Man, there’s something about DND/RPGs and their form of storytelling that just gets me. Never in my life consuming any other form of media have I ever been as invested as I was tonight (except with other episodes of critical role lol). I was yelling out loud, grabbing and squeezing various pillows/blankets, pulling at my hair, contorting myself into various positions due to stress, etc. And I think there’s just something about RPGs where you don’t know what’s going to happen AND the players don’t know what’s going to happen and it’s all down to the roll of a dice and you’re all in it together and man I just get so invested, and I just love it. Such a cool way to tell stories.
