HI Y'ALL you ready for the Absolute Brainrot I got outta nowhere for NPCs in a campaign I haven't written? no? too bad, here they are anyways. Art (left, shaved down horns) & Dusk (right, broken horn), the Telodomic Tiefling Two. they're sibwings with a few things wrong with them in different ways. they're generally friendly though!
I'll put More Official Sounding Info under the cut!
Dusk and Art are a rare sort, given that tieflings born and raised in the country of Telodom are few and far between amidst the land's cold climate and general distrust of both divine and demonic influences. The siblings now live in Estellus, reluctant refugees displaced thanks to a civil war between Telodom's ruler and its people. They both more or less work to clear their debt to the "old friends" who helped their escape southward, with Art running a shop to sell their myriad creations and Dusk traveling on various odd-jobs when he isn't contributing to his sibling's stock.
Once specialized in medicine-making and the effects of chemicals on the body, Dusk's studies have veered away from the living and onto the dead and the space between the soul and the physical, the shift from magic to mortal, turning the man of science into a self-taught wizard of necromany. Though why the change in field and to what end, Dusk is too cagey a fellow to give a straight answer. But he is happy to have left behind his fraught and frozen homeland and continue practicing both his physical and magical skills… even when his constant running and lack of rest puts enough strain on his fickle body to warrant the cane he carries around.
Art does not have their older brother's stomach for such visceral things, sometimes literally getting nauseous over it. Sympathetic and anxious, Art prefers craftsman trades to keep their hands and mind busy. Their shop sells many an enchanted accessory and even some paintings, but Art themself has also been known to write, embroider, often taking brief apprenticeships with other makers. Most everything they wear is handmade or otherwise customized with this varied interest in creative arts, and while Art considers it something of a dream come true to have their new life and run their shop, they worry deeply about the fate of the people they left behind.
Songs for Dusk:
Weird Science by Oingo Boingo (From my heart and from my hand, why don't people understand my intentions?)
Too Tired to Wink by Ludo (I'm sloughin' brain cells every day, smearing the globe, my lobe frontally frayed)
Bloody Nose by Jack Conte (With your tattered clothes and your bloody nose, aren't you glad to be rid of the smell? Not at all? Not at all)
One-eyed Maestro by Kevin MacLeod (royalty-free in-campaign theme song)
Songs for Art:
Scary World by Steam Powered Giraffe ('Cause I'm safe right here, we know who we are, and It's kind of scary thinking of what is out there…)
Unlikely Hero by the Hoosiers (I like everybody, but not everybody likes me! My love's not an island, it's the tip of a volcano!)
Journey of the Featherless by Cloud Cult (I say that it's worth dreamin' just for the dream of it, it's all about passion, it's all about perception)
Padanaya Blokov by Kevin MacLeod (shop's theme song!)

@brooklynislandgirl cont from [x] for funsies (dishonorable mentions to @therealgamble @tarnishedhalo @whosxafraid )
Tabby would be among the last people on earth to judge imagining a hot rocker losing his shirt while sailing. She only casts Vedder in his younger incarnation within her mind’s eye because it allows for some dramatic billowing of curly locks, standing against the ocean wind like an oil-painted romance book cover. It’s a pity that Beth is not the sibling with the ability to peek into minds, for Tabby is quite proud of the scene she’s created.
The mental landscape is, alas, scrubbed clean when Beth takes her turn in the idle coffee shop game. “Oh man. Give me a second.” Tabby reaches for her own latte, only to remember she guzzled the whole thing while Beth checked off her answers. She stalls by tearing off a chunk of the blueberry muffin between them, crumbs landing on the plate before the segment disappears into her mouth.
“Okay.” A swallow before she plows on. “The TV show is the hardest, just because getting any of those boys to take a whole day off for themselves is, like, rare. But get the right show, some beer and some pizza, and Brian would relax and maybe even enjoy it. So, he gets the pick.”
“Karaoke is Riley. Easy choice there, even if he would do the whole proper singing, instead of banshee screaming which is kind traditional when you’re on a stage trying to do Whitney or Celine.” Mischief appears on her face. “Remind me in seven months that we should go karaoke’ing for my birthday.”
The muffin tempts Tabby briefly, though she resists, playing with her empty coffee cup to keep idle fingers busy. “And Luka gets yoga class. Those small mats might be a bit of a squish for him, but I also kinda think he’s the most likely to find the class not total torture. He’s got the most inner calm, y’know?”

@mystalwartheart || cont. x
They called it 'The Inert Castle'.
It isn't technically a castle at all. Not in the traditional sense one thinks of when 'Castle' comes to mind. There aren't the high ramparts or turrets or studded doors. The walls around the courtyard are merely stone privacy walls; tall, but served no real defensive purposes, crumbled with age and time. Originally, it had been a manor house of some lord of the area, some time in the early or mid 1800s, they thought. Before the German Federation, for sure. But it is inert.
Or at least, the courtyard is inert. A dead space, a bubble where no influence from either the Castle or the broader Zone around it hold sway, like a no-man's land. Rules from Schwarzwald do not act here, the Castle itself does not think or feel into this space. It is a sphere where reality still manages to stubbornly persist. Good to house greenhorns, good to make it a meeting place for those who are wholly unused to the temperamental creature that surrounds it and close enough to the outer boundaries of the proper where even those who have never set foot in a Zone can get to without incident.
However, despite being in the title, the Castle itself is not a dead space. It's very much alive and kind of grumpy, as far as Castles go. Not nearly as bold and brash and playful as some of its other more appropriately-named brethren. Unlike its bigger siblings, however, it's also not nearly as powerful. It doesn't like visitors, really, and most people who have a basic understanding of a Zone know not to grasp at its metaphoric dangling lure when it does present it.
Unlike the group Wulf spies through the trees as she's walking up to the site entering through the front doors as they open. The Castle itself cannot influence the courtyard but human curiosity, it can still tickle and she heaves a sigh in a mixture of exasperated exhaustion before continuing on passed the threshold into the courtyard. She can only guess this was the group Papa told her would be waiting for her. 'It is easier to conduct this type of business where our old friends in the 'Stag cannot hear', she hears the old Russian boom in her memory as she climbs the crumbling steps up toward the front doors. Back over the boundary and into the sight of the Castle itself.
The doors are closed by now; the first trap for the newcomers has been passed, so like a carnival event, that way is closed. She can enter through here, but her path will be different. Already the Castle is complaining at her for the intrusion of another group of foolish humans.
I want to be left alone! it yells through so many voices built of crackling stone and crumbling plaster.
She makes a counter-argument of that it lured them in the first place should factor, nevertheless the old thing haughtily just tells her to remove them with a whine like a Lady who's spotted a mouse in the drawing room. Thankfully, without screeching. This demand is, of course, accentuated by the doors flying open again, the halls beyond dark and foreboding and unknown.
She knows the halls shift and twist, impossible labyrinths devised to trap even the most experienced of stalkers. It's a contradiction to the Castle's entitled personality and the sounds of scraping wood and ceramic plaster is enough to make veterans pale and turn away. But The Wolf is no ordinary stalker, veteran or not, and Guides are capable of going places others cannot and still come out the other side physically unscathed.
She steps casually over the door's threshold into pure darkness, shifting equipment while the world readjusts. The lights are faint, but enough her eyes adapt fairly easily. A tactic to disorient at the first steps, she's already moving through the halls. The sounds of sliding corridors is louder and more frequent the further she goes, and although she knows she's only walked forward in a straight line, the internal workings of the Castle have sent her down numerous identical corridors moving of their own will and whim. Occasionally, gravity shifts in pockets and she feels it somewhere in her. It feels a little like vertigo, even feeling the ground beneath your feet. She knows if she consciously tries to realign herself, she'll fall over and that will be the end.
Get them out already!
The voice permeates the space around her head as the corridors cease their incessant personal journeys, allowing her to plant herself on firm ground in a hallway that looks at least somewhat normal. A wall to one end, a wall at the other end. The first test has been passed.
"Where are they?" she asks of it. "I can't help if I don't know where they are."
In the music room. Here. I'll make it easier for you.
The emphasis of a spoiled child who simply can't believe they have to give directions to a newcomer in their house makes The Wolf roll her eyes, but with a few more shifts of walls, she can hear it. Her ear twitches momentarily and her head follows suit to zero in on the direction of what sounds like a piano. The sound is muffled, like it's coming through many rooms and halls, but the ticking tinkling of the keys has her attention enough she can at least move toward it.
Her pace quickens as she catches sight of something more pressing, in her mind. A flash of light, blazing silhouettes of people distorted against the walls ahead. She's almost positive instructions were given to leave all electronic devices behind. Her steps are quick and practiced, utterly silent in the darkened corridors in time to the Queen of the Night's Aria that echoes in her ears from the piano. She's not sure if this is relative, but given how things just are around here, she's willing to bet they all hear something different.
She's barely a shadow moving between the unit in the door and the hall, using practice honed by years as an invisible child thief to reach forward and click off any electronics she sees on her way through and drop them. She is built to see in the dark, after all, a little more definition than others around her. The others will barely notice her as a streak of faint light and flutter of winded wake before she's passed into the room beyond, the music room.
A hand is gripped around the flashlight of the woman she takes to be the unit's commander, given how she is the one at the forward point, and subsequently the slender fingers encompass the hand gripping it. Glowing quicksilver eyes are leveled as well as she can into the other's, her thumb pausing over the button to the flashlight.
"N̴ ̷O̶ ̴D̴ ̴E̸ ̷V̴ ̵I̴ ̷C̵ ̴E̵ ̷S̷"
A simple demand before the button is clicked, turning off the offensive device in question. To be honest, she's not sure how the Castle writes this rule. But given the things she herself has seen and been privy to in her time in the trees, it's better safe than sorry on this rule.

Writing Patterns
Rules: list the first line of your last 10 (posted) fics and see if there's a pattern!
I was tagged by @auburnlaughter a little while ago; thank you! ❤
I'm doing the latest 10 fics I've posted to Ao3, oldest first, and I'll include links because... every excuse to self-promote? Everything here is Star Wars, most of it Bad Batch (from before s3, save the last two), and most of that is more or less Crosshair-centric.
Sunrise Caf (TCW post-war AU, pre-CodyWan, 1k, G)
“Do you still prefer your caf black, now that you have access to more options?” Obi-Wan asks as Cody sits down at the small kitchen table in Obi-Wan’s new apartment.
Labor of love is ours to endure (TBB s1 finale AU-CD, 4.6k, T)
Wrecker watches as Hunter talks to Crosshair about chances; watches as Omega says her piece too.
To feel your heart as it's keeping time (TBB, Batch twins, 3.3k, G)
Since Crosshair’s recent and long-awaited return to their squad, Tech has found that treating him like one would a feral tooka has been relatively successful in getting the sniper to relax around him.
Don't You Doubt (TBB, Cross & Hunter, 2.5k, T, part of a series)
Pabu is very quiet at night.
And please be there; I can barely hang on (But oh I wait 'til I break) (TBB, h/c, 3.8k, T) (this one's in Russian too!)
Crosshair didn't know they'd be here.
Mirjahaal (TBB, pre-show, 2.1k, G)
Echo doesn’t know what Crosshair’s problem is.
Breakthrough on Bracca (TBB, AU-CD, 4.6k, T)
Crosshair wakes to a face on fire and a clear mind.
Change of Heart, Change of Plans (TBB, AU-CD, 5.6k, G)
A flash of white armor in his periphery, accompanied by the sound of familiar voices – or rather, one familiar voice from multiple people – has Hunter diverting from their route, leading his siblings into a dark and dank alley, waiting for the troopers to pass.
We're Still What's Left (TBB s3e4 cont., grief, 1.7k, T)
“But… how did you escape?” Hunter asks the kid, and Crosshair figures that’s his cue, even if he’s not sure he’s quite ready for whatever awaits him out there.
Homecoming Heroes (TBB, sequel to above, 2.8k, T)
Pabu is… nice.
Thoughts and tags below the cut:
So... Patterns? I was gonna say something about fairly long sentences, but then half of them turned out to be pretty short, actually 😅
I guess I try to set the scene: Who's there, what are they doing, what's the Problem (if the characters know, yet) etc. Try to make clear what canon scene we've jumped into, when relevant (I.e. in Labor of love, which picks up towards the end of Kamino Lost, when Hunter has just said something like 'you gave us a chance Crosshair; this is yours' and Omega has said 'they're still your brothers, Crosshair. You're my brother too.', which is what Wrecker's thoughts are referring to.)
I also tend to start right in the middle of Something, especially in the more action-filled ones. This is both because I then avoid losing people to "boring" exposition or world-building or descriptions right out of the gate, and also because beginnings are Hard, so the way I typically start writing a fic (or anything, really) is to start with whatever scene I've got in mind that sparked the idea for the rest of the fic, regardless of when it actually takes place, and then build the rest around it. Or by writing notes/something like an outline if I don't have a specific scene in mind but more just a sort of general feeling or plot or theme or something I want to write about, and then expand those into text-text. This approach means I often end up explaining the things that need explaining throughout the fic, so there's no need to put it all at the beginning. And also - it's fanfic. By far most of my readers will already be familiar with the characters and general setting; I just need to make clear where and how we might deviate from that.
That's all, I think. But hey! if you got this far and you noticed something I didn't, why don't you tell me? (please be nice, though, I'm not looking for critique; just curious)

part two of @essayofthoughts’s headcanon requests because i am insane and have too many thoughts
pike trickfoot
sexuality headcanon: definitely not straight. she was a sailor. so, probably bi or pan? idk, she didn’t have a lot of in-campaign time to show her preferences and whatnot. clinging to that “what do you think i do while you guys are gone?” line about brothels because that’s fucking hilarious and i love her
favorite ship(s): i really like pikelan!! completely honestly!!! i think it’s cute and funny and they’re… such fucking idiots. omg. i also think it’s hilarious that ashley and sam turned them into a modern-day celebrity couple with that post-canon divorce. legendary. also oddly a fan of pike/percy/vex, because unrequited pining makes me sad but i can’t abandon perc’ahlia, SO. they all hold hands. plus i think pike and vex are cute together, and those three are my faves, so
brotp: pike and grog’s relationship makes me so emotional…. they’re found siblings and they look out for each other…… they’re monstahs…….. i love them. grog is always making sure pike’s okay, and sticking up for her, and pike is grog’s biggest protector. she defends him and gets riled up when people call him stupid - always thinking about her in the search for grog, where she says grog’s mind is beautiful. i lost my mind. i love them so much
notp: pike and grog, because!! they’re siblings!! best buddies!!!! not a drop of romantic attraction between them
happy headcanon: pike sings so many sea shanties, even the baudy ones - especially the baudy ones - and it’s not just because it makes everyone else smile and laugh. that’s a bonus, obviously, but mostly she sings them because they make her happy. these are her thing, they remind her of her times as a sailor, where she felt free. the time where she discovering herself, and it felt like every branch of possibility was open before her. they let her cut loose, her anxieties slipping from her shoulders like the rolling waves. i think she also genuinely likes singing in celestial, not only because it helps her feel connected to sarenrae, but because it’s just.... pretty. it’s a pretty language in a world that isn’t always so pretty
angsty headcanon: she feels a lot of guilt over vax’s death. maybe if she’d been in the tomb with them, she could have brought vex back without the group hesitating to trust kash’s unknown god. she doesn’t know what she would have done, but knows she could have done something. she feels like that over most of the deaths in the VM - she wonders just how much sufferering they all endured in the moments where she couldn’t be standing right next to them
random headcanon: i think for a bit post-canon, after she and scanlan have split and VM doesn’t go adventuring anymore (percy and grog have gotten too old, and keyleth given more responsibilities), she travels as a wandering cleric for a while. she has a lingering wanderlust from her time as a sailor years ago, and regrets that she couldn’t go on as adventures with vox machina in the height of it all. she simply wanders, jumping from group to group, seeing the parts of tal’dorei she never got to. it’s bittersweet for her, because it’s never going to be the same no matter who she travels with, and she’s never going to get that time back - but she’s grateful for the people she meets, and grateful for the chance to indulge in this other aspect of herself
general opinion: UNDERRATED FAVE!! i didn’t realize just how much i love her until i was asked to list my fave VM characters in order, and she was easily right below vex and percy, if not on par with percy. she’s just so much fun, and she’s such a complex character!! she often gets mischaracterized as just the angelic mom friend of the group, and while she’s certainly sweet and certainly the mom, she’s also loud and cheeky and buff as hell!! she jokes around!!! she threatens literal gods if they even risk hurting her friends!! she’s such a badass and amazing character, one full of contradictions that i want to study so badly. i love her so much. pike trickfoot you will always be famous

12 + 21 for the ask game? (or just pick one of them if you’d rather)
omg so sorry just saw this!! thank u!! you didnt specify a fandom but i'm assuming you're asking about comics/dc (even tho i've been in major stranger things + asoiaf mode lately)
also put in page break bc my answer for 12 accidentally got too long sorry lol
12. the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them
i mean. my girl. helena bertinelli. she's not unpopular in the sense that she's like widely disliked but she does just get forgotten about a lot, esp by batfam stans. and it sucks!! bc she's a majorly compelling character!! and has been around a lot longer than other characters in the batfam!! she's complicated and morally gray sometimes but also sympathetic and genuine and majorly badass. she deserves so much more cred than she gets, esp on tumblr.
i've seen other people (helena stans) make this point before but the thing about helena is she really is the character that fanon jason stans think he is. like... she's a child of gotham who suffered from major trauma and has seen firsthand the danger of organized crime. she's taught herself to fight so she can both protect people and take revenge on those who harmed her and her loved ones. she has a temper and a capacity for extreme violence, and she's not afraid to hold back, but she can control herself and doesn't hurt innocent people. she's willing to kill, but not indiscriminately, in fact she's often held herself in check bc she knows she shouldn't play executioner for everyone. she will do permanent damage if she needs to but she's not like meaninglessly vicious (no bags full of severed heads from her). and she is super protective of the people of gotham (no man's land), women and children in particular.
and it also feels like she gets shunted aside from the batfam bc she's not truly "one of them" in fandom's eyes, but that is bullshit imo. yeah, she's had major disagreements with them, esp bruce, but they're also perfectly capable of working together and have respect for each others' skills. she has a complicated relationship but she's been an important part of the gotham vigilante community since the early 90s. and i feel like helena gets excluded for reasons that don't seem to apply to jason, or stephanie! she has a lot of common with stephanie. like... outsider vigilante working on their own at first. complicated relationship with bruce in particular. neither of them would ever call bruce their dad, bc he's not, but he does play a certain mentor/father-esque figure in their lives that they can project their daddy/authority issues on (which, i mean he does make it easy for them by being a huge asshole lol). her talents are sometimes dismissed by bruce the same ways steph's have been. steph basically browbeat damian into having an younger-sibling type relationship with her; tim did the same to helena, except he was the younger sibling lol. i've said it before and i've said it again, her relationship with tim is HIGHLY underrated. and like steph and tim, helena has had a romantic relationship with a batkid- dick- that has been complicated at best, but there's still mutual respect there. (tbh i think dickhelena is way more interesting than a lot of other ships, including dickb*bs, but that's a story for another post).
and yea this basically turned into a long thesis as to why helena deserves to be a bigger batfam member lol. but it's true!! she's so fascinating and cool and has been given the shaft way too much (esp in n52, when they randomly made her a spy...) plus one of my fave things about her is her love for teaching. most gotham vigilantes don't have day jobs bc, who has the time, but helena really loves being a teacher and cares about the kids she teaches a lot. she is directly a part of the gotham city community that way and i think it's a very important aspect of keeping her grounded and happy. it makes her unique. we've gotten a little bit more helena content in the past year or two but i always want more!! i want to see her interact with other batfam members more too, like damian, duke, kate, cass... dc give her more respect!!!!
21. part of canon you think is overhyped
just accidentally ranted so gonna keep this short lol. i hate the court/parliament of owls storylines literally sooooo much and i esp hate the fascination with talon dick. i literally will not consume any content related to that. i'm sure i've posted my reasons before (like years ago) but i think it's a stupid and somewhat offensive concept.

Tumblr media
She nods, grateful, shifting her attention down to the pool table, or at least pretending to do so. Taking her time to align her angles. Thinking.
Tumblr media
She misses what should’ve been an easy shot, huffs as she straightens up (it’s a friendly game but she’s competetive and it was a stupid miss), leans onto her cue stick.
Wren likes that about TK; that he’s an open book. There’s something so guarded and jaded in herself, as easygoing as she tries to be (but it’s so much effort), seeing something opposite of it in someone... Wren doesn’t have siblings, but TK feels like a younger brother; like a lot of... joy, she supposes, but also something to be protected at all costs.
It’s because he lets it go so easily, because he doesn’t try to pry, doesn’t put any pressure on her, that she wants to offer something. Most people... most people would regard her as a walking red flag, with her unfamiliarity with tons of things that are everyday for everyone else, with her murky past and her unwillingness to share anything about it. TK was her first friend, here. (Connor she’d call a friend, but she calls people friends easily; he was probably more an ally, someone who showed her kindness, back in Detroit.) She wants to give him something. It’s just that it’s so difficult to... even begin to share, without either fabricating truths within lies or sounding completely insane.
❝ I grew up homeless, ❞    she offers, softly. It’s not what he asked about. But it’s something both simple and personal. An offering of sorts. A show of trust: sharing, because she wants him to know her. She rubs her nape, feeling a little awkward about it, her tone pretty matter-of-fact.    ❝ Lived in an... orphanage, of sorts? Since I was a baby. Ran away when I was ten. Lived on the streets with other kids. So... that’s why I don’t have a degree, or anything. Didn’t go to school after that. I had some further education as an adult, but... nothing official. ❞    She, technically, did her GED during her early military training, but it’s not as if she can get that recognised, here.

cont. - @badassxbirdy
Proteus was right to think her dangerous. Her powers may have been suppressed, but the demonic in her was far from gone. It made itself known at times like this. That dark little part of her somewhere deep inside that was glad to see them afraid, that took pride and pleasure in knowing she scared them. It always rose close to the surface when she was at her most angry.
And of course there was one thing that was always guaranteed to make that happen.
“She’s my sister.” The only answer given to their question and insistence that they didn’t understand. Her sister, her family, terms that she always used but that still somehow fell short. Mel was her soulmate. If Proteus was found to be a danger to her… well, let’s just say the cambion didn’t need her powers to make someone hurt.
Tumblr media
What felt like a million different implications ran through her mind, each more worrying than the last. “Who else has seen these? Who have you told?” One person (if he could even really be called that) was her primary concern of course, the very thought of him enough to send a little jolt of panic through her.
“You had no idea? My librarian buddy just happens to be seein’ her, but has no idea who she is?” Proteus experiencing visions was something she would believe and accept immediately. Such was the weirdness of Ty’s life. But him not knowing? That was far too much of a coincidence for Tyler to accept. The first person outside of those closet to her whom she’d confided in about her own hallucinations, and they just happened to have been seeing Mel? For years? There was no way. There had to be something else at play here.
Sister. That explained the anger – the vehemency behind it. They must be very close, they thought and had to admit a tang of jealousy. Not due to their feelings for the woman, no, Proteus himself had always wanted a bigger family. Siblings. Someone who could’ve shared the loneliness in their mother’s passing. But at least there was no one else to share his curse, as moments like this had been one of their greatest fears.
Tumblr media
The slew of questions, though concerning and aggressive made Proteus somewhat….relaxed. There was progress being made somehow. Conversation. Communication. Perhaps they weren’t going to end up dead today over their gift. “No one. No one has ever seen these until today. I keep them close, hidden.” A pained chuckle – “You think I, known schizophrenic, admit to having visions to the regular population?” A cleared throat – “Seriously no one knows anything but me. And I can’t say I’ve WANTED to know what I do.”
Proteus was – in some frightened way – becoming numb to the moment. Perhaps their fear had decided to taper away, simply accepting the fate that would be decided for them. But truthfully not wanting to die, they wanted to explain – as if the coincidence COULD be explained. “Perhaps it is simply fate. But I think you fear an answer that I’m not going to give you – that…whoever he is. He’s never been near me. I’ve only ever seen him in my visions.”

so i was listening to your gdwwb playlist the other day, and it's a vibe! i was wondering whether you associate certain songs on the playlist with certain characters?
also i feel like your taste in music really matches the vibes you give off (in a good way)
oh thank you!!!! :'D i'm really glad you like it! asdfjk;l i've actually been meaning to revamp that playlist a little now that i've reworked the concept, but i do still enjoy it. it is still accurate, i just want to make the vibes match More.
also that is an incredibly sweet compliment ty <3 my music taste is definitely Something but i'm glad it matches my vibes, in a way :'D
as for whether certain songs vibe with certain characters, the answer is yes! most of the songs in that particular playlist are general vibes, but there are a few that are references to specific characters or story beats.
some examples:
surface pressure from encanto is in there because it really vibes with jonah--this song was actually a huge inspiration for his development! the vibes of an older sibling forced to always be strong and never allowed to show weakness, expected to support the family and take on a huge burden... that's such a jonah vibe. --
the wayfaring stranger cover by the longest johns is a rat king song! i've talked about funny things with the rat king for the most part and kinda treated her as a joke character in many ways, but the story behind her is actually a bit,,, intense ADSFJKL. without going into details, know that the rat king's home is gone, and she's a wanderer in a world that is completely alien to her. she wants to go home, but she knows she never can. --
poor george by james supercave is a song that reminds me of elliot, which probably isn't too surprising if you know how much i apply that song to my poor little meow meow spencer middleton. however, here i take it for more if its intended meaning than my own interpretation--i relate this song to elliot's selfishness and entitled attitude, as well as how he believes himself to simultaneously be the hero of the story and a victim of circumstance, despite his vile actions. --
remnants in dreams from sally face is VERY much a vibes song, especially as it's an instrumental, but i also apply it heavily to shiloh. this is the song that plays in my head when i imagine dream sequences with them, which are a pretty big thing in this story, as well as just. their relationship with their trauma and lost memories in general, and their mother. --
aaand finally, runs in the family by amanda palmer applies to a few characters, but i most apply it to joan! because while a majority of joan's conflict comes from the loss of her wife, but i definitely think she is the product of some pretty severe generational trauma as well that is a large part of why she struggles so MUCH with her grief. she was raised to be the strong pillar others depend on, but she's a hot fucking mess and can't even depend on herself most days. which, y'know, 'surface pressure' applies to her as well, but i'm gonna keep this to one song per character. --
and as a bonus, bloody nose by jack conte applies to a character i'm still struggling to name and don't know how to talk about just yet :> just know. they're there.

Cont. my point from my last rb:
If you want a case of genuine RED flags about people given how they consume fiction/bark about it, I have more than a few anecdotes:
My sister had a co-worker who really liked to hook up but was also SUPER judgmental and sl*tshammy of woman in relationships when she wasn't in one. She outright admitted she wouldn't watch/read something "unless there was a love story" in it and unironically quoted LadyGaga "when it's love if it isn't rough it isn't fun"/"Belle and Beast ended happy too" in regards to her many broken one-off relationships. It was...uncomfortable and it was made all the worse by her not caring about other people's boundaries while she did that.
E.L. James snapping at a r*pe survivor about how there was "No Rape in Fifty Shades". You're into noncon fiction, E.L. Just admit it and leave the BDSM communities alone. Also don't write. You suck at it.
Ben Shapiro (need I say more?) making comments about other people's sex lives and happiness based on their media input. Especially when anything dare be about non traditional sex in marriage or about a woman's enjoyment of sex DEAR GOD
Everything about Poppy from ZenaandPoppy. A PROUD proshipper+therapist who also likes kink art, none of which is a problem. Except when it comes to flashing her roommates and demanding that they accept it and shaming them for their "asexual shit", posting nsfw art everywhere, and most importantly saying there's nothing wrong with real-life incest outside of "breeding"; to the point that Poppy even tried to convince an incest survivor to enjoy incest porn in order to not "see it as a bad thing".
Lily Orchard just REALLY wanting to talk about incest and happy incest and how games that feature incest don't feature "consensual" incest more often and how it's actually technically pure just WEEKS after her sibling came out and accused her of sexually abusing them into their teens. Lily Orchard saying those accusations are false because said sibling is "not fuckable" to her. Lily Orchard still not apologizing or really doing anything other than deflecting onto others when it comes to shipping Elsanna and HARD and insisting it is/should be canon in a Disney movie.
Cosmodore trying to excuse his abuse of an underage victim with the anime he was reviewing being about redemption and 'forgiveness' and overall just being a LITTLE too eager to mention age-of-consent laws in other countries. Bleh.
And so many more I skipped out on.
By all accounts there are worrisome things consumed and argued that tell you a lot about the person doing the consuming. But, unless you have some idea of any of that or the thing being argued for is unambigously wrong, I think it's really heinous to make assumptions like that.
People can write about the happiest, healthiest wish-fufillment things and be terrible to partners; people can write about weird or awful things happening in the world but be committed and good partners. I think it's really vile to imply otherwise unless you've actually seen some red flags about them personality-wise.

@id1eyouth | Cont. from X
Her siblings tease her about it. Now that she was swimming in power and strength and unnatural ability, one little human seemed to have sapped it all away from her with a gentle tone and a smile as bright and warm as the sun she turned her back on.
They do not understand; he doesn't come to her as a wolf waiting for its moment to pounce. No, Murray always comes to her with his throat bared, his pulsing heart on his sleeve...it would be so easy for her to tear it out. It was right there, inches away. The hand he touched with such care could punch through his ribcage and make a feast of the heart he so tried to give her.
But is it not more noble to show mercy when one has the power to destroy? If any man would be shown such grace, it would be him. "People come here to be mystified by beautiful women in very little clothing." She quips back, smiling wide enough for her fangs to show. "Or so it's been explained to me."
She copies him, bringing his hand up towards her mouth, red-stained lips pressing against his pulse— she could just feel the flow beneath his skin and it almost pains her to ignore it. "The most beautiful thing in this room, hm? I think you're the only honest man in this whole city." Oh, if she still had a heart it would beat only for him— and that was a frightening thought, wasn't it? That he affected her so deeply; he was mortal, this precious, fleeting gift in her hands that one day might slip away— no, she wouldn't allow herself to think of such a thing. Not now.
Tumblr media
"You are the beautiful one here." Didi coos as she lets her cheek rest in his palm, basking in his warmth. "I don't know if you understand what joy you bring me, mon coeur."

Undying Nezuko AU: Origin comic
A Little Lie
Contains:
Depictions of blood
Depictions of dead bodies
Body horror, I think? Like "lump of flesh" type stuff
Final arc spoilers for Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Slayer
- Text read right to left.
- Pages were intended to be arranged vertically like a Webtoon, but I didn't want to make this a long post that forces people to scroll for ages.
- Thoughts of mine and a full explanation of the idea at the bottom.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I started working on this comic in October and did the first two pages then. I then took a long break and whipped up the last four over the last four or five days. Comics always push me out of my comfort zone, and I think that's pretty cool of them.
So, explanation: This is an idea I've talked a bit about before and drawn a couple images for in the past, usually in the form of Nezuko wearing modern outfits; the premise is basically that Nezuko resists the demon cure at the end of the series in order to reach the battlefield in time to save her brother, but because of how long she had to keep that up she ends up neutralising it entirely and being stuck as a demon afterwards, unable to die. But she wants Tanjirou to live a happy life, and not waste away trying to turn her back, so she lets him believe that it worked.
The idea is based on an incorrect prediction I had around the time the final arc was being released and then a decision of mine to turn it into a Bad End.
I wonder if this comic could have done with a fully dark page between pages five and six, like a hard impact and then "cut to black"-type thing. Feels weird to put it there when I'm not arranging them vertically though.
In another post I wrote out the full play-by-play of what happens but that wasn't even a drawing for this AU, so I'll explain it here too in the details under the cut.
Details | Canon information that got me thinking
Nezuko was shown early in the series to be extremely proficient in manipulation of her own cells, wiping out Muzan's influence and conquering the sun, shifting between different ages as the first thing she did, holding the parts of her body together using only the lines of blood connecting them, etc.
Nezuko was shown throughout the series throwing herself into dangerous situations to take fatal hits that would have killed her brother. For the most part, this is understandable but eventually, she escalated into almost letting herself burn up in the sun. I worry for her.
Nezuko's Bloodfire is capable of burning demon material but leaves humans completely unharmed.
Towards the end of the last battle, Tanjirou has a blob of Muzan's demon cells growing on his face and he is later possessed by him.
Nezuko is resistant to the sun, meaning the only way she can die permanently is by Shinobu's wisteria poison.
By the end of the assault on the Infinity Fortress, both Tamayo and Shinobu (the two people who knew how to make the cure) had died, unbeknownst to Nezuko.
Near the end of the assault on the Infinity Fortress, Nezuko was informed by her father's spirit that Tanjirou would die if she didn't do something, so she booked it out of there towards the battlefield, using her demon strength to get there quickly and outpace everyone else.
In Chapter 196: I Am, we are shown Nezuko almost at the battlefield but weakening due to the effects of the cure kicking in. Her memories come back to her and the chapter ends with her halfway human.
The series has an emphasis on the bond between siblings.
Throughout the series, Nezuko is rarely ever given an opportunity to make an important decision for herself.
Full Explanation of Events Here
The idea here is that after chapter 196, Nezuko alters her biology to hold off on her transformation back to human so she can reach her brother in time to save his life. She doesn't know that Tamayo and Shinobu are dead, but we know, and that makes this a very dangerous decision. (rising tension!)
When she arrives, Muzan has begun possessing Tanjirou but he doesn't assume the Demon King form he has in the series. Muzan is controlling Tanjirou's body but he hasn't fully converted it into a demon because the sun is beginning to rise and he can use this to stick around long enough in the daylight to take Nezuko's sun resistance from her when she gets there and become immortal for real.
It bothered me how quickly he was able to conquer the sun canonically when it seemed like that was Nezuko's one real accomplishment that was totally hers and considering how long it took her to do it.
A side effect of this form of possession is that Tanjirou's consciousness is still present, however, Muzan has him well under control and had an easy time fighting off the remaining slayers.
A fight breaks out between the two of them, sort of like an inverse of when Nezuko first transformed way back at the beginning, with Tanjirou acting savagely and Nezuko able to keep her mind instead. Muzan wants her blood for her resistance, but she forces it to combust whenever he tries.
During this fight, Muzan finds himself reacting sluggishly when he tries to land a hit directly against Nezuko. This is Tanjirou's refusal to harm his sibling, and it allows Nezuko to stand a chance against the original demon.
The fight ends with Tanjirou holding down Muzan from within and Nezuko burning away the last of Muzan's cells from her brother's body. The fact that they did this together is very important to me emotionally.
When the fight is over and everything is calm, Nezuko releases her hold on the cure to let it run its course, but the length of time she spent resisting it and the fact she was forced to split her focus so drastically led to it being wiped out entirely.
Tanjirou is about ready to pass out after what his body just went through and he doesn't notice Nezuko's demon traits like her red hair tips and slitted pupils. He knew she took the cure earlier and Nezuko has now assumed her relaxed, near-human form. Tanjirou believes she was cured and Nezuko, now fully remembering who she used to be, doesn't want to see her brother destroying himself again to bring her back.
She shapeshifts a little further to be more convincingly human, deciding to seek out Shinobu and Tamayo later with many apologies and a request for another dose.
She doesn't find them.
She never tells him.

Hang in there poster/Found Family
(made with twitter user @SATANICPANIIC)
Inspired by this twt (link)
In Chapter 10 we get to see Copia’s Male Living Space, which includes a motivational, “Hang In There” cat poster.
Because Copia feels like an outsider to the ministry, he doesn’t feel like he has anyone to confide in and even if he did probably doesn't feel comfortable enough to seek someone out. So when he comes back from a rough day of work in the abbey, he gets back to his room and stares at his motivational poster from the twin sized bed on his floor until he drifts off to sleep.
And since Copia is relatively new to the ministry and socially awkward, no one really seeks him out after work, thus not being invited to any church-employee bonding activities, isolating him further from everyone in the church.
It wasn’t until Primo noticed that Copia was alone that he told his brothers and decided to invite him to their personal brother bonding time. And this really shocks Copia because it’s his first time being invited to something since he first transferred to this church (a really long time ago).
During their bonding time, Copia off handedly mentions the fact that this is his first “church bonding activity” and all the Emeritus brothers take turns getting mad for him, asking why they’ve never been invited to employee events and when he shrugs they all unanimously decide to adopt him in as an honorary brother (even though copia is actually related to them, but they are all unaware of that fact)
Copia’s first impression on the siblings:
Primo was the one to invite primo and so he is thankful to him, but after the invitation it kinda hard to see what primo’s thinking, it wasn’t until he had to explain why he wasn't invited to employee-bonding moments that he softens up
Copia was scared shitless meeting Secondo as he has a reputation for being the most intimidating one out of all the brothers, the first time they played uno together Copia was terrified to put down any status effect cards since Secondo was sitting right next to him, but after that they find a common interest and bond over Nascar or smth
Terzo was the quickest to warm up to Copia, just being generally extroverted and finally having the potential chance to be an older brother instead of the youngest
Primo solo bonding moment, where Primo calls Copia over to help him tend to his garden/greenhouse since none of his other brothers have a soft touch when it comes to his plants
Secondo solo bonding moment, I feel like Secondo once mentioned how he would’ve wanted a nascar to promote his album, but he didn’t have the chance as papa (either the clergy wouldn’t give him the budget or they just straight out said no), so Copia shelves the idea for when he becomes papa. And once it does happen he goes to tell Secondo, but on his way there, he runs into him and he’s glaring Copia down. At first Copia is afraid that Secondo is going to be mad that he stole the idea and when he puts his hand on Copia’s shoulders he starts mentally praying, but instead Secondo has a certified emotion moment, hugs Copia and thanks him for getting them on Nascar.
Terzo solo bonding moment, where one night at a sleepover when all of the papas and copia take off their gloves Terzo lets out the most horrendous gasp at seeing how unmanicured all their brother’s hand are and after seeing all of them makes the decision that only Copia’s are worth saving so they have a spa day with the nail tech ghoul
Hang in there poster/Found Family Cont.
Prompt: “all of my brothers have been pitted against each other for years and now that we’re getting along you’re here thing”
It wasn’t until recently that the Emeritus siblings decided to start mending their relationship with each other, but it was still rough. When Copia got introduced, though having some nice moments with the papas, he was mostly treated like an impartial third party and usually ended up with having to diffuse/play mediator for the brother’s arguments
At one point Copia has had enough and blows up on the Emeritus brothers and points out that he’s had enough and that he’s not here to solve the decades worth of brother issues, but right after he realizes that he’s screamed at 3 of the highest ranking members of the church and runs out the room, leaving the papas in the dust
The Emeritus brothers would stand there in shock and silence as they realized what their bickering had led to and hold a momentary truce to find Copia and apologize. It’s also when they’re looking for Copia that they realize they don’t actually know where his room is in the ministry.
Copia in a haze while running into his room knocks over the lava lamp without really noticing. When the brothers do find and enter Copia’s room, they immediately notice Copia crying and broken glass. When Copia looks up he starts panicking even more than he already was, because it’s the first time he’s been vulnerable in front of the papas or anyone in general + the first time anyone has been into his room other than himself.
He automatically starts thinking that the brother’s are there to tell him to pack his stuff and everything that he’s worked for and done in the ministry is going to go to dust. And with everything happening at once, he starts having a panic attack.
Copia has repeatedly treated like trash to the point where he kind of expects it, but when he got kinda close to the Emeritus brothers and blew up on them he was afraid of losing everything
Primo would be the one to take him out of it and when he’s calmed down, Copia starts frantically apologizing and begging them not to fire him, and the brothers have to calm him down and reassure him that they're not going to fire him and that they're actually here to apologize to him
Primo would grab him water and tissues before sitting back down next to Copia while Terzo is hugging him telling Copia that it’s all going to be okay while Secondo helps out cleaning up the remains of the lava lamp in Copia’s room before joining the other two brothers on Copia’s already crammed twin bed until they all fall asleep. And for the first time coming to the ministry, surrounded by people that care about him, Copia doesn't stare at his poster while falling asleep.
Aftermath
Ending 1: They all wake up on the floor, because realistically all four of them were never going to fit onto Copia’s mattress, all realizing they have messed up their makeup and have wrinkly clothes, one of the papas would need to take on for the team to grab their white corpse paint from their rooms because satan forbid they're seen without their papa makeup and get dressed coded by Imperator. Thus Copia's room has never been livier with the iron board propped up to iron out wrinkles on each other's clothes, everyone taking turns in the shower left and right, and helping each other double check their paint, Copia has never felt like he's been more at home.
Ending 2: After Copia wakes up from the previous night, he automatically assumes that the Emeritus brothers have left and he starts talking to his cat poster to process and vent out all his feelings, but when he’s done he turns his head around to see all the papas staring at him. And at first he feels a bit embarrassed but seeing what transpired yesterday, they all talk it out in the end and Copia feels a weight lifted off him, and they all end up in a big group hug.

Fairy Tale Laws: How Fairy Tales and their Worldbuilding work
Tumblr media
Who follows me knows I'm mega into mythology and folklore. One of my favorite pieces of folklore and fantasy literature is the Fairy Tale. Since I was a child I was always draw to the magical world of Disney films and their darker literary counterparts.
I love fairy tales, yet in my opinion they continue to be one of the more misunderstood and neglected genres out there.
So, as a Disney fan and avid fairy tale reader, in this essay I show how the genre itself generally works and which principles rule their whimsical world
Fairy Tales, Myths and Fables
The thing that fairy tales, myths and fables have in common is that they all find their origins in the oral tradition.
They were fantastical tales, not told specifically for children but deeply enjoyed by them, that were transmitted through generations.
Tumblr media
Both fairy tales and myths don't follow real world logic, instead following their own dream-like logic, in a sequence of weird and fantastical events, that are magical and intriguing to the listener, but essentially normal to the in-universe characters.
Often than not there aren't any explanations of why these events happen and their impact of those in-universe societies, they just happen. Animals talk, mythical creatures live along with human societies just fine, inanimated objects come to life, people seem to turn into animals all the time, etc, and nothing of that seem to ever change the status quo.
Tumblr media
The thing that differentiate the fairy tale from the myth, is that the myth is supposed to have happened in our world, but in a far off past. They are supposed to explain how our world came to be, and they have a very strong religious importance. The fairy tale on the other hand is not supposed to be took seriously. It's a fun story that the older generation tell to the younger generation. It can pass deeply important life or religious values, but that's not their main point. They are fairy tales, not fables.
The point of the fable is to transmit a moral. The point of a fairy tale is to transport the listener into a fantastical journey.
Fairy Tales vs. Oral Stories
Although many folk stories became immortal fairy tales, not all fairy tales came from oral tradition. Actually, some can be traced back to specific authors.
The Little Mermaid, the Ugly Duckling and the Steadfast Tin Soldier are all considered immortal fairy tales, yet they were all created by famous danish writer Hans Christian Andersen. A lot of his stories are authoral, and all are considered true fairy tales.
The term "Fairy Tales" actually comes from the french "conte de fées" and was coined in the 17th century by Marie-Catherine Le Jumel de Barneville, Baroness d'Aulnoy, the Madame d'Aulnoy, a french writer who wrote about a world where love and happiness came to heroines after overcoming great obstacles.
Tumblr media
These stories arise from the Préciosité, a French literary style in the 17th century, from "les précieuses", intellectual, witty and educated women who frequented the salon of Catherine de Vivonne, marquise de Rambouillet. Themes presented in these stories are the ideals of feminine elegance, etiquette and courtly Platonic love, all hugely popular with female audiences, but scorned by men.
Tumblr media
Telling fairy tales was a popular préciosité parlor game, and they should be told as if spontaneously, even though they all were carefully prepared. This style served as influence for Charles Perrault and Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve.
Villeneuve herself was the original author of Beauty and the Beast, and although the story is heavily inspired by older legends like Cupid and Psyche, it still is an authoral story.
Even the Brothers Grimm and Charles Perrault, who were famous for being collectors of tales from oral tradition, gave their own twists and embellishments to their tales. For example, in many Cinderella tellings it's her mother's ghost who helps her. The Fairy Godmother is Perrault's invention.
So more than been just stories from the oral tradition, fairy tales as a literary genre are the reinvention of the old tropes found in the folk stories under a more sophisticated polish, for a new public.
Fairy Tale as a literary genre
In a way I consider the Fairy Tale a sibling genre to Magical Realism. As TV Tropes puts:
"In Magic Realism, events just happen, as in dreams. [...] Magical realism is a story that takes place in a realistic setting that is recognizable as the historical past or present. It overlaps with Mundane Fantastic. It has a connection to surrealism, dream logic, and poetry."
Both use a surreal, almost poetic internal logic with little to no explanation. Magical Realism is the occurrence of a fantastical event in a realistic setting, in a fusion between the mundane and the magical world.
Fairy Tales are similar because they often deal with very domestic topics and subjects. The protagonists often are normal people with very mundane goals. They don't want to save the world, they want to save themselves and their loved ones.
Tumblr media
Cinderella and Snow White for example, are more concerned with escaping from their abusive families than being cultural or legendary heroes like in the myths. Hansel and Gretel are trying not to die from starvation, and Red Riding Hood is trying to visit her sick grandmother. Regardless of class status, these are people with their own problems that find in the fantastical events a escape from them, or a even worse danger.
This is not a universal rule, as some characters are more heroic and there's more in stake, but generally the heroes are domestic heroes and it's only their lives that are in stake.
Tumblr media
The difference between the Magic Realism and the Fairy Tale, is that while in the Magic Realism you can easily point where the realistic setting ends and the magical one begins, the fairy tale goes even further, and the lines between the worlds are way more muddled.
Worldbuilding in Fairy Tales
Tumblr media
Now, that's the most important part. Fairy Tales are a sub-genre to Fantasy, but while in the other genres the magic world is described in the minimal details, often with rich details about the in-universe cultures and their rules, the Fairy Tale maintain the magic world as vague as possible. That's because it uses what I call "soft-worldbuilding".
Part of the appeal of the fairy tale is to transport the reader in a fantastical journey, but in order to do that they use as little details possible, allowing the reader to try to fill in the gaps. That's in order to avoid the magic world of feeling too real or too close to reality. The reader needs to have a sense of wonder and intrigue, and if you started to describe your world in all its details, it will become too grounded, and the wonder and the intrigue will be lost.
Said that, you need some basic rules, otherwise everything will be incredibly incoherent. You reader needs to understand how the magic world works and their rules, but they also need to be slightly lost, discovering all the details along the way and be amazed by them, lost in a mystery that they will never find all the answers.
To illustrate this, look at the differences between the Middle-earth and Narnia. One is a standard fantasy world, the other is a fairy tale world. J.R.R. Tolkien drew inspiration from the epics, C.S. Lewis drew inspiration from fairy tales and childhood stories.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Middle-earth is grounded on its own rules, with their own races, cultures, languages and myths. Narnia is a playground were everything magical is allowed. Greek mythology creatures? Okay. Roman gods? Okay. Father Christmas? Okay. Jesus? Of course!
One is worried about all the small details, the other wants everything as vague and simple as possible, as to ensure the wonder and the intrigue will never be lost the reader.
When you're dealing with a fairy tale world you have way more freedom than the standard fantasy world. You don't need to think too deeply in the details. You can use the Rule of Funny and the Rule of Cool as much as you want, as long as it's minimal consistent and coherent
Fairy Tale Laws
This are some basic rules and principles that I believe rule over the fairy tale genre
Establish rules of how the world works. Keep it consistent and coherent. That's your base
Not every fantastical event needs a deep explanation, and magic is not allowed as an universal explanation
Keep it simple. Don't worry too much about the small details.
You don't want your world to be too grounded in reality. A little escapism is key
Poetic logic and surrealism reigns
Have fun with all the weird and magical things that crowded your world. "Rule of Cool" and "Rule of Funny" reign
Never reveal too much to your reader. They need to constantly feel as if there is something more happening off the limits of your story
Domestic heroes (As Narnia and the old dragon slayer stories show, this is not an universal rule)
The overall tone can be darker and edgier, softer and lighter, or somewhere in the middle

oh no i cant justify sausages name all i can do is offer some thoughts as to how names, esp second names, work. first thing: a persons second name in no way indicates a familial relationship. jimmy solidarity gaming and lizzle ldshadowlady are, in fact siblings, and lizzie ldshadowlady is in fact married to one joel smallishbeans. second names are not family names. i would say that theyre more like titles, but. not necessarily. some second names are given much like a title, but others are chosen
(cont. from above) examples of chosen names would be the aforementioned smallishbeans, ldshadowlady, and solidarity gaming--although that one is odd, bc usually when someone has a chosen name, they only have one. jimmy has two idk why. sausages second name is actually said first--"mythicalsausage", not "sausage mythical", and is chosen. who knows why he chose it tho. while a player can choose a second name, not all do--fwhip, for instance, doesnt have any second name--and some have given names, rather than chosen.
a given name is one that is given by others to a person--probably the most well-known example is philza minecraft, but this group doesnt just include people named after their server or minigame (purpled). it also includes ranboo beloved, who was made a meme and then named after it, tubbo underscore, who is actually kinda misleading bc it feels like a chosen name, but no, its given, and lord grian dreamslayer redslayer hermitcraft, who has a whopping *three* chosen names, which is. quite a lot.
the only person i can think of off the top of my head w both a given name and a chosen name is ethoslab hermitcraft (bc i have decided that he deserves the second name hermitcraft) anyway thus concludes my Thoughts About Minecraft Names also. i feel like joes second name is not in fact chosen in the traditional sense, and by my system would technically be part of his personal name, because chosen names are chosen and "hills" feels like. just. part of his name. bc it is dsfghj
this is SUPER COOL. i like all of these thoughts about these names. the idea of people earning titles as second names is a really cool one and i like how it's explained here! thanks for sharing! (and sorry it took hours to actually post i had to do my nano writing then got distracted by mtg arena, which is my brother's fault, so blame her.)
