A request that the department of education require all public school teachers to have medical examinations at regular intervals didn't receive unanimous endorsement from the public school department. D.. M. Davidson, of Ryerson school, Toronto, termed it "too expensive a means of detecting a very small number of cases of poor health among the teachers." 

Ross R. McKay of Hillsburg, was elected president of the public school department; past president, Miss Edna Moore, Toronto; vice-president, Miss Edna McCallum, London, Ont.; secretary, E. H. Stephenson, Toronto: treasurer, R. G. Elliott, Toronto. Charles Michael and Miss Lucy Dobson were named a special committee to draft a new constitution for the public school department.

"You can teach a dog new tricks," said Dr. E. A. Corbett, speaking at the trustees section on adult education as it is being extended in rural areas across Canada. "Your education never tops, and those old adages I quoted are now myths." 

He said 200,000 rural Canadians were now reached by the adult education program. "People who were being exploited are now looking after their own affairs," he said, citing Nova Scotia fishermen as an example. Following the war, there would have to be a planned economy. to bring in a better order and end such problems as unemployment. he declared.

What ppl don’t say about being intelligent or multitalented is that you have to hide your skills so others don’t feel insulted, humiliated, or feel like you’re making fun of them for not having the same abilities as you, human beings like to compete between them, and if they find someone who excels at something, the first thought they’ll have is to find a way to exclude that person, so the talented in question doesn’t “steal” the attention from them, so they can be recognized, they’ll find a way to ridicule the “talented one” so others will believe it’s not that brilliant, humans work by ego, and ego also destroys them, destroys the society, and nowadays society is based in capitalism, the capitalism needs this type of behavior to keep humans away from each other, so they don’t work together to destroy it, so humans will always be slaves ‘cause they’re addicted to recognition and instant gratification and individualism will always be attacked ‘cause it’s a form of freedom, and there’s nothing big companies and their bosses hate more than freedom and a mind clear from poison, so if you’re intelligent, talented, whatever word you want to use for it, don’t make yourself little just because everyone laughs at you, if you have an idea that seems crazy for this world, it’s because this world is rotten, not because you’re wrong, keep being free

What’s the point of me saying this? There is a good chance he may not make it the next four years and GOD FORBID Trump wins the election but if that happens and he croaks, we could end up with JD VANCE as president.

I’m sure I don’t need to explain why that would be horrible ESPECIALLY for women BUT we all know his comments about “childless cat ladies”, him wanting to monitor women’s pregnancies and him wanting to end No-Fault Divorce but let’s go to more recently.

We’re all aware of the hell that befell Springfield started by lies from Vance, Trump and Laura Loomer. Well after all that destruction; THIS was what he had to say:

Do I see the Republican general view on some issues? Yes. Do I agree with the liberal mindset on other issues? Yes.

The end goal for pro-life proponents seems to be only for the baby to be born. But after the child is born, these same people refuse to support social assistance or give help to the women unable to financially and emotionally support their children. How is that a 'better' life for the child? If pro-life supporters truly want to help unborn children, they need to support that child's ENTIRE life, not just the one pre-birth. It's hypocrisy at best. Pro-lifers care more about the fetus that hasn't existed yet over the woman, or the occasional man, who already exists. Republicans claim to be for freedom since they support the 2nd amendment, but that isn't true since they want to control you to carry the fetus until the end of term. They think that abortion and LGBT are evil since they go against the Bible. They think that since their side has the most religion, their party is the superior party over the Democratic party. Personally, I don't identify with both parties since both sides have bad ideas that I don't want to conform with. Honestly, I don't think being pro-life is the way to go because that type of thinking leads to overwhelming overpopulation, and life in the United States(or everywhere else) might not be the best for newborns.

There’s some common threads I see in the anti-voting posts going around, and I feel like I need to discuss some of them. Let’s start with the biggest one:

Voting to punish evil. I see lots of variations of this. Biden is supporting Israel, therefore we can’t vote for him. Is there any viable candidate who would stop the genocide? I don’t think the anti voting crowd actually cares. They are appealing to moral feelings rather than political strategy, because strategically, you have to realize that voting is not going to change foreign policy, and that change has to be pushed by other means. It’ll probably be something in the long haul.

Democrats should run someone else. First of all, this is a shit strategy. You don’t primary your president in the second term unless your party is falling apart. This may come from people from countries where replacing the head of government is easier, but the POTUS is the de facto party head. Also, going to the lack of thought to the goal — do you know someone willing to primary Biden and able to win who would do the things you want?

Biden hasn’t done anything anyway. This is just a way to bat away pro arguments. There’s plenty of lists of progress on lots of things. Student loans, insulin price caps, regulations, anti-trust.

Putting the entire Palestinian genocide on Biden. I’m not saying there’s not culpability there, but understand that the entire US government is in support of Israel, on both sides. It was a miracle we got a handful of Senators to call for investigations. We should cut off aid, absolutely. Who’s running to do that? And keep in mind that Israel chose to engage. US officials would have liked a more limited response, not out of care for Palestinians, but because they know from experience that it will come back to bite Israel in the form of newly radicalized Hamas recruits.

Liberals just have no hope for change. This is a new one. Just some idea that people are stuck in a rut and that’s the reason the two party system exists. The two party system is a mathematical consequence of the way we vote. There is reason to hope for change. The change, though, whatever means you choose, will take decades. Keep working at it. The hope is not that this election will fundamentally change things. The hope is that many small political actions over the years will push things forward.

Funnily enough, I haven’t seen a whole lot of third party promotion, just lots of this rhetoric aiming to punish. When voting, ask yourself:

Is this problem I have with this candidate something that the other candidate would be better on?

Are there other political actions I can take that will help?

What things can change with a different President or Congress, and what needs to be pursued by other means?

Withholding your vote as a punishment isn’t really going to help. Biden doesn’t know who you are or why you are not voting for him, and there is no one with a chance of winning that will do everything you want. But you have other means. Protest, organize, donate, build up alternatives, advocate for a different system.

Vote to give yourself space and get a little bit. Do other things to keep things moving.

For those unfamiliar with the Jewish National Fund (JNF), they're a Zionist organization that has been instrumental in the ethnic cleansing of Palestine.

On the campaign trail Harris told Kat Wellman, a voter affiliated with DMFI, that she would reenter the agreement but “strengthen it” by “extending the sunset provisions, including ballistic missile testing, and also increasing oversight.” “I was very impressed with her. I thought she gave an excellent speech, she gave a very detailed, responsive answer to my question,” Wellman told a local paper after the exchange. “I’m pro-Israel, so I was I was very concerned and all about making sure we limit nuclear missiles in any country that could possibly destroy us all. I thought her answer was very good.” Harris has condemned the BDS movement and claimed that is “based on the mistaken assumption that Israel is solely to blame for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.” However, she voted against an anti-BDS bill in 2019 citing First Amendment concerns.
