i don't understand why i am stressing myself SO much about getting into a prestigious uni. i know for a fact i would be so extremely miserable at an ivy league because i despise rich pretentious spoiled privileged private schoolers so much that it makes me physically ill with rage. i also know that because of my good grades and like idk pretty good ecs? like i think theyre unique enough and ''impressive'' enough or whatever so logistically i will get into a good uni if i apply to a wide enough spread of them. however i am still upset

trust has to be built and honestly qstudios hasnt dont much to try and build it after we found out about the issues within the company. if anything they just lose it more and more as more admins share their experiences and we continuously fail to see any real changes.

nancy doesnt say anything, hoping that if she doesnt respond then barb will drop the subject, but she knows she has a point. nancy had been lying before, she does pay attention to you two.

not in a creepy or judgmental way, but of course shes paid attention to you and jonathan. how could she not? the two of you were like this inseparable pair of endearing grandparents. always bickering and yet always holding each others hands through it all.

nancy thinks its sweet, in a way. to have someone care about a person so much and with such devotion. to be taken care of. it was obvious, even to nancy, that the two of you really loved each other.

its also why she kept her distance from you two, though. nancy felt like there was never any room in your little planet together, but she didnt mind. she had barb, steve harrington winked at her last week; she was doing fine.

but when nancy began hanging around you and jonathan because barb went missing, she started to fear that there really was no room for her on the planet you guys inhabited. she always felt three steps behind in the conversations with you and jonathan. the two of you had long perfected an unspoken language and nancy was helpless in deciphering it.

but she had to push down the uncertainty to find barb. thats all nancy cared about, even if sometimes jonathan looked at her like she was someone other than perfect nancy wheeler. like he was interested in her intelligence rather than her beauty.

it was nice. really nice.

no one had ever taken her seriously before.

but then nancy would see you in the background, hovering over jonathans shoulder as you always have done, and she’d feel like shit afterwards.

nancy knows you love jonathan, and the way he looks at you when you arent looking at him, she cant deny that he loves you, too.

what she cant figure out, however, is the capacity of love between you and him. despite days of being around you two, seeing all your interactions and small gestures and nicknames and adoration between you, nancy cant figure out if its romantic or something else.

and after watching you and jonathan for a few days, nancy concludes that you guys dont seem to know whats between you either. theres a thin line that hangs over you and jonathan. a thread of almost thats so precariously thin.

and nancy doesnt want to be the one that severs it.

so when she gets paired with you in the shed that night at the school to find will and barb, nancy takes her only opportunity to reassure you that shes not a threat. nancy isnt an idiot, shes seen the way you look at her after jonathan has done something kind towards her.

“i dont want to intrude.” nancy tells you, with all the sincerity and truth she can offer. she really, truly doesnt want to step over the line with jonathan. she understands that hes yours and youre his in a way that she may not ever fully know. but she still respects it.

nancy wants to be your friend.

but she also wants jonathans understanding of her, too.

its a dangerous and blurry and confusing thing.

and sometimes nancy is terrified she’ll fuck it up, hurt everyone in the process, but shes also been perfect her entire life.

nancy wheeler understands that selfishness is not inherently wrong, but every time shes selfish, the people she loves the most get hurt.

thats one thing barb taught her.

nancy refuses to hurt anyone else, especially someone as selfless as you, as genuine as jonathan, and as sincere as steve.

none of you deserve it, so nancy bites her tongue and goes to parties and makes sure to always leave a few inches of space between her and jonathan.

I think you’re a good writer already! Not to be cliche, but keep practicing! There’s a reason why that advice is said so often lol

For me, the way my brain works is by learning what not to do. KrimsonRogue’s book reviews on youtube are spectacular (and funny). He’s taught me a lot about what makes a good story and character.

As for the technical aspect of writing, develop a love for and understanding of words! When using verbs and adjectives, put thought behind their meanings and implications. I once saw a guy write:

“He tripped on the stairs and impaled his leg, then got back up and kept running.”

First of all, they’re stairs. Assuming he hit the middle part, he didn’t impale his leg. Being impaled is a specific kind of injury that doesn’t describe what happened there. Maybe he hit the corner of the stair and it dug into his skin? If so, that detail should be mentioned, but I still wouldn’t consider impale to be appropriate. Also… him getting right up and running again is just silly. Let’s be real here.

Try to avoid using things like ‘angrily said’ or ‘sadly said’. Nope nope. Instead, try to use ‘grumbled, hissed, etc.’ and ‘murmured, lamented, pleaded’

There are exceptions to that rule, I think. ‘Softly said’ is common and describes the emotion just fine. You can also use ‘he said, his voice terse’ just don’t rely on that too much. It’s okay to use ‘said’! But again, dont rely on it. This also plays into the rule of not using too many adjectives. You don’t need to describe the color of her eyes and her delicate features all at once.

On that subject, instead of flat out telling us what she’s wearing or what she looks like, use actions to tell us!

Instead of “she wore long, jangly earrings”

Try “her earrings brushed against her jawline as she bent over.” Or “she shook her head, making her earrings jingle.”

This goes for everything! Show, not tell. Sometimes it’s necessary to just tell, I think. But as you focus on this subject more, you’ll learn when to break the rules lol

Ok so, each paragraph has a structure! Here’s one of my fav thoughts on that subject ⬇️

That has helped me so much!! It’ll get easier the more you pay attention to this, to the point where it becomes second nature. And editing afterwards also helps.

On the subject of editing, try to not edit as you write, resist that urge

For a while, I just collected metaphors and similes I liked. Creating them on my own became easier, though. You can play with already existing metaphors ofc. But think of the emotion you want to convey and how you’d experience it. When you’re stressed, do you connect with the idea that the world is on your shoulders? When you’re mad, how does that manifest? Like a fire in your gut, or like a slow spreading poison injected into your veins? How would it go for your character’s personality? I like to add physical reactions on top of that, another way you can show not tell.

I recommend looking into passive vs active voice! That’s something I still struggle with tbh. But writing actively makes your story clearer.

Try not to use auxiliary verbs too often! Instead of “she could see him gasp.” Try: “she saw him gasp” or even better: “he gasped”

After rewatching sonic prime alot of times i can finally give my honest reveal:

Season 3 really dissapointing

S1 and S2 were really great tho!

S1: "2nd fav. season" (don't got much to say abt it 🙃)

- sonic his charactertisation felt kinda weird, he ignored his friends and is impulsive to the max

- sonic realising what he has done was kinda sad

- nine was AWESOME

S2: "fav. season"

- i liked the aspect of sonic going on a chase through the shatterverse to collect the shards

- the pirates were ASSHOLES!

- forest part never got me hooked so much

- good fights not too many and the pace went well (for me)

- CHAOS SONIC THE SILLY ❤️

- i wanted more chaos sonic he was a dark mirror of sonic himself and it was really intersting

- Once again nine was a fucking badass

- the betrayel was executed well ig

Sonic was really ignorant to nine but nine got his own faults too

But the line: "like the real tails would, I am REAL!" was so raw and the pain i can only imagine nine felt in that moment...

S3: "least fav. season ofcourse"

- i enjoyed evil tails very much

- episode 1 was fantastic but shadow being pulled out of the picture was bullshit

I also wanted a longer reaction to the betrayel of nine, i saw a comic dub of sonic having a panic attack. Now i know that is far too many of emotions for sonic to be allowed, but atleast they could've showed some tears and panic

- the fight episodes got bland real fast.

Just fighting the same ol' robots again, they get defeated, nine repairs them, the same again

- i did like episode 6 tbh...

The fight of the iconic duo and later the iconic trio was my favo fight in the season

Shadow rescuing sonic was beautiful and i LOVED it very much

BUT! sonic should've had more emotion to seeing his friend again.

That cliffhanger was totally unnecessary and we know now that is just a symbol for sonic and his friends running into a brand new adventure

- voice acting was fucking awesome!

he is up there in my top 3 VA for sonic with @snapscube sonic aka penny parker and jason griffith (1st: penny sonic, 2nd: devon sonic, 3d: jason sonic)

he has all the talent and passion, emotion for the voice and it felt like i actually heared sonic himself)

You don't have to understand, but I'll elaborate to help you out here. I did commissions once, back before the teases when I wrote stories. It wasn't fun, and the content was not great. Once money and expectation enters the equation I lose most of my motivation. Nothing feels natural when those rails are in place, and tickling to me is a very natural flowing thing.

With the teases, my intent has been to remove the barrier to entry. So much of the tickling in the tickling community happens behind closed doors and entry is only permitted by either those who have a social advantage or when money enters the equation. I constantly get people trying to reach out with an intent to get me behind the closed doors so they can plant their flag and have unlimited access to me. I don't work that way. I wanted my tickles to be out in the open for anyone to jump in without any pretense. And it also adds the flavor of this being like a tickle convention where people can dip in and watch the fun.

That means my work is incompatible with commissions and a formal request line. I'm not going to weigh someone paying for a tease against someone who isn't. I'm not going to have slots where people will be discouraged at the sight because they couldn't be there at the right time. And I don't want to invite people to game the system or constantly park themselves in the slots as I've seen with so many tickle artists.

I know that's frustrating for a lot of people, and obviously frustrated you enough to lash out. I don't take exception if the way I do things is a turnoff for you, but I'm not going to change how I run my page. I don't care if I have thousands of followers or the tiny handful I had for a long time. This is how I do things and it makes me immensely happy to write teases for absolutely anyone who sends them in with zero commitment, barrier, or attachment. Benny:"so you telling me that u went all over mojave just to find me and you are scared to ask bartender for nukacola?" He will tease you for it, and be confused, like??? Curier is so strong and smart why are they so shy??? But Beni boi likes to talk so no problem he can easly talk to people if Coureir cant.

Arcade:"uhh sure?okay?" I feel like He was shy too when he was younger so he can relate. He probably still sometimes stresses before Talking to somone for first time, but its not that bad. He will probably think that Courier is scared of people due to past or something so he wont bring this topic up(even if they are just shy without reason)

Vuples:"if you are too scared to order a drink how are you going bring pride to Legion" if Courier gives him puppy eyes/accualy feel sad, he will loudly sign and order the drink for them. After that he will try to "train them out of this behiviour" (thats vulpes, dont expect anything wholesome) but if it really upsets Courier he will just silently hate it, but wont bring it into conversations

Raul:"yeah sure boss" he had younger sister okay, he knows how to behave like normal human being. He completly understands the idea of being too shy to do something. He will give them good words and support, but if somestuff really stressed them out hes not going to try to convince them. He would feel bad

Boone: "honey please its not that difficult" he will do it if Courier pays him in hugs later. In NCR military theres no people as shy as them. But its good becasue it makes Courier unique. Also how did Courier survive for such long time out in Mojave???(you'll never find out boone >:3)

Ulysses:"bruh you literally bombed whole City wym bestie"(for context when I played his dlc first time my English wasnt the best and I didnt completly understood what Ulysses was saing and I though that Courier bombed the Devide and Ulysses was his ex bf/Ex friend. also a thing that annoys me is the fact that they still have ads and shit on episodes, they have sponsorships. and it's not weird, every single podcast with a patreon I listen to has that (dndads, which they actually made a reference to once in an intro, naddpod) but they're the only ones that have activity on patreon and NO activity on main feed. it's weird!

and those podcasts manage to have active main campaigns while also having successful patreons! i understand that for the boys it's like a main job and so the pressure to have it pay off is high. but it's just not gonna if they move to patreon completely. it never works! I've seen people try so many times and it never works because patreon just doesn't work like that. it literally advertises itself as a place for exclusive content and it ain't exclusive if it's The Only thing that exists.

anyway I think they should have prioritized getting wanderlust out first (if they make it like the suckening I swear to fucking god I'll explode), THEN doing a patreon mini-campaign and then coming back with riptide. or better yet, posting the mini campaign along with riptide coming back to lure people in. would work on me if patreon wasn't locked away from regionally

what relevance does gladstone have in the comics? like. in terms of relations, plots, character in generalll because i dont know much in generals

Uhmmmmmm Well he's Donald's super lucky cousin that's his main thing. His 3 main consistent traits are 1. SUPER LUCKY probably most important one 2. Lazy cuz of said luck. this is both just because of the nature of living his whole life lucky but also in a lot of comics his luck will punish him for working so like. #sucks 3. Egotistical as fuck.

the intricacies of his personality kind of depends on who's writing him my favorite kind is when he's an asshole to donald but mostly just kind of clueless and unaware. his ass does not pay attention. esp when you can't really tell if he's purposely pushing Donald's buttons or was just made in a lab to specifically piss him off. I think it's both tbh.

^ one of my favorite examples. He's really funny. I mostly see this in Barks comics and stuff obviously inspired by him.

like it's just a really good phenomenon. He's mostly a character who is a hindrance to Donald but in which way depends on the plot. I've noticed a sort of cycle where it's like. Donald doesn't like Gladstone cuz Gladstone is an ass to him (understandable), but even if Gladstone is not actively trying to piss him off and just existing Donald will usually be mean to him (both cuz Gladstone is an ass but also his luck pisses him off soooo much), which causes Gladstone to be annoyed back and purposely piss him off. What if both of you stopped. freaks. this is just kind of Donald's nature tbh but this isn't about him.

^ that's just like. my favorite interpretation. there are so many versions of these characters cuz of all the different writers and I usually just take my favorite parts of the different version, but barks is def my fave just purely 1 version of gladstone wise. Rosa Gladstone is usually just an asshole for no reason and a really big one. It's kind of funny. I don't have it on me but there's one comic where he specifically walks ontop of Donald and uses his hat to clean his feet for no reason. what a freak.

you can tell it's Rosa Gladstone by that he looks kind of gay. sorry I didn't say that. Rosa's artstyle is really distinct tho lol, sometimes he has blonde hair it depends on who colored it (inking and coloring are done seperately. this is also why some comics have different versions of the same story with different colors)

uhm the 3rd most well known version of gladstone is topolino gladstone I don't really have much to say abt him. he's much nicer than other version usually. there's versions within topolino cuz topolino is like. a bigger thing. rather than just a single writer. I kind of got off track. there's also dt17 gladstone but. again I got off track.

uhmm.. the three main kind of stories gladstone appears in are. 1. Gladstone centric. 2. hinderance to Donald 3. just kind of there because the whole Duck family is there. then there's categories within those. also dd comics loveee reusing plots btw this is why they're so easily to put into catergorie

gladstone centric comics usually center around either him 1. getting sad about his luck cuz people exploit him or don't like him cuz of it 2. he either loses his luck or THINKS he loses his luck and freaks out because of it. these get kind of repetitive but I like how they explore his relationship to his luck 3. who up exploiting the golden goose. other characters love taking advantage of his luck and it always blows up in their face cuz his luck serves him and only him. lol. lmao.

hinderance to donald comics are uhm. big category and includes most of his apperances. stuff includes like 1. donald is in a competition and it turns out gladstone is also in it. 2. kind of the same as b4 but there's a lot of stories where it's specifically a raffle??? 3. donald and gladstone fight over daisy. I hate these comics. a lot. they're often just really misogynistic... if I can get away with it I try and read them as if Gladstone is just kind of odd and one of his only friends happen to be his cousin's girlfriend. usually makes the stories much better LOL. I don't really like. I hate the concept of them fighting over her and the way she's written where she's two timing them basically. but also sometimes they have good parts in them... like the one where it turns out gladstone has written really sappy love letters to daisy. I like when he's sappy it' something that comes up sometimes #SAPPYFUCK. 4. scrooge makes them compete in something usually a business cuz they're his inheritors but he doesn't want either of them to have his money cuz he thinks they'll waste it. often they both technically lose or gladstone wins but either he doesn't want to do whatever scrooge wants him to do afterwards or scrooge gets scared cuz gladstone's luck can outpass him in riches lol. gladstone publishing is named after one of these stories where scrooge gets scared and so gives him a comic publishing comic cuz "who can get rich through comics?" it's a little 4th wall break that I find funny.

Ask Game: How about bio dad might for Bakugo?

1- he puts him up for adoption like i do this ask- i kid i kid

lets try to make this fun, hmm

1- Ok so Toshinori gets Masaru pregnant (oh my god he's a support designer not unlike David. Toshi you can't keep doing this.) and the baby just has a boosted version of Masaru's tiny sparking palms, big explosion palms. because ofa i guess. Except, Masaru is like 'i dont think i can handle being All Might's lover publicly but also i don't think i can handle being a single parent' so when Mitsuki is like Interested he just jumps on that immediately. Toshi figures the baby is safer with a normal couple, pays child support and gets sent pictures occasionally, but doesn't want to impose any more, tho tbh both of the bakugous would be fine if he did.

2- Katsuki has no idea btw. He was told once that Mitsuki was actually his step mom and he didn't believe it. Both his parents figured he didn't need a bigger ego and didn't tell him the truth but did have a lot of fun giggling over getting him All Might merch. This sounds funny now but oh man will it contribute to issues once he knows the truth-

3- speaking of issues, Toshinori does recognize the kid in the slime that the previous kid in the slime is rescuing. he doesn't say anything, but he's extremely glad that this perfect worthy successor kid happened to also save his son. In a panic of losing someone he's never really had, Toshi asks Masaru if he could meet Katsuki in person, maybe start visiting. They and Mitsuki discuss it (complete with injury reveal) and decide why not, though continue to keep his identity a secret. So Toshi spends three hours a day as All Might, and the rest of his time is focused on training Izuku, and in rare breaks from that, hanging out with the Bakugous. Katsuki takes a month before he really believes this guy is who his parents say he is, but he decides the training tips aren't half bad- for a toothpick coughing up gallons of blood every day. For his own part, Toshinori doesn't really pick up anything amiss yet in the family- remember at this point, Katsuki has started to leave Izuku alone, and wouldn't mention him to Toshi anyway. Busy with training and not getting into trouble, none of the more questionable of Mitsuki's and Masaru's parenting choices would be causing much issue or be obvious then.

4- And then UA starts, and on the first day, Toshi watches behind a building as his son attacks his successor, and is as surprised as he is unhappy. but he's not sure how to bring it up, or to fix anything. So he just tries bridging things as All Might for Izuku and as Yagi-san for Katsuki, which... is a process, and also crazy that none of the students realize anything is up there. But so it goes. highlights of things that actually get better because of this: at one point, as Katsuki tells Yagi-san that its a problem because Deku is supposed to be quirkless, Yagi tells him that he's quirkless. Based on his parents expression, Katsuki assumes they didn't know either, but it doesnt make any sense because Yagi isn't annoying and creepy and weak like Deku, he's good at giving hero advice and- oh. oh katuski doesn't like that realization and shoves it down deeper, but also doesn't bite as much about it. Also, Katsuki admits how awful All Might giving him the medal at the SF was for him, and Yagi is very quiet. All Might apoligizes to him the next day.

highlight of something that is so much worse: the final exam.

5- SO THE REVEAL its gotta be at kamino right. The Idiot Rescue Squad has succeeded and are watching the news, and see... All Might lose power on camera. Izuku is already basically in tears, but at the sight, Katsuki reacts by going "OTHER DAD???" which shocks Izuku out of feeling anything else but "WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL HIM???"

there's a lot of shocked screaming. Iida can't even say anything and Kirishima is on the ground giving up trying to understand as Katsuki and Izuku realize how they're both connected to All Might.

The police finally come help take the kids home. No one dares breathe too loudly or text anyone, afraid of another explosion of conversation like that. For his part, Katsuki is going to shake answers out of Toshi as soon as he steps into the house, no attempting to hide behind Aizawa will make it better. Once that... ordeal of a visit and explanation is done, Toshi wearily suggests he have the conversation with the Midoriyas alone. Aizawa looks at the Bakugos, looks at Toshinori, and is like 'oh hell no im not missing this for the world. lets go round two'

i understand that "cozy" genre fiction is really hot right now, as is this kind of... quirky, cozy-adjacent genre fiction. you know the kind where the characters are all stuff like "a big strong fighter... WHO KNITS"

i know these are popular and i know people seem to really like them but you couldn't pay me to read one lol. i'm sure they're all lovely but when i read that blurb on the back, if it seems to be really reveling in how this spaceship full of misfits are gonna learn to be a found family, im gonna gag!! and then put the book back on the shelf!!

there was a book i was interested in reading, but i saw a different blurb online for it where it had this same sort of tone, and i seriously reconsidered if i wanted to buy it!!! (the bookstore didnt have a copy anyway so it didn't matter)

i dont really want to read books that are so smug about how they're subverting genre expectations, because it makes me feel... well, first of all, condescended to. like they think i cant bear the stress of any actual conflict, and also like the idea of a found family is a revolutionary new idea that no one has ever thought of before.

but second of all, why are you advertising this book based on how its not like the other girls, instead of just on why its like... good. And also why are your ideas for making it Different so booooriiiiiiing..... "oh what if it was cute and fanficky? what if everyone talked like a tumblr post? what if everything was Nice and everyone loved each other immediately and forever?" what if they all fucked nasty and died. what if that.

tbh the problem isnt even that i pick up these books and go "this reads like a coffeeshop au of a fandom im not in", so much as it is that like. i have read fanfic that was better than this book i bought for $18. and fanfic is free!

i have a job i go to. as consciousness, i don't need to do anything or desire anything because all is now. consciousness and now are the only existing things. however i occupy a human body. you can meditate all fucking day but it will not change the fact that you are experiencing the human condition. ive come to understand this after studying nd for awhile. people who have hardly been studying non dualism will find it weird. you spend so much time understanding that all that appears outside of you is an illusion. they won't understand that part yet. that's fine. it literally places your whole understanding of reality upside down. so me as consciousness doesn't have to worry about anything but that doesn't prevent me from my human responsibilities. when they take their exam or when i clock in, they know they are actually consciousness and all is an illusion besides them so why fear an exam they conjured? sure "you" can study but you as consciousness aren't doing anything but being. by existing you are being whether you choose to actively participate in the illusion or not.

do you think it’s still possible that eungyeol didn’t change yichan’s fate? I was waiting all of ep 12 for some signs of the trauma affecting his hearing but there was nothing of that sort so now I’m feeling. very unsure and scared to watch the rest. also while I’m on ep 12 I thought it just in general had some weird twists. like them completely walking back on eungyeol confessing that he is yichan’s son instead of leaving it ambitious for yichan which I feel like would be much more interesting for their dynamic. and also idk I like that yichan misses cheongah but her blowing up at him like that felt a little sudden and out of nowhere as a writing choice. she’s hurt but before it was established within the show that she wants to be friends with yichan even if he doesn’t like her back so this sudden change without explanation was strange. and it could maybe make sense…. if they spent more time on cheongah. the sprinklers of her instead of a normal amount of screen time really are. frustrating

i dont think eungyeol is gonna be able to change his father's fate because his hearing loss is gonna be a canon event (it better be or else im gonna do something drastic) as i mentioned before i think yichan will lose his hearing progressively rather than immediately. episode 12 of any kdrama can be a turning point for the show because it either goes okay and makes sense or it is a mess and feels like a totally different show lmao akdbdk

and i feel like they made cheongah a side character that will only have screentime if it is shared with either eungyeol yichan and even eunyu which sucks so bad like ?? we have barely seen her on her own, this is supposed to be a drama that celebrates deaf people and instead they got the only deaf character being miserable all.the.damn.time. turning her into some kind of martyr... im kinda tired of it tbh

and i think the lack of (meaningful) screentime of cheongah explains why we dont understand her reactions sometimes,, i personally think she was angry at him because he somehow confuses her (and honestly sometimes he confuses me as well) cheongah is a person who has spent most of her life alone and now she has got a friend she happens to like and who doesnt exactly check on her (because he is obsessed with a girl who doesnt even pay attention to him akdbksns and cheongah seems to see it too and is pissed/sad for it she is a teenager after all) and yichan is someone who is popular at some extent so i believe that makes cheongah think he is friends with her because he pities her or wants to look like the great guy who is friends with someone with a "disability" which isnt true at all!! we have clearly seen yichan genuinely wants to be his friend but after everything she is going through i think she doesnt see it that way anymore

i obv dont want to get into specifics and i understand if you dont wanna answer this but i just won a decent sum of money (more money than i have ever made in my life, but that’s mostly because i am disabled and never have had consistent employment) and am getting advice from people to invest it or put it in a hysa or something like that so that i can have some money going forward to live off of. the idea of living off stock market/bank interest money, even just to pay for groceries and internet, makes me feel very bad, as a (still pretty new, which is why i am even coming to you for advice) communist and anti-imperialist, knowing i could give most of this money away to other people i know need it more and keep a little to help pay rent for a few months, but my friends are telling me i should take this opportunity to have some level of stability in my life since i will never be able to work enough to survive nor can i get on govt assistance of any kind right now or any time soon. would this be a total betrayal of my beliefs? is there any even remotely ethical way to handle this situation? hope this makes sense even though i cant get into the specifics and thank you for your time

I think you should do what you want with the money. investing in stocks and such is complicated and risky afaik and I'm just very skeptical of the whole "you should invest it you could increase it by a factor of x". If I were you I'd keep it all while trying to live with the same expenses (and if it's enough donate a bit to my party but that's my situation). I don't think you should worry this much about "betraying" your beliefs. Like don't invest in Raytheon or anything like that obviously but your individual investment is not going to do much realistically. IMO survival comes before ethics, for example if robbing someone is your only way to get by then that's clearly more the fault of the whole context than any individual moral value. Again I'd just save it and use it to have the minimum of a decent life but like. Do what you need to do with it (I am very skeptical of investing doing you any good tbh). There is no overseeing entity judging your choices. Your continued existence as a communist and what you're able to do by continuing to live is worth more than the $50,000 or whatever amount you won being used in an "ethical" way

the bigness of your text, represents the passion in your heart, omg tbh i had this ask in mind during a recent convo on the podcast i cohost with jonah withswords its called creepypasta book club everyone should go listen to it now if you dont, i assume you do person sending me this, now that im done shrilling on this ask theres so much amazing access to tools! anything you want to tell theres like, ways to tell it, tho on the other hand its a fair bit harder to find tutorials on things,everything is like behind pay walls and boy (gender inclusive)clubs, in a post unfiction forum world all the old heads have scattered to the wind and arnt keeping house so you have a lot of like, poor form, theres a lack of understanding of like legacy, whats true about writing like that you gotta read books, is true for making horror and consuming horror, like a single project becomes peoples like Fandom Identity and thats kind of disagreeable, though i suppose thats not terribly new either none of these problems are, tho it is annoying that people are like remembering creepypastas rememnering, something that was new just a few years ago like thats so silly, but theres so much out there and the space is like bigger than ever! you can be like gay and tell a gay story you can even be a woman
