update: i am becoming more and more sick as we speak

#so in graphic design class i have access to all of the adobe software #so after i finish my assignment each day i rush onto animate #and teach myself to animate #so far this is the fruit of my labors #tomorrow im going to color it and give it eyes #im also gonna work on making it overall more detailed and prettier #id work on it at home #but NONE of the FIVE computers in my house are new enough to run adobe software #the plan is to save up some money and buy a new laptop and one of those drawing-pad thingies with a pen #and then i can animate in my free time too!#doodley dude #three pigeons in a trench coat

#twrp #twrp band #havve hogan #decided to draw the little guy that took away 2 weeks of sleep from me #The animation project is done but turns out there’s gonna be a “convention”#basically certain competition categories are tasked to make a booth and display their project #WITH SAMPLE MERCHANDISE (and other stuff)#now I have more of an excuse to draw my goobers #so more of them soon #I had to hold back so much on not making the whole thing just Twrp but wanted to keep in some elements #The whole thing is the groove crusaders plot of musical superhero’s bringing in the good vibes but Japanese mascots #If that doesn’t get the team and I 1st place I don’t know what will #Anyway this goober came into existence because someone suggested a porcupine design and I was eating a truckload of cheese #I think the same teammate that wanted them to be a porcupine assigned them as the drummer. not entirely sure tho #anyway their name is Qubchee :)

i really wish I'd gone to an actual art school instead of transferring all over the place and switching majors and shit. i get pangs of jealousy seeing ppl post their art school assignments, they look fun and interesting and like a good way to learn!

#like yeah im technically an art major but my school doesn't like it's art students #there's not many classes focused on industry artists except comics classes which mostly are in the english category for some reason #and so most of my assignments are fine art focused and not super useful for my goals #nothing against fine art #i just wish i was getting character design assignents #costume design #animation #settings and backgrounds #sometimes i can sort of twist the assignment to my needs #but often im the odd one out #everyone else is doing more conceptual or abstract stuff #and like to be able to do a super conceptual project with my mediums if have to get teally good at those mediums first #and that would be a lot easier with an animation class ya know?#id love to do some mixed media art maybe #ok now im just rambling lol #but i wanna learn how to code a website from scratch so i can make dome cool art that lives on a website #like you just type in the address and it's just for that piece #fills up the whole screen #like those creepy pasta inspired websites in theate 2000s!!#also i wanna learn other styles #like i wanna play atound with some different anime styles and furry characters and heavily stylized cartoons #and collaging #i should cut out some pictures and scan them to make stuff digitally and combine that woth drawings and animations

#not snz #I'm just having fun #tho there has been sneezing bc there's so much fucking dust everywhere #I've been at the station for a hot minute #bc most of our guys are still out on fires #so there's just like nobody here #and i like money so I'm vibing with getting paid for being here extra days #but there's just a few of us here rn and we have like nothing to do bc we're hardly getting assignments #so we're just fucking around #and i have like the first responder version of cards against humanity #so we're playing that to kill the time and it's great lmao #but also some of them were asking me random questions #bc apparently the answers and explanations you give say somrthing about you idk #it was some bullshit but we were having fun with it #but the way they were laughing at every single answer i gave like hello #you fucking asked lmao #the nerve tho when they asked for an animal i like and three reasons why #and then said that that's how people view me and scream laughed bc 'it's accurate' like bro fuck off lmao #but i am having a good time like i adore these guys #they drive me crazy but that's my second family right there #plus with all the free time we get I've been trying different recipes and so far no complaints lmao #made a pasta dish tonight that was a big hit bc literally everything was from scratch incuding the noodles #like that's how much time we have lmao #anyway tonight is my last night at the station then i can go home which is a relief #we've all been sleeping on the floor and couches lmao #there are bunkhouses but the women's quarters are unusable so we're all staying in the rec building instead #i told them it was fine and they could stay in the bunkhouse but they were appalled by the suggestion lmao #so we're all vibing rn watching tv and I've literally never felt like I've belonged somewhere more so I'm thriving #anyway I'll probably delete this later I'm just happy rn lmao

The funniest thing about seeing all the different cat posts people tag as Lee Know is definitely the fact everyones right? He really is a cat guy. He would love that cat video or that cat mug or that cat t-shirt. It would join his collection of at least 10 other cat shirts he's been seen wearing. #im just gonna complain abt it here bc i just have to accept that i can't irl bc no one else gets it #its hard to b a dyslexic grad student. u have to read so much. and its good. lots of reading is good. u just have to contend with a soul #crushing amout of discouragement at the fact u just kinda cant read while ur peers r like sure i can read this in class and have things to #say abt it. if u make me read in my head in class i literally cannot fucking tell u what i just read. not a god damn thing and if i try to #let my computer read to me i cant fucking pay attention for long enough so i just have to accept that from here on out ill have to #physically read papers aloud which i hate so much. its the only way i can fucking understand things and it still makes me feel dumb bc ill #somehow still space out while reading and have to reread like 4 times before i understand wtf is being said. it takes forever and it takes #energy and i dont like talking very much and it also restricts me to only being able to read at home which is frustrating #and im like i need to stop my brain from distracting myself with things that dont matter and my counselor is like: ur ocd is trying to make #work ur whole life and im like yeah thats how i got it. its the only way i can keep swimming with the non dyslexics #so its like wtf do i do? i kinda have to take the hit and make work my whole life rn. morn the loss of other things for a while #i dunno im still a bummer rn. like im probably coming off as more an asocial freak than normal bc its hard to talk ans maintain conversation #rn. but whatever. sometimes things just suck and theres nothing u can do abt it but accept it and move on. ill learn lots of things with all #the reading i have to do and that's never a bad thing ...no matter how much i dont give a fuck abt animals #like jesus. i could not even begin to give a fuck about like 95% of mammals. fish r cool tho. plants too #but microbes is where its at. i dont understand y ppl dont understand how cool they r. oh well ill just have to tell them #if i can find my fucking enthusiasm. ugh i have to make one of my classes read a paper and i have to work with someone abt find it. she #works with like rabbits. i refuse to assign a mammal paper. i fucking refuse. we will do plants or microbes or fucking paleontology #i will fight her on this. ugh. light filtering or orchid speciation would b perfect. annoying #at least i get to work with some culturs this week #unrelated
