I swear every time I think about Izzy telling Ed he's surrounded by family and that they love him because they don’t love Ed again, not yet, but they sure as hell love Izzy.
Then again, if Izzy was dying he would hope that the family that loves him and Stede would take care of Ed, too. Especially when Ed's so devastated because of his loss.

What's your favorite movie in the Cornetto trilogy? 😄
nimuerofour ty so much for asking and feeding my brainrot you are the best OK SO... it's a very hard question but im between Hot Fuzz and The World's End. I love shaun too but as in "i watched it 6 times is a very good movie" and not "i watched it 10 times and im totally obssesed with it" like with the others fgojgfojg f
ANYWAY... for a long time i thought my fav was hot fuzz cause 1) i love murder mysteries and 2) angel and danny beautiful romance (also is just a perfect movie it works like clockwork but that's the cornetto trilogy style) but i dont know why recently i watched the world's end again and it broke me... and i cant even explain why i like it so much...maybe because it chances genres like 3 or 4 times and somehow It Works, how well they combine the comedy with the drama and the horror, what it says about freedom, what it says about recovery, the friendship and broken friendships, the take on nostalgia and wanting to live in the past... I DONT KNOW... i just like it so much... im gonna choose the world's end because i can say for sure it has my fav chara in all the trilogy wich is andy knightley

the way hamlet acts in act 5 scene 1 juuuust clicked to me. like my impression was "smh my head he is so toxic, he did NOT love ophelia as much as laertes did, what is wrong with him" but actually i think the thing that sets him off isn't just laertes' display of grief, it's also how everyone takes it seriously. everyone treats ophelia's funeral like a funeral and is sympathetic to laertes and understanding of his desire to jump in a grave with her etc but these same people around hamlet expected him to celebrate his uncle's coronation and move on from his father's death at the same time. in that moment hamlet sees laertes as similar to the actor narrating priam's death in act 2 scene 2 and it makes him SO mad (and he regrets it later in act 5 scene 2 which is after he realizes laertes' emotions are as real as his own. probably why he calls him "brother" as well)
