"Bleeden' Jesus, bonnie!" Soap yelps, drawing his hand back suddenly from where he had reached to grab his sweet birds hand. Casual, sweet, nonchalant.

"Mind tellin' meh why yer hands feel like you've been fondlen hot coals like a right fucken' bawbag?" He mumbles, brow furrowing as he reaches just a bit further up to grab her by her upper arms so he can look her over, the flesh bare beneath his fingertips in her tank top.

Much to his surprise, the skin there is concerningly cold, and his look of worry only deepens as he stands, pulling his hands away and beginning to rifle around for her pants, knowing that she'll put up a Hell of a fight if he tries to drag her to the doctor in those cute little pajama bottoms he loves.

But his bird isn't even mildly concerned, softly gripping his bicep and murmur soft words of placation until he comes back to the couch with her. After all, she feels fine. This just happens sometimes, and the game just came back on. He wouldn't want to miss it, right?

Not even a week later, Soap is getting ready for his impending deployment the next day, checking everything over and making sure he has all of the pretty pictures of his bird that he can't leave home without. That's when he feels a presence behind him from his seat perched on the edge of their bed and a nose nuzzling sweetly into his neck.

A damn cold nose at that.

Two absolutely frigid hands wrap around his midsection and pull him back just a bit until he's flush against his girl. "What in the name oh' tha' Pope is wrong wit' you, bird?"

The question isn't meant to be insulting or have nearly as much bite as it did. But Johnny is SURE that it isn't normal for the body's hands and nose to be freezing while the torso is absolutely burning up, especially not when you apparently fall on both ends of the spectrum, depending on the day.

At this point, it's a little harder for his bird to convince Johnny that she doesn't need to go to a doctor. After all, she's already slung over his shoulder and halfway out the door. His jaw is set stubbornly, and his brows have that determined furrow that means no one can talk him out of it.

*SMACK*

The sound reverberates through the room as Soap pauses mid-stride, processing that just happened. "... Bonnie... Did you just?-..."

The only answer he gets is a fit of soft giggles as she presses a hand to her mouth. Well, she can't be feeling THAT bad then, not when she knows what she just signed up for.

"... Aye? So, that's how it's gonnae be then? Alright, princess. Let me show you how it's done." His smirk borders on menacing as Soap turns on his heel with near deadly precision, prowling towards their shared bedroom with his hands gripping the bird on his shoulder just a bit tighter.

Fucked up internal temperatures or not, the doctor will still be there once she has a few less braincells melted out of her ears into the mattress, right? Maybe it will help her regulate?

Oh, he'll find out all right.

Omega knew Hunter would be there to save her on Tantiss, because he always has been. You can see that in the smile she gave him after Hemlock was killed.

Crosshair, on the other hand… she knew he never wanted to go back there. It’s not that she didn’t trust him to protect her; she just knew how difficult that journey would have been for him. Yet he was there, and he made that shot to save her, despite the fact he didn’t have his shooting hand anymore.

hi i can no longer act coy or hope that a job will come in time so im coming to everyone really embarassingly with my issues

in June I attempted to get fired from/left my job after having a really embarassing public meltdown due to having Rapid-Cycling Mixed Bipolar and the unending stress of that job of 3+ years. I've been struggling to get a job afterwards due to being in CA without a vehicle, and i'm currently working on an overdue commission so could not open up any more.

Soon after, my mother's car imploded, and a series of incidents related to a used engine and taking out a loan with a friend has left her both needing to pay back the loan and still needing to get a new car, putting her thousands in the hole.

my mother has allowed me to not worry about paying rent while unemployed, but now the person living with us is moving out, so it will be on me and my mother to pay rent, upping mine from $300 to $500 a month. I am currently job hunting with good prospects, but I am still in need of some assistance.

I DO NOT WANT TO ASK FOR DONATIONS WITHOUT GIVING SOMETHING IN RETURN, I have a very bad time taking help from people without doing something in return because I do not want people to feel like they Have to give me money or help me, I want to Offer something in return for that money, even in a situation like this, because I want everyone to come out on the other end feeling fulfilled, so I'm offering some (slow) cheaper commissions I can work on in between the bigger comm I owe.

i cant currently take on big commissions as I have one i owe and the commissioner is a very generous person who has been waiting a good few months for me to finish one during this hectic time, but if you're interested in getting something a little higher quality for a donation, a $30-50 USD donation can get you a ''simple commission'' styled drawing --- that is, you give me a prompt and character refferences (ocs or fanart, up to 2-3 characters depending on complexity), and I draw them like below (color complexity depends on price, the higher the amount the more the color).

You wont have access to revisions to make this as fast as possible, so i HIGHLY reccomend only getting fanart comms of these and to make sure you really like my style!!

this is one of those situations where I DEEPLY reccomend people do not donate unless they want something in return, if you dont wanna ask for a drawing or anything i reccomend going to people in more dire circumstances and helping them out with your donation!!!

Azris fic idea

Azriel and Eris are finally at the stage in their new relationship where they’re bold enough to sleep in the same bed.

Azriel doesn’t even touch Eris until he gets impatient and hugs him. Azriel absolutely melts and falls asleep so fast.

They both sleep fantastically that night, but come morning Azriel doesn’t wake up. At first Eris panicked, but upon further inspection he realizes that Azriel is in the deepest sleep ever.

On Az’s end, laying in that bed is the warmest he’s ever been and he hasn’t had a full night sleep in who knows how long— once he closes his eyes, he’s out.

He sleeps nearly three whole days, when he finally wakes up he doesn’t know where he is but he’s never felt more relieved.

Maybe Kim liked being in the dark, maybe she enjoyed the coziness of a confined space, maybe she was indeed neurodivergent, but the maternal instinct to turn on the big light when I watched her working in these conditions kicked in HARD.

Idk, the idea of this office being a reflection of her emotional world, still enclosed and gloomy, while dissonant with her mandatory well put together appearance (that red lip is phenomenal on her) just grips my heart.... It's whatever tho....

the "we were robbed of calpernia and she would've been better than neve!" take has one glaring issue for me (beyond the fact that i personally love Neve and wouldn't give her up for anything):

Calpernia as a companion is an idea that was ditched a LONG time ago. Neve appears in her own story in Tevinter Nights (2020), chasing Aelia, which means both characters were thought up well before that story was written. You were not "robbed" of Calpernia. They dropped that idea in the concept art stage. You have no fucking clue if the idea would've been good in practice, you are making things up.
