What does your version of Louis like about armand?

He finds a sort of safety in Armand... less pressure to perform or to put up a front especially wrt like depression etc; Armand would accept him even if he was some unmoving shape under a blanket and he finds comfort in that. There's also a feeling of physical safety in a more literal sense. He feels seen ("no Daniel fr this time I feel seen ok this isn't like Lestat he sees ME ok listen--"). He thinks Armand is just really interesting as a person, he thinks its sexy that he's scary as shit. He spoils him and buys him stuff... Louis loves living in the lap of luxury. Armand is the love of his life because Armand Will Never Allow Him To Die you see.

Really enjoyed ep8 of Harley Quinn TV seeing Bruce Wayne get captured by Harley and knowing that it’s only a matter of time before his kids are going to come for him, and lo and behold, they do. Bruce wakes back up in Wayne Manor completely unflustered as to how he got there, Butler at his side, bad guys tied up, like it’s a side note he magically woke up at home and the problem solved itself.

Except it’s not wholesome, instead it’s just kind of tragic, because the entire stint in his head makes us realise he’s living trapped in the past, forever reliving his parents’ death, unable to move on. He can’t see what he has in the present - his kids who came to save him and whom he never doubted would come. He brushes it off as a given without understanding how much he has in Dick, Barbara and Damian.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? let me reiterate. an active duty air force member burned himself alive because he was so disgusted by what the us government was openly supporting. he live-streamed his own suicide, so the whole world could bear witness as a man in his military uniform set himself on fire to protest his government’s complicity in the horrors that we have all been forced to watch happen in real time. he became a new horror. footage of the immolation blurs him out the moment the fire catches, but you can hear him. it is over in seconds, really, but you can hear him screaming. he shouts “free palestine” until his body physically cannot make any sounds other than guttural screams of agony. and then he falls silent. a police officer arrives and points a gun at his still burning body, shouting at him to get down on the ground. and it is over.
