I really like the potential friendship thing whitaker and santos have going on
personally i love the hc of santo being the eldest siblings and only having younger brothers and for me it kinda recontextualizes their relationship a bit. she picks on him and makes fun of him with the whole huckleberry thing but she also makes sure he’s okay and helps him out. she does the nail thing for him and im p sure after that she made him take a patient bc he was feeling hesitant. (don’t qrt me I don’t rlly rmr) but i love the idea of santos seeing someone who maybe reminds her of her own little brothers and decides to make it her life goal to tease him. she teases and then doubles down and asks if he’s okay and that’s soo older sibling coded. and it’s like. if not younger brother then why younger brother shaped?!
whitaker also is the youngest of the family and like it shows. very wet cat coded and all that but he’s used to being teased/bullied by his older brothers and i feel like partially that’s why he isn’t so rahhh against her. because he’s very off put by her actions and definitely is like “??” but isn’t like fawk you like idk most people would be lol. and post scapelgate he still asks if she’s okay and kinda starts to not really take her as seriously. he gets the idea of her being socially awkward very quickly especially after that painful “so long losers” comment.
also idk abt yall but with my guy friends it’s just in my nature to bully them but like affectionately. so… idk maybe im the only one who sees the siblingism potential in them.
the idea of both of them kinda missing their older/younger siblings and finding that dynamic in each other could be kinda cutesy yall

im hammering out the particulars because it would take so much fucking work from all parties to even remotely get this to happen but i like thinking about it recreationally and wanted a visual for it to help with the hammering. tl;dr post m8-8 secret ending RI mephisto who is not any less nasty much less repentant but is still Useful and grasping for any sense of self-deluded normalcy in a post sasha and talulah world, or some such.

i have an idea for a character design but what animals are usually associated with medicine??? the most common answer i got was snake, but i also thought of lab rats/mice, rabbits etc
#snake has the longest history with medicine especially since its shown on the rod of asclepius and the myths around venom#i also didnt know this but their shedding skin is referenced as symbols of rebirth and growth while their appearance resembles an#umbilical cord which gives it a really strong connection to health in some cultures.. although if i had to think abt modern medicine and#pharmacies the first thing i think of is white lab mice like pinky and the brain. for some reason i also thought of rabbits#bc of how its used for anti animal testing logos but thats more loose. however i did learn that the jade rabbit is shown to#use a pestle and mortar to create medicine in some stories so that could work...???? but its not as well known i think#i also thought of possums but that was more of an irony thing. same for bats but both are ironically really resistant to disease and act#as carriers. a death symbol like vultures or ravens/crows might work with a plague doctors mask but i feel#like that isnt the vibe im going for. black cat would be interesting considering superstition but im also on the fence abt that#actually what else is associated with medicine?? normally its stuff like pills crosses bandaids syringes etc#doctors coats and gloves.. especially plague doctor masks or medical masks in general but not much else huh#hand sanitizer and tissues.. pill bottles... blue nurse uniforms.. gauze and casts with signed names... hmmmm/.........#nurse dresses..??? sure?? i also see scalpels and knives but thats more for like. horror doctors for scary stories#im going for cute maybe even regular ass doctor vibe. like harvey sdv. or tony tony chopper#yapping

Aww Scalpel is cute, here's a knife post:
I think Billy would love a butterfly knife.
They're a type of really unique folding knife with two handles that rotate around the tang, which is the part of the blade that extends into the handle of the knife. In this case the tang and handles are separate:
Safe handle is self explanatory, but the Bite handle makes contact with the blade. When the knife is closed the handles fold around the blade like this:
The reason these are fucking cool is that the rotating handles mean you can 1. whip that blade out really quick, and 2. you can do cool ass tricks if you're skilled enough, but it definitely takes practice. That's part of why I think Billy would be into these, you can't just pick it up, you have to know how to use it or you're going to hurt yourself.
Also? Stimmiest knife on the market, look at this shit:
Billy starts doing this ^ shit and Stu basically cums in his pants, to him this is like one of those elaborate dances birds do to attract a mate, and the dance is working on him. Billy is oblivious to it for a while, but huh, most of the time when he plays with that one knife he gets his dick sucked. Of course when he puts it all together he starts doing it when he wants to tease Stu.
I also like the idea of Billy having a bunch of little scars on his hand from when he's nicked himself with it, mostly because that's hot to me and it would be to Stu too.

I also accidentally showed off a bit of the scalpel tool; the tool itself is complete, now I just need to make something that reacts to it.
#original#trauma center#trauma center recreation#also i changed my username already lol#delphiresearchteam -> giddydelphiresearcher#the “team” part definitely didn't fit and it was lacking the attitude i wanted to go for. i like this better#anyway i spent WAY too long trying to polish the scalpel#both the sound effect and the trail#the sound effect i'm pretty satisfied with! not perfect but close enough#it's the original scalpel sound effect but i couldn't quite get it to loop properly the way it does in-game#the trail is still messy. specifically when it's curving#i tried a thing to make it less messy but it actually made it more messy#and then i tried to fix THAT and failed so i put it back the way it was#wasted 2 hours on that. i probably could've actually made a Thing for the scalpel to interact with in that time lol#so yeah that's next on the list for tomorrow#after that i'll try making the gel#the gel works by spawning a bunch of puddles that individually interact with Things#that WOULD be intimidating but spawning a bunch of Things is how i made the scalpel trail#also i just realized: i think if you move the cursor too fast with the scalpel it'll actually skip over objects#same with the laser but that's less of a problem#imagine doing your opening incision in a perfect swift stroke and then being told you missed a spot. absolute bullshit#i'll figure it out tomorrow#surely it's easy to check if a line intersects a collision area right?

The canon reason for chidori being impossible without the sharingan is so stupid I have lay my head in my hands every time I think about it
#what do you MEAN it makes you move too fast. what does that MEAN#it’s literally not an ocular jutsu. why does it give you tunnel vision?????#the fact that we see Kakashi modify it into a honing jutsu (lighting hounds) and Kakashi and Sasuke both stand still while using it#MULTIPLE TIMES mind you. means that it absolutely does not compel the user to move#it’s just a very lazy way of saying ‘this is a special power for special boys’ so that Naruto could have his own unique move#and it always fucks me up when kabuto or sakura pulls out the chakra scalpel because what is the chakra scalpel if not a weak chidori#get a medic with lighting release to whip out that chakra scalpel and push like ten times the needed chakra? chidori.#literally WHAT about it makes the sharingan a requirement#naruto
