; my assumption is that Mara is writing to Eris, mostly because Mara says "My Hidden friend" to Eris in the Taken King opening cutscene. What to say about this other than I am insane. More about the Witness and its civilisation please.
Cacophony, Euphony We listen. We witness. We wait. Through the Darkness, we hear a single voice. With a thought, we are there, to touch the mind that reaches into this domain. Cradled by Darkness, it asks a question. We answer this one, like we have others. We are generous with answers. Not all beings can understand the answers we give, but we try. Again, and again. None ought to cry out, only to suffer no answer. There are always more voices in the Darkness, reaching out. We turn. Far distant, there is a people lacing ribbons of Darkness through their thoughts to bring them closer together, that no one might be divided from the purpose they have dreamed for themselves. But they have no come to Darkness through the Gardener's neglect - it is simply their natural course. In time, we shall enfold them into our shape, but they need not urgent salvation. Our presence drifts. And still, we listen in the Darkness. There is violence that corrodes constructs like peace. There is the Hive. Some resist the rampaging Hive, crying out into the Darkness. It is to us they reach, in the end. We hear their pleas and grant them succor, salvation, enshrining them in our monument. Toward our inevitable final shape. There is time enough to reach out to the farthest corners of Darkness, to inhabit it so deeply and thoroughly; we will hear whomever calls out in it. We will answer. We will always answer. Even that which passes temporarily below our notice will be found again; and we will hear those questions and give purpose. Give salvation. Always, we listen for signs of the Gardener. Our Disciples pursue it still, to pluck it from the chords of infinity. We listen. We wait.
This is a banger. Also probably coming in Heresy (or after?). Very curious about this one. There's indication that this is from the Witness while it still lived; the speaking as "we," the name mentioning "euphony" (Salvation's Edge raid exotic also with curious lore in regards to the Witness), saying "our Disciples." It also makes sense; the Witness felt betrayed and abandoned by the Traveler who never spoke back and never answered questions or given directions, so the Witness sought to do the opposite. It's why it was so easy to fall under its influence; the Witness always reaches back. And it's all framed as the Witness believing it was helping. I also love how it mentions other species that were using Darkness naturally; they aren't specified, but we know they existed. Either way, I'm obsessed.
Finally! These two are also both new and it's how the whole book ends. This is a different "Winnowing" from the one in Inspiral.
Winnowing I have come to delight so in this: in possibility, and its end. Oh, I kicked and fought and screamed about it at first! I was fond of what we had! But the table was upturned, and a knife cannot be un-invented, and so here we are. The rules changed - a little. The pattern altered - but a micron. I got used to it, as they say. People can get used to anything, and the same holds true for concepts that have existed before and after time itself, though it may take an eon or twenty. So here I am, among the stars. They burn so brightly, but given a billion or ten billion years, they chill: their mass reduces to nothing but throbbing embers, at last gasping into stillness and ash. Even the loudest of celestial roars cannot outpace infinity. I am assured. I have come around. There is charm in diversity, in the uncountable ways a speck of cosmic dust may climb to cognizance and philosophy, only to find the same old truth of decay. Again and again, I am proven right: it all ends the same. It isn't about violence, mind you. It's about inevitability. Simplicity. The unnecessary removed, the requisite remaining. Whether the knife is made of metal or the folded layers of time, it matters no. The pattern triumphs. The stars burn out. And I am right. So every being made in that garden of possibilities, every creation that looks at infinity and comes to my same conclusion - why, I cannot help but love them. The rules were altered, and still they have said: here is the truth. Possibilities do not change what is. The pattern is the pattern, and its reliable certainty is its beauty. Even a cheater of eternity cannot yet win its wager. The game is longer now, but I will be its victor. In this eon, or a thousand hence.
Losing it seriously, I'm losing it. This is a clear throwback to Unveiling and Inspiral and also Nacre! It is the same speaker or emulating the same speaker at least, so we'll call it "Winnower." I really like how it calls itself a concept. There's not really much to say other than delving into a 10k word essay on the philosophy and concepts and options and possibilities (hah) so yeah. Very obviously referring to the Flower Game and the change in rules with paracausality and how this entity still believes itself to be correct and how it will still win in the end. Since it literally refers to itself as a concept, I will continue treating this whole thing as allegorical rather than talking about it as some real character, at least until further notice. There's a lot of metaphorical language going on here and I will continue looking at it as such rather than making clickbait statements like "this is the new antagonist and we'll fight it in a raid in 10 years." Maybe! Who knows. For now, all we have is yapping like this and this thing calling itself a concept and talking in allegories. Either way, absolutely stunning piece of lore. There's a reason my favourite thing ever is Unveiling and it's this mystical, religious incomprehensible information from a thing that maybe exists beyond time and space, who everyone can interpret in a different way. 10/10
Gardening You delight in possibility. The same action, over and over, only produces the same results if all circumstances are the same. But there are so many variables - a million different outcomes may spring forth from one action. One stray atom changes a lifetime, and one breath of wind, an eon of history. Choice is infinite; and possibility, endless. To some, it is only statistics. But you have ever been captivated by that miracle. You know stagnancy. You have seen it many times: the same stable oblong it all comes down to when growth has ended. The soft-pulsing oscillation over one spot, never truly carrying on further until stirred by some outside force. A depletion of possibility, the flowers never finding further growth, even if they never die. A single breath might be enough to change it. You understand, of course, that a breath is a breath, and a flower is a flower. That, having bloomed, the petals will one day fall. Still you guard the next flower, and the next, for there is meaning in the moment of bloom. So you breathe. So potential spirals, like seeds floating on the wind. One breath. Barely a whisper. Nothing more than that. And for such a thing, the gift of infinity. Always, always, you look on with hope.
Obviously as opposed to Winnowing, there is Gardening. I believe this is the Traveler's POV, primarily because it's told in second person, which is typical for the Traveler. Also because of everything is says and how it ends. Like an opposite of the previous entry. What a banger to end the whole book with, both of these side by side. Again, probably new lore coming in the future, or maybe just for this book? These could honestly be grimoire-exclusive, but who knows. Much to think about, much to look forward to.
It's a really good grimoire. They all are honestly, if you can grab these physical books, I highly recommend them. This is one is really nice because it also has several entries that are otherwise locked to collector's editions and it comes with all of this new stuff as well. The illustrations are, as always, peak.
Hope y'all enjoy this, especially the new stuff.

(This map is referenced and described in the story, in the 8th paragraph once you enter the actual story beyond my intro. "BLM" means Bureau of Land Management, a division of the Department of the Interior. "USFS" means the United States Forest Service, a division of the Department of Agriculture.)
I posted a link to another story about this published a different media source. Because the issue is so important to me, I'm posting the Rolling Stone story about the republican hopes or plans to decimate a whole bunch of our public lands. Here's the story, in full:
Every Summer, my wife and I pack up our three kids and the family dog and drive an hour-and-a-half from our home in Portland, Oregon, to the forested shores of Timothy Lake for a camping trip. The lake is technically a reservoir — with a small dam at the western edge. But it is a gem, bordered by U.S. Forest Service land on three sides.
The federal land surrounding this awe-inspiring place would be put on the auction block for developers under the Senate’s version of President Donald Trump’s tax-cut-and-spending legislation known as the “Big Beautiful Bill.” A provision unveiled this week would open nearly 250 million acres of public lands in the West, for sale to the highest bidder. The legislation would require that at least 3 million acres — an area about half the size of Vermont — be privatized in the next five years.
The ugly provision was introduced by the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, chaired by Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah), who recently made himself notorious for shitposting about a political assasination in Minnesota. Lee’s committee touts this “mandatory disposal” of federal lands as a way to “fulfill President Trump’s agenda” by “unlocking federal land” to “increase the supply of housing,” while generating at least $5 billion. Speaking to fellow conspiratorial loon Glenn Beck, Lee defended the initiative as a “common-sense solution to a national problem.” Lee’s provision has the support of The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board which alleges that “Uncle Sam” is “typically a poor steward of the land.”
This Senate provision creates a direct conflict with the House version of the Big Beautiful Bill. Rep. Ryan Zinke (R-Mont.) successfully fought to strip a similar provision from the House bill. The former Interior Secretary described privatization of public lands as his “red line,” noting: “Once the land is sold, we will never get it back. God isn’t creating more land.”
The Senate provision applies to 11 western states, but notably exempts Montana. If this was meant to appease Zinke, he is not impressed. The congressman posted on X on June 18: “I have said from day one I would not support a bill that sells public lands. I am still a no on the Senate reconciliation bill that sells public lands.” Environmental groups are sounding the alarm, with 113 organizations — including the Sierra Club and Scenic Utah — writing an open letter to Senate leadership warning that the lack of meaningful restrictions in the provision would open sold-off public lands for development as “golf courses, luxury resorts, strip malls, [or] private vacation homes.”
The Wilderness Society decries the Senate provision, insisting it would spark “the largest single sale of national public lands in modern history” and sacrifice “ordinary Americans’ access to outdoor recreation for a short-term payoff.” It has produced a map of federal lands that would be available to private developers under this land grab. The group writes that the provision “masquerades as a way to provide more housing, but it lacks safeguards to ensure land is used for that purpose.” It nominally requires consultation with the states and calls for an exclusion of lands with “valid existing rights” — a provision that appears to apply to extractive industries like mining and drilling. (According to the map, my family’s go-to campground at Timothy Lake could be sold off for lakefront villas.)
Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) has called the proposal “insane” and a “non-starter,” adding: “Hell no.” Democrats are calling on citizens to fight for their treasured public spaces. Sen. Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) is the ranking Democrat on the Senate committee that Lee chairs. “Our public lands hold our shared identity: They are where we gather, fish, hunt, and hike,” he writes. “We can’t let Republicans take them from us.”
He adds a battle cry to voters: “Now is the time to raise your voices and join our fight to keep public lands in public hands — before we lose these lands forever.”
Selling off common lands is wildly unpopular. In a recent poll, 71 percent of American adults oppose selling public lands to the highest bidder. Only 16 percent of Trump voters support such a move.
According to an inventory of public lands compiled by the Wilderness Society, the states most at risk are Alaska, where nearly 80 million acres would be up for grabs, followed by Nevada with 34 million acres, and Idaho and Oregon with 21 million acres apiece. In Lee’s home state of Utah, nearly 19 million acres would be on the block for land speculators.

Carpe Noctem - Intro Post
DEMO - tba

You are a nobody. A supposedly ordinary human in a world full of powerful beings. Your life is all in all pretty average if not bordering on mind-numbing, like watching paint dry... That is until you were kidnapped and tossed into one especially small carriage to be delivered somewhere only the ancients knew of.
From now on nothing will ever be the same and you need to adapt to the ever-changing outside world as fast as possible. All the while trying to decipher your past and with that your part in an every-growing political conflict that borders to develop into an all out war the world has yet to see.
General content warnings: Bigotry & prejudice, horror elements, interspecies awkwardness, explicit language, depictions of violence, injuries, blood and death, explicit sexual content (if selected), flashbacks of a dark past to unveil, sprinkled with some homophobia here and there & general an unfair treatment of people with disabilities.

FEATURES
-> customizable MC (name, pronouns, appearance, identity)
-> semi-set personality due to evolve (MCs reclusive upbringing forces you to start as someone that's not entirely comfortable with other people and as such you'll be able to choose coping mechanisms your MC will use to compensate such a deficit)
-> 5 characters to romance (3 in book 1, not sure if the other two will follow, they'll probably be fully romanceable in book 2)
-> POVs of the ROs included
-> an open-minded author that is inclined to change some NPCs to fully fledged ROs depending on the general opinion/wishes of readers
-> an emotional roller coaster, all in all nothing for ppl that want a light-hearted theme
-> later on you'll be able to choose part of your race (vampyres, merpeople, demons, shapeshifters, phoenixes -and many more) & with that you can determine and further develop your special skillset. Your heritage will reward you with quite different flavour texts for every possible race there is, so yes. It will matter greatly what you chose. And each of the available races will have disadvantages that could prove quite...fatal in certain situations.

romanceable characters:
the master [Alois|Alice|Alix] (m|f|n) 24 winters
An aloof demeanor at the first glance, A has a cold, strangely shrouded gaze. They're reclusive as fuck, so there isn't much the general population knows about them. Oh. And A is your esteemed master -as if any of you actually want this dynamic... A seems to hate you and your position even more, especially the hidden context it supplies to everyone they meet...
A has almond-shaped silver eyes that always seem distant and unfocused. They have defined cheek bones with mostly soft facial features and quite long, silver hair that is often tied to a simple ponytail. A wears fine dark clothing without other prominent features to despict their wealth.
Content warnings for A's route: denial of feelings aka one of the slowest burns imaginable, domestic violence, implied/referenced rape/non-con, anxiety attacks, self-harm, angst & hurt/comfort
the protector [Leto] (m|f|n) too many to count
Leto is a raven-like creature most would describe as monstrous-looking. They are rarely seen and the few moments they are, death is certain. For many commoners it's enough to see one of Leto's black feathers to warrant a swift escape.
Their past eludes them and you have to wonder - why does some antics of them seem kinda...familiar?
Content warnings for Leto's route: survivor-guilt, body dysphoria, angst, captivity & enslavement, torture, ptsd
the assassin [Zane|Zoey] (m|f) 28 winters
Z is everything their mother wanted them to be. Her own personal weapon. One she is now inclined to use for her vendetta against you.
They have dark brown hair with intelligent hazel green eyes that seem to observe their surroundings constantly. Z was raised with stories about you, stories you know nothing about. How can it be that they seem to know more of you and your family than you yourself?
Should it worry you that they sound extremely resolute in stating their sole purpose is to rid the world of your existance?
Content warnings for Z's route: enemies to frenemies to lovers, eating disorder, alcohol-addiction, a tendency of morbid jealousy, past emotional abuse & manipulation
??? [redacted]
??? [also redacted]

Small note of the author:
Everything is slow burn in this - even the character customization, cause I want to add those moments seamlessly into the story.
I tend to take my time. You can expect me to heavily focus on the characters and their feelings, with a slight disregard to describing the environment and such. I work with minimalistic efforts to still give a sense of what I imagine everything to be but with the intention to leave fine details to the reader's own imagination.
I'll try to be considerate of everyone's preferences, especially in the more kinky parts of the story. There'll be versions for more assertive characters as well as more passive one's. Though I should add that the ROs all have their own set of bias that they prefer. However there will be growth throughout the story, including that.
The gravity of your choices will intensify throughout book 1, especially as you get to know the Circle and the Court and every other political hive of intrigue.
And yes. You can die. The ROs can die. Almost everyone will be able to at some point, I guess. Though I don't like the idea of writing a total distopia, don't expect me to change my mind regarding that one that easily.
More infos will be added over time. I'll post lore snippets of my sketchbook soon, like the worldmap, the general outlines of the Circle & the Court, the different races and such.
Asks are welcomed.

Special-Toons Introduction

Hey! Been a bit! Decided to type up a proper introduction to this AU. I do have an intro over on Tiktok, but I feel that it doesn't do the story justice. Without further ado, let's get into it!

In this AU, every toon has been created with a power tailored to them, known as "specialties." These specialties manifest themselves in a multitude of ways, being specific to and behaving around the nature of each toon.
While most openly display their specialties, some prefer to keep theirs hidden or use them when the time calls for it. Most toons starting out are unaware of what their specialty is, but by the starting point of this story most already have theirs figured out.

Before the events of Special-Toons, GardenView was a multipurpose establishment that experienced a sudden rise and fall in popularity, especially in the 1990s. Founded by Arthur Walton and Delilah Keen, the GardenView Entertainment Center hosted a variety of different attractions including a theater, diner, pool, and gift shop that was open to the public as well as a production studio, warehouse, and labratory further underground away from public eye.
In 1994, Arthur discovered the first instances of toon specialties and decided to report these findings to Delilah. With this newly-obtained information, Delilah would manage and oversee for the next 2 years a series of tests and experiments known as the Ichor Operation.
The fall of GardenView occurred in summer 1996, mere weeks after a disagreement between Delilah and Arthur. With an unstable entity breaching containment and wreaking havoc, an evacuation attempt (appropriately named "Doomsday") was made of all the staff and personnel though the success of said evacuation is still unclear.
The toons beyond this day were left to fend for themselves within the remains of the GardenView Center.

In this story, we follow the rookie toons Razzle & Dazzle as they attempt to navigate their way through the toon-refurbished GardenView Center in the year 2011. Being fairly new to the world they've been placed in, they must rely on each other as they interact with various toons to try and make sense of how their wacky world works. As their story progresses, they'll uncover dark mysteries and unveil deeper secrets whilst guarding their lives from perilous foes.
Though the story is mostly centered around the twin masks, the perspective will sometimes shift to show the viewpoint of other toons (ex. Glisten, Sprout, Astro, etc.).

I'll admit it: I'm a sucker for romance and some good fluff/comfort (I'm also a multishipper sue me-). Below is a list of ships that are/will be canonic to Special-Toons (subtle or overt) that I will reference time and time again:

The outcome of the interrogation unfolds just as you anticipated—the Jedi refuse to investigate the matter any further.
Your accusations are dismissed due to a lack of evidence, and the suspect, Qimir, has already vanished from the planet Olega without a trace, as if he knew the Jedi were beginning to focus on him. With no sign of Qimir and no concrete proof, the investigation is promptly closed, leaving your story as nothing more than a brief note in a digital case file, destined to be forgotten in time.
But you know there's more to it than meets the eye.
Master Vernestra, a high-ranking Jedi and Qimir’s former mentor, has no intention of letting anyone know that her prized apprentice, whom she had personally trained, has now turned to the dark side and become a full-fledged Sith Lord. If word of this ever got out, her reputation would surely be tarnished. So, she denies every accusation you put forth, even going so far as to claim that you fabricated the whole story for attention. With someone of her stature rejecting the claims, there’s nothing anyone else can do. The matter is consequently buried.
This, however, doesn’t affect you much. You’ve already planted seeds of doubt in Sol’s mind, and that is why you haven’t been expelled from the Jedi Temple on charges of deceit. Sol is the only one who believes you, and thanks to his efforts, you’re still allowed to stay. However, your status has changed—from a key witness to just an ordinary employee. You’ve been transferred to Coruscant, tasked with serving the Jedi at the Grand Temple and helping the Younglings adapt to their new lives.
In the first three months of your new life in the Jedi Temple, you’ve only seen Sol a handful of times. You understand that he’s still hesitant to speak with you after what happened during the interrogation. Nevertheless, Sol remains one of the few who shows you rare kindness among the Jedi, checking in on your well-being and keeping a distant yet watchful eye on you whenever his duties permit it, unlike the others who noticeably choose to ignore you.
You don’t resent them for it. Master Vernestra is highly respected among the younger Jedi, so it's natural for most of them to feel resentful when a stranger suddenly accuses their revered figure of being responsible for the rise of a new Sith Lord.
But not everyone is so cold. Besides Sol, there are others who have been kind to you. One of them is Jecki, Sol’s Padawan, who has been assigned to look after you.
Jecki is a lively and talkative teenager who holds deep respect for her master. She never questions Sol’s decisions, and when he asked her to assist you, she agreed without hesitation. Jecki visits you daily to chat and keep you company, and the two of you become close friends. She also keeps you informed about the goings-on within the temple, telling you both what you need to know and what to be cautious of, which is crucial for your stay there.
"Things between Master Sol and Master Vernestra haven't been going well lately," Jecki shares during lunch. Although her words sound casual, you detect a hint of worry in her tone.
You set your spoon down on the compartment tray, pausing your meal for a moment. You immediately realize that what Jecki is saying is a warning—a signal for you to be wary of the tensions that could escalate in the future and to be prepared.
"Master Sol tried to access the records of Master Vernestra's former Padawan but found nothing. When Master Vernestra learned about it, she was furious and sent my master on a mission to the planet Arkinnea."
You frown upon hearing this. Arkinnea is notorious for its lawlessness, a place fraught with danger due to the long-standing conflict between soldiers and refugees that has escalated into continuous civil wars. No outsider is brave or foolish enough to set foot there without good reason, so it’s no wonder Jecki looks so worried.
"My Master is worried that Master Vernestra might try to approach you while he’s away," Jecki adds, reaching out to gently squeeze your hand—a gesture meant to offer consolation. "He wants you to be careful because if Master Vernestra comes here, I won’t be able to protect you."
The name of Master Vernestra draws your mind into a vision, to see flashes of past and future intertwined.
You see Qimir as he once was: a Padawan clad in a yellow tunic, his braid cascading at the nape of his neck. Handsome, youthful, and brimming with potential, he was a rising star expected to attain the rank of master before reaching forty.
Yet beneath the promising exterior of a future Jedi Master lay a dark side that had long remained hidden—a darkness that grew steadily, bit by bit, until it was finally exposed.
You see the fear in Master Vernestra's eyes when she confronted her former apprentice, and you know those eyes will look at you with the same dread when the time comes to meet her in the near future.”
Pulling yourself from the vision, you turn to Jecki and nod, your demeanor calm and steady “She can’t touch me,” you say with quiet conviction.
Jecki blinks in surprise at your relatively calm response, sensing that your words are not meant to comfort but rather reflect a confident assessment of the situation. "How can you be so sure?" she can't help but ask.
The corner of your mouth lifts in a smile, but Jecki notices it doesn't reach your eyes. “Because I know,” you reply simply.
You have never truly worried about Master Vernestra, as she is not even a threat in your eyes.
However, among all the members of the Jedi Order, the only person you find truly difficult to contend with is Yord Fandar, the Jedi Knight with the gift of prophecy and your blood relative.
After the lunch hour ends, Jecki returns to her Padawan training, leaving you alone once more. As you stroll through the darkened halls of the Jedi Temple, your thoughts drift back to your last conversation with Yord. His furious voice still echoes in your mind.
“Muad’Dib, you have consumed your own kin. You cannot do this to her!”
Muad'Dib—the name feels eerily familiar, as though it has always been your own.
That was the moment you truly realized you were no longer yourself.
The memories of Paul Atreides lived within you, intertwined with your own, yet they felt alien, like an intrusion. But it was you who allowed him in; you let his memories merge with yours to protect your mind from shattering after drinking the Water of Life.
Now, you are Paul, and Paul is you.
"I didn't consume her; I saved her. Without me, she would have ended up like Alia. I believe you know this well," said Paul, speaking through your lips.
At the mention of Alia, Yord's expression changed instantly.
All the descendants of House Atreides know the tragic downfall of Saint Alia of the Knife—a history etched deep in their bloodline.
Both Alia and you share a similar fate, marked as 'abominations'—beings that defy the natural order. This is due to having received powers from the Water of Life and Spice at a young age. This ability resulted in the power to perceive everything within the stream of time and to access ancestral memories like a Reverend Mother. However, being too young and fragile to handle the onslaught of visions and egos, the powers became a double-edged sword, inflicting devastating mental damage.
It is said that those labeled as abominations will meet a cruel end before their time, just like Alia, who couldn’t control her will and identity. Her life had been filled with suffering, unable to resist the malevolent wills of her ancestors. In the end, she was completely possessed by Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, the sworn enemy of House Atreides and Lady Jessica's secret father. This led her to take her own life by jumping from a building, preventing Harkonnen from using her body to harm her family.
The story of Alia became one of the darkest tragedies buried deep in Paul Atreides' heart until the day he died. If I could have saved her, she wouldn’t have ended up like that, Paul always believed, regretting that he couldn't do more.
It was this regret that drove him to reach out to you in the final moments of your life, partly hoping to make up for what he had failed to do when he was alive.
“Don’t worry. Her spirit hasn’t gone anywhere. I am her, and she is me. We are one and the same, inseparable.”
You said, though you knew those words weren’t truly yours—they belonged to Paul himself.
And that’s the truth. You may eventually end up like Alia one day. Though you are a distant descendant of Paul Atreides, the legendary Kwisatz Haderach, that sacred bloodline is now so diluted that it hardly means anything. Moreover, you were already weak to begin with; even using your powers in small amounts has always been a struggle. Drinking the Water of Life was a grave mistake. The immense power you received was too much, corroding your spirit and leaving it hollow. If Paul’s consciousness hadn’t intervened to help and fill the void, you would have been possessed by the malevolent egos or faced a fate even worse than Alia’s.
Yord couldn't argue with all the reasons given, but accepting the truth was still not easy for him. After that day, the young Jedi vanished from your life. No contact, no meetings; it was as if everything between the two of you seemed to be completely severed.
But you know that sooner or later, Yord will come back to you. The fates of both of you were intertwined from the day you and he were born. You are Paul’s heir, and Yord is Alia’s heir—the remaining bloodline of the Atreides siblings that has survived to this day. For you two, nothing is a coincidence. Everything has been preordained.
...just like what's about to happen next.
Your thoughts halt, along with your footsteps, as you sense someone's gaze watching you from a corner of the temple hall.
You look up, your deep blue eyes turning knowingly in that direction. "Is there something you want to talk about, Yord?"
A sigh echoes through the air before the tall figure of the young Jedi steps out reluctantly.
Yord hadn’t intended for you to notice his presence, but it seems that hiding himself was a futile effort when facing someone with such powerful foresight that they seem to see through everything.
Yord meets your gaze, looking at you—the last of the Fremen, who is also a distant relative of his—with a tumult of emotions swelling inside him, unsure how to put them into words.
You, dressed in a simple black gown, blend into the shadows, exuding mystery, much like a Bene Gesserit sister from ancient records. But the difference lies in your long hair tied into a ponytail with a blue ribbon. Yord knows well what the color blue signifies among the Fremen—it means that the person has a lover.
And your lover is a Sith Lord. That is the truth you revealed to the Jedi yourself.
Over the past month, many rumors have reached Yord's ears, all revolving around you. Others in the Order think you're lying, and Yord wishes he could believe that too, if not for the fact that he knows full well who you are. And he knows you could never lie.
Because the spirit within your mortal shell is Lisan Al-Gaib, the one who once made the entire galaxy bow at his feet.
"Lisan Al-Gaib sees and knows everything in the universe," his mother had once said. And so, Yord is certain that everything you’ve said is true, no matter how hard it is to accept.
"I am not the Lisan al-Gaib you expect," you declare preemptively, shaking your head. "I’m sorry to tell you, but that man died a long time ago. Remember this—the old Kwisatz Haderach you've heard of no longer exists. "
The young Jedi flinches slightly, not expecting you to read his thoughts.
“Don’t worry, I don’t have the Force. I can’t read anyone’s mind. It’s just an analysis of probabilities based on the Bene Gesserit method,” you explain, answering his unspoken question before Yord even asks. “I assume your mother didn’t teach you about the path of the Bene Gesserit.”
No need to guess—Bene Gesserit knowledge is a secret reserved only for trained women. Aside from the Kwisatz Haderach, no man in the galaxy can fully learn or comprehend these techniques.
However, even without Bene Gesserit training, Yord possesses a slight gift for seeing visions of time—a trait inherited from the bloodline of Alia Atreides that lingers within him.
Alia…
Paul’s consciousness within you trembles with indescribable sorrow as he gazes at Yord’s features—sharp cheekbones, a high brow, dreadlocked brown hair, and olive skin. None of Yord’s features resemble those of Alia, his sister from a past life. The centuries have diluted the DNA of the Atreides beyond recognition. Still, Paul cannot deny the profound genetic and spiritual connection binding him to his descendants.
This Jedi is an Atreides, no matter what. That is an unchangeable truth.
You force yourself to suppress a sudden surge of emotion, hiding it behind a composed tone. “I understand you have many questions about me, but I cannot provide answers to all of them.”
For a moment, Yord looks at you with a hint of trepidation. Even though you’ve assured him you can’t read minds, he still feels unsettled when you speak as if you know his every thought.
The Jedi clears his throat and questions you directly. 'You mentioned that the old Kwisatz Haderach no longer exists.' He pauses as he gauges your reaction before continuing, 'Does that mean there will be a new Kwisatz Haderach?
Your breath catches, the deep blue in your eyes darkening with a mix of alarm and admiration. He caught on to that subtle detail in my words so quickly! Rightly so, considering his Atreides bloodline.
You nod. There’s no point in avoiding the truth. Evasion will only deepen the mistrust between you. You need him to trust you completely, as Yord will play a crucial role in what’s to come, even if he doesn’t realize it yet.
“Yes, there will be another Kwisatz Haderach, but not in our lifetime.”
Yord has to steel himself to keep from trembling when he hears your firm, emotionless confirmation.
Though ancient religious texts exalt the Kwisatz Haderach as the hope of mankind, during the era when the old Kwisatz Haderach lived, the galaxy was engulfed in bloody wars that ravaged innumerable lives. Many races had been wiped out, including the Fremen people.
If a second Kwisatz Haderach were to emerge, what fate would the universe face?
The door of prescience opens, and the answer becomes clear in Yord’s mind.
There is over a fifty percent chance that the same catastrophe will repeat itself, perpetuating the endless, cursed cycle.
"We must stop it," Yord's voice hardens, his face etched with tension. "We cannot allow this to happen again!"
He turns to meet your gaze with unwavering resolve, assured that you know what to do next. You know what to do next. You are the only one who can see the future more clearly than he can, the only one able to foresee the dangers that no one else is allowed to see.
But instead of offering him another answer, you deliberately choose to look away. “The future is uncertain, Yord,” you murmur softly, your voice tinged with unmistakable unease. “There are countless possibilities and impossibilities. For now, I cannot provide you with a definite answer, but I have a warning for you, one you must remember..."
You pause for a moment, caught in the grip of your own reluctance. "Beware of Qimir," you finally say.
Qimir, Yord recalls. That's the name of your lover, the one you accuse of being a Sith Lord. His brows furrow, not just in confusion, but with a deep-seated concern. "Why? What's gonna happen?"
“I can't say more,” you cut him off abruptly. “My visions have only revealed this much.” You say, fully aware that you are hiding the truth from him.
The truth is that Qimir must be stopped to prevent the birth of the second Kwisatz Haderach.
And Yord is the only one capable of stopping Qimir, yet doing so might come at the cost of his own life.
In the near future, they will face each other on the planet Eiram, the place where everything begins and inevitably ends. The paths of fate branch out in countless directions from that confrontation—paths where Qimir survives, paths where Yord survives, and paths where both of them perish. None of these paths lead to a beautiful conclusion. Every possible outcome points towards death.
The visions fill you with unspeakable dread. Not even the Bene Gesserit litany can calm your racing heart.
You realize this is the most dangerous gamble of all. The fate of the entire universe rests solely on your decision.

-> semi-set personality due to evolve (MCs reclusive upbringing)
-> 5 characters to romance (3 in book 1, not sure if the other two will follow, they'll probably be fully romanceable in book 2)
-> POVs of the ROs included
-> an open-minded author that is inclined to change NPCs to fully fledged ROs depending on the general opinion/wishes of readers
-> an emotional roller coaster, all in all nothing for ppl that want a light-hearted theme
-> later on you'll be able to choose part of your race (vampires, merpeople, demons, shapeshifters, phoenixes -and many more) & with that you can determine and further develop your special skillset.
romanceable characters:
the master [Alois|Alice|Alix] (m|f|n) 24 winters
Aloof, cold eyes and reclusive as fuck. And your esteemed master -as if any of you actually want this dynamic... A hates you and your position, especially the hidden context it supplies to everyone they meet...
A has silver eyes that always seem distant, defined cheek bones with mostly soft facial features and long, silver hair.
Content warnings for Leto's route: survivor-guilt, body dysphoria, touch-starved, angst, hurt/comfort, captivity & enslavement, torture, ptsd
the assassin [Zane|Zoey] (m|f) 28 winters
Z is everything their mother wanted them to be. Her own personal weapon. One she is now inclined to use for her vendetta against you.
They have dark brown hair with intelligent hazel eyes that seem to observe their surroundings constantly. They were raised with stories about you, stories you know nothing about. How can it be that Z seems to know more of you and your family than you yourself?

Modern World’s Fairs Aren’t Worth the Strain on Communities
As an intro, I want to liken modern World’s Fairs to the Olympics. It’s well known at this point that for practically every city that hosts the Olympics, the result is unhappy civilians, an environment ripe for corruption, stress on local workers, and miniscule (if not non-existent) return on investment. [Relevant article from the New York Times | Non Paywalled Mirror]
Now, incase you didn’t know, World’s Fairs (like the ones you remember from the 1800’s and 1900’s) are still happening, they are just called World Expos now.
And you can assume that the type of events that brought you the Eiffel Tower and the Space Needle would also be just as taxing as the Olympics. For 2025, Osaka is planning a new World’s Expo, and a significant chunk of public sentiment is either skeptical or downright unsupportive of the project. Local business workers don’t predict a financial return, constituents forecast taxes going up to fund the growing money pit, and many people across the country find the idea of having an Expo at all as archaic. Japan is also going through a labor shortage right now, and even though labor and wage protections are in place, there are still very real concerns about overworking the already stretched construction industry.

So that leaves a simple question: are these problems simply endemic to World Expos? Can we realistically expect a world where future expos are unburdened by these ethical concerns?
In my opinion, as long as the primary motive of a World Expo is to introduce revenue to the region, then I believe not. As mentioned by a great article from the University of South Carolina, Diplomacy is often neglected when the topic of Modern Expos are mentioned. The strong diplomatic benefits of an Expo are completely at ends with the publicly espoused benefits of an Expo, which often highlight the monetary gains instead. The message that the Bureau International des Expositions (Expo organizing committee) showcases is not in line with what the general public cares about in an Expo. If the BIE wants it to be an economic event, then they should reduce the emphasis on flashy pavilions and instead pump up the emphasis on travel and trade. But of course, if the BIE didn’t focus on those pavilions, then there are plenty of other trade shows that fulfill the economic role much better. That’s the irony of it all. If you look at the innovative architecture and events that Expos are known for, you can instantly see that flashy, provocative buildings are not going to be the ideal place to promote business growth, but that they instead promote individual interest in global communities and art.

In short, either more changes need to occur to improve profitability, or the BIE needs to be honest with itself and recognize that an Expo does not need to be immensely profitable in its currently declining state. The Expo is on a downturn, and forcing it to try and be a money printer is making it crumble apart faster.
One big problem to tackle in this area is the fact that the Expo is a multi-billion dollar expenditure that is mostly frontloaded onto the host country. Additionally, another issue is that the Expo has the somewhat unique issue of being downgraded in prestige. The title of “Olympiad” still carries ~about~ as much weight as it did in the 70’s. But in the same vein, I can almost guarantee that the presenters of the Ford Mustang in the 1964 World’s Fair felt much more strongly about the event than the corporations that simply clock in to the event today. No auto maker sees the Expo as prestigious enough nowadays to unveil a car at. The World Expo has been watered down to a checkbox rather than a year making event, which is the natural result when the event is boiled down to a profiteering scheme rather than a cultural showcase. The new cycle cements this, with us getting round the clock coverage of the Olympics, and simply blurbs and minimal postings about the Expo.
So if the Expo isn’t a money maker, isn’t a news maker, and isn’t a diplomacy juggernaut, then what is it? A shell of its former shell to most. And in all honesty, that is for good reason. The Expo of today most likely won’t capture the magic of the last time Osaka hosted the Expo in the 70s. The Expo of today most likely won’t bring much foreign investment. The Expo of today most likely won’t pull through as a saviour for labor. And the Expo of today most likely won’t recoup its local investments, causing tax money to be practically burned for what many see as a trinket.
I don’t deny these conclusions. But as an individual, and a person hoping for a more united global community, I still hold out hope for the general concept of an expo. Promoting togetherness and awareness of our global communities can never be a wrong step in my book, and seeing so many cultures showcase themselves with pride is important to promote a more diverse and accepting global populace. However, that doesn’t mean that the BIE cannot and could not do better, and it also doesn’t mean I intend to turn a blind eye on future posts. Many of my planned blogs are intended to be highly critical of the Expo’s, simply because critique is the primary way that institutions grow. I think the concept behind the Expo is extremely sound, and I’d hate to lose it. But it’s undeniable that far too little focus has been placed on sustainability and equitability for these Expos: both in the past and in the modern day. If the BIE continues to stagnate like it has, the Expo will simply become more contentious and more underwhelming, at which point it could die a deserving death if unrectified.
Thanks for reading this short type up. For now, goodbye.

Welcome to Jackass
WARNING the following show features stunts performed by either professionals or under the supervision of professionals. Accordingly, MTV and its producers must insist that no one attempt to recreate or re-enact any stunt or activity performed on this show. "Hi I'm Silly Knoxville, and welcome to Jackass" *cue Jackass intro theme*
---
This one is going to be something to explain. My thought process is random and weird, you've been warned HA. OK SO- basically I was listening to Andrew WK, as I usually do. I then found out that Andrew WK made a song for the first Jackass film. I listened to the song (it's called "We Want Fun" btw) and I started thinking of the show itself. THEN I made the connection that I associate a majority of Andrew WK's music with Silly, and he made a song for Jackass. So, THEN I thought to myself "the show Jackass is about crazy stunts and people doing dumb shit. Silly would LOVE IT". THEEENNNNNN I had the idea of her referencing the iconic "Hi I'm Johnny Knoxville, and welcome to Jackass" line. Had to draw it cuz she would DEFINITELY do a reference like this. Then I drew it. Did you manage to follow along and understand my thought process? No? Good. You weren't meant to. This is also my first attempt at fully drawing cuts/injuries WOOOOOOO! Now I can point to this when I say that "my content isn't for kids" HAH. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out honestly, those nearly 5 hours were worth it. Also yes, before you ask, blood in TMM is the colour black. I dunno why, I just think using actual dark blood red colours would be too much for TMM. (I say that and there's still lore to be unveiled that is.... definitely a lot more than "red blood being too much") ALSO also, despite all the cuts and bruises on her, Silly's actually fine. She's the toughest out of the 3. So she's kinda used to being this beat up from the realms she's been to. --- also her last name obviously isn't "Knoxville" btw- she doesn't use or like her second name cuz of lore reasons I wanna reveal in TMM's story later on.

"Inside Congress: Jake Auchincloss' Latest Stock Disclosure Unveiled"
Certainly! Here's an easy-to-understand Tumblr blog post about the recent stock trades by Representative Jake Auchincloss.
Intro
Have you ever wondered how politicians handle their investments? Recently, Representative Jake Auchincloss from Massachusetts made headlines with some newly disclosed stock trades. Understanding these trades can give us insights into how politicians manage their finances and the potential conflicts that might arise.
What it is
