Author Note: Please read the warnings! This story will be an exploration of deep character growth. In hermetic belief, soul growth is not linear, but a spiral. I'd like readers to consider that belief while reading this story. I'm also a sucker for crime thrillers and the murderer hunting/stalking our protagonist. Voldemort has plans for Hermione... and he's just getting started.
** The story is not posted yet, but it will be soon! I'm currently mapping out the chapters! Due to RL events, I won't be able to post until May. If you are interested in this story follow my tumblr for personal thoughts and updates on the brainstorming.

Body Horror Beatdown, Match 26, Round 1

Propaganda under the cut. (spoilers, bodywh0rer)
Tokyo Gore Police
Tokyo is burning.
"So this is THE movie that got me into body horror, it entirely rewired my brain, the alligator woman in it made me go BONKERS because she's just so cool. Every single transformation is just an amazing show of practical effects. Also aside from the body horror, the story is so weirdly charming, the actual world building of the movie is surprisingly compelling, and it's worth watching with the English audio track at least once because it feels like everyone is just having fun with how campy the whole movie is. I am genuinely hyping this movie more than the one I submitted because it's genuinely one of my comfort movies it is so lovable, you will want to be bestfriends with the Key Man by the end I promise." "i wanted to write propaganda for tokyo gore police but most of that movie’s plot has vanished from my brain except for the minute-long scene where a human chair (a human genetically modified to look like a chair) pees all over a crowd of body mod sex perverts, so um. take that as you will"
Hellraiser
Demon to some. Angel to others.
"Gayest campiest swaggest BDSM ass movie WITH wet slime AND cunt"
"Hellraiser is another body horror classic! Frank the meat guy, the cenobytes, puzzles, goth bdsm fashion, it's got it all. The costuming and effects in this movie really was a cut above the rest and it holds a special place in my heart."

Hello! I’ve read through quite a lot of your posts and I’ve got to say, you’re an amazing author/writer (probably one of my favourites).
I was wondering if perhaps you could write a one-shot of Alastor with a fem! reader wife who is a cenobite? Like, perhaps she lost her life before him due to opening the lament configuration then one day, she appears in hell to have a “meeting” of some kind with Charlie or someone due to Cenobites being seen as angels to some and demons to others.
If you can’t, that’s alright! But thank you and I hope you have a great day! :)
~ 🥀
First of all, this is the sweets things and I want to cry because it means the world to me when people like my work and happy. I really can't express how much this means.
ALSO READER AS A CENOBITE 👏👏..how can i not.
I fucking love Hellraiser.
This request is perfect

List 5 things that make you happy, then put this in the askbox for the last 10 people who reblogged something from you! get to know your mutuals and followers ♡
Usually I don't do a lot of chain asks like this but today I feel like it 💜 Thanks for the ask, @synobun 💜💜💜
5 things that make me happy:
Spud. Of course my baby is number one on this list. He's been my angel for the past five years and I adore him so much. He's the best kitty ever and I would do anything for him. He's (very literally) the reason I am still alive today. His floof is healing.
My friends/family. I love my friends, and I'm so happy to finally be living within a half-hour of two of my best friends. They're amazing people and I absolutely love them. My siblings mean the world to me and I am so proud of them. They're both younger than me, and seeing all their accomplishments feels me with so much happiness to see how much they've grown. I love them and I want only the best for them. Jumping off of that, I have a set of cousins older than me who act like older sisters and it makes me feel so loved and wanted every time they invite me over or send me messages. I love them so so so much. I even have many online friends who fill me with joy every day! 💜💜💜💜
Writing. I will never stop writing. Maybe one day I'll publish some of my original works, and then maybe one day I'll publish enough that I can work more casual at my current job, because I love my job and the sense of happiness it can give me, but it is so hard some days and I'm still recovering from a fullblown burnout 2 years ago (they say it takes 3-5 years to fully recover, and I'm doing my best to give myself time but it's hard some days). Anyway; I have stories to tell, thoughts and ideas to share, and a whole lotta world-building that I've been dying to get down on paper. I will be writing until I die, guaranteed.
Singing. I sing all the time. I sing in the car, I sing while I cook, I sing while I clean, I sing along to music while I write, and sometimes I just sing while I'm not doing anything. Music makes me happy, and I need to express myself through music. Even if I'm singing a sad song, the catharsis it gives me makes me feel satisfied and content after.
Horror movies. Is anyone surprised at this point? I watch them on my own, with friends, at home, in theatres...I just love them. They're so fun! And deal with such interesting topics. I love the discussion some of them can bring up. (I do not love the discussion of what "should be" allowed in horror. Horror is subjective. Also, if it makes you highly disgusted and/or disturbs you, then it likely *does* belong in horror. Like, name a better genre for that? smh, some people...) I love love love learning about my favourite horror movies too. Like, everything I know that is "extra" or "behind the scenes" on Hellraiser fills me with such joy. I adore the Saw movies. Human Centipede, my beloved. Crimson Peak. Terrifier. Misery. There's just so many I find interesting and enjoy watching! The special effects are so cool; especially the practical effects and makeup. Like, ok ok, sidetrack, but DID YOU KNOW in Misery, the famous hobbling scene? Kathy Bates used a real sledgehammer and swung hard. The legs on the bed? Those were prosthetic legs built to look like James Caan's legs, made out of gelatin, PVC pipe, and a hinge in the ankles. The camera zoomed in completely focused on the hammer and legs, which made the iconic scene. Anyway, I love that tidbit and if you didn't know it before, well now you do :D (source 1; source 2)

Intro Posting
I've had this blog for a bit now so I suppose it's time to make an intro post
WARNING: Mention of blood, gore, horror ect ect.
Hai !! I'm Fire, your local artist, writer and general gay disaster! You'll find my art on this blog (and my twitter, linked further into the post), while my writing is on AO3 under the same username. I take requests for both of these, but I can't guarantee they'll be top quality. I'm still learning !!
I'm agender and aroace, so there will probably be posts about either of those things. I use mostly it/they pronouns but there's a couple more on my pronoun card. I'm also a furry (and a therian) if it wasn't obvious from the icon. Haters get out. More under the cut for ease of frantic blog scrolling since I know I do it a lot haha
DNI: General DNI list, racists, trans/homophobes and misogynists, ect ect. Also NSFW accounts. I'm a minor, I don't want your NSFW here.
IWC: You have anger issues, you trauma dump without permission/very often, you talk about drugs often
THIN ICE: Harry Potter fans (that one depends on who you are. My mother is a HP fan and she's as supportive as she understands how to be. Depends.)
I often find myself very invested in specific media. At the moment I'm in a limbo state between interests, but if you mention any of the ones listed below I'll probably interest you in a long conversation/ramble session about them :3
Media I like:
Key: Games ,, Movies ,, Anime/Tv ,, Other/General ,, Music
Undertale/Deltarune ,, Star Wars ,, MCR (+ Side Projects of the members) ,, Phasmophobia ,, Lethal Company ,, Fall Out Boy ,, Troye Sivan ,, Lights Out ,, Angels Of Death ,, Kittie ,, Fit For Rivals ,, Animal Crossing ,, Pet Sematary (2019 ver.) ,, Heart Attack Man ,, Hellraiser (2021 I think the year was) ,, Ruby Gloom ,, Videodrome ,, FNAF ,, Blitzkid ,, Ghostbusters (more specifically the latest one but I do like the franchise itself for the most part) ,, Cult of the Lamb ,, Splatoon
The list goes on, but these are the things I've taken the most interest in. They're in no order.
I'd like to keep this slightly short so here's two other things of mine:
https://p4p3rd0ll.carrd.co/ - Has other media + more stuff about me
https://toyhou.se/firefl1ezz - Currently in the works, but will have all my OC's listed at some point!
Both my carrd and my pronouns page have my discord if it's wanted/needed.

Lays down.
Okay so I slept on it. I disliked the new movie. For multiple reasons. It's better than Hellraiser 3 and on after that, but they just drained literally 90% of the sexiness out of the cenobites. No leather like at all. Also the whole 'pain AND pleasure' thing is just gone. 'Demons to some, angels to others' ? Nope, just demons. All pain. And the box thing is dumb, they just kill whoever's blood gets on the blade, all agency in solving the puzzle thing is lost. Completely threw out the whole 'it is not the hands that call us, it is desire' LIKE WHAT THE HELL.
That said, on a positive note; I loved the practical gore effects, the cenobites' designs are objectively awesome leather or not(could have worked with the actors' bodies better with the prosthetics but that's a personal qualm), and Jamie as the Priest?? Hello??? I fucking melted every time she spoke??
God. There's so much potential there and I really hate that the writing and direction on the film fell so flat. Like, it's a visually gorgeous film. It was wonderful to watch from a visual stand point. But writing wise? It felt like a Dead by Daylight match, just killing the survivors. Except there are multiple killers.

I watched a bunch of horror this year during October; initially I was going to aim for 1 a day but some days were double features and some were skips! Also, I tried to keep a balance between new-to-me and previously watched. Wound up with more new. Let's do a 1 sentence review on all of them!!
In particular I wound up reaching for horror comedies. Since horror comedy in particular tends to not shy away from any material, each of them has some bits that don't quite land, imo, but nothing I personally couldn't handle or would say to for sure avoid. As with any horror I'd seek out trigger or content warning info if you've got concerns.
House (aka Hausu - 1977) - rewatch - Essentially written by children and produced with all the loving care it deserves. [on IA]
Fright Night (2011) - New - Fun and everyone understood the assignment. As an aside, RIP Anton Yelchin.
28 Days Later (2002) - rewatch - As a revisit it didn't hit as hard but the rich emotional portrait of what to do with catastrophic loss still holds.
Mindhunters (2004) - rewatch - An entertaining whodunnit where everyone is sus as hell, especially LL Cool J because I think they let him write his own one liners.
Ouija (2014) - new - Bog standard teens picked off by curse, and not lousy with ZoZo as I'd hoped.
It Follows (2014) - new - I'd heard hype & the basic plot, was not prepared for the absolutely tremendous dream energy this brought to the table.
Season of the Witch (2011) - rewatch - Nic Cage & Ron Perlman in a fairy tale with about taking an "evil witch" to trial, which was not especially horror-y but entertaining of course.
Prey (2022) - new - It was excellent but it should have been shot in Comanche and not just dubbed.
Hellraiser (2022) - new - I actually have a lot of opinions about this one but I think [norm macdonald voice] Not Gay Enough will have to suffice.
Stay Tuned (1972) - rewatch - Goofy, reference-heavy without being "hey look at this cool right", fun for the whole family.
The Selling (2011) - new - Folks, we love a small cast horror comedy about a nice guy and his dumb dog of a best bud getting into a real pickle.
Prisoners of the Ghostland (2021) - new - I paused the trailer and jumped in after a snippet of Bill Moseley's simple country lawyer type speech and I'm glad I did.
Child's Play (1988) - new - Extremely adorable child & his mom are set upon by some of the best puppetry I've seen in a little while.
Silent Hill (2006) - rewatch - Alice Krige is so hot, what were we talking about again?
Beetlejuice (1988) - rewatch - Nearly every person in this film is a national treasure. (Nearly)
1408 (2007) - rewatch - This was a treat to revisit because Cusack nails the emotional range and they did so much more than you'd expect from a "haunted hotel room" story.
Resident Evil (2002) - rewatch - You're all going to die down here.
Velvet Buzzsaw (2019) - new - A great little Lovecraft style story where you're THRILLED when people start dying.
A Comedy of Horrors Volume 1 (2021) - new - Hilarious small production affair that belongs in the canon of comedy horror anthologies. (Also they at'd me on twitter to say thanks for watching!)
Burnt Offerings (1976) - rewatch - Seeing a genuinely kind and loving family come apart makes for a really affecting tale.
Bad Milo! (2013) - new - It had a couple really solid bits but in all honesty I will watch anything with Peter Stormare in it.
Children of the Corn (1984) - new - Man, fuck Burt actually.
When a Stranger Calls (1979) - new - I signed on because I really love Carol Kane so I wasn't expecting the twists, turns, and beautiful shots of Los Angeles at night.
Bloodsucking Bastards (2015) - new - BUCKETS of blood and nearly as many laughs.
Death Becomes Her (1992) - rewatch - The effects whip so much ass, the jokes hold up, and I'm reasonably certain this movie made a bunch of people gay.
The Cloverfield Paradox (2018) - new - I love space disasters but I wish this had trusted the audience just a smidge more.
Event Horizon (1997) - rewatch - That's how it's done and if you didn't know better you'd not realize this guy also did Resident Evil.
Scream (1996) - rewatch - Still holds up beautifully and I'm really giving past me congrats for being extremely gay for our villains.
The Running Man (1987) - rewatch - If you squint it's survival horror, listen it's based off Stephen King so it's obligated to count.
Scream (2022) - new - So glad I watched the OG one before, makes it easier to see that this is honestly a very transparent love letter to the original and to other horror creators currently working.
The Stuff (1985) - new - This was fucking GREAT and I can't wait to watch it with more people.
Ghoulies (1985) - new - Shit dude they sure are.
Wendell & Wild (2022) - new - Nightmare Before Christmas writer director Henry Selick knocks it out of the park yet again, claymation is such a beautiful gift to animation and film.
That's it! That's all the ones I squeezed into October!
I also blitzed through The Midnight Club and the currently released episodes of Evil (s3) and Interview with the Vampire. Enjoyable all around.

Hellraiser (2022)
Tumblr media
Hellraiser (2022) Written by: Ben Collins, Luke Piotrowski, David S. Goyer Directed By: David Bruckner Stars: Odessa A’zion, Jamie Clayton, Adam Faison IMDB Rating: 6.1/10 Stars Rotten Tomatoes Audience Score: 61%
Plot Synopsis: A young woman struggling with addiction comes into possession of an ancient puzzle box, unaware that its purpose is to open a gateway to a hellish dimension outside the known universe summoning the beings known as the Cenobites. The Cenobites, while once humanoid, are perceived as both angels and demons, they are simply "explorers" from another dimension seeking carnal experiences, and they can no longer differentiate between pain and pleasure.
My Review: Where to begin… This review will have heavy SPOILERS for the 2022 “Hellraiser” reboot film. If you have not watched this yet and do not want your experience SPOILED. I suggest you stop reading NOW…
I watched this the day after I watched “Halloween Ends” (2022) and my feelings about this movie are much the same, but in reverse. Where I hated the plot convention they used in “Halloween Ends” the movie was made competently. “Hellraiser” (2022) has a strong story idea, but looks like a made for cable TV episode. I kept feeling like I was watching the pilot episode for a “Hellraiser” show. That is what this movie felt like. While the plot is a decent one; with its take on addiction being the focal point of the story, actually is a fantastic idea for a “Hellraiser” story to be centered around. It is heavily mis-executed though. Same as “Halloween Ends,” tone is all wrong. The scenes that are supposed to create tension fail very hard on its face.
David Bruckner has some pretty solid credits under his belt. I just think the effort here as a director really misses the mark. I know this came out on HULU and all, but he should have been able to secure more control over the final cut of the film. I actually do not know, at the time of this writing, if this is “David Bruckner’s: Hellraiser” or not. I hope not. This movie is poorly executed.
“Hellraiser” (2022) doesn’t know how to capture horror on film and it be good. Sure, the Cenobite stuff was decent (when they are actually in the movie), but the tone is all wrong, again in this one. The scenes that are supposed to create tension fail to do that.
Whatever camera they shot this on and lit the rooms for really made this movie look like something on cable TV over being seen in a theater and later a TV. The very look of the movie is so awful it was actually distracting for me. I had to make it really dark in my viewing area just to see anything. Also for the love of god why in the FK is there a SUPER DARK filter on the camera to give the impression everything is in shadow? Why do modern day filmmakers feel that making it look dark in every scene, so much that you cannot even see what it is that is happening, is creating horror and tension by default?
Just because it is visually dark, doesn’t make it scary or create tension. For someone that writes and works in horror I shouldn’t have to point the finger and say; ‘go watch “Hereditary” (2018), “Altered States” (1980), “The Thing” (1982) & perhaps the original “A Nightmare on Elm Street” (1984).’ That is how you can create tension and horror on a low budget. I am a little surprised David Bruckner allowed this out the door as is. This to me is more like a rough cut, regardless of look, with the pacing.
I keep saying the plot is solid. I feel like having addicts or recovering addicts trying to find their way back to civilization only to come into contact with the box is a fantastic approach, but it’s just mismanaged the whole way. It has its fair share of WOKE culture stuff in there, but it doesn’t dominate the story. I feel even worse about the WOKE culture stuff in this, because it feels like they didn’t want it in there, but did put it in. Like a checklist. Insert WOKE content here and there. Whatever, if it works, fine, if not, it’s not our problem. We did the WOKE checklist. They actually take this approach with characterization throughout. The characters are not very stable from the start.
You have Riley, a recovering drug addicted, who is hooking up with a guy she met at group rehab. He is into shady stuff and she agrees to go rob an abandon cargo container. When they get there they only find the box. Riley and her brother fight when she gets home. She leaves with the box. She is in her car and finds a stash of pills. She takes the drugs and the box and goes messing around till she opens the box. People around her get marked by the box and are taken by the cenobites. Riley begins to find out who owns the cargo container and she finds out it is owned by a shady millionaire named Roland Voight who has been presumed dead for 6 years.
Doesn’t sound too bad right?
The movie is right at the 2-hour mark and we do not get to see anything really “Hellraiser” till the third act of the film. What we finally find out is the villain/millionaire Roland Voight has been hanging around his falling apart mansion with no power and believed dead that has a contraption attached to him that twists his nerve endings, leaving him in constant pain. He has orchestrated this whole thing from a basement with what exactly? This movie’s villain has so many logistical issues on how he got to this point it just blows my mind. This movie totally lost me story-wise and with the look of the film looking like a badly shot Cable TV movie I was left blah about doing more movies based on this. Some of the direct to DVD “Hellraiser” sequels were better than this.
“Hellraiser” (2022) is watchable and there are things I liked, but the things I do not like “heavily” outweigh what I liked and to me that is what ruins the film. The exact same line I said in my “Halloween Ends” (2022) review before this one.
Absolutely Fricikin’ Sad…
I may have a degree in film and write a lot about film, but I am no filmmaker. I have no major credits to my name, yet, but I do not always hate on movies. But when you have large properties like this and “Halloween” that can make money if you just put out a respectable film and not try to get too cute, overly complex, and woke about it, yeah I am gonna give them a negative review. I praise 1981’s POSSESSION. I praise a lot of horror genre films. I also tend to hate the ones that pissed me the FK off too… Like these did… Cheers…

The music doesn’t quite match in some places, but this was just a sample testing with my new mic and the free program Audacity. I don’t have money right now for a better program, but this will do. I’m quite happy with how it sounds overall.

Hee hee... some excerpts from fanfics I’ve been writing. First two are from the same fic, which is about Angelique and Elliott meeting during WW1 while he was still a human (it’s based on how Angelique and Pinhead interact as if they’ve met before, and how Pinhead talks about hell during Angelique’s time as if he’s been there). Last one is completely different and I have no idea when I’ll be able to post it lol it’s tangenitally related to my hellraiser OC storyline and is just straight up gay erotica most of the way through, but like it does fit specifically into the oc storyline so I kinda want to get some of the earlier story out first. Anyway thanks for your time mwah mwah kisses kisses lemme tag the gang @seeyouinyournightmares @shitfacing
Transcripts:
first:  Angelique’s lips twisted into a cruel smile around her cigarette, the lit butt flaring like a church candle. “Besides, what’s your reward for holding yourself back?” she said conversationally, “What do you get if you pass this test you view life to be? This Heaven you cling to, what’s it like? If you behave yourself will God let you indulge in your desires? Or are you suppressing your yearnings for the purpose of suppressing them forever? Or perhaps God will reward you by taking away the desires he made you with? It hardly seems fair.” “Heaven is… a-a place of happiness.” Elliott explained but his explanation was half hearted. It was so strange. He could picture hell vividly, he had nightmares about running naked through hell fire as German soldiers chased him with bloody bayonets and the devil from his childhood bible illustrations watched. But Heaven? The house of god, the place he was supposed to desire more than anything? He couldn’t picture it. “A place where there’s no pain, no agony. No war and no sadness. Everyone is happy, and… and...”
Second: Elliott’s quivering fingers traced as best they could the tiny loops of metal like skeletal rosary beads as his lips mouthed the prayers he’d been taught. “Forgive us our trespasses,” he begged, “as we forgive those who trespass against us.” But as he remembered those lurching figures coming for him through the thick yellow fog he knew he would never forgive. “Forgive me.” he choked out, remembering the rows of bodies he’d left, the split open stomachs, how he’d ripped open gas masks and watched eagerly from behind his mask as the poor blokes choked on their own poison, then strode off into the putrid clouds to find more bodies to slash with his victims blood still dripping warm and salty down his bayonet, almost like semen from an erection. “Please forgive me… I’m so sorry…Dear God, I’m so sorry.”
third:  Ray turned his head and realised a man had entered the church. He seemed to be middle aged, clean shaven and bald with a serious face and striking blue eyes that didn't change in colour even when he passed under the coloured shadows of the stained glass. He was dressed strangely, greenish brown trousers and a yellow shirt with a green tie. He carried a soldier's cap in his hands, turning it over like a pet only to hang it on the final pew bench's armrest. "Holy father." His voice was deep like thunder and honey. Something about it was compelling, gentle, yet it made the hairs stand on Ray's neck. Why hadn't he heard him come in? "I have come to make a confession." "Why certainly my child." Father Anthony replied pleasantly, "The lord's house exists to serve." The man slowly approached the altar and knelt before it, his head bent over in humility. There was something beautiful in the sight of a strong masculine body on bended knees, bent over into the submission men were so often denied. "Bless me Father for I have sinned."

Note
Headcanon: Murdoc sensed the bad in Ace. Buttercup sensed the good.
I totally see that! The basis for most of my Acercup fics are that Ace could still turn things around, he’s still a kid, he has time to change. And a lot of the time I skip to this character development, one of these days I need to properly write the actual redemption arch instead of hinting at it. So I definitely think Buttercup saw the good in him, even if no one else knew to look for it. Murdoc saw himself in Ace, this little green hellraiser who everyone else gave up on. To be very cliché, Buttercup is the angel on Ace’s shoulder and Murdoc is the devil.

Prologue to Steal The Moon
Series Masterlist ❖ Main Masterlist ❖ Join My Taglist
Rating: 18+
Word Count: 2k+
Summary: We take a look into Dave's early childhood.
Warnings: Fluff, and some angst. Nothing too crazy just yet.
A/N: I have way too much fun writing for Dave, and this is going to be a litttttttlllleee bit different of a take with him.
Next Chapter ⟹
Tumblr media
Dave was not always like this. A cold-hearted, calculating, emotionless killer. The man he was before would not recognize the person he had become. Before joining the DIA, before being on Mac’s team, he was a completely different person before everything, even before Carol.
However, the only person who would come to mind when he thought of those days was his best friend.
You.
Tumblr media
To Dave, you were always there. Since the beginning. The two of you were born to mothers, who happened to be best friends, delivering the two of you on the same day, mere minutes apart. He was born exactly when he was due, but you, no, you were born a month early and fought for your life from the moment you come into the world. Some would call that destiny, or fate, or whatever, but from day one, the two of you were a pair, even before birth, and would become inseparable.
The first time Dave met you was when you were finally released from the hospital and brought home. You had spent nearly a month there, battling for the chance to live, but after a month, you were finally able to come home. His mother had brought him to your home and laid him down in the crib next to you. As if on instinct, he shifted to be closer to you, and you wiggled to press up against him. Shortly after, both of your mothers came into the nursery, melting at the sight before them. They knew that nothing would ever tear the two of you apart.
At two months old, Dave and his mother practically lived at your house, his mother coming over almost every day to spend time with her best friend, allowing the two of you to bond more. Your fathers would always roll their eyes seeing the two women coo over the two of you but would smile at the joy on their wives’ faces. The two of you were their little angels.
When the two of you reached three months, Dave was clasping his fingers around his binky, but you had decided to suck on your thumb, not a fan of the plastic contraption. Since you were a preemie, you were growing a little slower than he was, being a few pounds smaller, but you made up for it in intelligence. You had learned how to hold your head up sooner than he had and had started to babble back at your parents. Dave’s mother had been worried initially but then noticed that he was just a quiet child, never fussing, never crying too much, having a very calm temperament for a baby. On the other hand, you were a little hellraiser. You would make it extremely clear if you were upset or hungry, and most of all, you hated having a dirty diaper. Your mothers took note of how different the two of you were but had a feeling it would not be an issue.
Once you both reached a year, the two of you were crawling around, and you were a little faster than Dave on all fours, but he was much more stable on his feet. He had begun to pull himself up to stand and had even taken a few steps while holding onto his mother’s hand. Since the two of you shared a birthday, your mothers saw it fit to throw a joint birthday party, and it was a joyous occasion. You both shared a large cake and had gone ahead and smashed your little fingers into it, smearing it all over the place, but mainly on each other, giggling in glee the entire time. The clean-up would be a mess, but it was worth it. Dave’s parents made sure to record everything, cherishing the memories that the two of you were making.
By three years old, you were both taking over the world. You were speaking full, well, for the most part complete, sentences, though Dave was still the more silent one. He would often sit back, quietly observing you, as you chattered on and on. You were a chatty child for your age, and your families were impressed with how quickly you had begun to speak, but they were worried about Dave until they noticed that he would talk more whenever you were not around, though he never liked when you were not there. Because of this, your two families decided to live next to each other, buying two houses and removing the fence that separated the backyards. The two of you were overjoyed, and if you were not inseparable before, you indeed were not now. At one point, you both begged for a treehouse, both of your fathers finally giving in when you broke out your puppy dog eyes. Everyone was a sucker for you, and you knew it; however, the only one who seemed impervious to your charm was Dave, but it was all an act. He was the one who would do absolutely anything for you.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, tragedy struck when you were five. Dave had to sit and helplessly watch as your entire world crumbled apart. Both of your parents were driving home from the movies when their car was struck by a drunk driver, killing them instantly. You had been playing with Dave in the sandbox on your side of the yard and were planning to have a sleepover when his mother got the call. Her face filled with sorrow at the news, and she held in her tears as she took you aside, tightly hugging you as she tried to explain what had happened.
“Sweetie. I’m not sure how to tell you this,” she started, “but your mommy and daddy aren’t going to be home tonight.”
“How come?” you had innocently asked, watching in confusion as his mother broke down in tears. “When will they come home?” His mother’s cries grew louder, and she pulled you closer.
“Baby, they aren’t coming back. They’re – they’ve gone to heaven.”
It finally dawned on you what his mother was saying, and you began to sob, holding onto her shirt as tears soaked the cloth. Dave walked over to you, wrapping his arms around you in comfort as you wailed in grief. Not only had his mother lost her best friend, but you had lost both of your parents, and there was nothing Dave could do to ease your pain. That was the earliest memory Dave could recall. The night his best friend lost her family.
Soon after your parents’ passing, you had moved in with the Yorks. Due to your father having no living relatives and your mother’s family consisting of drug addicts, you ran the risk of becoming a ward of the state. However, your parents happened to have a living will, saying that should they pass away unexpectedly, the Yorks were to raise you, and the Yorks had a similar arrangement for Dave. Aside from the horrible circumstances that resulted in this, the two of you were overjoyed; instead of having to live in two different homes, you only had to live in one, and it allowed the two of you to bond like siblings. Dave could be found tugging on your hair, you swatting at him in return, or retaliating by pushing him into the sandbox. Things were blissfully easy, and for a time, it was heaven.
When elementary school began, you were leaps and bounds ahead of the other children, excelling in reading, writing, and math, your nose always stuck in a book. Dave was the only one who could keep up with you, but he always let you shine in the limelight, content with happily watching from the sidelines. The two of you breezed through elementary school, staying close to each other, and making friends here and there, and things stayed that way when you both went to middle school.
In middle school, things began to change, the children were no longer as friendly as they once were. You were smaller than most, with bushy, unkempt hair, and glasses, making you an easy target. Due to the endless teasing, Dave would get into fights, coming to your rescue every time someone made you cry. Dave was much larger than the average middle schooler, and he took advantage of that, hurting your bullies with no remorse. He had gotten sent home countless times with a warning to stop fighting, and when asked why he did it, his response was always ‘they were hurting her’ or ‘they made her cry.’ As junior high progressed and the years passed, you began to grow more confident in yourself. Dave did not have to fend off the bullies as often, but he still made his presence known if someone overstepped. Dave was always your knight in shining armor, your best friend, and there was nothing he would not do for you.
Tumblr media
At thirteen, the two of you were discovering a lot about yourselves, puberty beginning to rear its ugly head.
“Aren’t the stars beautiful tonight, Dave?” you had asked him one night, turning to meet his gaze. “The moon is so bright.” The two of you were stargazing on the roof of the treehouse that hot summer evening, and although Dave was not the biggest fan of the activity, you had insisted on it, telling him to "shut up and just keep me company."
"Sure," he replied, irritated that you had dragged him out there when he could be playing video games instead.
"Would you steal it for me?"  you asked, a small pout on your face, and your tone made him sigh in defeat. No matter how annoyed he was, he would always give in to you.
"Of course," he said, rolling his eyes. "You're my best friend. Why wouldn't I?"
"I don't know," you answered with a shrug. "Because sometimes you're a butthead." He let out a huff and decided to ignore your statement, opting to stare at the sky instead, but after a few moments, he decided to speak.
“I would steal the moon for you,” he whispered softly. “I would move heaven and earth just for you if you said so." You beamed at him, turning onto your stomach to look into his eyes.
"You mean it?"
"Yeah. As I said, you're my best friend. Even if you are an annoying brat." You pinched his side and glared.
"Shut up." The two of you stared at each other in silence, and the air grew thick with tension and curiosity.
Like two magnets, you gravitated toward each other, you leaning down, Dave leaning up, lips clumsily meeting halfway, and a tingle ran up his spine.
You were his first kiss, and he was yours.
The two of you pulled away with a blush, and you gave him a timid smile, shifting to once again lay on your back.
"Dave?"
"Hmm?"
"We'll be best friends forever, right?"
"Of course."
"You promise?"
"Yeah." He felt your hand slide into his, and he gave it a reassuring squeeze.
"Good."
That night, the two of you fell asleep, holding hands in the treehouse after sharing your first kiss, and as you drifted to sleep, Dave took a moment to study you. The moon and stars illuminated your face with such radiance that you looked absolutely angelic, and Dave ran his fingers across his lips, the spark from earlier replaying in his mind.
You'll always be my best friend, he thought as he closed his eyes.
Dave silently wished tonight would last forever, content with how things in his life were.
However, high school had other ideas, and good things don't always last, even between best friends.

Pinhead and The auditor Headcanons
What they think of a funny and nice s/o
Requested: “Wow I didn't think you were going to see my request you have made me happy today, , don't really specify what type I headcanon (I'm so sorry) as you want (whether romantic, platonic or NSFW) no matter how much they are from them, just enlighten me with your writing why there really is almost nothing of them :3 sorry to bother you
Maybe some headcanon (romantic - funny about what they think of her and what they would do for her) of a nice and super funny girl (with pinhead, the auditor and hellraiser's advisor) I don't remember if I specified or not (I swear it's the last time I bother you) I regret it.” -By Anon (Originally in Spanish)
Warning: Non
(Hello, I am so sorry this took so long, I hope you enjoy it!) (Hola, lamento mucho que esto haya tomado tanto tiempo, ¡espero que lo disfrutes!)
Pinhead
Well he's not used to the nice and funny things in life in general
But having you in his life always being the light in his dark world, it's oddly a breath of fresh air for him
He finds you to be magnificent
He truly and utterly loves everything about you
Though he may not get some of your jokes or anything as long as you explain the joke and punch line he'll catch on
He does enjoy watching you laugh at some of your jokes
He thinks that have such a beautiful smile and laugh that he can't see anything but how beautiful you are
He thinks you are an angel and does not think he deserves you
Believes he's "Bad News" for you
But don't let him think this, assure him that you love him and wouldn't want it any other way and he'll be at mercy yet again
He isn't a gentleman per se but he will treat you like a queen
Like I said before you are an angel to him and he will do everything in his power to keep you safe because he can't bear the thought of losing you
The Auditor
So as his job goes, funny and nice do not come along...ever
There have been times where the victims have been a woman and they have tried to flirt their way out but it never works on him
He has a job to do and will do it right
But oh lord, you being nice to him gives him relief
It makes him happy to think about how nice you are to him
Makes him blush really bad when he thinks about you
How utterly amazing you treat him and how he wants to do the same
Though he's not a night in shining armor or some handsome young man he will not let that stop him from loving you
Thinks you (like pinhead) are light in his dark world
Thinks the world of you, because you are in his words "My whole world."
Loves everything about you especially your little jokes here and there
He gets most of them but some of the longer ones you might need to explain
But some of the shorter jokes he completely embeds into his mind
He will try to tell the same joke but will probably mess it up a few times before getting it right
But it's still nice to see him try
But despite the joke and such he loves, admires, is completely infatuated with you
Tells you every day, no matter what work he has to do how much he loves you
(Hello again, I hope you liked this and if you did any kind of feedback would be amazing. Have an amazing day/night and stay safe out there in the world!) (Hola de nuevo, espero que te haya gustado esto y si hicieras algún tipo de comentario sería increíble. ¡Tenga un día / noche increíble y manténgase seguro en el mundo!)
