That fanfic I promised based on this post by @coy-lee btw THANK YOU for letting me get away with this. Means a lot!! This is my first time doing this, so please excuse the Y/N and errors. Anywho, let’s get on with it!

One thing missing

Their latest ‘experiment’ wasn’t…going well, to say the least. It’d already exploded in their faces 7 times, and that’s not including the test runs. The worst part is, they didn’t even know what they were doing wrong! “I just don’t get it! We did everything right!” Y/N was getting frustrated. “Hey, it’s alright! We tried our best, and that’s what counts here! Not if we were successful or not. That’s nothing special in my eyes(?).” Jack was getting upset with them giving up. It was frustrating just thinking about their smile off their face. But suddenly, he had an idea. “Hey, Y/N.” “Kinda busy fixing this robot right now.” “Oh, I know, I know. But could you take your mind off that for just a minute? I have something else we can do!” Really? And it’ll be easier on me?” “Yes! also fun little thought i had the other day: i think he avoids .96 gal deco like the plague. was excited to see it get splash wall but freaked out about kraken royale. picked it up just to find out about the kraken part mid-match and got jumpscared by the transformation. enough to shove somewhere and never think about it again

i dont think he has like, a set in stone team or anything (i dont think any of the splat 3 promo kids do, they all play matches with each other n theyre all friends) but he usually teams up with anemoneno1, takotruck, and c4l4m4r. they have the most toxic synergy ever but thats another story. my interpretation of ane is its own thing too. i think they and hiro hate each other in the friend way. say the rudest shit to each other as a joke then laugh about it.

YOU WANNA KNOW ABOUT MY OC??? OKAY OKAY. Let me explain EVERYTHING I have about him!! There's a lot, tho. So be prepared! He's a very well-developed character. I basically developed everything for him for first, second and third selecion, as well as the U-20 match! If you have more questions about him, I'd be happy to answer them!! For example his relationship with specific characters, etc.

This is what he looks like!

-Name: Takumi Tsuyosa

-Age: 17/18 (turns 18 in the beginning of first selection)

-Height: 160cm (5"3')

-Weapons: strong kick, high stamina, quick direction changes

-Jersey numbers: 7 (first selection), 28 (second selection), 15 (U-20 match), haven't decided for Neo Egoist League yet

-Second Selection clearing team: Enjin (my friend's OC), Gagamaru, Hiori, Kurona (Zantetsu was in their team on fourth stage but they lost to Barou's team, who chose Zantetsu)

-Neo Egoist League team: Ubers

Tsuyosa didn't start playing soccer for his own enjoyment, it's always been because his father wanted to be a professional player, but never made it, so he wanted his son to live his dream. Basically, this ended in Tsuyosa seeing soccer as a task to please his father instead of as an actual passion or hobby. His skill is great tho, so that's why he was invited to Blue Lock. He didn't want to go, but his father forced him.

In the beginning, Tsuyosa didn't care about winning or not. Actually, he himself wanted to lose so his father will lose his dream. But Tsuyosa is an extremely caring and sweet person, so he only put all his effort into playing in the first match to help his team win. Oh btw, he was in a team with Shidou for first selection!

He had his awakening in the second match of the first selection! Because Tsuyosa is so small, he gets underestimated a lot. For that second match, Tsuyosa played as a center forward in the beginning. When he got onto his position, the opposing team kept belittling him and said things like how easy it's going to be to win, how weak Tsuyosa must be, etc. That provoked Tsuyosa so much, all the frustration inside of him got out and his personality switched completely. Usually, he's very nice, sweet and caring, but suddenly he was an arrogant, egotistical monster and played like one. He helped his team win that match! Ever since that, this monster in him always awakens like this as soon as he starts playing. It's like a switch that turns when the match begins.

This was also how Tsuyosa got the urge to become the world's best striker. Not to please his father or to prove anything to anyone else, but because he wanted to prove to himself how great he is. Tsuyosa is a very rational person, so he usually doesn't feel anger or frustration, since he rationalizes the actions of others. But ever since his awakening, he feels every bit of those feelings as a motivation to play soccer.

He uses his small height to his advantage! Quick stepping pattern, he can change direction very quickly, has good agility, better control over his limbs, and has a good view of the ball! (I actually did research for this on the advantages of being small in soccer.)

Oh also, Tsuyosa has heterochromia! His right eye is red and the left one light blue. He always covers his red eye, except when he plays soccer (after his awakening, as the monster.) Also, his teammates and friends love to randomly push his hair aside to see his red eye.

Tsuyosa doesn't perceive the monster as another personality or another part of him. He always says it's him, just a part that can only come out when he plays soccer. Ego thinks this is very interesting, btw!

After Tsuyosa's awakening, Shidou gets interested in Tsuyosa and they actually get close and start dating very quickly! They actually don't tell anyone about their relationship because Shidou thinks it's funnier if everyone finds out on their own.

For everyone around them, they seem as if they wouldn't fit as a couple, but they do! That's actually the main part of their connection: they equal each other out perfectly! Also, Tsuyosa is very good at sensing how Shidou feels. Which ends up in them being a great combination on the field! In the entirety of Blue Lock, Tsuyosa is the only one who can sense/understand Shidou's crazy playstyle. They help their entire team win the first selection! I might post about their relationship in a more detailed way at some point, there is A LOT more to them than this. I just wanna keep this short here.

In the second selection, Tsuyosa teams up with Enjin (my friend's OC) and Hiori. The first teammate they add is Zantetsu! Then they stay on the fourth stage for quite a while. They lose Zantetsu to Barou, Chigiri, Nagi and Kiyora. After that, they get Gagamaru and Kurona and clear the second selection!

Despite Shidou and Tsuyosa being a couple and loving each other very much, Tsuyosa refuses to be in the same second selection team as Shidou. In the third selection, he chooses Team C (Nagi and Yukimiya) and it's not easy to see for a normal observer, but Tsuyosa can still sense Shidou's playstyle and moves, which helps him stealing the ball and dribbling past him.

Originally, Ego intended to put Tsuyosa on the bench for the U-20 match. But when Shidou was chosen for the U-20 team, Ego decided to put Tsuyosa into the starter team as a midfielder (with Karasu) because he knows how Tsuyosa can understand and sense Shidou's way of playing.

Tsuyosa doesn't mind playing against his boyfriend in a match as serious as this, and neither does Shidou. It even motivates them more!

In Defense of Traditional Wicca.

Before I get into this I want to say that this post is not to cause debate or argument. this is only to give facts and useful sources, that debunk popular myths about what Wicca is and what it is not.

Wicca is predominantly influenced by The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, which one who has read anything about ceremonial magic will see in the Wiccan ritual structure. most of what you all think you know about Gerald Gardner is from TikTok as all the talking points remain the same, and still prove to lack any real historical knowledge of the man or the religion of Wicca. Now keep in mind i am NOT an initiate in traditional Wicca, and i do NOT practice the Wiccan religion. However, I have met some very intelligent Initiates.

you may know one of them Dr. Cory Thomas Hutcheson PhD author of New World Witchery: A Trove of North American Folk Magic (Llewellyn Worldwide 2021) which is an OUTSTANDING book if you don't already have it. I have had the pleasure to sit on a presentation of Cory's at the University of Pennsylvania ( A university with global renown) another name you might know is Thorn Mooney who is currently in her PhD program. I have never had the pleasure to meet Thorn in person but have spoken with her a few times on social media. ( I would like to add that both Cory and Thorn have graduate degrees in relevant topics. Thorn's is in comparative religion focusing on modern religious movements, and Cory has his Ph.D. in folklore you can see the focus of his work on the back of New World Witchery.

Both of these highly educated people are initiates in traditional Wicca. Now Thorn writes and vlogs exclusively about trad wicca, she is an outstanding resource. She has 2 books currently out, and one she is currently writing, she also has YEARS of content on her youtube and tik tok.

so let me get to what brought me here, someone on here shared a post that said "Wiccan beliefs are not witchcraft rules. That's all. Carry on." the replies got kinda spicy. which fundamentally I agree with, we are not bound by the traditional ethics, creeds etc of traditions of which we are not a part of. Trad Wiccans ARE in fact Witches, if you are a none initiate you know nothing of actual Wicca. Formally Wicca is a mystery tradition and therefore keeps its secrets closed to outsiders. the neo-wicca you all know and hate is an amalgam of new age thought and outer court wicca, which occurred in the 70s when the hippy movement met the Wiccan religion which was migrating to the States at the time. This is to ALL pagans, Witches, Wiccans, folk magicians, occultists etc know your history before you have an opinion. “A fool is known by his speech, and a wise man by silence.” — Pythagoras I only say this to you as someone who needed a good slice of humble pie myself at one time.

I just wanted to talk about how spamton's complex character and personality is generally greatly written making him very special character, as promised in last ask

When first encountering, hes only shown as a silly weirdo Trying to scam kris, but after you enter his shop (Which not everyone did while their gameplay) youre introduced to his darked side... Hes a lonely and desperate man, with very impulsive decisions and with his mind fixated on strange robot in queen's basement, the feeling around spamton immedietly changes from funny haha meme scammer to "oh my God. He is NOT ok" but Even with such weird and uncanny atmosphere, spamton still tries to be hopeful and funny, example the famous KEYGEN bit where he's parodying youtube poop video, or how generally hes generally making jokes relating to his possible Trauma (i wanna talk about that later possibly too. Special interest moment) or When he's Talking about freedom and heaven, as much as it all sounds concerning, i think he shows euphoria and hope (Which is more sad to think about after we later see how he ends up)

Thats what make him So special i think!!! Hes scary, hes probably sad alot too, but hes also hopeful!! He has so many dreams he wants to accomplish!! Even if its shown trought being absurdly desperate and strange, spamton hopes, he has good hopes, which WE know he doesnt achieve in the end, but he believes his life can get better, he never gave up, and kept going till the very end (and what he did with kris wasnt good btw, what i mean here is that hes just very hopeful and believes hes going to have better future, not choosing good ways to achieve it thought) and i think toby fox did generally amazing job making spamton character

Hello again! As for an identifier, I have seen anons use an emoji symbol as a way of identifying themself, you could use one! Any is good.

Something that’s notable about Spamton’s character is that he is almost entirely skippable: if you defeat him on the first fight, he will complain about how rude the player is and leave for the rest of the game, therefore locking his story out. It’s very interesting that the only way to proceed with his arc is to accept his deal and show him mercy!

So, yes, if all the player did was defeat him and move on, the player would simply see him as another weird quirk and not think much else of it. They would be missing out on his story. While the notion that he’s purely comic relief is blatantly false, I can’t say it comes from nowhere, people who only defeat him and move on probably do think that.

The shop isn’t where everything begins to unravel, it’s actually earlier on, first in the alley when you see a poster of “BIG SHOT AUTOS” where Spamton’s face from his better days can be seen.

And shortly after meeting Spamton you can also mention his name to the Addisons, their responses vary and some simply don’t have any lines programmed.

The encounters in his shop are probably the closest you can get to knowing Spamton as a person (outside of NEO), and here is definitely something deeply wrong with this man. At one point he shuts down and appears to be taken over by a different entity, asking if anyone can hear “them”. Asking him about the Knight causes him to glitch out and the option is replaced with “friends”. He also seems to shut down at the mention of Mike.

Both the shop itself and his sprite in the shop have an uncanny feel and look to them, and the “exit” button is replaced with “RUN AWAY”, heightening the fear the player and/or Kris feels around Spamton. Sure, he’s funny, but he’s also deeply unsettling, and Toby does such a good job at balancing out these aspects of his character.

That ending of the NEO battle when he’s so happy the strings are finally being cut, then all goes silent and he flops motionless to the floor, is one of the most jarring things Toby has ever created. It doesn’t help that it drags on for a relatively long time, so you’re forced to look at the “corpse” on the ground there.

He might seem hopeful, but I think it’s more desperation than anything. He is definitely stubborn and determined to reach NEO at all costs, in such a desperate way that he’s willing to do anything for it.

What do you mean by “good” hopes? As in, morally good? I would say his hopes are rather selfish, but understandable otherwise. He only ever wanted to be free, and was willing to cheat, lie and manipulate to get his way to freedom. As a failed salesman and overall unpleasant person, that’s the route he decided to take rather than seek better, safer alternatives that wouldn’t further damage his reputation.

But...Well, it’s perfectly understandable to feel sympathy for him. When he’s written that way, and you know his backstory, you almost just want to give him a hug, and it can be rather disarming which is why it’s so important to look back at the canon source and analyze his canon behaviors, not what fanon says he should act like. One can feel great sympathy and understand that what he did was not good.

He needs a break. Some reprieve. He gets consequence for his malicious actions, but no closure for his want of freedom.

So humans this here is a good and interesting point, so far each part of the intro has linked to one EP, the running through town, the running through the forest, Crazy Bridges, Neo at the table and So forth. What then is the Burning Book?

I first think the burning of the book is meant to be team RWBY and Jaune deciding to say screw it regarding following the narrative of the fairytale and doing their own thing and finding their own solution.

Perhaps JWBY comes across the literary book or something.

Ever After's world is about the never-ending cycle, the players may change a little along the way, but they're ultimately doing the same things.

That works for them. But Ruby and company aren't afterans. they need to do something different, HOWEVER

Jaune is based on Joan of Arc, who gets burned at the stake, as Jaune IS A PART OF THE FAIRYTALE, the book could mean him, this also explains the other scene we see and also fulfills the death of all of JNPR the same way their fairytale counterparts are killed, but that's a little nuts, I don't think Jaune will die, not here.

How Does the Time Travel Theory Play Here? as some of you know one bandwagon I've jumped on is the concept of RWBY time travel. As seen in the Everafter time travel is something the writers want so we must see where it can fit in, as CRWBY have told us they want to show Ozpins Death, among other V3 events It is most likely that RWBY will be spat out of the tree somewhere in beacon during V3 and V10 is about them making their way back to the Present, perhaps picking up some relics before Salem and Cinder on their way. the are many versions of the V3 time travel theory and the one I Prefer is that V10 will switch between the 1-2-RWBY crew and the rest of the cast in Vacuo, we watch both sides until eventually epic split scene and we join the 2 plots together Volume ends ect. ect.

SO HOW DOES THAT LINE UP WITH BIG BURNY BOOK!!?

I think the book represents the end of Alyx's story. CRWBY (or eddy) said this was a short volume, a quick deviation. The book represents Lewis, and Alyx's relations, and Ruby will find it all out during her little trip to the tree. thus closing the book on the fairytale, another footnote that team RWBY will discuss upon their victory in however many volumes we go for, oh btw this lot was real, and whatever.

The burning night will be whatever the end of Jaune's white rabbit arc will be, the acceptace he cant save them all.

as for the other scenes, I'm not sure just yet.
