Ohh boy jcudbfjd yes! These were my ideas before the movie came out. I don't know if anyone will read it it's long but oh well writing them down makes me think more clear

Magnifico:

So the concept of him experiencing with colonizers is still there expect it happened BEFORE he was born. İn an old kingdom. Only the aristocrats could survive it and they came to where Rosas is in right now for safe place. Expect in their time the survivers were much silent? Like there was nothing to celebrate for nothing to smile about, they just ran away from a genocide caused by horrible magic.

And because all the survivors were aristocrats they didn't had any peasents to boss around, their status meant nothing right now since the left alone people are now equal. They didn't even had a proper leader, which is where Magnifico comes along. He pulls them together, becomes king, brings laws, builds houses, Medical care camps, schools, draws the lines of the kingdom, literally makes it a whole country born by it's ashes.

As much I don't like to bring up the film we can see that kid Magnifico is floating on the picture. He had magic back them but we never got explained how? So I came up with the idea that Magnifico's parents were one of the top duke and duchesses who made a wish upon a star for the best kid they could ever have. Which lead to the child getting the best ever genes it could possibly grab from generations behind. The healthiest, handsomest, most magical coming from the ancestor's stardust's.

He was the best thing that ever happened to the people of survivers, he could bring them stuff, stuff they wished to have.

Magnifico was like the Messiah. They adored him, he was their everything. He was spoiled by the whole aristocrats of course, he's a wonder kid.

He and his parents also look different in my headcanon, this is how I imagined them to look like before what the film gave us with 3 😐😐😐 heads. İgnore the art quality I just wanted to point out how I just imagine them to look like, it's a doodle I scribbled on phone

A tip to tell the difference between my version and Disney's is,Magnifico is a natural white hair in mine along with his parents. Also is actually tan like in the concept arts. Amaya also has actual brown skin, like in the concept arts.

And before you ask no no other aristocrat could wish upon a star, only they could, this is why Magnifico is so important to them. He does what the stars couldn't automatically.

His parents died of an old age, at the same time, expect they tried their best with every single kind of potion and chemicals to keep them alive because they were scared of if Magnifico is their wish, would he be gone if they be gone? They stayed alive for about 120 years which is almost the limit of the human body, gladly enough he didn't died when they did. They wished for their kid to be the best for everyone, not just for them.

They looked like zombies when they died, it really hurted everyone to see them that way.

Magnifico wished upon a star the day his parents died just like Asha on the tree at the end of the cliff. His parents died and got buried at 6AM he made the wish at the end of the day, 11PM. Magnifico had to deal with so many things for the whole day now thay they were offically gone, they didn't even let him rest even if they wanted :(( he was exhausted at the end of the day when he was finally alone, and even though he knew that this was a forgotten miracle that only happened one time in the history, he wished upon a star,

Saying that he wanted someone here for him, to bring the best of him, whatever he could imagine and could not, ..and it came true!!!

He was in ultimate shock to see Amaya. Now unlike in other cartoons when they have a "perfect" partner it usually goes so smoothly like ohh they're obsessed with them and so clingly. Okay no that didn't happened, yes Amaya is the perfect woman for Magnifico and Magnifico is the perfect match for Amaya but she is still a human?? not just some customized girlfriend. Like why would she still stay there if he treated her like garbage?

Amaya was a human who could be the perfect wished person for Magnifico if he played his cards right and actually worked on their realationship, so it's not instant love. I hate the instantly in love without a thought tropes. They have a slow burn.

Asha:

She did got accepted as the King's apprentice.

And for the Queen's. They make her do works like Cindirella and they mutually annoy eachother time to time. The queen is slightly mean too for the funsies. They 3 got a we may be sometimes mean to eachother but Asha would ask for realationship advice to us type of realationship.

Charo is still there, their cat. Which Asha had enough of. (They make her clean after him a lot, spoiled cat 😼)

The Star boy is a boy, like in the concepts and exists. Expect I thought he would be more of a 15 year old than looking like a 20 year old to get more of his childish personality.

He's not useless like in the movie where the only helpful thing he did was opening the elevator's door and nothing else other than being Asha's new pet.

He can do magic, so does Asha. This is what gets on Magnficio's nerves. He doesn't knows about the Star boy's existence but later he finds out. He'll need to accept them both

Also disclaimer this is about to be a very low stakes problem about a very small rp server between friends. If you don’t care then don’t read it’s fine 😂 I just want opinions over something I have some anxiety about. Everyone is in the same age range of about 24-26

Ok, so: basically what it says on the tin, I’m in a small rp server that has nothing to do with fandoms it’s just OCs, mostly dnd stuff. It’s just between me and a couple friends, there has been no serious drama whatsoever and it’s very nice!

We recently added a new member (I’ll call him Blue) who doesn’t have a lot of characters yet, but the handful he does have are… well. Practically all the same character. They have different backstories but all the same personality, which is to say they have none.

Every character of his is entirely neutral all the time, but not as some sort of comedy bit, just as… they are all very Prim And Proper, very intelligent, very unwilling to react to anything at all. No strong emotions about anything even when faced with something extreme like a villain or even a non-evil crazy event. We like to have fun and throw wild dangerous or just funny circumstances at our characters, yet his characters essentially always go 😐 “Well. That happened. Anyways.” And brush it all off… unless Blue thinks he can be The Savior of the day. But if he can’t just shut down the whole event, then his characters go back to being totally checked out and uncaring about any of it. He explains this saying that they’re all used to this kind of thing (though their backstories do say otherwise) and one of them is a god so he especially doesn’t need to react to things.

None of this is really the end of the world, it just makes interacting with his characters very difficult for me and a few others. For instance if I throw a villain in for the day, it’s… kinda hard to actually pose a threat when you have a handful of characters just standing there reacting like they’re on The Office. Similarly it’s harder to form emotional connections between characters if one oc pours their heart out and the other says “Well I’m sorry for your experiences” and brings nothing else to the table. There have been a couple instances as well where my friends and I worry that we’ve upset Blue with how our characters react, but like, if one of ours is a naturally rude and antagonistic person, they are going to be rude and antagonistic. Nobody else has a problem with this bc we all do it for variety and sometimes it’s fun to have a little oc drama! But Blue will have his characters react in a slightly guilt trippy way and then just go silent, sometimes explaining or even complaining out of character that their oc was Just Joking or similar. He hasn’t expressed being upset to us and nobody has had an argument about any of this, but the vibes end up feeling… off.

All of this just makes it hard to interact with Blue’s characters. They’re all The Same, they don’t really involve themselves with the rp in a way that garners reaction, and personally I overthink and worry about possibly upsetting him since we’ve all seen how weird things feel after 1 Antagonist Character says 1 Antagonistic Thing. So if I respond to his characters, I tend to respond more blandly than I do with others. Similarly, he has taken to proposing hypothetical ideas about rp and character interaction and then when I don’t immediately have a good response, he tags me and asks how my characters would react to his. I try my best to respond, really, but because there’s nothing there to bounce off of… it’s hard to come up with a good response! And if the response isn’t good enough Blue seems disappointed with it and just drops the whole idea altogether. This is mainly what fuels my anxiety about it, thinking that I’m not doing good enough while also not being given anything good to work with either.

To be clear I do not think he is being an asshole, At least not on purpose. I think there’s a lot of factors that could explain this and it’s honestly not a crime to just not be “good” at rp. What I’m wanting opinions on is should I be trying harder?? I worry that my effort has been affected by a growing distaste for his characters. He’s a lovely person, I have no beef with him lol, but I think it’s gotten clear that I respond more enthusiastically to the others. It’s not intentional, but it’s what happens bc I feel bad ignoring him altogether especially when he tags me specifically for a reaction. I also don’t know if the classic “omfg just communicate” response is very applicable because honestly I think I WOULD be the asshole for messaging him and saying “hey it’s not that I don’t like you it’s just that your characters are not fun to interact with, fix that!” Even in nicer terms than that haha cause in general offering unsolicited constructive criticism even with the kindest intentions is seen as a bad move.

So… AITA for not responding to Blue as much or as enthusiastically as I do for my other friends? Should I be faking it til I make it or does it not need to be an issue until it becomes one?

TLDR: new member of a small rp server joined and all his characters seem to have no personality and are all the same Perfect Intellectual type. There hasn’t been any serious problem but it is hard to interact with them and I am tending to lean toward bland responses bc I don’t feel like I have anything to work with here. Should I be trying harder or is it not a problem until it’s brought up?

Honestly at this point, I would rather have Trent sit on the bench than play a minute for England.

Every tournament, there is always that one player out of the team that’s targeted, and it’s crystal clear that it’s Trent this time around. The title of scapegoat was assigned to Trent long before the Euros started.

It makes me so upset to see all the hate and criticism Trent receives. We obviously know that this is a new position for him, and that he’s still learning how to properly play in that role but like come on. Everyone is making it seem like he can’t hold the ball for 2 seconds and has consistently given the ball away. Leading up to so many goals conceded😒( literally 1 goal and it wasn’t even his fault). Yes, he has made some mistakes, but they’re acting like the entire team hasn’t been playing like shit. Trent makes one bad pass and we’ll never hear the end of it, but Kane literally gives the ball away for the goal and I hear nothing🤷🏽‍♀️

The agenda is that Trent can’t play in midfield, yet he’s not good enough to beat Walker for the rb position. All Walker can do it sprint a few times up and down the pitch😐. He’s had the most chances created in the team but won’t get the opportunity to play 90 minutes. Like how are you going to sub him off then add runners to the game?!? Gareth doesn’t know how to use the players in his squad, which is why we won’t get far in this tournament.

Going back to my first statement… I would rather have Trent sit on the bench and not play, than be abused in the media. He’s mentioned it before, how he tries to not really let it affect him, but as a human you can only take so much. Thinking back to that ITV interview where they asked about his defending, like who tf does that? That interview literally made me cry, because he looked so vulnerable from being consistently attacked by the media. Like ok, he knows he wasn’t playing the best he got that, no need to keep bringing it up and throwing it in his face.

And working off of my previous post, something I’ve kept thinking about for a couple of weeks…

The gang hasn’t even had that hard of a year.

So their friend went missing, potentially presumed dead. For the most part, their devotion ran out after a few weeks. After that, moving on was their goal. And yes, grief can hurt like a bitch, but don’t forget that it’s not like they had known MC for that long. So how is you grieving a friend of a few weeks/months (continuity error in the book) over the period of a year sooo much worse than said friend being captured for that same time?

Yeah, MC was asleep, so in fairness, their trauma mostly wouldn’t stem from the capture itself (which is all the party thinks about when dismissing their experiences), but there’s still accounting for the fallout of the b1 storyline that—unlike the others—they’re only NOW getting to process, the fact that the world passed them by for a year and now they’re trying to catch up, the knowledge that their body was repeatedly violated for a year and they don’t even know the details so their mind can only run with the worst case scenarios, and to top it all off, that they can’t even take a minute to properly let themselves feel because they’re already on another world-saving quest (against their captor, no less) and while they think their friends would be understanding, they don’t actually show anything more than shallow concern and seem to go out of their way to make MC feel even more left out than they already do.

So yeah, how hard did the party have it? Cause honestly, unless they were an LI that MC romanced, they probably didn’t even suffer that much. And I’m not saying platonic bonds are in any way inferior to romantic bonds, but unless you’re also paying for every single social quest for the party, chances are your MC didn’t grow anywhere near as close to the non-romanced party members as they did with their LI(s).

The only party member that seems to have had it tough regardless is Nia, who has more than enough to deal with after literally getting possessed and stabbed + her new transformations. But at least she’s not actively putting MC’s experiences down, even though she’s not particularly concerned either. But anyway, it’s mostly Mal and Imtura actively putting those experiences down; Nia and Tyril have just been passively ignoring them so far (and as a Tyril romancer, I’m satisfied with the way he kept searching for a way to get to MC, which is more than I can say as a Mal romancer). Though Nia immediately comforting Imtura instead of even just considering MC’s perspective after Imtura sided with Mal doesn’t have her totally in the clear either.

So yeah, miss me with

It wasn’t bad enough to warrant how they’re acting toward MC. And I don’t care that this dialogue was just dependent on not having a certain skill; they’re still thinking and (more importantly) showing it, and based on the tags that day, a hell of a lot of people got it, so it wasn’t some obscure screw-up path. So before this gets misconstrued, this isn’t me saying the rest of the party’s had it easy, this is me saying I haven’t seen a good enough reason for them to act like they won gold in the Pain Olympics while MC just slept through the qualifiers.

Okay, I have a thought and it's going to be a lot and it's going to be controversial but just like give me a second okay. I don't really read like many published books forreal. I'm a fan fiction girly at heart and have been since middle school. Like many I started with Wattpad and through many ups and downs, good, decent, bad, and atrocious level stories I learned some do's and don'ts, and all the cringy repetitive tropes and lingo ect.

I got my toe into fanfiction and a little bit of booktok and I saw all the popular books getting like super hyped and whatnot. But I also saw the side of booktok that's like dunking on all those popular books. So I get curious and I go pick a random Anna Huang book to read it on Kindle and dude, it's straight up a Wattpad book within the first couple pages and it's crazy to me. Like I saw the jokes a couple of times but I didn't think it was like so clear you know?

Like it starts off with every cliche/trope as far as introducing an mmc. He's an all-rounder being that he's attractive, he's a genius, he's the CEO or in this case COO of a company that is the best or one of the best in the country. Because he can never just be comfortable. He can never just be in charge of a bakery that has like two locations that's doing really well for itself within the city.  No no no it has to be a corporation that is the best in the country🦅. 

And oh you thought he just started from the bottom with nothing? Achieved that position within the company and only then did he acquire his wealth?

Also we must always ensure that the model/picture used to represent the mmc is hot. And even if you don't give a reference pic, you use all these positive attributes like wealth, intelligence, the car he drives, and the outfits you describe him in to build an attractive person in the reader's minds. Because we can't take all those dreamy qualities and then have it be an average or "ugly" guy. Then his actions wouldn't be excusable with a couple references to his childhood.

But don't get me wrong I love my dead dove my dark shit ect, I just see the signs of these tropes and themes from the old days present here and it's not my cup of tea.

I’m so frustrated with those interviews… It always lacks depth, barely scratches the surface. I want to know more, I want more substance. I wish the interviewer would ask better questions or try to push a bit more, it’s just lazy work every time.

Again on this topic about Jungkook wanting to be bigger and cool : while I understand what he means by being bigger, you explained it well, I would also love to know what it’s like for him to be "cool". Does he have a role model in mind? is it about a specific image he wants to achieve? Why is it so important for him? Right now it just sounds a bit shallow and superficial and not a very clear goal that could be reached for. Being bigger as an artist can be objectively quantified, with BB charts sales numbers, radio spins, awards and so on (though we could discuss that…). Being cool, on the other hand, is something that you end up being, almost accidentally? For me it sounds as weird as saying I would like to be seen as a humble person, for eg. You don’t get to define yourself as so, it’s one of those qualities that it’s up to others to determine if you are or not, how can it be something you reach for, especially if you verbalize it so loudly? I don’t think it’s something you can work towards. It’s too subjective, not like you have to tick certain boxes and then that’s it, here you are, a cool guy lol. It’s a consequence of your personality, your actions, not a goal. Or am I being too obtuse? I know I tend to be lol English isn’t my first language so I’m struggling to put my thoughts into words.

I’m just a bit skeptical because the goals he’s setting for himself seem too vague and an easy way to getting lost. It almost sounds like a dead end to me. I’ve always find him cool, and paradoxically now the more he’s saying he wants to be like this bla-bla-bla, the less I’m perceiving him that way. Hey different anon! Yeah, these interviews are always pretty boring. Unless Jungkook or the members develop their thoughts they won't be asked follow up questions. I think the interviewers choose not to push them sometimes, even without the language barrier. RM and Suga often give good interviews where they get asked interesting questions, but perhaps interviewers expect less of the other members? In the sense that they don't know whether to push them or not, so they choose not to?

Hmm, I get what you mean, but I think Jungkook's "cool" isn't exactly the English "cool". If you know a little of Korean you probably know the word he's using, which he's used to express what he wanted his legacy as BTS to be. He once said he wanted people to look back at BTS and say "they were cool" (or something like that). "Cool" is kind of an all-encompassing word that means good and enjoyable, in a simple, digestible way, and not necessarily smooth, charming, cold, and other ideas related to "coolness". It's like Jungkook just wants people to remember BTS fondly, like it's enough to be an artist that people enjoy in a very simple, comfortable way, even if it's just one song or performance. Rather than iconic, once in a lifetime group, I guess he just wants BTS to be a group people look back on and say "BTS? Oh, I remember them, they were cool". I don't know, it's simple and innocent, and actually not that ambitious?

On the other hand, Jungkook has always talked about wanting to become a cooler performer and show cooler performances. In fact, that's something all idols says. But it still raises the question of what a cooler performer and performance means to him. We know he's usually a bit dissatisfied after he performs and that he feels like he's lacking in many ways. We also know he wants to look sharp, mature, sexy, powerful, and that's surely part of becoming "cooler" - it's like he wants to become his ideal self and be less Jungkook. I remember Jungkook saying he loves the Seven choreo because it's cool, while I personally find it weak and basic. But it's laid back and "sexy", and he thinks that kind of performance is cool.

Jungkook is very hyperactive and kpop is very excessive. It sounds like maybe Jungkook wants to tone it down, make his performances look more approachable and "effortless" (other concepts related to being "cool"). Maybe this all comes down to his maknae image and not wanting it to limit him, or to be perceived that way forever? So Jungkook becoming cooler is becoming someone who can surprise people and put on laid back performances that look effortless? I'm, once again, reminded of Bieber. I think Jungkook very much admires him and thinks he's a cool performer. He mentioned enjoying him at the Grammys although Bieber didn't dance or do anything special. Jungkook is someone who wears his heart on his sleeve, and maybe he wants to be colder, cooler, and not the goofy cutie we see him as. I can relate to that tbh, because I feel stupid sometimes because I'm too smiley and openly emotional.

Maybe it's not shallow, maybe it's coming from a place of insecurity? We know that, despite recent improvements, Jungkook isn't actually a very confident person, but he's trying to become someone he can be proud of - his ideal self - and, to him, that is simply someone "cool". A cool artist, a cool performer, a cool person. Maybe Jungkook doesn't really know how to express the image he has in his head any better than this? But, yeah, I also disagree with what I think his idea of cool is. And just like the ambition to become "bigger", it's not really an attainable goal. You can always climb higher, in theory. Will there ever be a point at which Jungkook feels like he's "cool enough"? It's doubtful.

So, yeah, I get your skepticism about Jungkook wanting to become "cooler" and how that makes him less cool, but it's not really about being pretentious. I think Jungkook really feels like he's lacking and wants to become a cooler artist, in every sense of the word, but I do feel like he's getting stuck on the idea of coolness being sexiness, manliness, nonchalance.

it's been about a year since i last saw my ex friend, who i had known for EIGHT years... and it's still so crazy to me that our friendship is over. i Really truly believed we were going to be friends for much much longer, and i wonder if she thought the same as i did or was i just really naive

ive also done a Lot of reflecting on our friendship over the past year...... the last time we saw each other she did something awful that i couldnt keep quiet about and i sort of sifted through the memories of the past years to see if she had done anything that was similar to that and it was seriously so astonishing to remember instances where she was very blatantly rude to me, but i Never bothered to confront her about it, or i simply justified / rationalized her behavior until it just made sense to me. i completely stripped away any negativity or awfulness from her actions because i was a. scared to confront her and i didnt want to believe that she had any ill intent towards me. i didnt want to / couldnt handle believing the possibility that a friend would say something to hurt me. and even worse, i was afraid to face the possibility that if i were to bring this problem up to her, she would simply not care

and it sucks because that's what happened when i decided to talk about how she made me v uncomfortable on the last day that i saw her... we had a phone call about it and she was mostly dismissive and it was clear that she didnt care about my feelings, it was all about her pride and ego 😐 and this was the first time id ever brought up an issue to her in our eight years of friendship, so it makes me wonder what would have happened if i just kept that to myself like i did with every problem before it. would we have gone into 10? 12? years of friendship before things ended because she refused to acknowledge how she negatively impacted my feelings with her words / actions??

Albedo had just about enough of his studies

But this singular project, piled onto more projects and exams due this week are gonna be the death of him and all his hard work

He runs his hands along his face once more, trying to keep himself awake. The empty coffee cups on his table had long been gone, and if he gets any more all of the coffee in the dorm will run out

Gods know both he and his roommate desperately need it

Said roommate has actually been watching him for a while now, he looks at the clock, about an hour since he got in his bed?

Deciding to indulge in Xiao's act of.. Whatever this is, Albedo answers as he continues outlining his animation. “Project for ICT, we had to make a whole animation from another project we made for modern literature. If I had known, I wouldn't have let Kaeya make the story so complicated, but Gods know how his mind works.”

Xiao hums throughout all of this, watching the animation turn to life right in front of him. He sits down on Albedo's bed, which is relatively close to his work desk. Albedo's hands move fast, fingers knowing exactly when to double click the screen to undo a mistake or when to angle the screen just right to get the best lines

Albedo's hands are also getting tired, he notes, watching Albedo twist his wrist and crack his knuckles every now and then

This was a weird sight for Xiao, seeing Albedo up at such a late hour. Albedo had a fixed schedule; school, work, studies and sometimes babysitting Klee, but it's all relatively the same. Get up at 8 and come back at 6, study and free time until 12 and it's back to sleep. Rinse and repeat

But seeing Albedo do this and tiring himself, and possibly ruining his schedule, instead of seeing Albedo in bed, sleeping peacefully as the light of the moon from the barely drawn curtains highlights his face, sets Xiao off in a concerning way

“You're tired.” Xiao suddenly says, not expecting the words to come out of him

Albedo hums at this. “I am, glad you noticed.” He retorted, slightly glancing at the mess of coffee cups on his table. It was subtle, but Xiao caught onto it

Huffing a breath, Xiao crosses his arms across his chest. “Don't be sassy with me, go to bed. You can finish that tomorrow.”

“I can't, it's due tomorrow.” The reminder seems to have made Albedo focus more, his body starts tensing up again and his hands are more hurried, no longer the expert and relaxed movements from before

“You can ask for an extension?”

“This is the extension, and you know how strict Miss Kusanali is.”

“I didn't know Miss Kusanali taught ICT,” Xiao delights in hearing Albedo chuckle again, taking on the relaxed stature earlier. Not like he'd show it though

“What does Miss Kusanali not teach, honestly.”

Xiao hums again. Silence befell the two once more, with Xiao watching Albedo's hands complete each frame with ease

Eventually, his eyes climbed higher, noting each and every detail. The pink stain on his white shirt (juice that Klee spilt, he remembers), the diamond birthmark on his neck, and the soft airbrush of his face. Just like his hands, Albedo is expert and relaxed. There's an all-knowing aura to him that just screams "I know more than I let on."

Perhaps this would make Xiao wary if it did not make him oh-so mesmerized

The slow flutter of his eyes brought Xiao back to reality. Right, his mission was to get Albedo to sleep before he wrecks his schedule. What was he doing staring at Albedo like that?

And it seems the man of the subject read his mind, as he let out another one of his airy laughs. “It's 2:30 am and all you've been doing is staring at me. Sleep, Xiao. I'll be okay.”

But Xiao is not who he is if not stubborn, so he stays, resting his elbow on Albedo's desk and his head in his palm

“If you need any help, just tell me. I told you this before.”

Albedo's strokes stop, light blue eyes slowly meeting golden ones

“Told me what?”

Xiao frowns. He clearly remembers telling Albedo a week into living together that if he needed any help, he should call out his name

Granted, Albedo was busy studying with Sucrose, so he probably didn't pay him any mind, (which makes Xiao frown even more, for some reason)

But now it's just them alone, in the middle of the night with just the light of the lamp and drawing tablet to keep them company

Xiao's always been more productive under the moon

“If you need any help,” He lightly touches the stylus in Albedo's hand. “Just call out my name, call for me. I'll help you, no matter what it is or where you are.”

And if only he could feel what Albedo is feeling right now. Tired, yes, but also extremely hyperaware. Hyperaware of the touch to his stylus, and how the touch has moved further down to his own exhausted hands. Hyperaware of the distant beat of his own heart in his ears. Hyperaware of the determined gaze coming from the man next to him, unbothered and all genuine like what he said didn't send Albedo's heart into a flurry and his body feeling more comfortable and safe than it has ever been

He feels safe

So he puts down his stylus, resting his fingers on top of Xiao's. A fleeting touch, but enough for now. Albedo takes a deep breath, letting go of all the work stress piled onto him. Let the wind lead it to wherever for now, and may Xiao lead them further away

His eyes feel heavy and his hands are sore, though the warmth coming from the body next to him is enough to satiate all his needs

The grip on his hand feels tighter, soft caresses and light massages onto it. Albedo smiles, he definitely does feel safe and comfortable around him

“Xiao,”

Xiao hums in response, his voice growing distant but his steady breaths never once leaving Albedo's side

“Good night.”

Albedo only hopes he'll still be there in the morning when he wakes up, right by his side, hand in hand
