So our own Adam V has been languishing a bit. He's asking me not to go too into detail about how he's been feeling recently, which is completely fair. There's the personal emotional reasons, and then there's the political reasons. State of the world and plural Tumblr's got him down.

He doesn't want to front much and he doesn't want to answer the friendly asks that have been sent to his side blog. For the life of me I can't tell if he's been suffering from the overall uptick in anxiety that we've had recently, or if he's been the main cause of it.

Either way my little brother could use some positivity. He's saying wholesome LGBTQ+ stuff would cheer him up quite a bit. I may as well try and find him something. We might do him some artwork as well. Time for Operation: Cheer Up Adam.

#rainbow rocks was an actually really good movie #i cant believe time passed and people just forgot about what is objectively the best movie soundtrack of all time ever #also what's the deal with them making really #really good songs for their villains #like the dazzlings #sure #but also Gloriosa #and eq! twilight?#like im noticing a pattern here #the mane 6's songs are okay #but the villain songs go hard. like. actually.#and on another note #Gloriosa is such a well written character #she comes out of a movie made for 6 year olds #but it's always “we” and never “me” and i think thats a really cool detail #she's so dead set on “I have to protect this with my entire being” and she's a really well written #sympathetic villain #she's not the one dimensional and pure evil characters you come to expect out of a franchise for this audience #and I want more characters like her #text post #mlp #mlp eqg #mlp equestria girls #equestria girls #rainbow rocks

I was scrolling through my old Wattpad account, and I remember I read so many random Aru Shah fanfics on there.

I used to chat with so many random souls, and it was a cute little community.

I haven’t used that account in about 3 years, so it should be no surprise that the people I used to talk to don’t use those accounts either. Wherever you guys are, I hope you guys are happy ❤️

On a happier note, it’s really quite humbling to see what I wrote as a 6/7th grader. I admire my past self’s effort put into writing.

i'm not okay 😭

like, i was sure i'd love it from the preview and it absolutely delivered. why does he sound like that, i want to cry. i had to do so many mundane things today, all while just wanting to scream at the top of my lungs. i'm still processing. i did read a translation earlier, but my brain is still just going brrrr, so i'm not going to go into depth on that right now, but aaaaaaahhh- i like that from a random person's point of view this is going to sound nothing like what my himeru-filled brain is going to do with it. i like the ambiguity. much like himeru, it walks a very interesting line of real and not quite real. i think it suits him that it's written in a way where it's so undefined, generally speaking. makes the contrast of him wanting something more tangible all the more striking and painful :'( also raises the question what that 'clearer outline' is supposed to look like or if he (or anyone?) even knows? i also find the notion that one's 'shape' is created by their perception through others really intersting here.

i'm gonna need to ponder this for a bit longer.
