I get super offtrack and stuff but um here's me talking about myself and stuff
If you wanna listen to me rant ig:
So I learned about therianthropy from youtube (bc I don't have/want tiktok) and it was very different when I searched it on tumblr
I'm a lot more informed now I think and I've gotten more comfortable in my own fur (haha get it?[I'm so sorry]) and it was a huge thing for me for the first few months cause like WOAH new identity unlocked! And I wanted to tell my friends cuz... They are my friends ..... And I want them to know who I am ig
And holy roll of toilet paper that was so freaking awkward
I explained a little bit about what it was, and how it was different from tt and yt and they didn't say anything they just kinda say there and we're like okayyyy thennnnnn and I told them if they wanted to ask questions they could and i wouldn't bring it up again if it made them uncomfy
So I didn't bring it up again
One of the two friends has never said anything about it at all (it's fine, it is kinda weird even to me, so I understand) and the other is I think getting more less uncomfortable about it
Like friend #2 I was walking home from school with and they go 'haha you sound like a crow' and I just AAAAAAAA THAT MEANT SO MUCH TO MEEEEEEEEEEEE
but it is such an uncomfortable topic for people that I will never share that again unless they ask. I'm not gonna lie but I'm not gonna bring it up either 😭😭
I do occasionally hint at it? Like I won't say 'therian' or 'alterhuman/nonhuman' but I will say 'lok yeah I'm a crow/otter/cougar/etc' and I love doing that
It makes me so happy
Bc 'therian' makes people think of people that wear masks and run around on all fours (neither of these things are bad, but that isn't what therianthropy always is. The way I worded that sounds negative but I don't mean it that way I'm just bad with words)
And that makes ppl uncomfortable bc they don't understand it
Anyway
Online? I've gotten so much more comfortable
I've occasionally mentioned my animalness on my main blog bc.... ITs whO I aM
I don't like sharing my user to ppl I know offline bc I don't want them to know
But
I think as I've grown more used to and comfortable with my identity, I care less
So the next time a friend asks for my user? I will say @im-too-emotionally-involved because if they care about me at all? They will respect me and who I am.

knowledge long forgotten
got really into reading item descriptions on this playthrough. anyway did you know the silent princess is one of the only raw materials with a cooking effect to not explicitly list that effect in its description

thought ‘what if the vintage skins were more in line with actual 1930’s cartoons design sensibilities’ and promptly went mental. plus a bonus two-tone dandy ! since he’s not playable and all
so some things i learned as i was doing this:
-solo cups were not invented until the 70s, so scraps has a tin can as part of her tail instead
-hoodies WERE invented in the 30s but were generally worn by warehouse workers bc of the cold. they didn’t get worn by the general public until the 70s, so toodles and cosmo are Not wearing them
-leg warmers were invented in the 40s but also didn’t get popular until the 70s so glisten’s legs get to be naked. sad !
-GASHAPONS WEREN’T INVENTED UNTIL THE 60s. GIGI SHOULDN’T EVEN EXIST HERE. BUT I DIDN’T FIND THAT OUT UNTIL I WAS DONE DRAWING ALL THIS. OOPS !!!
other than that it was just a lot of ‘put gloves and/or shoes and/or pants on them. sometimes noses’
under the cut is All of them together and then also the sketch :]

i love being late to trends. my new years resolution is to be late to every trend ever. and you know im serious because im even late to new years.
(theres an inverse version of this by @chamiryokuroi , you should go check it out! i started making this before i saw theirs, but i think its cool that now theres both versions)
#art#fanart#digital art#dc comics#bernard dowd#timber#timbern#tim drake#tim drake fanart#bernard dowd fanart#red robin#red robin fanart#dc fanart#i dont usually do more graphic styles like this so it was a fun challenge#theres so many little parts to the original that i had to notice and include#i didnt wanna download or make my own heart and star stamps just to use them maybe 6 times each so those are all hand drawn#i adjusted the colors of the heart outlines like 6 times before i was satisfied#also the fact that bernard has a red jacket and pink shirt in this changes the color profile completely so i had to change some things about#-the OG colors so it fit in well#but im happy to report that i didnt use any major blend mode layers over everything at the end to get the colors to mesh well#which is a thing ive been doing for a long time but isnt very conducive to actually learning color theory#also also i spent like a full 45 minutes trying to get the text to look right#bc i dint have whatever font that is so i had to improvise with the fonts i did have and a little bit of editing#and then i had to duplicate it for the shadow and outline it and everything#it was pretty fun tho#seeing the end product was especially satisfying#i havent read ‘go for it nakamura!’ but i assume from context clues the little squid things on the cover are-#-calling him a simp/being supportive wingmen so i replaced them with steph and dick#who i imagine are watching bernard and tim’s relationship like a soapy romcom#and occasionally heckling them (affectionately!) when theyre being lovey-dovey

Not to preach to the choir but I wonder if people generally realize that AI models like ChatGPT aren't, like, sifting through documented information when you ask it particular questions. If you ask it a question, it's not sifting through relevant documentation to find your answer, it is using an intensely inefficient method of guesswork that has just gone through so many repeated cycles that it usually, sometimes, can say the right thing when prompted. It is effectively a program that simulates monkeys on a typewriter at a mass scale until it finds sets of words that the user says "yes, that's right" to enough times. I feel like if it was explained in this less flattering way to investors it wouldn't be nearly as funded as it is lmao. It is objectively an extremely impressive technology given what it has managed to accomplish with such a roundabout and brain-dead method of getting there, but it's also a roundabout, brain-dead method of getting there. It is inefficient, pure and simple.
