Okay, so, listen, this is honestly going to be the last I ever talk about this, but the fact that I've been proven right about this jackasses involvement in this whole affair has got me laughing!

In 2017, or the year previous, who the fuck knows, Chris Hemsworth got his friend, Taika Waititi to direct Thor 3. Thor Ragnarok, which heavily diverged from the cinematography and the lore of the previous two Thor movies. Chris Hemsworth decided Thor was too boring. He didn't like playing him anymore. He wanted to play someone new and fun. He wanted to play himself. And he got just that.

I'll give Ragnarok enough credit, that aye, I might be fooled into thinking there was some interest the title character. But after Love and Thunder? No, now I know I've been fooled into watching a costume party by Chris Hemsworth, his family, and his friends. Ding ding ding! What do we have here, Johnny?

A bottom tier celebrity making a franchise that not only was all about him - his character, but all about him!!! He's playing himself!

His daughter at the end of Thor: Love and Thunder, is his daughter in real life (she's cute, no diss). His two sons played younger versions of him. His wife was a wolf woman he made out with! His best friends Matt fucking Damon and Taika Waititi both star in the role and the latter directs it.

I'm sorry, but at what fucking point did I sign up for a lazy written fanfiction? Because that's sure as hell not what I thought would happen in Thor 1 or 2, or Avengers. And you know, I am still mad, because I enjoyed the OG Thor, I enjoyed the OG Loki, and Marvel and, wow, did it not pay off.

Alas, it's on me for watching any new Thor films (aye, listen, I gotta family here!), but I just wanted to tell anyone who ever said Thor is a walking self insert nowadays. You are completely and utterly spot on.

Okay, I have more stuffs to say about this stupid scene. I didn't know less than 1 min of a trailer could annoy me so much (and makes me scared about this movie), but here we are.

So, Thor in front of Zeus. First, is this suppose to be Zeus in front of an audience as the king of the gods? Because, where is Hera? Maybe it's Marvel's interpretation I don't know sh*t about, but how can Zeus appear as the king without his queen, and how the f*ck would Hera be okay with his company???? We're talking about Hera, here! She's known for trying to kill her husband's lovers! But I think I know why, which lead to my second point...

This scene is objectifying everyone, and I hate. Call it equality, I just hate seeing it. Zeus is this All-mighty God, and how to demonstrate that? With a bunch of women being his b*tches! Women are trophies, yeah! Like, those characters are just that, women who love Zeus and are here to show how cool he is, because that's how you know a guy is successful, to how many b*tches he has! My point is Zeus has no reason to not have his murderous wife by his side during a public audience, unless it was decided it would be more "powerful" and "interesting" to have the king of the Gods surrounded by lustful women (It does seem to me as a demonstration of his power, because of the way the scene is, with the audience, and not a scene to show how much of a f*ckboy he is, like the scenes in Iron Man with Tony Stark, who were private discussion. I'm bad with words, I don't know how to explain it, but the atmosphere is different) And Thor being forced to be naked without his consent, and heavily sexualize by Zeus' company who collapse, so everyone gets the luck to be a sexual object and not a human being with feelings and thoughts! Great!

I might be going too far, but I'm sex-repulsed so any kind of innuendos makes me uncomfortable, and that's scene is nothing but sexual, and for what? It's not funny, it's uncomfortable.

Stop Talking Shit Harmsworth

Isn’t it funny that Chris Hemsworth and Taika Talk shit about Tom Hiddleston when he’s not working on a project with them. It’s almost like they are High School mean girls that will talk shit behind your back and say it’s all a joke if you find out. I hate them so much, why did you say the joke when he’s not working on project with you so he can judge if the jokes really actually funny or that he starts to notice oh you guys really are making fun of me and maybe I really do hate you. You know that’s why they didn’t make the joke around him ever because if I was him I’d walk out of that writing project completely and quit marvel all together because I’d feel harassed. I think we need to stop making mean remarks and stop calling them jokes when they are called out, because it isn’t funny it feels like inappropriate behavior that shouldn’t be allowed, especially when it’s talking shit about a person that’s not even on the project at the moment.

Taika anon here, thank you for answering. Why am I not surprised that he lied.... glad that more people are realizing now what a narcissist he is, since many reviewers are pointing out as one of the flaws in TLAT that's there's "too much Korg". Because I'm sure that wouldn't be the case if he wasn't the one playing it. I hope he (and CH) get the memo and the reality check.

Because narcissist and NPD has been thrown around willfully to describe Loki inaccurately, I hesitate to even agree with that for Waititi. Yes, I think he's self serving, pushing his interests on others and calling it better, while also belittling those who don't agree with him, but because NPD is a real divergent disorder, I'll refrain unless he's officially diagnosed. I should also mention Chris Hemsworth was the one who wanted/urged Waititi to toss his hat in for directing Thor, that receipt I don't have, but I believe one of my mutuals does.

I haven't seen TLaT, and I don't plan to, so while I cannot confirm, that's eye-roll worthy and kind of telling that he was taking up screentime. I believe, alongside being Korg, IMDb also mentioned he is the voice of "Old Kronan God." Whoever that is.

For Waititi and Hemsworth to get the picture, the movie needs to flop. Hard. While I hope it happens, because then Disney/Marvel will finally be like "oh, guess we can't give fans whatever and expect them to like it anymore," I still see so many diehard Waititi fans remain firm. But I have seen Thor fans becoming disheartened and dissatisfied with the direction it's going. Of course, all of this first happened to Loki and his fans, so watching the same thing happen to other characters and fans doesn't feel good, but it's still one of those "I told you so" moments.

First, let me congratulate you on your TLAT writing. There are so many things that I would also like to say, but in summary I agree with almost all of your opinions. Although, sometimes I'm not sure who is to blame for turning Thor into a clown: Taika, Marvel or the fans themselves. I still don't understand how many of them loved Ragnarok, but hated TLAT. And the truth is that Marvel has leaned too much on comedy in most of its projects. Do you think Thor can still return to his glory?

I don't think there is any doubt about who to blame for turning Thor into a clown. It's Chris. I'm surprised you didn't even mention him. Before y'all shoot me, I don't hate him. It's just a statement of fact.

Marvel was ready to make their third Thor movie the way it was supposed to be. Chris came in and said he can't do it anymore yada yada. So they got him Waititi.

Chris is the biggest culprit. Second is Waititi. He took the opportunity with both hands and self-inserted himself so hard as Thor AND in Thor's story as his best friend. He has been nothing but disrespectful to every aspect of Thor's story it's shocking.

Third are the fans. They bent over backward to hail Thor3 as a masterpiece AND THEN hate on Thor4 for the same exact things they praised Thor3 for. Like? You can't do both. I can't wrap my head around this at all. Make it make sense.

Not to defend a soulless billion-dollar corporation, but isn't it good that they respected/incorporated the wishes of their artist and gave him whatever he wanted for the third movie? Sure, they did it because he brings in the box office but something tells me they won't do it for everyone on their payroll.

To answer your last question, Thor can absolutely return to his former glory. In fact, that is what is next for him I believe. The general consensus after Thor4 is that fans totally want more Thor but not with Waititi at the helm/sans the overly comedic tone. I'm sure that is what Marvel is going to do or they lose the fans (read: money). Someone will have to sit Chris down and explain this to him, I'm afraid.

- His show didn’t have showrunners that actually knew about or cared about his character

- The original script he was given was blacklisted in 2018

- Michael Waldron the show ‘creator’ is a ‘phile’ and a sicko overall.

- Kate Herron said that they ‘made things up as they went along.’

- They wanted to ‘knock Tom down a notch’ in order to let Sylvie shine. I recall Taika saying a similar thing in relation to Ragnarok and even Feige removed him from Age of Ultron due to his ‘insane acting skills.’ 🙄

- Apparently Chris Hemsworth is ‘sick of Loki’ and said that he’s like a “clingy ex-girlfriend who can’t take the hint that it’s done, it’s over.”

- Taika Waititi said that Loki outshined Thor before so he wanted to stop that from happening.

- Taika wanted to put Loki in a porta potty:

- Most of his scenes from the movies were deleted

WE CARE MORE ABOUT KANG AND THE TVA, YOUR ‘CHARACTER’ IS JUST A PLACE HOLDER NOW!”

- They made him look older and less appealing in the show than he does irl. Look at him in some shots in the show then see him behind the scenes! The makeup, lighting and angles were unflattering at times! They even managed to remove that sparkle in his eye in the show but it was there behind the scenes!

- The director of S1, Kate Herron said that it was wanted Sophia/Sylvie to ‘knock Tom Hiddleston down a notch.’

The director of S2, Aaron Moorhead said ‘Why don’t you just go away?’

What we could have had… 😪 Poor guy. I wonder how he feels being bullied, exploited and sidelined all the time. 😢💔

If he isn't happy, Then I'm not happy either

This is about Loki, all the times he's been hurt in everything MCU it makes me extremely sad, and all marvel and his so-called fans enjoy him getting hurt and it pains me so much. Is it too much to ask for Loki to have one nice moment where he feels content and is having a good time? I just can't seem to get happy when my favorite character and hyperfiction are in constant mental and physical pain from how they treat him in the MCU. What is enough for you freaks? how many times does Loki have to be hurt to satisfy your sick needs? I want Loki to have a happier life and I want him to not be harmed anymore but I don't think that will ever happen so I guess I'm just going to have to stay depressed, Disney doesn't make your dreams come true, they ruin your favorite characters life and yours while you're at it, I hate Disney and I hate the MCU.
