Ant cockroaches live in the nests of leaf-cutter ants and disperse phoretically by hitching rides on virgin queen ants (photo 1) or by riding on leaves carried by ants returning to a nest. They have been suggested to feed on the fungus their host ants farm and are not attacked by host workers because they blend into the colony by mimicking the odor of their hosts ants. Adults measure only about 3mm in length.
Bug Murders is an ongoing horror series by Ghosttundra, creator of Lacey Games and Imigrantes Road, that focuses on the forgotten victims of a serial killer.
Individually drawn playing card designs that I made into a real deck - get Insecta Decks in my Etsy Store
The designs were made using colour pencils and then digitally edited - overall the deck and packaging took more than 1000 hours (which is why I don't make decks very often!) Printing was by Cartamundi, funded via Kickstarter.
*An example of "some other things" may include Nausicaa for featuring bug monsters, A Monster in Paris cause the monster is a giant bug and idk maybe Kung Fu Panda for Mantis. To me though, a single notable main insect character or a subplot involving bugs does not a bug-film make. Also, for the sake of this pole yes arachnids can count as 'bugs' enough so you can put down Charlotte's Web; however Turbo is too far for me. Worms and mollusks can be in bug movies but this is a list made for non-crustacean arthropods.
5 years... 5 years Celebrating Insect Week!!! Even taking precedence over Sonic's Anniversary in my priorities... And you know...? I don't regret it at all.
For several years now I have been a lover of insects, I am very attracted to them and I feel that they are more striking creatures than many tend to believe, and as a Sonic artist, it is a pleasure to see that the number of Sonic FCs based on them has increased , that many have taken them into account to create varied and original designs 💖😊.
Thank you all very much for your love 💖💖💖... Thank you... For making this a great community of Sonic Insects. Happy Insect Week 24
