Welcome home little brother
Obey me x eight little brother reader
Tumblr media
🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🖤🤍🖤🖤🤍🖤🤍being the ninth member of the student council of the RAD is not easy in addition to these tasks also add homework and keeping up good grades if you don't want to end up hanging by Lucifer but it will never be as difficult as being the smallest demon in the house despite you are 1000+ years old your older siblings still see you as a child and some of them are still very protective of you, to them you are still the little boy of the house..
it was morning and you had decided to go down to the kitchen to have breakfast it was seven o'clock and you knew that most likely none of your brothers would be awake but you were wrong
Lucifer: already awake at this hour?
M/N:oh i woke up early and couldn't sleep anymore so i decided to go down for breakfast and go for a ride outside as we don't have RAD today
Lucifer look you up and down but before he could speak your other big brother came in and well he didn't like what he was seeing
Satan: WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU DRESSING LIKE THIS?!
this is how you were dressed: (you were wearing shorts but they didn't show through under the sweatshirt)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
M/N: clothes?
Lucifer: you don't leave the house dressed like that M/N
M/N: you can't command me!
Lucifer and Satan glare at you
Lucifer: are you sure?
M/N: I-I meant, I'm going to change after
Satan: here eat
M/N: thanks
satan gives you a plate of pancakes and you start eating later were you going to see a friend an incubus/succubus of your own age
M/N: I finish I will go now bye!
Lucifer: you have to come back within four hours but first you have to change, you dressed like this you don't leave the house
M/n: ugh…
after changing, you leave the house to see your incubus/succubus friend
incubus/succubus:hey m/n you came
M/n: yea! Let’s go
after some time spent with your friend you had to go home if you didn't want to find the twins to mess around all the circles of hell to find you and by the way it was also lunch time so say goodbye to your friend and come back at home but while you were texting at the table the worst happened..
you were texting with your friend and laughing when one of your brothers notices this
Asmodeus: who do you message with? ooooo!!!, is he/she your boyfriend/girlfriend
a dead silence fell and in less than a second you found all your brothers staring at you with wide eyes
Mammon: are you talking to someone?!
Satan: who the fuck is this jerk! *satan was in his demon form*
Belphie: I want to kill someone..
M/N: since you've been awake!?
Lucifer: M/N give me the phone NOW
M/N: I swear he/she is just a friend!
Lucifer:I. SAID. GIVE. ME. THE. PHONE
you give it to him understanding that if you fight back things could have been worse
Lucifer: You're grounded go to your room
M/N: but-
Lucifer: NO BUT
Belphie: I'll be back in an hour😃🔪
Satan:I'll come with you
in short, being the smallest in the house is not a walk in the park since you are practically seven bodyguards 24/7

3rd anni req 23: [HOST] mephisto / unexpected meeting
ao3 link
note: requested by @whensam! yknow while i was writing this i started thinking more about the actual mechanism of the symbiote and... it'd be kinda fun if it did actually gain its own consciousness as ik grew up? well forget about that for now, here we go!
∎ ∎ ∎ ∎ ∎
It starts with a message from Diavolo on the bulletin board in the entrance hall.
We have a very special guest visiting the R.A.D. for the first time today! Everyone, please be as welcoming as you can!
There’s a slightly more extended notice from the school council below it - clearly the prince wasn’t the one put in charge of the logistics:
Schedules have been adjusted to keep the school less crowded. Please do not raise your voices in the corridors. School rules are in effect as normal. We also ask that Asmodeus’s fans refrain from approaching him for today. No photographs are to be taken.
Students are already beginning to gather around the board when Mephisto passes by it, speculating among themselves about who this 'very special guest' might be. To them, there are only two real possibilities, and both are exciting - either it's a celebrity, or some noble friend of the prince.
Mephisto knows better, which is why he doesn’t bother listening in on their discussion. And so he gets on with the day, barely registering the changes in school routine around him, slowly mulling the whole matter over as the hours tick by.
The school has a new 'that incident' once a week - twice if Professor Baal is perfecting any new brews, and thrice if the Newspaper Club is getting bored - so it's understandable that the rest of the student body has forgotten. No one actually knows what happened at the time, either, so the whole matter's long since left their minds.
The incident in question involves loud crashing from the student council room; some demons who had been passing by at the time recount seeing strange black tendrils clawing at the gaps between the door. There had been a lot of yelling from the council officers within, of course, but Barbatos had come swooping in as soon as things seemed to get violent, and stood by the door shooing any nosy pupils away.
No one involved deigned to comment on what had happened afterwards, and soon enough demons stopped asking. The student council's attendance became rather oddly scattered - even up to now, there hasn't been a day where all seven are in at the same time - and Lord Diavolo had a strange, strained look on his face that persisted for several weeks afterwards.
Something that no one else seems to have noticed is that there is only one human exchange student. Two angels, Solomon, and… who? None of the brothers bring them up, much less Diavolo himself. As far as the rest of the R.A.D. population is concerned, there is no fourth exchange student.
The Newspaper Club knows this isn’t true - that this last student is only staying at the House of Lamentation, and that the brothers’ sparse attendance is because they’ve been staying behind on care duty. They also know they’re correct because Barbatos has issued them a strict warning to not make any information public.
Mephisto, personally, thinks this is a good call, but that doesn’t mean he stops listening. The brothers often share hurried updates with each other in the school corridors, and that’s how he’s been getting updates.
For example, three days after that incident in the council room, the exchange student ate for the first time. The day after that, the exchange student mustered up the courage to venture out of their room. Another two weeks later, Diavolo was finally able to greet them.
They’re odd milestones. They make a lot more sense now that, upon walking into an empty classroom, he finds himself face-to-face with them - and finds out that the student is, in fact, a small child.
“Oh,” He says, a tad uncomfortably, “Hello.”
The exchange student stares up at him with wide, frightened eyes and doesn’t move.
You’re certainly small enough to be a human, he muses. But why do you have a horn? And what are you doing here? Where are your guardians?
“I think you might be lost,” He announces. “I’d better—”
He moves a little too quickly, a little too far towards her - she lets out a sharp wail, and some great dark thing seems to rip straight out her skin and lunge at his face. He leaps backwards, just fast enough to feel the thing brush the very tip of his nose, and suddenly it retracts, and the child is staring at him as if nothing happened at all.
“Okay,” He mutters, taking another step back for good measure. “Got it. My bad.”
That would explain what those demons saw that day. Mephisto takes a deep breath and analyses the situation.
The best course of action might be to simply leave and find one of the brothers. He isn’t going to get anywhere if she tries to kill him every time he gets too close. But it doesn’t feel right to just leave her standing here, either…
He crouches down slowly, so that they’re on eye level with each other. “Who looks after you?”
She blinks at him, then says, deceptively clearly, “Mammon.”
He resists the urge to chuckle. The response is so automatic and firm that it can only have been taught. “Well, sweetheart, do you know where he is?”
“No.”
“What are you doing here?”
“Waiting.”
“For Mammon?”
“No.”
“Who, then?”
She’s quiet for a moment. Then she says, stumbling, “S-sol…o-lo-mon.”
“Solomon,” He repeats, already digging around in his pocket for his phone. “Alright, just hold on a minute.”
He hovers over Solomon’s Devilgram profile for a moment, then hits call. The phone rings for a good few minutes - he imagines the sorcerer picking up his D.D.D. and looking incredulously at the name - before finally connecting.
“What do you want?”
“Do you think you might have forgotten something?” He asks.
A long, suspicious silence. “...what are you talking abo— oh, blast!”
There’s some fumbling on the other end, then some frantic, muffled conversation. After a moment, Solomon groans loudly and says, “I’m— alright, I’m kind of tied up here. Could… could you just watch her for me?”
“Hmm. You don’t want me to call someone?”
“I’m in trouble if anyone finds out I left her on her own,” Solomon sighs. “It was only supposed to be for a moment. Look, it hasn’t been that long, and I’ll be done soon, so just look after her for a bit… please.”
“Sure, sure.” He runs a hand through his hair, then exhales. “And I don’t suppose you know why she shoots dark matter out of her skin when—”
“—long story, and, quite frankly, none of your business.”
“Ouch.”
Solomon is quiet for a while. There’s some more movement on the other end, and then he says shortly, “I really have to go. I’ll owe you a favour, alright? Thanks.”
The call disconnects before Mephisto can ask why Solomon trusts him to do this. In hindsight, maybe it’s better if he doesn’t know the answer to that.
He realises that he also forgot to ask for his new charge’s name. The young exchange student is still standing there, eyeing him warily.
“...alright,” He says cheerfully, and sits down across from her. “That was your friend Solomon on the phone. Looks like I’ll be looking after you for the moment. I’ll just stay here, okay?”
She hums quietly. After a moment, she copies him and sits down as well.
“Is this your first day at school?” He asks. “Are you having fun?”
She nods, then begins to fiddle anxiously with the ribbon around her neck. The little mimic-uniform she’s wearing definitely looks like Asmodeus’s handiwork. He’s fairly sure he saw Satan getting those shoes out in town last week. Must be custom - the make certainly doesn’t look cheap, either.
Just as he thinks that, the kid pulls a little too hard on her ribbon and accidentally unravels the bow. She looks down at it in dismay, then up at him imploringly.
“Do you need me to fix that?” He asks, amused. When she nods again, he slowly holds out his hands. “Come here.”
He lets her get up and make her way over in her own time. She pauses a few paces away, then abruptly skitters forward, practically putting her face right in his.
“Oh, hello.” Is it just him, or does the little horn poking out of her hair look smaller now? “Alright, here you go.”
He decides to tie the ribbon into a double knot this time. It’s a little less pretty than the fancy bow, but it should be more secure this way.
As he works, he asks, “What’s your name, sweetheart?”
She hesitates, then leans in a little closer and whispers something in his ear. Mephisto nods slowly. “Good name. Hello, IK. I’m Mephisto.”
“Hello… Me-phis-to.”
“That’s right. Good job.” He finishes the new bow. “So Mammon looks after you?”
“Mm.”
“And who do I call when you’re lost?”
“Lucifer.”
Another reply so quick that it must have been learnt. He wonders if there’s one for each brother as long as he asks the right question. “Is that what I should do right now?”
IK shakes her head. “Not lost. Waiting.”
“Hah! Clever girl.” Lucky for Solomon. If she’d said yes, Mephisto probably would have just listened. “Well, let’s be patient, then.”
IK looks around the empty classroom, then frowns. To be fair, there really isn’t anything fun in here for a small child to do. She isn’t exactly old enough for recreational brewing.
Mephisto thinks about it for about one minute, then makes his decision. “Tell you what, sweetheart. You could come back to our clubroom and wait there. You can do some colouring.”
“Colouring?” IK repeats, and looks rather pleased. Then she deflates. “...Solo-mon said wait here.”
“You heard him on the phone, didn’t you? I’m sure he won’t mind.”
IK thinks about it for a while. Then she nods solemnly.
“Alright!” He gets (slowly) to his feet and indicates for her to follow him out into the hall. “We’re just upstairs. Think you can make it up on your own?”
“Bepphie carries me,” She says solemnly, reaching up and grabbing the hem of his jacket. “Stairs are too tall. Legs too small.”
“Wise words,” He agrees. “Shall I carry you up, then, sweetheart?”
“...okay.”
To say Alecto looks surprised when he shows up at the door with a child in his arms is an understatement. She opens her mouth to ask with her usual bemused conviction, then suddenly seems to become hyper-aware of the situation, and instead silently ushers Mephisto inside.
He carefully sits IK down at a desk, letting her get used to the others at her own pace, and pretends not to be too smug when he’s the only one who can approach the table without her tensing up. Unfortunately, it takes Wiz about ten minutes to win her approval, and within half an hour, Mephisto’s already fairly sure that he’s only third-favourite now.
Astaroth has kept himself very determinedly in the corner ever since they came in. If Mephisto didn’t know better, he’d say his good friend was scared.
In any case, it takes some spirited encouragement from Alecto to get Astaroth to finally roll himself closer. He holds himself a little like a robot the whole time, but he lets IK patter curiously around his wheelchair without a word. He only speaks to softly warn her about getting her fingers stuck when she attempts to poke her hands through the spokes.
They have paper due for print next week, but finishing their reports is kind of the last thing on their mind right now. When IK gets tired of regular colouring, Wiz starts pulling puzzle after puzzle out of her designated folder; it’s short work for the rest of them, accustomed as they are to her usual tricks, but working as a five around the table is a new novelty. Even if a lot of the process is just trying to explain complicated words to a child who also doesn’t know any of the words they’re trying to explain them with.
And it is entirely Mephisto’s fault for not noticing his D.D.D. buzzing frantically in his pocket, but he still thinks it’s a bit of an overreaction when several student council officers in a row come crashing into the clubroom. He’d feel bad for Solomon, being at those brothers’ mercy - but, as he finds himself confronted by a rather dishevelled and extremely angry Lucifer, he can only feel bad for himself.
Still... worth it.

Tumblr media
The final confession was on the last day of school — under the cherry blossoms after their graduation ceremony.
Chiyo was on her way home, carrying both her school bag and black certificate tube when a soft breeze blew by. She stopped in her tracks, holding her hair back to prevent it from being whisked up alongside the rain of pink petals. Her gaze followed a few flew toward the sun.
The ceremony went by relatively quickly. They walked the stage, sang the school anthem, then the student council president gave a farewell speech as a representative of the graduating students.
When Chiyo went on stage to receive her diploma, she was surprised to see her father sitting at the back of the gym, amongst the sea of parents with the proudest grin she’s ever seen. He had taken the morning off to be present at this major milestone in his daughter’s life. But alas, money didn’t make itself and the Amari family still needed to eat. So after a few heartfelt words, taking a couple of photos and giving her the tightest hug humanly possible, Chiyo’s father was back in the car on his way to work.
Being a graduate meant she also had a half-day of school. So after seeing her father off, Chiyo spent some time with her friends and classmates. They took pictures with the teachers, signed each other’s yearbooks and spent their last hour or so reminiscing on the past three years they’d spent together. In which Chiyo spent most of her time wiping away her friends’ snot and tears with tissues.
Once the midday mark hit, her classmates said their final goodbyes. Everyone made promises that this wouldn’t be the last time they got together. She then went to go find Nishinoya, catching a glimpse of him and the other graduates in the volleyball gym, giving a few last words of encouragement and advice to their underclassman.
She hesitated at first, but in the end, decided to head home on her own. He was going to come over for dinner anyways and he deserved time to say a proper goodbye to the volleyball team he loved so much.
Chiyo squinted a little, holding a hand against her eyes to block out the glaring sunlight. She thought of her classmates and friends – people she’s grown accustomed to seeing every day. Soon, that routine will change and those people will melt into a distant memory. Maybe they’ll be dug up once or two per year to gather and reminisce over drinks and dinner. But otherwise, they will remain just that — a memory. A memory that’ll contribute to shaping who she’ll become in the future.
She then thought of Nishinoya. Unlike most of her classmates and friends, she’s known him for far longer. Sure, he will probably still drop by for dinner every now and then. But without the excuse of school and tutoring sessions, they probably wouldn’t be able to see each other as often as they used to. Someday, would Nishinoya become nothing but a distant memory as well?
A pain began to swell within her chest.
Chiyo took a deep breath. She was about to shake off those nagging thoughts and continue on her way when a familiar voice suddenly called out to her from behind.
“Hey!”
Chiyo spun around, to see Nishinoya sprinting towards her at full speed with his messenger bag and certificate tube. He stopped in front of her, hunching over with his hands on his knees.
“Yuu?” Her eyes were wide.
“You… You just ran off!” Nishinoya panted, wiping some sweat from his chin. “I thought we were going to your place.”
“For dinner, tonight.” Chiyo raised an eyebrow. “It’s only midday. You can go home, you know.”
“But there’s nothing to do at home,” Nishinoya pouted as he stood up straight, readjusting his messenger bag over his shoulder. “We also don’t have any food. Well, we don’t have any instant noodles but you get the point.”
“My house isn’t a restaurant, Yuu.”
“See, you always say that but you end up feeding me anyways,” Nishinoya grinned cheekily.
“Fine,” heaving a sigh, she turned on her heel and began to walk. “What do you want?”
“Yaki udon!” Nishinoya cheered, following after her with a fist pump.
“Alright, alright,” Chiyo chuckled at his enthusiasm. “Can you pick Hotaru and Kaito up from school then? I wanna clean the house  before dinner.”
“Yeah, of course,” he nodded. “What are we having by the way?”
“Sushi. Dad said he’ll get some on the way home.”
“Oh, is Amari-san coming home early tonight?”
“Yeah,” a small smile grew on her face. “He was at the ceremony too.”
“Oh, I saw! He said hi to me as we were heading back to our classrooms,” he then stretched his arms upwards with a satisfied sigh. “Man, Eguchi-san’s speech was great.”
Chiyo's face fell.
“Especially that part about how life is like a song, except it’s all jumbled up. And graduating is getting the melody straight so we can spend the rest of our lives figuring out the lyrics. It’s such a great, erm…” He snapped his fingers. “What’s the word for that again?”
“Metaphor.”
“Yeah, that!” Nishinoya nodded. “Anyways, it was great! Super inspirational. But I guess that’s the student council prez for you.”
Chiyo’s eyes flickered to the ground. She stayed silent for a moment longer before finally asking, “So, what are your plans now?”
“I told you already, didn’t I?” Nishinoya raised an eyebrow. “I’m gonna keep working at gramps’ bike shop for a while to save up money.”
“I mean your travel plans, dummy.”
“Oh, that!” He laughed. “Right, I haven’t told you where I’ve decided yet. My first destination will be…” He rolled his tongue for a bit to imitate the sound of a drumroll. “... Peru!”
Chiyo dropped her school bag.
“South America?” She stopped and stared at him. “That’s… pretty far.”
“Well, I figured I might as well strike big on my first step, you know?” Nishinoya stopped a little ahead of her, glancing back with a huge grin. “Go big or go home!”
There was a brief pause.
“...Sounds exciting,” when Chiyo finally spoke, her voice was quiet yet honest. “It’s very… you.”
“Thanks!” Nishinoya then turned his attention toward the blue skies above and let out a deep sigh. “This is it then, huh? Like Eguchi-san said in her speech, it feels like the end of an era.”
Chiyo’s lips parted.
There it was again - that pain in her chest. That nagging fear that one day, Nishinoya would grow out of her reach, like the fleeting pink petals caught in a breeze. Her hands clammed up around the plastic certificate tube.
“I like you.”
The words came out before she even had the time to process them and Nishinoya’s eyes went wide.
“What?” His words were barely audible as he turned to face her fully.
“I said I like you.”
“Chiyo-”
“I know,” before he even had the chance to respond, Chiyo cut him off and covered her face. “I know this is selfish of me. And I know it’s unfair 'cause you’ve asked me out so, so many times but I just…” She could feel her nose sore. “I don’t know…. I just… I didn’t think I deserved all that time and energy you wasted on me all these years.”
“And I also knew you wanted to travel the world and that just… it just wasn’t in my plans for the future,” she crouched down, trying to hold back the tears that stung at the rim of her eyes. “I was supposed to stay in Japan for the rest of my life. Get into some big corporate company and slave away until I die. So we would’ve been long distance. Like super long distance… I just… I can’t handle that. But now things are different and I…” she choked. “I can’t imagine a future without you.”
The cherry blossoms rustled as Chiyo pressed the base of her palms into her eyes to stop the tears from leaking out.
“It’s okay if you don’t like anymore,” she whispered. “It’s okay if you’ve moved on. I just want you to stay in my life, even if it’s-”
But before she could finish that sentence, a pair of arms were thrown around her neck, toppling her over as she gasped in surprise. Chiyo tensed at first, only to relax when she realized what was happening.
“Yuu?”
“Say it again,” he murmured into the crook of her neck.
“Huh?”
“Say it again please.”
Chiyo blinked as a tear rolled down her cheek. Did he not hear her?
“I-It’s okay if you don’t like me anymore-”
“No, not that part,” Nishinoya shook his head, pulling back to stare her dead in the eye. “That part’s irrelevant. Never gonna happen. I mean how you feel about me. I wanna hear it again.”
A surge of heat rose to her face as Chiyo realized what he was implying. She dropped her head.
“I… like you,” after a moment of trying to calm her rampant emotions, she finally managed to squeeze those words out as she met his gaze once more.
“I like how outgoing you are…” She continued to speak as Nishinoya pressed his palms to her cheeks. “I like how kind and funny you are. I like how you can cheer anyone up, just by being yourself. I like how you always do your best to help other people. I like how you can always push forward with a smile,” her eyes crinkled. “I really really like you, Yuu-”
Through her rambling, she failed to notice Nishinoya slowly leaning in with every word. But once she finally did, his lips had already crashed against hers like a gentle wave. Chiyo’s eyes grew wide with surprise as warmth blossomed in her chest.
Nishinoya smelled faintly of sweat and oxidized metal. And combined with the smell of sulfur from his shampoo, it was almost dizzying. His lips were wet and a little stiff, but before Chiyo could fully process what was happening, she let her eyes fall shut and kissed him back.
After what felt like an eternity, Nishinoya slowly pulled away. “That’s good,” his voice was barely a whisper. “Cause I really really like you too.”
At his gentle words, Chiyo’s heart swelled. Her nose was all stuffed up and she could barely breathe, but this was the most exhilarated she’s felt for as long as she could remember. Her blue eyes started to water once more as she pursed her lips.
“Hey, hey,” Nishinoya’s face flooded with panic once he noticed the tears brimming the corner of Chiyo’s eyes. He jumped back, letting go of her and holding his hands in the air as if he’s done something wrong. “Oh god, I’m sorry. Please don’t cry. I don’t know what came over me, you just looked so cute so I wanted to kiss you and-”
“No, you idiot,” Chiyo laughed a little between hiccups, rubbing the moisture away with the sleeve of her uniform blazer. “These are happy tears.”
“Really?” Nishinoya blinked, relaxing a little once she nodded. “Alright. Cause I was gonna ask if I can kiss you again.”
Chiyo glanced at him. For a moment, her gaze wandered from left to right, as if she were afraid to be spotted by someone on this secluded street. But she then bit her bottom lip and turned to face him straight on. She rested a hand against his cheek and guided his lips towards hers for another kiss.
This time, it was soft and chaste. Perhaps Nishinoya had already gotten used to the sensation and adapted accordingly. There were no sparks flying or booming fireworks like in the movies or mangas, just a simple spring breeze that weaved through her hair. But to Chiyo, it was more than enough. It was simple, sweet and intimate.
It was all she could’ve asked for.
When they separated, Nishinoya leaned forward to rest his forehead against hers. And to her surprise, his cheeks were dusted a light pink like the cherry blossoms swaying overhead.
“So what’s the plan?” He placed his hands over hers on the concrete roads. “Did you wanna come with me?”
Chiyo nodded. “I’m thinking I wanna become a food journalist,” she said, studying the faint twinkle in his brown eyes. “I want to travel and write about all the different kinds of delicious food the world has to offer,” she paused for a bit. “Then someday, when I’m older, I want to settle down somewhere. Maybe in Japan, maybe somewhere far, far away.”
She hesitated a bit but Nishinoya squeezed her hand as if encouraging her to continue.
“And I wanna try maybe opening a… restaurant.”
Nishinoya’s entire face brightened.
“That sounds like a great plan,” his response was as swift and sincere as ever. “It’s very you.”
“Thanks,” Chiyo chuckled but her face quickly fell as a looming sense of anxiety took over. “Do you… think it’s possible?” She asked nervously and Nishinoya shrugged.
“Who knows,” he hummed, slowly standing up and dusting off the dirt and flower petals that stuck to his pants. After making sure they were clean, he then extended a hand down towards her with a smile that rivaled the shimmering sun.
“But we can find out. Together.”
Chiyo’s eyes widened.
Growing up, Amari Chiyo always thought she had to have the answers to everything. It was drilled into her head as a child and enforced upon her by herself as a teen. She was the eldest daughter. It was her responsibility to lead by example and live a well-planned and stable life.
But when Nishinoya walked into her life, it felt like a hurricane tearing through a perfectly organized stack of papers.
And for the first time, she began to look forward. She began to have hopes and dreams of a future. Not a future for others, nor to set an example, but a future for her and her only.
And while it was still scary to not live by a perfectly planned script. For the first time, she was okay with that.
Placing her hand in his, Chiyo smiled as he pulled her up to her feet.
“Yeah,” she grinned. “That sounds great!”
She was grateful to Nishinoya. For calling out to her after school, for helping her find Hotaru on that rainy afternoon, for getting to know her so wholly and sincerely, and for encouraging her to follow her own path.
She wondered how she could make him happy. Someone who was so aware, yet oblivious at the same time. Perhaps a simple hug and kiss would do, or perhaps she could try and gift him the mountains and oceans they would one day travel together.
“Come on,” still holding her hand, Nishinoya pointed in the direction of her house. “Let’s go home!”
But for now, she knew a large bowl of her homemade yaki udon would do just fine.

I'm so fucking done right now
I have a friend. We're going to call her "AAAAAAA!!!!"
AAAAAAA!!!! and I have been friends for more than twenty years. LONG before I started converting to Judaism.
She grew up in an area Jewish enough to get the high holy days off. She has as many Jewish friends as I do. She is more knowledgeable about Jewish stuff than anyone else I know who isn't Jewish. To the point that I've sometimes thought about asking her why she doesn't convert.
Sure, she's a staunch atheist. So nu?
I don't think we'd ever had occasion to talk about I/P politics before a couple of years ago. We immediately discovered we had uhhhhh. Very opposing views. We both backed off of what was clearly going to be a charged and messy discussion.
I didn't know enough yet to try anyway. All I knew, mainly, was that (1) Jews are the indigenous people of Israel and (2) both Israel and Palestine have Done Bad Shit!
That's a very, very, very inadequate understanding. But I did feel pretty confident that point #1 contradicted her apparent stance, which was more "Israel is the one that has Done Bad Shit."
We backed off for a couple of years. She would occasionally mention how much she wished I would read Edward Said, so we could talk about him.
She is, to her credit, totally against Hamas's attack. But we conflict on most other issues. And they're so charged for her that we can't really talk about any of them.
It turns out that the reason they're so charged is that her niece got yelled at and called out for "being an antisemite" for supporting BDS in college, and it was traumatizing for her.
In other words, she and her family stopped at "I had really really big feelings of shame and fear about this," and chose not to see "and I tried to find out why this marginalized group was saying that" as an option.
And also, AAAAAAA!!!!'s sister, a local elementary school principal, went through a stressful time recently for similar reasons: Jewish families were accusing her and/or her school of being antisemitic, and one (1) family left.
AAAAAAAA!!!! set the boundary, with me, that we should not talk about the definition of antisemitism, or antisemitism related to the protest movement, after I posted a list of things on Facebook that the ADL is charging the Berkeley Unified School District with.
Including that K-12 students have been saying and/or writing, "Kill the Jews," "Jews are stupid," "Of course it was the Jews," and telling Jewish peers, "I don't like your people."
My friend is angrily convinced that "such accusations are a flood of SEWAGE smeared on protesters, professors, etc. I am not saying there is no antisemitism, though Berkeley is a very weird place for it to crop up in the from-zero-to-a-thousand way it is described. Of course there can be a) isolated incidents that hit fucking hard in these circumstances, and b) deliberate elisions between, again, being against what Israel is doing, and having that portrayed as being antisemitic."
/looks at the camera/
All of this is just context for what I came here to say 😅
I WAS TONIGHT YEARS OLD WHEN I FOUND OUT WHAT EDWARD SAID WROTE, AND WHAT THE ENTIRE FUCK. FUCK THAT DUDE TWICE.
Constantine Zurayk's fiction that the “Arab nation” suffered the Nakba didn’t survive for long. [By 1967,] the meaning of the Nakba had already changed as Palestinian activists and historians began depicting the events of 1948 exclusively as a tragedy for their own people.
...The most influential of those [new books that framed it that way,] particularly for audiences in the West, was Edward W. Said’s The Question of Palestine, published in 1979.
Said, a popular Columbia University English professor [OH HELLO] and a member of the Palestinian National Council, was something of an icon in liberal intellectual circles because of his earlier book, Orientalism. In that work, Said framed the history of colonialism in the Arab and Islamic world within a system of Western racialist thought.
I'm just gonna guess that he didn't go back farther than 50 years. Because before that point, you get 1,300 years or so of Arab and Islamic colonialism, and I don't know how it would make sense to frame that within a system of Western racialist thought.
In The Question of Palestine, the author argued that the game was stacked against the native Palestinians in favor of the white Zionists, because of the same dominant racist ideologies.
THAT'S HIM, OFFICER. THAT'S THE GUY.
That's what my friend has been trying to get me to read for three years? An ahistoric mess that pretends Jews were actually white supremacists at the time that white supremacy was actively trying to wipe us out?
I'M SO TIRED, YOU GUYS.
Said denounced “the entrenched cultural attitude toward Palestinians deriving from age-old Western prejudices about Islam, the Arabs, and the Orient. This attitude, from which in its turn Zionism drew for its view of the Palestinians, dehumanized us, reduced us to the barely tolerated status of a nuisance.”
Yeah, THAT'S what happened.
“Certainly, so far as the West is concerned,” Said continues, “Palestine has been a place where a relatively advanced (because European) incoming population of Jews has performed miracles of construction and civilizing and has fought brilliantly successful technical wars against what was always portrayed as a dumb, essentially repellent population of uncivilized Arab natives.”
This was a harsh and distorted view of the Zionist movement.
I said I was so fucking done, and what I MEANT was that I was so fucking angry, and NOW I'M TEXTING HER SUPPORTIVELY ABOUT OTHER STUFF WHILE I WRITE THIS.
I just.

Please drag Edward Said for me or otherwise Go Off. Thank you

So something really caught me about the recent Paranatural Update. Not any of the text (Mind it was all great and went to depths about it) But One of the images. (Spoilers below for anyone who cares)
Tumblr media
Cody is a half vampire. Now it's cannon in this world that Vampires do not have a reflection, so I find it *Extremely interesting* that we don't see a 1 to 1 reflection of cody here. In fact, I think this mirror is being literal in vampire rules here and is reflecting HALF of cody (Also as evidenced as we see the reflection of the Hijacks to be 1 to 1, so I assume the reflection is literally what it's showing. But the most interesting part is, the reflection we're seeing Isn't his human half, but *His vampire half.* It's not showing the half of cody that is bright, shining and smiling, outwardly friendly and aloof, but rather, Dark, sinister, All business, with Fangs and Claws showing. The half that shows never on his face but in his choice of words, and his actions. Spiritually, Mirrors reflect two things, The truth and the Soul. So this makes me think Cody's truth, who he *is*, what his soul *is* Isn't human. Or even half human. No, he just looks like it, and has the body. Whenever he says "I'm a monster." He means it, he acts it, and he believes it. That's his Whole truth. He's not cody the school kid, Cody the Friend, or Cody the Charitable goofball. He's Cody, the Vampire. Cody the Student Council President. He's cold and manipulative, and *dangerous* And I think both literally and metaphorically, it's because his father separated him from his heart, as Shown here.
Tumblr media
Same page, describing his backstory. Note how his father, to the left, is shown in deep red and his human mother in soft blue. When Cody's father removed his heart to place on his own, (As his spirit weapon's power cuts things in pieces) the spiritual wound is in this case, the Human blue. He didn't just cut out cody's human heart. He cut out cody's human *Half*. And keeps it under his own lock and key, In his own chest. Cody's Humanity resides within Davey. And as such, Cody is what the Mirror Reflects. A Vampire with a human's body, but not the human heart, not the soul. A poignant metaphor on how kids tend to reflect the parent that raised them, but also how, intentionally or otherwise, Parents directly affect who their kids are on the inside, but also, aptly describes how cody will certainly be a dangerous threat to our main characters later on.

So much delusion with the new unit... ;-;
-President Kanae went through two long years of struggle to finally be at the top. There’s barely anyone who remembers a sweet Kanae back in his first year of high school and no one believes anyone who says they seen a sweet Kanae. The Kanae everyone knows now holds a smirk filled with secondary intent and is a scary leader among the council. No one has actually seen him fight before and no one wants to try. If one thing clear though, Kanae’s unwavering leadership has skyrocket Nanajigen High’s standing and reputation to the top. To an outsider view, he is a sweetheart. To the students in Nanajigen, he’s not to be messed with. To enemies, he’s the devil itself.
-Vice President Higuchi doesn’t seem to do much to an outsider perspective. There are many within and outside the school that see her as not only lazy but inefficient and rude. Which is why it was a shock when Kanae recruited her as his second hand. It was almost an outrage until she stopped an unwanted knife fight. Higuchi gets dirty work done. Scaring delinquents of school grounds, catching kids skipping, many kids being seeing her in another light as she use her dominance to support student’s efficiency.  Her connection with the underground is not a mere sight to behold, after all they call her delinquent queen for a reason.
-Public Affairs Akina is not only completely loyal but also dedicated to the council itself. Many see him like a watchdog, always by Kanae’s side with a serious smile. In the occasion you run into him on his own, he’s almost like a golden retriever, bright and warm while charming in it’s own way. Don’t be fooled though, it’s exactly this charm point that makes him the public affairs officer. Many are drawn into his friendly charm, an advantage he uses to collect information around the student body and trick outside schools. While that’s not to say this personality is all fake, it does mean one has to be wary. An innocent like charm draws in predators in doesn’t it?
-Secretary Ryushen has been rather infamous for a rumor wrapped around their identity back in junior high. It was such a rumor that would result in them disappearing after past bullying, and as high school progressed, many people forgot about Ryushen. It was a surprise to many old classmates when they came back no longer wearing their braid long ago but rather in a new look with Kanae by their side. Needless to say Ryushen remembers and logs everything in, from planning and recording ordinary student council subjects to rumors and disadvantages of all students. Once bullied, Ryushen now stands knowing all.
-Treasurer Leos is an odd pick to manage the school money. Under Leos, the chemistry club has only one student, himself, and many saw him as eccentric and someone you can’t get along with. His recruitment made many upset, I mean why would you hire such a guy. It was a surprise as money began pouring into the school, almost all clubs has funding of some sort and budgets have increased at surprising profits. Some are still worried about the money legitimacy and there’s a rumor it was gotten through illegal means. The real answer has to do with his disciplined “pet” though that doesn’t mean Leo’s doesn’t have an eye for cash.
-General Affairs Suo is a completely unfamiliar face. She’s just a junior entering high school yet she seems to be roped in with all these people. Out of the entire council many people find it easy to be friends with her with her sweet personality. There is one small thing about her though. She’s a well experienced actor. Beneath the perfect girl is just a human who’s often eccentric with her own ideas and opinions. If she’s not restricted in some way, who knows what crazy event she might pull. Luckily the rest of the council is almost always willing to make those events come true… well if the school actually allows it.

Sora: HeHe~ Come to think of it, why is Senpai here?
Tsumugi: I was organising the underground archive as it’s part of what a student librarian does. I thought I could check in on Natsume-kun while I’m at it, so I peeked into the “Secret Room”.

Power Couple with the ‘It Girl’ HC [Ushijima]
a/n: honestly, I do think Waka-chan will be an interesting partner, wouldn’t you agree?
warning: none
Haikyuu HC Masterlist | Haikyuu Series Masterlist | Genshin Impact Masterlist
Tumblr media
✨model students power couple✨
literally a king and queen
NotLikeThis emote every teacher and students in school put you two on a pedestal because you two are exemplary in your own ways
that pressure wasn’t very pleasant, but you two endured it together
Ushijima is the star student that was selected to be an under 19 representative for Japan for the Youth World Championship and his studies are within the top 0.5%
but he has a stoic face and intimidating face
you are the student council’s president and was the lead star of Shiratorizawa, crème de la crème
but you have a stoic face too
no one would expect the two of you to be a couple since neither one of you showed even an ounce of hint towards having romantic feelings
both of you had been in the same class since middle school so you two knew of each other and even back then, Ushijima and yourself were outstanding students
your home room teacher joked that they wouldn't be surprised if one day you two end up dating each other because you two would always be selected as representatives of some sort
teachers think that way?? (◕︿◕✿)? even a smart cookie such as yourself was a little confused at such a thought process
fast-forward to the end of your first year in high school, with the help of your best friend, you were able to internalized and process the tinge of sourness whenever you saw a girl got too touchy with Ushijima
or the sudden wave of heat that was sent through your body when you two accidentally brushed past
not one to dilly-dally, you decided to just confess your feelings to the volleyball loving idiot. if he didn't like you back, so be it, because then you can just move on
surprise, surprise (no sarcasm) he actually liked you a lot too
he just didn't know how to approach it, says he
so he would purposely visit the places you would most likely appear just to catch a glimpse of how angelic you look because seeing you doing well is all he needed to know to make his day better
Ushijima you oblivious flirt ( 〃ω〃)
teachers adore you two so much. we all know teachers are secretly shipping their students, but you will forever remain their favourite because it is so unexpected
very lowkey about PDA in the beginning, aside from holding hands, but you two just love it that way. his hands are hUGE and wraps around yours perfectly
but when you two do show PDA…
*cameras 📷 out and ready*
the whole school finds it so adorable that their power couple is so fluffy now
when they spot you near each other's vicinity, they would stare and wait. wait until you two cross path and witness the way Ushijima stopped you to remind you to take good care, witness the way you reached to his hair and gave it a loving pat
and witness the tiny redness on the tip of you two’s ears as you two continue your day
listen, sweet [y/n], as the school council's most vital member, your time is eaten up by a lot of matters, trivial or not (ノσ‸σ)ノ*:・゚✧
you don't often had the luxury to watch his games live since you were the secretary/vice-president/president in each respective year of your high school career and thus could only show support to him via objects
gifting him a towel that has his name embroidered by you, or some home cooked lunch you made for his matches
he didn't mind if you came or not, because he understands how important of a figure you are in Shiratorizawa (heck he even answers to you for certain matters) and is needed in school even after school hours
plus, if he needs your presence to win, then what kind of powerhouse is Shiratorizawa? He wants to show you that he is reliable regardless, so he can protect you in every situation
{´◕ ◡ ◕`} what a protective simp but protective Ushijima will always flutter not only you, but the people around you
but just because he is your significant other, doesn’t mean he is exempted from your lectures when it came to school rules
remember how he let Kageyama and Hinata entered Shiratorizawa without the proper process?
lmao who the fuck is darling, dear, or honey?
It was only “Ushijima Wakatoshi, please come to the student council office right now”
you had never seen Ushijima looked so unsure of himself when he sat in front of your desk
“I heard you let two students from Karasuno enter our campus without the proper procedures…”
Ushijima shifted in his seat as he tried to maintain eye contact with you. he was thankful you sent everyone out
“It was an oversight on my part. I am very sorry, my dear,” he said, and it was at that second, Ushijima unlocked the ability “puppy eyes”
Ushijima made sure to buy you a nice bouquet of your favourite flowers, and pamper you because he didn’t want you to be disappointed in him, and because you deserve the queen treatment, ofc
just like Oikawa (lmao) he makes sure to let the interviewers know of you and how you are always there to give him that additional push. man over here has cheesy things to say, i tell ya
“I also have my lovely significant other that supports my career-”
*he points to you in the crowd*
Ushijima.exe is processing...
“[y/n] is here?” he asked incredulously
why did he point at you as if ke knew? lmao wtf, you volleyball idiot
his ‘y/n’ radar is on 24/7 it seems
yes, if you have the luxury to actually show up, you quietly watch your boyfriend and absorb every single play he did, never informing him about you being in the crowd until the end of the game
the crowd makes sure you get the best view of the entire match
he loves it when you do that, makes for a pleasant after-game surprise
over time, you two are more comfortable with PDA
Ushijima will take the initiative to have his arms around you and kisses you on your cheeks or forehead when he sees you off to your meetings before heading off to the gym himself
you two often have lunch together with the volleyball team, so the cafeteria is always packed because now everyone wants to watch the power couple live and breathe like a movie
overall, your status as a power couple came from having a solid reputation that kept on growing when you two got together
it's honestly scary just how much power you two hold
but of course, only true friends will see who has the most power over the other in your relationship

Of Jealousy and Friendship - Epilogue
*** Back due to popular demand, here is a little epilogue for what happened at school the next day after pt. 2 Enjoy! - B***
Summary: MC makes a lower demon friend who may secretly be hoping for something more than friendship. The Demon Bros are not about to let this happen.
TW: Discussions about scenting and non-consensual physical contact. PART ONE, PART TWO
The next day of school was...interesting to say the least. For starters, the brothers refused to leave your side. There was one of them lingering near you at all times. Some of them had the decency to try and be subtle. Satan would just happen to be studying in the same room as you, or Belphie was napping and was wondering if you could keep an eye on his things while he did. But then there were the others who were more than obvious. Mammon and Asmodeus both had to pried off of your arms by Lucifer to get them to actually go to their own classes. Leviathan, despite usually doing his classes at home in his room, actually attended school that day and insisted that he needed your help finding a few rooms here and there. The normally sweet and friendly Beel was glaring at any lower demon that so much as looked in your direction. And boy did they look. The moment you took a step into a classroom, you could see a number of lower demons flinch back at the combined strong sent of seven of the most powerful demons in the Devildom. Everywhere you went, whispers seemed to follow you. There were undoubtedly rumours about what you might have done in order to trick the brothers into favouring you; though you never heard any of them since no one dared to come within a ten-foot radius of you.
This bothered you a little at first. Being the center of attention, especially this kind of attention, was never fun to anybody. But by the end of the day, rather than being disheartened by it, you were just exhausted. Finally, the last class of the day had arrived; the one you had been dreading since the moment your alarm went off that morning - Magical Potions.
Beel shifted from foot to foot as the two of you lingered in the entrance. "Do you really have to go to this class? You could just skip and come get some snacks with me instead." You smiled sympathetically at Beel and patted his shoulder. "Sorry, Beel. Diavolo expects good things from his exchange students. I need to keep my grades high, or who knows what Lucifer will do as punishment." The redhead pouted. "Lucifer would understand, I think. All things considered." You snorted and began to walk into the classroom. "Go to your own class, Beel. You can come to get me afterwards, and walk me home with Mammon if you really want."
Beelzebub mumbled to himself, before turning and finally walking off. You entered the class, ignoring the few gasps and gaping stares that you got as you walked through the room, and took your seat. You had been setting up for another class of note-taking when the door opened once more. Standing in the doorway, staring at you with wide eyes, was Cane. The moment your eyes met, the shocked expression on his face instantly dissipated and he flashed you a charming smile. You could feel a bubble of annoyance and anger begin to rise within you. The cocky demon swaggered over and plopped down into his seat beside you. "Hey, there Dare Devil. You didn't get in too much trouble last night with the big bad Avatars did you?" as he spoke he draped an arm on the back of your chair.
You eyed his exposed wrist and pushed his arm off of your chair. It seemed not even the obvious scenting that was supposed to tell him to back off would get him to take a hint. "No, I didn't. Though they did tell me a few interesting things last night." Cane chuckled and leaned into his palm as he smirked at you. "I'm assuming it has something to do with the reason why you smell like hell-incarnate?"
You scoffed and narrowed your eyes at him. "I'm sure you'd rather I smell like you. Considering you apparently did your best to make that happen yesterday." Cane tensed for a moment, and you could practically see the gears turning in his head. Eventually, his expression fell into one of confusion as he frowned at you. "Are you talking about how I scented you? MC, do you really think I would do something like that without a good reason?" The frustration in you began to grow and grow inside you; somewhere across the school grounds, Satan sneezed. You weren't in the mood to have this talk now, and very much wished that your professor would hurry up and start the god damn class already. "I don't know you Cane. How am I supposed to know whether or not that's something you would do?" That stupid smug look on his face returned once more and you had to resist the urge to slap it off of him. "You seemed to know me well enough to go out with me yesterday. You didn't seem worried about whether or not I was too much of a stranger when we were dancing at the club and walking downtown late at night, where anything could've happened to a small little human like you," he chuckled as your face scrunched up in annoyance and leaned back into his chair. "I didn't scent you for any perverted reasons. I did it to keep you safe while we were out. I knew if you had my scent on you, you'd be less likely to get attacked, and I was right," he sheepishly scratched the back of his neck. "Admittedly, I should've asked first, and that's on me. But I really just wanted to make sure that my new friend didn't get hurt." He was lying. He had to be. If that asshole seriously thought you were stupid enough to buy that lame excuse, he was extremely wrong. You opened your mouth to tell him as much but were interrupted by a familiar deep voice clearing their throat behind you. "That is the worse excuse I've ever heard, and I live with Mammon." Cane stiffened in front of you before he looked up to meet the glaring eyes of Lucifer, and smiled. "Lord Lucifer, I'm afraid I don't know what you mean. I would never lie, especially not to a friend like MC." The classroom seemed to be on the edge of their seats as everyone quickly picked up on the showdown that was happening right in front of them. One lower demon of gluttony even pulled out a bag of popcorn. Lucifer tsked and crossed his arms over his chest. "Do not insult mine and MC's intelligence like that. Sure scenting can be helpful to ward off other demons, but only if the scent is associated with a more powerful demon. Nobody would blink an eye at anything coated in your weak, disgusting scent." Cane scoffed and tilted his head. "Evidently you did last night. Don't think I didn't notice you and your brother's reactions." This gained a few gasps from your classmates. No one could believe that someone, that wasn't his brothers, was actually trying to stand up against Lucifer. The idea itself was insane. Even seeing it in front of their own eyes, most could hardly believe it, yourself included. Lucifer maintained his indifferent expression and raised an eyebrow at Cane. "You mistook our irritation and disbelief that someone would be so stupid as to even attempt scenting our charge for being even the slightest bit phased by you," he took a step closer to Cane, bending down to be eye level with him. "You should consider yourself lucky it was Asmodeus and myself that got to the two of you first. Should it have been one of my more reckless brothers, you would've been nothing but a pile of ribbons in our driveway," Lucifer's eyes gleamed with satisfaction as Cane gulped and took a step back. The Morningstar grinned dangerously. "MC is our charge. They are our family and our responsibility. Unlike you, we actually got their permission to be scented and bonded to them last night; meaning my brothers are more protective than ever. I would never stoop so low as to waste my energy on a pitiful excuse for a demon-like yourself. But I know for a fact, that Beelzebub eats demons like you as a snack on
days when he is particularly famished. Satan occasionally brings one home for his latest experiments. Belphegor has torn through an entire percentage of them when he hasn't gotten enough sleep. Asmodeus is surprisingly prone to temper tantrums and fits of jealousy. Leviathan drowns anyone that disrespects the things that he loves. And Mammon doesn't take too kindly to people touching things that he considers his." Cane's hands balled into fists, but even then, the tremble in them was still glaringly obvious. Lucifer remained unphased and unmoved by the reactions he was pulling from his victim; though anyone could sense the air of utter glee that was exuding off of him. "If I were you, Cane, I would sleep with one eye open." The teacher finally walked in and raised an eyebrow at the scene in front of them. "Lord Lucifer, is there a reason you are harassing my student?" Cane whimpered as Lucifer smirked at him before standing straight and turning to the teacher. "Not at all, professor. I am actually here to inform you that MC will no longer be enrolled in this class." You whipped your head up to look at him as he placed a hand on your shoulder. "The student council has realized it would be a much better decision to have the exchange students more knowledgable to the ways and customs of demons during their visit here, so MC will be enrolled in Devildom Culture Studies instead. We wouldn't want someone to take advantage of them just because they were taught our ways, now would we?" The last line was spoken coldly and pointedly as though to drive in his threats to Cane. The teacher sighed but seemed to know that there was no point arguing and instructed you to gather your things. You did so happily and quickly. As you left the classroom and walked through your halls with Lucifer, you bumped him gently with your hip. "Thanks, Lucifer. You really are the best." His chest puffed up the slightest bit in pride as he continued walking forward with his hand still on your shoulder. "There is nothing to thank me for MC. I was just doing my duty as Vice-President of the student council to ensure that the exchange students are happy and safe." But even as he said the words, you knew that wasn't the case. You were MC. The human that wormed their way into the hearts of the seven strongest demons in the Devildom. For that reason alone, you were untouchable to all others, and Lucifer and his brothers would ensure that for as long as they breathed. And whoever disagreed would have to be ready to face the consequences.

Sooo… I started watching the Eclipse and just oh my god,,,,
And it’s weird because I usually hate darker school dramas and click out by the second episode but I’m actually really intrigued and invested and I was trying to place why and then I realized-
It’s because of how genuine they are about being a teenager, particularly a queer teenager at that.
It’s because none of the students truly have any power. They’re doing these things, but it’s made clear time and time again that the adults are the ones truly hurting them. There is no all powerful student council running the show here, the enemies are genuinely just regular adults with authority over them who don’t understand them.
Akk and Kan are prefects, but they’re actually very limited in what they’re able to do, he’s taking orders and trying to do what he thinks is right within those orders. Ayan is investigating and wants to expose corruption, but his mom his absent and he’s all alone and grieving and there are no mentions of any of his old friends, he’s being target by the teachers, he’s not suddenly popular and causing a transformation over night, he’s isolated and angry and trying to achieve his sense of justice. Thua clearly doesn’t feel safe at home, but he has no power, he has no protective friends willing to fight the world for him (Kan is scared himself, and this is simply a fact not a fault or criticism) and is simply trying to find a relative safety within the hidden corners. Wat loves something that no one else, not even his friends, can appreciate, and is being shoved towards a future he does not want because it is stable, because it is safe It’s funny and I love the chemistry and it’s such a fascinating plot and I’m having a blast watching it and yet there are times where I feel like I’m being cut into, like my soul is being bared to the world as I remember being that scared, angry queer teenager.
The Eclipse is something so deeply personal to me with the experiences of being a queer teen.
It just feels so genuine and honest with its characters and the acting and portrayals are done so well-
It’s the fear and the anger and the mutual I don’t want to be silenced but I am absolutely petrified of what could happen if I am seen so I keep my head down for me
I want to burn the world to the ground and never stop screaming. I want to bury myself in my bed and blankets and never emerge. I joke and laugh and everyone thinks I’m straight and cis and my soul is suffocating but I’m too scared to ever let anyone suspect anything about me. I know what I am and I can not hide but I will bury it so deep so I can pretend it is not there. Anger is going to eat me alive if fear doesn’t suffocate me first. I want to be brave, but what is courage when it threatens my own survival, when it means risking everything and everyone I love? It’s seeing other queer kids, loud and proud and open and being utterly terrified of them, being utterly terrified for them because I could never do that, how can they do that, how can they be so sure of their own existence, so unafraid in a world that wants them dead?
I’m watching different aspects of my own queer experience interact as actual complex characters and oh my god I want to cry
The tension between Ayan and Akk kills me every time, I adore Ayan, of course I do, he’s a mouthy chaotic gremlin brat and I very much have a type Ayan is consumed by his grief and rage and he is so blinded by vengeance he’s only going to end up burning himself in the end and Akk experiencing gay panic every five minutes gives me life Akk being torn between the different parts of himself, his heart’s desire and the heavy weight of expectations threatening to break him
The yearning with Kan and Thua stabs at me, the two cowards trying to survive even as it’s slowly crushing the-
Kinnporsche was a cinematic masterpiece and complete and utter game changer for me, it will be forever the greatest show of all time for me. Ingredients was something simple and sweet. My Engineer was…something that had a magical, compelling romance amidst chaos. Cutie Pie was fun and sweet and dramatic and heartfelt and a marriage equality and very fun and enjoyable to watch. But there’s something so achingly vulnerable about The Eclipse.
It’s funny and I love the chemistry and it’s such a fascinating plot and I’m having a blast watching it and yet there are times where I feel like I’m being cut into, like my soul is being bared to the world as I remember being that scared, angry queer teenager.
I just wanted to watch a fun Thai BL not like actual feelings cutting me down to the fiber making up my very being as I watch a surprisingly intense and psychological drama that’s making me reflect on my own past,,,, yeah
Can’t wait to see where it goes!

Brothers React to a Demigod MC
So, I've gotten some interest to do a Brothers follow-up to a previous request of mine (Undateables React to a Cute, Badass MC), however, I've thus far refused to write one. Honestly, this HC actually plays on a trope I personally dislike and had it not been a request I would have never done it to start with. I just can't see any reasonable way a non-magic human can beat a bunch of demons, I just can't, and that hinders my imagination quite a bit. …But someone who’s not so human? That I can get behind. Fair warning, I grew up with the Percy Jackson series so that’s going to paint quite a bit of how I see modern demigods. Ready for things to get super-ultra fanfic-y for a bit?
Intro:
The day to kidnap bring the exchange students to the Devildom has finally come and the demons have all gathered in the Council Room to open their portal to the human world. Really, things started without a hitch - the portal opened with and their future student dropped down out of it and landed on the floor… before they suddenly leapt up, pulled out a weapon, and lunged at them!
… This isn’t your normal human, it is?
Lucifer
Oh Devil, this couldn’t have been any farther than what they wanted… They were looking for a human and they managed to pull out a halfling! A divine halfling no less!! Why wasn’t this in their file?!
Look, Lucifer might not be on good terms with his father, but even he knows he had it better than any children of the pagan gods… The levels of petty vindictiveness that run through that bunch are literally the stuff of legends...
After he and Barbatos were able to restrain the MC before they hurt themselves or anyone else, Diavolo explained everything to them and gave them a pardon for attacking the Demon Prince on sight… After they identified themselves and their parentage, Lucifer knew they were in for some shit…
He and Diavolo had to iron out an apology letter to their godly parent for days just to keep from saying anything that could accidentally cause a second Troy or worse... It was a mess...
But on the bright side, the “human” came pre-prepared for fighting monsters and demons, which honestly took a bit of a load off his shoulders. That’s less responsibility for Mammon - and in his experience, the less responsibility Mammon has, the better things usually turn out.
… Though their ability to actually hold their own in a fight did make things complicated sometimes - like whenever he was their perceived opponent...
He wasn’t expecting to have to manage a being that was actually capable of meeting him toe-to-toe on the battlefield and it did hinder his intimidation factor to some degree…It was hard to be threatening to someone who’s likely faced worse than you could ever offer.
In the end it probably worked out for the best, as a live exchange student is better for Diavolo than a dead one - but man did it get on his nerves until they made their pact together… Be scared of him, dammit!
Mammon
The first time he tried to threaten the human, they straight up pulled out a weapon and looked like they were ready to whip his ass!! Didn’t they know he wasn’t being serious?? 😫
He really didn’t know why he had to be on babysitting duty, anymore... This huma-er demigod could handle themselves just fine!
When he first ditched them with Levi, he later found out they managed to cleanly toss his brother over their head and make a break for it all by themselves! And Levi’s no pushover either!!
Later, he saw them getting ambushed on their way back from school and they soundly knocked out about five demons before he even caught up to them… and he’s, like, fast and stuff…
Their strength is kind of unreal at times, but he could tell they were still far from a mindless killing machine. They were more or less a normal person, they had wants and dreams like anybody else, but they just happened to be a long stronger than the average mortals around them. 🤷‍♀️
After he eventually got to know them and a bit about how their life worked, he felt a little bad for them... Who wants to be hunted down just for being born?
After learning about their struggles, Mammon ended up resolving to help keep them safe (even if a part of him knew they didn’t need him that much).
I mean, if the whole world’s against you, then you can use all the help you can get... right?
Leviathan
Levi found out exactly one thing about them within the first two minutes of meeting them… their reflexes were killer.
After Mammon ditched them on Day One, he tried to drag the human to his room to tell them his genius plan but they broke out of his grip and threw him flat on his back like was just second nature!
He was stuck on the ground for a full minute, trying to process what just happened, while they ran off into the House all alone…
Did he just get tossed around… by a human?? Was he really that pathetic!?!
Finding out later that they were actually half-god certainly helped out his self-esteem because, man, if he had lost so easily to a human of all things... He might have just never left his room again…
Levi pretty much kept his distance from them until they finally made a pact together and then he discovered that the MC wasn’t so scary after all. If he’s being honest, being in the same house as a demigod was actually kind of cool...!
Like, it was almost exactly the plot of the show: “Wait, I Thought I Was the Son of a Pagan God So What Am I Doing in a Christian Hell??” but their MC seemed to know a lot more about fighting than the protagonist of that show ever did…
Plus, because he never had to worry about their safety, he had even more excuse to never leave his room. Win-win!
Satan
A demigod, eh…? He had done plenty of research into human world mythologies in his spare time, frankly he thought the old gods had died out - but it seems they were still up and kicking… and making babies for whatever reason? Horny bastards...
Satan's original interest in the MC was purely academic. It’s not everyday that you get to meet someone of such a unique heritage and he fully intended to learn if all the legends about their greatness were true… and well...
He could say that the MC was certainly different than how he pictured humans being. He’d never met very many before, but from what he could gather they were a weak race that really got by on wit and persistence… However, nothing about the MC was weak.
Their aptitude for combat was surprisingly sharp, both in skill and reflexes. He had once blown up at them in anger and not only did they dodge his swipes but they got in a good few hits themselves with a nearby lamp… He never once thought a mortal could give him a black-eye but, somehow, they pulled it off. 🤷‍♀️
Combine their physical skill with what magical gifts were granted to them by their godly-half and they were a force to be reckoned with… Even Solomon seemed to hesitate and think more about his actions around them (which is saying something for a sorcerer of his strength).
It’d be fair to say a part of him grew to respect the MC long before they ever made their pact and that respect only grew afterwards. If he had to be bound to any master, human or otherwise, he’d rather it be one that he could right about consider an equal not only as a friend, but in strength as well.
Asmodeus
A demigod…? Oooo, he hadn’t come across one of those since he bedded Aeneas all those centuries ago… Such a gorgeous man, got all his looks from his mother~! 🤭
Asmo was probably the most interested in their godly heritage, but it felt like he was treating them like a zoo exhibit for a while… Something pretty and new to look at, but not exactly someone he wanted to know personally...
He openly and readily admitted that watching their little demigod in action got him hot and bothered (or well, more hot and bothered than usual ) but it didn’t take him to see they weren’t interested at the time…
He decided that he just had to have a pact with them after they saved him from Henry 1.0! It was before he noticed the giant snake and he was lurching back to strike, but the human swept in to knock him out of the way. They probably could have made mince meat of the creature themselves if Levi weren’t begging for them to spare his former pet...
Post-pact Asmo treated them with a lot more respect… but also still fanboyed over their fighting skills hardcore.
Like, their body had to be fit to keep up with all those monsters, right?? What was their training routine? Could he watch?? Oh please say he can watch!! He just can’t get enough of that fighter’s physique…! 😍
Beelzebub
So… the human isn’t a human but only part human? And the other part is a god? Does that make them any sturdier than normal humans…? Call him curious…
Beel was probably one of the few brothers who was legitimately weary of the MC from the beginning… He can get a certain feel for a person pretty quickly and something about them just felt…frankly, kind of dangerous.
But they also intrigued him a little… Beel’s used to being one of the strongest demons in any room he walks into (not a boast, just a fact) so for him to get that feel from a mortal was pretty impressive. A part of him just wanted to test them… you know?
So. He did. He asked them to help him train his martial arts one day and even with his awareness, he was not expecting the results that he got.
The MC was strong. Very strong. They were not only able to keep up with him and dodge his blows, but they were able to predict his moves and counterattack in kind. They didn’t even need to tell him that they had actually been fighting for their life for years, he could tell. They had a skill you don’t get from practice matches...
After that point, the two would go to each other to train and keep their skills sharp… but also just to spar for fun. Their fighting styles made a pretty good match and they bonded pretty damn quick because of it.
If anime tells us anything, when you find a good fight buddy, you stick with them. Even if one’s part god and the other is a demon. 🤷‍♀️
Belphegor
A demigod is still human enough to hate, sorry MC. Not that he knew about their godly heritage at first…
Really, he should have been a little more suspicious of how easily they seemed to take to life in the Devildom... Weren’t demons supposed to scare humans? Why did they seem so comfortable down here...?
His confirmation only came when he tried to enact the final part of “Use the MC to Escape the Attic!” plan and take their life to seal the deal… but oh boy, was he outclassed real quick…
The MC had already socked him in the jaw by the time he got his full demon form out and then they threw him across the room by the tail… the TAIL!! And it hurt like a bitch, too!! Even during the full blown fight that followed, he could tell they were holding back and it pissed him off something fierce...!
Why was the MC so strong?!? Humans weren’t supposed to be strong!!!
His brothers heard all the commotion and the Lilith confrontation ended up happening up in the attic between a somewhat beat-up Belphie and a barely-scratched MC. Had Beel not come to his defense on instinct, it might have turned out worse for him in all honesty… Something about that human just wasn’t right…
He only found out about their god-half after everything settled down and he promised not to try killing them again (not that anyone thought he could...) and that put some things into perspective. So the Lastborn Ruler of Hell isn’t as strong as one mortal demigod…? Ouch. Okay, fine then... Whatever...
He does think it’s too bad he missed them beating the crap out of the rest of his brothers, though (minus Beel)... That would have been fun to see. 😔
So I tried to keep this one God-parent neutral, but I’ve upgraded this to its own series! Check it out if you’re interested! 😊

SAITAMA URAMI EAST JUNIOR HIGH - 1ST YEAR
“Here you go, you’ll need this”
Turning his head to look up, Fushiguro quickly noticed someone standing over him with their hand stretched out in front of him leading his eyes to peer down, only to notice a bandage wrap within the palm of their hands causing him to turn away as if he was looking away in disgust.
“Here you go, you’ll need this, you drag,” you repeated with the insult causing an irk to appear on Fushiguro’s forehead before turning to look at you with an annoyed expression present on his face.
“Go away, I don’t need it,” Fushiguro mentioned with some hint of annoyance and irritation within his tone causing the same irk to appear on your forehead as you then turned your head to look at the pile of beaten bodies that were behind him - an unsightly common sight since you enrolled into Saitama Urami East Junior High.
Sighing out loud, you suddenly grabbed the back of Fushiguro’s collar and began dragging him across the floor towards the bench that was close by (much to Fushiguro’s annoyance) and threw his body slight causing his upper shoulder area to hit the wooden side of the bench which lead him to hiss in pain.
“I don’t need it~ well sounds like you do,” you teased in a nonchalant manner causing Fushiguro to give you a sharp glare only to see that you had no reaction to it. Reaching into your blazer pocket, you took out a box of painkillers with some plasters in different sizes and a small pot of ointment before placing them on the outdoor bench.
“Don’t bother your sister too much...okay?” you rhetorically asked your classmate before turning back to walk away from the situation since you knew Fushiguro was going to question you on your knowledge about his sister even though he - on the outside - never really took the time to appreciate her or showed that he cared.
“What a drag,” you commented with another sigh before stretching your arms down to release the act that was slowly creeping its way to your shoulders as some students began to exit out of the school building to eat their lunch causing them to notice you as you gave them a little wave.
A FEW WEEKS LATER
Ever since that day, Fushiguro couldn’t help but begin to notice you slightly from the corner of his eyes as each day went by. At first, you sort of blended into the crowd in the sea of uniforms that was travelling around in the hallway, seeming to not want any attention from the teachers nor the students alike yet you seemed to somehow attract them leading you to offer the same small smile that he had somewhat gotten used to.
On the other hand, Fushiguro couldn’t help but get slightly annoyed at how your name was being called by the second, it was always “Y/N” this or “Y/N” that since you hated your last name being called. As in a matter of fact, he didn’t even have any acknowledgement or a hint of a clue of what your last name was at all. However, when you would say your name in your own tone, Fushiguro slowly began to notice how he then wouldn't get irritated causing a wave of confusion to hit him every time he would wonder why.
“Y/N, aren’t you going to participate in the elections for the student council, the teachers have nominated you?” one female student asked in a light tone causing Fushiguro to peak slightly over his arm as he was taking a nap for this lunch break, only to see you holding a book with a few other female students surrounding you.
“Nah, it’s such a drag...I don’t like taking responsibility for things,” you commented softly as you placed your thumb over the last word you were reading to keep a hold of your place causing the students around you to become confused before asking more questions causing some of your answers to perplex the erratic haired boy himself.
“I’m not good at organising things”
“I don’t have the time”
“I don’t like helping people”
“Liar,” Fushiguro muttered under his breath before closing his eyes again to fall into a quick nap while repeating the last words you had said to the students around you.
“I don’t like helping people”
If you really didn’t like helping people, then why did you help him a few weeks ago? As well as leaving some first aid kit items on his table at the end of lunch to restock shall he say? Sure, you had helped other people here and there from letting them copy your notes to little study sessions during lunch to help the other person concentrate but he was wondering why you would help a delinquent like him...but further yet, why didn’t you ask for anything in return.
“Y/N, I found you,” someone shouted, causing Fushiguro’s ears to spike up once he knew the familiar tone to the voice that decided to enter the conversation.
“I wanted to apologise for Megumi’s behaviour for the past weeks and wanted to pay you back for the medical items you had given him,” Tsumiki informed you causing Fushiguro to slowly open his eyes again to see Tsumiki’s arm outstretched with some cash within her palm while you looked down on at with a hint of disappointment in your face.
“Don’t bother your sister too much...okay?”
Placing your bookmark on the page you were on, you gently placed it down before folding Tsumiki’s fingers over the money she was kindly offering you as payment, leading her to give you a surprising expression since, with that action, she instantly knew you were declining.
“Don’t worry, you don’t have to repay me...Just take care of him, okay?” you mentioned with a soft tone before smiling up at your senior leading Fushiguro’s curiosity about you to heighten up even further than it was at the beginning.
“I don’t like helping people”
SAITAMA URAMI EAST JUNIOR HIGH - 2ND YEAR
Walking in the school hallways, Fushiguro couldn’t help but notice how the gloomy and mundane weather was reflecting everyone’s mood as it seemed as if everyone had a lack of energy this morning and to be honest, he couldn’t blame them one single bit.
It was the day after, Tsumiki decided to attempt the test of courage at Yasohachi Bridge causing her to become cursed as she fell into a sudden coma causing guilt to begin eating him almost wholly as he took each step in the hallway.
From what he recalled, Gojo had mentioned that Tsumiki was somewhat saved by a cursed technique leading her to not become physically injured at the attempt of jumping off, yet that didn’t save her from the curse that fell upon her since the lingering reverse cursed energy that was surrounding her body wasn’t enough or effective on her and the other students that decided to tag along with her leading him to wonder who was the person that tried to save his sister and her friends from that night.
Suddenly, Fushiguro heard something drop from behind causing him to turn his body completely, only to discover a fallen student leading him to widen his eyes on the sight before crouching down to check the pulse of the person only to discover that they were fine, as he then processed to turn his head to the side where more students from the classroom beside him began to drop one by one leading him to become more panicked since this was just the day after Tsumiki’s curse.
Unexpatantly, Fushiguro heard someone beginning to run towards his direction causing him to turn his head once again, only to find you running towards him with a somewhat worried expression on your face as you began to look at each classroom to see all the students within them passed out.
“Fushiguro!” you shouted in a panic leading him to quickly stand up on his feet as he reached out to you so he could rush you out of the school building to get you to Gojo to ensure your safety. If you were able to help him multiple times, maybe this time he could help you as his repayment.
Grabbing your hand, Fushiguro turned to his feet to begin running but for some reason, you weren’t running with him due to the halt of his movements when trying to pull you towards the exit of the school.
“Y/N, what are you doing? We got to run!” Fushiguro shouted in anger as he turned his head to face you eye to eye, only to come into eye contact with dark but glowing purple eyes causing his body to slowly become limp as his vision began to become gradually disorientated as an illusion of purple cherry blossoms began to fall around the both of you.
“Hakufuku”
Suddenly, Fushiguro began to lose his footing causing his body to quickly fall, only for you to catch him in your arms as you slowly lowered yourself to make sure his body didn’t harshly hit the floor due to any injuries he had gained from yesterday’s fight as you laid him on his side.
“Sorry, Fushiguro,” you whispered with a hint of regret before rapidly standing back up to run the other way which seemed towards the school’s computer’s system leading him slowly turn his head as he struggled to reach out towards your direction before the same arm dropped completely while his mind began to grow blank while your figure steadily disappeared from his sights while his memories of you began to gradually fade as he tried to maintain them with such difficulty.
“Y/N…”
THE DAY BEFORE THE MISSON
“You’ve been reading those books for quite some time, you know”
Turning your head away from the book placed upon your lap, you discovered Gojo in front of you with a teasing smile on his face as his body was leaning on the side of the doorway he had entered from.
“Well, there are quite a few to go through,” you muttered as you turned your head to the other side to see two piles of stacked up books that were somewhat in equal height right now with one pile of the books that you needed to read while the other was the books you had finished reading during the past weeks since you had moved into the Gojo’s clan estate.
From what you could recall the day you stepped foot into Gojo’s house, he had surprisingly guided you into a room that was filled with bookshelves that had books comfortably sitting in its place causing your eyes to widen at the sight only for him to inform you that all that books had belonged in your name.
“All of them belong to me?” you remembered asking leading your adoptive father to giggle slightly at your confused and flustered state as you began to roam around the pathway the bookshelves had given you, only to land on a particular shelf that had books written from your clan to which seemed to be addressed to you.
“I see you found the books, your mother was really smart to lock them and make sure you’re the only person who could read them,” Gojo mentioned to you when he had found you staring at them leading you to turn to him with a perplexed expression only for him to further explain that whenever he tried to touch the weathered spine of the book he would feel an invisible barrier blocking his movements and even when he attempted to use his infinity, there was no use.
However, when it was you, it just seemed like a normal book due to how easily you pull gently and carefully pull it out of the shelf and open it, only for Gojo to comment that all he could see what blank pages yet sense the linger cursed energy that was coming through the paper-based artefact. While on the other hand, you were able to view the elegant black brush strokes gracing the paper which was slightly confusing since you weren’t able to fully comprehend the poetic and outdated Japanese due to how influential the Chinese language was during the Heian era.
“I can’t believe you are technically older than me~” Gojo teased while wiping a fake tear from the corner of his eye, causing you to immediately snap out of your daydream to fully turn to him with a completely annoyed expression painted on your face.
“I DIDN’T AGE ONCE DURING MY SEALING, YOU DRAG!” you screamed in irritation causing the servant who was coming to serve you some tea to stumble slightly before regaining her balance as she let out a sigh of relief, leading you to deeply apologise to her before rushing up to your feet to help her on carrying the wooden, circular tea tray that she was holding on for you.
“I wish I got to see you grow into the woman that you are by the time you are reading this, but may you bloom into the sorcerer that you dream to be” - Your mother.
                                            ꕥ
“GOJO! GOJO!”
Slowly, from the loud shouting that was going on, you began to groan in annoyance while opening your eyes to find Itadori and Kugisaki kneeling in front of you with panicked expressions residing in their faces before steadily turning into relief once they noticed that you were smiling at them.
“Good job,” you whispered to them before resting your head back on the tree you were leaning on causing them to smile brightly back at you before high-fiving each other as they shouted on how relief they were as they already had a fright when they discovered Fushiguro laying on their ground before trying to find you.
“Did you collect the finger?” you questioned your classmates leading them to all freeze in a panic since they didn’t expect you to know about the issue with the special curse that was lingering within the domain that you were all previously in. As a matter of fact, you had already sensed it a few moments ago as well those three years back when you were in middle school.
“Ah...about that...Itadori ate it…” Fushiguro muttered in embarrassment, causing you to look at him with a blank stare before turning your head towards Itadori, who was now looking at you with a ‘trying to be innocent’ expression on his face as he scratched his cheek with his index finger.
“Sorry, Gojo...It was an accident,” Itadori stuttered in a light tone, while you continued to give him the blank expression before hitting his head with the handle of your katana causing him to hold the area while wincing in pain as you began to stand up on your feet.
“HEY! YOU FOUR!”
Due to the sudden shouting, everyone head’s to shot up to find Nitta screaming at you and your classmates from above while waving her fist in such an erratic way, trying to emphasise her anger to all of you at this current moment in time.
“What have you four been doing? You wouldn’t answer my calls!” Nitta yelled, causing her voice to echo throughout the entire area causing you to wonder if anyone had turned on their lights due to the loud interruptions from their sleep.
“Oh, Nitta-san,” Itadori called out in surprise as he stared up at the irritated woman.
“She’s lost it,” Kugisaki mentioned, as she too was observing the shouting fit that all four of you were enduring right now.
“Well, shall we go home?” Itadori asked as he turned around to face you, leading the other two first-years to turn to look at you as well causing your eyebrows to raise up
‘Ah...I guess I did think about running away for a second....’
“Yeah, let’s go home,” you answered back before beginning to walk forward leaving Itadori and Kugisaki to talk about having Spendud Sushi as dinner while Nitta was continuing to yell at all four of you from above.
“I know as time passes, the more the Earth will push its fangs upon your shoulder and it’s completely my fault and I deeply apologise from the bottom of my heart. I knew the day that I was blessed with you that I desired nothing more than to give you the easiest route away from all the troubles the Zenin clan had put on us, away from the Jujutsu world and away from the loneliness that you will come face to face once I and your father are gone. I adore you with all my heart and want nothing more than your heart to be blessed with trust, happiness and comfort. Wherever you are, just know that I will always look after you, no matter how long I have to wait, I will always be the mother that I wished I could be for you” - Your mother.
                                               ꕥ
“Why did you leave?”
Turning your head to the side, you found Fushiguro standing on the wooden terrace that you were sitting on with a stern look on his face while you just blinked at him before turning your head to face the garden with a book laying upon your lap as you tried a way to figure out how to bring up the topic that you tried to avoid since coming into acquaintance with the shikigami sorcerer.
“What do you mean?” you asked before closing the book in such a gentle manner, worried that you could damage more than it already was - even if it was such in a good condition after enduring itself for 1000 years.
“Why did you leave? Why did you erase my memory? Why did you go?” Fushiguro queried once again, as he decided to take a seat next to you causing anyone who would see both of you and Fushiguro to notice the contrast in your outfits. At this current moment in time, you were wearing a simple yukata due to being at Gojo’s estate - it was common/courtesy to wear traditional clothing - while Fushiguo was wearing a white jumper with what seemed to be black joggers along with some trainers causing you to come to the assumption that he had either can to talk to you or train with Gojo again like he did last time.
“I’m sorry Fushiguro...but I had to do it,” you answered before grabbing the cup of tea that was sitting right beside you as you then took a sip of the warm drink leading some of your nerves to calm down as you also took a deep breath.
“Why didn’t you stay?” Fushiguro questioned again in a low tone while staring down at the ground trying to compose himself as more memories of you began to steadily flow in.
“It was too risky,” you answered again as you continued to stare at the garden that was blooming in front of you before turning your head to look at your classmate, who seemed to be in deep thought about the response you had just given him.
“I never got to repay you back from the kindness you had given me,” Fushiguro mentioned as he turned his head up to look at you, only to make eye contact leading the memories of your technique to come into his mind.
“I don’t need a repayment, I just did what I wanted to help you,” you replied back as you placed your cup down onto the wooden tray before laying your upper body down on the terrace while your legs were handing off to the side causing your hair to splay across the wooden platform the both of you were sitting on right now.
“But you don’t like helping people,” Fushiguro quickly mentioned as he turned his head to face you, causing your eyes to move from the sky above you to the boy that was now looking at you with a somewhat small smile planted upon his face causing you to remember the conversation that you had with him and Kugisaki about not telling Itadori the reason why numerous amount of cursed fingers that have been popping up recently - making you come to the realisation that he was technically asking you and Kugisaki to help him keep the guilt away from the vessel of Sukuna himself.
“Yeah...I don’t like helping people,” you answered with the same smile as he was presenting you, causing a light giggle to arise from the both of you.
‘I’ll recommend them for a promotion later...’
“Whoever you fall for the sky for, my dear. I wish you nothing but the world’s blessing to fall upon the two of you. May all the flowers that come to bloom will bring you grace and tenderness that you deserve, the same feelings that I wish I could provide to you as a mother like how the sun gives you its warmth” - Your mother.

GET IT TOGETHER, JUNGWON!!
[ four. O_o Yang Jungwonnie ]
series masterlist
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
⋆·˚ ༘ * in which jungwon had meant for that love letter to go to yeri, and not you—her bff. for some reason though, he finds that with each moment he spends together with you he's closer and closer to forgetting all about that damn letter.
luv note - chloe moriondo
WRITTEN PORTION. 1.9k words
btw remember that second hand embarrassment tag?? yeahh....
ps. this is bad, very, very bad and cheesy so be warned (its meant to be, but youll still feel pain lol)
student council room.
Jungwon could feel his hands clamming up, but he instead urged himself to just swallow down his nerves. For the past week he thought the biggest worry he had was his parents and Student Council work.
Not potentially losing friendships and breaking your heart.
"Jungwon? Are you still there?" your voice asked. It was slightly muffled by the door, but still distinct. "I had to tell Hyuka to go back without me."
You, he remembered. He had to fix this. He had known you since you were both in kindergarten, incidentally somehow being in the same classes up until High School. Still, he didn't know you though.
You were closer than acquaintances, maybe a little less than friends, and definitely not more than people with mutual friends. With everything that had been happening since the Student Council election, he had assumed he'd get closer to you naturally. It just never happened though, but he enjoyed your company when he could.
Yeri on the other hand, he was connected with. Being both Student Council President and Vice President meant they worked together often, and he found himself being drawn to her sweetness. He enjoyed their dynamic and their current friendship.
The way they worked complemented each other, and she always found a way to make him smile—it seemed as though her kindness and generosity knew no bounds. Plus, she related to him in a way none of his other friends did.
Late, after class and after hours, they'd both talk casually while doing paperwork. Jungwon's parents were hardheaded and stubborn people, wanting the best for him and yet stressing him out. They were the whole reason he ran for President in the first place.
He couldn't find it in himself to hate them though.
Yeri was the same, and she supported him throughout all the difficult times he went through because of them. She was soft, so level headed, fiercely loyal, and unbelievably pretty.
They had been partners and friends for a little over a month, and Jungwon was sure he wanted to at least try with her. It was young, new and unfurling feelings, it was something he wanted to find out.
Your energetic personality was charming, but that was all it was. It didn't strike his heart in any particular way. Jungwon was almost 100% sure there was no way Yeri would ever date him after this, but he needed to prioritize your feelings currently.
He just hoped Yeri and him could still be friends afterwards though—because being a liar was the one thing Jungwon wasn't.
"Yeah," he called out, "still here. You can just come back in now."
He watched as you nervously peeled back the sliding door of the clubroom, inching inside to peer at him. You walked closer to stand in front of him, and Jungwon smiled in hopes of easing your anxiousness.
You threw one back, although a bit hesitantly. "Jungwon," you started, twiddling with your fingers. He simply watched—wanting to at least let you talk a bit. Crushing your feelings now would be nothing but brutal. "Honestly, I was really surprised with the letter. Do you... remember back in 3rd grade?"
"No? I'm sorry, I'm not good with memories from Elementary School," the doe-eyed boy replied. He was telling the truth, grade school felt like ages ago and he just hasn't had the time to reminisce on childhood memories.
You held your hands up in a defensive manner. "That's fine! Um, you like... Uhh, how do I say this..." You made gestures with your figures, hoping to convey it to him in one way or another. God, this was dumb.
Jungwon observed silently as you laughed at your own stuttering. Endearing, came to mind. That was cute.
In the Council Room and in class, you were always particularly enthusiastic and excitable. Seeing you bashful was a very different side of you for the black-haired boy.
"I sent you my own love letter once. Like, a long, long time ago, and you sort of rejected me? I think."
"You think?" The boy held back a laugh, but quickly composed himself. He wasn't laughing maliciously, just... how could you be unsure of such a thing? "I'm sorry, but I still don't remember."
"Yeah, that's fine!" You nodded, embarrassed from his almost-chuckle. You did not want to seem like an idiot in front of him today. "Actually, I don't remember much either, but you didn't reply to it."
Jungwon gazed at your brows furrowed from trying to think of more words to say, and suddenly he felt a tonne of guilt fall onto him. His expression grew solemn.
Quick, get it over with, before this would get any worse.
"Look, YN—"
He had to shut his mouth almost immediately.
"What I'm trying to say is—!" You took a deep breath. "I've liked you since then! Since years, and years ago," you finally blurted, closing your eyes as to not see his reaction.
"You're the only one I've ever felt this way towards. I thought once I grew up this warmth would just... go away, but it hasn't and I don't think it will. I was honestly going to just swallow it all down hoping I'd get over it before we graduate, but I couldn't. My feelings were overflowing—I just found myself finding more things about I liked about you instead."
Your goal today was to not embarrass yourself, but to hastily tell him you liked him too before sprinting away. It seemed as though nothing was going to plan so far, for neither of you, actually.
Jungwon was left unable to speak from your surprising declaration. You took that as a sign to continue. Whatever happened next was something for future you to panic over.
"I like your dimples, that smile you make when you're passing by strangers in the hallway, and the way your hair falls when you comb through it. You're admirable in everything you do, truly. The way you help underclassmen, the way you always make sure to assist teachers during your free periods, and how you never seem to complain or get frustrated when we make mistakes."
You had nurtured your feelings for what felt like forever. Even when you were technically rejected back then, and even now. At first, you thought that he would be a passing crush from when you were a kid—but he wasn't. He grew into his own so much so that you found yourself admiring his leadership, compassion and thoughtfulness with each day you watched him.
"I like how mature you are, how you still find the time to care for your friends even with Student Council work, the natural way you light up any room you walk into, how I could honestly hear your voice talk for hours on end, how even though we haven't spoken much you still remember my favorite color from when I told you during introductions, I'm rambling gahh, just—all of it! I like all of it, everything about you!"
Everyday of harboring your secret affections for the boy consisted of soft glances during his speeches, wishes to be able to encase his hand within yours to interlock your fingers under the table during meetings, and wantings to be more than what you were to him. It was alright for a while, but it had started to become painful.
All crushes are painful, you told yourself in 5th grade, watching him start to receive confessions from your classmates.
"—I like you! I've liked you since the 3rd grade, and so I accept! I really, really want to be with you Yang Jungwon. Please take care of me!"
They were all painful, but you were given the chance to make yours not. To make your feelings real and acknowledged, to bare yourself in front of him like a vivisection—and you were taking it. Even when you were practically trembling from the embarrassment.
Jungwon was stilled from the shock. Heeseung had already told him of your long held feelings, but hearing it from your mouth while you had your eyes shut tight made him flustered.
How were you able to do that so shamelessly? To be so vulnerable and weak in front of someone? He had to write a whole letter, albeit a bit poorly, and somehow you were able to say it all.
He's received confessions before, felt those kind of feelings, but he wouldn't have been able to yell out those sort of things ever—no matter how strong his feelings were. You were dangerously bold, he thought.
Bold enough to send a bright heat to overtake his cheeks.
You looked up finally after mustering enough courage from his lack of speaking, only to find yourself blinking at a red-faced Jungwon. Oh my God, he's blushing...! YOU did that.
The both of you stood there for a while, thinking the same thought of what is even happening? Is this real, or have I just been in a daze for the past few days? Jungwon's eyes were comically wide and his mouth was gaping, but he couldn't find it in himself to close it.
The thought made you gain confidence all of a sudden, finding the opportunity to do something you had always wanted to do. Quickly and stealthily, you went onto your tippy toes—
and kissed him on the cheek.
Jungwon felt your lips on the smooth expanse of his skin, and smelt your scent from the intimate proximity. It was a chaste gesture, almost no where close to his lips at all, but he heard his heart beating against his ribcage nonetheless. It thrummed in his ears like a drum, and he wanted to whisper for it to stop.
For it to not be swayed so easily.
It was the innocence of such a thing that got to him. Not once had Jungwon held hands, kissed, or even confessed to someone up until now. Of course, you suddenly getting so close and pecking him with your hands balled up would send his heart into a flurry.
The usually put together Student Council President in front of you let out a strangled noise from the back of his throat, the tips of his ears and face becoming rosier. His throat was closing up, God, why was his throat closing up? Not now, please. He couldn't even remember what he was meant to be saying.
You smiled at him, happy to be rendering him to such a state. It was one of the most impulsive things you've done up to date, but you couldn't find yourself regretting it.
This was what those coming of age dramas on TV were describing—it was the start of one of those cheesy, really bad High School romances. Fervent, mushy, uncertain, but so tender it made your heart ache for hours even after watching.
As you retreated slowly, he caught a glimpse of your bright eyes, downcast lashes, and—holy shit you were so close. He could see the particular way you curled your lips.
He had to hold his breath.
Jungwon watched as your expression morphed into one of slight mischievousness, and an inkling of something softer, before you dashed out the sliding doors—
"Wait!
The sudden motion made him gain his words back, but you were already through the hallways with your hand on your bag.
—leaving him with nothing but the memory and the patter of your footsteps. So fast, so much speed, were you in track? The past few seconds were nothing but a blur of confusion and feelings he didn't want felt.
What just... What just happened?

I’ve been watching the anime Vampire Knight again and my mind is going insane. Like...I am absolutely crazy for spending so much time on this. Below the cut is me brainstorming and running away with an idea.
Imagine going to a private university where the student body is split in two parts. The day class and the night class. These two classes never cross as it is forbidden. The day class knows nothing more than that there is a night class, but the rest is a mystery. Not a single student of the light has seen a night time student. The daytime students do not know the the school’s dark secret. They do not know that the night class is full of vampires, vampires who wish to turn away from their evil natures. Though they are learning to keep their inner monsters at bay, they are still a potential danger to the day students, hence the separation.
You are the president of the women’s dormitories, and also part of the night watch. One night, after reprimanding two wandering students and sending them back to their dorm, you are confronted by two dashingly beautiful men. They wear uniforms with the school’s emblem, but you’ve never seen them before. It dawns on you that these must be students from the enigmatic night class. Their otherworldly beauty, their sharp fangs, their glowing eyes....everything about them seems...inhuman. Before you can blink, they close in on you, and then everything turns black.
When you awake, you realize much to your horror and confusion that you are not in your dorm. You’re in an unknown place. Soon you’re surrounded by a group of men, all who share the quality of dazzling beauty. As they gaze upon you with illuminated eyes, you realize that the night class is more than a class of students...it is a coven of vampires. You wonder what in the world you’ve been dragged into.
The Night Class
Tumblr media
Hongjoong; Night class student president; president of the men’s dormitory (night class); level A/pure blood vampire
Hongjoong was the first student in Cross Academy’s night class
Befriended the Headmaster many years ago and the two shared a common interest: to see humans and vampires living harmoniously
Hongjoong originally fed on humans, but after meeting the Headmaster, decided to change his ways and fight against his own nature
Hongjoong helped give way to Headmaster’s dream of using Cross Academy as a way for vampires to better themselves
Hongjoong is several centuries old
He is a pure blood within level A, the top tier of the vampire class system, making him one of the most powerful and feared vampires around
The Kim family is one of the few remaining pure blood families
Saved the reader many years ago when she was only a small child from being killed by a vampire
Cared for her through the night and brought her to the Headmaster’s doorstep
Hongjoong follows the university’s strict rule of keeping himself and the night class hidden, despite wanting to check up on the reader who does not remember him
He is a kind vampire, but has a stained past which he tries to overcome
Is respected amongst both the school’s night class students and the vampire realm
Though he does get flack from the Vampire Council for trying to resist his vampire nature and being so friendly with humans
Tumblr media
Seonghwa; Night class student secretary; right hand to the night class president; level A/pure blood vampire
Seonghwa is an old friend to Hongjoong, the two of them knowing each other for centuries
He is older than Hongjoong
Did not agree with Hongjoong’s theology at first, but eventually decided to join him at the academy
Seonghwa often acts as Hongjoong’s voice of reason, mostly because he helps keep the rest of the night class in check
If Hongjoong is away, Seonghwa acts as temporary president
Is a bit less ruthless than Hongjoong in terms of discipline, and he often gets called the “mother of the night class” due to his nurturing nature
He is a pure blooded vampire from the Park family, another powerful vampire line
He is not too fond of humans per se, but tries to follow along with Hongjoong, and tries to understand that their lives are precious
Him and Hongjoong both rely the least on blood pills (pills that act as a placebo to quench a vampire’s desire for actual blood from humans) due to having been in the academy the longest
Tumblr media
Yunho; Day watcher/enforcer for the night class; hunter; level B/aristocratic vampire
Unlike the former two vampires, Yunho is not a pure blood
Meaning somewhere in his ancestry there are humans who’d been turned
Comes from a wealthy family, earning him the status of level B vampire
Has always been kind to humans somewhat, never preying on the innocent but instead preying on the evil, wrong doing humans like criminals
Befriends the Headmaster and joins the academy by his request
It doesn’t take long for Yunho to fall in line with the hope of one day living along side humans
Yunho watches over the night class section of campus and its dorms during the day to make sure no day students wander too close.
Carries out punishments to night class students at Hongjoong’s judgement
Often aids the Vampire Council in hunting and eliminating rogue level D vampires
Will also follow Hongjoong along side his missions to recruit more vampires into the academy
Is slowly trying to become less reliant on blood pills
Tumblr media
Yeosang; Night class’ top student; scholar; level B/aristocratic vampire
Yeosang was recruited by Hongjoong to join, but at first was unwilling to join
He only decided to go to Cross Academy because of his ages old friend, Wooyoung
He’s an extremely picky eater
Always preyed on humans with a certain blood type and humans that came from high society families
After coming to the academy, Yeosang struggled with denying his bloodlust
His dislike for the blood pills didn’t help
Learned to keep it under control when he decided to just hunt for animals around the university’s campus
Is indifferent about wanting to be harmonious with humans
Despite this, he is the top student of the night class, having shown the most growth and progress
He’s a man of knowledge, loves to spend time in the library
He’s very sharp tongued, and often makes condescending quips about the other night class vampires, especially San
Does not use blood pills, rather he just feeds straight from animals
Tumblr media
San; Night class transporter/gatekeeper; level C/common vampire
He’s in charge of leading the night class from their dorms to the main building
He makes sure all the day students are out of the building and classrooms
Usually has to wait for an all clear from the Headmaster
San was the first commoner, level C vampire to enroll at Cross Academy
Commoner vampires are normal, every day people, usually they are the vampires that walk amongst humans the most
San is incredibly powerful for a level C, and this is why Hongjoong recruited him
Isn’t quite sure how he feels about denying his vampire nature, but his respect for Hongjoong and his close lineage to humans compels him to try
Wooyoung is his companion, whether romantically or platonically is something the night class is always trying to find out
The two are inseparable
San came before Wooyoung, and when the latter first started at the academy, the two vampires quickly bonded over both being level C’s
San requires many blood pills a day
Being a level C means there is a lot of humanity in his lineage which also makes him most likely to go berserk and turn into a level D vampire, a mindless feral being
Tumblr media
Mingi; Night class bookkeeper; scribe; level A/pure blood vampire
Mingi is somewhat of a right hand to the right hand
He often aids Seonghwa in managing the more tedious side parts of the night class, like paperwork
Mingi keeps record of all complaints, new students, dorm inspections, punishments, and schedules for each day
He also tends to the library as well as the music/recreation hall
Yunho is responsible for his presence at the academy
Mingi quickly earns respect from Hongjoong, and becomes Hongjoong’s left hand man with Seonghwa as his right
Mingi is tender hearted, and always struggled with his vampire nature
Feeding on humans was something he never enjoyed, a strange trait for a being with not a single ounce of humanity in his bloodline
Mingi often acts the source of cheer amongst the night class
He likes to compose, and sometimes he will play for the other vampires to allow everyone to unwind
The Song family was always close with the Jeong family, and because of this Yunho and Mingi have known each for a very long time
Does not rely on blood pills all that much, but takes them as soon as he feels any amount thirst for blood because he does not like the feeling of bloodlust and the way it reminds him of how evil his kind is
Tumblr media
Wooyoung; Class socialite; level C/common vampire
Wooyoung is a common vampire like San, but this does not keep him from befriending vampires of all classes
He is very extroverted, and Hongjoong believes his love for socializing will one day help bring humans and vampires together
Wooyoung has no official role within the night class, but helps where he can
He maintains an upbeat atmosphere within the class along with Mingi
He often gets on the other vampires’ nerves, especially Seonghwa
He loves to cause mischief and naturally Seonghwa is the victim more often than not
Yeosang is a common target as well, but he remains aloof to his friend’s shenanigans
Wooyoung learned very quickly on to never pull anything on Hongjoong, he was scolded by the elder vampire so bad that he refused to leave his dorm room for a week
He’s always with San, and secretly loves it when Yeosang makes jests about them being a “couple”
Wooyoung often attempts to sneak around the day class dorms, just to take a peek, but Jongho always catches him
He takes blood pills regularly
Tumblr media
Jongho; Day watcher/enforcer for the night class; hunter; level B/aristocratic vampire
Jongho has a reputation amongst the vampire realm of being a champion hunter
His strength knows very few rivals despite him being a fairly young vampire
Was commissioned by the Council centuries ago to be a hunter
Jongho mainly hunts level D vampires now, especially after enrolling at the university
But he used to hunt vampire hunters - humans who specialize in eliminating vampires of all levels
Jongho’s strength is normally enough of a deterrent to keep night class students from pulling anything stupid
Though Wooyoung often pushes his luck
With Yunho, the night class section of the campus is secure
Isn’t exactly onboard with Hongjoong and Headmaster’s ideals
He sees humans as lesser than
But Hongjoong is working with him, and slowly Jongho is beginning to reform
He may be the youngest, but everyone (even Hongjoong) is somewhat intimidated by him
Tumblr media
The Day Class
Tumblr media
Reader; Night watcher/enforcer for the day class; president of the women’s dormitory; human
When you were young, you were out with your family one evening
You were attacked by a strange man
He killed your parents right before your eyes
Before he could harm you, someone rescued you
Your savior had the same glowing eyes as the man who killed your parents, but for some reason, you trusted him
He was so kind to you, and even brought you to someone who could take care of you
You don’t remember him in the years to come, save for his glowing eyes
But as the years pass, you dream of his eyes, wondering if you’ll ever find him one day
The academy’s Headmaster raises you as his own, and naturally when it came time for you to attend university, you chose to attend Cross Academy
You take your role as dorm president seriously
And you never miss a shift as night watcher
With all your responsibilities, you don’t have much free time
But late at night while you rest, you ponder about the night class
Your father never tells you anything when you ask
Something tells you there’s more to it all, more to the story
Fortunately, or maybe not so fortunately, you find out the mystery soon enough

within summer blooms. (which taunt you.)
Tumblr media
nagito k. / fem ghost! reader.
tags: angst, no happy ending, right person wrong time, major character death, hurt no comfort (kinda).
writting is not checked: we die like ghost! reader.
(reader is the former ultimate gardener, yes…it’s important to the story.)
small inspirations from animes you might know! (or not.) ; tbhk (mitsuba/kou and…tsukasa) and madoka magica. …mostly tbhk.
this was requested by @adelia-chan ! ☆ thank you!
nagito always had horrible luck.
no matter where he went, it would end in ways that nobody has seen before. it was a shame to be unlucky, but with the ways of luck, things never change, not even for the victims of despair…
yet, trapped inside of hope’s peak academy was a strange yet non surprising way he got trapped. summer break was coming sooner than expected, so most students rush to do something to celebrate on their finale exams; college exams. leaving lesser students to do all of the cleaning, which nagito was one of them. . .
and when nagito was finishing up his duties it was only him left, and everyone always forgets about him so the school was left to close for the afternoon. it was stupidly his luck, that left him in this way and staying over night might get him in trouble, so finding a way to get out would be the most important.
and to his disappointment, every door was sealed shut. not even with any of his tricks it wouldn’t work. although he did remember when he did knock down a door accidentally, due to his luck. so the student council has to make all of the doors: “nagito-proof” it makes him a weridly thankful that they could name something out of something he did.
which during his entire rant, on how thankful he is to be part of such a delight indeed, a ghost, who was actually in the middle of going to her (old) garden saw the pale-haired boy infront of the door.
you weren’t really into the fact that he was rambling into something, you just had to make sure he was ok. yet, you forgot that people have known to be afraid of ghost…which you are.
“hey, are you ok?” you replied to the boys, thoughts of respect.
and yet, you were scared.
if he gets scared like the people, who you simply need to know if that they remember correctly that it was you, their friend.
and if they don’t, it wouldn’t end that much well for you. especially with the stupidly naive deal you made to see everyone again, family, friends. it was your only chance, so taking it would be a final way to say goodbye.
correct?
it was a silent pause into nagitos thoughts. it was extremely his bad luck knowing that he is stuck inside his school, know with a ghost who is in front of him, with concern in their eyes.
“hey…hey! are you ok? the more you stare at me the more my flowers are going to wilt!” you snarled at the boy, not knowing what to do.
it was only a few minutes anyways and he finally spoke even with all the questions his head.
seeing ghosts face to face are a thing that nobody has truly seen.
yet to him, he has seen one. not only is that “unlucky.” it is truly lucky. maybe he can learn more about death more. he’s not afraid of it, maybe.
you facepalm at the boy, currently you were going to get to your garden, and now your stuck with a person who isn’t even afraid of you.
he was just shocked. your smirked for a little, taking that way, since nagito has wasted 30 minutes of your time. it would be better to do the same, yes?
and to your shock as well, he agreed to you taking him to your “garden”, unlike any other average student, example: your very own friend, they think your “garden” is truly where you are going to drag them into the same fate as you.
so they leave…well run away from you, leaving you alone, once again. is this just your loneliness, maybe just a eternal curse you will have until you truly pass on.
and for nagito, he just…agrees like a lost puppy dog that wants to know everything about you. this is a rare time that nagito has now seen in his life. which was you, a finally seen not as a scary illusion from guilt. but as a new friend.
ah, you couldn’t think that much about him, it was only your first time seeing him, and you barely had any time.
being the anniversary of your death soon and soon enough the time you truly have to go, any finally rest for another life.
finally, you went to your small garden. it was blooming more than normal, as the suns blesses with its shine and “love.” it was a easy job. it was your garden obviously, a place full of memories, a place where you could be happy with everyone.
and with nagito with you and him listening to every word your saying, it gives you happy memories. the things you truly wanted to do one last time with everyone, wouldn’t it just be so great?
“hmm…are these roses?” nagito asked during your rambling while watering your bonsai.
you put down your watering can and got ready to ramble about the flowers and the meaning of them.
until you saw nagitos bleeding finger, and was getting on your precious daisy’s, which wasn’t exceptional to you as you scolded the laughing man like a mother.
time passed fastly after that, faster than you can imagine, also you promised to get him out of the school so he can get to his apartment before his classmates start a search party.
yes, even if the barely care for him. it was still needed. no matter what. you sighed, once more you took him to the opened door from a security’s guard (which you accidentally scared.)
and waved goodbye.
after that fateful afternoon it was a shock to see nagito stay a little more while at the school, most thought he was up to something big, while the class just took it off as him finally getting “a touch of grass” — hiyoko.
also you both actually introduced yourselves, although you were seemingly confused on how he’s the ultimate “luck” he didn’t seem that much lucky to you. and for you, introducing yourself as the (former) ultimate gardener was easy to figure out due to context clues.
it was slightly embarrassingly, only for you… yet nagito just clapped it off as you still being a symbol of hope.
ah, anyways…
it’s been about 2 weeks since the fateful day you meant with nagito. (and more importantly, the day you have to go soon.)
he was almost like a close friend, honestly. every time after-school he would come and visit you and your garden and even learned much about how plants have meanings.
yet, you were on the clock. you had been trying for months just to actually get your friends to remember you, yet it didn’t work. all you did was hurt your friends more and more with just being a ghost.
why?
because of guilt.
once someone goes, you can’t see them again, nor can’t say your true feelings or even be with them, not even a hug or a laugh.
they just, disappear. and so with you being a ghost, they think it’s their mind taunting them for not saying goodbye.
or the feeling of self guilt; like it’s their fault.
yet for nagito, he’s just so confusing never scared of anything and you know much about him even when he shows his true personality.
and yet, harm can come in many ways. horrible ways that you can’t say it. you can feel it. so why not just say your true feelings?
it’s that easy! right…?
exorcists are dangerous to ghosts.
they bring harm and fear to the ghosts and with no mercy in some ways. which brings terror and puts the ghost in ways that they are not ready to say goodbye yet;
or truly pass on,yet some are kind and want to help the ghosts. but flowers aren’t truly that perfect. no matter how kind they look.
take a example, roses. they look pretty, and yet so dangerous that it would harm the ones who dare to touch it.
it was actually the same with you and the ultimate exorcist. as she has had complaints about you in the past, an extremely confused ghost.
yet she gave you time to truly say goodbye to your friends, and of course you accepted the final days you can see everyone and try to talk to friends and family.
most would see this as a blessing, yet to your friends they truly thought you were just there to give them more grief to your death.
(they didn’t know it was truly you, so it gives them a point or two. but they are actually a little stupid..so take off a point.)
and that stupid exorcist, she knows. she knew that you were going to fail anyways and is a entire master at gaslighting you.
and today, you weren’t going to fail. one more time, just one more time!
but you failed.
again, and again.
no matter how hard or how kind you look. it never works. even when nagito tries to calm you down and even tried to talk to them, they would just find him even more scary to the experiences of seeing you.
and today.
the final day you can try to talk to them.
you failed.
you…failed.
like shattered glass, it was giving you more despair, and it gets more shattered everytime until the sunlight, the memories taunt you.
the car crash, the everything.
why…how.
it was just all over your mind, no one was their to be with you anymore, since nagito went home for the day, which will be the last day he will truly see you.
why?
I’ll recommend asking the exorcist.
note: this will be a little, uncomfortable(?) and it’s not that important to the story at least. so if it does, please skip.
it was truly a painful experience.
you couldn’t do anything about it, because she was just too fast.
all you could do was scream for no one, the exorcist had you by the heart. it was unavoidable. you couldn’t say your true feelings yet, you couldn’t say anything.
maybe, if you weren’t such a idiot and went to the flower shop that day. maybe this wouldn’t happened. maybe, you could of confessed your true feelings to nagito.
but it was way to late, way to late. like the day another person confessed to your crush the day you were going to confess and they accept the other persons confession.
they have a life together, and all you can do was sit back to watch, you could never have a happy life or do regular teenagers things anymore.
you were a ghost, after all. so maybe, it should be your turn to go. forever.
those were the words that came out of your head and the exorcists mouth while taunting you.
and yet,, soon enough.
you were finally going to rest. (not) peacefully.
the exorcist smirked at the work she has done, and left. hopefully you can finally rest.
it was only fate.
after all.
a fate, you can truly. never change, which will taunt you all the way to your final grave.
nagito was worried, he hasn’t seen you in a while. not in the garden or the koi pond. you just, left.
he thought for a second: we’re you truly sick of him? I mean, he does ramble a lot and he does say a lot of stupid things.
but you always listened, so why would you leave? he had so many questions that had to be answered. maybe it was his luck? or maybe just him? he has no clue.
his top priority is to find you, I mean who else is going to show him your garden and ramble about all of the flowers you have and their meaning.
he had to figure out quickly, although. maybe your old friends or maybe that exorcist you were scared of said has something to say.
he was just truly, worried. so he had to figure out, quickly. in the name of hope! (and flowers.)
one by one, your friends talked about you, how you were just, a sweetheart. even if you were so tough with them. you had your ways of making friends especially in that one garden you had.
the way you died was…messy to say the least, from nagitos research of you most of your friends looked near to crying.
it was a painful way to go, any you were just looking for something so innocent.
roses.
from the garden shop. but to your horrible luck, you got ran over badly by a speeding cars. (nearby people even said you looked both ways.)
and your death was something that they couldn’t change at all. it still gives them pain to that day, especially because you had a closed casket…
after the entire exchange was over, they were pretty worried out on how some random guy from a nearby class asked them such random questions.
yet nagito moved on. to that ultimate exorcist.
it was a small yet big talk for him, not only because the exorcist just said that they killed you, the exorcist just treated it like a simple case of a average ghost.
I would say it pissed him off, but he’s always just so calm, putting his true personality would lead to things like him being put out of school (again.)
but for you, you were truly just gone.
not a person nor a ghost.
just a concept they never existed. like, never existed, only the things you loved and liked were still their.
you truly just disappeared, you couldn’t even say anything yet for him, not even he could say anything for you as well.
all he can do is just stare at that one bonsai tree you have to him, it was actually your “confession” he was just too confused.
and once again, I think he would just feel deep, sadness. not that he could see you or hear you talk about plants and koi fish again.
but that you couldn’t say your true feelings.
nagito always has bad luck. it was something, he couldn’t stop and once again.
he has lost someone important again.
extra:
you gave nagito a small bonsai tree, it was truly your favorite in the entire world. you always had it with you and was your first priority. but, you gave it to nagito, it always gave you good luck when you were alive.
maybe it will give good luck to him, he deserves it more than you.
he did ask why it has roses with it.
you just laughed at him, maybe it could be something like to remember you by. if you ever go. of course.
authors note:
I apologize for things like not being accurate to the nagito’s character or maybe it being too boring??? I mean this took me about a hour or two.
