He had gone over the scenario multiple times in his mind. He's not usually the anxious type… His mother would probably shake her head at the sight of him in his current state, but, now with Derby tickets and an arsenal scarf neatly packed in a gift bag, he couldn't avoid feeling nervous (also adding the considerable debt to his group of friends, who kindly promised to charge him less in case Martin turned him down).

Charles was not by any means a good cook and he would probably never be, still there was something endearing about him in the kitchen fighting for his life to make the “Sick-soup” they remembered so well from childhood, Pierre was not sick, but Charles didn't need to know that.

His hands kept playing the piano but the memory of salt water felt like a ghost in his mouth. His back felt heavy even now without his wings and his muscles were tense, still he played the piano. The rhythm felt odd, and the sound bounced inside his head, he had his eyes steady on the ink on his hands as his fingers shifted through the keys.

i would say a pattern is that I never start from the actual beginning but from some random point where stuff has already happened and I just hope everyone bears with me, its also very common for me to start with a whole ass paragraph.

so as you know I think you're the person with the best sense of humour I have ever met and I would love if you wrote a 'crack treated seriously' fic. this could be anything you'd want it to be, but if I could choose, maybe a funny AU where Pierre is a Catholic priest. I have a feeling you would write that soo well. like, imagine Piarles as childhood friends and Pierre went on to become a man of the church and Charles wants to spend time with him so he asks Pierre to perform an exorcism at his house on a random Tuesday. or it's Valentine’s day and Pierre draws a heart on Charles forehead with holy water instead of a cross. or things like these Catholic memes I found on Pinterest, like

guy: father I must confess my sins

Pierre: what's the tea my child

or something... or maybe a Bible AU where Pierre is Jesus and Charles is Judas and it's friends to enemies to lovers...

or to get away from the Catholic themes - what about a 'crack treated seriously' sitcom style Galex fic?

IVE BEEN DYING TO DIVE IN ON THE CRACK TREATED SERIOUSLY I feel most m fics are already quite crack FICS but tooo angsty, I made an attempt with my Oscar/George fic but this plot sounds interesting (and I already have a wip for priest AU that was intended for a kinkmeme)

Fuuka and Yusuke know each other because they both dive

and they go to the same pool to train

Chie, Ryuji and Haru know each other quite well since they meet at world championships and continue to talk outside

Naoto and Goro have competed against each other so many times for top spot (so much so that Goro literally admires him so much)

Sae mentors both goro and koto but more so goro since she used to shoot (skeet shooting)

(sae got injured and it damaged her shoulder pretty badly and so she couldn’t compete leading her to take up being a coach instead)

Akira admires Mitsuru so much (he’s got her autograph plastered on his wall) He’s also trained with her once before (she becomes a mentor figure to him along with Zenkichi)

Shinjiro and Chie also kickbox together (although for chie it’s more of a hobby)

But then Shinjiro and Ann met because of taekwondo (shinji is like her mentor pretty much)

Yukari and Yukiko are teammates in archery

Kanji and Akihiko have passed on tips to each other (they go to the same gym)

Yu, Yusuke and Fuuka met because of the pool they train at (yu actually swims but he met them because they were watching him compete at a meet once)

ALSO!

Rise knows the 3 of them because of her synchronised swimming!
